A,N: Well here is the next chapter. just a little info. In japan it is not unusual that the children are well in charge of the school. They have school president (not on this academy though) and committee's. So not unusual that younger kids makes stuff for their grown up senpai's. although not gonna say the different titles of respect in my story. However please comment on what you think of the chapter.   

Alexis's p.o.v. 

Alexis sighed deeply. Right now she was sitting at her seat inside her classroom. They were having a break. Time had passed by. After the event with Trueman at the abandoned dorm, the life at DA had turned back to normal. Or as normal at it could get for now. After all this island had been in constant danger over the years, and since the twins, and their friends knew Trueman might come back, they knew they weren't out of danger as of yet. However the school life continued like usual. The twins had accepted the others, and was not trying to avoid their friends any longer, but that didn't mean they still weren't distant. They still didn't join any of the classes. (not that Jaden were much in the class in the past. Beside sleeping through them of course) However it annoyed Alexis a little that they weren't here anyway. She missed talking to Tara about girl stuff, (she had something that troubled her mind) and being around Jaden, well just because! She would never in million years admit that she had a crush on that slifer duelist. Not even to herself. Clicking sounds could be heard in the background now. Alexis didn't really pay much attention. 

"Alexis, say cheese!" a voice then suddenly said and a click sound from a camera could be heard. Alexis turned surprised around and saw Blair standing with a camera in front of her. Behind her was Hassleberry and two other students.

"Smile at least a little Alexis" Blair said in an annoyed tone.

"What is this? Photo?" Alexis questioned a little confused.

"We are the graduation album making committee" Blair announced proudly and the others nodded in agreement. Alexis looked stunned at them.

"Graduation album?" she then said and remembered "Ah yes, it is already about that time". Blair nodded eagerly.

"It's for memories so make a brighter face please" she then said and was holding up the camera again. Sadly Alexis wasn't really smiling. Blair sighed. "Really? You're face is not really smiling". Alexis sighed a little.

"Sorry.. it's just..". Hassleberry grinned a little.

"Oh well, there were a lot of things happening soldier, and you had to go through a lot too. Just like my Dino queen Tara" he then reassured her. Alexis looked puzzled at him. She didn't think she went through much right now. However Hassleberry still slammed himself firmly on the chest.

"All right! We younger students are going to do some work and make some memories for you older students" he then said and smiled "As leader of the graduation committee, I have decided we are organizing party soldiers". At that the other students in the classroom lit instantly up at the word 'Party'. They were liking the idea already. Hassleberry smiled proudly.

"So we are gonna make some sweet memories" he then said firmly and grinned like hell "And I know exactly who is gonna be my date for that party..". Alexis noticed him turning a little red, before he turned around on the heel and rushed out of the classroom. This couldn't be good.   

Tara's p.o.v.  

Tara tabbed her fingers at the door frame at her room for the hundredth time. Tara was not sure how many times she had done that, but she was sure it must at least be hundred. She sighed deeply inside. In front of her was Hassleberry standing and was bowing deeply to her.

"Please be my date for this party" he then said in a begging tone and bowed again.

"Why should I?" Tara then said firmly "I am in no mood for a party, and you know I have a boyfriend". Hassleberry looked stunned up at her.

"You do?!" he then questioned "Who? I thought you and Zane broke up?". At that Tara snort a little. She remembered she hadn't told any yet. Only those who were present in the dark world knew. That had been Aster, Dr. Crowler, Jaden and Syrus. That and Zane himself. Tara was not sure, if any of them had told anyone that yet.

"Zane and I are together again" she then told Hassleberry in a firm tone "We ended up together in the dark world before we got back here". At that Hassleberry froze.

"But.. I never seen you two together here my dino queen" he then questioned "You and Jaden never left the red dorm much lately, and with Zane's condition.. I don't believe he has been visiting you either. Are you two really together?". At that Tara tensed a little. It was true that she hadn't seen Zane, since she returned, but she was waiting for the right moment to well see him.

"That is so not true Tara" Haou then suddenly replied inside her head "You are afraid of how your boyfriend would react to the truth".

"Haou, stay out of this!" Tara sneered firmly back at him "This doesn't concern you!". The king snort firmly back at her.

"Oh yes it does Tara" He replied firmly "We are one. The boy has a valued point here". Tara sneered once again inside, wishing he would mind his own business.

"Why?" Haou then said "You, as my wessel need love too. Yubel is agreeing". Tara sneered and cut out the king from her thoughts. She was not sure how long that would hold though. Haou could be just as persistent as she was sometimes.

"Even if I am with Zane or not. I am not going as your date to that party" Tara then said firmly to Hassleberry "I refuse to dance with you or anything of that sort. Partying is really not my thing, Goodbye". She was about to close the door now.

"But, but my dino queen, it is not that kind of party" Hassleberry then quickly yelled "It is a duel party. I was thinking a tag team tournament. A girl and boy pairs up. I was thinking you and me, and the sarge and Alexis maybe? I know how fond he is of her". Tara stopped up. The last event with Alexis and her brother entered her mind now. The highfive Alexis had given him. Tara knew Jaden was down because of it.

"Please think of it my dino queen" Hassleberry then said and gave her an invitation "The party is a week from now. If you don't wanna go with me, that is okay, but at least attend. It makes good graduation memories". Tara snort a little.

"I will think about it" she then said and closed the door between them.

"Oh a duel party. Interesting" She could hear Haou then say once again.

"Haou, Shut up!" Tara yelled instead.   

Alexis's p.o.v.  

"A duel party?" Alexis then questioned and looked at the invite in her hand. She was standing outside at the main gate together with her two friends Mindy and Jasmine. Hassleberry had just handed out the invitations.

"Next week, at the gym" he then said and smiled.

"Wow a duel party" Jasmine said and smiled happily.

"It sounds like fun" Mindy then added. Alexis was not sure what to think herself.

"I would like you Alexis to participate" Hassleberry then said and looked at her "Oh, and also want you to invite Jaden, the sarge too".

"What Jaden? Why me?" Alexis then said questioned.

She was taken a little aback by that. Hassleberry mumbles something about that the twins were the only ones who wasn't in the graduation album, since they couldn't get one picture from them. That and something with Tara turning him down, so he was not setting foot at the red dorm for a while. Before Alexis could say anything in reply, Hassleberry rushed off. Mindy and Jasmine grinned in the background.

"Looks energetic that Hassleberry" Jasmine then said. Mindy nodded.

"Seems that the leader of duel academy might be him" she then replied "So guess us third year student should do well too". Alexis nodded and turned to her friends.

"Now that I am thinking about it, DA kid's school teacher examination is drawing near for you two right?" she then said. Jasmine nodded eagerly.

"Yes, it is next month" she then replied and smiled.

"Alexis you will stay at Duel academy as a researcher right?" Mindy then questioned.

"Ah.. um yes" Alexis said a little hesitatingly, but her friend didn't notice that.

"You indeed are a model student" Jasmine then said happily "I really envy people who're sure about their goals". Mindy giggled a little.

"Oh Jasmine, really" she then said and giggled again. Alexis smiled a halfhearted smile at both of them. They looked so carefree. She just hated lying to them. One of the reasons she wanted to talk to Tara too. She was her best friend and so easy to talk to. That and she knew Tara hadn't decided on her own future yet too.   

Timeskip.  

It was night at the obelisk girl's dorm. Alexis was sitting at her computer inside her room and was looking at pictures from the first year here at duel academy. Pictures of Jaden and Syrus struggle in a friendly fight, while Chumley was trying to break them up. Tara and Alexis crew of girls was standing beside them looking at them. Tara having that firm look at her brother. Another picture where Alexis, Syrus, Chazz in his black outfit and the twins was in it. Tara and Chazz having a argument, while the others were smiling like hell. Next one was them having a watermelon fight at the beach. Then the duel spirit day with Alexis as a harpie, Jaden as god knows what monster and Tara in that combo costume of Cyber tech alligator and Jinzo.

"Times as the first year.. I miss it" Alexis then said and sighed deeply. Thought on the problem she was having, was running through her mind now.   

Flashback.

Alexis was standing inside Chancellor Sheppard's office. He was having something important to discuss with her. Crowler, the vice chancellor was there as well.

"Eh? Studying abroad?" Alexis then said a little surprised.

"Yes. By my personal decision, I have sent a recommendation letter to a Duel College in North America" Sheppard then said and smiled. He was sitting in his chair behind his desk at his office. Just as usual. "If you Alexis Rhodes want to, they can admit you and prepare you to go at any time". Alexis looked a little stunned by that.

"But I already decided to remain here at DA as a researcher" Alexis then said slowly.

"Oh isn't it wonderful" Crowler then said and walked over to her "It is the perfect career for a top obelisk student as yourself Alexis Rhodes. Rather than staying here. It is better to learn as much as possible out there".

"Um yes.." Alexis said a little hesitating. She wasn't sure what to choose any longer.

"Of course being a researcher or studying abroad, it is your decision Alexis" the chancellor then said "There is still time. Think well and give me a good answer". 

Alexis sighed deeply. She still didn't know what she wanted to do. Suddenly she noticed a picture on the pc, where Jaden and his friends were smiling. It was in that famous pose of his when he was saying one of his catchphrases. "That's game!". Alexis couldn't keep herself from smiling at that. I haven't seen this face from that guy recently. Then she sighed deeply.   

Timeskip. The next day.   

Alexis was on her way down to the red dorm. She had decided last night that she would pay the twins a visit. Mostly the slifer red student. Hassleberry had asked her to invite Jaden to the party after all. She was standing in front of the old dorm now. She let those nostalgic feelings run all over the place. It's not like the answers will come out by coming here... The door to Jaden's room opened.

"Jaden my sweetheart, and Tara where are you?" Blair then yelled annoyed. In her hands she was having a camera. Alexis looked surprised at her.

"Blair, wonder what she is doing here?" she then said slowly.  

Tara's p.o.v.  

Tara and her twin brother Jaden was really not around the red dorm. They were sitting at the ocean, at one of the cliff's around Duel academy. They were fishing. Or Jaden was fishing. Tara was sitting with her back leaned up at one of the cliff boulders and was reading a book. Pharaoh, the cat, was lying beside her and leaned into the strokes Tara gave it once in awhile. They were all relaxing. 

"So Tara what are you reading?" Jaden then questioned a little.

"I am studying" Tara replied and smirked. Jaden turned surprised his head.

"You are what? But I thought.." Tara hummed a little and looked up at him.

"That what.. I would stop studying because I ditched classes and hang out with you all the time?" she then replied in an amused tone only Jaden could hear "I actually still study and turn in assignments. I just don't want to go to class".

"Oh how do you get the knowledge.." Jaden began but then stopped up "Wait we have ancient spirits resigning inside of us. Is that..".

"Yep" Tara said slowly "The history assignments is easy. You know how smart I am. The rest is patched up really quickly. Don't you want to study brother? We Graduate in half a year from now". At that Jaden just snort.

"Nope, not gonna happen. You know how lazy I am" he then said and smiled a little. Tara rolled with her eyes. Yep, always lazy, but still an ace duelist. Pharaoh opened his mouth and the light ball of professor Banner came out. The spirit placed himself in human form beside Jaden. Tara looked up for a little while, then continued reading.

"Jaden, Tara, can you play around like this, when odd incidents might happen again?" Banner then questioned.

"Pegasus and Kagemaru are helping us" Jaden then replied and looked concentrated at his fishing pole. "So until Axel brings us new information, we should wait quietly". Banner hummed at that. Then he smiled.

"Your so at ease Jaden" he then replied "Well I wouldn't worry much since it is you. At least one of you is using the time correctly".

At that Banner looked over at Tara and smiled a big smile. Then he flew over to Pharaoh and the cat swallowed his light ball once again. Tara snort a little. Sometimes she wondered what Banner still was doing in this world. He really should pass on already.

"They were at that place" Tara could hear a voice say and turned her head.

"Jaden my sweetheart it was here you were" a new voice, Blair's voice, said "Oh and hi Tara". Tara rolled her eyes. Blair and Alexis had appeared at the cliffside now.

"Jaden, Tara, the pictures for the graduation album" Alexis then said "You haven't taken a single one". Tara shrugged. She hadn't thought about that actually.

"Ah yeah" Jaden replied in a I do not care tone, for both of them. Alexis tsked. She was rather annoyed by Jaden's attitude. She walked over and grabbed him in the collar of his jacket to the twins big surprise.

"Hey! Come over here!" she said firmly and looked at Tara "And you are coming too Tara. There is no but's about it". Tara just nodded. Alexis was scary when she was angry. Even Tara got a little scared, and she was fused with Haou.

"Ah your idiot" Jaden yelled at Alexis "It is dangerous!". Alexis had grabbed and pulled him up in such a surprise, that Jaden was about to trip over the cliff now. In the background Tara could hear the click sound from Blair's camera. That was one interesting picture. Tara couldn't wait to see that one.

"Man she is an interesting girl" Tara could then hear Yubel say. The spirit monster of Jaden's was standing beside her now. Tara wondered what she was doing here. Not that it wasn't normal, but Yubel was not the type to appear in spirit form.

"She is just fitting for my dear Jaden. Not afraid to set him straight" Yubel then continued "He needs that once in awhile". Tara didn't reply, but she was agreeing. They really were a perfect match. Haou appeared as well and nodded. Tara looked at both of the king and Yubel now.

"I dare for you two to begin playing matchmaker" she then said firmly "We can handle this ourselves". Yubel hummed a little.

"I am not so sure about that" Yubel said and grinned "After all if you really could handle it yourself, then you would go to Zane and tell him the truth. Instead of being a coward". Tara sneered angry. She was not a coward.

"Yes you are" Haou then slowly pointed out. Tara sneered. She was about to say something, but Yubel was quicker.

"At least get Jaden and Alexis together" She then said and sighed "He has been down ever since Alexis slammed his cheek. He believes he has no chance with her now. And I refuse to listen to one of his constantly complains any longer".

"Tara come now, we are leaving" Alexis then said and interrupted her talk with the spirits. She had gotten up from the cliff side while dragging Jaden along in a tight grip. Tara nodded and began following them. Haou and Yubel disappeared to who knows where.   

Time skip.  

Before Tara and Jaden knew it, they were standing inside the forest. Alexis and Blair was taking different pictures of them. One with Jaden and Alexis. Another one with Tara and Alexis. One picture where it was suppose to be only Jaden, but Blair came in between tossing herself at Jaden's chest. One where the twins were only on, but since they had a hard time smiling, Alexis hugged them both in surprise and that made an awesome picture in the end. In the end Blair and Alexis looked at the pictures they had taken.

"Alright! They are taken perfectly" Blair then said in a happily tone.

"Blair you may appear in the graduation album though" Alexis pointed out.

"Lucky!" Blair then said and grinned. Tara rolled with her eyes.

"It's done now right?" Jaden questioned in a cold tone. The two girls looked stunned by that. Jaden and Tara both began leaving. However Tara noticed the tense look on her twin's face. He didn't want to spent more time with Alexis than possible.

"Wait" Alexis uttered and made the twins stop up. "It's graduation soon, so why don't you two help out more? Certainly, our relationship became a bit awkward after the incident in the other world. But we're friends who fought together in duel academy for three years, haven't we?".

Tara looked back at Alexis for a little while. Jaden on the other hand continued walking away from them. She could hear Alexis say Jaden's name. Blair rushed over to them both, giving them the invite Hassleberry had already given her. She told Jaden about the party next weekend in the gym. She wanted them both to come. Jaden shrugged a little.

"If we want to" he then replied and looked at Tara "Tara are you coming?".

"In a moment" Tara then replied "I forgot some stuff at my dorm". Jaden looked at her and shrugged. He returned back to the cliff to fish. Tara on the other hand left towards the dorm, while making a call from her Pda.

"Oh Tara, my dino Queen, why you calling?" she could hear Hassleberry say.

"I need your help" Tara just said "I need a chance to hook up Alexis and my brother. In exchange I will be your date for that party". She could hear Hassleberry yell in happiness and quickly was holding the Pda a little away from herself because he was so loud. She could see Hassleberry cry in happiness on the screen as well.

"Oh thank you, thank you, thank you my dino queen. You won't regret it" he then said "Just tell me what I shall do and I do it". Tara snort.

"Well for starters.. stop calling me Dino queen" she said in her monotone voice.   

Normal p.o.v.  

Time skip.   

The week passed quickly and evening for the great party at duel academy was underway. Hassleberry and the other underclassmen had done a great job on the decorations and everything that could be great memories for the third year students. Music was playing in the background. A band, some students who was good at playing instruments, was making good music. Some other students was dressed up as different duel monsters, and all around was tables with delicious food on. Chazz and Syrus were already trying to empty the buffet tables. Some students were taking pictures for Alexis, Mindy and Jasmine. For their own graduation memories. When the pictures was taken, Mindy and Jasmine also quickly took some food on a plate, and slowly began eating. Alexis smiled a little smile. Then she turned towards the entrance once again.

"So, they really doesn't come?" she then questioned slowly "Jaden and his sister Tara?". However what she didn't know was that the twins actually would make an appearance soon.   

"Tara, what's with you today?!" Jaden then questioned puzzled as his sister dragged him through the corridors towards the gym "You never been into parties. Especially not after you and the king fused. So why all of the sudden?". Tara snort coldly.

"Hey I liked parties when I was little" she defended "And Jaden this is our graduation year. I figured we could make some good memories here".

"Yeah but that didn't explain why you went through my clothes and picked the most cleanest set I had" Jaden then complained "What are you not telling me?".

"Jaden it's a party" Tara then said "You shall look the best". Jaden sneered.

"Oh yeah that explains it" he said ironically and turned towards the spirits who were beside them "Then why is it Yubel and Haou are here? I surely don't recall you two being in a party mood". At that Yubel chuckled.

"Ah of course not, but as soon as you are occupied, Haou and I are going on a date" Yubel then told him and grinned. She hugged the king. Haou didn't say anything in reply though. Jaden snort coldly.

"Haha Yubel, like we need babysitting. If you want to go on a date, then go already" He then said firmly. At that Yubel just chuckled.   

Inside the gym, the light had been turned off, which made everyone look up at lit stage where the band had been playing. Hassleberry was now standing there.

"Then let's start today's main program Privates" Hassleberry yelled in the mic he was holding "The tag team pair duel tournament". That got everyone's attention.

"A pair duel tournament?!" Alexis then questioned.

Even Chazz and Syrus were listening. Hassleberry began explaining how this thing works. A team, who was made up of one girl and one boy, would tag duel against other pairs, even though there were different rules than normal. He used a giant tv screen to show them what he meant. Two people will take turns to do a turn and battle the other pairs. However there were only one field, so the combinations with their partner was crucial. As Chazz saw it, there were 4 hands, 2 set decks and one field.

"Now choose a partner and move to the big gym where the duel takes place" Hassleberry then announced. No one knew he had planned this with Tara though.   

The twins had arrived just outside the gate into the party. Tara had pushed Jaden to the side and was straightening Jaden's clothes and hair a little. To Jaden's dismay.

"Tara I look good enough" he complained a little annoyed. Tara just nodded and fixed his hair a little. Then she pushed him towards the gate.

"Now get in there" she then said. Jaden looked puzzled at her.

"But I thought we should go together" he then questioned. Tara shook her head.

"I need to fix myself"she lied. Jaden looked at her.

"I could do that for you" he then replied. Tara snort and pushed him a step forward.

"Just go!" she then said. Jaden mumbled something about that girls were getting weirder and weirder these days. Then he walked towards the party.   

At the gym the boys began their move to get a girl for the tournament. That mostly meant Alexis getting surrounded by boys. She was after all a beauty but also talented duelist. All boys were asking her to be their partner. Even Chazz was there. 

"If there is a girl good enough for pairing up with The Chazz, then you are the one" Chazz then said and kneeled down like a knight "Alexis please be my partner!". However he was interrupted when Syrus tackled him to the ground. He was sitting on Chazz's back now, while looking at Alexis.

"Alexis! Please be my partner!" he then said firmly. Alexis looked a little perplexed.

"Hey! It's me who's pairing up with Alexis" Chazz yelled from the floor. "You should pair up with Jaden instead". At that Syrus was pretty angry. Why should he pair up with a boy?! They began fighting. Alexis sighed deeply.

"Alexis you are really popular" Jasmine then said. Alexis shrugged a little.

"I'll go for a stroll" she then said. Mindy and Jasmine was a little surprised that she didn't want to participate in the tournament. She began leaving towards the exit. However as fate so happens, Jaden walked a little annoyed inside the gym at that moment, and was suddenly standing face to face with Alexis.

"Alexis?!" Jaden then said slowly "What are you..".

"Jaden?!" Alexis said just as puzzled. Then spot light hit both of them.

"What's this? The boy Alexis Rhodes has chosen as her partner is the Sarge Jaden Yuki" Hassleberry then yelled from the stage. "Of course, the strongest pair in the third year is only these two". Everyone was stunned by that. Jaden and Alexis looked around just as confused.

"Alexis what is going on?" Jaden then questioned. Alexis shrugged. She had no idea either. Two arms hit both of them now.

"You are pairs in the tag team tournament" Tara announced behind them with a innocent smirk only Jaden noticed. Her brother's eyes widened.

"Tara, you set me up" he then sneered "This is not fair. Do you think I want..".

"Don't you want to be partner with me?" Alexis then questioned. Jaden froze.

"Um well sure" he then said slowly. He didn't want to hurt Alexis feelings after all, but inside he was cursing Tara. He was gonna get payback one day. The other boys sneered annoyed that Jaden got off with Alexis and turned towards the second most popular girl. That was Tara. Soon she was surrounded by boys as well.

"Tara, please be my partner" Chazz then said "We can win it all. Even over Jaden!".

"No pick me!" Syrus then said "I can be a replacement for my brother". Tara shook instantly her head and walked over and grabbed Hassleberry's arm.

"I have decided on Hassleberry as my partner" she then said. Hassleberry turned red.

"Well aren't I lucky" he then said and grinned. Soon the tournament began.  

Alexis's p.o.v.  

Before Alexis and Jaden knew it, they were down in the big gym together with all the other pairs. There were different fields. Just like at the entrance exam years ago. The pairs was split up in different groups. An A group and a B group. Alexis was happy that Tara and Hassleberry were in the other group. She figured that if Tara and Jaden would battle, it would be rather intense. Jaden looked around.

"Hey, do you know why my sister wanted us paired up?" Jaden then asked.

"I don't know" Alexis then replied "But, we're never made a duel pair until now. Isn't it a bit nice for a change?!". Alexis was secretly hoping Tara had done this so she was able to tell Jaden her feelings. Alexis had after all told Tara that once.

"Well, I'm just going to do my best, no matter what kind of duel it is" Jaden then said. That made Alexis a little annoyed. Jaden sounded like he didn't care. Up at the tribute was Chazz and Syrus looking down on the duel field.

"I cannot accept this!" Chazz sneered "How can the Chazz be ignored?".

"Well, there's no way. There are many more boys than girls in Duel academy" Syrus then replied slowly.   

However, soon the competition started. Everyone got inside on one of the fields to duel their opponents there. Jaden and Alexis just got inside, and found to their surprise, Dorothea and Sheppard there.

"Um Chancellor?" Alexis then questioned puzzled.

"Dorothea? Why are you two participating in a school event?" Jaden then also asked.

"We decided to participate specially for you Yuki twins" Dorothea then said "To make sweet memories for both of you". Sheppard smiled sheepishly.

"Well since Dorothea asked so nicely, I couldn't resist" he then said and looked determined at them. "Don't take it easy on us, Jaden Yuki and Alexis Rhodes". Jaden and Alexis looked both at each other. This was really awkward.

"Um Dorothea?" Syrus questioned from the tribune "I thought she didn't know how to duel?". Chazz hummed as well.

"Although she may have been hiding an unexpected strength" Chazz then said. However Hassleberry announced the tournament for open.   

Jaden and Alexis: 4000 Lp's.

Sheppard and Dorothea: 4000 Lp's.  

Sheppard started off by fusing his two "Cyber Ogre" from his hand into "Cyber Ogre 2". It was a monster with 2600 att. Then he placed one facedown and ended his turn.

"A high level monster with 2600 att on the first turn" Alexis commented "Impressive Chancellor".

It was Alexis turn. She drew. She got the spell "De-fusion". She looked at her hand. This can be used on Jaden's turn. I should summon a monster to guard the opponent's attacks for now. She summoned "Etoile Cyber" in def mode. Then she placed one card face down. It was the card "De-fusion". Then she ended her turn. She looked over Jaden with a smile, hoping he was impressed with her dueling skills. However he was just looking out in the air with a serious expression. That surprised Alexis a little. Normally he would be more excited.

"It is your turn Dorothea" Sheppard then said and moved away from the field.

"Yes you can trust me. Come!" Dorothea said and did a weird pose. "But how do you start?". Sheppard looked a little bewitched now.

"Dorothea, you're supposed to draw a card from your deck" Alexis then told her.

"Oh that's right" Dorothea then said and drew from her deck. She looked at the card she just drew. "This card look really useful. Marshmellow in att mode". That made everyone at the tribune do a anime falldown.

"How's that?" Dorothea then said proudly "It can't be destroyed in battle".

"But, it doesn't have enough att points to beat my monster" Alexis then said slowly.

"Eh, what? It can't beat it?" Dorothea said puzzled "Well it can't be helped. Ending my turn now". Alexis looked rather stunned at her.

"But Cyber ogre 2's attack?" she then questioned. Dorothea looked confused now.

"But it belongs to the chancellor" she then uttered "So he is the only one who can use it". Alexis tried explaining the pair duel's rule, but Dorothea was not listening. It didn't help that Chancellor Sheppard and Dorothea also went all lovey dovey.

"You truly are amazing" Sheppard uttered and was holding Dorothea's hand "What a fresh and bold strategy! I never thought of a strategy like that".

"How sweet of you chancellor" Dorothea then replied with a big smile "I am flattered". Alexis sighed deeply. Maybe it was a good idea she ended her turn.

"It's my move now" Jaden then said and walked over to the field.

"Jaden, it is up to you" Alexis then said and move away from the field. Jaden drew. Surprisingly he didn't even look at the set card Alexis had placed facedown.

"He isn't going to check my facedown card?" She said slowly.

Jaden started of with playing "Polymerization". He fused "Sparkman" and "Necroshade" to form "E. H. Darkbright" in att mode. Alexis smiled. Good, as I expected, Jaden performed a fusion summoning. Jaden made Brightman attack Marshmellow. Dorothea was confused, since Marshmellow couldn't get destroyed in battle. That until Jaden explained she still would take damage since it was in att mode. They lost 1700 life points. Alexis looked at the battle. If Jaden activates my facedown card "De-fusion", he can do additional attacks and we will win. What are you doing Jaden? Hurry up and check the facedown card!

"From my hand, I activate 'De-fusion'" Jaden then said and surprised Alexis. His monster split apart into Sparkman and Necroshade once again. He attacked Marshmellow two more times. Dorothea got so surprised that she was about to faint. Sheppard quickly catched her of course.

"Dorothea!" he said worried and sneered at Jaden "I cannot forgive you for doing this to her Jaden. I will pay you back in the next round". Jaden scratched his hair.

"Um no, your team's life points are already 0" he then said. Sheppard looked rather shocked when he found out he had lost the duel. At the tribute, Syrus and Chazz sighed deeply.

"Chancellor Sheppard and Dorothea" Chazz said and sighed.

"A suicide combo" Syrus then replied. Then they snort at each other. Sheppard was really down that they lost, but Dorothea didn't mind. She was just happy to make some good memories for Jaden. Then they went all lovey dovey once again. Alexis smiled awkwardly once again. So did Jaden.

"Sorry about that, chancellor, Dorothea" he then said and walked away from the field. Alexis looked at him.

"Um Jaden, the face down I placed.." she then began slowly, but stopped herself, when Jaden looked at her. "No it's nothing". Jaden then shrugged.

"See yer in next round then" he replied and walked away. Alexis was standing back and was feeling a little uneasy. Anyway, whether he used my card or the one in his hand, he archived the same result. 

Tara's p.o.v.  

At the other end of the gym, the B group was underway too. Tara and Hassleberry was making progress as well. They had beaten two obelisk pairs now. One with Tara's Jinzo and the other pair with Hassleberry's dark tyranno. Hassleberry smirked after their victories.

"Hehe, we win one after the other" He then proclaimed and grinned. He then looked over at his partner, who hadn't said anything yet. She looked bored.

"Hu, Tara my Queen, what's wrong, you don't look happy" he then said.

"I am happy" Tara then replied slowly in a monotone voice "And now I am angry. I asked you to not call me that". Hassleberry sighed.

"You said I should stop calling you Dino Queen" he then replied "Which I do. You are difficult figuring out, when you sound so monotone". Tara shrugged.

"I can't change that" she just replied "And I am bored. You promised me that Tara and Jaden would get along because of the plan". Hassleberry looked puzzled at her.

"Aren't they that?" he then questioned. Tara shook her head.

"Look there" she replied and pointed at the screen. They could see Jaden and Alexis duel there now. Hassleberry's eyes widened.

"As I expected" He then said "The sarge and Alexis soldier keeps winning too".

"That is not it" Tara replied coldly "Look at how they play". Hassleberry looked puzzled up at the screen. They were watching the duel who was underway now.   

Alexis had summoned "Cyber angel benten" to the field and equipped the spell "Ritual weapon" to it. It gained 1500 att points. She set one card and ended her turn.

"She summoned a monster with 3300 att in her first turn" Tara said.

"Amazingly from soldier Alexis" Hassleberry commented.

Alexis placed a facedown and ended her turn. It was the other team's turn. An obelisk guy and girl. It was the boy's turn. He summoned "Stone statue of aztecs" in def mode. He also equips the spell "mist body" to it as well. Now the monster can't be destroyed by battle. Then he ended his turn. Tara noticed however the hesitation in Alexis face. She turned to Jaden. Something was not right here.

"Jaden, take care of.." she began, but Jaden was already at the field and ignored her.

Tara sneered inside. Was he doing that on purpose? Jaden drew and summoned "Flare scarab" to the field. Then played the spell "Fake hero". He summoned "Neos" from his hand with it. He quickly made them contact fuse into "Flare neos". He then played the spell "Neo space". Neos got 500 more att. He also activated "H-Heated heart". It gave his monster 500 more att points.

"Wow a magic double combo to power up" Hassleberry uttered.

Tara nodded slightly. She had a feeling Jaden was not done yet. Soon that was proved to be true. Jaden activated the spell "Gift of the martyr". With this card he could tribute a monster to the grave, like Alexis monster, so his monster could gain the att points from it. Flare neos now had 5300 att points. Added with that Neos got 400 points for every trap or spell on the field. Flare neos had now 6500 att points.

"6500 att" Hassleberry then said "That and added with H-heated heart, gives piercing damage. He has won in a minute". Tara nodded slightly, but she was not liking this. Jaden could surely have won in a different way that discarding Alexis monster like that. However Jaden attacked and won the duel. His opponent fell to the ground.

"You okay?" Jaden questioned "Sorry about that". Then he turned around and was staring face to face with an angry Alexis now. Tara sighed deeply. This was not good.

"Jaden!" she said firmly in an angry tone. Jaden looked puzzled at her.

"Why are you angry?" he then questioned.

"What did you attend to do? You didn't even check the card I put down before" she then sneered angry "Benten had been powered up by the equip spell, but you sacrificed it as it was nothing!". Jaden snort at that.

"What's wrong with that? We won!" he then replied. Alexis sneered in annoyings.

"That's not okay!" she yelled back "This is a pair duel. You should trust me more as a partner!". Jaden looked firmly at her.

"What are you talking about? I'm just dueling so that we can win 100 %." He then replied "You're the one who should trust me". Tara bit her lip. Not the right thing to say at all. Alexis looked really pissed at him.

"What did you say?!" she then yelled. Jaden looked stunned at her.

"Alexis.." he then said slowly. Then the video to their field got cut and left Hassleberry and Tara without the ending of the fight. Which may have been a good idea. Hassleberry actually looked thrilled now.

"Aha they are fighting" he then said "Now is my chance to beat the Sarge and get the promise you made, Tara my Queen. When they lose, we have a date". Tara stopped up by that. Oh yeah, I promised him that. Oh that is hardly fair that I am helping here. Really smooth move Hassleberry. She began leaving.

"Ahr wait where are you going my Queen?" he then asked her.

"Home, I am leaving" she then replied in a monotone voice.

"But we are in the middle of a tag tournament right now Tara" Hassleberry replied rather stunned "You can't just leave in the middle of it". Tara snort at him.

"Then take Blair as your partner" she then said firmly "I am not helping you in the finals against Jaden. I am not helping you win!". Then she walked quickly away. Time for plan B. My brother and Alexis needs to get hooked up. I have to be a little more creative. 

A,N: Well that was the first part. Lol Tara can be pretty sneaky here. Wonder how her next plan sounds like. Right now it is not going well. Lol. In the next chapter the tournament of course continues. The finals are at work. Blair stands in for Tara in the tournament, and well let's just say you are in for a surprise.
