Ember's p.o.v.

Inside that dark abyss filled with crystals, who really was inside the rainbow dark dragon, you could find Ember and Jesse locked inside that giant crystal. They were both surprisingly awake, but only barely. Because of lack of space, Ember was hugging a weakly and tired Jesse, but she knew Jesse didn't mind it at all. He also had placed weak arms around her. Ember was not sure if it was for comfort or because he needed her support, but she was glad he did regardlessly. Yubel had drained a lot of energy from him. Jesse's inner willpower was dropping repeatedly, as Yubel drew on energy, to control the crystal beast. Mostly the rainbow dragon, since the crystal beasts were more infected by Yubel's darkness and obeyed her without questions.

"Ember I am terrible sorry" she then could suddenly hear Jesse said in rasping voice "I should never have mixed you into all this. I am sorry, I gave in. She have my body, my soul, my crystal beasts and my dragon now. She even moved my spirit inside the dragon. I didn't believe that Yubel could take more from me, until you arrived. Don't give me wrong, I am glad to be with you, but not under these circumstances". Jesse let out a little whimper and let his tired head lean on her shoulder. Ember knew he was feeling great pain right now. She hugged him a little tighter.

"Shh, don't say that. Don't be sorry. You gave in because of me, and I am grateful to you. I am not even angry" she then said and smiled at him. "If only I were stronger though. If only I were more brave and..".

"No!" Jesse actually managed to shout and took her hand "Don't! Ember don't wish that. Don't change! Even when you are shy sometimes. You don't need to be more brave than you already are. Ember I love you the way you are". Ember looked a little stunned at him. She wasn't sure if it was because he was in so emotionally pain or because he really meant it, but she appreciated it the words anyway. They both went silent. The only thing Ember could hear was Jesse's weak gasping breath.

"Do you hate me?" Jesse then suddenly asked "Adrian. I killed your fiancé. I have been just as much jealous as he has been. I was watching the battle Him with Yubel. I was there in the dragon. I must admit I wished for him to die there, before he let out his speech about his true intentions. He wanted us to be happy deep down". Ember looked surprised at him, but then shook her head. She could never hate Jesse regardless what he had done. Jesse looked relieved at her.

"I just don't understand Jesse, if Adrian were deep down okay with us being together, why where he then such an idiot?" Ember then questioned "He could just have told me his plans from the get go. The marriage, and well everything. Instead he ended up joining Yubel and killed off Aster". Jesse actually smiled at that.

"I do understand him" he then said slowly "Jealousy can make a man blind. Secondly I think he never told you, because he wouldn't get your hope up if it never happened later on in the future. And you know Yubel can tempt people. He would get the power to get that peaceful world, where he would break down the society and be with the one he truly wanted. I must admit that offer tempt me as well. However the only thing I want right now, is us being together in the real world. Not trapped in here". Ember nodded slowly. She wished that too. Jesse hissed a little in pain again. Ember knew Yubel was draining another portion of his energy. Ember squeezed his hand a little and smiled a warm smile at him.

"Don't worry Haya have been sending our help signal to Tara and Jaden" she then replied encouraging "He may not be fully up to date, but I am sure Haya can tell them where we are without Yubel knowing. The twins power of spirits are surely stronger than Yubel's power. You see we will soon be rescued". Jesse smiled a tiny smile.

"You have so much faith Ember. One of the many reasons I love you" he then whispered and placed a tiny kiss on her lips "But I believe it is time for me to go to sleep now. I feel so tired". Ember looked in horror when Jesse slowly closed his eyes and leaned more in towards her.

"No Jesse, stay awake! You have to say awake! You have to fight her. You have to claim your body again, Jesse!" she yelled and shook him like hell, but whatever she did nothing helped. He was soundly asleep in her arms now. Ember let out a cry.

"Jaden, Tara, please hurry and save us. I don't want to be with Jesse like this" she then yelled out "I want the healthy Jesse back again. Please hurry". Then she began crying.

Tara's p.o.v.

The twins: 300 Lp.

Yubel/Jesse: 1500 Lp.

Tara looked weakly up at the dragon in front of them. She knew Jesse and Ember was somewhere inside that thing. Now they just needed a plan to free them. Tara looked over at her brother. He looked as weak and tired as she felt like, and she knew he was just as beat up as she was. Jaden looked over at her with a worried expression. He was maybe a little worried that the dragons attack had hurt me to badly. Tara smiled. She was worried about Jaden for the same reasons. They had no monsters on the field, while Yubel had Topaz tiger, sapphire pegasus and rainbow dark dragon on the field. The dragon had already attacked, so that only leaved attacks from the two crystal beasts. They could hear Yubel chuckle now.

"You can try all you want to, but Jesse and Ember aren't going anywhere, unless I say so" Jesse then said "They are mine. I locked them away like you two did to me. I guess this is true what they say, that what goes around, eventually Does come around". The twins looked at each other with horrified expressions.

"You have to stop all this right now" Jaden pledged "Please Yubel, just listen, this is between You, me and my sister". Jesse smirked evilly.

"And Jesse and Ember" she then replied coldly "See you two hurt because they are hurt and that makes me feel better. Now then, where did we leave off. Oh yes how silly of me to forget. One more attack and my beasts will defeat you. It really is quite the shame you two. Having traveled all this distance only to fail now". Jaden and Tara both glared angry at Yubel. They knew she was right, but that didn't make it better at all. In the background they could hear Syrus and Crowler comment on that.

"Yubel is right" Crowler said "If poor Jaden is attacked then his life points are history". Yellow looked in horror at them for a minute.

"Oh Syrus I can't bare to watch" he then said and covered his eyes.

"We have to believe" Syrus replied determined. He looked at the duel.

"Any last words Tara, Jaden?" Jesse questioned and smirked. The twins didn't reply her. "No eh? I must say I am not all that surprised, cause there is nothing left to say. We can talk all we want after I defeat you". Jesse made his tiger and pegasus attack them, but luckily Jaden had a trap ready called "Neospace road". Since Jesse had destroyed Neos this round, this trap cancelled the restly battle phase for this turn.

"Thanks for your help neos" Jaden then said when a shield looking like E.H. Neos prevented the two attacks from Pegasus and Topaz tiger. "My trap also allows me to draw one more card". Jaden looked over at Tara and she could feel his eyes gaze at her. He also smiled at her and waited for Tara to draw the card for him. Tara bit his lip, but did as he asked. It was getting easier for her to draw now too. She knew her brother was only trying to help her get over her fear, the same way she was helping him getting over his. She quickly gave Jaden the card. Yubel chuckled.

"You just don't give up Jaden. I wish you two had been more like this with me, but no, instead you turned your back to me and sent me far away, but not far enough" Jesse replied and smirked evilly. He placed a facedown and ended his turn. Tara sighed deeply inside. She could feel the anger coming from Yubel, but what could she do? Like Jaden she wished she had done things differently. Maybe even tried giving Yubel a second chance. But at that time, they both had been so afraid. Finding out Yubel was the reason they were called the cursed kids. The reason Tara always ended up in trouble and lastly, the death of her spirit cyber tech alligator. Should she really have been given a second chance? Maybe they shouldn't have sent her into space, but what could they have done. They had both hoped that the cosmic waves fixed her so they still could be friends. Tara knew how painful it had been for Jaden to sent her up there in the first place, but he didn't refuge to do it, when Tara asked. Jaden had said that she was too dangerous to have around, and that she needed to learn her lesson. Yubel had been right about Jaden choosing between them. In the end he had sided with her. He had sended Yubel up into space, because she asked him too. Tara wondered if they should just have locked her into a box or something, but she was not sure that had been a solution in the end. Now they were face to face with an even more insane and angry Yubel than before. Tara didn't remember she had been like that from the get go. She wondered what had happened to her in space. Something must have happened right? Jaden pointed at her shoulder a little.

"Tara, it is our turn. You need to draw a card" he encouraged.

"Oh yeah, sorry I spaced out" she then said in a low voice. She drew and noticed she had drawn a spell she quickly gave her brother. Jaden looked a little questionable at her, but he didn't say anything. He was looking at his cards and was trying to figure out a move with them. Tara could see two solutions with them. 1. he could summon grand mole again, and then send rainbow dark dragon back to Yubel's hand. Tara was however not found of it. Jaden would let himself wide open. The second solution was more dangerous however, since they had to face the dark dragon face on. Tara looked up at the dragon. She knew Jesse and Ember was in there. She could feel it. She looked slowly over at Jesse, where she knew Yubel had possessed his body. Tara was still a little scared. She would lie if she said she wasn't, but through the duel she had gotten more courage. She still remembered some of Zane's words. Be happy, don't cry and your smile is much better. Also the words 'The most bravest man, is not the one who isn't scared, but the one who faces his fears head on'. She sniffed a little.

"Jaden we have to face that dragon head on" she then replied and felt more brave that usual. Zane I will face my fear head on and duel together with my brother. I want to protect him. Jaden looked at her and smiled a big smile. Then he hugged her.

"Tara you are back" he said happily "Or more or less back. I am so happy".

"Well I can't say I am not scared" she then said. "But I have decided to stop being scared now. I want to duel with you from now on Jaden. With my own cards".

"Well I am scared as well" Jaden replied with a big smile "But with you I always feel a lot braver. Now let's save our friends". Tara nodded quickly.

The duel continued. Jaden looked at his hand and activated the spell card "Convert contact". By sending Grand mole from his hand and another neo spacian like Flare scarab alias flip from his deck to the grave he could now draw two more cards. Tara quickly gave him them. One of them was bubbleman which Jaden played right away. Because of it's eff, Tara could draw two more cards. It was two spell cards. Jaden ended his turn by placing a facedown. They could both hear Yubel grin now.

"Jaden, Tara, You are actually calling that a turn?" Jesse then questioned and grinned "Cause that move looked more like a waste of time, but I am not disappointed. Because that's what I come to expect from you". Jaden and Tara once again didn't reply him. Jesse shrugged and made pegasus attack and destroy bubbleman. Then he attacked with Rainbow dark dragon. The twins would have been finished if it wasn't for Jaden's face down card. The spell "The flute of summoning kuriboh". Winged kuriboh of course appeared on the field in defense mode. The dark dragon attacked him, but because of it's eff Jaden now didn't take any damage in battle until next turn. A lot of dust got created though and the twins had to shield their eyes. A strange light appeared around them.

When they opened their eyes again, Tara and Jaden found themselves inside a strange place. It was filled with clouds and blue sky and Tara actually wondered if they had been sent to heaven. They looked around.

"What's this?" Jaden questioned puzzled. Tara shrugged. She had no idea either.

"Jaden, Tara" said a voice suddenly. The twins looked around again and was trying to find the source of it. Out of the blue a lot of monsters appeared. Tara quickly recognized them as the crystal beast monsters in Jesse's deck. However they looked differently. They looked like they used to be, before they were corrupted by Yubel's darkness. Beside Mammoth and Emerald turtle was a weak bird spirit, only dressed in half of it's armor and was having few injuries, standing. Tara recognized it as well. It was Ember's spirit Hayabusa knight. They all looked at the twins.

"You are Jesse's crystal beasts" began Jaden.

"And Ember's bird spirit" Tara continued "What's up you guys?". Ruby appeared on Jaden's shoulder as well and nuzzled his cheek a little bit.

"Are we dreaming?" the twins questioned confused. The beasts shook their heads.

"Unfortunately not Jaden" Pegasus then said "It is more like an unofficial time out".

"Where are we?" Tara then questioned "Can you tell us?".

"We are within Kuriboh's light" Pegasus then replied "In here our true forms can be revealed to you". Amethyst cat nodded in agreement.

"And we are save from that Yubel" she then added. Tara looked at Jaden. He didn't like to remember what Yubel had done. Tara had a feeling Jaden still treasured as one of his friends regardless what she had done. He knew he had to do something about her for all she had done, but it didn't change the fact that he still saw her as his friend.

"Listen carefully" Amethyst cat then said "Our dear friends Jesse and Ember has been trapped within the rainbow dragon card".

"Yes and we can't save them" Pegasus added "Yubel's darkness affects us, and Haya is to weak to do anything in his current state. However Yubel's field spell is the one affecting us. It forces us to do her bidding". Jaden and Tara looked at each other.

"Her field spell?" Jaden then questioned and frowned. Pegasus nodded.

"That's right, and in order to free us, you must first destroy that field spell" he then said "Once that darkness is destroyed, you must figure out a way to defeat the dark dragon. Do you two understand what you must do?".

"First Jaden takes out the field spell, then we defeat the dragon" Tara repeated and actually smiled "Don't worry, I will remember". The beast nodded.

"Good luck" Amethyst cat then said and they all slowly began disappearing.

"We are all counting on you" Pegasus then said and disappeared as well.

Soon after Tara and Jaden woke up in some way from their day dream. Light was all around them, because of Kuriboh's eff. Kuriboh smiled at both of them, before Jaden sended it's card to the graveyard.

"Thanks for all your help old pal" Jaden said and thanked the little spirit. Tara also smiled. The little spirit had helped them figuring out what to do next. They both turned towards Yubel again. Jesse didn't look very happy.

"So, my powers revealed that you two met my beasts. Now then, tell me what did you talk about with them? What are you two planning on doing?" Jesse then sneered "Well whatever it is, I am not letting it happen". Tara sneered inside. She had a feeling he would say that.

Yubel's p.o.v.

Yubel sneered angry, while staring at the crystal beasts in front of her. She couldn't believe that they had gone behind her back and talked to the twins without her approval. She knew they had given them some advice on how to beat her, she just didn't know what. However whatever it was, she was not gonna let it happen. They were not gonna ruin her plans when she was so close at the goal. She could almost taste the victory on her tongue and some disobeying beasts were not gonna ruin it for her. Jesse looked over at Jaden and Tara. They both looked more confident. Tara was not looking so frightening anymore and Jaden had gotten over her fear of using polymerization. Or almost. Yubel knew there were one certain card he surely couldn't play yet. The card she was waiting for in some way. However first there were something she had to do.

"Times up, hehe" Jesse then said and looked at Topaz tiger "Topaz attack!".

"Attack?!" Jaden yelled surprised up "But that is senseless. Kuriboh's effect protects me". Jesse smirked evilly.

"Oh I know" he then replied "You see, You are not the one I want to teach a lesson to. It is them. Topaz tiger attack!". Because of her orders Topaz attacked the twins but because of winged kuriboh's effect, Topaz could even hit them. Instead one of his paws got hurt. The tiger growled in pain when it returned to Jesse's field. Yubel smirked evilly. Now they could learn not to disobey her orders. Jesse turned his gaze back to the twins. They looked rather surprised. They were having this worried look at Topaz. Yubel figured they wanted to treat his wounds or something. Yubel sneered inside. They were never so carrying with me. Hmf. Then she smirked.

"Next time you might think twice before you go behind my back with my beasts" Jesse then told the twins "You got that. These are my monsters, so don't go messing with them or they pay. It is your move". Jaden sneered angry, but nodded. Tara drew a card and they were both looking thoughtful at the cards for a minute. Then Jaden played the spell "Cocoon party". For every neo spacian in his grave, Jaden could now summon chrysalis monsters from his deck. He summoned "chrysalis dolphin" and "chrysalis chicky" from his deck to the field. Then he used the spell "Contact" which enabled him to sacrifice the chrysalis to bring out "Air hummingbird" and "Aqua dolphin". With Air's eff Jaden got 500 extra life points for every card in Jesse's hand. He had two, so Jaden gained 1000 life points. Then Jaden played the spell "O-oversoul" and got Neos back from the grave. Jesse was not impressed. Jaden looked at his sister and smiled. She smiled back at him.

"Tara would you leant me you strength in battle?" Jaden then questioned.

"I thought you never ask" Tara said and grinned. They looked at the neo spacians.

"Now we will fuse Neos with our neo spacians to form the ultimate elemental hero" the twins said in unison "Now Neos, Air and Aquas, it is time to fuse together. From the deeps of space, I call upon the most powerful hero..". The three monsters jumped into the air and merged together. Neos was now a blue creature with big wings.

"Meet elemental hero storm Neos" The twins then said in unison. Wind was blowing around them now. Yubel wouldn't admit it, but this monster looked rather cool and strong. However it was of course not stronger than her dragon of course.

"Fine" Jesse then yelled "Bring it on!".

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara looked surprised at the big blue winged hero who was in front of them now. It looked rather cool. She knew Jaden was feeling the same thing. Wind was blowing around them now on the field, because of Storm neos's power, but Tara was not worried on bit. She knew Neos would never harm them.

"So that is your new elemental hero. Not bad" they could hear Jesse say.

"Check it" Syrus said in the background and smiled "He has 3000 att points, wow".

"And that is nothing compared to his special eff Sy" Jaden replied and grinned. He looked at Tara and let go of her hand now. Tara smiled back.

"Yeah, because once a turn he powers up and then can destroy all spells and traps on the field" Tara continued explaining. Jesse looked rather shocked.

"But then.." he began but Jaden countered.

"Your advanced dark field spell is down and out" he said and Tara continued "And now it is time to see the light". Storm neos let out a roar and a giant breeze of wind was hitting the field. Tara could see Jesse had to shield himself from the immense power. The same Crowler and Syrus had to do. The twins however was not affected in any way. Soon Jesse's facedown card and field spell got both destroyed.

"Grr, my field spell is gone" Jesse sneered. Jaden and Tara nodded.

"You got that right" Jaden replied coldly "And you know what happens next don't you? Without that field spell in play your beasts are all eliminated from the game..".

".. And so is the darkness who controls them" Tara added. Topaz tiger and sapphire pegasus began disappearing. So did mammoth's crystal in the S/T card zone. The only monster Jesse had on his field now, was that rainbow dark dragon. Tara smiled happily and hugged her brother out of happiness. Jaden looked puzzled at her.

"You did it Jaden" Tara then said "We both did. We got passed our fear and you summoned Storm neos". Jaden grinned a little and hugged her back.

"No Tara, we summoned him. I couldn't do this without you" he replied with a smile. Without warning Jaden and Tara was suddenly summoned to that cloudy place where they meet the crystal beasts the first time. The twins let go of each other and saw the crystal beasts and Haya surrounding them once again.

"You are all okay" said Tara happily. Pegasus and the others smiled.

"Thanks to you two" he replied "The darkness has been lifted. Perhaps now Jesse and Ember might could hear us. Let's give it a try".

"Jesse, listen to us. We are here for you Jesse" Amethyst cat then said.

"Ember, try waking him up" squeaked Haya as well. Tara joined in on that.

"Jesse, Lady Ember, you are not alone, we are here for you" Pegasus then added. Jaden also began shouting. Tara just hoped their friends could hear them.

Ember's p.o.v.

Ember, who was still stuck in the crystal of course, leaned into Jesse's warm embrace. He might be sleeping right now, but it didn't make him stop hugging her. Ember had a feeling he was actually using her as a pillow right now. Arms softly around her back and his head lying on her shoulder. Small sounds could be heard from him when he was breathing. Ember smiled a little. She didn't actually mind. She squeezed herself a little together so she could lie at his chest. In some way using him as her own pillow. Ember must admit that she had been sleeping just a little. There were not much to do here and Jesse was asleep. She wondered if he ever would wake up again. She was actually terrified that he wouldn't. However then she heard these voices.

"Jesse, listen to us. We are here for you Jesse".

"Ember, try waking him up". That voice Ember knew. That was Haya.

"Jesse, Lady Ember, you are not alone, we are here for you". Ember blinked a little and looked around to find out where the voices was coming from. Then at her left side a picture was shown in a crystal. She could see Jaden, Tara, the crystal beasts and Haya look at her and was apparently trying to contact them. Then Ember remembered Haya's message. She looked at Jesse. She had to wake him up.

"Jesse! Jesse wake up! They are calling us. You got to wake up!" she yelled. Jesse groaned a little, but nothing else happened. Ember bit her lip. He had to wake up.

"Jesse, come on, you are stronger than her" she then said and shook him "You got to wake up. Do it for me, please". Jesse groaned a tiny bit more, but nothing else happened. Ember sighed. Then she remembered on of the fairy tales with a prince and a princess. She lifted her head a little and kissed Jesse on the lips. Jesse pleased wake up! She could hear Jesse groan again Ember noticed emerald eyes were looking at her. Ember quickly pulled back. She was having red cheeks now.

"Ember what.. were you kissing me just now?" Jesse said in a sleeping voice. Ember turned even more red and nodded slowly.

"You weren't waking up and.." Ember said slowly and pointed at the mirror "They are calling us Jesse. We have to answer them". She could see that Jesse looked at the picture and his eyes widened in surprise.

"My crystal beasts and Tara and Jaden" he then said and added "And your Haya. They are all trying to rescue us". Ember nodded and looked at Jesse. She had no idea on how to respond to them. Then surprisingly Jesse began slamming at the crystals wall, while yelling their friends name. Ember looked at him and then did the same thing. She just hoped the twins catched the message.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara, Jaden and every other spirit was shouting loudly in hope that Jesse and Ember heard them. At some point Tara was actually not sure it was working, but they needed to connect to Jesse's spirit if he ever was going to get his body back from Yubel. Suddenly Jaden pointed at her arm lightly. Tara turned towards her brother.

"Can you see that?" He questioned and pointed at the dragon. Tara eyes narrowed and looked at the spot Jaden was pointing at. At first Tara couldn't see anything. She could only see the crystals inside that weird place Yubel was keeping her friends. However after staring at it for a long time, she was sure she saw something moving. Tara blinked a little and looked again. Yes there were differently something moving there. Jaden smiled a little.

"Jesse and Ember. They are awake" He then said and shouted out loud "Just wait a bit Jesse, Ember. We will save you". Tara then nodded too and hoped Jesse and Ember saw them. The crystal beasts and Haya looked at them.

"Good luck" they then said and disappeared around them. Soon after the twins were back at the duel with Yubel, alias Jesse. He was staring coldly at them. Jaden quickly played the spell card "Instant space" and equipped it to storm Neos. Normally he would have to return to Jaden's extra deck after a battle, but with this spell, he could stick around. Then he ended his turn. It was Yubel's turn. Jesse smirked evilly.

"Jaden, Tara, now please tell me, you don't think you rescue your friends do you?" He then questioned. Jaden and Tara didn't reply on that either. They were not gonna listen to Yubel's mind games any longer. However they were still glaring at her. Tara snort inside. Just keep talking Yubel. As soon as Jaden and I get rid of that Rainbow dark dragon, Jesse and Ember will be free. Jaden and storm Neos already got rid of the darkness who was on the field. Now we just need to remove it from that dragon card. If not then we are all done for. Jesse smirked evilly.

"Now Jaden is it time to say goodbye" he said and drew "Goodbye to your neos that is. Rainbow dark dragon attack!". The dragon fired another rainbow beam and destroyed Neos. Just like that. Tara was happy Air hummingbird had restored their life points or they had been done for. The impact however was so powerful when it hit Neos that Tara fell some step backwards. She hit the ground pretty hard.

"Oh yeah, but now I use instant neospace's eff. Since you destroyed storm Neos, I can bring back Neos" Jaden countered. Tara could see his knees was wobbly. She was amazed that he even could stand. She could hear Yubel grin a little.

"Him again? You must be tired Jaden, or desperate" Jesse then said. He ended his turn with two facedowns. Tara was not liking this at all. Yubel had an annoying evil grin plastered to her face. This could not be a good sign.

"Tara are you okay?" she could then hear Jaden say. She could see he looked worried at her. Tara got slowly up. Her legs was tottering as much as Jaden's and her eye sight was a little blurry. However she still nodded determined. Like an annoying spirit or a dragon could keep her down. She walked slowly over to Jaden. She could hear him gasp a little for air and knew he must have it as terrible as she had. Tara took his hand and made Jaden look at her. A little sweat was dripping down his face.

"Oh I am glad you are okay" Jaden then whispered and squeezed her hand "I know we can save Jesse and Ember from that dragon. I am just worried that we can last long enough to do it". Tara nodded. She knew that to beat that dragon they had to go all out and work together. If Jaden needed her strength to win, she would give it without any hesitation. He could count on that.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden gasped for air a little. His sight was getting blurry. He was even amazed that he could stand on his leg after the dragon had attacked. Jaden figured it was his determination to save his friends that had enabled him to stay on his feets even after the attack. However his sister were not so lucky. Jaden was worried Tara had been hurt pretty badly when she had been pushed backwards and hit the ground. However she was quickly on her feets again. Jaden smiled a little. Tara was as stubborn as he was. Right now she was standing beside him, holding his hand, and like always he got a certain extra boost of power every time they did that. He knew and hoped it was the same case with his sister. Tara looked at him now. Her eyes was filled with determination, just like his. She was gonna do everything she could to save Jesse and Ember. Jaden smiled inside. Ember had been a good friend for Tara to hang out with and after they had talked, they had been really good friends. Jaden could still remember his first meeting with Jesse at the school roof. They were so alike at some points and at some points not. They both loved the game duel monster. They both could see spirits and were both brave characters, although Jesse might be a bit more shy and smarter than Jaden himself. He was more forward. Or had been. After the events with the king it felt like he was standing still and now slowly, really slowly begin to fight again. However in this battle Jaden had to keep on fighting. He couldn't stand still. He had to free Jesse and Ember from Yubel. When he had done that, if they ever did, which they would, he was not fully sure what to do then, but first thing first. He had to save his friends. He looked at Tara once again.

"Tara I need you. We have to do this together. If that is not enough..".

"..Then we lose and Yubel gets us" she replied and nodded to herself. Then she smiled "But I am not scared. If that really happens then we at least together".

"You read my mind" Jaden replied. He grinned and let go of her hand "Now let's do this". They both drew and like always when they combined their powers the forceful wind blew around them. Jesse however didn't get blown away like their former opponents had been. He did shield himself a little, but that was about it. However the twins didn't think about that for now. They both only was thinking about saving Ember, Jesse and the crystal beast spirits.

"We activate "Fifth hope" they both said in unison. With this card they could take 5 elemental hero cards from the grave and add them to the deck, then shuffle. Then they could draw two new cards. Jaden placed his hand at the deck. Tara quickly followed. However for some reason Jaden felt rather weird when he touched the cards. He looked puzzled at his sister. She looked just as confused. Jaden looked at the deck. It felt like a heartbeat in some way. He wondered what caused this. However they both really didn't have the time to think about that either. They were both a little tired. In the end they both just drew and hoped they got two good cards.

To say that they got two good cards was an understatement. They got cards that could turn this around, but the question was if Jaden could use them. He was staring at the two cards like they were cursed or something. Now he didn't wonder why he had felt that heartbeat when he drew the cards with Tara. They had drawn "Super polymerization", the card who Haou had used in so many duels and also the card that had absorbed all the duel energy from mostly all his victims. Tara didn't look happy either. Jaden knew she had seen the card in action unlike him who only had seen how it got created. At that place where Brron had sacrificed his four friends. Oh no not super polymerization. I am not sure I am ready for that card yet. It's power hurt so many of my friends. Chazz, Hassleberry, Atticus, and poor sweet Alexis. Jim also gave his all, and Axel risked everything to save me from the king. Sir freed, he put his own wellbeing ahead to help me win the duel. I owe it to everyone I hurt with this card. To their memories. I should try to overcome my fear and use it for good. I know the last time it got played was by Haou, and it was my own hands that was holding the card and played it. We were the ones doing the deed. That is a nightmare I never want to relive again. Being his puppet again.. No. I can't think about that now. However despite all that happened, Tara and my friends stayed by my side, and tried all they could to help me fix all the wrongs I caused. They all helped me and Tara to find our way again. Would everything happen again if I used this card? Jaden gulped a little inside. Then he looked over and Crowler, Yellow and Syrus. He remembered Syrus and Ojama that had followed him when he was wandering alone trying to conquer his past. He knew his friends would stick by his side no matter what. No, you have to be brave Jaden. Tara faced her fear of dueling, so you should conquer yours. Don't be afraid. I have to conquer this fear if I ever want to move forward again. The supreme king won't take over again. Tara promised me that would never happen, and I know she will try keeping her promise no matter what. I have to use the card to free Jesse, no matter the risk, because I got friends to save. Jaden was looking at the card now and was slowly touched it with his fingertips. His hand was shaking. He tried grabbing the card. He wanted to play it, but for some reason he couldn't. He couldn't get himself to use it. I.. I can't play it, why? We need to use it so why..I. Suddenly a hand touched his. A warm hand. Jaden looked surprised at Tara who was holding the hand over his while letting the fingertips touching the card. Tara smiled a little.

"If you can't play it by yourself, then lets do it together" He could hear Tara say inside his mind "Don't be afraid. We can conquer this together". Jaden eyes widened a little, but then he nodded. They had to use this card to save their friends.

"We activate super polymerization" the twins then yelled in unison and was holding up the card "By sending one card to the grave, we can now combine Neos with your rainbow dark dragon, and together they will create a creature that with purge the remaining darkness from the field and free our friends". Light appeared around the two monsters now and Rainbow dark dragon let out a big loud roar.

"Jaden, Tara" They could actually hear the dragon say.

"We are right here, Jesse, Ember" Tara yelled back to them. The darkness was swirling around them and then suddenly the darkness left the dragon and the white rainbow dragon was back again. Jaden knew what that meant. The remaining darkness was leaving the field. Jaden quickly looked over at Yubel alias Jesse. He could hear Jesse groan and energy merged around him. Seconds later it left his body and Jesse fell to the ground. Yubel, the real fiend Yubel, emerged above him in her true form. The twins sneered, but the power from super polymerization was still going strong. It fused Rainbow dragon and Neos together.

"Yubel, Meet your doom" Jaden the said "Come forth Rainbow neos". A white monster looking like Neos but with giant white wings appeared. It had 4500 att.

"Where, where am I?" said a weak drowsy voice suddenly and Jesse moved a little. He looked up at Jaden now. "Jaden is that you?". Jaden smiled happily at him.

"Jesse you are back" he then said. Tara looked over at Ember who was lying beside Syrus doing this duel. She was also beginning to wake up. She also looked a little groggy. Tara quickly rushed over there to see if she was okay. Jaden was okay with that. He could handle the duel and Jesse from here on.

"What happened?" Jesse questioned and groaned in pain "Did I do something bad?". Jaden was on his way over to him when he heard Yubel chuckle above them.

"The twins rescued you. They rescued their dear friends" Yubel then said "Of course I always knew they would".Jaden looked puzzled up at Yubel.

"You did?" He questioned. Yubel smirked a little.

"I never intended to keep your friends Jaden" She then said "It's the card. That's what I stopped to require. Don't you see, the only way you could free your friends was by using it, and you two fell for it. Sorry Jaden, cause now it is all mine". Jaden looked in horror, when Yubel was holding up his super polymerization card.

"Give that back" he yelled angry. He was not fond of the card, but his friends had sacrificed themselves for this card and Yubel was not gonna have it. "You can't just take my super polymerization, unless you played the trap card 'last trick' which means you can take a spell card from my graveyard". Jaden looked in horror when it indeed was that trap card Yubel had played.

"You set this up, but why?" He questioned confused. Yubel smirked evilly.

"Oh you will find out soon enough, because now the fun begins" she said and pointed at another trap at her side. It was called "Thousand buster". By giving up 1000 life points, Yubel could now destroy all monsters with more than 1000 att points, and then they both take a 1000 points of damage. Jaden only having 300 left, and Yubel 500 left. However that actually didn't concern Jaden right now. The trap was about to explode with all that damage, and Jesse was right beside it. Jaden rushed over to the other side of the field and grabbed Jesse and jumped out of the way before the trap exploded. He shielded Jesse from the restly damage. The trap destroyed Rainbow Neos and the duel ended in a draw. No one got their wish fulfilled.

"Looks like we both lose" Yubel then said and smirked. She looked at Jaden who was lying on the ground after being hit by the restly damage while shielding Jesse. Tara rushed over to him and was helping him to get up on his feets again. In the background they could hear Yubel laugh once again. She was glaring at the twins.

"And now my dear twins, a new duel will begin in oblivion" she then told them. Jaden and Tara both glared back at Yubel. Whatever duel they were about to have, it couldn't be something good.

A,N: Dun, dun, dun. An interesting ending of the duel don't you think? Jaden and Tara are gonna have a duel like no other. Especially since Yubel now has super polymerization in her deck. In the next chapter a lot of things happens. Jaden and Tara finds out more about Yubel and her scheme, and are about to have one of the hardest duels yet. Then a lot of surprises who doesn't happen in the series, happens. Well let's just say, this is a different duel than the original boss battle with a lot of surprises. I think you are gonna be pretty surprised. Or so I hope. Then Syrus and Ojama yellow discovers something interesting, relating their supposed death friends. Hope that sounds interesting. However because I have vacation for now and are not home. It will take a while before the next chapter is up. Hope that is okay. Only two or three chapters left by the way.
