Previously in the last Gx chapter. Tara and Chazz went to the pro league, to get some insight and special training. Tara as Aster's best friend. Chazz as his assistant. They ended up having a stressed, hard, business life along with their training, but in the end Chazz and Tara still managed both. That until Chazz lost a precious card from a company, who was sponsoring Aster. That caused the pro duelist to retire from the world of the pro's. Tara got sent back to duel academy, and Chazz.. no one knows.

Normal p.o.v.

It was a normal day at a little school in a small town somewhere. The weather was sunny as well as cloudy, and some children were playing outside together with the famous Aster Phoenix. They all seemed to have fun. However as a dark cloud covered the sun, trouble were soon also near for the ex pro league duelist. Close at the entrance to the school, was the Tv producer Mike standing, with an evil smirk on his face. Aster instantly noticed him, and let go of the little girl, he had had been holding hands with while playing with the children. He turned towards Mike.

"You're.." he began slowly. Mike sent him another smirk.

"I looked all over for you Aster" he then said.

Tara's p.o.v.

"So you are really not mad at me?!" Tara questioned and puffed her head under the sheets so she didn't have to face him. She could hear her boyfriend chuckle.

"Do I sound mad to you Tara?!" Zane then said and Tara could feel the sheets got removed from her head "Now stop hiding under there".

Tara sighed a little. She was not sure it sounded like a sigh though, being monotone and all, but at least she knew she was sighing. She was currently inside Zane's hospital room. She had actually slept here on occasions, but since she went back from the pro league, she had been a little hesitating about that. She was rather guilty over that she couldn't live up to Zane's wish about creating his own pro league. After being there herself, Tara was not sure being pro was a career selected for her. Especially since she caused Aster to retire from the pro league. Or that was at least how she felt about it. It had been her bet with the president of the Senrigan company. She caused, indirectly, Aster his job. Now however, she decided to stay over for the night at 'Zane's place' to at least settle things with him. It surprised Tara that Zane was not mad at her.

"But you really want me to help you with that pro league" Tara then said slowly.

"No, I don't want to force it upon you" Zane then replied with a smile and roamed a hand through a lock of her head "Syrus and I can surely handle this ourselves if this makes you uncomfortable". Tara sighed relieved. She placed her head at his lap.

"That is good, because I really don't think the pro league is something for me. I caused Aster to lose his job" she then said. Zane hummed a little.

"That's what beats you up?" he questioned and actually sounded a little proud.

Tara figured it was because Zane had slowly gotten used to her monotone state, and now sort of knew what she was feeling. Tara looked up. His beautiful purple eyes was looking down at her. Then Tara nodded slightly. Zane smiled a little smile.

"Oh Tara, you are really not to blame here" her boyfriend then said "That's the stressful life of the worlds of the pro's. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. After you have lost too many times, you either quit or find another way to get to the top. Either way, you will end up retiring at some point in life. Aster's just happened sooner than expected".

Tara tilted her head a little, and was staring at Zane for a second, without saying anything. Silence uttered between them.

"Are you talking from experience?" she then questioned.

"Maybe" Zane then replied with a smirk and shrugged "But like I said, Aster knew what he was getting himself into, so don't blame yourself".

Tara bit her lip. Then she clenched her fist a little. She knew Zane was right about this. She also knew deep down that Aster didn't blame her either. She didn't know what happened to him or Chazz for that matter. Chazz hasn't shown his face at duel academy after he got fired by Aster. She wondered if he was okay. However at least she knew Aster was okay. She had gotten a letter a day or two ago, from Freya stating Aster was safe and sound. That was always something, but it didn't stop her worry though.

"Tara, it is time to leave" she could hear Haou said and he appeared beside her "The doctors are coming".

Tara sighed deeply inside and nodded. Even though Duel academy had nothing against teens having relationships, even with someone who was considered grown up as Zane, there were a taboo about boys and girls sleeping together. Zane did live at the hospital, but it still was considered Duel academy grounds. She could get expelled if she ever was found in Zane's room outside visit hours. So Tara quickly dressed herself, kissed Zane goodbye, and left through the window in his room.

Tara sighed deeply inside as she walked down the pathway towards the red dorm. She had hoped she could have had a little more time with Zane, before the doctors arrived. Sadly that was not meant to be. Haou was actually surprisingly beside her in spirit form, while following her down to the red dorm. He didn't say anything, but he was still there. Tara was not sure what kind of agreement Haou and Zane had, but she knew they had one. It was pretty easy to see. Every time she spend time with Zane, Haou was never present in the room. He was either staying inside their shared soul or was with Yubel. He only showed if they were having an emergence or if there were something she needed to know. It was the same with Zane. He never questioned if the king was inside the room or not. He only had eyes for her. That she was of course grateful about, but she did wonder why he never asked her about Haou. They were two in here after all. Therefore she came to that conclusion, they must have some kind of deal. That was the only logical solution. She shrugged inside. They could have one if they wanted to. It was not her business anyway. Tara had just arrived at the red dorm, when hell went loose. Or that was how Tara saw it.

"Tara!" she could hear Syrus yell, and him and Hassleberry rushed down to her "Terrible, terrible news!". Then they both gasped for air.

"That is putting it lightly soldier" Hassleberry then said "Tara my dino queen, do you know where the Sarge is?". Tara shrugged. She figured he was sleeping around now.

"He is properly sleeping" Syrus concluded as well and looked at Hassleberry "You wake up Jay, then I will bring Tara to Chazz's common room".

Both of them nodded to each other, and then Tara was dragged to Chazz's common room rather fast. She was pushed down on the sofa in there, while Syrus babble about something he had heard in the news this morning. Tara only understood half of it.

"And then I saw.. I was so surprised, this is a fight in centauries. You just have to see it" he rabbled out. Tara was about to ask what fight, when Hassleberry dragged in here with a groggy Jaden. He got placed beside Tara at the sofa.

"You just got to see this!" Hassleberry then uttered and hit a random bottom on the remote. Syrus also shook Jaden awake. "It has been shown in the news all morning". A newscaster was soon shown in the television. This was apparently breaking news.

"Late last night, a shocking broadcast was shown by the tv dueling producer Mike" informed the newscaster. She looked just as shocked "If it wasn't for Aster Phoenix agreeing to those statements, I wouldn't believe this".

Tara tensed a little. Aster?! What kind of statements?! The newscaster coughed a little.

"You all know that Aster Phoenix has disappeared from the pro circle for a week now" she then said "Apparently this is the reason why".

A clip was shown, that even made Jaden wide awake this morning. The clip took place inside some kind of stadium, where Aster and surprisingly Chazz was present. He was dressed in a black good looking suit, and was having a cold demeanor against Aster.

"I am sick of this Chazz!" Aster then yelled in the clip "I don't like that your popularity is growing day by day!".

"What?!" Chazz questioned in a cold calm tone.

"Duel me!" Aster then sneered out "By betting the retirement of either of us!".

Then sparks were shown between those two and explosions were shown in the stadium as a drama effect. All to show how big event this was. Jaden and Tara was really staring. The view got returned back to the news caster.

"As you can see an epic battle is about to commence soon" she then explained.

"Wait what? Aster and Chazz against each other?!" Jaden then uttered surprised. "I didn't even know Chazz was a hotshot around in the pro circle".

"Neither did I" Tara then said and clenched her hands. This could not be good news.

Chazz's p.o.v.

A little earlier, around the evening.

"What is the meaning of this program?!" Chazz uttered rather shocked and dropped the remote, which made the batteries fall out.

Chazz was still dressed in that black suit Mike had asked him to wear, for a show he was gonna make, but he didn't tell Chazz why. However Chazz had gladly done it. The suit was ten times better, than the Ojama costume. However now watching the part, finding out what Mike actually used the footage as, made him sneer angrily. Not that Chazz wasn't grateful. Mike had taken him in, after he got fired by Aster, and became his manager to his risen in the pro circles, but still. He could at least tell him what he was planning.

"The edits are well made don't you think? It took a lot of money" Mike then replied him and smirked. Chazz clenched his fists angrily.

"Aster had to retire from the pro league because of me!" he then yelled out.

"Don't be so mad. The people wanted to know the truth about Aster's retirement. I just took advantage of that" Mike then replied. Chazz sighed deeply.

"Has Aster been found?" he then questioned.

"We are looking for him right now. Just leave the matter to me" Mike replied slowly and looked out of the window in the penthouse they were staying in at. "Indeed it was unfortunate that you lost the card, but you are a victim as well. There's no need for you to feel bad for Aster".

Mike then smiled and guided him out on the roof terrace they were having. Mike leaned down on the edge there, where they could see a crowd of people, fans Chazz knew, was holding up banners with texts as "Ojama king" and other stuff. They were all here in hope of having a glimpse of Chazz here.

"They would gladly scramble for a piece of trash you drop from here" Mike then said and smirked "This is the view for the one who seized success. Just enjoy that for now".

He tapped Chazz's shoulder and left while laughing out loud. Chazz sighed deeply inside. He might as well enjoy this while it lasted.

Time skip.

Days passed. Chazz was getting more star fame every day. Chazz figured it was because of his supposedly match against Aster. He was not that famous after all. However Mike had arranged a handshake event for all the fans who wanted to great 'the great Ojama king' as he was called. Therefore Chazz was dressed in his Ojama yellow costume, while handshaking children and fans. He couldn't believe how many there were. His hand was already getting numb, and there were a giant line. For once in his life, Chazz really could understand Aster and his stressed pro-life.

"Good luck against Aster" a kid then said and wanted to handshake his hand, just like all the other fans had done. Chazz kept his exhausting in the back of his head and smiled a smile, Chazz was sure Aster would be proud of.

"Thank you" he said and shook the kid's hand.

Late in the evening, at the terrace on the roof, Chazz was training. Or he was trying to train. He was dressed in a yellow jogging suit with Ojama King on the back, and was trying to draw cards from his duel disk. Sadly it didn't go so well. His hand was still numb after all those handshakes, and he had a hard time holding on to the cards. He knew he never could get up to Aster's level. Chazz sighed and quit the training for today. Instead he decided to go for a walk. He wandered around endlessly with no target whatsoever, so in the end he ended in front of the old warehouse, he had been living at, when he was Aster's assistance. He decided to go in there and take a look. The warehouse was of course empty, but the lightbulb was still working. Chazz sighed deeply, while looking at all those empty shelves in here. Aster, where did you go? Chazz sighed again. He wished he knew. Suddenly he noticed an envelope on the sofa, he used to sleep on in here. Chazz of course took it. It was addressed to him after all. He wondered what this was all about. He opened the envelope, and read the letter in there. His eyes then widened.

The next day in a small town, Chazz was hiding a little far away with a pair of binoculars in his hands. He was dressed in his black suit of course, while making the binoculars zoom in on a particular school and pro duelist there. Chazz could see Aster there while playing with a herd of kids there.

"Aster!" Chazz then uttered. He was there, just as the note described.

"Aster donated most of his fight money to this school. For the kids who don't have relatives just like himself" a voice then said behind him. Chazz turned around to see Freya standing there behind him.

"Freya, so you gave me the letter?" he questioned. Freya nodded.

"Yes. Just so you know, Aster lives at my place for the time being, but he can't stay there forever" she then said and sighed "He needs to get back to the pro circle. However I figured you wanted to know the truth".

"The truth?" Chazz questioned "What truth?". Freya took up some pictures from her pocket and showed Chazz them.

"Take a look at this" she then said and gave him them "This was taken on the night the card disappeared, by the security camera across the warehouse".

Chazz eyes widened surprised. He saw Mike on those pictures. Where he entered the warehouse and left with the suitcase a little while later.

"The card was stolen by Mike" Freya then also confirmed.

"That can't be!" Chazz then uttered rather shocked.

"You're just being used" Freya said and sighed "Mike has threatened to crush this school, and is planning to make you and Aster fight".

Chazz clenched his fists a little. He thanked Freya for the information. He wanted to see for himself, if this was true.

Surprisingly Chazz didn't have to do much, to make himself realize that Freya's words had indeed been true. Next day, when him and Mike was talking about his schedule, Mike revealed that he should duel Aster soon. Chazz knew this had been on their topics. With all this commercial on the television, it really wasn't a surprise. What did surprise him, was that it was planned this next weekend. He was not ready to take on such a good duelist as Aster.

"What?! I have to duel Aster?" Chazz uttered and sounded surprise.

"That's right. It's going to be at duel academy" Mike then told him. Chazz looked away a little. He was holding an Ojama teddy bear, for his commercial stuff. He couldn't believe this. Was Mike really pulling the strings here?!

"What's wrong?" Mike questioned "Aren't you happy that Aster is found?".

"It's nothing" Chazz replied slowly "I'm just a little surprised that's all".

"I see. It's about time you got beyond the underdog character and become an entertainer" Mike then said with a smirk. Chazz flinched at that.

"Don't say.. you're not planning to make Aster lose on purpose are you?" He then questioned. At that Mike actually smirked again. ¨

"Of course I am" he then replied "There's no way you can beat Aster on your own".

"Alright, but I can't screw this up" Chazz then said and clenched around the Ojama teddy bear in his hands "I want you to give me directions on the day of the duel".

"You've grown to become very understanding" Mike then replied with that smirk. Chazz found it rather evil now.

"Well yeah" Chazz then replied, but deep inside he sneered angrily.

This was all the proof he needed to know that Mike indeed was the one to blame here. He needed to do something here. He just didn't know what.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Time skip. On the day the match begins.

Jaden sighed deeply, while looking up at the ceiling in his bunker bed. He couldn't believe how times flies. He couldn't believe that Aster and Chazz suddenly should have a match between each other. Jaden could still remember his match with Chazz after his supposed training by Aster. He had been good opponent, despite his lack towards the end. Tara hadn't told him much about it, but every time he asked into it, Tara was having this destressed, stressed expression. Her and Chazz apparently had been working hard. Now considered the match up with Chazz and Aster, Tara had been convinced there were something behind it. She just didn't know what. She also couldn't do much about this. However since she believed that, Jaden of course did as well. He never doubted his sister for a second. His thoughts went to his match with Chazz again. Now that he thought about it, why did Chazz do that stupid move in the end of the battle? Was he really only making attentions towards himself, or what there more too it? Jaden sighed again. Then he shrugged. He might never know anyway. He yawned a little. He was a little tired. Maybe he should sleep for a while. He had just decided that, when he heard sounds outside. Voices calling his name.

"Jaden! Hurry up!" he could hear Syrus yell outside.

"Yeah or you will miss the duel Sarge" Hassleberry then added.

Jaden sighed. He had totally forgotten that the match was happening today. Not that he wanted to go though. He got out of the bunk bed and greeted his friends outside the dorm.

"I'll think I pass, so don't mind me" Jaden then replied "You can ask Tara to go if you like". Hassleberry sighed deeply now.

"She won't go! My dino queen won't go!" he then uttered "She feels it is too crowded. That and she has no reason to be going". Jaden hummed a little. If he knew Tara, then she was properly beat up about that Aster might retire soon.

"If you really don't wanna go, then we will go ahead" Syrus then said "See yer later Jay".

Then he waved around, and him and Hassleberry turned around and ran towards the school. Jaden smiled half-heartily at them. Then he walked inside his dorm room. He climbed into his bunk bed again. He wanted to sleep a little more. However what he didn't know was that there were someone inside his room though. Pharaoh did notice though. He hissed angrily.

"Ahr Pharaoh, be quiet!" Jaden said in annoying's and tried covering his ears.

That until he heard someone hiss in pain. Apparently Pharaoh had attacked them with his claws. Jaden of course heard that and stuck his head out of the bunk bed. He found Chazz up on the beams at the ceiling.

"Chazz what are you..?".

"Jaden. This is a request of a life time. You and your dorky sister is the only ones I can depend on" Chazz then interrupted. Jaden looked puzzled at him.

"You'll have to tell me the request first" Jaden then implied. Chazz sighed and nodded. He then began explaining. Jaden listened carefully to the story. He had to tell Tara this in a minute as well. When he was done, Jaden hummed a little.

"Interesting. I don't see why we shouldn't be able to" he then replied and shrugged "This could also be a chance for Tara to redeem herself".

Chazz nodded eagerly. However he had to leave right after. He had his match with Aster after all. Jaden nodded. He understood, and as soon as Chazz had left, Jaden quickly contacted Tara.

"Hey Tara. I have some interesting stuff to share with you" he then said through their shared bond.

Aster's p.o.v.

Aster glared coldly over at the other side of the duel arena, they were using here at duel academy. It was filled with many, many fans and students, who wanted to see this duel. Aster however, was not inside the arena as of yet. They should get introduced first, but from the entrance hall, he could still glare at the other side of the duel field, where he was supposed to duel Chazz. Chazz Princeton! Aster felt pretty angry and annoyed here. He had after all let Chazz in. He had shown him the pro league, and this was how he was gonna repay him. By making him retire and ally himself with a guy like Mike! Aster has known many shady characters doing his life. He had after all captured many criminals during his life time, but he never thought Chazz would end as one of those tricksters. Those cheaters! He had shown so much promise. Just like Tara had. Aster had a feeling, this event with the president of Senrigan group had scared Tara from even entering the pro league now. That hadn't been his plan at all.

"Sorry for the wait" the commentator then announced "Now for today's main event. The special duel of fate. First up we have super entertainer Ojama King!".

At that Chazz jumped up on his side of the duel field, dressed in a giant Ojama yellow costume. He was waving at the crowd. Aster only glared at him.

"And his opponent is, a duelist who has his pro career on the line in this duel" The commentator then yelled "The nobleman of the duel world. Aster Phoenix!".

Aster walked out the hallway and entered the duel field as well. He had a duel disk ready on his arm, as well as an earpiece in his ear, so he could hear what Mike had to say. Aster still felt rather annoyed that Mike had blackmailed him into this. However for the sake of that school, Aster gladly tossed away his duel career. What he didn't know was that Chazz also had an earpiece on inside his suit.

"Can you hear me?" Mike then said in the earpiece "Aster, give it all you got, until I give you the order". Aster sneered inside and looked over at Chazz.

"So you've dropped this low Chazz?!" he then uttered in a low voice. No one else besides Chazz could hear him. Chazz however didn't reply him.

"The duel of fate between the 2 who had a teacher, student relationship, will now begin" the commentator then said and the crowd went wild. Aster and Chazz both activated their duel disks, and the duel now began.

Chazz: 4000 Lp's.

Aster: 4000 Lp's.

Aster started off. He drew and activated his field spell "Clock tower prison". The giant clock tower, who resembled big ben appeared all around them now. Chazz looked rather stunned around. Aster placed one card facedown and activated the spell "D-spirit". If he controlled no monsters, this card allowed him to special summon a lv 4 or below destiny hero monster from his hand. Aster chose "D.H Dread servant" who was lv 3 with 400 att and 700 def. Since it was successfully summoned, Aster could place a clock counter on his field spell, because of its special eff. Then he summoned "D.H. Diamond dude" in att mode. (1400 att) He of course activated his eff. He could flip the top card on his deck, and if it was a normal spell card, he could sent it to the grave and activate it on his next turn. Luckily it was the spell "Destiny draw", which he then sent to the grave. He then ended his turn. It was now Chazz's turn. Not that Aster figured he could do much, since he had resorted to cheating together with Mike. However Chazz drew and because it was Chazz' standby phase, Aster's field spell gained another counter. Chazz however didn't seem faced. He normal summoned "Masked dragon" with 1400 att in att mode. He attacked Aster's diamond dude, and since they were equally strong, they both got destroyed. However because of Chazz's masked dragon eff, he could now summon yet another masked dragon. Chazz of course attacked with it. His target was Aster's dread servant. Aster would have taken major damage, if it wasn't for his "Eternal dread" trap card. With it he could place two more counters on the field spell. Since Aster now had 4 counters, Aster no longer took battle damage, even though Dread servant was in att mode when it got destroyed. And that was not all. Since Dread servant got destroyed by battle and sent to the grave, Aster could now destroy a spell on the field. Like his clock tower prison. Since it was destroyed with 4 counters on, Aster could now summon "D.H. Dread master" to the field. Dread master's eff activated, making Aster revive two destiny hero monsters like Diamond dude and dread servant, which made Dread master's att 1800. He had as many att points as the destiny heroes on his field. Chazz sneered in annoying's and placed 3 face down's and ended his turn.

"My turn!" Aster then said and drew.

Since it was his turn, the spell "Destiny draw" in his grave activated. He enabled him to draw two more cards. He then summons "D.H. celestial" to the field in att mode (1600 att). Since a new hero got summoned Aster's Dread master gained it's att points and had 3400 att points.

"Amazing" Syrus uttered from the tribune.

"Only Aster can do that" Hassleberry said in an amassed tone.

Aster continued his turn with an attack. He made Dread master attack and destroy "Masked dragon", giving Chazz 2000 life point damage. Since Masked dragon was destroyed, Chazz could summon another one from his deck in def mode. Aster attacked that one with his diamond dude. Chazz summoned another dragon to the field with masked dragon's eff. Like "Armed dragon lv 3" in def mode. Aster however destroyed it with Destiny hero celestial.

"Now you no longer have any monsters" Aster then told Chazz and smirked "Dread servant direct attack".

Chazz lost additionally 400 life. Chazz sneered and activated his continuous trap "Direct border". Since he lost att from a monster with 1000 or less att points, he could draw a card, and as long as this remained on the field, monsters from both players side, couldn't att with monsters that had 1000 or more att points, can't attack directly. Aster smirked at him.

"How about you start striking back Chazz?" he then questioned. Aster placed one card facedown and ended his turn.

Tara's p.o.v.

Around the same time.

Tara and Jaden had both snuck down to the harbor, to Mike's boat. It was that request Chazz wanted them to do. To steal that card back from him. There were many boats and helicopters down here. After all many wanted to see Aster and Chazz's duel. However the twins easily spotted Mike's boat. How could they not when there were a giant 'Ojama king' motive on his boat? Tara sneered determined inside. This time she will get that card, and make sure Aster shouldn't retire from the pro league.

"Can you see any guards?" Tara then asked Jaden through their bond.

"No, either this Mike was pretty overconfident, or an Idiot" Jaden replied. Tara nodded. She figured he actually were both things right now. She did remember him from the visits at Aster's penthouse. She clenched her fists.

"Then let's go!" She said firmly.

It was easier talking this way, since they were sneaking in, and this way guards or other people couldn't hear them talking. They crept through the hallways, and came across Mike's suit down there. The twins nodded to each other and Jaden grabbed the doorknob. He looked rather surprised when the door opened easily. It was not locked or anything. Tara looked rather suspiciously at it, but she made a sign for Jaden to continue. Her brother nodded and walked inside the room. Tara soon followed. Darkness of course meet them. That came as no surprise. They were sneaking in after all. However Tara couldn't quite shake the feeling that something was wrong. This darkness felt wrong. Then a sensation was running through her. There were someone in here.

"Jaden, watch out!" Tara yelled to him, and her brother quickly intercepted the blow from a hand who stroke through the darkness. Jaden easily caught the hand and locked the attacker, so they couldn't escape.

"What is the meaning of this?" he then questioned the attacker, who happens to be a female. A female with long blond hair, who Tara instantly recognized.

"Freya? What are you doing here?" Tara then said and made herself noticeable from the light at the doorstep. Freya looked stunned at Tara.

"Tara wha.? Wait if Tara is here, you must be her brother Jaden Yuki" Freya then concluded.

It was hard to see in the dark in here. At least full body view. Especially since Tara was here. She instantly made the darkness work for their favor. However Tara had a hunch, Freya was the reason there were no guards around here. She was also dressed in a black training suit, so she could be one with the darkness.

"Who is she Tara?" Jaden then said. He didn't let go of Freya, before he was sure she did them no harm. He was much more suspicious after he fused with Yubel.

"Freya Lockhart, member of Senrigan group who sponsors Aster. She is also his girlfriend" Tara replied and looked at Freya. Jaden hummed a let go of her.

"Freya eh? Tara told me about you, when she got home" he then said "You and Aster worked her hard didn't you? And why do you want to be Aster's girlfriend?".

"Jaden, this is really not the time to discuss this" Tara said firmly and looked at Freya "I believe you and our goals are the same. Did you find the card?".

"No, sadly not" Freya said and shook her head "If it is not here, Mike must have it".

"Oh that is troublesome" Jaden said and hummed "But we'll just have to do something about that. Tara do you have any plans?".

Tara rolled her eyes. Why was her twin always counting on her for plans? Not that she didn't have one but still. Tara sighed deeply inside. Jaden really had that much fate in her.

"I have a plan" she then said and began walking out of the room "How does plan F, sound to you?". Jaden eyes widened. Then he was having a bright smile on his lips.

"Oho, that is one of the fun ones" he then said and followed after Tara.

Chazz's p.o.v.

Chazz glared annoyed back at Aster. This duel he was having against the pro duelist, was not easy matter at all. Aster was good. Chazz kinda figured that, but he hadn't believed he was that good. He sneered a little inside. Certainly, it is not easy to stalling for time against Aster. I have to strike back. Chazz looked at the cards in his hands. Maybe this strategy would work. He drew and summoned "Ojama yellow" in att mode. The little spirit looked rather scared now.

"Wait, in att mode?!" It uttered. Chazz ignored it as usual.

He activated the trap "Level soul". By sacrificing a monster on the field, and removing a level monster from his grave, he could special summon "Armed dragon lv 5" to the field from deck or hand, in att mode. (2400 att) Ojama yellow didn't look very happy when Chazz sacrificed it. Chazz then activated the spell "Level copy" which allowed him to make a copy of his armed dragon. He now had two of them on the field. They of course quickly engaged in battle. Armed dragon Nb. 1 attacked Aster's dread servant, which costed him some major points. He lost 2000 life points. Then armed dragon Nb 2 attacked and destroyed Diamond dude. Aster lost 1000 more life points. He was only having 1000 life points to his name. Chazz tossed down a facedown and ended his turn. Since he did, his two armed dragon's evolved into "Armed dragon lv 7". They were having 2800 att points. Aster looked pretty impressed at the dragons.

"Two armed dragon level 7. You've become a worthy of defeating" he then said.

"That's enough Aster" Chazz and Aster could both hear in their earpiece. Mike was talking to them, or in this case Aster. "The serious duel is over. Aster I must have you to suffer a humiliating defeat".

Chazz could see Aster clench his fists. Chazz knew full well that Aster couldn't do a thing against that, since he was blackmailed into this. Chazz bit his lip in annoying's. What is taking the Yuki twins so long?!

He had just said that, when the light went off on the whole duel field. Everyone, including Mike was looking around to see what was going on. He didn't notice however that someone was sneaking up on him, and banged a paper bag over his head. Soon Mike let loud scream of laughter. Everyone could hear his voice in the tribune. Then the light got turned out again. Everyone saw Mike who suddenly was tossing all his clothes of, while trying to scratch himself all over. Everyone was rather stunned seeing the tv producer in only top and underpants. He was still scratching himself. Chazz however noticed a necklace with a card around his neck. Tara and Jaden was standing proudly beside him together with Pharaoh, the cat. Jaden was holding the destroyed paper bag in his hand.

"Tara? Jaden?" Aster questioned puzzled.

"You two made it in time" Chazz uttered relieved. Jaden grinned a little.

"The power of Pharaoh's fleas is outstanding" he then said with a smile.

"You, you're, wait fleas?" Mike uttered and laughed again. He couldn't keep himself from rubbing. Tara snort annoyed and grabbed the card around his neck.

"I'll have that back" Tara then said and took the card out from the container in the necklace.

Mike looked rather horrified, and tried grabbing it, but the fleas got the best of him once again. Tara rolled her eyes and focused instead on the tribune at the top of stairs. She was holding up the card so everyone could see. Chazz turned around to see Freya and some man with a goatee and eyepatch.

"This is it right?" Tara then yelled "The card you were searching for".

"Ah president Costello" Mike uttered in a scared tone. The president glared at him.

"Mike, why do you have that card?" he then said firmly "Let me hear your explanation". He had just said that when three really well build bodyguards was cutting off his escape road.

"What's going on?" Syrus questioned. A lot of other people were questioning this as well. Tara jumped up on the duel field so everyone could see her.

"Thanks to this guy stealing the final D card, Aster had no choice but to retire from the pro league" she then said loudly in her monotone voice and pointed at Mike.

The crowd got rather shocked by that. Some yelled how awful it was. Chazz noticed the president and Tara locking eyes, before the president nodded.

"Aster here!" Tara then said and tossed Aster the card. He looked stunned at it.

"You've giving this to me?" Aster questioned and looked at the president.

"The card is back, then there no longer is a reason for you to retire" the president then replied with a smile. Aster couldn't believe what he was hearing. He turned grateful over at to Tara and Jaden, who now also was standing on the duel field.

"Thanks Tara, but since are you able to handle all these people in here?" he then questioned.

Tara suddenly froze and looked around in the arena. Chazz had a feeling she had been so focused on getting the card and clear Aster's name, that she hadn't noticed all the people in here. She turned completely pale and quickly rushed out of the arena. Chazz could hear Jaden sigh in the background now. In the meantime the three bodyguards were escorting Mike out. Properly escorting him to prison or something for stealing. The TV producer didn't like that however.

"Damn, I won't go down alone" he then sneered and pointed at Chazz now. "Chazz, I'll drag you down along with me. Listen up everyone! Ojama king has been swindling everyone with me from the very beginning. That's right Ojama king, why don't you say something? You deserve the same punishment as me!".

Chazz could hear Mike chuckle darkly in the background. Chazz sighed inside. He had a hunch this would happen, but he didn't regret a thing.

"I did.." he began explaining, but Jaden then suddenly grabbed him.

"You! You were swindling!" he then yelled in his face "Then what?! You were pretending to be weak just to get some laughs, even though you were actually strong?". Chazz looked puzzled at him. What was he trying to say here?

"Hold on. Is it swindling for a strong guy to pretend to be weak?" Jaden then wondered "Then Ojama king, prove to us that today's duel isn't swindle! Show us the truly strong you!".

At that people at the tribune was yelling in agreement. They wanted to know how strong he really was without swindle. Chazz couldn't believe what he was hearing. Mike couldn't either. Jaden smirked at him.

"Even without your cheap tricks, Chazz is already a great star" Jaden then explained to Mike. Mike sneered in annoying's as he was dragged out from the arena carrying his clothes. Chazz closed his eyes. He couldn't believe he got a second chance.

"That's right, I'm not Ojama king!" Chazz then uttered and began tossing his Ojama suit away from himself. He was now dressed in his usual black attire. "I'm, I'm The Chazz!".

The crowd now yelled "The Chazz", and soon changed to his catchphrase "Chazz it up, Chazz it up!". Jaden jumped down from the tribune, Chazz figured he was going after Tara, and soon there were only Chazz and Aster back on the field.

"Our true duel starts from here" Aster then announced with a smile. "I won't hold back!". Chazz nodded eagerly. He was not holding back either. The duel continued.

Aster continued his turn and drew. Then he summoned "D.H. defender" in def mode. Then he activated a monster eff. By sacrificing three destiny heroes on the field, like Dread master, Celestial and defender, to summon "D.H. Plasma" to the field in att mode. (1900 att) Aster of course activated it's other eff. It could absorb one monster on the opponent's field, and gained half of their att points. He took one of Chazz's armed dragon's and gained 1400 att. (1900-3300) Then Aster activated his trap "D-chain", who became an equip card and gave his plasma 500 additionally att points. (3300-3800) When a monster with D-chain attacks, and destroys an monster, the owner of that card, gets 500 points of damage. Aster attacks and destroys Chazz's armed dragon lv 7, leaving him only with 600. Because of D-chain Chazz also lost 500 life point, which made his life points hit 100. Chazz then activates the quick spell "D-Acceleration". By destroying all equip cards on plasma, that was armed dragon level 7 and D-chain, and halve the original att points (1900-950), Plasma could attack again. If this attack succeed, Chazz would lose the duel. Luckily Chazz was ready with a trap called "Level bond". By letting your opponent draw two card, Chazz could now special summon a level monster from the grave, and ignore their usual summoning conditions. So Chazz summoned "Armed dragon lv 7".

"Now you can't attack me directly" Chazz then said and smirked.

"But I still have final D" Aster then said confidentially.

He activated the magic card "Polymerization" and fused his dogma in his hand, together with Plasma on his field. He could now fusion summon "Destiny end Dragoon". It was a lv 10 monster with 3000 att points. Chazz was staring. This was the final destiny card, he got from the president. Chazz smirked at his and had crossed arms now.

"Turn end. So what will you do now Chazz?" the pro duelist questioned.

Chazz snort and drew. He would show him. He started off by evolving his armed dragon into "Armed dragon lv 10". It had 3000 att points as well. Then he activated his dragon's eff. By discarding a card from his hand, like the trap "Ojamarking", he could destroy one monster card on the opponents field. Like Aster's Destiny End Dragoon". However Chazz soon realized that Aster's dragon had effects on its own. It couldn't get destroyed by magic, trap or monster eff's. Chazz sneered and made his monster attack anyway. They had equally att points, so they both got destroyed.

"I didn't expect you to do this much" Aster commented "But Destiny End dragoon can revive as many times on my turn, by excluding a destiny hero in my grave".

"Then I will finish you in this turn" Chazz then proclaimed and smiled.

He activated the eff from the trap "Ojamarking" in his grave. When a monster is destroyed, he could remove this card from the grave, and summon an Ojama from his grave. Like Ojama Yellow. The yellow was dancing around. He was happy to be back.

"Ojama yellow, attack Aster directly" Chazz then said firmly.

"Eh? What? But boss I don't have any att points" The spirit uttered.

"Trust me, you are the ace of my deck" he then said with a smile.

That made Ojama Yellow cry in happiness. The little spirit attacked Aster with his 'Ojama punch' as he called it. In the meantime, Chazz activated the trap "Pride shout". When a monster with 0 att points attacks directly, the opponent got damage equally to his def points. That blow from Ojama yellow made Aster's life points hit 0.

"You've become really strong Chazz Princeton" Aster then uttered before he hit the ground. He was rather exhausted because of the duel.

"We did it Boss! We really won by my attack. We won!" Ojama yellow then uttered happily. Chazz nodded. Then he fell to the ground. He was rather exhausted as well.

Normal p.o.v.

Then a lot of stuff happened. Chancellor Sheppard and Vice chancellor Crowler, both got calls from sponsors and duel companies, that wanted to have a pro contract with Aster. That made them both rather surprised. Chazz had made a name for himself. At the duel field, both duelist's got up on their feet's. They had delivered a spectacular duel and the crowd was going rather wild yelling "Chazz it up". Chazz had won after all. Aster just shrugged at that.

"Aster.." Chazz tried saying something, but the pro duelist stopped him.

"Chazz, I'll return this debt to you and Tara in the pro league, but for now, respond to the people who've supported you" Aster then said.

Chazz nodded surprised. He yelled and waved happily to the crowd, saying stuff like, who is the best duelists, whereas the crowd replied with "The Chazz" and some said "Chazz it up". Outside the hallways, Aster was meet by the Senrigan group's president and Freya, who was both smiling approved at him.

"I am sorry sir, I lost" Aster then said and bowed "Even with Destiny end dragoon".

"Don't worry about it" the president said and smiled "You delivered an awesome duel. We are just happy to have you back in the pro world". Freya nodded and actually surprisingly hugged Aster. That was not something she did in the open.

"You were fantastic" she then uttered "And so is your friend Tara. I now understand why you had a crush on her for so many years". Aster chuckled a little, and took her hand. Their fingers intervened.

"But I also came over her. Tara belongs to Zane Truesdale. That I know" Aster then said with a smile "And guess what, I don't think I want to trade you for Tara if I even could. I love you Freya". Freya smiled a bright smile.

"But your friend Tara Yuki is something else" the president then said "She and her twin has a great destiny in store. I just hope that destiny is in the pro league somewhere. It is a waist of potential otherwise".

Aster shrugged. He didn't know if Tara wanted to have a career as pro duelist. Only that would be revealed in the future somewhere. Whatever future the twins would get, Aster didn't question that it would spectacular. Then he and the Senrigan group left Duel academy.

A,N: Well that was that chapter. This was one of the awesome duels in my opinion. Now Chazz's future is secure at least. What is in store for the twins? Well you will see sooner or later. As for the next chapter, Crowler is going nuts! Literally! Parting is such sorrow. He literally feels that way. We get a little funny chapter and Jaden and Alexis moments, so hope that sound interesting! Oh and Lastly, there is a guy I want to nominate. @RobertDimascio.
