Jaden's p.o.v.

"Jaden! Jaden! Wake up!". Jaden slowly opened his eyes and was staring into two brown eyes he was very familiar with. Jaden blinked a couple of time and was then slowly began to move. His head was aching a little.

"Alexis" he said slowly "What happened? Where are we?". He felt warm hands around him and was now leaning against a wall of some sort. The sky was dark and there were weird rock formations who could look like trees. They were trying to reach the sky. Jaden was apparently leaning towards one of them. They were as hard as a wall of course. Jaden looked up in the sky. It was apparently night now?!

"We are in the other dimension! All thought Bastion says it is not the one we were in before" She says and touched his head a little. Jaden felt a little pain when she did.

"It doesn't look like you are to bad hurt" she concluded "You got a little bump on your head, but not so bad that you have concussion. Maybe a little headache though!". Jaden rubbed his head, and then he remembered Alexis words. The other dimension thing. Everything began floating in. Jesse, the duel, Yubel, the portal and..

"Tara!" Jaden flew up on his feets "My sister? Where is she?". Jaden looked quickly around, but the only one he could see was the other friends together in a group and Bastion was sitting at the ground scribbling. Properly making a new formal thought Jaden. However he didn't think more of it. His sister was more important.

"Jaden! Jaden!" said Alexis in a loud voice to catch his attention "No one has seen your sister after we entered the portal. Bastion thinks she may ended lost in it". Jaden sneered and slammed his hand at the wall. He recalled all what had happened in the portal. All his friends beside him and Tara had been sleeping. That properly had been Yubel. She had talked to him. She had said she wanted him, but couldn't get him because they were too far apart. Jaden sighed relived. However then he remembered the last part. Jaden sneered and was slamming the wall a million times now. Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why had Yubel done this to him? Okay he had done something bad to her, but why was Tara always the one who got hurt on his behalf. It was the events with Sartorius all over again. Tara taken away from him just so he was forced to join or in situation suffer. It was not fair!

"Sarge! Sarge what are you doing?" yelled Hassleberry behind him. Jaden also noticed Jim by his side now. They both had grabbed him and slowly pulled him away.

"Hey what are you to doing?" yelled Jaden "Let me go! Let me go!".

"Jaden you are totally out of it mate" Jim said "What had that poor wall did to you?".

"It was just in the way" Jaden yelled angry and was trying to get out of their grip "Let me go, I need to get out with some frustrations here". Hassleberry sighed.

"And let you hit that wall all over again. Forget it! The wall can take it, but your poor hands can't take it. Your hands are already red and irritated. Even has blue marks on one of them. Do you want to break your own hands?". Jaden sneered angry.

"I will break all my body parts if I can bring Tara back!" Jaden yelled. Suddenly he felt a big slap on his cheek and he went surprisingly quiet. Alexis had just slammed his cheek with a high five and a red mark was shown on his face.

"Jaden pull yourself together" she yelled "You are not thinking rationally here. Can you help Tara if you have broken arms or legs? No you can't! Can you find Jesse with broken legs? No you can't! Can you stop Yubel like that? No you can't! The only one you are helping is Yubel and do you want that!". Jaden looked shocked at her.

"No I won't!" Jaden replied slowly. He had stopped fighting and Hassleberry and Jim had let go of him. Jaden shook his head a little.

"I am sorry, I just lost it right there" Jaden said and rubbed his cheek "You are right Alexis". She smiled at him and took his hand.

"You are welcome" Alexis said. They could hear coughing behind them and Ember looked at them. Jaden slowly blushed and let go of Alexis hands.

"Well what about finding out where we are and make a plan" Ember said "Then we can decide what to do about Tara and Jesse?". Jaden nodded. The whole group assembled. Jaden told them what had happened in the portal. He was not sure where Tara was at the moment, since he hit the head, before he could see what Yubel did.

"My conclusion is that Yubel must have sended her somewhere different" Bastion said slowly "Remember Eisenstein said there were 12 different dimensions, beside our own and the one we are in now 10 other dimensions remains". Jaden sneered.

"Then we must go out and look for her. Her and Jesse!" Jaden said angry "Yubel could have hurt my sister by now!". Atticus placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I know how you feel Jay, I am a brother myself, but think about it, Yubel said she couldn't touch you, so that means Tara couldn't be as well. When she said she had to do the next best, and that was removing her from you" Atticus concluded "She must have used a lot of power to do that, so she must be resting. Tara is safe from her for now!". Jaden sighed a little relieved. However he was still worried. 

"What about your twin power?" said Axel suddenly "You have shared everything so far. So shouldn't you be able to find her with that!". Jaden sighed.

"I can't just find her like that, it is not a navigations system" Jaden began but then stopped up and his mouth went up in a big grin "Of course! I properly can't find her but I should still be able to feel her! Her emotions, maybe even talk inside her mind. I don't know if I can reach her that far though. Never tried!". Jaden placed himself at the ground and began slowly meditating. He was clearing his mind from all emotions for a bit and was trying to feel Tara's emotions. A strong feeling of confusion hit him. He knew he had found her. Like he found a thread that connected them. However that thread felt like it was far, far away. Jaden began concentrating a lot.

"Tara!" Jaden whispered "Can you hear me? Yubel split us up I..".

"I can hear you!" whispered a voice back. Jaden knew it was Tara. He was not sure if it was the distance or if she was really weak.

"I am sorry we got split up Tara! I broke our promise" Jaden said and felt an intense pain in his skull now. He was sure it was the connection. Maybe talking through the dimensions was not such a good idea. He tried to feel her emotions and it felt less painful. Jaden sighed relieved when he could feel that Tara was relaxed.

"I think we have to do this short" Jaden said "The pain it is strong!".

"Yeah I feel it too. Maybe we shall only use our emotions from now on" Tara said "What are we gonna do now? And you didn't break any promise Jaden!". Jaden let out a little yelp of pain.

"You stay where you are, I mean dimensionally! I will come find you! We are bigger in number! Just tell me where you are! Something noticeable" Jaden said.

"I can see a comet in the sky" Tara said quickly "Jaden before you leave. Don't worry about me. Even if I am alone! I will help finding Jesse. It is easier if more people are looking for him. If I am in trouble, I will just give you a emotion message. This is darn painful. Over and out Jaden!". Then the telepathic message broke. Jaden gasped and taking some deep breaths. The other looked worried at him.

"Water!" Jaden yelled and Syrus tossed his water bottle at him. Jaden slowly could feel half of the headache disappear. He sighed relieved. Then he slowly concentrated again. This time he easily found Tara's thread. He could feel her at least. Jaden got up from the ground and began telling everyone what happened.

Ember's p.o.v.

Ember was listening. She was feeling pretty relieved, when she heard Tara was okay. She was one of her best friends after all. It was weird with how the twin powers worked. She was a little stunned they could talk over such a long distance, although it had it's price. Jaden had eaten and been drinking a lot after that. He also told them he had an annoying headache, but still. Ember was following Jaden with the eyes who was followed by Alexis. She had walked over with him to new stone wall where she had placed Jaden down. He had thanked her and told her he was resting for now. He said he was tired. Alexis had nodded and left back to the group. Ember couldn't stop feeling a little envied here. She had always did that in the past, because she knew she could never get Jesse, and that made her angry. However she was a little surprised that she got envied on Jaden and Alexis relationship. They were not even together and Jaden, no that was not correct, both Alexis and Jaden was her friends, so why was she envied at them? Ember sighed. Maybe she was missing Jesse. She sighed again. The others was talking about what to do next. Ember sighed. This was darn boring. She looked back at Jaden. She had actually decided to walk over to him and give him company, when she noticed that Jaden had gotten up on his feets and was beginning to leave the area, without the others noticing. Ember bid her lip and followed him. She had promised Jesse, and someway herself she would protect Jaden until Jesse returned. She quickly catched up to him. He was tottering a little and seems to be dizzy. Ember was sure he didn't lie about the side effects for talking to Tara. He looked like he was about to pass out. Right now he was leaning towards one of the stone walls. Ember wondered why he was wandering around here all alone.

"Jesse!" Jaden then mumbled and cleared Ember's question "I must find him! He is important to me and Ember! I am the hero, I have to find him". Ember sighed. She had regretted what she had told Jaden. He had taken her words really seriously.

"May I give a hand in finding Jesse?" Ember said and walked over to Jaden and grabbed his arm. He looked really weakly at her, when she placed his arm over her shoulder. She was trying to support him a little.

"Ember? What are you doing here?" Jaden asked and got the rest of his body away from the wall. His hand was the only one leaning on the wall now.

"I could ask you the same Jaden" Ember said and sighed "You are in no condition to be here, but I also know I can talk you out of it. So I am going with you instead.".

"Thank you Ember" Jaden said and was signing a lot "I really don't feel so good".

"You are welcome Jaden. That's what friends are for right. Let's keep going!" she replied. Jaden nodded, but as soon as he did, the wall he was leaning at crumpled and created a big hole. Jaden lost his balance and fell into the hole. Ember couldn't do anything and fell down with him.

The friends p.o.v.

The others were standing in a large group and deciding what to do. Bastion was still on the ground writing in the sand. The ground was made out of stone and a little sand. Therefore he could write. However the others didn't pay some attention to him.

"I think it is time for some recon" Axel said and placed his deck in his duel disk.

"Oh okay" Atticus said and smiled "And I stay behind. You see my boots are not made to travel through dimensions". Syrus nodded in agreement. Alexis sneered.

"Yeah that is totally the reason" Alexis said "It is not like you are scared or anything". They began arguing.

"Um anyone who had seen Jaden" said Syrus suddenly "Oh and Ember are gone as well". The other looked in horror around.

"I know he wants to find Jesse but come on" Atticus stated "Jaden can be okay just now". The others nodded.

"We have to find them" Axel stated and the team split up. At some point Axel found footprints in the sand and followed. He found the whole and decided to walk in there as well, knowing Jaden and Ember would properly be in big trouble by now. At the same time, Bastion had moved down towards the rocks. He had been writing like hell and didn't notice his surroundings. Not before it was too late! He accidently hit a weak spot in the rocks as well and fell down in a hole too.

Ember's p.o.v.

Ember and Jaden had both fallen down in some underground sand cave of some sort. It hadn't hurt as much as Ember had thought it would. Mostly because the sand had taken the worst of the fall. Jaden was a little groggy though, but with Ember's help Jaden was quickly on his feets again. They looked around. They were in some sandy underground, but the fun part was, that there were light in the ceiling. Like someone had electricity down here. Ember was a little confused here, there couldn't be anyone who could live down here right? However they both began walking. Jaden yelled Jesse's name a lot, and then they suddenly found train tracks. Now Ember was sure there were living someone down here, and when cart suddenly was rushing past them. Ember quickly jumped into the shadows, and dragged Jaden with her. In the cart some mysterious winged creatures were driving it. Luckily they didn't see them.

"What in the world was that?" Jaden questioned "I mean what was in that cart".

"I don't know Jaden, but we got to be extra careful" Ember said slowly. Jaden snort.

"But that will not make us find Jesse" Jaden said and got free from Ember's arm "When the next cart comes, we ambushes these guys". Ember sighed deeply. She couldn't talk her out of it. Jaden was readying his duel disk, when a brown hand got placed on Jaden's duel disk. Ember looked surprised when Axel walked out from the shadows signaling them to be silent. Ember sighed relieved. Even though Jaden didn't listen to her, he would listen to Axel. Ember wondered if it was because he was male or just because Alex had great survival skills.

"I wouldn't draw too much attention yet" Axel said "We are here to find Jesse and it would be a lot easier if we could do that without getting detected". Ember nodded in agreement. Jaden sighed in defeat and took away his duel disk. When the cart came back, they hid in the shadows and rushed down the other way down the train tracks.

"We need to get out of this cave" Axel said "We need to get back to our friends".

"But Jesse" Jaden said "I got to make sure he is not down here". Ember sighed.

"You are right" Axel replied "But this is too dangerous on you own got that! We are going back to your friends, then we can figure out what to do okay". Jaden sighed in defeat again and nodded. Ember heard a sound behind her and took out her duel disk.

"Who's there? Show yourself" Ember said coldly and was wondering where all that bravery came from. Out of the shadow a woman appeared. She also had a duel disk ready. Axel made his duel disk ready, when Jaden jumped in between.

"Stop both of you, it is not an enemy" Jaden said and looked at the woman "Tanja is that you?". The woman looked surprised at Jaden.

"Jaden" she said happily and hugged him "It has been a while how are you?".

"You know this person?" Axel questioned. Jaden was gasping after air and nodded.

"Yeah it is Tanja" He said when the woman finally released him.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden felt that he got squeezed to death, when Tanja's big and strong arms gave him a big hug. He had forgotten how strong these amazone womans could be, but he was happy that there at least were some friends in here. Jaden replied Axel's question. Axel and Ember placed away there duel disks and also seconds later saw Basion. Apparently Tanja had found him down here. They began walking away.

"So Tanja your world got swallowed up as well by a portal?" Bastion asked.

"Yeah, and we are not the only once. It had happened for other humans and creatures as well. Or so are the rumors" Tanja replied "This is a dangerous place, so I will take you all 4 with me to our secret camp?". Jaden was a little confused. What was going on here? Tanja sighed deeply.

"I know what you all are thinking. What is going on here and stuff like that?" Tanja said "But this place is not safe for us to talk. I will reply your questions at the camp".

"If you say so Tanja" Jaden said and sighed. He couldn't believe he had met Tanja, one of the old shadow rider back at his first year at the school. Tanja, the girl that had beaten Bastion and made him lovesick, together with beating Tara and turn her into a tiger. Tara said she couldn't quite recall her life as a tiger, but she knew she was never bad treated by Tanja. Jaden had just finished thinking that thought, when Tanja asked:

"Jaden where's your sister actually? I figured you would never be apart. It was that vibe I felt when Tara was a tiger and didn't leave your side". Jaden sighed deeply and began telling Tanja everything that had happened. The armazone sneered.

"So a duel spirit is after you ehh" Tanja said and sighed "Your friend Jesse, I sadly haven't seen him down here, and I am pretty angry that I am not able to see Tara. She was a fine tiger, and would properly be a fine warrior. Don't worry Jaden, Tara can take care of herself".

They arrived at a big camp hidden behind a boulder in the cave. They found out Tanja was the leader of rebellions, who was fighting against some winged beast who had taken over this part of this land. They had just like everyone else appeared within a portal, but instead of working together with all the creatures, these winged beasts tried to claim this land in the name of someone called "the supreme king". They had enslaved smaller duel monsters and Tanja was not sure with what they would do with humans. She had never seen one down here, beside Jaden and his group. They were right now inside Tanja's tent, where she gave them something to eat and drink, while she was telling her story. Jaden gladly took the food and water. He still needed energy. Tanja told them that she and her men was almost ready to attack a place, where the most small innocent spirits was held. Tanja wanted to free as many as possible. You more of them who was freed, the more help they could get against these creatures. Tanja looked at them.

"But to do that we need a little more help" She said and looked at Jaden and the others "Would you like to give us our hand?". Jaden looked at his friends. Axel had told they had to return to their friends first, so he was not sure what to do. Suddenly a bright light appeared and Haya Ember's duel spirit appeared.

"Please my lady and friends, help them" Haya said "These winged creatures are placing me in a bad light. A real warrior shouldn't hurt the weak one. Remember I am a bird as well". Ember nodded. Her and Jaden looked at Axel now.

"Well we can't let such a opportunity go to waste" said Bastion and got a bright smile from Tanja. Jaden noticed that Bastion was a little red on his cheeks now.

"If you give me the recon of the area, I will could help" Axel said and got a big smile from the others around. Tanja nodded and her and Axel began making a plan. At the same time Jaden and Ember had decided to walk around in the camp and was asking around for Jesse, but no one had seen him. When they arrived back to the leader tent Bastion was sitting at the table reading some notes about this dimension. However he was not alone. A amazone woman, Jaden was sure she was called "Amazoness sage" in her duel card. Ember and Jaden stopped up for a minute. They were totally surprised. The girl was flirting with Bastion.

"Ah come on honey, you are a keeper. Don't you want to be on a date with me" the girl asks "And don't hold back I want at least two kids". Jaden saw that Bastion was totally red in the face now. Jaden chuckled. Apparently Bastion had a charm when it came to Amazon womens. Ember just sighed. Jaden figured she was missing Jesse.

"I..I..I don't have time to this.. I love.." began Bastion stuttering. Jaden decided to help his pal out, but someone was quicker.

"Rose you're stupid annoying girl" Tanja said and walked inside the tent "We really don't have the time to flirt around. What are you doing in here?". The girl flew up.

"I am here to report. Our men are in position. We are ready to attack" She said.

"That's good" said a voice behind Tanja and Axel walked in here as well. "Because I got a plan. The only thing we need is a diversion. Jaden and Ember, that is going to be our job". Jaden and Ember looked confused at each other, but a minute later they shrugged. It couldn't be that bad could it.

Ember's p.o.v.

Ember couldn't be more wrong. The plan of Axel's didn't sound to difficult, but it was something entirely different matter, making it out in reality. He had scouted the area pretty fast (they were having camp close by the enemies), and had found a weak spot. These lights in the ceiling was that weak spot. Tanja had told them that the power generator for the lights was hiding in the middle of the city. It had been there even before the winged creature had appeared. The city had been a peaceful one, but were now enslaved, just like these other underground cities. Tanja had told them that after the winged beast had appeared it was nearly impossible to get to the surface without having to fight. Also one of the reasons they were helping Tanja. So the rest of the plan was, the diversion team sneaks in, that's Ember, Jaden, Bastion, Tanja and Axel, and shuts down the generator, who was in a giant tower, and the rest of Tanja's group uses the darkness to strike down the beasts and free the city. That sounded easy enough right. Axel had just forgotten that they should walk on a narrow bridge over to the tower, who was 10 meters above the winged beasts who was keeping the prisoner and forced them to work for them. Even if you survived the fall, you would be captured by the beast and the plan was properly destroyed as well. Ember was walking on that bridge right now. She was beside Axel and Bastion. Jaden was in the front and they were trying to sneak over to the tower. It was actually going pretty well until, a scream filled the air. Ember saw the monster called "Haniwa" or something getting punished down there. It was a weak level 2 spirit, and Ember think he by accident dropped some water on one of the beasts. He was getting scourged down there. He was having a frightened look. Jaden clenched his fists.

"What they are doing down there is totally wrong!" Jaden said angry "I am going down there to stop them". Axel had placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I know how you feel, but if you go now, you will end up just like them Jaden" Axel told him "You end up destroying our plan too. We are saving them in a minute". Jaden sneered. Then suddenly out of the blue a light appeared beside them and Haya was once again out. Ember sighed deeply. It should stop doing that, it made her scared when Haya suddenly popped up. 

"I understand you as well Jaden, but see it like this. We go up, shut the light and then kick some butt" the spirit said and sighed "And when we kick some butt, please my lady let me fight as well". Ember sighed deeply. She could understand him. He was a winged creature as well. He was in a warrior suit and had lost the power to fly, but he was still in his eyes a winged creature. She nodded.

"You can stay out then, but please be silent Haya" She said. The bird bowed.

"Your wish is my command my lady".

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden sneered but nodded. He knew Haya was right. They had to stop these lights and then attack. They had arrived at the tower. The tower was one of these high rock formations. It had two stone platforms attached to it. A platform for guards and watchmen, and a higher up little platform to attached the light. The only way to get up there was by climbing. Luckily they only had one guard up there, and he was not really watching anything. Jaden and co. climbed slowly up to the first platform. Not the most difficult climbing, but Jaden noticed that Ember had a little problems. Haya helped her with it though. They arrived at the platform.

"What now?" Jaden questioned. The others turned to Axel because it was his plan.

"I will keep that guard busy and you attend to the lights" Axel said. Jaden smiled.

"Correction! You will attend to the light and I will keep the guard busy. I have been itching for a duel in a long time" Jaden said and rushed forward towards the guard. It was a bird creature of course and it was called "Sky scout" on a duel monster card. It was a boy with raven colored hair, red wings, dressed in some black clothes and had red long claws at is hands and feets. Jaden was not scared of this monster at all.

"Hey bird brain" Jaden yelled and the scout turned around.

"Ah a human, what is a low pathetic worm like you doing here?" Sky asked.

"I am here to duel you" Jaden said angry "I am talking you down". Sky grinned.

"Down to where? Your human level" He said and smirked "But you do look interesting at least. You are actually not bad looking as for a human of course".

"Um thanks" Jaden said confused and activated his duel disk "But never mind that, what makes you think that you and your feathered friends down there can force everyone". Sky grinned a little evilly.

"You mean pressuring them" He said and grinned "Humans never understand their place in the pecking order. However I will teach you". Jaden sneered,

"Well then teach me" Jaden said coldly. However he was beginning to get a small annoying headache. Sky grinned a little coldly and activated his disk.

"I think I will, when I get you I will teach you manners and who your master is human" Sky said "It would pleasure me a lot". Jaden looked confused at him.

"What do you mean?" He asked. The birds lips widened into a big grin.

"You mean you challenged me without realising the stakes here" Sky said and grinned. He looked at Jaden "I must be lucky. A good looking human dressed in red and are a newbie. You must have arrived from another world human.".

"Wait I am no newbie" Jaden said angry "I am really good at dueling!". Sky grinned.

"It only matters little human" Sky said "of course skills matters, but it is what you win AFTER the duel that really matters. When a duel has begun, when two duel disk's has gotten registered, a duel can't break before it has ended. Secondly the two duelists first have to state a wish, before the duel starts. You can wish for anything! Even your opponent's life, however since you are rather pretty, I wish you become my pet servant, my slave or whatever it is called, for life". A red beam got shut out from the birds duel disk and hit Jaden's chest. He yelled up a little.

"Now when I win, you will belong to me human. You can of course break the wish, but then you will pay with your life in return" Sky said and grinned "Now make a wish so we can get on with this duel". Jaden was confused. He really didn't believe the bird at first at all. He had looked back at his friends to see if this really was true, and Tanja had nodded. Her, Bastion and Ember was cheering him on in the background, giving him good ideas on what his wish could be. Axel was not there, but Jaden knew he was climbing up the rest of the tower to turn of the lights.

"Come on human" Sky said "I don't have all day. Make a wish". Jaden sneered. He really didn't know what to wish for. He couldn't believe he would have such power over another person. It was not something he liked. Jaden yelped in pain when his headache got stronger inside his head. He was getting dizzy.

"I got a wish for you Jaden, just say IT" said a whispering voice inside Jaden's head. He felt really weird and was rubbing his head a little and then..

"I wish you got send to the stars" Jaden got out from his mouth and looked confused at the bird, when a blue string hit the bird's chest. What did I just say? Jaden had no idea what he just said, but slowly some of his headache slowly disappeared.

"Interesting choice" Sky said "But is matters little, because you will lose.". Jaden shook his head.

"But I want another wish" Jaden said and the bird grinned.

"No can't do!" Sky said "The duel has started, now let's begin!". Jaden sighed and the duel began.

Jaden: 4000Lp.

Sky: 4000Lp.

Sky started off. He drew and used the spell "summon storm". By paying 800 life points, he could summon a wind attribute monster, like his "whirlwind prodigy". Then he sacrificed the monster to call out his "Simorgh, bird of divinity" in att mode.

"2700 att points" could Jaden hear Bastion say in the background "Thank goodness he can't attack in that round". Sky apparently heard Bastion and smirked.

"That may be, but I don't need that" He said and placed a facedown and played the spell "level tax". Now both player couldn't summon a level 5 or higher monster, without paying life points equal to that monster's att points.

"And that's not all" Sky said "At my end phase, my birds special eff activates. Doing each end phase, we will both take a 1000 points of damage". Jaden looked in horror when the giant bird on Sky's field let out a scream and a giant wind got blasted towards him. Jaden let out a scream when he lost 1000 life points.

"Did I forget to mention, in this duel damage is real" said Sky and grinned. Jaden looked really angry at him and noticed that Sky didn't lose any life points at all.

"Hey what gives, you said we both take damage" Jaden said angry. Sky grinned.

"Yeah unless you have two cards in your s/t card zone" He told him. Jaden sneered. He drew and was staring into his hand. He could fusion summon mudballman, but with that spell of his, and his birds eff, Jaden needed all the life points, he could get. He summoned "Bubbleman" in def mode, and could now draw 2 more cards. Then he placed two cards face down. At least he was protected by the birds eff now. He ended his turn. The eff activated, but Jaden was unharmed. Sky grinned. He drew and summoned "Tornado bird" to the field. He activated it's eff. By paying 600 life points, he can draw one card for every wind creature on the field. So he draws 2, but he can't use them before next turn though. However he can still attack. He made Simorgh destroy Jaden's monster and his other bird, dealing Jaden some damage. Then he placed two cards facedown and ended his turn. The birds eff activated, but they are both protected this round. Jaden sighed relived. Sky grinned evilly.

"Simply pathetic! Your offence is weak and your defense will not protect you from me forever boy. I am undefeatable!" He said and smirked "It is the oldest law of nature. Only the strong survive and the weak ones serves the strong ones. Like you will be doing soon boy, as my eternal servant". Jaden sneered. Like he wants to be some birds servant for the rest of his life. He was gonna win this! He drew and played "Graceful charity", drew three card and discarded two. Then he summoned "Grand mole" to the field. He had intended to use his monster's eff, but Sky had different plans. He activated the trap "Glory level talisman" and equipped it to his Simorgh. Now all monsters whose level is under lv 5 and attacks are instantly destroyed. Jaden could kiss goodbye to his monster. However Sky was not finished yet. He played the trap "Icarus attack". By tributing his tornado bird, the two cards Jaden had on the field got destroyed. Secondly he also activated the trap "Explosion wing". Jaden now would take 500 points of damage for every card destroyed this turn. Jaden lost 3 cards, so he takes 1500 points of damage, leaving him with 400 life points. Jaden let out a scream, when three blasts hit and he fell to the ground.

"And now Simorgh reduces rest of your life points" Sky said and grinned.

"Hold on" Jaden said weakly "I am not finished yet". He placed two cards facedown.

"Looks like someone survived this round boy" Sky said and drew "But why fight, you are only delaying your fate. Don't worry I will treat your nicely once I have you". Jaden sneered. He was not gonna end up as this birds slave! No, never! How in the world could he else find Jesse! There must be something that could clip this birds wings. He looked at his hand, and hoped this would worked. Sky attacked Jaden directly, but he counted with the trap "a hero emerges". Now Sky had to pick a monster from one of Jaden's three cards in his hands.

"Oh please" said Sky "Whatever hero you ditched out with, my level tax is still in play. A level 5 or higher, would instantly destroy your remaining life points".

"We see about that!" Jaden said "Now come on pick one". The bird looked at the three card and picked the middle one. Jaden sighed relived. He had picked "winged Kuriboh", and it got summoned to the field in att mode. Sky looked at it and grinned.

"That little furball. Your deck must be weaker than I thought" He said and smirked.

"Hey no one gets away by insulting my friends" Jaden yelled "And you are about to see why!". He activated his last facedown. The quick spell "Transcendent wings". By sending two cards from his hand to the grave, he can evolve kuriboh into "Winged kuriboh lv10", and even with level tax in play, Jaden only has to pay 300 life points. He activated his new kuriboh's eff. By sacrificing itself, it could destroy all monster on the field and the owner takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's att points. Sky lost all his life points and Jaden won the duel. Both duelists fell down on their knees. Jaden saw the red thread from Sky's duel disk got broken. However his disk was still glowing blue. Then in that moment, Axel destroyed something up in the tower who caused a blackout. Jaden could hear screams around in the dark now knowing the winged monster got attacked down there. He had noticed that Ember and Haya had left as well. He concluded that they have joined the fight.

"Jaden are you okay?" asked Tanja worried "These duels takes a lot out of you after all". Jaden nodded weakly. Bastion looked around. (it was not as dark as they couldn't see each other), and nodded impressed. Axel's plan had worked.

"Human" said a voice weakly "No they called you Jaden right". Jaden looked around and saw Sky lie on the ground. He could easily find him, because his blue thread was lit up, all the way to Sky. He could see the bird wave him over. Jaden shrugged. If Sky was as half as tired as he was, then there wouldn't be dangerous to go over there.

"What is it?" Jaden asked "What is happening to you?". The bird grinned.

"Your wish Jaden, it is going to be activated any minute now" the bird said "But before it do, I need to tell you something". Jaden looked confused at him.

"What is it?" Jaden asked. The bird grinned.

"You are a strong duelist Jaden and I beg of you, you must defeat him. All this is his doing! He must be stopped. We all only did this because the Kings men destroyed our home and sended us here. I know our actions was wrong! We attacked and hurt the weak one, just like we were attacked and I am sorry" Sky said "But he must be stopped. The supreme king, before he does anymore harm. Promise me you will defeat the supreme king, because it is you who shall rule this world. You must become king Jaden!". Jaden looked confused at him. King? I should become king? Suddenly the bird began to glow. He had taken Jaden's hand and was smiling at him.

"Wha.. what is happening to you?" Jaden asked "Is this my wish? But I don't want this?!". The bird smiled.

"Yes! You wished me up to the stars. When people in these duels wishes us up to the stars or us dead, or if we die by normal causes, our duel energy will glow and be sended up to the stars. Don't worry I forgive you" Sky said and then he turned into glowing dust and disappeared in the wind. Jaden looked in horror. His heart was beating pretty fast and he couldn't believe what just happened. Had he just killed someone? He grabbed his head a little. What happened? He would never wish something like this. Then he shook his head. He still needed to find Tara and Jesse. He hadn't the time to feel sorry for himself. It was an accident. The bird had forgiven him. He said it himself. Then why did Jaden feel so guilty all of the sudden?

"Jaden" said Tanja suddenly "We have found a way back to your friends. Let me help you back to them. Jaden nodded and they left.

Time skip.

Jaden and all his friend were happily reunited. They were all now standing in front of a giant door. Tanja had told them, that it was said that this door lead to another realm, however she couldn't go with them since she had to stay and help restore order in this realm. Jaden and the others nodded. Jaden looked at Ember, Bastion and Axel. They didn't say anything, but just nodded. Before they meet up with Syrus and the others, they had sworn not to tell the others what happened in that duel with the sky scout. It would make them worry to much, and Jaden was not really fond of talking about it. He had after all indirectly killed someone. They were about to open the door, when Bastion began coughing. They all looked at him.

"Well I will stay behind as well" He said slowly. The others looked surprised.

"Don't tell me, she had put another love spell on you Bastion" began Syrus, which made Bastion totally red in his face.

"Well of course not" He said in a angry tone "They might have vital information down here. Like how we can come home from here and what's going on. As soon as I have figured things out, I will go find you ok?". The others nodded. Jaden looked at the door and sighed deeply. Just you wait Jesse and Tara! I will come find you both and bring you home. You can count on it!
