A,N: So, so and so utterly sorry you guys for making you wait so long for this chapter. I had a lot of trouble with the duels, but in return for your patience, I have made this chapter really long and hopefully good. I will also update more randomly, giving almost all my time to Gx season 4, so I can finish it. Have fun reading this chapter 😊

Normal P.o.v.

It was a normal night in Domino city. It was late in the evening, and silence uttered because of it. In a little house somewhere, was a boy sitting in his room however and was sad. He was even crying. He had lost yet another duel today, and he felt down. He was even thinking of giving up on dueling for good.

"Why can't I become stronger?" he then sobbed out remembering how the other kids had teased him because he was weak.

"You're too weak Tsutomu!".

"It's not fun dueling against a weak guy like you". The boy, Tsutomu sneered, his eyes were shining in a weird blue color now.

"I'll become stronger one day and..". He got interrupted when a strong wind was suddenly blowing from the window.

It caused the curtain to remove themselves and a little breeze to escape into the room, blowing cards off his desk. It landed on the floor below him. Tsutomu looked stunned at that and quickly bowed down to pick them up. He was looking at one of his favorite monster cards "Gigobyte". It was glowing in a weird dark aura. Before Tsutomu knew it, all his card did that, and soon assembled a man, Trueman, appeared beside him.

"W-who are you?" Tsutomu stutter out rather shocked.

"There is no need to be alarmed. You made the card that way" Trueman told him.

"Me?" Tsutomu questioned puzzled.

"That is right. Your grief, anger and pain has tainted the card" Trueman replied and smirked evilly "You want to become stronger, don't you? Then accept the darkness within your heart. If you make friends with the darkness, the fear shall perish".

Trueman takes shape once again of a whirlwind of cards, engulfing Tsutomu, making the boy scream out loudly. That of course wakes up his parents, who rushes to the stairs were Tsutomu's room is upstairs.

"Tsutomu? What is wrong?" his father shouts and are debating with himself, if he shall go up there, and disturb his son's privacy.

His mother is right beside him filled with worry. However before they can do anything, the door to Tsutomu's room open, and the boy walks down the stairs.

"Tsutomu, what happened?" His father questioned worriedly.

"You were worried and concerned about me, aren't you?" the boy then said in a weird tone, while having a weird expression on his face. "I was tired of always concerning you, Papa and Mama".

"What are you saying Tsutomu?" His mother questioned in a confused tone. Something was not quite right here.

"But it is alright now" Tsutomu continued "Papa and Mama's worries shall disappear. Let us go.. to the true world of darkness!".

The boy was holding his hand out towards them, while having a really creepy expression on his face. His eyes were once again glowing in a strange blue color.

Tara's P.o.v.

"Ahr". Tara let out a monotone scream and woke up from this dreadful nightmare. Sweat were running down her forehead and she was gasping slightly for air, while trying to calm herself down. She was taking a deep break. Then another one.

"Tara. It is okay. It was a dream. Only a dream" She could hear Haou reassure inside her head, and the supreme king appeared as spirit form beside her. Tara nodded slightly. She was still catching her breath however.

"Tara!" she could now hear her brother shout, and seconds later, Jaden rushed inside her room, slamming her door open in the process. Tara soon found herself in the warm embrace of her brother. Tears were falling down her cheeks now though.

"Shh Tara it is going to be okay" Jaden reassured "I am here now". Tara nodded slowly and leaned into his chest, while slowly calming down.

"I presume, you two heard it?" Haou questioned slowly.

"Heard it!" Yubel replied and snort. "Felt it, was more like it. Never seen Jaden fly that quickly out of his bed. Their bond is extremely strong". The king just snort at it. Yubel didn't need to tell him that. Yubel and Haou was after all part of that bond.

"I am okay now Jaden" Tara replied slowly and tried getting out of his arms. "It was only a nightmare. So don't need to worry". Jaden sneered angrily.

"It was some heck of a nightmare" he then hissed angrily "I could feel your distress and pain. The only thing I could think on what coming to your rescue".

"I don't believe this was a common nightmare" Yubel then said "I felt it too. I saw it too, and I am sure everyone else here did as well". Tara looked puzzled at him.

"So you all saw the boy and Trueman..?".

".. Who got swallowed up by the darkness?" Jaden then finished for her. Both Yubel and Haou nodded slightly at that. The twins looked stunned at each other.

"A vision" Haou said in a cold tone "Or pre vision..".

"The vessels of darkness, knows instantly something is amiss" Yubel added and looked worriedly out of the window. "Your powers are trying to warn you of events who has happened, or is about to happen. We just need to know if it is a..".

"A vision or pre vision" Haou ended and snort a little. The twins looked rather confused now. Both of them staring at their guardian spirits.

"You make us sound like Sartorius, when he was possessed by the light" Jaden then mused out coldly "We are no damn fortuneteller".

"Of course you aren't. But the gentle darkness rivals the light of destruction" Yubel explained "Sartorius had those fortune abilities before he got infected by the light. The light just amplified them. One of the reasons, he got chosen as host in the first place. You will only get visions, who had something to do with the darkness..".

"Tara will feel them first" Haou added "She is closest to me, and the gentle darkness". Tara bit her lip a little. Just great. If it weren't enough with all this weird powers they were having in the first place.

"It is late you two" Yubel then said "I suggest you go to bed again. We can't do much anyway. Weather it is a prevision or vision, we can't do much, with this little information. Haou and I will keep guard around you and those visions".

"Well true" Tara said slowly "We have exam tomorrow anyway".

"Don't remind me!" Jaden hissed "I am totally not prepared".

Tara rolled her eyes. Jaden could have studied more, than ditching classes. That was for sure. However as usual, Jaden drew out a mattress beside Tara's bed, and stated he was gonna sleep in here. Tara had rolled her eyes again. Of course he were. Sometimes it would be easier for him moving in, since he almost slept here on regular basic. But Jaden was against it. He did miss his room once in a while. Soon however the twins were sleeping peacefully once again.

Normal p.o.v.

Time skip. The next day.

Everyone, every student in the whole school, was assembled in the auditorium, and was now listening to Chancellor Sheppard's speech. Even the twins. Although Tara and Jaden was standing on top of the staircase. There were way to many students in here for Tara's taste, but the Chancellor's announcement were rather important. He was explaining the third years new achievements who were happening now.

"Students of duel academy. I am sure you already know why you are assembled here today. The graduation duel of this year has finally come" Sheppard said and smiled at all the students who were sitting there. "This will be the last of the school days for the 3rd graders. I want all of you to do your best in each duel so that there are no regrets".

At that all the students mumbled and clapped when his speech ended. Crowler coughed a little. It was his turn to talk now.

"Now then, I will explain the rules and details" Crowler then began explaining "The goal of the 3rd graders, is to add up the points obtained from each duel until they get 100 points. You obtain 1 point regardless of whether you win or lose a duel. If you duel and win against a 1st grader, you obtain 1 point. When against 2rd grader, 2 points, and when against a 3rd grader, 3 points. You can only duel the same opponent once. You do not lose any points, even if you lose, and when the accumulated points reaches 100, your graduation duel assignment will be cleared".

"So all you have to do is duel 100 times at most. It is a piece of cake just clearing it" Chazz proclaimed rather confident. He was sure he could win it all.

"But.." Crowler then said and got everyone's attention "During this term you can continue to accumulate your points, and the point ranking at the end of this term, will become your final grade at duel academy".

"But it is a lot of work if you want to continue accumulating your points until the very end" Alexis said and looked rather thoughtful.

"The number of students at duel academy are.." Hassleberry were beginning to count now. He was sitting beside Alexis.

"You have to duel all day if you're going to duel against everyone" Syrus replied him. He was sitting behind Alexis together with Chazz. Atticus chuckled.

"The final school days at duel academy" He then mused out. He was sitting beside Alexis and were smirking an sheepishly smile. "It's an event worthy of being the last". Chancellor Sheppard coughed again to get their attention.

"And the student with the most point, will be presented with the deck displayed at this school" Sheppard then said "The king of Games. Yugi Muto deck recipe will be provided by industrial illusions!".

That made all the student cheer up like hell. All third year students were psyched now. Everyone wanted a recipe of Yugi's deck.

"Sam hill. Did you hear that? One of you get Yugi Muto's deck" Hassleberry uttered stunned. "What an awesome prize. Tara, my beloved dino queen will surely win it".

"Ah, ah, ah" Chazz said and waved with his finger "The king of games deck, will belong to the Chazz".

"Now I'm sure everyone is even more encouraged to give it their all" Alexis replied and her eyes wandered up the stairs. She locked eyes with her boyfriend. Jaden waved and smiled a cheesy smile at her.

"The graduation duel will begin now! I wish the best of luck to you all" Sheppard uttered which caused almost all the students to rush out of the classroom to duel.

Now in the hallways, the third year students, Alexis, Chazz, Syrus, and Atticus, were all assembled to talk about how they were gonna approach this graduation duel.

"This.. may be the last time.. we duel each other" Syrus then uttered in a sad tone.

"Maybe so, but I won't hold back!" Atticus then proclaimed.

"Bring it on!" Syrus replied right back at him in a firm voice.

"Then, do you want to settle things first between us third years?" Chazz questioned and were now standing straight, after been leaning his back at the pillar there.cc

"Don't rush it. Let's save the fun for last" Alexis suggested with a smile. At that the all nodded in agreement.

Twins p.o.v.

In the meantime.

Tara and Jaden was on their way back to the Slifer red dorm, and was accomplished by Hassleberry, who surprisingly wasn't flirting with Tara for a change. He just wanted to hang out with them, since they were soon leaving. Or so he proclaimed.

"I can never get used to those kind of meeting's" Jaden replied slowly and yawned. Tara did as well. None of them did have a good night sleep after all.

"Come on Sarge. Don't you want become the top?" Hassleberry questioned.

"It'd be wrong for a Slifer red student like me to get to the top" Jaden proclaimed with a lazy smile "Beside only one in the Yuki family shall hit the top. That spot is reserved to my sister".

Tara gave him a big hug for that. She was so happy he had considered her wishes in this. She did want to become the top student. However it was more because she wanted to make Zane proud of her.

"Thanks Jay. Well I do wish to be the one who had the graduation duel at the end of the school" She then told them "I know who my opponent should be too".

"Wait, you don't care about Yugi's deck, my dino queen?" Hassleberry uttered confused.

Tara shook her head. The deck wasn't that important to her at all. What was important to her was challenging Jaden to that duel. She could hear Jaden chuckle at her.

"Oh Tara, you are sweet, but if you wanted a duel, you could just ask" her brother replied and sent her a big smile. He had read her thoughts easily "I would accept. You don't need to go through so much trouble".

"I know that, but I am not sure we have the time during this exam beside the graduation duel" Tara then replied slowly. Jaden looked puzzled at her.

"What are you taking about? We are just gonna have a fun and easy exam" he then proclaimed "It is not like anyone would challenge us anyway".

"Um Sarge, I think you might be a tad wrong there" Hassleberry replied and pointed out in the air. They had almost reached the red dorm. Problem however was that a herd of students were standing in front of it. All in either Blue or yellow coats.

"What?! What is up with all that?" Jaden uttered rather stunned.

"I believe that is our opponents" Tara replied in her monotone voice, but at the same time smirking at Jaden. Jaden glares back at her, and was surely about to say something back to his sister, when the students noticed their presence.

"Ahr there they are!" one of the student yells and rushed over them. The first one approaching them was an obelisk blue. He has business with Jaden apparently.

"Jaden Yuki! Please be my opponent!" he shouted. Others however quickly reached them. All of them begging to be Tara or Jaden's opponent.

"Hey I challenged Jaden Yuki first!" the obelisk blue shouted. "Please accept".

"You are?" Jaden questioned puzzled.

He was a little overwhelmed by this. So was Tara. She ended up clinging to Jaden because of all of the students who were surrounding them. Hassleberry instantly noticed and pushed away as many students as he could, grabbing the obelisk blue boy, who he knew, to make them take a least some decent steps back , so Tara could breathe.

"One soldier at the time privates" he sneered "My dino queen is not liking you all this close. Sorano go ahead and challenge the Sarge. Everyone else form a line". He turned towards the obelisk blue boy.

"I am the second year student Sorano Daigo" the boy introduced "It has always been my dream to duel you someday. The one who saved the world from the shadow rider and society of light. I just couldn't let this opportunity pass, and I guess everyone here feels the same way".

Tara lifted an eye brow at that. How many were here to duel Jaden compared to herself?! Jaden growled a little at that too.

"You do know I could never save the world without my twin sister here" Jaden then hissed at Sorano "She deserves as much credit as I do".

"Of course!" Sorano said and smiled a warm smile "Everyone is here to duel both of you, but figured you couldn't duel me together considered all those students".

"Please duel us!" the other duelists then said and bowed their head respectfully.

"This many?" the twins uttered in unison and looked at the herd. Tara didn't even expect all this. Hassleberry chuckled at that and looked at them.

"Guess my Dino queen and Sarge are really popular" he then said and smiled.

"Are you serious?" Jaden sneered. He was not looking forward to that many duels. There goes their peace and quiet.

Normal p.o.v.

At Chazz, Alexis and Syrus's end, chaos was also loose. Just like with the twins, those three were surrounded by duelists, who wanted to duel them.

"Ah Chazz Princeton please duel me!" Duelists shouted.

"Syrus Truesdale, me too!" another one shouted. Syrus looked bewildered at all this.

"What's going on?" He uttered.

"What is with those guys?" Chazz sneered and tried to get out of the crowd.

"Well Chazz and Syrus are soon going to become pro's right?" A obelisk boy asked.

"Then this is our only chance" another obelisk shouted. Another one shouted that he would brag about this his whole life. It all ended with a unison plea of those three dueling them. Chazz, Alexis and Syrus looked at each other.

"Fine!" Chazz ended up shouting "Everyone get in line!".

That the students did and soon three long lines was directed towards those three duelists. Chazz, Alexis and Syrus had their work cut out for them.

A little bit away on the other side of the lake at the obelisk dorms, was Atticus leaning at a tree and were looking at how his sister and Chazz and Syrus were dueling. He was a little annoyed at that.

"Those three sure are popular" He then uttered "Though I am a graduate of this school as well. Now then, who will be my opponent?".

"Atticus!" girly screams could be heard behind him now and a crowd of girls were running towards him. All waving their hands at him to get his attention.

"You guys?" Atticus questioned and looked at the girls. It was either all girls from his fan club, or girly admires in general.

"Yes!" the girls yelled in unison. Atticus smiled sheepishly. Guess I forgot to tell my fan club that I am gay. Oh well I can tell them, after I graduated.

"Go easy on me okay" he then said and sent them all a smile.

However then he noticed that two girls, who proclaimed to be his biggest fans, was not present at all. Hmm wonder where Mindy and Jasmine has went off too. I was sure at least those two would duel me, consider they are a graduates as well. Guess I have to find them after I duel all these opponents. Atticus activated his duel disk and the dueling began.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sitting at the stairs of the red dorm and was looking at Jaden, who was underway to duel his opponent. That guy Sorano Daigo, who had challenged Jaden first. Tara could also be dueling, but both her and Jaden had pointed out that they wanted to be watching each other's duels. Even though that might take longer for both of them to clear their exam. Tara and Jaden both wanted to enjoy their few last school days together. Surprisingly no one of their opponents had anything against them waiting. Many of them was just thrilled seeing the famous twins duel. So after a couple of Rock, Paper, Scissors, games, Jaden was declared the first to duel.

"Go get him Jaden!" Tara cheered in her monotone voice at the sideline. Jaden turned towards her and smiled. He was happy for her rooting for him.

"I will go first" Sorano claimed and smiled confidently "I won't hold back just because you are my upper classmate". Jaden smiled back at him.

"Of course. As a third year student, it wouldn't look very good in front of my sister, if my underclassmen went easy on me" Jaden said and grinned. Tara hummed.

"I don't think you should be worried about that" She then replied "It would be some achievement if an underclassman did actually beat you Jaden. They would have something to brag about. Beating the savior of the world". Jaden eyes widened.

"Seriously?!" he then said and looked at Sorano "Then it is gonna be interesting. Hey Sorano are you strong?". The blue obelisk boy snort at that comment.

"Sarge, don't underestimate him. Sorano is the top private from second grade in the obelisk blue dorm. He is differently strong" Hassleberry then replied.

Tara hummed at that. It might be an enjoyable match for both of them. As Jaden and Sorano was activating their duel disks, Tara also noticed a certain king was present. Tara smiled inside. Someone wanted to see if Jaden were strong enough to win.

Jaden: 4000Lp.

Sorano: 4000Lp.

Jaden started off by summoning "Dandelion" in def mode. Then he set one card and ended his turn. Tara hummed at that. She wondered what kind of hand he was having. Sorano's turn. He drew and summoned "Horus the black flame dragon lv 4" in att mode. Tara lifted an eye brow at that. So he was using a Horus deck. Sorano continued his move by playing the spell "Level up". He send Horus lv 4 to the grave, so he could summon "Horus the black flame dragon lv 6". It was a monster with 2300 att points. Sorano of course attacked Jaden, and destroyed his Dandelion. Because it was destroyed Jaden got two fluffy tokens in def mode on the field. Sorano placed a face down card and ended his turn. However now at the end phase, Horus could evolve once again, because of its eff. Since it destroyed his monster in battle, it could now evolve into "Horus the black flame dragon lv 8". It was a dragon with 3000 att. Tara was rather impressed by that.

"Hmm how would you handle this Jaden?" Haou questioned slowly.

Tara was thoughtful as well. She knew of Horus and it's level up deck. It reminded a little of Chazz and his masked dragon. It could level up just like that, but Horus lv 8 was the strongest monster of this deck, and with its special eff, it would mean great trouble to Jaden. He had to play his cards in just the right way, or he might lose. It was Jaden's turn now. He drew and summoned "Cross porter" in def mode on the field. (400 att and def) Then he activated the magic card "E - emergency call". Tara eyes widened a little at that. This was what she was worried about. Jaden's deck weakness.

"It is no use Jaden, because Horus lv 8's eff activates" Sorano then replied and showed them all just how that worked.

As long as Horus lv 8 was on the field, Jaden could no longer use spell cards, which means Polymerization was off limit. Horus would just negate them and destroy them. Jaden's E-emergency call was history.

"I was expecting that" Jaden said and smirked.

He activated "Spell striker's" monster eff in his hand. By banishing a spell card from the grave, Jaden could now special summon "Spell striker" from his hand to the field in att mode. (600 att, 200 def) Tara hummed at that. Apparently Jaden had accounted for that. He knew of Horus eff, and thereby let his E-emergency call get destroyed on purpose. She wondered what else her brother had in store for them. Jaden attacked with Spell striker. It's eff made it able to attack the opponent directly, and if it ever got attacked and destroyed, Jaden took no damage. Sorano lost 600 life points.

"Neither of them are holding back" Hassleberry said slowly. "Some tough soldiers we are having in our ranks here".

Tara rolled her eyes at that. Sorano may be tough, but there was no way, her brother would lose. It was Sorano's turn again. He drew and activated the spell "Stop defense" from his hand. He could chance one of Jaden's monster's into attack mode. It came of no surprise to Tara, that Sorano changed Jaden's fluff token to att. It had after all 0 att. Jaden would take major damage. Sorano attacked with Horus lv 8, but Jaden quickly revealed his face down "Secret mission". With this card, Jaden could automatically end the battle phase. Or he might could have, if it wasn't for Sorano who was countering his move.

"Not good enough Jaden" Sorano then told him "It is within my calculations that you'd use trap cards against me".

Sorano activated his face down continuous trap card "Royal Decree". With this in play, it could cancel out all trap cards on the field beside itself. Tara was rather surprised by that. A underclassman who really had studied Jaden and his deck. Sorano was really strong. Jaden was in a big pinch. His trap card was not working. Therefore Horus lv 8 attacked and dealt Jaden 3000 points of damage. However Sorano was not done yet. He activated another spell called "Sealer formation". Instead of drawing on his next turn, Sorano could instead add a seal card from his graveyard back to his hand. Like stop defense for instance. Tara eyes wandered over to her brother. That means Jaden has to win this next round or he is done for. Tara must admit she was a little bit worried now.

"There is no need" Haou said slowly and smirked "Jaden can still win this. As long as he believes in his deck". Tara nodded slightly. There were still One way he could get out of there. He had to beat Horus lv 8 off the field with brute force.

"Alright! If I use stop defense on my next turn, victory is mine" Sorano said and smiled happily. Jaden however were also smiling.

"Is that so?" He questioned in a confident tone "Indeed, your Horus deck that seals the effect of spell cards, may be bad deck to oppose my elemental hero deck, but my hero deck, has also gone through several evolutions, so that it can't be compared to the previous. Now I will prove that to you".

Tara smirked inside. Jaden was radiating with so much confidence that even Sorano looked worried about what Jaden's next turn was going to be. Jaden drew. He started off by using Cross porter's eff. He could send one of his monsters, like spell striker, to the grave, to special summon "Neo spacian flare scarab". Jaden then sacrificed cross porter and his fluff token to summon out "E.H. Neos" to his field. With the power from the spacians Jaden didn't need to use polymerization to fuse his monsters. He contact fused those two spacians to fusion summon "E.H. Flare Neos" to the field in att mode. (2500 att, 2000 def) Jaden used his monster eff right away. Flare Neos att points increased by 400 for every spell and trap on the field. It now rose to 3300 att. Which meant that Jaden's monster was stronger than Sorano's.

"Go, flare Neos! Attack his Horus level 8" Jaden said firmly and made his monster attack. Sorano's monster got destroyed and his life points dropped to 3100.

"The seal of spells are gone now" Jaden then told Sorano "Which means I can use spells again".

Jaden activated the spell "Contact out". That card de-fused his one monster into Neos and Flare scarab once again. Jaden attacked with his two monsters and made Sorano's life points drop down to 0. Sorano fell to the ground rather annoyed. He had lost the duel. Jaden smiled at him though.

"That's game. But it was a great duel" Jaden praised.

Tara however still noticed that Sorano was down. She got up from her spot on the stairs and was about to say some heartwarming words, to cheer him up, even though she was speaking in a monotone voice. Sadly when she got up, the crowd of duelist believed it was their turn against her, and soon surrounded her so they could duel. It was first when Hassleberry pushed them all away once again, that Tara could be able to do anything at all, and by that time Sorano had already left. Properly down from being defeated by Jaden.

"So sis, who are you gonna pick for your first duel?" Jaden then questioned "There are so many, so are you gonna pick by random?".

Tara shrugged a little by that. She might as well do that, they had to duel them all at some point anyway. Haou was floating beside her, looking carefully at the competition, but in the long run she had to choose. Haou didn't care who they battled, besides that they all would be defeated by her in the end. Tara took a deep breath and just pointed out in the crowd, without looking. The duelist she pointed at now, would be her first opponent.

"You.. you are gonna be my.." Tara said slowly. But before she could see who it was, two voices cut through the air in here.

"Tara Yuki, we challenge you to a duel!".

Normal p.o.v.

In the meantime Axel is sitting in his wan who is standing somewhere in domino city. He was doing some research, detailing all the residents. He had promised the twins to check up on something regarding their enemies, and this was the first step. On a computer in here all the residents names were present. Or was. Without any specific reason, the residents names, began slowly to drop on the computer screen. It was like they were erasing themselves from history itself, and from people's memories. Axel widened in surprise by that. He rushed out of the wan, only to find Domino city complete deserted. No people were around. Axel rushed to Kaiba corp. He was trying to get in touch with a certain CEO. However no one answered their phones in there. Axel was not liking this. What in the world is going on here? Even the people of Kaiba corp. has disappeared. Axel turned around. He was looking at the city. No that is not all. There is no one in the whole city!

Back at duel academy, Sorano was wandering through the woods. He was feeling a little down, and wondered how his calculations could have gone wrong.

"Ahr, I believed in this deck and thought I could win for sure" Sorano said to himself and stopped up. He took a look at his deck. "Well I kinda promised Jaden to take on his sister as well. Just need to re arrange my deck".

However an angry thought was still lingering in his mind, on how he could actually lose, and that was all they needed. Before Sorano could do a thing, his cards suddenly turned dark.

"What's this?" the boy questioned puzzled. The dark aura intensified and before long, dark energy sparked from the cards, and Trueman was standing some meters away from Sorano. He was smirking evilly.

"Who.. who are you?" Sorano questioned. Mr. T looked at him.

"I am the one who awakened from the darkness of your heart" he replied and suddenly changed shape. Sorano was now looking at himself, or a copy of himself. The new Sorano smirked evilly at him and activated his duel disk.

"From now on I am you. I'll have the original you perish" Mr. T said and a duel began. A duel where the real Sorano sadly would lose.

Tara's p.o.v.

In the meantime, back at the red dorm.

Tara was staring. Really staring. In front of the crowd now was two obelisk girls, she was very familiar with. Mindy and Jasmine were standing firmly in front of her.

"Tara we challenge you to a duel!" Jasmine repeated and were ready with her duel disk.

Mindy followed slowly after. Tara looked puzzled at them. Sure Mindy and Jasmine was 3 years as well. They had exams duel to fulfil too, but to challenge her of all the students in the school. Tara didn't understand that.

"Why?" she then said slowly. Jasmine snort at that.

"Because it is only chance we get" she said firmly "We want to patch things up".

"Tara, why did you leave Obelisk blue?" Mindy questioned "You didn't leave because of us did you? I thought we became friends..".

"Clearly not Mindy, since she left us like that" Jasmine sneered.

Tara was really confused now. Sure, Mindy and Jasmine were Alexis friends and were kind to her now, but that was after they had been mean bullies to her at their first year. Something Tara had forgiven them for, but now. I sounded like Mindy and Jasmine thought she had left the blue, because of them.

"I needed to be with my brother" Tara replied and shrugged "You two are not the reason I left, so don't worry". Mindy and Jasmine looked at each other.

"If you say so, but please duel us" Mindy then begged "You graduate soon, and Jasmine and I wanted to apologize by being your opponent's here and now".

"Hmm" Tara could hear Haou say and noticed the thoughtful look the king was having. "I am sure I have heard of those two..". Tara froze slowly. If Haou knew.. If Haou knew what they had done to her in the first year, she was sure he would..

"I will kill them!" Haou then screamed up, and darkness rose around him. His golden eyes flashed with brute anger "I will destroy them! Rip them piece for piece. No one hurts what belongs to me. No one!". Tara groaned. The king had just seen her memories. This was not good. She needed to do something.

"Haou calm down. It was something who happened in the past, I have forgiven them already. So let's just move on" Tara tried reassure him. Haou hissed.

"I haven't!" He sneered back "And I will destroy them!".

"Haou stop being so possessive over me. You wouldn't do this, if it was Jaden who got bullied". That got the king to send her an evil glare.

"Of course I would" He replied coldly. "You Both belong to me and Yubel!".

"Yeah right" Tara tried again to talk him from this "What if it was Yubel who was hurting either one of us. Would you kill her?".

"Absolutely!" The king surprisingly replied "And she knows it. Now accept this duel, or I will take over and do it for you. I will destroy them!".

Tara bit her lip. Her eyes sent a pledging look at Jaden, but her brother shook his head. He couldn't help her. Haou was too enraged. Yubel couldn't stop him. Tara sighed inside.

"Fine have it your way your majesty" She replied "But I will do the dueling".

Soon Mindy and Jasmine were standing in front of Tara at the duel field. This was a two against one duel. Tara suggested this. Mostly because she could get over with this quicker, and hopefully Mindy and Jasmine would have a chance against her. That and Haou didn't need to destroy more than once. Tara really hoped she could keep the king and his murderous intentions away from this duel until she won.

"I am surprised you accepted" Tara could hear Jasmine say and she turned towards her. "We had heard some rumors, that you fused together with an evil king. If that is true, you properly want payback for what we did to you the first year. Know that Mindy and I are not going easy on you either".

Tara hummed at that and pushed the thought away from Haou, who was agreeing on that payback. If they were here and knew of Haou, were they then here to intentionally get beat up?

"You can do it sis!" She could hear Jaden shout as encouragement "You.. and the king can do it". Tara nodded, knowing full well Jaden also didn't want Haou to truly destroy Mindy and Jasmine here. He hoped she could keep him in cheek.

Tara: 4000 Lp's.

Mindy: 4000 Lp's.

Jasmine: 4000 Lp's.

"I go first" Tara proclaimed and drew.

She looked at her hand and growled inside. This was the worst hand to start with ever! Tara sneered. Thoughts wandered to Haou. They were totally not in sync, and therefore the deck wasn't either. Tara was having two monsters, one of them being Cyber tech Alligator, and the other Clayman. Then 2 useless spells and traps. Really no good start at all.

"I place one monster facedown and end my turn" Tara said, surprising everyone.

"Is that it?" Jasmine questioned "That is the big move you are gonna make pathetic. Mindy show her how it is done. Show her our team work.". Mindy nodded and drew.

"I summon Griggle in att mode" Mindy said and summoned a lv 1 plant type monster with 350 att points. Tara was really staring. And they were saying my move was bad.

"Tara focus, they are not done" Haou replied inside. Tara nodded slightly. Mindy continued her move with the spell "Spell absorption". It was a continuous spell card, who made Mindy's life point's increase with 500 for every spell that got played.

"I activate 'creature swap'. We are gonna swap monsters dear Tara" Mindy said with a sweet smile. Tara growled inside. She got Griggle and Mindy Clayman in def mode.

"Griggle's eff activates" Mindy continued "Because it got sent over to your side of the field, I will receive 3000 life points". Tara's eyes widened in surprise. That means she had 7000. 7500 because of spell absorption who was on her field.

"She has a life points boost deck" Haou said inside her head "Interesting. So sweeter for me to take her down".

Tara sighed deeply. Of course he would think that. Mindy ended her turn with a face down. It was battle royal rules they followed, so neither could attack on their first turn. It was Jasmine's turn now. Tara wondered what kind of deck she was using. Jasmine drew and..

"I think it is time for a change of scenery. I activate 'Magical citadel of Endymion'" she said and the whole place changed into this beautiful magical citadel. Tara was standing on a holographic footbridge with Mindy and Jasmine, but the two other girls were having the citadel in the background.

"I see. Their decks resolves around spells helping each other out" Haou snort out.

He was not impressed one bit. Tara nodded as well. So they powered up each other by using spell cards, and I am sure Jasmine has spell caster's with counters on. The field spell resolves around that. Jasmine continued her turn with playing the spell "Graceful charity" and drew 3 cards, and discarded 2. Her citadel gained a counter, and Mindy 500 more life points. Then she summoned "Apprentice magician" in att mode (lv 2, 400 att, 800 def). Since it was summoned, it's eff activated, placing a counter on the field spell once again. Tara could see two towers in the background confirming the counters on it. Jasmine ended her turn with a face down.

"Our turn, we are so gonna destroy them" Haou sneered inside.

"I don't wanna destroy them" Tara mused back "They are friends..".

"But I want" Haou sneered back "Destroy them Tara!".

Tara bit her lip. Haou's murderous thoughts were running through her head, and she wondered if this was how Haou had kept Jaden under his control in the dark world. By playing on their emotions, or scare them to do what he wanted. Haou was an evil king after all.

"I draw and play 'pot of greed' to draw two cards" Tara said and hoped she got some useful this time.

She needed to believe in the deck. That move made Mindy life points rose up with 500 once again, and a counter to Jasmine. Tara shrugged. So be it. She played another spell "Graceful charity" and discarded two cards in her hand. 500 more life point's to Mindy, and another counter for Jasmine, but at least Tara got some good cards this turn. She activated "Heavy storm' and destroyed all their spell and traps on the field. She had none, so she wasn't so concerned. Jasmine however activated her field spell eff. By removing a counter, it was safe and stayed on the field. However Mindy could at least no longer boost her life points. They were at 9500 right now. Tara continued her move with using "Dark calling" spell card. With it she could fuse 'Burstinatrix' in her hand, with 'Avian' in her grave, to summon "Evil Hero inferno wing". Avian was sent there with 'Graceful charity'. However the materials she used to fuse with, both got removed from the game now. However Tara was not done yet. She sacrificed Mindy's Griggle to summon "Cyber tech alligator" to the field. Tara's Alligator looked very displeased at the evil hero now. Maybe it was because he could feel Tara's distress in actually attacking her friends. Haou's monsters could be rather vicious. Especially since Haou wanted them to destroy right now. Tara played another spell card called "Double attack". By sending a monster to the grave, like Jinzo who is level 6, a lower level monster than Jinzo could attack twice. This made Cyber tech able to attack twice.

"Good, destroy the red haired first" Haou mused in her head "She is the strongest".

"Cyber Tech attack Jasmine" Tara ordered and the alligator complied, attacking and destroying Jasmine's Magicians, dealing her 2100 point of damage.

Jasmine 'apprentice magician' however had another eff. Since it got destroyed in battle, Jasmine could summon another lv 2 spellcaster from her deck. She brought out another 'apprentice magician' in def mode, and got one counter on her citadel. Not that it mattered. With Inferno's piercing damage eff, Jasmine were done for anyway. If she attacked. Tara snort at that.

"Inferno wing attack Mindy" Tara ordered and she could hear Haou hiss angrily inside.

She ignored it however. She wanted them both to survive this round. Inside she also had a silent prayer on that Inferno wing was not hurting her too much. Inferno wing dealt Mindy 100 points of piercing damage, and additional 2000 damage with its eff, and because Clayman had 2000 def points.

"Ahr hot, hot, hot!" Mindy screamed up and tried to extinguish the tiny, mini flame who was burning at her skirt.

Tara sighed relieved inside and made Cyber tech alligator attack her too, and extinguished the flame. Haou appeared angrily beside her, staring coldly at Inferno wing. Apparently he wasn't that surprised that Tara disobeyed him, but that Inferno wing suddenly was, that was a different story.

"Inferno wing, why are you holding back? I want them destroyed" The king yelled angrily, but stopped up when Inferno wing shook it's head. Haou glared at it. "What do you mean you won't?! I want them..".

"She won't, because Tara doesn't like it" Cyber tech replied and pointed at him. "She regards Tara's feelings in this. Something you don't! King!". Haou was taken aback by that. He was staring from the monsters to Tara now.

"I just want a normal duel Haou. I don't want to destroy them. Yeah sure they bullied me in the past, but I am past that" Tara told him inside her head "I don't want to duel and destroy like you did in dark dimension. It was terrible to witness Haou..".

"Tara... I" Haou mused out slowly. He was lost for words for a moment "I want you three safe. Can't forgive and let someone live when they have hurt any of you".

"Well I thank you for that, but you also have to trust Jaden and I's judgement" Tara replied slowly "So when I say I have forgiven them and they won't hurt me again, you just have to trust me, that they won't".

"Hey Tara, hello!" Jasmine yelled suddenly and made Tara return back to this reality and duel "Just don't stand there. Do something, or end your turn already".

"Let's win this Tara" Haou replied. Tara nodded and ended her turn with a face down.

Tara: 4000 Lp's.

Mindy: 4900 Lp's.

Jasmine: 1900 Lp's.

It was Mindy's turn. She drew and surprisingly played the field spell "The Sanctuary in the sky". Tara and Haou both looked puzzled at that.

"Is that part of their plans?" Haou questioned. Tara shrugged. Hopefully it was.

"Mindy you idiot!" Jasmine suddenly yelled up "We talked about this. You shall use this After I summon my Magician, Not Before! You are so destroying my strategies here!".

At that Jasmine's citadel got destroyed because a new field spell got activated. Tara and Haou both sweat dropped at that. Apparently not!

"He, he ups" Mindy said and scratched her hair a little. She was smiling sheepishly. Tara sighed inside. Guess they didn't think things through here. There was no way she would lose to them. It would be embarrassing.

"Um I summon 'Injection fairy lily'" Mindy said and summoned a level 3 fairy carrying a giant syringe appeared on the field. (400 att).

By sacrificing 2000 life points lily gained 3000 att doing the damage step only. Her monster was now stronger and destroyed Tara's Cyber tech alligator. Tara lost 900 life points. Tara just dusted off her clothes. It was not like it hurt that much. Mindy ended her turn with a facedown as well.

"My turn" Jasmine then said and send Mindy an annoyed look.

Apparently she didn't like that their whole strategy had messed up. If Tara knew correctly, Jasmine could have summoned "Endymion, the Master Magician" this round if Mindy hadn't messed up. That had been a powerful foe indeed. Jasmine should only discard 6 counters for her citadel, and she had enough, just before Mindy ruined it. Tara felt rather lucky. However Jasmine began her move. She summoned "Magician Valkyrie" to the field in att mode. Then played the spell "Premature burial", paid 800 lp's and brought back another "Magician Valkyrie". Tara hummed at that. With two of those magician's out, Tara couldn't attack any magician's besides them. She was locked for attack. Jasmine was not done yet however. She also played the equip spell "United as we stand" and gave it to one of her magician Valkyrie, giving it 800 att for every monster on the field. She had 3 monsters, so her Valkyrie had 4000 att. She of course attacked with her monster, at Inferno wing.

"Tara your trap!" Haou said firmly "Or we are done for".

Tara nodded and activated the trap "Defense draw". All battle damage this turn dropped to 0. That and Tara could draw another card from her deck. Sadly that didn't mean Inferno wing was destroyed. Jasmine tsked at that, but ended her turn. She only had one card left.

"My turn, I draw" Tara said and did just that.

She was only having three cards in her hand now. She needed a game changer or she might actually lose. Tiny sparks of darkness revealed that Haou also had drawn with her, sort of, and Tara was staring at the card she had drawn. It was a game chancer alright.

"I activate the spell 'Evil hero wave'" Tara shouted.

By banishing an evil hero in my grave from play, like Evil hero prodigy, who she sent to the grave with 'graceful charity' in her last round, Tara could destroy all the monsters on the field, who wasn't evil heroes, and draw cards equal to the monsters who got destroyed. Meaning she could draw 4 cards now, and those cards were all she needed now. First she played the spell "Monster reborn" to summon Inferno wing back from the grave. Then she used "Dark fusion" to fuse together her "inferno wing" and "Malicious edge" from her hand to form "E.H. Malicious fiend". With 3500 att points.

"So what!" Jasmine uttered "That monster can only knock out one of us".

"I am not done" Tara replied "I also summon 'evil hero infernal gainer' from my hand. See if you can stop me".

Then she attacked them both directly. Mindy and Jasmine had no defenses against those two monsters. Malicious field dropped Mindy's life points to 0, while infernal gainer defeated Jasmine. In the end Tara won the duel.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was looking worriedly at Tara as she began dueling Mindy and Jasmine. He was of course looking forward to it. Dueling was an awesome thing to be doing after all, but Jaden was also happy, Tara actually could settle the score with those two girls who bullied her half of the first year. Jaden just didn't want them destroyed as Haou wanted it. The Slifer red student here was actually rather worried if Tara could keep Haou under control. As Yubel had explained to him, standing between an enraged Haou was not a good idea, unless you had a death wish. Jaden was worried Tara would get possessed or something like that now, because he knew Tara would never hurt any, who at least were innocent. He could feel his sister's distress. However then suddenly it changed. Tara and Haou must have had come up with some kind of agreement, and Jaden sighed relieved when Tara relaxed and now in the end won the duel. He didn't doubt she wouldn't for one minute.

"That was awesome Tara" Jaden said and could see Tara, in a way, smile at him.

Her face expression didn't reveal it, but Jaden knew she was happy that she had won. The other students around them all cheered her on as well. Mindy and Jasmine was lying groaning in a little pain on the ground now though, but when Tara walked over to them and helped them up, they looked like they wasn't beat too badly. They even thanked Tara for having the duel against them, before they rushed off to somewhere. Jaden was sure he heard them mumble something about Atticus and his fan club. Jaden chuckled a little at that. He turned towards the line of students, he still had to beat and figured he needed to pick a new opponent, when Tara suddenly took his hand. He could feel a rush of power run through him, and his eyes changed color to Yubel's heterochromia eyes. Tara's golden color eyes were looking at him, and pictures flashed through his head. He knew he saw what Tara was seeing.

Everything was wrapped around in strange colors. Screams could be heard all around them. He saw obelisk students getting absorbed into an aura of pure darkness, before they disappeared completely.

"What, what is this?" Jaden questioned. He had a hunch they were having some kind of vision. Another scream could be heard, and Jaden saw a familiar face now. Sorano, who was also surrounded in that dark aura, was looking at them both. His face showed true horror. He stretched his hand towards them. It was like he was trying to reach them.

"Jaden, Tara!". Then he disappeared in utter darkness.

Jaden returned to reality soon after. Tara had let go of him, but what he had seen was still running through his mind, while trying to process what just happened.

"Jaden, we need to go" Tara said firmly "Sorano and the others are in danger".

A,N: And cut. Damn found this chapter being very long, so cut where I found it made most sense. Even though the episode doesn't end there. In the next chapter however, I am not completely sure what happens. Jaden and Tara gets a call from Axel and takes off to domino city, but I can't decide if I shall make the next episode, who is mostly Axel dueling Mr. T. in domino. So what do you think as reader. Should I write Axel and his duel or should I skip it and focus more on the twins?p Whatever happens I know it is gonna be an interesting chapter. That is for sure.
