In the meantime.

Zane was staring down Chaos sorcerer. They have been dueling back and forth and Zane was right now in the lead. Actually he had been in the lead from the get go. The sorcerer hadn't even scratched his 4000 lp's while Zane had reduced the lieutenant's down to merely 500. The lieutenant was having no monster on his field. While Zane had his "Cyberdark dragon" on the field with an att on 1000. It's eff made it have 100 extra att points as Zane had cards in his grave, and right now the monster had 3300 att. He actually wondered if this lieutenant was a challenge at all.

"Come forth Ultimate great moth" The sorcerer suddenly yelled. He had in some way special summoned it to the field. Zane smirked. Finally something happened.

"What is that wannabe butterfly gonna do? Eat some holes in my clothes?" He asked.

"More like your life points" Chaos replied and attacked with the monster. It destroyed Zane's monster and dealt him 200 points of damage. Zane sneered.

At Aster's end the duel was underway as well, but it was not looking as good as at Zane's end. Aster had 500 lp's, while the two lieutenants had 2100 lp's. The lieutenants had summoned themselves to the field. (Skilled magician's black and white) and Aster didn't have any monsters on the field. However the pro duelist was not about to give up just yet.

"Alright let's do this" Aster then said "I special summon 'D. H. Plasma'".

"Hehe is that all?" Black questioned and grinned "You will have to duel better to defeat us. Right brother?". White nodded and smirked.

"I play the ritual spell card 'End of the world'" White said and both of their staffs glowed. They continued together "And together we sacrifice ourselves to unleash..'Demise – King of armageddon". In the two magician's place a black skull like fiend, surrounded in blue flames and had a giant black axe, appeared. Aster's eyes widened. The monster grinned evilly.

"Now that's what I call a meeting of demise" Aster said in a joking matter.

"And this is what we call the end" the monster said.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara sighed deeply. She was lying on the bed in her room and was staring up at the ceiling. Then she sighed again. She just couldn't stop doing that. Haou's question was roaming around in her mind constantly. How could it not? It was a big choice. On one hand she could stay here, which meant that she didn't see any blood shreds. On the other hand if she didn't go then maybe, she couldn't prevent the king from maybe capturing her friends. Tara shook her head in agony.

"Ah how can Haou make me decide on something so trivial and cruel at the same time" She yelled angry "It's the same as choosing between plague or cholera. Jim what shall I chose?!". She looked at the eye who was suppose to be beside her, but when Tara turned towards the place she saw it last time, it was gone. Tara looked around and saw the eye floating near the door to the balcony.

"Jim something wrong?" she questioned. The eye in someway turned towards her.

"I can feel it. He is here" the eye mumbled "I need to go!".

"Who's here?" Tara questioned and suddenly Jim flew over to her. Actually he flew around her like crazy. She got dizzy just by looking at him. She grabbed the ball.

"Jim, easy there, who's here? Why are you so restless?" she questioned. Jim sighed.

"I can feel it, Axel he is here. Axel is in the castle. I need to go to him, he needs my help Tara girl" He said and flew out of her hand. Tara's eyes widened.

"A..xel?" she said slowly here "Why is he here? No Haou will not like this.. I got..".

"You can't stop him from dueling the king mate" He said and flew down in her hand "Just like you can't stop me from going to him. I, the eye, has my spirit. The wish to free your brother and keep you safe until then, but know it is time to go. Do you understand mate? You want Jaden free as well right?". Tara bit his lip and nodded.

"I am sorry Jim, I must admit these past days, I forgot Jaden needs my help. He must think I am a terrible sister" She said slowly and got up from the bed.

"No I don't think so. Jaden would value how much you care about him. You in some way shares his pain with him, or would if you could" Jim said slowly "But we need to go. Axel needs my help Tara girl". Tara nodded and began walking out of the room. She was about to leave, when she heard knocks on the door and Baou's voice.

"My lady, may I come in, I am being asked to collect your answer to the king" he said. Tara quickly opened the door. This was not a good time at all.

"Yeah Baou, of course" she said slowly. She was holding the eye in her hand. The vampire bowed and wanted to walk inside, but Tara shook her head and walked outside of the room. The vampire looked puzzled at her.

"Um so you want my reply to bring back to his majesty eh" She said and was thinking pretty hard on an idea to leave this place. An idea stroke her. Baou nodded.

"Yes, that was my orders" he said slowly. He would have said a little more, but a loud crash could be heard downstairs in the main hall. Tara eyes widened.

"What was that?" she questioned. Baou sighed a little.

"Rebels trying to infiltrate the castle my lady" he said and sighed "Why couldn't I be the one fighting. Regardless if I lose, then I will be sended to the stars and are free from serving you and the king". Baou let out a little scream, when the collar began sparking a little. Tara ignored the scream. She hadn't the time.

"Well I want to give his majesty my reply myself thank you" she said "You stay here and.. and clean my room yeah. I order you to not meddle with the rebels". Baou was glaring cold at her, but bowed and replied with "Yes my lady". Tara sighed a little. She quickly got in the room and grabbed her duel disk and deck Haou gave her.

"Jim" she whispered "Where is Axel?". The eye glowed in her hand.

"Haou's room! Up the staircase, he is there mate" She nodded and began running up the staircase. She just hoped she was not too late.

Axel's p.o.v.

Axel: 4000lp.

Axel groaned in pain. The attack did more damage that he thought it would. After all a normal duel was not fought like back home. Here the damage were real. Secondly no one of Axel's former opponents had been Haou, the supreme king, so that we're a big difference. Regardless that Axel still got up on his feets again. He sneered a little.

"Jaden, I know you are in there, and I know you don't want to do these things the king is doing" Axel yelled out "If you would let me, I can help you come back".

"Silence!" sneered Haou coldly back "I am in charge here. Jaden only wants and needs the darkness and his sister. Nothing more". Axel sneered.

"You are wrong, I saw Jaden. I saw him wishing that he could make things right" He yelled at the king "And I am here to help him". The king snort.

"You can try, but you will fail" Haou replied coldly "Many tried, but yet none succeed. There is no power that can destroy the darkness". Axel sneered.

"Yes there is and I will show you with the help of the orichalcium" He replied.

"That eye doesn't show a thing" Haou sneered back.

"You are wrong and I am aid to prove it to you" Axel replied. Haou snort back.

"Your friend tried too, but I killed him. Like I will you" he replied coldly. Axel noticed that the king's eyes glowed a little and that the darkness emerges from him. He bit his lip. The king might have a point. He could hold all the speeches he wanted, but when he didn't have the eye to back that up, it was useless. He sneered.

"Well um that was then, and this is now" Axel then said. He just had to try his best, regardless having the eye or not. He drew and summoned "Volcanic Slicer" to the field in def mode. He activated its eff. If the monster didn't attack this turn, it could inflict 500 points of damage to the king. A giant fireball hit the king, but he didn't even whimper when the attack hit. Axel placed a facedown and ended his turn.

"Pathetic" the king stated and snort "Let me show you how real power feels like". Haou surrounded his monster with the power of darkness, making the attack from Cyclone even stronger. Then he attacked Axel and destroyed his monster. Axel could feel the wind pressure when his monster got destroyed. Haou ended his turn with a facedown. It was Axel's turn. He used/summoned the spell "Blaze accelerator" and then instantly discarded it to summon "Tri-blaze accelerator" to the field instead. He also used the card's eff. By discarding a pyro type monster, like his 'Volcanic Hammerer', he could destroy Haou's monster and deal him 500 points of damage. He loaded the monster into the canon, and was about to attack, when he heard a voice.

"Axel, Haou! Please stop!". Both males looked around and saw Tara rushing into the room and standing in the middle of the duel. "You have to stop, this is pointless!". Axel looked in horror. The monster had already been loaded into the canon, which meant that he couldn't stop the attack. His canon fired.

"Tara!" yelled both Axel and the king, which was a little weird. A beam of raw fire flew towards her. Axel gasped in shock. The fire was so intense that it even flew out of the room and out on the balcony. Axel was praying, and hoping, that Tara had gotten away in time. When the smoke cleared, Axel looked surprised. Around Tara was a black shield. The girl has stretched her arms out in the front and Axel figured that was how she created it. However she looked really tired.

"She is amazingly bright isn't she?" said a voice suddenly near Axel's one ear. The male turned slowly around. He was clearly even more surprised now.

"Jim?" He questioned and looked at the eye "You here? I mean you in there? In the eye?". The eye grinned a little and flew down into his hand.

"In a way yes, but I really don't have the time to explain that mate" The eye said "Tara put up a diversion, so the king didn't notice that I flew over to you. She is so reckless". Axel looked over at Tara. She had let the shield disappear and was actually having stolen look at the king now. She was clearly afraid of him now. Haou snort.

"Tara? Why are you here?" Haou said coldly "You dare meddle in this fight".

"Um well, I wanted to stop you two from fighting" She said and looked down at the ground "Can't you just let him go". Axel could hear the king snort coldly.

"No! He insulted me" the king replied coldly "Now, stand beside me". Tara sighed and did as she was told. She was standing at his right side. Haou petted her head.

"I am pleased Tara" the king said "You remembered the shield from a year ago". Axel noticed that Tara didn't look fully pleased by getting petted by the king. She didn't say anything, but she did look away. Her face expression said it all.

"Are you done mortal?" Haou then sneered "If you are, then end your turn".

"I am not done yet" Axel replied and played the spell "Fire recovery". With it, by discarding a pyro monster from his hand, he could bring back his "Volcanic Hammerer" from the grave. He instantly used it's eff. For every pyro monster in the grave, he could inflict 200 points of damage to the king. He had 2, so he tossed 400 points of damage towards the king. Axel just hoped it wouldn't hurt Tara though. Two beams of fire hit the king a created a massive fire sphere around the king and Tara. Haou's life points got reduced to 2600. Axel snort.

"Well sadly my monster can't attack, so it looks like the heat is off for the time being" He told the king "So it is your turn". The fire sphere disappeared and showed another black shield beneath it. It had protected the king and Tara. Haou snort.

"Indeed it is" he said and drew. The shield disappeared, when he did that. He played the spell "Dark calling". With it, by removing 'dark fusion' from play and by using a monster from his hand and grave, he could summon a fusion monster. He took 'Clayman' from the grave and 'burstinatrix' from his hand to summon "E. H. Infernal sniper" to the field in def mode.

"While in def mode, it deals 1000 points of damage" Haou told him "And it can't be destroyed by any spell cards". Axel looked in horror.

"Then my tri blaze are completely useless" He said. The king snort coldly.

"Precisely" He told him and made the monster fire 1000 points of damage to Axel. Axel sneered when his life points got reduced to 1100. He needed another way to beat that monster or he was done for soon. The king looked coldly at him.

"So that eye, has it shown you a way to win?" he said a little mockingly. Axel snort.

"Just you wait, you will find out" yelled Axel back at him "It will pierce the darkness and free Jaden's spirit, who is trapped beneath it". Haou snort coldly.

"Your hope is a wasted one" He said coldly and placed a hand on Tara's head "I decide when Jaden needs to come back. The twins doesn't need any saving. Can't say the same about you though. Your eye will never pierce the darkness". Axel sneered angry. No he is lying! Jaden needs to be saved right? Suddenly the eye glowed in his palm. Axel lifted it slowly up and looked at it.

"Please, show me the truth" he whispered slowly. They eye glowed and a picture was shown in it. For his inner eye, he saw the mirror room once again. He saw a crying Jaden, sitting at the wall with his knees at his chest and arms around his knees. He looked terribly depressed and tears were running down his cheeks. He mumbled the words like "I am so sorry, I am terrible. I am the worst". Axel could hear him say other stuff too, but in someway meant the same. That Jaden was so depressed and heart broken. Axel sneered. If the king means they don't need any saving, then why is Jaden in so much pain? He can't just keep him like this! No I got to set him free and the only way to do that, is to win this duel! I have to finish what Jim started! He recalled the event of Jim yelling to Jaden or tried doing that. Axel never knew if he actually came through to him. Regardless that he was ready to try.

"Okay Jim let's go. I have to pick up where you left off" Axel murmured.

"I am right with you" He could hear the eye reply. He drew and discarded his canon in order to special summon "Volcanic Doomfire" to the field. (3000 att) He made doomfire attack and destroy Haou's monster, while his other monster attacked the king directly. Haou had only 200 life points left. Axel snort. That avenged you Jim! Now I only have to beat him. However what they didn't know was that the king hadn't given up. Not by a long shot. To add as a surprise, the king was actually smiling, alias smirking in just one second, before he looked as emotionless as ever.

Ember's p.o.v.

Back at the fortress.

"Axel? Axel? Big brother? Where are you?" yelled Syrus and rushed around in the fortress. He was in panic. Ember on the other hand was calm and collected. She was looking around for the missing people, but she was not flipping out like Syrus.

"Calm down Sy, you flipping out doesn't solve anything" she said and sighed.

"How can you say that? A lot of things could have happened. The king could have sent squads out and kidnapped them or worse" Syrus yelled at her and continued running around. Ember just sighed. Right now they were outside, but in the fortress palisade and was looking around for the missing team.

"I don't think he is here" Ojama said slowly and sighed. He was floating beside Ember "If I just could recall, who that person were". Ember bit her lip. She hadn't told any that she had seen Jesse yet. She couldn't decide if she should. She felt like she was to blame for him getting taken by Yubel. Secondly she was guilty over saying these bad stuff to Jaden, who now were the king who terrorised this land. She just felt everything was her fault. She sighed a little. Maybe I should tell them?! She was about to say something when she heard three small voices near her.

"Ojama, we need to talk to you" said three small fairies. These three faries, Ember and Syrus came across in that village. Ojama face lit up like hell.

"Why hello there, it seems our path keep crossing" Yellow said in an extremely manly voice, that surprised Ember. It was funny what love can do with people. "It is like a dream come true". Yellow danced a little around. The faries looked at him.

"Ojama, we have a seriously question for you" they said in unison "Do you know a boy named Jesse? Have you seen him anywhere". By that Ember was about to tip over by surprise. They just had to ask that. Ojama was thoughtful for a minute.

"Hmm come to think about it, I think I have" He replied. Ember facepalmed. Yep he was saying everything to make the fairies happy. Then her eyes widened. Well he did see someone, who happens to be Jesse, but Ojama did say he couldn't be sure. Ember shook her head. The fairies smiled happily and danced around him.

"Then that must mean.. that he is here" the fairies said in unison. Ember was about to say something as well, but a voice interrupted her.

"Sorry to break that chat up" said a stressed Syrus "But have you faries seen Axel?".

"He is dueling" one of the fairies said slowly. Ember's eyes widened.

"He is dueling? Who is he dueling?" she questioned. The fairies looked down now.

"The king" they said in unison. Ember looked shocked at them.

"Wait hold on are you saying he and the others went to the king's tower" Syrus asked.

"Yes" the fairies replied. Ember and Syrus looked at each other.

"I need to see that with my own eyes" concluded Syrus and summoned his "Kiteroid". Then he and Ember both grabbed the roid and began flying away.

"Ah wait for me" Ojama yellow yelled and grabbed hold on some of Syrus's cloak.

"If you happen upon Axel" said one of the fairies and the other continued "Then promise to tell him that Jesse's alive". Ojama nodded and promised them. Then they flew towards the king's tower.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was not sure what she was thinking about this whole thing. Haou and Axel facing up against each other in a battle on life and death and well, the end resolve was at least one of them ended up dead. She of course wanted Jaden free, so she wanted Haou to lose, but she actually also wished he didn't go to the stars. These couple of days she had learned more about the king and his ways, that she could ever dream about, but there were of course still questions. Secondly she didn't want the king, even through he was evil and stuff, to go to the stars. He had after all taken care of her. Maybe in a bizarre way, but still. She just couldn't wish for him to die. She saw the duel go back and forth. Axel was of course in the losing end. Tara wondered if he had a chance in the duel at all. However then Axel suddenly pulled out an a amazing combo, who made Haou's lp's go down to 200. which made Axel now on the leading edge. However what surprised Tara more was that Haou actually was smiling. Just for a sec. She had never seen him like this. It was as he enjoyed himself. A thought hit Tara. She remembered the line "I am like Jaden. I loved dueling once". Maybe Haou actually enjoyed himself this time? She could feel Haou's hand on her head again.

"Tara watch!" She could hear Haou say into her mind. Tara slowly nodded. After all how could she not watch this duel? It was pretty important. Haou looked at Axel now.

"How does it feel to be so close. Victory is almost yours. One thing stands in your way. That is me!" Haou said coldly to Axel and drew. He looked at the card and special summoned "E. H. infernal prodigy" to the field. Apparently this monster had a special eff. Since Haou had no monsters on field, he could special summon it. He sacrificed it, to summon out "E.H malicious edge". Tara knew that combo. In some way that monster must be Haou's favorite. He never dueled without it. Since prodigy was tributed by a hero monster, Haou could also draw a card from his deck, which he played right away. It was the spell "Vicious claw". It gave his edge a 300 att bonus. (2900 att) and when his monster got destroyed, the spell took the hit, returning to the owners hand, leaving edge safe.

"Evil hero, attack Volcanic hammerer" Haou said and made the monster attack.

"Gotcha!" Axel replied and smirked "You see my doom fire has it's own hidden ability. When your monster is attacking, it has no choice but to go after my doom fire instead". Tara's eyes widened. That was an interesting turn of event. Haou sneered.

"No way!" He proclaimed, but his monster still attacked, making him lose 100 more life points. Because of "Vicious claw" edge was saved and the spell returned to Haou's hand. Tara could see Axel clench his fists.

"I can do this" He said. Tara figured it was more to himself than to any of them.

"No, not yet" Haou proclaimed coldly "Third eff of my claw activates". Tara looked in horror when Axel's Hammerer got destroyed and Axel lost 600 lp's. Leaving him only with 500 life points. Tara bit her lip. This duel was far, far, far from over. She just knew.

Normal p.o.v.

Around same time with the others.

Ember and Syrus was flying through the air and like Zane and the others, they flew in undetected and found the cave entrance like the others had used. They haven't been spying on the for nothing you know. Although they didn't know they had left.

"Is this really a good idea?" Ojama Yellow questioned in a scared tone.

"Quiet!" Syrus replied and they looked around. They began walking thought the cave.

At Zane's end inside the giant hallway, Zane was still faced up against Chaos sorcerer and his giant bug as Zane calls it. "Ultimate great moth".

"Haha you will never beat me" Chaos said and laughed. Zane snort.

"I have heard that before" he replied coldly "But you know something, I always find a way to pull out a victory". Chaos snort back at him.

"Not this time though" He replied. Zane snort and was holding up 4 cards in his hand. It was his three "Cyber dragons" and "Polymerisation".

"I got 4 cards in my hand that says differently" He said coldly "So let's see who is right or wrong. Come forth 'Cyber end dragon'". Zane's mighty dragon appeared. It had just 500 more att than Chaos's giant insect, which was just enough for him to win this duel and reduce his opponents life points to 0. Chaos looked terrified.

"My moth can't survive this" The sorcerer proclaimed scared. Zane snort.

"Well that means that I was right and you was wrong" He said and smirked. He made his monster attack and destroyed the insect. He won the duel and seconds later the lieutenant got sent to the stars.

"Zane!" yelled a voice suddenly and Syrus, Ember and O. Yellow ran towards him.

"Nice get up" he commented and snort "Let's go. I need to save Tara". The others nodded and rushed towards the stairs in the other end of the hallway.

At Aster's end, the duel with the two lieutenant continued. Aster was still facing up against "Demise, king of armageddon". Aster had Plasma on the field though.

"Suffer the wrath of king of armageddon" the monster said in two overlaid voices "We sacrifice 2000 life points, to destroy all your monsters". A giant blue aura appeared around the monster and the force flew seconds later towards Aster.

"I am sorry" Aster said in a teasing manner "Last round I activated 'D-force' and it's eff negates all your special eff's". The blue aura disappeared, because Aster had the spell on top of his deck, which made plasma immune over spells, traps or monster effs.

"So what" sneered the monster a little angry "With more att points, we are stronger". It attacked Aster, but the pro duelist was ready for them. He activated the trap "Plasma counter". It halved his opponents monster and added 1500 att to his own monster. He was now so strong that he also reduced the two lieutenants life points to 0. Seconds later, they were also sent to the stars. Aster smirked. He saw his group of friends running towards him.

"So what took you so long?" he questioned when they arrived "Let's save the twins". The others nodded and rushed up at the stairway.

Axel's p.o.v.

Axel sneered when his hammerer got destroyed, but he was not about to give up. He just couldn't. I know that with every life points the king loses, the closer I am to bring Jaden back! He could hear the king snort at him.

"Axel, you will never defeat the darkness. It is too powerful a force" He said and then looked at Tara "Tara, share your power with me!". Axel was surprised by that. So was Tara, but by the tone Haou had given her, she just couldn't disobey. She sighed a little and took a hold in his right arm. The one hand he had no cards in. Axel noticed the dark aura around Tara now, who quickly mixed together with the king's which made the darkness cover the floor and run down the stairs. Those stairs the others was running up at, and the others was not liking this at all. Seconds later Axel saw the group of friends arrive here. Even Syrus and Ember was with them. He figured that Zane and Aster had beaten the lieutenants. The others looked around.

"Jaden" Aster said slowly, then shook his head "No the supreme king". Zane snort.

"Where is Tara, your highness?" He sneered at the king. Then he noticed the figure hiding behind the king. Axel knew Tara had hidden herself as soon as they walked in here. He figured she was ashamed that she helped the king in battle. She was still surrounded in darkness and had a hand on the king's armor.

"Tara? Is that you? Please show yourself to me. Why are you hiding?" Zane asked confused. Tara did slowly move in front once again and looked at them, but only for a second. Then she looked at the ground. She was about to say something, when Haou once again had placed a hand on her head.

"Silence Tara, You don't need to explain yourself" Haou said coldly "Ignore them, and focus on the duel". Tara bit her lip and nodded. She looked away from them.

"What did you.." sneered Zane angry "I will go over there and rip her out of his grip". He was about to do that, when Axel placed a hand in front of him.

"No this battle is between me and them" He replied. Haou snort coldly. He continued his move. The fourth eff of Vicious claw's now activated. It summoned a "Evil token" to Axel's side of the field. (2500 Def/Att)

"You really wanna do that?" Axel questioned confused. Haou snort.

"Absolutely" The king replied and activated the trap "Evil blast" and equipped it to the token, giving it 500 more att. However at the king's next standby phase, the card would inflict 500 points of damage to Axel. The others eyes widened in horror.

"With Axel only having 500 life points left to his name.." commented Zane surprised.

"The next standby phase will be the end for him, unless he can come up with a way out" Aster added and nodded. Haou ended his move by playing a facedown. Axel sneered. This is it. Only one of us will survive the next round. He took a deep breath.

"Axel" yelled a squeaky voice suddenly. Ojama yellow was yelling his name. "I promised the fairies to tell you this. Axel, Jesse is still alive!". Axel's eyes widened.

"You are certain?" He questioned. The little monster nodded.

"Yes, I saw him with my own eyes" it replied. Axel smiled and looked at the king.

"Jaden can you hear me" He said really loud "Jesse is alive! Your friend needs you, you promised you would bring him back to duel academy remember. Your friend Jesse needs you!". For a moment was their silence. Then the king groaned a little.

"I knew that already" Haou then replied coldly "Who cares. Jaden doesn't need him. The twins doesn't need anything, beside the power of darkness". Axel sneered. I had hoped that hearing about Jesse, would make Jaden fight from within, but it looks like the only way to free him, is to sent the king's spirit to the stars.

"Hmm Jaden" Axel mumbled and clenched his fist with the eye inside. Then he placed the hand over his deck. He needed the right card to win this. Suddenly he noticed a hand above his. A transcendent one. Jim's spirit was right beside him. However apparently Axel was the only one who could see him.

"Is it really you?" Axel questioned and Jim smiled and nodded. Axel nodded and continued "Okay Jim, let's save our friends". They both, in someway drew. Axel looked at the card, then at the ghost beside him.

"Thanks mate, this is the card I needed" He told him. Jim nodded and disappeared. Then he played the spell "Volcanic cyclone". Now after how many pyro type monster he sended to the grave from his hand, Axel could now destroy as many trap or spell on his opponents field. So he sended "Volcanic counter" to the grave to destroy Haou's "Evil blast". The others sighed relived.

"Alright, now Axel's life points are safe and sound" Aster commented. Axel made his doom fire attack Haou's monster.

"Ojama, I think this might be it" Syrus commented and they all were holding their breaths. Haou only snort.

"Not after I activate this facedown" He told them and activated "Super polymerisation". By sending his "Vicious claw" card in his hand to the grave, the king could now fuse "Malicious edge" with the "Evil token" on Axel's field together to form "E. H. Malicious fiend". (3500 att)

"Shit this monster is more powerful that Axel's monster" Aster commented in horror. The two monsters battled and a giant ball of fire got created and sent shockwaves through the room. The others had to cover themselves to not get blown away. However Axel didn't have the time to do that. He rushed forward towards the king and jumped up in the air. Then he tackled the king, so he fell backwards. He looked completely shocked actually. So did Tara who was standing beside him.

"What are you doing?" sneered Haou coldly "You don't have any life points left. The darkness lives and the twins stays with me". Axel snort back.

"Not so fast supreme king, the eff from my Volcanic counter in my grave get's triggered. By removing it from play, you take the same amount of damage I would. Game over supreme king!" He yelled back at the king. Haou looked completely shocked. Then he sneered angry and tried getting Axel off him, but he was sitting at the chest of him, which made it impossible for Haou to move away.

"No, I lost?" He questioned angry "Wait, we both lost, so that means we have a draw. The wish in not getting triggered unless..". Axel snort and looked at the lit up treats.

"I am willing to die and take me with you" Axel replied coldly. Haou sneered.

"You are willing to sacrifice yourself to take me with you?" He yelled angry "Not in my lifetime. I rather sent Jaden to the stars than myself. He want it anyway. He doesn't want to live on, after what happened with Brron. There he will be safe".

"No Haou don't do it" Tara suddenly yelled "Please let Jaden go. He needs to heal his heart". The king looked at her and snort. He didn't reply her. He was struggling to get free. Axel looked at Tara and tossed the eye at her. She catched it.

"Quickly go in there. Jaden only sort of remembers you. You have to make him move forward. You are the only one who can truly save him from himself" He told her.

"Tara, you dare use that eye" Haou yelled angry "I order you to not to".

"No, I don't serve you any longer" she sneered "You lost remember. I want my brother back!". Then she placed the eye at the chest of the king and a glowing red right lit up in the room. Everyone else beside her got blinded.

"Tara, let's go" Jim said inside the eye "Inside your brother's mind". Axel saw her nod and place her palm onto the eye. Seconds later, she collapsed at the king's chest. Axel figured she had gone in there, and wished her good luck. He hoped it was not too late.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara had never in her entire life figured that the outcome of this battle was a draw. She also never guessed that Axel was willing to sacrifice himself to save Jaden from the king. It made her really sad. However she knew what she had to do. She knew that as soon as Axel tossed her the eye and without hesitation, she placed it at the king's chest. Before she knew it, her and Jim, alias the eye, was once again standing inside the mirror room. However this time it was more dark than last time she was here. She looked around, but she couldn't stop Jaden anywhere.

"Tara girl" Jim said "I will destroy the mirrors in here. You will find Jaden. Make sure he wants to move forward. If he doesn't, the king will have the power to send him to the stars instead of himself. Then Jaden's body really is his. Make Jaden have the power to live on, then the king can't do a thing". Tara nodded. She began walking around in here, calling for Jaden, however he didn't reply. Apparently he didn't hear her. Tara bit her lip. Then she remembered first time she arrived here, Jaden had been mumbling to himself, so she decided to listen instead. If he was talking, she would maybe be able to hear him. At first she couldn't hear anything, but then slowly by concentrating she could hear a faint voice. She quickly followed the voice and soon she found what she had been looking for. Jaden! The reason she hadn't noticed him at first, was because he was leaning towards the wall and was hidden inside the shadows. Secondly he was surrounded in a dark aura, which made him almost invincible. Tara rushed over to him.

"I am so pathetic and selfish. No one wants me around, beside Haou. No one else cares about me, but I don't deserve anything else. I am cruel evil person. I sended my friends away. I hurt them! I hurt Tara my sister!" she could hear Jaden mumble. He had his head between his knees and was in a ball state. He was not even looking up. He let out a cry. Tara bowed down in front of him and quickly hugged him. Jaden however didn't react at all. He was only mumbling and crying.

"I am so sorry. So sorry" He continued mumbling "I don't deserve to live. I am a cruel evil person". Tara let out a cry as well.

"Jaden, Jaden please look at me" she said and shook him like hell. Jaden finally reacted and looked up. His face was wet and his eyes were distant and had amber eye color. Tara noticed that his checks however was dry. She figured he hadn't any tears left. Jaden sniffed a little.

"I.. who are you?" He questioned, but then sighed "It doesn't matter. Nothing matters. Not that important anyway. I am not that important anyway. I should just vanish as well. I deserve it after all". Tara looked shocked at him. Her brother was in such a deep depression. She had never seen him like this before. Slowly tears began falling down her checks as well and she ended up crying too. She wanted to help him so badly, share his misery with him, if it could help. Just so he got it better.

"Forget it Tara, he is mine" said a voice suddenly. Tara didn't look. She knew who it was anyway. Haou, the supreme king! Tara sighed and hugged Jaden even more. She could feel him tense a little by that, but he didn't move at all. He let out a cry again.

"I can never make things right again. I can't fix it. I am so pathetic" he said slowly.

"Haou leave" Tara said a little angry "Jaden needs to be free. He needs to heal his heart. I care for him. He is my brother". The king just snort a little. Jaden looked up when Haou's name was mentioned and was now staring at the evil spirit.

"Haou" He said in a harsh voice and let out a cry once again. Haou bowed down and looked at the torned boy. Tara noticed that he didn't push her away from him, which confused her a lot. The king lifted the boy's chin a little.

"Yes Jaden?" He said coldly. Jaden sniffed a little.

"I kept my promise right?" He whispered "I kept it right? She is safe right? My sister Tara, you are protecting her for me right?". Haou tousled his hair a little.

"Yes, but I need something from you to do so. Your restly life energy" He said coldly. Jaden just nodded, to Tara's surprise and horror.

"Take it" Jaden said weakly "I will give you everything, just make her safe. My sister, I love her so much". He began to cry and mumble again.

"I am weak compared to Haou" He mumbled "I am nothing. Nothing at all. No one cares. I am just all alone without him". Tara clenched her fist and hugged Jaden.

"Jaden, you don't know what you're saying" She said and more tears felt from her eyes. Jaden looked stunned at her. He had a confused look on his face.

"Who are you? Why are you crying? Are you crying over me? I don't understand" He said confused "I am not that important". Tara cried out loud again.

"You are important to me Jaden. I am Tara, you sister. I love you and I care for you. I will make sure you are never alone. Just move forward again please. Whatever happened in the past happened. You need to let the past go, and live again. You must live on" Tara said between her cries. Jaden looked at her and now hugged her. 

"I don't know why" He said weakly "I can feel something from you. I don't know who you are but... I feel happy suddenly". Tara let out a cry again.

"I am Tara, your sister" she said again "I will help you getting forward. You know Tara would never let your hanging. I will be by your side, despite everything. Just don't give up. Just don't give Haou what he wants. Stay with me". Haou snort in the background. Tara ignored him. She was a little puzzled that Haou didn't do anything to stop her. Jaden let out a cry and he hugged her really tightly.

"Tara would do that" He said slowly "My sister would say that. I still have her. I am not that alone. She is with me in spirit. She told me that. I.." Jaden looked down now.

"I am scared" He stated "I did send my friends away. I am a terrible person".

"No it was an accident" Tara said "An accident Jaden. Alexis, Hassleberry, Atticus, and Chazz would forgive you, but think about what you have instead. Syrus, Zane, Aster and Ember are waiting for you to return to us. Please, don't you want to be with Tara as well". Jaden looked at her. Then he looked at Haou. He looked torned.

"I.. I don't know" said Jaden and had grabbed his head. "I am so confused".

"Jaden, listen" Haou said suddenly and hugged both of them "Return with her". Tara looked surprised at him.

"Don't get the wrong idea Tara" He said coldly "I am not doing this because I want to, but because you and your friends beat me fair and square. I will take the place and vanish. However remember this. I will return. I am a part of you two, and I will never really disappear. You both are gonna stay mine forever". Then he glowed and disappeared. Jaden swayed a little and fell into her arms. He looked tired.

"Tara" Yelled Jim suddenly "I have destroyed everything Haou did in here! Jaden is free". Tara nodded, but looked concerned at Jaden.

"Don't worry" The eye replied and flew in front of her "Taken over by the darkness takes a lot out of you. Come let's return". Tara nodded and seconds later, they disappeared into their respective bodies.

Zane's p.o.v.

Outside everything was chaos. The blast from the two monsters was still roaming and the light from the eye was shining. At first the others at the group, couldn't do a thing. Then the whole thing subsided. A giant blast could be heard and the darkness left the room, just like that. Zane had only one thought in his head now.

"Tara!" he yelled and rushed over to where the king and Axel was.

"Axel, Jaden" the other yelled and quickly followed him. They found the king, alias Jaden lying on the ground. Axel was leaning toward him and looked up at the others when they was near him. He smiled a little. At the chest of the king, was Tara lying and she was mumbling a little. Jaden's name could be heard. Then the eye in Tara's hand suddenly fell to the ground and smashed into millions of pieces. They could hear the twins both take a deep breath and say each others names in unison. Then they could hear them both snore a little. Axel smiled and looked at the others.

"The eye have brought Jaden back, promise that you look after the twins" he said and his body slowly glowed. Seconds later he turned to stardust.

"What happened?" questioned Ember confused. Aster sighed.

"They each ran out of life points in the end. Both Axel and the king got sent to the stars" He explained. Zane nodded. He bowed down and lifted the helmet off of Jaden's head. As he did the rest of the armor disappeared beside the helmet. They also noticed something else. A deck and a pile of clothes. Tara's normal clothes was lying beside the wins as well. Zane frowned a little.

"Let's hope so" He said and looked at Ember "Take care of Tara's stuff for me". He noticed that Ember nodded and bowed down and collected the weird duel disk, clothes and extra deck. Zane noticed Tara had slowly opened her eyes a little.

"Zane.." she whispered "Is it all..". Zane placed a finger on her lips.

"Don't speak. You're tired. Jaden is back so don't worry" he told her. He could see her relieved face and that she slowly went back to sleep. However it was not before she had grabbed around his arm, as a form of safety. Zane only smiled by that and lifted her up in his arms. Apparently she didn't want him to leave her. That was understandable. He walked out on the balcony. The army was mumbling stuff beneath them. The sky had suddenly turned red. Zane figured it had something to do with the comet. Axel had explained that Jim and the eye, as well as the comet was connected in some way. Since the eye got destroyed, the comet was affected as well.

"The supreme king has been beaten" yelled Zane as loud as he could, hoping Tara didn't wake up "Your army has been defeated". As he said that he tossed the helmet down to the fiends who looked shocked at it. Then seconds later they began running away. Without their precious king, no one of them was staying here for long. No one was gonna fight against them, who defeated the king after all. As an extra sign the comet disappeared in the sky and so did the darkness that was roaming around in this world. Zane noticed the others behind them. Aster and the others was carrying a sleeping Jaden. Zane snort and summoned his "Cyber dark dragon" and made them leave this place and as they did, the sun was beginning to show in the sky. However what they didn't notice was a certain vampire was roaming in the shadow inside the castle. He had seen it all and he was quite pleased and at the same time not. However that is not important right now.

Time skip.

At a hilltop under a tree was the group now sitting and was looking down at the twins who was lying on the grassy field and sleeping.

"We have to give them both time to recover" Zane said "They had both been through a lot and need to rest". The others nodded.

"Yeah Jaden needs it" Syrus added "Who knows what happens inside of him, after being controlled by the king for so long". The others nodded in reply.

"So is it really true Ojama" asked Aster suddenly "That you have seen Jesse in this world?". The little ojama nodded.

"Yes, I was not sure at first. It was dark and we were at the hill near the fortress, but now that I think about it, it was Jesse. The reason I was hesitating, was because of his eyes. They just didn't seem right" Ojama yellow ended the story. The others frowned.

"You are sure about that?" Aster questioned "It was not something you imagined".

"No, it is true" interrupted a new voice. Ember's voice "It was him, because I saw him too. With those eyes, showing that he belongs to Yubel now".

A,N: Dun, dun, dun! Interesting ending ehh. Now they all, beside the twins, knows about Yubel. Hope you liked this chapter. The next chapter is about Adrian actually. Adrian and his best friend Echo. Dr. Crowler also appears.. not that we have missed him. Aster also have a big part in that chapter. However hope the next chapter sounds interesting. Please comment on what you think.
