A,N: Well Here is the next part. I actually didn't want to update this just yet, but the chapter called and called to me and then in the end.. yeah. Lucky you readers. Hope you will like it. Please comment on what you think.

Yubel p.o.v.

Yubel sneered angry, when Zane was about to attack her with his dragon. It annoyed her to no end that he actually managed to hurt her in this duel. In the background she could hear Jaden yell out Jesse's name. She chucked darkly inside. So little Jaden is worried about my newest little toy. Well he should be. Then the blast hit and a lot of dust got created. The others looked stunned at the duel.

"That should do it" Zane proclaimed and gasped likely. Sweat was running down his forehead and Tara was having a worried face and protective arms around him.

"Almost" they could suddenly hear Dark Jesse proclaim and the dust disappeared. Yubel smirked evilly inside "But it will take more than that to beat me. Thanks to this card". Jesse showed them the facedown, he had just activated. It was called "Rainbow path". With it Jesse could chose a crystal on his field, like etc Ruby's and sent it to the grave. By doing that Zane's last attack was negated. Zane smirked.

"Impressive, I am glad you are the worthy opponent I thought you were" He replied. Yubel smirked evilly. She must admit, Zane was an impressive fighter at least. Her eyes wandered over to the scared Tara beside him. Yubel couldn't stop herself from mentally lick her lip. She loved seeing Tara in pain. Then maybe she could finally realise that she should not suggest to Jaden, to sent her away. She was gonna regret that for the rest of her life, because Yubel was gonna see right through that she did.

"Well if that impressed you, then get ready for this" Yubel made Jesse say. His body was so easy to control. She continued "I can also take a card from my deck and add it straight to my hand". She could hear Zane sneer by that. Yubel smirked and took the card she wanted from the deck and added it to her hand.

"And to top it off, I believe it is my turn" Jesse replied. She made the boy draw a card and now looked at the card she had added. "Rainbow dragon" or in this case "Rainbow dark dragon". It was her monster now. Not Jesse's. Although the dragon card was flashing through her hand. From white to black in a infinity circle. She sneered a little angry, and looked coldly at the card.

"Stop resisting me, stupid dragon" Yubel sneered inside her mind, knowing the dragon and all the other beasts could hear her. The dragon growled in her head.

"I am only master Jesse's" It replied coldly back and then hissed in pain.

"No you aren't. I am your new master now" she replied just as coldly. The dragon snort coldly. Yubel sneered coldly inside. Why was this blasted dragon so annoying?

"You know what happened to your master dragon. He is mine" she pointed out. "But if you want me to remind you I gladly will". Yubel chuckled darkly when she remembered the sweet dark memories.

Flashback.

Yubel flew through the darkness. The dark abyss she had created. A prison she was proud to have build. Small pieces of crystals were floating around here as well. It resembled a little of Haou's mirrors, but at the same time not. It worked more as a reminder to her sweet little prisoner. Cute but also pretty annoying. Jesse was not a prisoner who she could call obedient after all. Yubel flapped a little more with her wings. She soon arrived at the only tiny light spot in here. Tied up by crystalised bands was Jesse hanging, tied up at his hands and feets at one big blue crystal wall. It was there Yubel had left him, but sadly he was also surrounded by that pesky dragon, who like Jesse hadn't completely submitted to her. It was changing color from black to white and was protecting Jesse from more of her influence. Yubel might have his body, but Jesse and the dragon was not surrendering their soul to her too. Jesse gasped however from time to time and sweat was shown on his forehead. The only plus was that Jesse had to use a lot of energy to keep her at bay. 

"Master" the dragon slowly warned, when Yubel was floating 2 or 3 meters away from him. 

"I see her.." Jesse said in a weak voice and looked up at her.

"Hello Jesse" Yubel said coldly and smirked. 

"Go away and leave me alone" Jesse sneered in a cold tone "I.. we will not submit to you, so just go away and play with someone else". Yubel smirked at that. Jesse knew she loved playing games. She had already had some mind games with him. 

"Oh Jesse, aren't you tired of saying the same thing over and over again?" She questioned and chuckled "You haven't been fun playing with lately".

"Well serves you right" Jesse just replied with a snort "That is not my problem". 

"You submitted to me just fine, before that pesky girlfriend of yours appeared" Yubel complained in an annoyed tone "Now I have to keep you here, instead of before, when you were conscious most of the time. Now you can't see all the deeds I am doing in your name. Such a shame, don't you think". Jesse snort coldly at her. 

"Well I prefer it that way" he replied and glared coldly back at her "Yubel why are you here? If you are here to mock me, then go ahead, so you can leave again". 

"Well that doesn't give me the right satisfaction, my dear Jesse" Yubel replied and chuckled 

"You are getting used to it. I actually brought you a little present". She could see him jerk by that, and she knew that he knew that he remembered her last gift. That one when she had showed off his newly changed crystal beasts. 

"I don't want any gifts Yubel" Jesse then sneered. His dragon placed a protective wing around him "Beside my body back. That would be nice". Yubel smirked by that. She knew he wanted that already, but she was not gonna free him, before he served his purpose. 

"Oh I hope you reconsider" she replied coldly "She was a bother getting". Yubel moved her hand out in the air and made one of the crystals float over here, and as close to Jesse as his pesky dragon was allowing it. However it was close enough for Jesse to see the picture who was shown there. On a throne, who easily could fit 4 people, was Ember lying. She was unconscious. Yubel noticed Jesse jerk a little. He had noticed himself, his body, dressed in that dark antire Yubel had made for him, sitting on the throne beside her. His hand stroking Ember's hair once in a while. Yubel smirked darkly. She liked the expression Jesse was showing here. He looked rather surprised as well as having fear written all over his face.

"Ember" he then whispered slowly. Then he looked angry at Yubel "What have you done to her? You told me she died. You..".

"I thought she was" Yubel interrupted and smirked "But apparently her spirit, her partner, saved her from the waterfall. It shared it's armor with her. He hasn't showed since. So loyal spirits are. Until their master cast them aside". She clenched angry her fists. Then she got her compose on once again. Jesse and the dragon just looked at her. 

"Aren't you happy to see her? To be reunited with your girlfriend?" Yubel then questioned. "I made the beast get her for you. Now you can be together forever". Jesse sneered angry.

"No, I am not" he sneered and struggled suddenly in his ties "Not as long as you are in charge. Now give me my body back, your dragon fiend or whatever you are spirit".

"You don't have a choice in the matter" Yubel replied coldly and grinned. "Like you pointed out, I am in charge here, which means I can do whatever I want with your little girlfriend".

"No, you dare hurt her!" Jesse yelled up and struggled even more. His dragon roared angry as well. "She is innocent. She has nothing to do with this". Yubel snort back at him.

"Nobody is innocent. Especially when she helps the twins" she sneered back at him "But I might reconsider killing her, if you behave". She noticed that Jesse froze for a second. 

"What do you want from me?" He then sneered. Yubel smirked. He was dragging this conversation out. Jesse knew full well what she wanted from him. 

"Stop struggling against me Jesse. Let me use every amount of power you have" She then told him "Then I will not hurt or harm her in anyway". Jesse let out a deep sigh. 

"Master don't, this spirit is utterly insane" The dragon then said. Yubel snort at that statement. She was not insane. She was just stronger and more powerful. Just like the twins wanted her to be. They were just scared. Jesse sighed.

"You want me as a obedient prisoner eh? Who does whatever you tell them to do?" he then replied slowly "I.. you are despicable you know that. Mind games, using people for your own benefits. If that is the reason the twins got rid of you, then I at least understand them. I am just a new set of tools aren't I, against them?". Yubel smirked.

"You understand me so well, Jesse" she grinned evilly "Yes you are my tool against the twins". Jesse let a single tear fall down his cheek now. 

"If you promise to never hurt Ember by any means. Mentally or Physically then.. then I am yours". Yubel chuckled darkly and flew closer to Jesse. His dragon growled angry. 

"It is a deal Jesse anderson" she then said "Now make that pesky dragon obey me". Jesse sighed and looked at Rainbow dragon. The dragon growled angry. 

"Master you can't consider this..". Jesse leaned into the soft dragon's wing. 

"Please Rainbow dragon, I need someone to make sure Yubel keeps her deal. To not hurt Ember. Please!" He begged "I know you can protect her for me". 

"Master" the dragon replied and sighed. It slowly removed itself around Jesse. As he did, the crystal lit up and began slowly to absorb him into it. Jesse didn't fight it. 

"Are you happy now?" Jesse then said slowly and looked at Yubel "We submitted". 

"I am trilled" she replied and soon after she left.

Yubel returned back to reality and looked at the card in her hand. It was still flashing black and white. She could hear it roar.

"You might have my master for now" the dragon then sneered "But it will not stay like that forever. We will be set free".Yubel chuckled at that and placed a hand on top of Ember's head. She noticed Ember look up at her with widened eyes. The silent spell Yubel had put on her worked pretty well. At least until the duel ended. Yubel needed her concentration after all.

"Well isn't that sweet" she proclaimed "The crystal bearer and his dragon. But you know what happens, when you and Jesse doesn't kept your end of the deal. Then I will not keep mine either. So you do as I tell you to, or the girl get's it".

"Very well then" the dragon proclaimed and it's card turned dark. Yubel snort and looked at the card in her hand. Talk about a dragon with attitude. She looked at Ember and smirked evilly.

"It was apparently a good choice to keep you alive after all girl" she then said and played a little with her hair again before letting go and continued the duel.

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane took a deep breath while waiting for Jesse to make his move. The proud duelist was not feeling so well. Sweat dripped down his forehead and his hand was clenching around his chest. Right where his heart was. It hurt.

"Zane" he could hear Tara say in a worried tone "I am scared and worried about you". Her hand was holding around his arm and Zane could see her worried eyes look at him. Zane let slowly go of his chest and took Tara's hand, making their fingers intertwine with each other, before he let go her again. 

"Don't worry about me, you should be more worried about Jesse. After all when I am done with him, he is the one needing medical attention" Zane said in joking matter. Tara looked up at him with surprised eyes. Then she nodded and hugged him.

"Is that so?" they could hear Jesse say "Well I am eager to see you try. After all when there are 7 crystal beast in total either in my grave or on the field, I can summon my 'Rainbow dark dragon' in attack mode". Light lit up around Jesse. The light from 7 crystals who merged together, and soon revealed a giant black dragon on the field. Rainbow dark dragon. The dragon roared loudly. Everyone's eyes widened.

"I never thought I would see this beast in battle" Zane said and smiled weakly "I am looking forward to slaying it".

"Yeah that oversized lizard is no match from my big brother" He could hear Syrus yell in the background. Zane couldn't help but smile. It was good with some support once in a while. He also noticed that Tara nodded at that statement.

"But Syrus with 4000 att points, if Zane get's hit, this match will be over, and Zane will be sent to the stars" He could hear Dr. Crowler say in the background now.

"Unless of course he find the strength to win" Bastion added. Zane snort inside. He was clenching his chest again. His heart was beating of of rhythm and slower than normal, but he still couldn't stop smirking. Jesse made his dragon attack. However Zane was ready for him. Apparently his barrier dragon was ready for him. If it was in att mode, it could block Jesse's attack once per turn.

"Bravo" commented Bastion and Crowler sighed relived. Jaden on the other hand was not so calm, neither was Zane. Something was wrong here.

"Hehe, that eff won't work" Jesse then commented "Because of my field spell, when my dragon attacks you, your dragon's abilities are canceled out". Zane looked in horror at his barrier dragon. That means Jesse could still attack him. Rainbow dark dragon attacked his barrier dragon and made Zane's life points go down to 200. Zane groaned in pain. His heart couldn't take the stress.

"Zane fight it" he could hear his friends yell in the background.

"Zane" Tara said worried. Tears were running down her cheeks now "Please you..".

"I am not cancelling the duel Tara" Zane sneered in a low voice and hissed in pain. "I will duel. I have to..". Tara placed her head at his back. She didn't say anything.

"I play a facedown" he could hear Jesse say "It is your turn. If you can that is". Zane sneered. It was true he was not feeling well, but he was not about to give up. He would show Tara the joy of dueling. I am going to enjoy wiping the field clean of that dragon. I know I have enough strength to win this fight, and if I have to, I will use every last bit of it to make sure I do. Zane couldn't stop smiling at that.

"Are you okay? Zane" Jaden questioned worried. Zane snort and drew.

"Jaden I have never felt better" he proclaimed. At least in spirit. He activated the spell "Photon generator unit" then tributed his two cyber dragons, to summon his "Cyber laser dragon" to the field in att mode. (2400 att, 1800 def). Then he activated its eff. It could destroy a monster on the field who had higher att points than laser dragon. Etc Jesse's Rainbow dark Dragon. Jesse looked shocked at him.

"Oh no, with my dragon having 4000 att, you can't" Jesse yelled at him.

"Do you wanna bet" Zane proclaimed and made Laser dragon fire a beam at the dragon. However to everyone's surprise Jesse's dragon was alive.

"Once again you almost had me" Jesse proclaimed "But you see by sending a crystal from my field to the grave, it negates my dragon's destruction".

"You are joking" Zane sneered angry back at him. Jesse just smirked and sended amethyst cat's crystal to the grave. Leaving him with one more crystal on the field.

"You know it, but the jokes are on you Zane. It is gonna be me, who gets the last laugh, once I destroy your dragon". Zane sneered. He played a facedown and ended his turn. Jesse drew and attacked quickly with his dragon. Zane was ready for him and activated the trap "Cybernetic hidden technology". Now by sacrificing his laser dragon, Zane could now destroy one of Jesse's attacking monsters. Like his dragon.

"So I would say that is a pretty good trade of" Zane proclaimed.

"But Zane, has left himself defenseless" Crowler proclaimed surprised.

"He must have a strategy" Bastion added.

"I hope so" Syrus replied "If not, Zane will be finished".

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara looked shocked at the duel in front of her. Moves were countered from left and right. No one of them would give an inch. Jesse having his stupid dark dragon on the field, while Zane tried with all his might to get rid of it. Tara couldn't stop herself from crying. She knew Zane was not well. The gasping sounds who was coming from him. The sweat who was running down his forehead, and that he grabbed around his chest where his heart was suppose to be, gave of many warning signals to Tara. However on the other side, she had never seen Zane smile like that. Even considered his health, he was enjoying himself to the fullest. Tara couldn't even be mad at him. She just couldn't make herself stop this duel. Not will Zane was smiling like that. Zane had just sacrificing his laser dragon in an attempt to kill Jesse's dragon.

"With Yubel controlling Jesse, Zane got to dig deep if he want's to win this duel. I just hope his last moves pays up" She could hear her twin comment. Jesse smirked.

"Even though you sacrificed you monster, I just take this crystal and sent it to my grave, to save my beast" He told them and grinned evilly "Don't you get it yet Zane, your attacks are pointless". Tara jerked a little when Jesse's voice changed a little bit.

"You sure about that?" Zane then questioned and made Yubel/Jesse look puzzled.

"Yeah why you ask?" She sneered annoyed.

"Because, like you, I too had a plan" Zane explained "You are out of crystals, which means you are out of ways to save your dragon". Jesse looked down at his field.

"Clever, but look at what you have left" he replied "Not a thing. No monster's, no spells and traps, no defense. What kind of plan is that? Even your hand is empty".

"Maybe, but if this is my last match, I am gonna make it count. Just so you know it" Tara could hear Zane reply "You see, I dueled all over this crazy world, and in all sort of places. I battled in stadiums, and underground arena's, and you know what, looking back I realised I was missing something back then". Tara felt a hand on top of her head now. She looked surprised up to see Zane had placed it there.

"I didn't have someone to duel for" Zane then continued and gave Tara a tiny hug "I realised I had all the glory, but I missed out of having any of the fun and support. Like I have now. So if this is the last duel I ever take part in, I can guarantee than whether I win or lose, I am going to enjoy every last move". Tara looked surprised at him. These words made her heart race, as well as think. Zane was dueling for her. He was really dueling for her. However at the same time, his words made her remember things, and the fun part was, she knew her twin was as well. She could feel it. The locked eyes between them in that moment, proved it. They both looked over at each other when Zane was finished with his speech. She could see the regret in Jaden's eyes, but also the hard truth, Zane just had told then. Where were all the fun? Their third year had been all but fun. They had dueled at first for the fun of it, but as time goes on, they were more or less dueling to survive. To survive another day in this sticking dimension. One of the reasons Tara didn't want to duel. She didn't want to duel anyone else, because she was worried for their lives. However here Zane was, about to die and then he was still dueling with heart and wanted to enjoy himself. He was dueling for the fun of it. These words stung. Tara know deep down knew, she had to duel again, but she was not sure if she was ready yet. She squeezed Zane's hand.

"You know what. I am sorry" they could suddenly hear Yubel say and she smirked evilly "Sorry that in your last duel, you are not gonna get any of the fun or the glory this time". Tara clenched her free hand. She let go of Zane's hand.

"Shut up!" Tara said in a low voice and she noticed Yubel was looking at her.

"Huh? Did you say something Tara Yuki?" she could hear Yubel mock "If you want me to know something, you have to speak louder". Tara sneered angry.

"I said.. Shut up!" she then yelled and everyone went silent "You dare mock my boyfriend Yubel. Zane is an amazing duelist. You can try to hurt me, threaten me, try to kill me, and try to keep me away from Jaden. I can actually live with that, but you will not mock My Zane any longer. If you do, then.. then I will fight you". Silence surrounded the field now. Jesse was not smirking at much as he did before. Tara was not sure it was because she had gotten the strength to fight back or because she had actually challenged Yubel out in the open. Tara actually felt embarrassed now.

"See, I told you, you have courage" she could then hear Zane say and his hand grabbed hers again "Yours are not like mine, but it is shown when you want to protect something". They could hear Jesse sneer angry.

"Just make a move" He said in an annoyed voice.

"Yeah don't listen to him Zane, because it is your turn to shine" Tara could then hear her brother say "And beautiful speech sis. I am very proud". Tara was red in embarrassment now. Syrus was also cheering his brother on like hell. "You know it Sy" Zane then replied and looked at Tara "Will you draw with me Tara? Will you face your fear and draw with me?". He was holding her hand toward the deck, but did stop up, so he didn't force her to do anything. Tara's hand was shaking.

"I.. I don't know" Tara whispered. All her courage from before had disappeared.

"Tara, you can do it!" she could hear Jaden yell "You can duel again. You just need courage. I know nothing will happen. You will not hurt anyone ever again Tara. Only if you want to. You and only you decide. No one will force you". Tara looked scared at Zane's deck and the duel disk. She gulped a little. Her hands was shaking.

"I.. I just can't do it" she then proclaimed and hit beside Zane now. She had gotten out of his grib and looked scared up at Zane. Like he would hurt her.

"Tara" She could hear Jaden say a little disappointed "You don't have to be afraid".

"Really encouraging Jaden" Bastion proclaimed and snort "You can't even use polymerization, and then you want to encourage you sister?". Tara could see Jaden freeze by that. Tara let out a little cry. She was so scared.

"It is okay Tara. I am not angry at you" She then could hear Zane say "You duel when you feel like your ready. When you have the courage to do so. However watch me duel. Watch me and believe in me okay?". Tara looked surprised up at him. Then she smiled a tiny smile and nodded.

The duel continued. Zane drew and summoned the card "Cyber Valley".

"Now how do you plan on beating me with that? That card is useless. It has absolutely no attack and defense points" Jesse then proclaimed. Zane snort.

"But it has three very special abilities, and I get to chose one of them" he told him. Zane chose the cards second eff. By removing this card from play as well as his trap "Cybernetic hidden technology", he could draw two more cards. One of them was "Overload fusion" which he played right away. If he removed his three cyber dragons, as well as his laser dragon and barrier dragon, Zane could now summon his "Chimeratech fortress dragon" to the field in att mode.

"And with him out, you don't stand a chance" Zane told Jesse.

"I don't think so. It looks like your dragon is just as weak as the last one" Jesse said. Tara looked up at the dragon. It had 0 att, but Tara still believed Zane could win.

"And just as dangerous" Zane then replied "You see, even though my dragon doesn't have any bite to destroy a monster it attacks, it's eff sure makes up for it. You see when it attacks, your life points take 400 points of damage". Jesse snort coldly.

"Well bring it on" He then said. Zane eyes narrowed.

"Oh I intent to, cause for every monster I sacrificed my chimeratech now gets to attack the same number of times" He then explained "You want me to bring it on. Well consider it brought". Tara looked surprised at Zane when he made his monster attack Jesse's dragon. Luckily it's eff prevented that Zane took any damage when his monster attacked. However Jesse was not so lucky. He got 400 points of damage. Tara looked stunned now. Zane could attack as many times as dragon he removed, which means.. Jesse would be out of life points. He attacked 4 times and made Jesse's life points go down to 300. Zane only needed one more attack and he would win the duel. Tara crossed fingers for his victory. However she had a bad feeling about this.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was very conflicted about the duel he was watching here. Both were good friends of his. Both dueled with everything they had, however it didn't make Jaden less worried. He of course hoped Zane won. Mostly because his wish would make Yubel leave Jesse. However he was also worried that Jesse couldn't take all the blows Zane kept sending at him. Zane had just attacked with his final attack at Jesse. It was that attack who should make Zane win and Jesse's life points drop to zero. A lot of dust got created. However when it disappeared, Jesse was apparently still standing. To everyone's surprise.

"Disappointed? Bet you thought the duel was over" Jesse questioned and smirked "But thanks to this, you and I are not finished dueling just yet". Jesse showed them the trap "Rainbow light". With it, by discarding a card in his hand, all the first 4 attacks Jesse got hit with, instead got added to his life points. The only damage he took was from Zane's last attack, giving Jesse a life point score on 3100. Jaden looked in horror. This was not looking good at all.

"Hehe, so tell me Zane, was that move a real heart stopper, cause you are not looking too good" Jesse mocked and grinned evilly. Jaden looked over at Zane and noticed that Yubel told the truth about this. Zane really didn't look good at all. He had gotten more pale and the sweat was dripping down at him now, while he clench his chest, like his life depended on it, which it properly did. Jaden had a feeling the only reason he was still standing was Zane's will and determination. That and Tara who was helping him from the background as well. Zane looked weakly at Jesse.

"Listen up. As long as I have a card to play. It ain't over" He told them all and placed a facedown. Jaden looked surprised at Zane.

"But Zane, your hand is empty" he mumbled. Jesse snort at that.

"Alright well if playing a face down is the best you can do, then Maybe I shall put you out of your misery" Jesse concluded and drew. He made his rainbow dark dragon attack Zane, however he was ready with a facedown spell called "Dimension explosion". With it he could return his fortress back to his extra deck and he could now summon 4 dragons who was removed from play. Like etc. his three cyber dragons and cyber valley. Since Cyber valley was back, Zane activated its first eff. By removing it from play the battle phase stopped and Zane could draw a card.

"Well you certainly live up to your reputation Zane" Jesse then said and ended his turn "However I have something you don't have. Time, and from the looks of it, you won't be around for much longer". Jesse had just said that, when Zane fell to the ground, gasping for air now. Jaden was sure he looked even more sick that before.

"How can the poor boy keep dueling?" Crowler questioned "It is even amazing he could last this long". Jaden clenched his fist by that. Zane was not done yet.

"He is a fighter" Bastion proclaimed "And he will keep fighting".

"But he won't last forever" Tanja added with a sad smile.

"You are wrong" Jaden could hear Syrus say. Jaden placed a comfortable hand on his friends shoulder. Syrus looked surprised up at him.

"Yeah we can't give up. Zane has been through worse, and Tara is with him. He will find a way to win this battle" Jaden reassured him. He just hoped he was correct.

"Zane" Tara said worriedly and tried helping him "Zane come on you have to get up".

"Yes by all means, make him stand little Tara" Jesse said in a mocking voice "Let him get up so he can be knocked down again by me". Jaden tensed by that. Yubel, please, don't do this. Get out of Jesse, and please don't torment Tara anymore.

"Tara just stand back" Zane told her and got shaken up on his feets "I have a duel to continue". Jaden could see his sister's crying face now. She didn't want him to be hurt, and in worst case die. Zane's hands was shaken a little.

"Zane.. You don't have enough strength to keep dueling like this" Tara said slowly.

"I have enough to win" Zane said stubbornly and drew. However his hands was so shaken, that he dropped the two cards in his hands to the ground.

"You are in a terrible condition" They could hear Jesse say "How in the world could you ever think of beating me. You can't even hold your own cards". Zane sneered angry at that. Jaden clenched his fist and was about to yell something, however someone was quicker.

"Be quiet" Tara yelled and sneered angry at Yubel "I told you not to mock my Zane ever again. If he can't hold his card then.. then.. then I have to do this". Tara took a deep breath and Jaden could hear her mumble "I can do it. I can do it".

"Tara, I am with you" Jaden then said inside his mind and hoped Tara could hear him. She did look over at him. Regret was shown in her eyes now.

"Jaden I..". Jaden shook his head and smiled.

"It doesn't matter. We will solve our problems later. The only thing you shall concentrate on is these cards" He interrupted "Pick them up Tara. Have courage". Tara nodded and looked at the two card. Then she let out a little scream, and closed her eyes, and grabbed them. Jaden smiled. He could see his sister's stunned expression now. She looked dumbfounded on the cards.

"I.. I did it" she said surprised and then smiled happily "I drew cards!".

"Congratulation Tara" Zane said weakly and smiled "Can you play the cards as well?". Jaden could see Tara's stunned face. However now she was determined.

"Play 'Powerbond' for me" Zane then said and was holding his disk near her. Tara was shaken a little, but Zane guided slowly her hand at the disk and Tara dropped the card. Tara eyes were filled with happiness. At least for a little while.

"I played the card" She said in a low voice "I dueled and no one died". Jaden's eyes widened. He knew what had been blocking Tara now. She was like him having a mental block. He blamed Polymerization and it's power from when he was the king. Tara did it on dueling itself. She didn't want to hurt anyone any longer.

"Tara, dueling is a necessity" He then yelled "You don't have to be afraid. Remember you chose now. You are not ordered to do anything you don't want to. If you want to duel, then duel. Haou will not decide for you or order you any longer". Tara looked surprised up at him. Then tears began floating down her cheeks again.

"That is right. I can chose, I can duel. I.." She turned towards Yubel "And I will beat you Yubel. You will leave Jesse forever". Jaden could see that Yubel looked pissed at her now. However Zane quickly interrupted before she could reply Tara.

"We have a duel here people" He reminded them "I fuse my three Cyber dragon's to summon 'Cyber end dragon', with Tara's support". His dragons got fused and well in it's place Cyber end dragon was there. Because of power bond its att doubled. The dragon was now having 8000 att. Jaden couldn't stop smiled at that move. He remembered it like it was yesterday him and Zane had been dueling at the graduation duel at their first year. Zane and Jaden had given their all and the duel had ended in a tie. There had been things on the line as well. Zane would had broken up with Tara if he won, but because of a tie Zane decided Tara could chose. She had chosen to be with him. Just like she had now. Jaden also remembered that Zane had given him the responsibility for the school and his sister, when he left duel academy. He had tried to live up to that responsibility. Now Jaden knew he also had take responsibility again and protect Tara and beat Yubel. Zane, you were the best then, and you are the best now. I will protect Tara don't worry.

"Ahr, that beast has so much power" Jesse then complained and sneered.

"A new dawn is rising" Zane then yelled and took Tara's hand in his "It's unfortunate, you are not around to witness it Yubel. This duel ends with your destruction. You are never gonna lay a hand on my girlfriend ever again".

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane couldn't stop smiling, when he saw Tara pick up the cards he deliberately had dropped. It was not a lie that his heart was gonna give. It wasn't a lie that he properly couldn't last long in this duel, but hold his own cards, he still could. Zane would properly not tell Tara that part though. She needed to duel again. Without her and Jaden, there wouldn't be any chance of them surviving this. The twins needed to duel. After all, truth to be told, Zane was sure he wouldn't last much longer, which meant only the twins could duel good enough to beat Yubel. He knew Syrus couldn't. Ember couldn't either because Jesse tied her to him in some way. Dr. Crowler.. well who was he kidding there. He couldn't save anyone and let alone Jesse. Bastion wasn't much help either. Which leaved the torn twins with their mental block. Zane always wanted a epic final duel. He wanted to die with no regrets, and now one of these regrets was that he was not gonna leave from this world, before his beloved Tara could duel again. Even though he had to trick her a tiny little bit. It also helped that Jaden was supportive towards his sister again. Those two needed to bond again. Tara picked up the cards and he played "Power bond". Jesse looked surprised at Zane's dragon.

"Ahr, that beast has so much power" he then said. Zane snort inside. That's right Jesse, nobody is walking away from this duel. If I gotta go, then I am talking with me whatever dark spirit is controlling you.

"A new dawn is rising" he then yelled and took Tara's hand in his "It's unfortunate, you are not around to witness it Yubel. This duel ends with your destruction. You are never gonna lay a hand on my girlfriend ever again". Zane could see the others around him, look a little stunned at his words. Even Tara looked surprised up at him.

"Don't worry" Zane whispered to her "I will make certain, you are gonna have happy life. Even when I am not around here anymore". Tara looked shocked up at him.

"But Zane I..". However he interrupted her with a quick kiss on her forehead. He looked over at the Yubel possessed Jesse. He could hear Yubel chuckle. Yubel has been possessing Jesse this entire duel, just like that Ember girl pointed out. However if I can draw it out of Jesse, then maybe I can defeat it, sent it to the stars while saving Jesse in the process.

"Come on" he could hear Jaden say in the background now "That last move, scared the evil controlling Jesse. Yubel is afraid, cause I think it realises that Zane is not looking to save himself anymore. He is gonna sacrifice himself and the duel to take Yubel down with him". He had just said that when an aura of Yubel manifested herself and in some way wanted to intimidate Zane. He could wasn't scared at all, but Tara was another case. She let out a little whimpy cry and hid behind him once again. Zane sneered a little. One more reason to take Yubel down before he left. No one hurt Tara one his watch. Yubel returned to Jesse of course. She was apparently not fond of leaving to far from her new host. However her aura was still shown around Jesse.

"Oh little Tara is scared. Serves you right" Yubel said and chuckled. Then she looked at Zane again. "The only way you can defeat me, is to destroy your friend Jesse". Yubel laughed again. Zane noticed Ember's sacred eyes. Zane couldn't stop smiling for a bit. Ember of course loved Jesse and didn't want him to die.

"We will see about that Yubel" Zane proclaimed and attacked with his dragon. However Yubel was ready for him. Jesse activated the trap "Counter gem". With it he could bring back crystal beasts from the grave, to his spell and trap card zone. He chose his tiger, Ruby, his cat, his turtle and pegasus back. Then he activated the eff of his dragon. For every crystal beast who was now sent back to the grave again, his dragon gained 1000 att points (4000- 9000). it had 1000 more att than Zane's dragon.

"It is too strong" they could hear Crowler say.

"Come on Zane" Jaden cheered him on like hell. Zane smirked and suddenly began laughing out loud. The others looked puzzled at him.

"Laughing? What could possibly be so funny?" Jesse questioned "Your dragon is outmatched. You can't beat me no matter what you do". Then Yubel chuckled evilly.

"How does it feel, knowing that you failed. You are not gonna defeat me or saving Jesse" Yubel then said. Zane snort at that and took his last card back from Tara.

"Hmm, that may be, but at least I am going out on my own terms" Zane countered "I play 'cybernetic zone' and remove Cyber end dragon from play".

"You what? You just destroyed the only chance you had of winning" Jesse yelled at him. Zane really didn't care. He fell to the ground again, clenching his chest, while gasping because of the pain. Tara was kneeling beside him with tears sticking out of the corner of her eyes. Zane was surprised she still had tears left. He smiled a tiny smile and rubbed them away from her face. Seeing her smile was much better. Then a big rumble could be heard, and behind him now, was Cyber end dragon rising again. He had ended his turn, which meant that Cyber end dragon would return to his field, however it had doubled its att points.

"What happened? And why does his dragon have 16000 att points" Yubel/Jesse screamed in shock. They all stared in awe. However Zane knew he had lost.

"But it will cost me" He then said and closed his eyes "I still must pay for playing my power bond. Cyber end dragon's original att points, return to me as damage, and it is a lot more than this old heart of mine can handle. I am so sorry Tara". The damage from power bond returned to him and his life points hit 0. at the same time, Zane's heart once again stopped and he felt weakly to the ground. Defeated.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden looked shocked as the duel now ended. Jesse was being the victor. He couldn't believe that Zane, even through all this obstacles, lost the duel. On his own terms but still. Tara was crying by his side now. Zane was not death, but he was really weak.

"It is over then. The duel is mine" Jaden could hear Yubel say. He could see Yubel touch Ember on the head and she was able to speak again.

"Zane, Tara" she yelled. "Please forgive me. Forgive me and Jesse".

"Oh and that is the first word you say. Well isn't that lovely" Jesse said sarcastically. However Jaden and the others really didn't have time to talk with Yubel. They all rushed over to Tara and Zane. Tara and Syrus were calling for Zane. He did move a tiny bit, but was gasping for air. His wish treat lit up as well. Jaden looked in horror and turned around and looked at Yubel/Jesse.

"No Yubel, don't do this!" Jaden shouted at the spirit "Don't take Zane to the stars. You wanted me. I know that is what you always wanted. You can duel me and then try to get me. Just don't sent him to the stars please". He could hear Yubel chuckle.

"Is that begging I hear my dear Jaden? I must admit that suits you quite well" He could hear Jesse say and smirked "But you are wrong. You are not the only one I want. Your sister is just as important". Jaden looked surprised at him.

"But oh we will duel Jaden, and so will your sister. However this is not the time or the place" He could hear Yubel continue and then suddenly grabbed Ember in the collar of her shirt and lifted her up, like she was just a little kid, and began leaving while carrying her under one of the arms. Ember was of course fighting like hell, but for some reason Jesse/Yubel ignored it.

"Your chance will come Jaden, but since you are behaving so nicely, I will let Zane live in like 1, and a half minute. Make it count" Yubel then said "I will be waiting on the other side of the door. Don't take too long now". Then he disappeared through the door. He could hear Yubel laugh as well as Ember yelling and cursing at her. Something with that she had her own legs to walk on and stuff.

"Jaden, Tara" they could suddenly hear Zane say and Jaden rushed over to him. Zane was sitting up, while his friends were supporting him. Tara was crying at his chest and while Zane had weak arms around her. Jaden kneeled down as well.

"Yes Zane?" He questioned. The Cyber duelist looked at him.

"Promise to be careful. The darkness inside of him is strong. Yubel is powerful" He then said and smiled a little "I gave everything and lost, but I know that you two can beat Yubel and save Jesse. Once more Jaden, I give the torch to you".

"Zane stop this talk now" Crowler said in panic "We will get you home". However everyone else, even Tara, knew that was not the case. Jaden nodded. He remembered that Zane had given him a similar speech when he left DA. Between the lines he was telling Jaden to take care of Tara for him.

"Tara I am so sorry" Zane then said and made the distressed girl look up at him "I wanted to free your pain and misery, by beating Yubel, but I was not strong enough. At least I am glad you dueled with me. Although it was rather short".

"Zane" Tara said slowly "Please don't leave me. If you have to leave. Then please take me with you. I don't want you to go". Zane kissed Tara on the forehead, while wiping away her tears. Then he looked at Jaden and took weakly his hand over Tara's and made them both look at each other.

"Tara, don't cry. It doesn't suit you crying" Zane then said "Your smile is much better. Be strong and guide Jaden. You two need to talk and solve your issues. Promise you will do that after I leave". Jaden and Tara both looked shocked at each other, but they both nodded in agreement. Zane smiled a tiny smile.

"Big brother, don't leave" Syrus cried "How can I live without you. I need you".

"You don't need me any longer Sy. You just don't realised it yet. But know this I am very proud of you, and always will be" He then said "Watch the twins for me okay?". Syrus nodded quickly. Everyone was crying now in some way. Jaden could feel tears fall down his cheeks as well. Then Zane began glowing. He looked quickly over at Tara and smiled a big, wide smile.

"Be happy Tara. I love you very much" then he disappeared into stardust.

"Zane!" Tara and Syrus yelled in unison. Both of them letting out a sad cry. Jaden sniffed a little as well. Everyone was having that moment of silence, beside the sobbing cries from everyone. Then Jaden got over to his sister and pulled her into a big hug and rubbed her back. He could feel she needed it. Tara sniffed slowly.

"He.. Zane wanted this" she then whispered "He wanted to have a epic final duel, with me by his side. I should be happy for him. He wanted me to be strong. He got what he wanted, but.. I can't stop crying. I just can't. He is..". Jaden nodded.

"Tara it is okay. You loved him. You just wanted him to be with you, and not leave you but.. You know Zane. We are all sad he is gone" he then said "It is okay for you to cry sis. Cry your heart out if that helps". Tara sniffed a little and hugged Jaden.

"I will not forgive Yubel for this" Tara then said "She took all our friends".

"Don't worry she won't" Jaden promised "We will give her a scolding she never forgive. Something I should have done many years ago. However before that I believe we need to talk sis. We have stuff to discuss". Tara sniffed again.

"Yeah, I know" she then said in a harsh voice "But can't we stay like this for a little while later?". Jaden nodded slightly. Tara let out another cry and Jaden comforted her the best he can. The others also needed a little time to mourn. For all the friends they actually lost in this dimension. Jaden looked up in the sky. Yubel, I am coming for you!

A,N: Wahh! It was such a sad ending. Or so did I feel. However well it had to happen sadly. Hope you still liked it though. The next chapter is mostly Ember's. It is the duel with Adrian and Yubel/Jesse, and well she just happens to be caught in the middle. However some things are revealed about Adrian, you properly didn't know. Hehe. Tara and Jaden talks things through and Tara makes a new deck of the cards she has. She is able to duel. Sort of. Hope it sounds interesting at least. But it will take a while before updating though.
