A,N: Here is the next chapter. This might be a little long, but hope you okay with it. If not sent me a comment and I will try making the next chapter shorter. However I have decided to do a tiny review of the last chapter, or a review of what happens in the middle of the next chapter. They do it in the Japanese version, and finds that rather cool. Hope it sounds interesting. Have fun reading.  

Syrus had just arrived where the smoke was coming from, and found a little crater with the twins inside of it. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. However soon tears were shown in his eyes and he rushed over and hugged his best friend. Soon the school was back to normal, Syrus and the gang was assembled in the classroom, and everything seems fine. However in the middle of the night, a weird sort of lightning was shown in the sky, and something feel down from it. A beam of lightning appeared and inside it's shadow was a strange creature. A creature with wings. 

Kaiba's p.o.v.

Time skip. Before the twins arrive on the island.

It was late in the evening and the kaiba mansion in domino city was hit by terrible wetter. Rain and lightning was shown outside, and Seto Kaiba felt rather grateful for being inside. He was sitting in a good armchair near a good warm fire place, and were for once relaxing just a tiny bit, while listening to the rain outside. In his hands he was holding his deck and deck case. Something he hasn't used for a while now. He hadn't had the time to duel anyone, and at the same time, he didn't want to duel anyone. Like the crowd's wannabe duelists. He wondered for a slight moment if he should contact Yugi, or even that idiot to Wheeler, for an all out duel, but dismissed the thought as quick as it had been there. He was never gonna ask. He had his pride. Suddenly a loud crash of lightning could be heard. It almost sounded like it landed outside his mansion, and the CEO's eyes narrowed. That couldn't be the case, could it? Kaiba sighed and got up. He was rather tired and he had a lot of things to do in the morning, so he figured that he needed to go early to bed this evening. He had just gotten up when a knock on the door to this living room could be heard. Kemo walked inside and made a slight bow to the CEO before talking.

"I am sorry sir, but some unexpected guest has arrived" he then said. Kaiba snort.

"Who thinks they can visit me this late?" he then sneered "Dismiss them, and tell them to come back tomorrow at a more appropriate time". Kemo eyed him a little.

"I don't think you want this Mr. Kaiba" he then said "They ordered me to show you this". He was holding up a monster card from the duel monster game. It looked like a female demon. Kaiba's eyes widened.

"Make them comfortable. I will be there in a second" he then replied.

He looked down at his clothes. He was only dressed in a pajamas and slippers. He rushed down to his own room and dressed into his casually antire. At the same time, he wondered why They of all people, was going to visit him, and then this late. Soon he rushed down to one of the other living room's he was having. This was usually used when the took care of guests. It was a plain room with a couch and matching table. Light made by some floor lamps and a lamp in the ceiling. Beside that there were some couple of paintings on the walls and some flower pots. However what he found in this room made his heart skip a beat. Both in joy and shock. In front of him was two teens standing. Two people he honestly didn't think ever would meet at his doorstep this late in the evening. The twins Tara and Jaden Yuki. They had both changed since he last saw them on the footage, when the school disappeared into that other dimension. He had gotten updated on the situation via Pegasus. Therefore he also got some glimpse at the twins, before they was considered missing. However apparently since then they had changed a little. Jaden was still dressed in his slifer red antire, but had replaced his white jeans with a pair of black ones. He had also gotten some inches taller and his hair was longer. Tara was also dressed in her blue obelisk antire, but had added black leggings and gloves to the set. She had also grown some inches, even though she was still a tiny bit shorter than Jaden. Her hair was the same length as usual, but she was having a black strib in the middle, that went from a lock at her forehead and down to the back of her hair. They both turned around when the door to the room opened. They had been looking at the painting just before then. Kaiba eyed them a little and they him. No one said anything at first. Then Jaden took a step forward. He was smiling a smile who didn't go completely up to his eyes.

"So you are our father? Seto Kaiba, the CEO from the kaiba corp" he then questioned "Well it is interesting to finally meet you in person, and not just in flashbacks. Although I must believe it came rather big shock when Tara told me about you". Tara shrugged and walked forward too.

"Jaden behave" she said in a monotone voice. It surprised Kaiba a little. "He is still CEO of a company. Your manners are terrible as always". Jaden eyed her a little.

"Oh Tara easy with the enthusiasm here" he then replied. Kaiba couldn't hear if he actually meant it or if it was sarcastic. "How shall I else address him? Sir? Mr.? He is suppose to be our father". Tara looked at him, but didn't say anything in reply. Kaiba looked a little stunned by that. The twins didn't act like their eagerly self at all.

"What are you two doing here?" Kaiba then said. Maybe more coldly then attended.

"Can't two children visit their father?" Tara questioned in that monotone voice. Then shrugged "Guess he doesn't want us here. Come Jaden". Kaiba sneered a little.

"No that was not what I meant" he said firmly "You two have been missing for over a week now. Then you just appear here out of the blue. I figured the lightning blast was your doing? Where were you?".

"Hmm so we were gone for a week, interesting" Jaden then commented in a carefree tone "Did you hear Tara, our father actually do care". Tara nodded a little.

"But if you really want to know where we were, we were somewhere in between dimensions, where duel monster and humans are one" Jaden then said in a more serious tone "We had no awareness on time at the place. All we know is that we woke up with our guardians hovering over us. After that it took a little while for us to get back to this dimension..". Tara snort.

"Jaden is terrible at teleportation" she then pointed out.

"Geez you didn't have to tell him that" Jaden said offended, but then shrugged "But since we promised that we would visit you, when all this dimension stuff was over, I stopped by here first". Kaiba eyed them a little. He knew they weren't lying, but he couldn't believe they were here right now. Jaden's stomach growled a little. He looked rather embarrassed.

"Um a teleportation makes me use a lot of energy" he then stated "You don't have anything I could eat do you, father?". Tara facepalmed. Kaiba's eyes narrowed. Oh how that boy resembles his uncle. Oh well I could live with Wheeler. I can live with this. He sended eyes at Kemo and the guard nodded.

Soon Kemo returned with some leftovers from the this evening's dinner. Some beef and filet with some sort of sauce. The twins was sitting in the couch and eating like it was their last meal. Kaiba didn't comment on that though. He was sitting in a chair and was looking at them.

"Ah that was delicious" Jaden then proclaimed. Tara dabbed her lip with a napkin and nodded. She was not saying that much.

"So what is your two's true objective" Kaiba then asked. "Surely not here to eat me out of the house?". Jaden hummed a little and looked at his sister.

"Actually there is no hidden motives here" Jaden then said and shrugged "We made a vow to each other, and now we are fulfilling it. Nothing much to it".

"Oh and what is that?" their father questioned firmly. Tara looked at him.

"To forgive and forget" she then said "We forgive you for not being around. We understand your motives now..".

"And we liked to tell you this personally. Face to face" Jaden added.

"We want to be a family again" they then said in unison and Jaden continued "Of course if you don't want us to pop up once in awhile.. we are still gonna do it. You really don't have a choice. Take it as a repentance for all those lost years, we have been missing family contact". Kaiba sended them a cold look.

"So that is your bargains" he then asked "Forcing me to go into your terms. To become a family? You two don't really know how to make good deals now do you?".

"Properly not, but we know that you will never admit to us that you actually care" Jaden then said in a cold voice "My guardian Yubel, funny enough the card you sended me as a kid, her powers makes me able to sense people's thoughts and emotions. I can feel mixed feelings from you father, and before you even ask how that is possible, we changed. A lot of things happened in the other dimension".

"Yes, our souls is now connected to the dark king and Yubel" Tara then said "We did it to be able to fulfil the prophecy. I know, you know about it. You have been following us. Almost as it was stalking. Trying to keep us safe, but we don't need protection anymore. But like I said, we forgive and forget". Kaiba looked pale now.

"I.. I.. I can't believe what I am hearing. You did that because of the prophecy?!" He then said in a shocked tone "Are you even considered human beings any longer?".

"Hmm good question" Jaden said and shrugged "But who really cares. All we care about is to fulfil Yubel and Haou's mission. Our mission. Anything else really doesn't matter. However I think we have been here long enough".

"Yeah Jaden need to teleport us to Da" Tara said and got up. Jaden eyes widened.

"Ahr but can't we just take a ship or plain there?" he then questioned "I just teleported us here". Tara sended him a glare. In the end Jaden sighed.

"3 against one, how fair" he then complained "You are not the one doing the teleportation here". Tara didn't reply him on that, but began walking out of the room. Jaden sighed and followed. He mumbled something about 'training'. Kaiba looked rather shocked at the scene in front of him. Everything was happening to fast here.

"Wait" he then said and made the twins stop up.

"What?" Tara said in that monotone voice "You can't make us spent a night here you know. We have to get back to duel academy". Kaiba clenched his hands. This was not what he ever figured would happen if he ever meet the twins again.

"I can't keep you from whatever you are doing, but.. Kemo get them that" he ordered the staff member. Kemo nodded and soon he returned with two colored duel disks. One red. The other blue. Jaden's eyes widened. Tara's face was emotionless, but she was looking firmly at the duel disk.

"For us?" she questioned and took the blue one "Why?".

"Let's just say it is part of that repentance" he then replied just as coldly "Know that it was never my attention that all of this should happen to you". Suddenly arms were around him and the twins actually hugged him. Jaden was smiling and Tara didn't show any emotion, beside this awkwardly hug, but it still warmed the CEO's heart.

"Thank you father" they then said in unison "You really do care". Kaiba didn't reply on that. Actually he wasn't doing anything right now. Soon the twins let go of him, and before he knew it, they disappeared outside. Kaiba sighed.

"Good luck" he then said.

Syrus's p.o.v.

Back to the present. Sort of.

Syrus was sitting inside his own room, dressed in his blue oberlisk uniform. The school day had ended, and Syrus figured it would be the right time to begin his next letter to his big brother. Syrus was not sure if Zane actually liked the letters he was writing to him, but he figured Zane would complain if he didn't. Syrus had been writing to him, giving him updates on the academy's life. He was not sure his brother actually liked hearing about it, considered that things about Tara wasn't in it, but it was better to read this than doing nothing. Or so Syrus figured. Tara hadn't visited Zane once since her return, and Syrus wondered why. However he was not gonna meddle. This was something Tara and Zane should figure out on their own. Syrus placed the pen down and looked at the letter in front of him.

Dear big brother.

It has been a month since we all have come back to DA. The school has gone back to normal, and my surroundings have really changed. Jim and Axel has returned back to their originally schools, while no one knows what happened to Jesse and Ember. Beside that Jesse got some of his cards back from the twins, they one day just disappeared. Rumor has it, they ran away, or returned back to north academy, without telling anyone. Vice chancellor Bonaparte and his son Marcel have decided to live together now, as a family to retrieve the bond they lost. We won't be seeing them any times soon. Aster has gone back to the pro league. Something about a new pro tournament or something like that. We won't be seeing him any times soon either.Alexis and Blair now both lives in the blue girls dorm, while Tara surprisingly has moved out and now lives in the red dorm with Jaden. No one knows why, but I suspect she wants to live close to her brother. She took over Chazz's apartment, when he left the red dorm. He is now back in the boy's Obelisk blue dorm, together with Atticus and me.Hassleberry has become the ace of the Ra yellow dorm, and he is carrying the expectations of the dorm's students there. Maybe we have all been able to find what is really important to us, because of the incident with Yubel and the other dimension...

Syrus eyes narrowed while reading the text he had been written. It all looked rather good. He walked over on the balcony he was having. One of the privilege of being blue. From there he had a good view over the whole island. His eyes quickly fixated on the red dorm now. Then he sighed deeply. After they had returned, the twins had become rather distant. They hadn't been to any of their classes either. It was like they were keeping themselves away from everyone. Syrus wondered what was wrong, but haven't had the courage to ask any of them. In the background, he noticed Pharaoh, Banner's cat approaching the red dorm. Syrus sighed again and returned back to his room and the letter. Then he quickly wrote one more line. 'Except for those two'.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara took a deep breath and tried to calm down. That was actually doing better than she had thought. She was more relaxed that she had been in a long time. She knew she was getting better, and was actually pleased by the resolves. She tied a little up in the blindfold who was covering her eyes. Then she took a deep breath once again and focused. The darkness swept all around her vision now. That was understandable since she wasn't able to see with the blindfold on. Tara frowned a little.

"Haou is this the right way to do this?" she then asked. Her voice sounded monotone like usual. The king materialize beside her now. As a ghostly spirit.

"Yes, do you know where we are?" the king then asked. Tara looked around.

"The abandoned dorm" Tara then said slowly "In that room Jaden and Alexis dueled Titan if I see correctly".

The king nodded slightly. They were one spirit. The king didn't need to say or do anything. Tara knew what he wanted almost as soon as he was thinking it, but in this case Tara needed him to reassure herself, from the fear who was boiling under her skin. Being in the abandoned dorm made Tara's claustrofobia act up, and even though they were one spirit, Haou wasn't affected by this. Tara on the other hand was.

"Are we gonna stay here for long?" Tara then questioned in that monotone voice. However a slight tone of fear was there, if you listen very, very closely.

"No, we are not gonna stay here for long" the king reassured her "Can you feel it? Take a deep breath and tell me what you can see and feel?".

Tara did as he asked of her. She took a deep breath and tried to focus at the darkness around her, and nothing more. Then she could feel the sensation through her body and her vision became more clear. She knew her eyes turned golden as well. She were connected to Haou, and saw with his eyes now. She looked around. Carefully observing everything and the darkness around her. She stirred a little. She walked over to the middle of the room and bowed down. She let her hand roam at that particular spot on the floor.

"I can feel the power of darkness coming from this spot Haou" she then said "But it is weak. Like whatever happened here happened a long time ago".

"Yes" the king then replied and smiled a tiny bit "You are getting better. I have recently discovered a change in the darkness. I first thought it was something that happened over these couple of days, but as you confirmed it here, this had happened long time ago". Tara was thoughtful for a minute.

"Hmm could Sartorius and the light of destruction be responsible of it?" she then said out loud "I mean the light on our second year could suppress the darkness when they infiltrated the island". Haou shook his head.

"I don't believe so" he then replied "Although the light could suppress it for a time on the island, I would notice the darkness as soon as the light's influence stopped".

"Are you saying there is two different types on darkness around here? On this island" Tara questioned. Haou shrugged a little.

"I don't think so, but they could also be connected" the king then said "You are gonna look more into this Tara. It is your duty as my wessel". Tara rolled with her eyes.

"As you wish your highness" she said in that monotone voice, but a slight annoyings was there. The king ignored it, and they kept searching.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was right now inside his room in the slifer red dorm. He was lying in his bunker bed, with drawn curtains and was doing nothing. Nothing beside enjoying the comfortable darkness who was in his room. That and sleeping. He didn't feel like doing much these days. No dueling, not entering and sleeping class either, no giant red dorm cafeteria feast. Although he did eat once in awhile. The fusion with Haou and Yubel had sat it's prints on them. They have changed, and he knew people would say it hadn't been for the better, but he didn't care. He sensed a presence near him and slowly opened his eyes. He didn't get surprised when he found the light ball of Professor Banner's spirit hovering over his face.

"Jaden, how long are you two gonna stay like this?" Banner then questioned.

"Hmm who knows?" Jaden replied and shrugged.

"What are you doing in the first place?" Banner then questioned.

"I am thinking, and waiting" Jaden then replied in a careless tone. "For my sister's report. Tara told me she would come by today".

Then he pointed at his head, when the ghost looked puzzled at him. He hoped he understood Tara had sent him a telepathic message through their bond. Banner nodded. He had changed to his ghost form now. He was sitting at the other side of Jaden's bed and looked at him.

"Where is Tara then? I couldn't find her in her room this morning" Banner then questioned. Jaden sended him a little smile.

"She is out with Haou somewhere" Jaden then replied "Doing some sort of training I believe. Compared to Yubel, the king is a very strict teacher. That is understandable though. My sister's new found powers are great. The darkness is not something you take likely. It can be your friend as well as your enemy". Banner hummed a little.

"And you are okay with that she is all alone with the king of darkness?" he then questioned. Jaden smirked a little.

"Tara doesn't need me. She didn't want me there either" he then replied "We don't need to depend on each other for everything. Although with that said, I do miss her when she isn't around". He then looked at the ghost once again.

"Professor Banner, you really should stop worrying about us and start thinking about how you can actually pass away" he then said. Banner smiled at him.

"That's alright, I'm comfortable like this" he then replied. Jaden smirked and closed his eyes a little. He could feel the air and everything around him now.

"I've never heard of a ghost who doesn't want to pass away" he then said.

"Jaden you and Tara has changed" Banner then said "You two got reunited with your two guardians in the other dimension, but because of that, you two might end up walking completely different roads now". Jaden hummed a little.

"That might be true" another voice then said. Jaden smiled. He knew she was back, before she even had said anything. "But does that really matter professor Banner?". A loud hissing sound could be heard and Jaden knew the cat Pharaoh had eaten Banner once again. He opened an eye to see Tara pet the pouring cat at her leg.

"Welcome back sis and Haou, any news?" he then said. The king was in spirit form beside Tara, and he was sending Jaden a cold look. He approached him and disappeared soon in front of him. Jaden sighed deeply and got up from the bed.

"I hate when he does that" he then complained "Any news sis?".

Tara tossed him an apple and sat down on the chair at the desk. She was still blindfolded. The room was still to small for her, but her training with the king was going better. She could keep the claustrophobic feelings away for a longer time now. When she was with Jaden, she could almost stay in here all the time, as long as she was blindfolded. But only almost. Jaden could calm her down for some reasons.

"Haou says there is a disturbance in the darkness these days" Tara then said and bit the apple "But we don't know what. By the way Pharaoh has mail for you".

She pointed at the cat who was carrying some sort of envelop. Jaden quickly opened it and found a red cell phone in it. Tara and Jaden looked at each other. Jaden pushed the calling button and pushed the loudspeaker as well.

"What kind of trick is this?" he asked. They could hear a familiar voice speak. Then Jaden said "Is that really true?".

Normal p.o.v.

At duel academy, something was wrong. Some of the students couldn't summon their cards on their duel disks. When they tried, no monster appeared. Soon there was chaos in the card shop, since people were thinking they had brought defect cards. To come to the bottom of this, Sheppard had called upon Alexis and Chazz. Telling them about this fault in their dueling system. However it apparently hasn't happened to neither Chazz, Alexis or the rest of the usual group.

"It is properly because the owner damaged them by treating them badly" Chazz then suggests with a smirk.

The ojama's appeared in the background. They disagreed since Chazz normal scribbled on their cards. His way of showing his love as they called it. At that Chazz yelled at them to disappear. Alexis questioned if it was because the duel disks were defect, but Chancellor Sheppard says that Kaiba corp or industrial illusions denies this. Chazz wonders if the cards themselves is the problem. Sheppard thinks so too. He makes them gather those defect cards, because an engineer would be coming from Industrial illusions to check on them. Then things would go a lot smoother. Alexis and Chazz agrees to this and leaves the office.

"Those two have become very reliable, but they too will soon graduate" the chancellor then says with a smile.

Chazz and Alexis had assembled the usual crew of Syrus, Hassleberry, and the seaweed haired Yusuke Fujiwara from the blue dorm.(That's how he looks like:)

By Alexis infomation, Atticus was not well. He hasn't been that since she told him the truth about being gay. She figured he had got a depression or something. He hasn't left his room much these days, and if he really did, you could hear him mumble something about "What was his name?". Therefore they had left him out of this search. They were talking about who should go to which dorm to collect the defecting cards. In the end the Ra yellow dorm got assigned to Syrus and Hassleberry. They obelisk blue dorm was assigned to Alexis and Yusuke. The others looked at Chazz.

"What would you be doing then Chazz?" Syrus questioned.

"I will go in the computer room and check the system" Chazz replied.

"Then I'll go with you" Yusuke then said "I am used to working with computers".

"Okay, Yusuke. I can check the blue dorms by myself" Alexis then replied.

"Then what about the red dorm?" Hassleberry questioned.

"It's alright. The twins are the only once living in the red dorms" Syrus replied.

"I miss them. We haven't seen the sarge and my dino queen for a while" Hassleberry replied and sighed. Chazz snort a little.

"They properly just need some rest. Let's leave them alone for now" he then said "There is no way they have defect cards anyway". The others nodded. Yusuke looked at the red dorm for a moment, before he left with the others, to do their different duties.

Hassleberry and Syrus were walking towards the yellow dorm, when he looked puzzled at Hassleberry.

"Hey Hassleberry, who was that guy who was beside you on the roof?" he asked.

"Oh you mean Yusuke Fujiwara?" Hassleberry questioned. Syrus nodded.

"Oh yeah Yusuke Fujiwara. Sometimes I forget who he is" Syrus said and felt rather embarrassed that he couldn't remember one of his own classmates.

"Stop joking around soldier" Hassleberry said and grinned "Yusuke have been hanging around with you and the Sarge since you entered this school. Don't tell me you forgot about him?". Syrus grinned sheepishly.

"I do remember now" he then replied.

Chazz and Yusuke had just arrived at the central computer room. Chazz was holding up his Pda to the computer, who also was holding his ID and duel records.

"So your student ID?" Chazz questioned and pointed at the scanning machine. This was a highly advanced system and only people they trusted was allowed in there.

"Ah, I um forgot it today" Yusuke said quickly. He was rather surprised by this.

"What do you mean you forgot it? This is the center of DA. You need your ID to enter." Chazz sneered annoyed. You practically couldn't do much around here without it. Then he looked puzzled at Yusuke "By the way, who are you?". Yusuke's eyes suddenly turned red and made Chazz look into them. Then he smirked.

"Ahr come on Chazz, we have been in school together for three years now" Yusuke then said. Chazz looked a little distant now, but nodded.

"Oh yeah, you are right Yusuke" he said in a distant tone. Yusuke took his Pda.

"Leave this to me. You should go and help out Alexis" he then encouraged and made the scanner check his Pda "It's is a lot of work around the blue dorm by herself".

"Yeah, I guess you are right" Chazz then said in a distant voice began leaving for the blue dorm. Soon Yusuke was alone in the computer central. He looked around to make sure no one was here, before he accessed the computer.

"Master, where are you? The hint to where you are has to be somewhere around here" he then said and began searching for facilities around duel academy. His search stopped at the abandoned dorm.

"Found it! So that's.." however he got interrupted by a bibbing sound and Alexis appeared on the tiny video screen at the keyboard. She looked at Yusuke.

"Yusuke, did you find anything?" she then questioned.

"Nothing unusual" he replied quickly. Alexis then asked him to come to the conference room since they had gathered all the cards. Yusuke nodded and looked at the picture of the abandoned dorm, before he shut the computer down and left towards the conference room.

In the conference room Chazz and the others had gathered all these cards. A giant pile of cards who apparently was defect. They had made list of which card belonged to who. Chazz found all this a big bother. There were so many cards after all. The three ojama's appeared as well, but they found these card odd. However instead of saying anything, they kept quiet. They had been dragged into so many adventures that they wanted to enjoy the school life a little bit longer. Yusuke entered the room.

"What took you so long Yusuke?" Chazz asked annoyed. He didn't remember what Yusuke had done to him last time they were together. "Everything is settled now". Yusuke looked at him. Then he looked at the cards. His eyes widened in shock.

"This is.." he then mumbled. A dark aura was around these cards "Chazz what do you intent to do with these cards?".

"We are gonna put them in a safe place until the engineer from industrial illusions comes of course" Chazz said snort. Yusuke sneered angry.

"That is not enough!" he yelled "We should dispose of these cards right away".

"Dispose?" Chazz questioned confused. Yusuke nodded firmly.

"That's right, those are dangerous cards! We should burn them right away" he then said. The others looked stunned at him.

"What are you talking about soldier?" Hassleberry questioned.

"No matter what kind of cards it is, cards are the soul of a duelist" Alexis said firmly "There is no way we can do something like that". The others nodded in agreement and Yusuke was turned down. He looked rather stirred by that. However the others placed the cards in two suitcases and brought them down to a storage room. Without others knowing, Yusuke was hiding there, and as soon as Alexis and Chazz left, he rushed over to the suitcase and looked at the cards. The aura was still there.

"Those cards has to be disposed of" he then said and his eyes glowed red again.

The fire alarm stated at the school and fire was suddenly appearing in that storage room. Syrus, Alexis and Chazz rushed down there to see the sprinklers wash away the fire, but a lot of damage had been done. Hassleberry rushed also in there with a fire extinguisher and they managed to stop the fire completely. They found all the cards had been damaged quite badly. They couldn't understand what was going on. They wondered if some sort of event was about to happen. What they didn't know was that the cards stirred a little, and the dark aura appeared. However the crew couldn't see it. Soon this dark aura began assembling together and rushed down the corridors of the school. None of the students noticed however, when this dark mist of cards of some sort got outside. It began searching for the one who had damaged them. However at luck so happens two spirits noticed this, and they both rushed to the slifer red dorm.

Yusuke's p.o.v.

Yusuke was rushed through the forest towards the abandoned dorm.

"I.. need to hurry and tell him" he said and took a deep breath "I don't have much time. I am running out of time". He ran faster into the woods. The dark card, or aura however was on his tail. Like a angry wave now that they were out of sight for the students. Yusuke had just arrived at the entrance to the abandoned dorm, when he heard the sound of broken twigs and turned around. The dark cards jumped out of one of the trees and like an angry serpent, he attacked Yusuke. The boy looked shocked at this phenomena, and jumped with athletic strength no human could muster out of the way and out of the cards range. The cards who's dark aura had transformed into serpant form rushed after him, when Yusuke began running away. Sadly Yusuke ended at a steed cliff. He couldn't go that way. The cards quickly cut him off from any escape, by surrounding the place with a dark field barrier. Yusuke was trapped inside it. He couldn't leave or escape.

"Is this the end?" Yusuke questioned. He couldn't die here. He still hadn't found him yet. His master. He needed to find him!

"Oh so this is the guy?" said a voice suddenly and Yusuke looked up. At top of that steep cliff was two people standing. A boy and girl with brownish hair. Beside them was the spirit of a Winged kuriboh and Marshmellow.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara looked down from the cliff to see some sort of darkness, if it even was darkness at all, surrounding this boy she had never seen in her life. However right now that really didn't matter. He was attacked by somebody, some darkness, and as the avatar of darkness, it was her duty to defend people against it. She had been a little surprised when Winged kuriboh and Marshmellow had appeared in the dorm and told them something weird was going on at their school. Without any hesitation, the twins rushed towards the place. Tara could feel the abnormality as soon as she left the dorm, so it was no problem for them to track it. Jaden looked at the two spirit now.

"W. Kuriboh, Marshmellow, please stay up here okay" he then told them "It is too dangerous for you". The two spirits nodded, but they still looked worried. Jaden and Tara both jumped down from the cliff and was standing in between this boy and this new darkness. The boy looked shocked at them.

"You two are.." he began, but Jaden sended him a cold glare.

"You get back. We will talk to you later" he said firmly.

The boy quickly took some cover behind a rock a little away from here. Tara looked at this darkness. She could feel Haou's presence beside her now, and it confirmed what she already suspected. This was not normal darkness. Maybe it was even the disturbings Haou had detected earlier. She wasn't fully sure of that though.

"Why don't you quit hiding and show yourself?" she then asked in her monotone voice "Let's settle this in a duel". She could hear laughing coming from the darkness and it slowly changed into another form.

"I didn't think there would be a human who can trace me" the dark aura then said. It began moving away from the cliff and the twins followed. They were moving so they had space to duel. The twins however was keeping a close eye on this aura.

"We got some mysterious powers as well" Jaden replied them "We can sense people like you who tries to misuse the duel monster cards". The aura looked at them.

"I see.. Indeed, I do sense something strange within you two. The girl is even the avatar of the dark king. I heard tales of him" the aura said and now transformed into a person in a dark suit, had short brown hair and had sunglasses on. If you looked closely this dude's suit resembled the cards he had used. "But I can tell that you are not on our side" . Haou sneered angry, while lifting up his helmet. (this is how he looks like:)

"We will all rather perish than cooperating with you" he said and placed his hands on top of both Tara's and Jaden's head "Especially to someone who misuses the power of darkness". The man tsked.

"Oh how unfortunately" he then said and snort "We have always thought that the king of darkness would join our cause, but the rumors of him being attached to some children apparently are true". Haou snort and let go of the twins again.

"Let me guess, your cause is to destroy or unify the world?" Tara questioned "We have fought so many guys who wanted that. What is so different with you guys?".

"Hmm then as you two wish.. I'll have you perish from this world" the guy said without commenting on Tara's question. A weird shaped duel disk appeared on his arm. "I must remove any obstacle which get's in my way". Tara was about to activate her blue duel disk when Jaden walked in front of her.

"Tara, Haou, leave this one to me" he then said and smiled "Yubel also sends a message. That 'The king shouldn't dirty his own hands' or something like that. I'm the guardian, so I have to protect you Tara. I will make him perish for you".

Tara looked at him and shrugged. She knew half of those words were coming from Yubel, since Jaden never could be that well spoken. But she knew the protect part was surely her brother. Jaden always vowed to protect her after all.

"Beat him quickly" Haou then replied "We don't have all day". Jaden smirked.

"Yes your highness" Jaden said in a mocking tone. "You could ask us more politely you know".

Haou didn't say anything to that matter at all. He just followed Tara who walked over to this boy near the rock and dragged him over to the sidelines. She wanted to keep a close eye on him while Jaden dueled. Jaden and this dude activated their duel disk's and the duel began.

Jaden: 4000 Lp's.

Sunglass guy?: 4000 Lp's.

"So to make the dark avatar and the king perish, I have to deal with you?" the man questioned "I didn't think the king of darkness needed protection".

"They don't" Jaden just replied "But they don't have to take care of likes of you. I am capable of that myself. Prepare to perish". The man grinned.

"You will be the one who perishes boy" he then said "You and your sister will both perish". He drew and summoned "Dark archetype" (lv 4, 1400 att) to the field in att. Then he placed one card facedown and ended his turn. Tara glared at this monster. She had never heard about this one before.

"No matter what kind of monster you have, I will fight and beat it my own way" Jaden then proclaimed and drew. He looked at his cards. Then over at Tara.

"Tara and Haou wanted me to wrap this up, so I have to finish this quickly" he then proclaimed and placed one card face down. He then used polymerisation to fuse Avian and bubbleman into "E.H. Mariner".

"Both of our monsters are equally strong" the man pointed out "So they will both get destroyed". Tara snort. She knew exactly what Jaden was planning.

"To bad, but I won't be using such weak strategy. I'll duel with all my strength until one of us perishes" Jaden said and smirked.

He used the spell "De-fusion" and split mariner into Avian and Bubbleman again. He had now two monsters on his field, but he hadn't even normal summoned yet. He sacrificed his two monsters to summon out "E.H. Neos" to the field. He quickly made Neos attack this sunglass man. However he activated his trap called "Zero Gazer". When a monster is attacked, this card makes his monster's att 0 and he can draw a card from his deck.

"Hmm interesting" Tara commented. She wondered why he was doing that. His archetype got destroyed by Neos and this sunglass dude lost 2500 lp's.

"At that moment I activate Dark archetype's eff" the man then said "When it is destroyed in battle, I can special summon a monster with att equally to the amount of damage I took, and discard an optional amount of monsters, from my hand, so that they equal that level monster I am about to special summon". Tara noticed him discarding two monsters. A level 3 and a level 4, which means he is summoning a lv 7 monster with 2500 att points. He summoned "Reign beaux, Overlord of dark world" to the field. Haou snort a little.

"All that trouble to bring that idiot back" he then said "Jaden beat him once before".

"Correction you beat him Haou" Tara said slowly "You possessed Jaden for a sec there. However he uses a dark world deck. Interesting". Jaden ended his turn. The man drew and activated the spell "Axe of despair" and gave his monster 1000 extra att. Now his monster was stronger than Neos.

"It seems that monster is your ace" the man then commented "Once I have destroyed it, there won't be any monster which can destroy reign".

Tara snort again. If he really thought he could get rid of Neos that quickly, he had things coming. He attacked Neos, but Jaden quickly activated his trap "Hero shield". This shield protected Neos from being destroyed, but Jaden still took all the damage. He lost 1000 life points. When Hero shield was equipped and Neos got attacked, Jaden could remove it and Neos was unharmed. As an added bonus, for every 1000 points of damage, Jaden could draw a card from his deck, which he of course did. The man ended his turn.

Jaden was up, and he drew. Then he smirked a little.

"You'll regret the fact that you couldn't defeat me in your last turn" he then said.

He activated the field spell "Neos space" and Neos gained 500 more att points. Then he activated the spell "Neos force" and equipped it to Neos. With it Neos gained 800 more att points. Now it had more than this man's monster. Jaden attacked Reign Beaux and destroyed his monster. The man lost 300 life points. Jaden was not done yet. Since Neos was equipped with Neos force, when Neos destroyed a monster, the player got damage equally to the monster who got destroyed. So he lost 2500 extra life points witch made this man's life points 0. Neos attacked and the man shattered into those dark cards once again.

"How's that? This is the strength of Neos!" Jaden then said. Tara knew he was trying to teach this enemy not to mess with them nor their friends ever again.

"Good job Jaden" Tara complimented. Even though she didn't sound like that. She gave Jaden a high five. Jaden grinned and slammed his hand at hers.

"Jaden and Tara Yuki, The Yuki twins. This is not over yet" They could then hear a voice say and saw the dark aura a little away from them "This is just the beginning. We'll meet again". Then this weird darkness disappeared. Haou snort at it, and disappeared into Tara once again.

"Thank you Jaden, Tara," this boy then said and walked over to them. The twins turned towards him. Tara eyes narrowed a little. Where did he know their names? This bad guy knew it, but he had heard rumors about Haou, so that makes sense.

"Who are you? Why was this guy chasing you?" Jaden then asked him.

"Come on Jaden, Tara, don't tell me you have forgot about me" the boy then said and smiled and pointed at his face "It's me, Yusuke Fujiwara".

"Yusuke.. Fujiwara?" the twins said in unison and looked puzzled at him.

"That's right. We've been together this whole time" Yusuke then said and his eyes glowed red "Always".

However when this red light disappeared, Jaden and Tara's eye colored had changed. Tara was having Haou's golden eyes, and Jaden was having Yubel's heterochromia eye colors now. One yellow. The other was green. Yusuke looked rather shocked at them now.

"Such a cheap trick won't work on us" The twins said firmly in unison. Then continued asking "Who exactly are you?".

A,N: Well that was the end of that episode. Hope you liked it. In the next chapter is about the twins of course. The have made a critical decision. They are dropping out of the school! At the same time Atticus is beginning to remember. There is a reason why he couldn't remember that he was gay. A traumatic event is really blocking it. Hope that sounds interesting. Oh and Tara is dueling in the next chapter. So look forward to it...
