Kitexreader

Hi, my blossoms
Shancy here

I started watching Yugioh Zexal a few days ago and my opinion is that I lost count of how many times Yuma says his catchphrase - "I am feeling the flow".
When Astral say it, I laugh so much.
Now the story

Title: Mercy
Ship: Kitexreader

Do you have someone you care deeply? A person that cheer up for you to follow your own dreams. That helps you grow up and show how much it cares for you? Gives hopes and you want to work harder for that person.

Then you promise to yourself that when the day comes, you would do everything to protect the person because live a world without the love one is solitary.

The number hunter, Kite Tenjo, hovered in the clear sky with the help of the robot, Orbital 7. This young man was looking for a number card. Soon chaos spread through the sparkled city named Heartland.

Time frozen, citizens and each living being and non-living stopped moving. The truth is that the clock slow down to the minimum pace.

A harmonious song similar to a whistle, the old east themesong was played.

Kite jumped and landed safely in the ground. "Number confirmed. The hunting begins now"

"Who are you? Why time stopped?" The number holder asked with a loud voice.

"Such good questions coming from a punk. What you need to know is that I hunt numbers and you have one." Kite replied casually and coolly.

A dark aura glowed in the possessed person, a sharp look in the eyes as a smirk grew in the lips. "I won't give you mine so easily."

"I wasn't counting with that either." Kite said smuggly.

"Duel gazer on"

"Duel interface set"

"Let's duel"

So the battle for the number began. However a person was secrectly watching the duel, uneffected by the time curse.

As this card game went on, it was more likely that the holder number was going to lose. So it did.

"Time to take my reward" Kite said as a ghost hand, coming from his body, extended to take the number along with the soul. The woman was in panic. She lost the duel and will lose the special card.

"No!" A voice shouted. The hunter glared at you and you stood in front of your sister, protectively.

"Get out of the way, punk!" Kite ordered, little patience to deal with an annoying bystander.

"No, I won't let you take away my sister. I know what happens when you retire the card from them" You said hastily.

The number hunter was surprised that a common person like you found out such information.

"Duel me." You announced, getting ready your duel disk and gazer. Kite examined you up and down. He noticed you were serious about it. "Beat me and I will give you what you want"

"If you say so. Then I won't let you escape" Red rope wrapped your wrist and you tried to loose it but was hopeless, it was stuck. Kite used his anchor duel, the only way to break it is win the duel.

The duel rolled until both of your strongest monster show up. In the field stood up Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon and your (D/M).

Ragged breath leaving your mouth, sweat trickling from your head.

You wondered if could win this duel. Kite was a tough and clever duelist. He could predict your moves and seemed he was always 1 or 2 steps ahead of you. There was a strong possibility he will win.
No, you couldn't let your wandering thoughts lead you to hesitate in this game. You have to win it. Your sister's life was in your hands.

A flame fired up in your eyes. You were determined to win this because a world without your sister is nonexistent.

So you held in that strenght and fought to the last card draw. Your sister watched you duel for her.

The duel ended in the hunter's good side. He was the victor.

"Sis, I am sorry. I lost. I couldn't save you." You cried out, your hands close in fists.

Through your blurred vision, you saw what you thought it was a hand. You used your sleeve to wipe the tears in your (E/C) eyes.

Kite, the number hunter, was in front of you, stretching his hand to you.

"What do you want?" You said through gritted eyes. Rage enlaced in your voice.

"Your duel skills are impressive. I would like to have a deal with you." Kite said, his cold blue eyes gazing at you.

You would refuse but for some reason you decided to listen his idea. "What kind of deal?"

"Become my partner and I won't take her number for now" He responded. You looked at him, then at your sister and back to him. You were speechless. What could you say to him? Accept or reject the offer.

The number hunter was showing mercy. Once Kite, said himself that he doesn't posses such ability but he was giving it to you.

You held his hands with yours.

...

1 year later

"Master Kite, (Y/N) is waiting for you." Orbital informed and left the room.

Kite walked toward the entrance door and found Hart, his little brother, chatting merrily with you. The scene brought a genuine smile to his lips.

Soon you noticed the hunter's presence, a pink blush creeped in your cheeks.

"Hi, Kite." You greeted him.

"Hi, (Y/N). Let's go?" He questioned and you nodded.

"Where are you going? Can I go?" Hart asked and looked at you two.

"I am sorry, Hart. But you can't" Kite said and his heart dropped when he saw his brother's expression. He was about to cry.

"Kite and I are going out. Next time we will bring you with us, Hart." You said, crouched down to be in the kid's level eyes.

"You promise?" Hart looked at you, the urge to cry disappeared.

"I promise." You said and patted his head, then looked at the tall man. More like glared.

"Me too" Kite nodded.

"Okay. Bring me balloons and candies, please." Hart waved at you and his brother as you both walked away.

After a fun day in the amusement park, Kite and you were sitting in the bench watching people pass by, birds fly and squirrels looking for nuts.

"Remember the day we met?" You asked and rested your head in his shoulder. Kite felt the blood rush to his cheeks.

"Yes, I do. How could I forget? The way you protected your sister, the sparkle in your eyes. It reminded me the reason of why I was hunting." Kite responded. You felt his arm bring your body close to his, seeking for warm. Your warm. You giggled.

"You were a jerk in that time. You called me a punk and treated my sister and me horribly" You admitted.

Kite frowned and turned to you. "I don't like this joke"

"I never said it was a joke. I am speaking the truth." You replied.

A ravel meeting drew this couple, opposers at first, to this marvelous romance.

Working with Kite wasn't bad at all and Kite thought the same about you, his partner and love.
