Tara's p.o.v.

"Face it Jaden. You are gonna lose this duel" Brron said and laughed. "You don't have the guts to make a stand. This is so pathetic". Jaden leg was shaken. His body was shaken, but somewhere deep inside him was a voice telling him to never give to. His willpower to fight no mater the odds. That and his anger who was boiling inside. This monster had sended his friends away and he was gonna pay dearly for it."Think again" Jaden said and sneered. He managed to get up on his feets "My friends may be gone, but I plan on staying right here. I used to duel for fun, but now I am dueling to avenge what you did to my best friends.. It is payback time!".

"Ahr!" yelled Tara and woke up screaming and gasping for air. Her head was hurting and sweat was running down her forehead. What just happened? Tara was rubbing head a little. Something with JADEN! She took a deep breath. Something happened! She needed to.. Tara then noticed some purple eyes looking down at her. It was Zane!

"Tara are you okay? You woke up screaming?" he said and roaming a hand softly through her hair. Tara could hear his voice sounded worried. Tara was shaking and was looking around. She was not sure where she was. She felt confused.

"Where.. where am I?" She asked weakly and got up on her feets. The image of the dream still haunted her mind. She needed to go!

"Tara! Tara relax" said Zane in a loud voice and placed a hand on her shoulder. He had gotten up as well and looked confused and worried at her. "You are together with me and Aster in the other dimension and are looking for Jesse remember". Tara shook his hand off her and began walking. She hadn't listened to a word he just had said.

"I need to find Jaden" she mumbled in a plain voice "He needs me! I need to find him". Then suddenly she could feel someone had taken her arm. She tried to get free. Seconds later she was pulled into a hug. Tara began seriously fighting now. She was kicking and hitting whoever was holding her. However she couldn't get free.

"Av, Tara stop!" yelled Zane and tried to calm her down "We will find your brother, but you seriously need to calm down now". Tara sneered angry.

"Let me go! Let me go!" she yelled "I need to find my brother! He needs me!". Aster, who had been lying on the ground sleeping still, woke up when he heard Tara's yelling voice. He looked groggy around, and when he saw Zane's fierce fight with Tara, he got up and looked confused at them.

"Um Truesdale what are you doing?" He asked "Any special reason you are holding her like this? Or maybe this is a new way of you two getting some couples time".

"Aster, shut up" Zane growled "Do you seriously think that? Help me make her relax instead". Aster shook wildly his head and looked at Tara.

"No thanks! Last time I tried stopping her from fighting, I got hit in my chin" Aster said and rubbed his chin "I can still feel and remember that blow. But tell me why she is fighting like this". Tara still sneered and hit Zane's arm with small blows.

"She.. is fixating on finding Jaden. I think she has a nightmare and hasn't woken up from it or something" Zane said and sneered "She looks like she can't remember me".

"Oh memory loss maybe as well?" Aster wondered "Hey Tara, do you know who we are?". Tara actually stopped fighting for a minute and looked at Aster. Then she shook her head. The boys looked surprised at her. Zane sighed.

"So what now?" He asked. Aster snort a little.

"Do I look like a doctor?" Aster replied "It is your girlfriend, do something". Zane looked at her. Tara was fighting to get free again. He sighed and did the only thing he could think of. He kissed her! Tara instantly stopped up and a little bit later relaxed.

"Tara remember!" said Zane after he pulled back "Last day we set camp up here and made campfire. You fell asleep in..".

"..In your lap" said Tara slowly and tears were falling down her cheeks "I am with Aster and you Zane in the other dimension". Then she suddenly began crying and placed her head at Zane's chest. She began hugging him as well. Zane looked surprised at her and placed his arms around her as well.

"I had.. such a terrible nightmare" She said and let out a cry "Jaden! I was so scared. He was so angry. Never felt and seen him so angry". Then she began crying again. Zane and Aster just looked at her. Then Zane looked at Aster.

"Hey I know it is my turn making breakfast, but do you mind Phoenix?" Zane said "I am a little occupied here". Aster looked at Tara and then nodded.

"Nah I don't mind. I even think I will make some of my precious tea. She really needs to calm down" Aster said and began making breakfast.

Time skip.

"I was so scared" said Tara and was leaning towards Zane's chest while eating. Aster had made some thin soup from what they had at their supplies with a little hard piece of bread, but Tara didn't complain. Whatever could be eaten, they gladly ate it. Zane was pointing with a stick at the embers in the campfire. He had already eaten.

"Yeah I found out about that the hard way" said Zane and groaned "You hit me pretty hard there. What were you actually dreaming about?". Tara sighed.

"I am not so sure it was a dream!" She began "Or in my part it was a dream, but I think it really happened! In my dream, I was inside Jaden. Seeing things from his view! I saw our friends Alexis, Hassleberry, Chazz, and Atticus got send to the stars! Jaden was pretty angry. I have never felt so much anger! I think it shot me out of the dream and his mind!". Aster and Zane looked confused at her.

"You are telling me you were inside your brother's mind in a dream!" Aster said confused "How is that possible!". Zane smiled a little and hugged Tara.

"They are twins Aster! You have heard twins having strange powers as well!" Zane said "You told me ones, You and Jaden had a connection! So entering each others mind in a dreams. Is that really so strange!". Tara nodded and sighed.

"I always could feel what Jaden is feeling! He could feel mine! Sometimes it affects us, sometimes not!" Tara said and sighed "One time when we were little, I had a nightmare, woke up and began to cry, then a minute later, Jaden woke up and did the same thing. He hugged me while crying, because he could feel my sadness as well!".

"Well that is practical" Aster said and drank some of his tea "So can you feel Jaden right now? Even though you are not beside him? If it is not a dream he must be pretty hurt right?". Tara nodded.

"Yeah I should be able to. We build the connection when Yubel split us up. Wait a minute. I will cheek how he is" She said and concentrated. She felt pretty bad. She had been so happy being with Zane, she had forgotten about Jaden for some time. However after some time Tara frowned. Something was really off.

"Jaden! I can't feel him" Tara said and looked in horror. "Something must really had happened to him, maybe he..lost a duel and gone to the stars.. or worse! I can't feel a thing. Ah what to do?!". She was about to panic a lot when the felt warm arms around her. Zane had pulled her into a little hug and was nuzzling her hair.

"Listen Tara, Jaden could never lose a duel. He is strong! So of course he is not sent to the stars" Zane told her. Tara bit her lip a little.

"But why can't I feel him then?" She said in a worried tone. Aster shrugged.

"Well we have to figure that out" He said "Don't worry we will find him. We are gonna look and find information about him. Just don't rush into things promise?".

"Fine! I promise" said Tara "I just hope he is okay".

Time skip some days later.

Tara was standing still. She was hiding inside some bushes. A bunny was on it's way over to one of the small traps she has made. She felt pretty guilty about killing it, but they needed food to their supplies. Tara placed her hoody from her cloak over her head. Zane had traded one of cards in his side deck for some money and brought her it. Her normal clothes was to unusual and people would recognize her or remember her, if the army asked about strange duelists. She actually didn't want to let Zane buy it for her, but since her beast monsters was to normal a card to sell, she couldn't get enough money. Zane's cyber deck was unusual and therefore a lot worth in money. Zane had just smiled at her stubbornness and brought the cloak to her, whatever she liked it or not. He said it was only a "Proto cyber" card. It could get replaced. Tara had decided to treasure this gift from him forever. Beside hiding her clothes, it was also hiding her duel disk. The army had been more brutal over the few days. Every duelist the army found was captured, brutal if they refused to go with them, and rumors told them, they was brought to the kings castle. Wherever that was. The trio had to be extra careful for now. Tara looked at the bunny. It was her job today to get food. The trio switched chores once in a while. Aster and Zane was collecting information and she had to get the dinner. It was mostly Aster who made the food. He actually didn't mind that, mostly because Zane managed to burn the dinner on one time. Tara looked at the stick she was carrying. A lot of small animal were on it. She was not as good as Zane gathering food. One time he did bring down a wild pig. She heard the sound of the trap close, when the bunny got captured. Tara killed it quickly. You couldn't be picky when you were hungry and had to survive. She tired the animal to the stick and decided it was time to return to the meeting place. Close at a forest clearing.

Tara appeared at the meeting point, happy to be with Aster and Zane again. More Zane than Aster, since he was her boyfriend, but she was also curious if they had gotten any information about her brother and Jesse. She was close at the clearing. She could actually see the two males a little afar away, at some trees close at the clearings start. Zane was leaned towards a tree and Aster was looking up in the sky at the comet. Tara smiled and yanked up in her backpack, and the food on the stick and rushed towards them. There were a lot of trees in the forest and that was properly the reason they didn't notice her. However when she got closer, she heard them talking. Normally Tara was not that kind of girl who listened in on people conversations, but Zane and Aster had been so weird lately. It didn't help when she heard her name got mentioned as well. She hit close by, near a tree. She couldn't be seen, but she could hear what they were talking about.

"Tara sure takes her time" Zane said and looked around a little "Hope nothing bad happened to her". Aster looked at Zane and smiled a little.

"Ah you know her, she can be as fierce as her brother. I think she is just fine. She properly have problem finding food" Aster said and grinned "You had that problem last week. Didn't you end up stealing someone's chickens". Zane growled.

"Shut up phoenix" He said in a cold tone "The village was in ruins and the animal was loose. Figured it was better to take them. Either that or the army will take it". Tara sighed relieved. They were only talking about random stuff and was worried about her. She was about to let her be known, when Aster began talking.

"Are you sure we shall not tell her it soon?". Zane looked at him and snort.

"Keeping what from her? That you got yourself in a fight today?" he said and smirked "For the first time it is not me, who put us all in danger". Aster sneered.

"Haha Truesdale, just continue making fun of me" the DH duelist said and sighed "I mean the information we have about the dark army and the supreme king. Is it really a good idea keeping it from her?". Tara sneered inside. They were keeping information from her? Zane sighed deeply. Then he actually nodded.

"I am worried if she can handle it" Zane said "She could barely handle Jaden in that dream. I don't want to hurt her or put her in danger again. We are in enough as it is".

"I understand Zane, but you know she have the right to know" Aster said and sighed "But I would do the same thing as you, just to keep her safe. I just can't believe these rumors. Jaden wouldn't.. I mean he is too strong!". Zane growled a little.

"Hey maybe they are not true" Zane said and sneered "The rumors. However it was bound to happen someday. Jaden losing I mean. I just didn't think it happened in this dimension, but back home, where I beat his sorry ass. Never figured he would be captured by the king.. if Tara knew..".

"HE IS WHAT!" yelled a voice and Tara walked out of her hiding place. She looked furious. Zane and Aster looked surprised at her. Tara sneered and tossed the stick at them. It sadly did hit Zane, and he sneered in pain. She walked towards them.

"Why. In the world. Didn't you two tell me!" Tara yelled and sneered.

"We wanted to spare your feelings" Began Zane and rubbed his stomach. Tara sneered and walked over and slammed his cheek pretty hard.

"Well you shouldn't!" She screamed in his face "I can't believe you kept such important news from me. I thought we were a team. Jaden! I can't believe what is happening to him right now". Aster took her arm and tried to make her relax.

"Tara, please calm down, we didn't tell you because we knew you would react this way and.." However Aster never got finished, because Tara slammed his cheek as well and he fell to the ground in surprise. Tara looked furious at them.

"You are no better than he is" She yelled and snort "You didn't even persuade him. You are a bunch of idiots you know that. I can handle this just fine!". She hanked up in her rucksack and began walking. The two males looked surprised at her.

"Tara where are you going?" asked Zane and took her arm. Tara sneered.

"I am going out to find Jaden. I am going out to find this king, kick his butt and free my brother" She said and clenched her fists. The boys eyes widened.

"You can't! It is too dangerous out there. We can't just go rushing into things" Aster said "The dark army and the king is not someone you would mess with". Tara snort.

"Well then that king should have thought about messing with my brother either" Tara said "But don't worry I have no intentions to drag you two with me. I don't need cowards. I am leaving this team now!!". The boys looked surprised at her.

"Tara listen! You are overreacting. It is too dangerous going by yourself and.." began Zane, but Tara stopped him, by getting out of his grip and pushed him away. She didn't notice the forceful wind around her. She looked pissed at them.

"No! You two listen! I don't need someone to protect me all the time" She shouted "I can take care of myself! I don't need you, and now I am going out looking for my brother and you dare to stop or follow me!". Then she turned around on her heel and walked away without realising that Zane and Aster was paralysed with fear. They were trembling from her powers and her amber cold eyes.

(A,N: Yep! Tara has amber eyes like Jaden had against the duel against Brron. When she is angry, her eyes change to that color. But when she isn't she has her normal brown color. Just thought you would know.)

time skip. Some days.. maybe a week later.

Tara was running and running through this, stupid in his eyes, dimension. Or running was properly not the right word for it. She was sitting on a "Sonic duck" she had found while traveling through the dimension, so she was actually riding. She was actually not sure how long she has been doing that. She was not sure how many days had passed, since she had left Aster and Zane, but she had surprisingly taken good care of herself. She got food, mostly berries, fruit and water from some a stream, and she found always a place to take a rest. Like a cave or abandoned houses. Sometimes she was invited by villages who was kind enough to give a place to sleep and share some of their dinner with them. This was one of these days. Tara and her duck arrived in a little village, who still was intact. On her way here, Tara had found more and more destroyed places. Villages who had been burned down to the ground and left the rest of inhabit, if there were any, In/with fear, despair and maybe even starving to death. Tara catched a beggar, and gave away her food in exchange for information. Tara asked what had happened here and the beggar replied with one sentence "The supreme king". However whoever she asked, she couldn't get information where the king resided. Tara sighed deeply and was moving her aching muscles. She hoped she could get a place to sleep at. If no one wanted duelists in here, she could always sneak into someone's stable late in the night. Rumour has it that the king targeted duelists and that was the reason he attacked and burned everything down. Tara got goosebumps just from thinking that. She didn't want to know what the king used Jaden for. If he was captured of course.

"Oh my pure child!" said a voice suddenly and Tara saw a elderly woman walking out of a little old house. She walked quickly over to Tara. "You look so exhausted and skinny. Let me help you". Tara sighed relieved, but showed her duel disk under the cloak. She was not gonna get the woman in trouble, if she didn't want duelists.

"I am a duelist ma'am" Tara said and took off her hoodie "I am just warning you. The king could target you because of me". The woman just smiled and touched her cheek.

"Oh my, such a young girl and already a duelist" She said "But we are old and don't fear the king that much. We always take care of stranger who needs a helping hand. You really look skinny my child, when was the last time since you got some warm dinner". Tara smiled and got of her duck.

"I can't remembered ma'am" She said and her stomach rumbled "I hope it is okay I stay over for a night. I have a little Dp (duel points) I can pay you with".

"Oh such a innocent child" the lady said "However we are not gonna take any money from you. Come let's get you inside". She took the reins from the duck and placed it in a stable, gave it some food and water and walked inside with Tara.

"Um this is delicious!" yelled Tara and stuffed her face. They had served some watery porridge, but Tara didn't care. She hadn't had warm food for a while. The lady and her husband, called Elizabeth and Henry, both smiled at her.

"You are welcome to take seconds" said Henry. He smoked a little on his pipe and pointed at the pot on the table. Tara rushed over to it, but then looked at the married couple with guilt.

"But I um don't want to eat you out of the house" Tara stated. The couple just smiled. Elisabeth took her plate and poured some of the porridge on it.

"Such a polite child" Elisabeth said and smiled "But have as much as you like Tara. You are really thin my dear". Henry nodded in agreement and blew smoke out a little.

Tara looked at the plate, but decided to eat a little more. She never knew when she would get warm food again. However a little slower this time. She looked at Henry.

"Um do you know why the king seeks duelists" she asked. The couple sighed.

"We have only heard rumors, but apparently the king wants to duel them I think" Henry said "You know the rules in this world right child? When you lose, the winner can request one wish from the loser. Like their life and they are then sent to the stars. I have heard that if you are really good, the king consider you to join his army, but this is only rumors. We have never heard about the king having humans in his army. They are most likely creatures of darkness. I think the king just likes the pleasure of killing them". Tara sighed and nodded. She figured that much. Elizabeth sighed.

"Why do you ask Tara!" Elisabeth asked "Do you want to join his army?!". Tara dropped her spoon and shook wildly her head.

"No! Not in my lifetime! I only want to find my brother. Rumour has it, he may be captured by the king, but if the king already have sent him to the stars, then I want to try dueling him. I know I might die, but living without Jaden, is just too much". Henry placed worriedly a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't toss your life away child! Your brother surely wouldn't want that!" Henry said.

"I know, but I want to meet the king. I don't think he just let's me leave after I have asked him where my brother is. The rumors says he is ruthless" Tara said. The couple nodded. They told her about the rumors about the burned down villages and the dead of many duelists. Tara listened carefully, and when Henry and his wife was finished, Tara yawned a little. Elizabeth smiled and said she would prepare a bed the living room. Tara nodded. Her and Henry was enjoying the silence for a moment. Tara saw him smoke on his pibe again. Tara was about to ask him something, when a scream filled the air.

"Ahr the king's army is approaching!" a voice yelled and they saw a man run past the houses. Apparently according to Henry, he had been their scout. If he had seen the army, then they couldn't be far from the village. Tara got up and looked at Henry.

"I will try stop them! If the king is with them, I will properly get captured or kick his butt, but if not, then I can surely stop them. I am a decent duelist. So when I distract them, make sure to run far away!" Tara said and grabbed her duel disk and was about to run out of the door, but suddenly turned around and bowed "Thanks for your help and food! I can't thank you both enough!". Then she rushed out of the house. She rushed in the direction where the army was suppose to be and found them 500 meter or maybe a little more from the village. Tara sighed relieved. They were only normal fiends. There wasn't someone who looked like a decent king in any way. Everyone she had gotten info from, states you would know if the king is with them or not. Tara never knew what they meant by that, but people were too afraid to tell about it. Tara clenched her fists and walked towards the fiends.

"Hey your stupid fiends! Are you interested in a fight!" She yelled. The army stopped up and looked at her. Then they all began laughing.

"Cute a girl!" said one of them. He looked like a devil of some sort "She thinks she is a duelist!". The rest of the army began laughing out loud again. Tara smirked.

"I thought the king wanted duelists. I wouldn't be the one who gives the message to your ruthless king, that you ignored a female duelist" She said and grinned "Or are you scared!". The fiends all sneered a little, summoned a monster and tried to capture her. They all saved their wish. Tara activated her duel disk and did the same thing.

"I am ready to kick some butt!" said Jinzo and appeared behind her "So release me please Tara!". Tara smiled and summoned Jinzo to the field. The fiends looked a little at Jinzo, then they snort and attacked. Tara smiled cruelly.

"They are all yours Jinzo" Tara said "But let some live. I need to find out where the king's castle is". Then they attacked.

The army didn't have a chance at all. Tara was fighting pretty well. No one of the fiends even reached the village at all. Tara and Jinzo didn't notice what actually happened around them, only that fiends and dark creatures one after each other disappeared into stardust, which was Tara's wish. She didn't notice the forceful wind who was blowing around her, which made the fiends stop up dead in their tracks. She also didn't notice that her eyes had changed once again to amber gold, and that her, and all her monsters, were to powerful for the army. Finally Tara had reduced the army to three fiends. Two "vampire lords" and a "Skull knight 2". They looked terrified at her. The vampires were hugging each others out of fear, and skull knight 2 was lying on his knees, with begging eyes.

"Have mercy on us please!" He begged. The vampire nodded "We will do everything you say, just don't sent us to the stars!". Tara sneered a little, but then calmed down.

"Fine! Then answer this question!" Tara said coldly "Where can I find the king's castle! And no lies!". The fiends all nodded. They told her they could find it north from here. It was a big black purple castle. If she followed the comet, she will find it a day from here. Tara smirked and looked at Jinzo, who disappeared into his card. She deactivated her duel disk, and took her deck in her deck case again. Then she left towards the house of Henry and Elisabeth. Tara was surprised when she found the old couple waiting for her. They were surprised that she had survived, but gave her some supplies and the duck. Tara thanked them and climbed on board on the duck and rushed toward the kings castle. She was to determined to be tired now.

The supreme king called Haou's p.o.v.

(A,N: I know Haou is the japanese name for supreme king, but I am using this as his real name, and the supreme king is his title. I know he is not so talkative in the series and he isn't in mine either, unless he is talking to the twins. Wonder why?! Hehe! Just thought you would know)

Haou was sitting on his throne in the throne room at his dark castle. He was bored. Conquering this world was just to easy. However 3 of his 5 lieutenant, alias called death duelists, were presence in this room. They were called "Skilled magician white", "Skilled magician black" and "Chaos sorcerer". Haou was pretending he wasn't bored at all. He was sitting straight on the throne and looking out in the air. He was a man, who was really good at hiding his real emotions, and his voice were monotone and cold. He had his helmet on with his visor down to hide his face. Mostly because he then could look around without his lieutenant noticing it. He snort inside. He hasn't had a decent challenge in a while. Was there really no good duelist out there, who had the courage to face him?!

"Your highness!" said Chaos sorcerer and bowed towards him "Do you want the last report on our victories so far!". Haou looked at his lieutenant. Chaos sorcerer was the one who was in charge of the army, new recruits and was actually his right handed man in some way. However Haou was that kind of person who trusted no one beside himself. He looked over at the two magicians. They were there as his royal advisor. They were brothers and was the most collected of all his lieutenants. They were good at gathering informations, both here and outside the castle. Haou looked at Chaos sorcerer. He was looking down at the floor and waited for Haou's reply. It was one of his rules, and his rules were absolute. Haou snort coldly.

"Yes you may!" Haou stated. He really didn't have any interesting to do anyway. Chaos sorcerer lifted his head and looked at him.

"Um well our union we sent out two days ago hasn't reported back!" Chaos began. Haou lifted his eyebrows a little. He was a little surprised by that. They should only destroy a small village. Haou frowned a little. After what the entails stated from the two magicians, there were only farmers who lived down there. Maybe they had been hiding some duelist down there. Haou didn't actually care. If there was any at all, he would sooner or later catch them anyway.

"Do you know the surge of it?" Haou asked coldly. It couldn't hurt finding out why. Chaos shook his head a little.

"I have asked Guardian Baou to figure that out. He had sent some of his spies out, and we are only waiting for his report". Chaos said. Haou shrugged inside. It doesn't matter anyway. Suddenly the door to the room opened and a vampire fiend of some kind walked in. It was his 4 lieutenant called "Guardian Baou". Haou was not really fond of the vampire. He was the spy in his group, and also in charge of the storage of food, together with his last lieutenant Skull knight. Skull knight was also in charge of some other things, but he main objective was to keep an eye out for Baou, since he could be unpredictable. The vampire got a seat as lieutenant so Haou could keep a close eye on him. Baou walked over to Haou and bowed.

"My king, I have news from my spies regards our units" Baou said and waited for Haou's reply. He made a sign that he could continue.

"Our unit is no more" Baou said "A duelist beat them. They didn't reach the village at all". Haou moved a little forward at the throne.

"You don't say!" He said "So who is this strong duelist? How does it looks like?".

"I don't know" Baou said "No one saw it and survived". Haou leaned back again. He was about to say something, when the door to the room opened again, and Skull knight rushed in. He was just catching his breath and then looked at the king.

"Your highness, A girl has entered the castle!" He said and tried to catch his breath.

"And...!" said Haou coldly "Why are you telling me this?!Then just catch her!". Haou couldn't believe how pathetic his soldiers were. Couldn't capture a silly girl. Skull knight looked a little stunned. He looked at the door to the throne room.

"Um not to be disobeying your order my king, but um we can't" Skull knight said and looked at Haou again "She is kind of special. Um and she requests an audience with you. Um actually she threatening us, that if we don't agree to that, she will kill our army". Haou snort coldly. However he was actually curious.

"Let her enter" Haou said. His death duelists all bowed. Skull knight looked a little scared and grabbed quickly Baou, before he left the room again. Haou was a little curious. What duelist was so strong, that even his pathetic lieutenants was afraid of her? Haou leaned back in his throne and waited. Not even a minute after, the doors got kicked up and a girl walked in. Haou looked at her. Then he snort a little. She was nothing special! However then he noticed her eyes and was actually staring. Luckily he had his helmet on. He was actually surprised, and there was really not much who could surprise him at all. So that was the reason, they couldn't catch her. He smirked. The girl walked in, in the middle of the room and looked around. When she saw the king, she sneered angry. Haou was impressed by her bravery.

"Are you that stupid king?" the girl said and snort "You are nothing special!".

"Hey you can't talk to the king in this way girl" Chaos said and began one of these boring lectures. Haou shook his head and Chaos stopped surprised up.

"Let her!" Haou only said coldly. The girl looked surprised at him, but then snort.

"I am here to free my brother" she said angry "So give me him! Then I will leave, and never disturb you or your little puny lieutenants over there". If Haou actually could laugh, he would have done it by now, but laugher was emotion the king rarely used, together with being happy. Haou could be happy, but it was a rarely sight. However he was a little amused. He liked that girl. Had in some way the same view of things, that he also had. He looked at her.

"Oh and who might your brother be?" Haou said and smirked. He had a feeling he knew the reply. The girl sneered cold at him.

"Jaden Yuki!" She yelled "So give me him! Or if you already have killed him, then I challenge you to a duel! FOR PAYBACK!". Haou smirked evilly. So it was really Jaden Yuki's sister. What was her name again? Oh yeah Tara Yuki.

"There is no human with that name in this castle" said one of the magicians. Haou frowned coldly. They were destroying it. These stupid lieutenants. The girl sneered.

"Then I am challenging you to a duel, Stupid supreme king" She stated coldly.

"Your majesty has no time for dueling a little girl" Baou said coldly "But I will gladly accept girly". Haou sneered inside. She was his pray!

"Silence!" sneered Haou and all the lieutenants was shaken a little bit "She is all mine!". All the death duelists bowed, and began walking over to the right side of the room. Haou got up from the throne and a little away from it. He had activated his duel disk. The girl moved a little away, and now they were standing in front of each other. Haou looked at his lieutenants and snort coldly.

"Leave!" he said. The lieutenants looked surprised at him, but left quickly some seconds after. Haou snort coldly. They had no right to watch at all, he stated. They destroyed some of his fun. He looked at the girl and noticed her amber gold eyes. He smirked a little inside.

"So are you happy little girl?" Haou asked coldly "You get to duel me". The girl snort coldly back, and activated her duel disk as well.

"I am not little girl!" she yelled angry "My name is Tara got that! I am gonna get my payback. They say you are pretty good. If you really win, then I will be connected with Jaden in the stars at least! So get you game on!". Haou just looked at her, but inside he was actually amused a lot. So she thinks I am gonna sent her to the stars as a reunion with her brother ehh! If she only knew! Haou smirked evilly.

"Wish?" He said coldly. Tara sneered and looked pissed at him.

"Information about Jaden of course!" she yelled "If not then go to the stars. What is yours?". Haou looked at her. He actually couldn't decide.

"Revealed later" he stated. Tara snort, but the duel began.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was furious! She was beyond angry. She had thoughts about this meeting running through her head a million times. She had even slept on the duck on the way to the castle so she was fully prepared for this duel. Marshmellow had in some way guided the duck. How that was possible, Tara was not even sure. The only thing she knew was that she had woken up by Marshmellow, when they were near the castle. She had kind of only stormed the castle, summoned Jinzo, for some reason he got fueled by her anger, and blasted her way through the army. No planning, no strategies! Just plain old force! Now she was here. Standing in front of the one they called the supreme king and was wondering what was so dangerous about him. Okay the dude was dressed in some black spiked armor and his voice sounded emotionless and cold, but beside that, she really couldn't feel any special things from him. Tara sneered. She was almost consumed by anger, but only almost. A part of her was still logical, and that part began to think. Something was differently wrong here. Why had this stupid king accepted her challenge, just like that? Why had he gotten angry at the stupid lieutenants, when they wanted to duel her? Tara also had a feeling he also got angry, when that magician said that Jaden Yuki wasn't in this castle. Lastly he had let her insult him, but when the lieutenants meddled in the conversation, he kicked them out of the room. Something was differently not right here! The king tilted it's head a little. Tara had a feeling he was staring at her, but he couldn't see his face, with that stupid helmet on. Tara took a deep breath. She had to stay logical and not give in to anger. Not to much at least. She was still pretty angry at the king.

"Your move" He said in a monotone voice and gestured with his hand. Wait was he giving her the first move? Tara sneered. He was gonna regret that!

Tara: 4000Lp.

Tara started off by summoning her "Giant rat" in facedown def mode. Then she placed two facedowns and ended her turn. The king drew and as he did a dark force appeared around him and in some way got tossed towards Tara. She could feel the black wind pressure from him. Okay, so that's what people meant! Maybe he was a little special. She got pushed a little backwards, but Tara didn't want that and tried to get forwards. She actually succeed. Then the pressure disappeared a little.

"I use dark fusion" He said in a plain voice. Tara looked surprised at him. She had never heard of that card. However she got a shock, when she saw, which monster he used for the fusion. He used Burstinatrix and Avian. He combined them into "Evil hero inferno wing". Tara was totally stunned. The king attacked with his monster, but Tara revealed her facedown card "Magic cylinder". Normally it shot the attacking monster's att back and hit its owner's life points, but sadly not in this case. Suddenly Tara's trap got destroyed. She looked in horror at the king.

"Hey what gives" she yelled "Why did my trap get destroyed?". The king snort.

"A monster fused with "Dark fusion" can't get destroyed by spell or traps" He replied in a monotone voice. Tara sneered when her Rat got destroyed and of course his monster also had piercing damage. She lost 1100 life points. (Inferno wing: 2100 att, rat 1000 def) However the king was not finished. He activated the eff of his monster. Since it destroyed a monster in battle and sended it to the grave, he could deal Tara damage to either her monster's att or def. (depends on which is higher) She lost adicional 1400 life points. Tara sneered. Only in one move, she lost over half of her life points. She only had 1500 left. Tara fell down on the ground. Okay so the rumors that he was strong, was not just a rumor. Tara got up from the ground. Since her Rat got destroyed. She could summon another one from the deck in att mode. The king ended his turn. Tara looked pissed at him.

"Where did you get these monsters?" she yelled at the king "You stole my brothers cards!". Haou just snort a little.

"Think what you want" He just said and shrugged. Tara sneered angry. Whatever reason he had these cards, she was still going to beat him. She drew and sacrificed her rat to summon "Jinzo" to the field. The monster looked around.

"Who's the armor guy!" Jinzo said cold when it noticed the king. "Shall we destroy him as well!". Tara sighed a little.

"Just destroy his monster will you!" Tara said. Jinzo destroyed inferno wing, and Tara placed a monster facedown, and ended her turn. Haou snort coldly.

"Is that the best you can do?!" He stated "I am a little disappointed! I thought you were a challenge Tara!".Tara sneered just angry at him. Haou drew again. The black wind pressure appeared again, however this time Tara didn't want to be pushed backwards. She yelled a little and suddenly the pressure was not that bad any longer. She could walk forward suddenly. Tara just shrugged. It was not that important anyway. The king activated "O-oversoul" and got Avian back to the field. Tara sneered. He was using one of Jaden's cards again. Big mean thief! Then he sacrificed Avian to summon "Evil hero malicious edge" to the field. (Att: 2600) Tara was stunned. That was a lv 7 monster. She sneered.

"Hey what gives!" She yelled "That's a lv 7 monster. It needs 2 sacrifices".

"When you have a monster, I can summon it with one sacrifice" He just explained. Tara sneered. Maybe he made up these eff's? However the king attacked with her monster and destroyed Jinzo. This monster of course also had piercing damage. She lost 200 life points. The king tilted his head and ended his turn.

"You haven't notice have you?" Haou questioned in his calm voice "You don't know what is going on around us right now do you Tara?". Tara looked confused at him.

"What haven't I noticed? What are you talking about stupid king?" She sneered.

"Look down Tara" He just said and Tara did as he said. Her eyes widened in shock. The floor was covered in some dark smoke, or Tara thought it was some dark smoke. She actually didn't want to know what is really was. She looked at the king and found out he was releasing that energy from his body. However something was not right here. The energy the king made, was only covering his side of the field. Where did the dark smoke who was on her field. Tara bit her lip and prayed to heaven that this was not true, then she looked down at herself. The dark smoke was released from her body. She was in panic inside. Then she looked angry at the king.

"Wha.. what did you.. do to me?!" she asked. Haou snort coldly.

"Nothing" He said coldly "You did this yourself". Tara shook her head confused.

"No! No! I didn't!" She yelled in disbelief. Haou snort again.

"It is your turn Tara" He said "Or didn't you want revenge on me". Tara sneered, but she did drew. She was in so much panic inside and so confused inside. Wha.t is happening to me? Was he speaking the truth? No I didn't do this on my own, or did I? She was not comfortable with the smoke around her, and she was scared and in panic. She was not really thinking of her next move. She couldn't focus. She just summoned a monster in def mode and ended her turn.

"You are afraid to use it" The king suddenly said "Your power, you shouldn't be". Tara just looked at him. Who was this stupid king? What was happening?

"You lose Tara!" He said "That facedown is Marshmellow". He attacked it, and he was correct. Marshmellow had 500 def and his monster had piecing damage. He wiped Tara's lp's down to zero.

Tara fell to the ground when the match was decided. She sneered angry and slammed the ground pretty hard. She had lost! She had gotten distracted and lost. She saw that Haou's wish treat broke and hers lit up. She sneered.

"Fine your majesty, you have a wish from me" She said coldly "Sent me to the stars, I don't care!". She saw that the king shook his head.

"That is not my wish Tara" He said "I want something differently from you". Tara looked confused at him. He was not gonna sent her to the stars? Then what? Who was this so called king who used elemental heroes just like Jaden. It was heroes, but differently. He couldn't be Jaden. Her brother would never be this evil and order people around. It was not his style! Where was Jaden? Was he really by the stars or? Suddenly she felt some iron cold hand on her cheek and looked up. She had been so lost in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed that Haou had walked over to her and was stooping over her. Then he moved his hand down and lifted her chin and head up.

"You are really her. His sister! He would be happy" The king said in a plain voice "But I suspect he already know. He should have noticed by now". He padded her head a little. Tara sneered and shook his hand of her head.

"Stop touching me!" She sneered "Who are you? What's your stupid wish and where is my brother? Have you sended him to the stars?". Haou took her arm and got her up from the floor. He moved his head towards the doors to the throne room and back to her. Tara could feel his eyes glare at her.

"My name is Haou and I am the supreme king" He said in a monotone voice "As for your brother, he is really in this castle. I have not sent him to the stars. If I did, then let's just say I couldn't be here right now". Tara sneered angry.

"What is that suppose to mean?" She yelled angry "Give me a straight answer".

"As you wish Tara" Haou said and took slowly his helmet of "Hope you can survive the shock". Then he took of the whole helmet. She was staring into two cold amber golden eyes. Then a minute later she was taking a better and closer look. She noticed his face and hair. Some two haired kuriboh hair and her brothers face was looking at her. Tara was shocked. She was blinking and rubbing her eyes a couple of times, not believing what she was seeing. However it was sadly no dream.

"Jaden" she whispered to confirm it was really him. The boy shook his head.

"No Haou" He said coldly "I just told you. I am Haou, the supreme king of this world. However Jaden, your brother's body are my host. I have possessed him. We rule this world together". Tara was staring in shock at him. No shock was not fully correct. She was paralyzed in fear and shock. She just couldn't believe it. Haou looked at her with an emotionless expression.

"And now for my wish. Tara you are gonna stay here in this castle with me. Unless I say differently of course. You don't know how long I have looking for you Tara. Welcome home sis! Welcome home as my second host". Tara gasped. She could feel the wish treat burn and disappear into her body. She couldn't leave now, but she didn't want to either. She had made up her mind that she, regardless his wish, was going to the stars, but then she found out about this! She never imagined that this had happened to Jaden, when she heard he was captivated by the king. She figured he was by the stars, or in a dungeon or millions of other thing, beside this!

"So.. what are you?" She said slowly and then sneered "What are you? A ghost, a spirit, demon?". Haou smirked a little.

"You accepted that quick didn't you?" He said "I am a spirit in some way".

"Then.. then where is Jaden's spirit?!" Tara yelled angry and was about to grab him, but she just couldn't, knowing it was Jaden's body. "Let him go!". Haou just snort.

"He is caged inside his own body." Haou said in a plain voice "And No, Jaden is mine! Just like you are Tara". Tara sneered angry.

"Yeah right, I am no ones. I decide who I belong to, and that is not you. So just try possessing me like you are doing to Jaden, it will not work" She said, crossed her arms and turned her back to him. She fell a hand pad her two times.

"Of course you decide" He said in a calm cold voice "If I would have chosen for you, I would have done that with the wish Tara. I want you to serve me Tara".

"Forget it!" yelled Tara angry and turned towards him. "You may have Jaden, and your wish prevents me from leaving, but I will never serve you!". Haou looked at her with an emotionless expression again.

"We will see about that" Haou just said coldly and shrugged "Chaos sorcerer! Guardian Baou! Come in here NOW!". One or two minute later, the two lieutenants rushed in here. They bowed to Haou, however they were staring at Tara for a minute. Tara could feel the glare from them, who in some way, said "Why aren't you dead yet". Or that was what Tara guessed they were thinking. Haou had quickly grabbed, before Tara could do a thing to stop him, her duel disk and deck away from her.

"Place the girl in the dungeon!" Haou said coldly "And give her one of the biggest cells we have, with fresh air, for the time being". The two lieutenants bowed again and grabbed Tara, who was fighting like hell but she was not strong enough, and got dragged away by them. She took a last look at Haou, before she got dragged out of the throne room. Tara sneered. One day she would beat that evil king spirit and set Jaden free. She was sure of it.
