Adrian's p.o.v.

Adrian was still stuck on the wall, paralyzed! On a monitor a little away from here, he could see the duel with the twins. Tara had just got shocked. Adrian sneered.

"Put me down from here!" He yelled. The eye in the tank turned towards him and looked at him. 

"What is wrong?!" It asked and actually sounded cold "Don't you want to see Tara and Jaden to pay for what they did! Jaden for listening to her and did it! Tara for suggesting it! That girl is going to pay dearly!". Adrian looked confused. What was its problem with the twins? The eye turned towards the monitor once again.

"Now do as you are instructed Viper! And you will get your reward!" the eye said and grinned. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Back to the duel.

Jaden was sneering angry at Viper. The duel was already annoying at is it, letting Tara get all the damage. But of course he wanted to add a stinking swamp as well. A swamp who ate his monsters att and when they hit 0, BOOM and no monster! And of course Tara was gonna get shocked when the monster disappeared from the field. Just great! Was there no justice in the world any longer?! He looked at his sister. She said she could take it, but Jaden was not so sure about that! He had to end this duel quick!

He drew and fusion summoned "Sparkman" and "Bladedge" to form "Ele hero Plasma vice" to the field. Jaden could hear his friends mumble. For them it was a new recruit. Jaden just smiled. Tara was not the only one who had used the suitcase from their father you know. He attacked with plasma and destroyed viper's snake, dealing him a lot of damage. However Viper had two trap cards ready. With them he could summon two reptiles to the field. However that was not the worse part. Jaden's plaza got hit by a snake bite at his end of his turn, and it lost 500 att now. It was Viper's turn now! He used his two snakes eff to place three more snake bites on Plasma and draining his att, so he only had 800 att now. Jaden sneered. 

"You are eating him alive!" Jaden said and sneered. Viper just smirked. He sacrificed his two snakes to summon "Vennominon the king of poisonous snakes", who funny enough had 0 att. Jaden frown a little. Tara's Marshmellow appeared beside them now. Tara sneered a little and nodded.

"You are right Marshmellow! This monster must have a really good special ability!" Tara said and placed her arms at his head now. "Jaden be careful!". Jaden nodded, but he couldn't stop smiling a little. With Tara on his back, it actually felt like a monkey, with all that crawling around on him. Tara slammed him a little on the head.

"I heard that!" she said and snort a little "Do I look like a monkey to you!". But a minute after she smiled at him. Viper sneered.

"Sorry to interrupt your chit chat but we have a duel here!" Viper said. Jaden shrugged a little. Viper told them about his monster's eff. For every reptile monster in his grave, his snake king gained 500 att. He had three, so thats 1500 att points. He attacked and destroyed Jaden's monster. Jaden looked in horror. Tara screamed up and had closed her eyes. It was like the the poisoned cloud, his monster got hit with, in some way hit Tara as well. She was rubbing her eyes a little. At least she could still see!

"It is your turn Jaden!" said Viper "Hope you can make it count!". 

"Viper!" yelled Jesse suddenly from the background "I smell something foul in the air, and I am not talking about your swamp! Who are you working with?". Jaden looked surprised at Jesse, then back at Viper! Viper looked confused at them. 

"My, my what in the world are you talking about!" He said. 

"Don't play stupid Viper!" said Ember and sneered "I know when people are hiding stuff so fess up!". Viper sighed and looked at them all. 

"Well since you all are so eager to find out, maybe I need to show you something!" He said and showed her the arm he got from the eye creature it the tank. Then he began telling a story about his past. That he had been in a special force team, on his way to retrieve something, who had crash landed on earth. 

"Our team was sent there to pick up the pieces!" Viper said. Jaden looked surprised.

"What was it?!" He asked curiously. Viper closed his eyes for a minute to remember and then he continued the story. 

"Our entail was thin! But our orders on that mission was crystal clear!" Viper said "Retrieve the item and don't ask questions! However it was not so easy as it sounded!". Viper began telling that on the way there, their helicopter was struck by lightning and they made a crash landing. Viper's team where to highly damaged, so Viper, who was the lucky one, continued this mission all alone. He had never failed a mission, and he was not about to now. He finally arrived at the place. At a big crater. Viper was not sure what he was looking for, but he knew he was close. He could feel the power off something extremely powerful! 

"And then it called out to me!" Viper said. 

Flashback.

Viper was at the crater looking around, in the weird smoke. Then he heard a voice, calling.

"Please! Help me Viper!" It said and Viper saw It knew his name! "If you help me I will give you anything you want! Even the one you miss!". Viper sneered angry.

"Quiet!" He said and looked angry at the creature. A weird arm of some sort. 

"I know you want to see him again!" it said. Suddenly a boy was standing in front of Viper. He looked shocked and surprised. Then he rushed over to the boy, wanted to embrace him, but as soon as Viper touched him, he disappeared in the wind. He helped the creature that day! 

"The creature promised me to bring back my son!" said Viper and took a deep breath. 

"For real?!" said Jaden and looked confused "I didn't know you had a son!". 

"Jaden!" said Tara angry "It is not the right time for that question!". However it made Viper tell them another story. He found his family in the most uncertain places. He was on a militæry mission. Viper and his squad was evading the enemy at their territory, and thats where he found a baby boy in a basket. However since Viper broke formation to save this child, his men were at the same time ambushed and held captivated by the enemy. Viper saved this child at the cost of his men, so he made a vow to always protect him. 

"However!" ended Viper the story with "My boy got very ill and in the end he died! But now this creature promised me to bring him back! I just couldn't say no! I will do whatever I had to, to save my son's life!". 

"Seriously!" yelled Jesse at Viper "You have hurt all these students just to bring your son back! How selfish can you be! How many were you gonna sacrifice?". 

"Just two more!" Viper said "The twins are the last one! When I have their energy, Me and my son will be reunited!". 

"Ah come on mate!" said Jim "You can't be serious! That thing made you think funny!". The others agreed. However Viper was not to help in any way at all. He was fixated in getting his son back and thats that.

Adrian's p.o.v.

Adrian was hanging around in the hideout still attached to the wall. He had just watched the scene with Viper telling his story and about something who crashed landed on Earth?! He looked at the eye in the tank. It had listened as well.

"The thing he found! It was you wasn't it!" Adrian asked. The eye grinned. 

"Yes! We became best of friends that day!" The eye said "And my new friend was now gonna do my bidding!". Adrian sneered. This didn't sound good at all. Suddenly both the eye and he noticed Hassleberry and Syrus. Hassleberry had apparently said something about "Even out the playing field" and "Helping his beloved Dino queen" by doing something to Viper! He needed Syrus to distract him. The eye sneered.

"Thats cheating!" it said and its eye glowed a little. The dead wood or vines came to live and grabbed around Hassleberry and Syrus feets. To make sure, the others didn't think the same thing, it began sending these vines after the others as well. They was moving around like snakes. Adrian looked in horror. They were snakes! Suddenly snakes surrounded the others as well. Adrian could hear the eye laugh. 

"Soon you will have what you desire Viper!" The eye said "Now make the twins pay for what they did to me!". Adrian sneered. He just hoped the others could survive this. Especially his beloved Ember!

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara couldn't believe it! She just couldn't believe what Viper had told them. He was doing all this to bring back his son from the dead?! Okay she was sorry for his loss, but he couldn't just bring other people in danger, just to bring him back! It was wrong! He wouldn't be happy! However Tara knew these feelings Viper was going through! Their mother was dead as well, but still! Tara knew their mother wouldn't be happy to be brought back in that way! She was looking down on them from heaven! She just knew! Jaden looked sad at her and smiled a little. Tara knew he was thinking the same thing. Jaden just squeezed her hand a little. Tara looked over at her friends. She had noticed the snakes and the vines. Luckily just surrounding them, but it wasn't good at all. They just have to survive this!! She nodded at Jaden. He had to continue the duel. He drew and summoned "Bubbleman" to the field and could draw two cards. Then he equipped him with the spell "Bubble Rod" and the monster gained 800 more att. Then Jaden  played the spell "Righteous justice". He could now destroy a spell or a trap, like Viper's swamp, but Viper was ready for him. He activated the trap "Snake deity's command". With it he could cancel Jaden's spell and send a reptile to the grave. The twins sneered. Jaden placed a facedown and ended his turn. Bubbleman got a snake bite and lost 500 att as well. Now it was Viper's turn. He attacked with his monster and destroyed Jaden's monster. Tara screamed out, when she felt the poisonous smoke in her eyes. It was stinging in her eyes. However Tara was a little confused though. Why was the poison taking effect? Or was is not poison? Then Tara remembered! Stein's antidote. Even though it was snake poison, some of that antidote must canceled out the snakes! Or some of it! Tara had a feeling, it couldn't keep it up forever! Since bubble rod got destroyed, Jaden was allowed to draw another card. Then he activated the trap "A hero emerges". Viper had to chose a card from his hand. He had two, and of course Viper chose "Neos" and Jaden summoned it to the field. However because of Viper's swamp, Neos lost 500 att points. Tara looked worried at Jaden. He was about to draw, when Tara placed her hand at Jaden. Her brother looked confused at her for a moment.

"May I help!" she asked "You look like you need some Jaden!". Jaden smiled. 

"Sure!" He said and grinned "You are in this duel after all! With our combined strength, no one can beat us!". Tara grin and nodded. They both drew. Jaden grinned.

"I got the card Tara!" He said "Lets show him our combined power!". Jaden summoned "Aquas" to the field, in att mode. Then he used the card they both had drawn. It was a spell and it was called "Nex". With it he could sacrifice "Aquas" to get his evolved form. "NS marine dolphin" to the field. Marine looked at them.

"Thanks to you two I have evolved!" Marine said "But you can still call me Aquas!". Tara smiled and nodded. Jaden contact fused the two spacians into "Marine Neos", and with its eff, he could destroy a monster in Viper's hand. Unfortunately it was one of Viper's snakes, and his king on the field gained 500 more att. Luckily M neos still had more att and it destroyed the snake king. Everyone was happy and relieved he was gone. That until Viper resurrected it with its eff. The only thing he should do was remove a reptile monster from the grave. His king returned, but with 500 att lesser, since a Reptile got removed from play. Tara sneered.

"Ah come on! Couldn't it just stay in the grave!" Tara said angry. Viper only smirked. Jaden ended his turn and his monster got another snake bite and lost 500 att. it was Viper's turn now, and played the spell "Venom shot". By sending a snake to the grave, he could now strike Jaden's marine with two times poison. It lost 1000 points of att. Then Viper attacked his monster and destroyed M neos. Jaden had only 1200 life points left. Tara let out a scream. She placed her nails into the neck of Jaden. Her sight was beginning to blur. 

"Tara!" said Jaden worried "Are you okay? If it helps you, then hurt me as much as he does you! I want to take your pain away! I want to share it as well!". Tara looked confused at him for a moment. Share the pain, thought Tara. Maybe that is possible. In the background Viper was laughing like hell. 

"Is that the best the famous Yuki Twins can do? Even with your combined power you can't do a thing! You are not even a challenge!" He said and laughed. Then he smirked at them and continued " My mission is almost complete! As a consolation prize, someone want to see you two after this duel! Someone who had kept an eye out for you in a long time!". The twins both sneered. Tara was getting her sight back again and was looking at Jaden. He was looking at her as well. She knew they were thinking the same thing. Who was he talking about? However Tara decided that she didn't want to find out! It could never be something good! That she knew!

Adrian's p.o.v.

Back with Adrian. He was still hanging around on the wall. However the eye creature in the tank was luckily enough not keeping a eye on him for now. It was looking at the screen with the duel. It sounded really eager!

"The twins are gonna pay for how they wronged me!" it said and looked really intense at the screen. "Especially that Tara girl! But also Jaden as well!".  Adrian didn't understand a thing. What did this weird creature have against the Yuki twins? Whatever the reason it sounded really angry. Adrian sneered. Viper really thought he had him captured?! Well if he knew about the submarine, then he would properly reconsider! Ecco had a squad of elite members down here, ready to rescue him. They would figure out that something was not right and rescue him. Adrian just knew. However he really didn't rely on that. He needed to find a way to get out of this mess all by himself. He was looking at the screen now. Viper had told the twins that someone would like to see them after this duel. Someone who had kept a close eye on them all this time. Adrian knew he was talking about the creature in the tank. The twins looked confused around on the screen. Adrian figured that they didn't have a clue what they were talking about. He could hear the eye grin.

"Ah don't worry Jaden! Tara!" The eye said "You two are gonna find out soon enough! You are gonna pay dearly for discarding the way you did! You're suffering has just begun!". Adrian looked in horror. This didn't sound so good.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sneering at Viper. These many attacks he kept sending at her was beginning to set its marks on Tara's body. Her body was tired, her foot was hurting, her eyes were stinging and Tara had a feeling the antidote was beginning to fade away or something. She was beginning to be a little dizzy. She could feel Jaden's hand now. He was properly looking at her right now. Tara sneered inside. There must be way to survive this, without dying or being really tired. Then she remembered Jaden saying something about sharing the pain, and she began to think. They could share their thoughts, they could share their energy, so couldn't they share their pain as well?! Tara looked at Jaden. It had to be possible. 

"Jaden!" said Tara inside her mind and hoped that her twin catched that "Jaden I need your help!". At first nothing. It was like Jaden didn't heard her at all. Then he moved his body a little and squeezed her hand a little again. As a sign that he had heard her. Then he smiled at her. 

"Tara!" he said "Why are we speaking inside our thoughts? You are so close to me right now?!".Tara smiled happily. They were having a mind link in some way. 

"Because I don't want Viper or our friends to hear this!" she said "Jaden you said you wanted to share the pain with me! I can't lie to you! I can't take the pain much longer! But maybe we can change that". Jaden looked confused at her. 

"What do you mean?" he asked. Tara smiled at him and squeezed his hand. 

"Remember Jaden! Until now we had shared everything! Thought, energy, even our emotions sometimes when we were small!" Tara began "So why not the pain as well!But I don't know how!". Jaden looked at her and smiled a little. 

"Maybe if we wish that!" he said and shrugged "We have always done that, in that way! You wished to share your energy with me, so maybe if I wish to take the pain, then it will work!".Tara nodded a little. Then suddenly Viper was yelling.

"Whats the hold up Jaden!" He said "You are stalling! But that won't help you! You both will lose soon enough!". Jaden sneered angry. 

"I am not stalling!" Jaden said and drew. He smiled at Tara and she smiled back. He was ready to test that theory. He summoned "Card trooper" to the field, and activated its eff. By discarding 3 cards, its att raised up to 1900. However it was still weaker than Viper's snake king, and therefore at Jaden's end phase, it lost its att and got down to 400 att. Viper's swamp activated and a snake bite got added to his monster and destroyed it. Tara was squeezing her hands around his neck. 

"Tara, lets see if it works!" Jaden said "I wish to take the damage!". Tara nodded and she wished Jaden would get it. She waited for the jolt, but nothing happened. Suddenly Jaden was screaming out loud and electricity was shown around him. Jaden gasped a little, but a minute later, he smiled at Tara. 

"I did it!" He said proud "I redirected the damage! To myself! Ha we can share pain as well!". Viper looked surprised at them. 

"What is going on?!" He said "Why did Jaden take the damage just now?!". Tara grinned a little. She smiled at Viper. 

"We can share the pain as well!" Tara said "Jaden wanted to take this rounds of pain, and he did it!". Jaden smiled. 

"Yeah! Now I can free Tara a little from it!" He said "You will not hurt Tara all the time any longer!". Viper sneered angry.

"No! Jaden wasn't suppose to be the one!" He said and sneered again "It is not gonna be happy about this!". The twins looked confused. However the duel continued. Because trooper got destroyed, Jaden could draw a card. Viper's turn. He drew and attacked with his monster. He was about to attack Jaden directly, when Necro gardna eff from the grave activated. Jaden removed it from play, and he would take no damage this turn. Viper sneered. He placed a facedown and ended his turn. 

"Hey sis!" asked Jaden and smiled "Give me your strength! Lets show he our power!". Tara nodded and they both drew. A forceful wind appeared around them again and Viper was trying to block the wind pressure who was coming his way. Tara and Jaden looked at each other and smiled. 

"We activate miracle Fusion" they both screamed in unison and fused wildheart and bladedge from the grave and summoned "Wildedge" to the field. Because of Jaden's new monster eff, he could attack every monster on the field. So when he destroyed his king, even if Viper resurrected it, Jaden could attack it over and over, because it counts as a new monster. It was an infinity loop. Jaden attacked and destroyed the snake king. Now he was waiting for Viper to bring it back. However instead Viper was laughing out loud. The twins looked confused at him.

"Why thank you!" He said and smirked "You two are only helping me! Now I can set my ultimate plan in motion! Since you destroyed my king, I can activate this card!". Viper pointed at a trap called "Rise of the sacred deity". Now he could apparently summon his most ultimate monster "Vennominaga the deity of poisonous snakes" to the field. It has the same eff as the king, for every reptile in the grave, she gets 500 points stronger. It now had 3000 att. Tara looked in horror. It was much stronger than Jaden's monster. Secondly another snake bite activates and Jaden's monster lost 500 att. It was Viper's turn now. He attacked with his new monster, destroyed his monster, leaving him with only 300 att. Jaden let out a scream again. He had taken the damage again. Tara sneered. Next time she was gonna take it, she just knew. Suddenly Jaden fell to the ground. He was rubbing his eyes. Tara looked in horror. 

"Jaden! What is wrong?!" Tara asked worried. Viper was laughing a little.

"Your sweet little brother shouldn't have taken that blast Tara!" Viper said and smirked "Because when my snake queen attacks, she leaves a mark! Jaden has just bin poisoned! He now only have three turns left to win or his life points automatically hits 0!". Tara looked at her brother in horror. 

"You can't be serious Viper!" yelled Jesse in the background "Jaden has only three turns to win! Look at him, He can hardly stand!". Viper just smirked. 

"Well he should have though about that, when he took the hits for his sister!" Viper said "If he hadn't done that, Tara would have been hit instead, and he could still duel!". Tara sneered angry. However Viper was right! If he hadn't taken the blast, he would still be in this. Tara slowly embraced Jaden a little. 

"Jaden!" she whispered "Take my energy! Or most of it!". Her hands glowed a little.

"Tara!" Jaden said angry and looked at her "You promised me, you would never do this again!". Tara smiled a little.

"I am not giving you everything Jaden!" she whispered "I am not dying this time! However I think I need to sleep a little!". Then she fell asleep!

Normal p.o.v.

"No!" yelled the creature in the tank. It sounded furious! "Jaden was not the one who should get the hurt yet! Not yet! Tara was the one, who should get punished first!". The eye sneered. However it was so fixated on the duel right now. Adrian in the background could do what he wanted, if he actually could move, but he had noticed the hold on him grew weaker and weaker. Adrian looked at the duel again. The twins was now facing Viper's ultimate creature. The eye was grinning once again. It really liked seeing the twins in pain, now didn't it. He saw Jaden take the blast for his sister and got struck by a holographic snake woman. He fell to the ground. 

"This is your own fault Jaden" The eye said and grinned "But no matter! That torture can do nicely as well!". Suddenly the eye and Adrian looked at the screen. Was he seeing things or was Tara's hands glowing a little. She had embraced Jaden and it looks like she was giving him something.

"Yes Tara!" said the eye and grinned "Help your beloved brother! Give him every bit of energy you have! Then when Jaden loses, all that energy will be mine!". The eye grinned again. Adrian sneered, but maybe that was the distraction he needed. He slowly began moving his arm. If he just could touch his earring, his transmitter, then..! He hit the earring and a big blast appeared. It shut down the pc and the electricity in here. Adrian could move now, and he quickly rushed out of here. Now he just need to shut down this place for good! The eye in the tank turned toward the place it has been keeping Adrian and grinned a little. 

"Someone has been a bad boy!" the eye said and grinned again "Adrian, Adrian run away, come back to play another day! I guess play time is over! But I hope you have fun! Cause I sure did!". The eye laughed a little. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

"Tara!" Jaden yelled angry, but he felt so much stronger. He got up on his feets. His sight also got better. Jaden had a feeling she had taken the poison as well. He don't know how that was possible, but he knew Tara had done that. She was sleeping on his back now, mumbling stuff now. 

"Jaden..zzz!" she said "Just beat them! Will you!zz!". Jaden smiled a little and nodded. He knew she couldn't see him do that, but Jaden didn't care. 

"Tara! I will!" He just said and drew "You sacrifice won't be in vain!". He drew and used the spell "Fusion recovery". Now he could take a hero (sparkman) and polymerization from the grave to his hand. Then he fused sparkman and necroshade into "Ele hero darkbright". Then he equipped him with the spell "Necro shot". With it he could remove three monster's from Viper's grave. Of course it was reptile monsters and his snake queen lost some att. The spell got destroyed and Jaden had send a card from his deck to the grave. It was dark panther. Then Jaden attacked Viper and destroyed his queen. However like the king, by removing a reptile from the grave, his queen is resurrected. Jaden's dark bright's eff lets him switch to def mode now. Viper's swamp gives Jaden's monster a snake bite and he loses some att. It was Viper's turn again. He drew and used the spell "Snake rain" and by sending a card to the grave, Viper could send 4 reptile monsters from his deck to the grave as well and his queen had 3000 att once again. Viper attacks with his monster and destroys Jaden's. However since darkbright was destroyed its second eff activates. When it is destroyed so is the monster who killed it. Sadly Viper's queen couldn't get destroyed by effects. 

"What can he do then?!" yelled Syrus in panic. Jaden sneered. Viper smirked evilly.

"That was two rounds Jaden!" He said and grinned "You have only one round left and then you will automatically lose!". Jaden sneered, but he knew Viper was right. However he was not about to give up. Not by a long shot. 

Adrian's p.o.v.

Adrian was standing in the middle of the hideout. At a giant generator, who was the one machine who powered up the bio band. He was looking at it and smirked. 

"Sorry Viper but I have to shut this down here!" He said and was about to touch the off button. However suddenly was a voice speaking to him. 

"Don't you see Adrian" the voice said and Adrian knew instantly it was the creature in the tank. It was talking inside his mind of some sort. "We both share the same pain! We both want to be loved! We both deserved better! If you help me Adrian, then I will share my power with you! We can both them make things right!". Adrian sneered angry. He was not gonna listen to it. He didn't need power! He was not helping the creature at all. He could hear the creature inside his mind now. It was laughing inside. 

"I can help you get the girl as well! With my power you can get her to love you as well! She will be all yours!" the eye said and grinned "Isn't that what you always wanted Adrian!" Adrian hesitated. Ember! His beloved Ember! She will love him back! They would live together happily ever after. Adrian was rubbing his head and eyes a little. The eye grinned a little. Then Adrian could hear a new sound. It was coming from the headset he was hiding under his clothes. The headset who connected him with Ecco in the submarine. 

"Adrian come in!" she said "Give us your coordinates!". Adrian hesitated. In the end he decided not to. Even though he knew, that if he didn't respond, Ecco and the tag force in the submarine would begin to evade the lap in a minute or too. However if they knew he wouldn't be able to hide where he was. Adrian sighed. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Back at the duel with Viper, Jaden was rubbing his stomach. He has one turn to win this or that poison was wiped out him, Tara and the rest of the life points. Jaden sneered. He just had to win! Viper was smirking. 

"Oh please Jaden!" He said evilly "Let's face it! It is over! As soon as your turn is finished. My queen will wipe your life points and seal your doom! A doom you will share with no one! Not even you sister!". Jaden looked confused at him.

"What do you mean Viper?!" He asked and groaned in pain. This duel was taking its toll out of him. Viper smirked evilly. 

"You are dueling only for yourself Jaden!" He said coldly "You are selfish and don't deny it! You wanted to duel me so badly, and even dragged your sister into this! You could deny my request, but instead you chose the duel, and brought your sister with you! How selfish of you Jaden!". Jaden looked confused at him.

"Why? Selfish? I am not..!" He began but Viper cut him off. 

"Don't you see that every duel you have been a part of, you have dueled because of yourself centered desire to win! To duel regardless how? Like you take the energy your sister gave you, so you can win no matter what! That must be an easy way to live! When you are looking out for yourself and only you! It is a thing I am unfamiliar with! I am dueling for my son and his well being! Infact I am sacrificing you as the pawn, so he can live again!". Viper grinned evilly. 

"But you Jaden, you self centered desire to be the hero, has clouded your mind this entire duel! It will lead to your downfall! To the resurrection of my son!". Jaden looked at his hand and and shook his head a little. Am I really selfish? He questioned. He began doubting himself a little. Then he felt a hard knock at his head. 

"Jaden! You are not selfish!" yelled a voice and Jaden felt like he was deaf. He turned his head around and saw that Tara was awake. She looked tired, but she was awake. 

"Jaden you are my kind and loving brother! How can you be selfish? You care more about me than yourself! Like I care more about you than myself" She said and hugged him "He is trying to get into your head! Don't listen to him!".

"Yeah! What Tara says is true!" yelled Jesse from the background "You are dueling for our wellbeing. For all the students! You are not selfish! You are the most selfless person I know!". The others all came with their own words, but they all stated that he was not selfish and that he needed to pull himself together. He needed to believe in his cards. Tara smiled at him as well.

"Ready!" She asked and had placed weakly a hand at his deck. Jaden smiled and placed his close at hers. He took it, and Tara took the card. They both drew. He smiled and activated the spell "Fifth hope". He took 5 elemental hero card from the deck and added it to his deck. Then shuffle. He drew three new cards, and activated two spell cards "Cocoon party" and "Contact". First he summoned two cocoons, then he evolved them into the two neo spacian "Grand mole" and "Flip". Because necroshade was in the grave, Jaden could now summon "Neos" to the field. 

"And now for something new!" Jaden said and smiled "Three times contact fusion with Neos, Flip and my mole. They will form into Magma Neos!". The others looked surprised when the three monsters combined and turned into magma neos. He had 3000 att. Because of its eff, it gained 400 points for every card on the field. Giving him 1600 att power up. Jaden attacked Viper's snake and wiped out the rest of his lifepoints. He had lost the duel and the twins had won. However then the bio bands activated and created a giant beam. It shot down a shock beam through the whole platform and down to the creature in the tank. Jaden and Viper fell down on their knees, gasping for air. Tara hugged Jaden tightly. The others rushed over and freed Tara from the rope. She jumped slowly over to Jaden and hugged him once again. However suddenly a weird golden creature was standing in front of Viper. It looked like a golden boy with a weird glove. It was laughing. 

"You failed me for making the twins pay!" it said coldly "But I will still use this new vessel and do what you couldn't Viper! Making the twins pay! But you will get your reward!". It changed its shape and a childs face was shown. 

"It is me Viper!" he said and grinned evilly "Your son! To bad you failed me!". Then he grabbed around Viper's face and he disappeared. Just like that. A giant stream of light was surrounding the platform. Then it widened and surrounded the academy as well (only the academy). In the background was Ecco and the tag force on their way into the lap, but they didn't get hit by the light beam. The twins who was closest at the golden boy who had created the light beam, let out a scream. Tara was sitting at her knees, screaming in fear. Jaden quickly hugged her and then the light was too bright for them to see anything and they had to close their eyes. However they could both hear this child voice talking to all of them. 

"The power is floating freely! I can feel it! Now you two will feel my full wrath! Lets go on a little trip!". Then the light surrounded them. When Jaden woke up, he was still sitting on his knees, hugging his sister tightly. The others were standing on the edge of the platform. While supporting Tara and was walking over to the others. 

"What's up!" asked Jaden and smiled "What are you all looking at?!". Hassleberry looked in horror and pointed out in the air. Jaden followed his finger and a horrifying sight met his eyes. The academy and lap was no longer on a island any longer. They were surrounded by sand and in the air was three suns shining. Jaden gasped. 

"This is not the duel academy I remember!" Jim said and actually sounded scared. 

"Where in the world are we?!" Hassleberry asked "Sand all over the place! It looked like a dessert!". Jaden could feel Tara hug him tightly. She looked really scared and Jaden knew already why! This place resembled their dream. However this time it was not a dream. It was a nightmare!!
