Jaden's p.o.v.

The elevator reached the top spot of the tower and the twins, Ojama yellow, Crowler, Syrus and the twins two spirit's marshmallow and Winged kuriboh looked around. Nobody knew what they would find when they reached the top. Jaden had thought about that a lot while they rode the elevator. What did Yubel's lair looked like? What awaited them at the top? Was he strong enough? When they arrived at the top, he looked rather surprised around, when he only found a long pathway leading into a more spacious field. There were no walls but dark clouds were surrounding the field, and could in some way be called the walls here. Jaden could feel his sister squeeze his hand tightly. He could feel how nervous she was. Marshmellow was sitting at her shoulder and looked concerned at her. It was as protectively as his winged Kuriboh was over him. He was flying in the air and also looked worried at Jaden.

"Welcome" said a voice suddenly and made the group look inside the room now. On a giant floating throne was Jesse alias Yubel sitting, and she was looking straight at them. Jaden sneered a little.

"Yubel!" Jaden and Tara then yelled surprisingly in unison. Jesse smirked.

"Jaden, Tara" he said and leaned back in the throne. He had apparently no intention of moving from that spot just now "Looks like you two made it. I have been waiting".

"Hey what's that? Isn't that.." began Syrus saying.

"Ember!" the twins once again said in unison. Jaden found it rather funny that they did that. They were not even thinking about it. Tara let go of his hand and rushed over to Ember. Jaden was right behind her.

"Ember! Ember wake up!" Tara yelled. She was holding Ember's head in her arms now "Please Ember, say something!". However Ember didn't move a muscle or say anything at all. They could hear Jesse chuckle now. Jaden looked up at him.

"She won't wake up Tara" Jesse then said "Ember wanted so badly to be with her beloved Jesse, so how could I say no. Her soul is where Jesse's is". Jaden sneered angry and was about to say something, when he noticed the duel disk on the ground.

"A duel disk?" he questioned worried. At first he thought it was Ember's but she was still wearing her in the belt on her body. Jesse chuckled again.

"That was left behind by it's former owner. He won't be doing any dueling where he is now" he then said and smirked "Wanna see what happened? I recommend that you two move a little away from there or you might get a shock". Jaden and Tara, while carrying Ember, managed to get some meters away before Jesse pointed at the duel disk and darkness surrounded it. A picture, an almost living hologram appeared. They saw Adrian and he was screaming in pain. He was wrapped in a whirlwind of darkness. Then his life point meter turned to 0. Seconds later he was slowly turning into stardust. Adrian let out a frustrated scream again.

"I am sorry!" Then he disappeared. Just like many others had in this dimension.

"That was creepy" said Yellow then after the image disappeared.

"Did Yubel do that?" Crowler questioned. Jesse laughed evilly.

"Oh yeah, I sure did" he then replied and grinned a little more. Then he looked at the twins "And you two are next". Jaden sneered angry. Yubel grinned again.

"You should see your face Jaden" Jesse then said "You are mad, you are scared, your sister is scared, and that is great. You are thinking of all those little friends you lost in this dimension. That angers you Jaden, but you better be careful. Last time you were upset you turned into an evil power hungry maniac. Kind of like me". Jaden bit his lip. He didn't like getting reminded of that. He had let Haou take over and many people had gotten hurt and was sent to the stars. All because he was weak.

"That will not happen again" yelled Tara then suddenly and took his hand "Nothing of that sort will happen to Jaden ever again. This time I am here with him". Jaden looked surprised at Tara, but then sended her a little smile. He squeezed his sister's hand. Tara is right. It will not happen again. She is with me this time. Jesse smirked and got up from the throne. Small light spots appeared in midair. They in some way looked liked stair steps. Jesse quickly walked down to them.

"Yubel I want.. answers" Tara then yelled out in a loud outburst "What is the deal with the prophecy? What's our connection to the king? Answer me!". Jesse looked at her with a cold look. Seconds later it turned into an evil smirk.

"Why do you think I have then?" he then questioned "Honestly Tara Yuki, a prophecy? Some king? I don't know what you are talking about". Jaden looked from Tara to Jesse now. He looked rather confused. Tara sneered angry.

"Don't play dumb. I know you and Haou were working together" she said coldly "I saw some of his memories. I snuck around in the castle. I know you had a deal around us. That Haou got one of us, and you got the other, but Haou betrayed you". Jaden's eyes widened. Haou and Yubel worked together, and had a deal regarding us? Jaden couldn't believe it. Jesse looked rather cold at Tara. Then he shrugged.

"Ahr yes I forgot. You have always been a curious little girl Tara. Always sticking your nose in others business. However I have no intentions to tell you two more about your own destiny." Jesse said and smirked "But yes, we worked together and Haou betrayed me. Stupid fool, if he had keep his deal, he wouldn't have lost here now would he? I told him I would claim you if he ever did".

"Well you can forget about that" Jaden then yelled back "Tara and I don't belong to anybody, besides each other. Your days of sending people to the stars are also over Yubel. You hear me?! This is only between you, me and Tara, so leave Jesse and Ember out of this and duel us in your true form". Jesse chuckled evilly.

"Leave Jesse and his girlfriend out of this?" He then said and smirked "Why would I do that? With this body I get to force you to fight your friend". Jaden sneered.

"No you don't. We can just drop our duel disk and walk away from here" Tara then said slowly "We decide over our own lives here". Yubel chuckled.

"Oh and where would you two then go? The only way out of this dimension is through me Tara" she then said and placed a duel disk and deck on her arm "Shall we begin? I will only duel one of you at a time, but you can decide on who would start off". The twins looked at each other. Yubel only wants to duel one of us? Why?

"Hold on you sure you both are ready for this?" Syrus then questioned and looked at the twins "You both had problems dueling so far". Crowler nodded.

"And what about poor Jesse? Are you just gonna start pummeling away at the boy? It is not his fault Yubel took him over you know?" he then said.

"Come on you two. Decide already" Jesse then said "What's wrong? You both love to duel when you were younger. Jaden even lived for it. If you to scared to duel, you must be to scared to live". Jaden bit his lip. He could see Tara take a deep breath.

"Fine I duel you then" she then said to Jaden's surprise. "Get your game on".

"No, I will duel her" Jaden said and placed an arm in front of Tara "Don't take this personally Tara, but Yubel is my card, so she is my responsibility. I have to face her".

"But I.." Tara began and looked over at Yubel who was still smirking "Time out Yubel. Give us a minute to discuss this". Jesse looked at her.

"Fine, it is not like we are in a hurry or anything" Jesse then mocked "I just have captured your friends, are about to beat your two's butt and take over the dimensions. But I guess I can wait that long for you two to decide". Jaden eyed Yubel a little and followed Tara a meter or two away from Yubel now.

"What Tara? I thought this was clear from the beginning. I am dueling Yubel" Jaden then whispered. Tara shook her head.

"No, I told you, I am not letting you do this alone" she replied "I have a feeling that everything is not as it seems. We are talking about Yubel here". Jaden took a quick look over at Jesse and then back at his sister.

"What do you suggest then? If you duel her, she will surely go all crazy and try hurting you. She hates you for suggesting that I should sent her into space Tara" he then countered. Tara nodded slowly.

"I know, that's why I am suggesting this" she said and began whispering into his ear. Jaden's eyes widened shocked. He looked over at Yubel again.

"You sure you want to do this?" he then questioned "If we loses then..".

"..Then we are at least together" Tara replied and smiled.

"Hey you two that minute have already passed" Jesse then said "One of you have to duel me now or I will decide hehe". The twins looked over at Jesse.

"Fine. I will duel you" Jaden then yelled "But you are gonna allow Tara to be there for support doing this whole duel". Jesse tilted his head.

"Why should I agree to that? That is almost two against one. Not fair at all" Yubel counted "There is bigger odds for you if I duel you one on one you know".

"You agree because if Jaden loses then you claim us both" Tara replied "Isn't that what you want? By doing that we don't waist time on two silly duels". Yubel smirked.

"That's true" She then replied "I agree if you two also share the pain in this duel".

"Deal!" the twins said in unison. Jesse chuckled.

"Well then get over here so we can get started" he then said. Jaden and Tara both nodded and began walking over to Yubel. They both made Crowler and Syrus take care of Ember first though. However thoughts were running through Jaden's head as he approached Jesse. Sooner or later we have.. I have to settle the score with Yubel. I don't wanna hurt Jesse. He is my best friend, but if I don't put an end to this, who knows who else gets hurt. Beside maybe I can save Jesse. When I was possessed by the king, Jim fought his heart out trying to talk some sense into me. He dueled to the end trying to save me from my own feelings. That's what I gotta do for Jesse. I gotta find a way into his mind, and get him to kick Yubel out. Jaden stopped up at the duel disk where Adrian had been standing. In some way he was talking his spot in this duel. Jaden looked down at the ground. But still Tara and Axel had the help from the eye of orichalcum. I don't have anything as powerful as that. What if I don't have the strength to do it? Even with Tara by my side. Adrian risked his life too but he wasn't able to break Yubel. Not even with Exodia. What if I do this and I am not ready? Yubel will defeat me and then all my friends will be trapped forever. Tara and I will belong to her, and Yubel will take over the entire universe, and it will all be because I wasn't good enough and.. Jaden's thoughts got abruptly interrupted when he felt warm arms around his waist. Tara's head was lying on his chest. Tears were running down his t-shirt now. Jaden looked rather shocked at her.

"Tara? You are crying?" he questioned confused and placed arms around her as well "Why are you crying?". Tara sniffed a little.

"Jaden you are not the only one with doubts" she then said in a low voice "I feel the same way as you. Yubel beat Adrian and Zane. There is a lot riding on this duel and we have barely recovered. I am scared". Jaden was not sure what to say in reply. He really didn't have any encouraging speeches, since he was feeling down as well.

"Jaden, Tara" said a voice suddenly and light appeared from both of their decks. Before they knew it, the twins were spiritually transported to another place. Jaden had let go of his sister and looked around. Tara did the same thing. Both of them quickly realised where they were. They were in neo space once again. Then out the blue every spirit they had on them appeared around them. Jaden's (now Tara's too) neo spacians and some of his elemental heroes were there. Monsters Tara knew was also there. Jinzo, Marshmellow and surprisingly Jim's Gaia. The last monster entering was of course Jaden's winged kuriboh. It nuzzled his cheek.

"Neos, Aquas, Everyone?" Jaden questioned confused "Are we having a party?".

"Yes" said Aquas and chuckled "You are both our guests of honours".

"We have gathered here to give you two a pep talk, Jaden, Tara" Neos then said. "You can't go into this duel doubting yourself. If you do, Yubel will own you".

"Whatever you do don't doubt you own spirits" Aquas continued "After all it is that unyielding spirit of you Jaden, and the protecting spirit of your sister that made it possible for you to save neo space". Aquas rubbed Tara's tears away and smiled.

"Sure you two don't have any magical artifacts, but you got us and each other" Aquas then said. The other monsters nodded in agreement.

"Jaden your greatest power is the ability to see the best in people, and yours Tara is your forgiving spirit."Neos then said "Your two's best weapon is your believe, that no one is beyond saving. You two must not forget that or all will be lost". Jaden and Tara looked surprised at each other. Seconds later then both nodded.

"No one is beyond saving" they said in unison and took each others hands "Got it".

"We can save Ember and Jesse together" Tara then added. Jaden nodded.

"And his crystal beast monsters as well" Jaden replied with a smile. Tara nodded.

"The darkness can be broken Jaden" Tara then said and smiled "Axel and I broke his hold on you. We can break Yubel's control as well". Jaden nodded. I get it now. This whole thing. Interdimensional funhouse. These mind games and using our friends as bait. It is all part of Yubel's game. Yubel has been trying to weaken us, by making us doubt ourselves. Jaden and Tara smiled at the monsters and seconds later they were back in their own bodies once again. In the background Jaden could now see Crowler, Yellow and Syrus rush over to them. Both yelling to them that they shouldn't do it. Jaden looked over at his sister, who looked more determined that ever now. He bowed down and grabbed Adrian's duel disk and tossed it over to Syrus.

"Stay back, and hold on to this" he then said. Syrus quickly catched the duel disk. He and Crowler took some step back, so they now were watching from the sidelines. Jaden took Tara's hand and activated his duel disk. He looked at Jesse.

"If you want a duel Yubel, you got one" he then proclaimed. Jesse smiled.

"I hope you say that" he replied. Tara squeezed his hand a little.

"Your games ends here" Tara then said in a brave tone "Jaden is gonna take you down". Jesse looked at both of them and smirked.

"Looks like someone is feeling better" he then replied. Jaden smiled at his sister.

"Thanks Tara" he then said and looked at his deck to "And thanks for the pep talk you guys. It helped a lot". He could hear Yubel sneer in the other end.

"Talking to your cards Jaden?" she sneered "We used to be that close, but then you betrayed me, by listening to that sister of yours, So now you two will feel the pain you put me through". Jaden's eyes narrowed. There were no way all this was Tara's fault, and even if it was Jaden wouldn't let Yubel hurt her at all.

"Let's do this" he instead proclaimed "If I win Jesse and Ember goes free".

"Hehe you will risk everything to save your friends. I agree, but I wonder if you can win without destroying Jesse. Looks like we'll find out now" Yubel then said and smirked "And remember Jaden, when you lose, you both belong to me!". Jaden sneered but nodded. The wish thread bonded them all three together and the duel began.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara looked from her brother to Crowler and Syrus to Jesse and back again. She felt rather nervous in this duel. Jaden had to go up again Jesse alias Yubel and if they lost.. Tara shook her head. She would rather not think about it. She couldn't believe she had suggested this. She knew what happened to her if Yubel actually won. She had a feeling she would get hurt. A lot. However Tara just couldn't let Jaden do this alone. Neos and the others pep talk had helped her a little and she was now more determined to do this. That said, she was still scared. She knew Jaden was scared as well, but their fear, they just have to overcome it. Tara's thoughts wandered to her duel with Zane. Her last duel with him before he disappeared. Tara still were rather sad about it, but she knew Zane had been extremely brave to duel in the first place considered his heart condition. She had to be that brave to. She had to protect Jaden.

The twins: 4000Lp.

Yubel: 4000Lp.

The duel started off and Yubel had the first move. In the background Tara could hear Crowler and Syrus discuss how Jaden would surely lose if he let Yubel get into his head. Tara sighed inside. That was properly true. One more reason why she was there. To make sure that things like that never happened. Jesse drew and activated the field spell "Advanced dark" on to the field. Tara bit her lip. That was the field spell she had used against Zane. If Jesse sends a crystal beast to his grave then the field acts as a shield and protects him from damage. Jesse then summoned "Cobalt eagle" to the field in att mode and ended his turn. It was Jaden's turn. He drew and was staring out in the blue with a scared face expression. Tara looked at his hand and on what he drew. She then looked up at the shocked Jaden, who was staring at the card like it was pure evil. Maybe for Jaden it was, since he had started of by getting polymerization into his hands. Fear was written all over his face.

"No, it's the card we..I used for evil when I was the king" Jaden mumbled in a seriously low voice. Tara was not sure anybody else could hear it "I can't use it..I".

"Why the hesitation?" Jesse then asked "Something wrong?". Tara looked up at her frightening brother. Then she took his arm.

"Jaden, look at me. You are not him. You are not the king. Polymerization is just a card. It's the user who decides if it shall be used for good or evil" Tara then said and made Jaden look at her "Haou may have used it for evil, but that doesn't mean you can't use it for good. You have to be brave Jaden". Jaden bit his lip.

"You are right. You dueled and got over your fear. I have to do the same" he then mumbled. Tara nodded encouraging, but deep down she sighed. Got over my fear? I have still not really dueled with my cards. I am just as scared as you Jaden.

"I play polymerization" Jaden then surprisingly yelled "I fuse Burstinatrix and Avian..". However after that Jaden once again stopped up. He covered his eyes and had a pained look on his face. Then Tara could hear weak thoughts coming from him. My poor friends. They all died because of me. No I can't do this. I won't let this happen again. Tara had a feeling Jaden would have tossed the duel right there.

"Jaden, relax. It is not your fault. None of this is your fault" She then said inside her mind and hoped Jaden heard her"You have to realise that. I know this is not easy. I blamed dueling for something dangerous. Something that could hurt people and I swore never to touch the game again. It was first when I dueled with Zane I realised that it doesn't always hurt people, and I began to touch the cards again. I can't say I am completely over it, but its a start. I don't want to force you to play the card. That is something you have to do on your own. You have to conquer you fear on your own Jaden".Tara could feel Jaden look rather surprised at her.

"You.. you are right Tara. We can't blame ourselves, because it wasn't our fault" Jaden then slowly replied "We still have a chance make everything right..I.. Tara I will be the example for you to get over your fear as well". Tara looked a little surprised at him, but nodded. If Jaden could do it, she knew she could as well.

"I summon to the field 'E.H flame wingman'" Jaden then yelled and this time he manages to summon the monster. Tara hugged her brother. He managed to beat his block. Jaden looked rather dumbfounded at first. Then he turned towards Jesse.

"Well done Jaden" Jesse then said and clapped "To think that hear at the end of the rope you find your inner strength. Now you both able to duel again". Jaden and Tara both looked determined at him. Tara knew Jaden was thinking of taking her down.

"Jaden, Tara, combine that inner strength you have with flame wingman's power and find Jesse and Ember's spirit" They could suddenly hear Neos say inside their head "By distracting Yubel, with Wingman's attack, you will have the chance to enter Jesse's mind, and once there you can search for your friends spirit. Hopefully by reconnecting with your friend, the evil controlling them will be expelled". The twins both nodded. That sounded like a plan. Jesse tilted his head.

"Why the hesitation again? You two aren't still scared are you?" he mocked. Jaden sneered and shook his head. He was about to attack, when Tara took his hand.

"Let me find Jesse and Ember for you. I wanna be of help to you" she then said "You concentrate on the duel and beating Yubel okay?". Jaden looked at her. Tara was afraid he would disagree, but seconds later he nodded.

"Fine, find him Tara. Find them. You need to confront Yubel anyway" he then said. Then he made Flame wingman attack cobalt eagle. Yubel just snort. She took emerald turtle and sended it to the grave. She took no damage. However this turn damage really didn't matter. The goal was to find Jesse. Flame wingman attacked with his fire and Tara ran in front of the attack and let herself get hit by the fire. That way her spirit could connect with the attack and she could enter Jesse's mind, which she of course did seconds later.

Fire was burning brightly around her when she entered Jesse's mind. It was rather dark in here, but Tara actually figured it was. When Haou had taken over Jaden, it was just as dark. She began looking around. She really hoped Yubel hadn't been lying when she said that Ember's spirit was at the same place Jesse's was.

"Jesse! Ember!" Tara yelled and looked around. "The real you's are in here somewhere right? Hello!". No response. She was not sure what was going on here.

"I don't know how it's happened, but it seems like Yubel has transferred Jesse's spirit some place else. If you find Jesse, you will surely find Ember as well" She could hear Neos say inside her head. Tara sneered angry.

"But if Jesse is not in his own body, then where is it?" she questioned. She needed to tell Jaden this. She quickly left for the outside world again.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden had just attacked with Flame wingman and right after that catched Tara when she entered Jesse's mind. She was now leaning up at him, with her head at his right leg. Jaden really didn't mind. He just hoped she was okay. Yubel smirked evilly.

"Hehe, you need to be careful, you are dwelling on your friend and you are doing so at the risk of your dueling skills" Jesse told him "You just wasted a turn on an useless attack. It didn't damage me". Jaden noticed that Cobalt eagle crystal was in his spell and trap card zone now. Fire suddenly appeared around Tara for a minute and she then slowly woke up and looked at Jaden. He felt rather relieved.

"Jaden, Jesse's spirit is not in his own body. Yubel must have moved it somewhere else" she began telling. Jaden looked rather surprised by that. He looked at Jesse.

"But if he is not in his body then where.. Maybe he is locked inside his own deck" he then said in a low voice.

"It is reasonable. Yubel needs Jesse's spirit to control the crystal beasts" Tara then said in a low voice and shrugged "Only Jesse is able to. Unless he gives them up by his free will".

"He didn't. I just know" Jaden replied quickly "Jesse would never give them up by his free will. They are his family.. they..". A roar suddenly could be heard and the twins looked puzzled around. Surprisingly no one else heard it. Crowler and Syrus, even Jesse didn't look confused at all. Then from their inner eye a dragon, a majestic black dragon appeared. Jaden and Tara looked a little shocked. Then they regained their compose. They knew what they had seen.

"Rainbow dark dragon, could you be the key" they whispered in unison.

Yubel's p.o.v.

Jesse smirked evilly. Watching the twins being so confused, so scared and so emotional was a new favored hobby for her. Their rainbow of emotions they had, it had always been a sight to watch. However when they were younger, Yubel was trying with all her might to prevent them from getting hurt or being sad. Especially Jaden. He reminded her so much of HIM. Tara on the other hand. Well at some point Yubel felt like she was steeling Jaden away from her. It wasn't enough that Tara decided to let another spirit take care of her. It wasn't against the spirit words rules. You could have multiple partners. Like Jesse here or even switch partners. You just had to make sure the card you left behind was cared for. Yubel was cared for. Jaden had treasured her card very much. Yubel also knew it was common by young children to go in the world and find their ideal partner for life. She could still remember when Tara and that blasted Cyber tech alligator bonded. However Yubel had been rather furious at that time. Tara clearly didn't know what she was doing. Didn't she know that Jaden and her of all people couldn't take another protector? Didn't they know how much she had done for them? Didn't they know that they needed her? Clearly Tara didn't. Therefore Yubel had seen to it that Tara knew it, but what did she get in return? Her Jaden valuing Tara more than her and sending her out in space. Yubel couldn't understand why. She was and felt rather hurt by that. However now she understood why. Now she had found a purpose for why the twins had acted like they did. She forgave them.. to some extent. It was for that reason she did as she did. It was for that reason she was dueling them right now. Yubel knew that as soon as this duel ended, she would reveal everything to them. Her plans. Everything. Then they would both belong to her forever. But she was still rather hurt inside. They still needed to suffer just a tiny bit more.

The duel continued. Jaden placed a face down and ended his turn.

"It's your move Yubel" Jaden then told her. Jesse looked at her. Then she grinned.

"Hehe, do you enjoy hurting your friend Jaden?" she then questioned "You must, because it seems like you are doing it all the time. Was I the first? Did I really deserve to suffer? Why is it, you have no problem tossing me aside?". The twins both just looked at her. They weren't talking. Not discussing anything with themselves. Nothing! Just staring determined at her. Yubel found that rather strange.

"Why aren't you two saying anything?" Jesse then questioned "Don't you have some flipping or sarcastically responds?". Again nothing. Jesse smirked by that.

"Did I hit a nerve?" he questioned "It is not like you two to be so tight lipped. Especially not you Jaden. You know what I think, I think you two are too afraid of the truth". The only response Yubel got from them, was Jaden narrowing his eyes. Fine. If they don't listen, then maybe this will. Jesse summoned "A.C.B. Sapphire pegasus" to the field. With its eff he could take a crystal beast and place it in his S/T card zone. Like "A.C.B. Ruby carbuncle". Because Ruby was special summoned, it could summon itself on the field as well as all the crystal beast currently in the S/T card zone. That was only Cobalt eagle for now. Jesse then activated the spell "Crystal release" and equipped it to pegasus. The mighty steed att got increased by 800 points. (1800-2600) It was now stronger than Jaden's flame wingman. Jesse of course made the pegasus attack and destroy Jaden's flame wingman. The twins both groaned in pain when the life point meter went down. However Yubel was not done yet. She made Cobalt eagle and Ruby attack them both as well. Tara and Jaden both gasped and was clenching around their stomachs where they last attack had hit. Yubel smirked. Their life points went down to 1800.

"Must feel weird to be hurt by someone you thought as your friend" Jesse then said "And now you can share in the pain and suffering that you put me through all those years. Jaden. Tara. I want you two to be hurt like I hurt".

"Well if that's how I save Jesse, then by all means Yubel, bring it on" Jaden then replied and sneered.

"Yeah.." Tara added slowly and then yelled "If that frees Ember as well, then do it".

"Okay then, if that's what you really want to experience, Jaden, Tara, then so be it" Jesse replied and smirked again. Yubel couldn't wait dish out some more damage on her next turn. In the background Yellow, Syrus and Crowler didn't like that at all.

"What in the world are the twins agreeing to?" Yellow questioned worried.

"It seems Jaden and Tara are going to risk everything in saving Jesse and Ember from Yubel's grib" Crowler replied. He was just as worried as Yellow.

"Then they better believe Yubel will do everything not to let go of them" Syrus added. They all just hoped Tara and Jaden would come out in one piece.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden and Tara both looked at Jesse with determination. Or in this case Yubel. The twins had finally realised that Jesse's spirit was not in his body and therefore must be transferred to his deck inside. Which then they also assumed Ember was as well. Secondly they also had a feeling they actually was inside the rainbow dark dragon. That vision they saw, or whatever they could call it, Jaden was not fully sure there, showed them the picture of that dragon. Jaden had a feeling it was Jesse and Ember's way to call out to them and try telling them where they were, so they could save them. That was of course something they would try to do as hard as they could. Just wait a little while longer. Jesse. Ember. Tara and I will try freeing you spirits from that card. Jaden and Tara had both silently agreed that whatever Yubel was trying to do, they would stand firmly to the ground and not get provoked. Regardless how much pain they had to endure. And pain they had. The triple attack from Jesse's beast just now hurt like hell, but the twins were not about to back down.

"Ember, Jesse, we are gonna save you" the twins said in unison. Jaden looked over at his sister with a pleading look. He was holding the duel disk near her now. Tara's eyes widened a lot. Jaden could see the fear written all over her face now. He knew she was still afraid to duel. The duel with Zane had been a good start of getting Tara to duel again, but the fear was still there. After all both of them hadn't used duel disks.

"Tara, please duel with me. Draw the cards" Jaden pleads and smiled at her "I beat my fear. You need to beat yours. My deck are similar to yours so.. I believe in you". Tara gulped a little, but nodded. With shaken hand she placed it on top of Jaden's deck and drew. She looked rather stunned. Maybe surprised that she actually managed to do this. Jaden smiled. As ironically as it was, a neo spacian, one now in Tara's deck also, was staring up at her. She had drawn "neo spacian grand mole". Jaden smiled and took her hand. He didn't need to say anything more. He knew Tara knew what he would say anyway. Duel with me. Therefore she instantly summoned the monster to the field in att mode. Jaden activated the trap "Common sacrifice". Now since Jesse had three monsters out, the two weakest, Ruby and Eagle, got send to his grave, and Jaden could now use their sacrifice to summon out "E.H. Neos". Jaden made Tara place the card on the field. Then he made "Grand mole" attack Jesse's pegasus, and because of it's eff, both monsters was sent to the owner's hand instead and took no battle damage whatsoever. Since Jesse's pegasus left the field, the spell it was equipped with got sent to the grave, and since it did, Jesse could now take a crystal beast from his deck, like Amber mammoth, and place it in the S/T card zone. Jaden really didn't care about that. He was just ready to knock Yubel down a little with Neos and Tara by his side.

"You ready Neos" Jaden questioned and looked at the warrior beside him "Let's go". Jaden was about to attack, but then something happened. In front of him now was the real Jesse standing. The Jesse who was dressed in his normal attire and not this dark antire Yubel made him wear. He was smiling happily at him.

"Jesse?" Jaden questioned confused "You look like your old self again".

"Jaden it's a trick" Tara then said slowly and squeezed his hand a little. The image of real Jesse disappeared in front of Jaden, and once again possessed Jesse was standing in front of him. Neos nodded as well.

"Yubel knows that if you are too concerned about hurting Jesse, you won't attack with everything you got"Neos added "But in order to save Jesse and all your friends, you have be willing to do whatever it takes. Don't let Yubel's head games stop you. The sames goes for you Tara". Both Tara and Jaden nodded.

"Thanks Neos and we won't" they said in unison and made him attack Jesse now. He had no more crystal beasts in his deck, so no more shields. Jesse got hit with 2500 att points and now had 1500 life points remaining. Jesse groaned a little by the attack, but soon after Yubel began to laugh a little.

"Hehe, You think that by chipping away of my life points you are actually hurting me?" Jesse questioned "Well you are not. You are actually only strengthening my will. With every blow you deem me, you keep reminding me of the pain. The pain that I have carried in my heart for years. All because of you two, and Jaden chose to cast me aside, rather than to fight for me. You two need me, and now you fight to destroy me". Jaden and Tara both nodded.

"To save our friends, then yes" Jaden replied and placed down a facedown and ended his turn. Jesse smirked and drew. It was his turn. He looked at his next card.

"Jaden, Tara, for this turn I am about to show you something incredible" he then said "And with it you two are gonna suffer an incredible defeat". Jaden and Tara both noticed that Jesse's duel disk lit up. That could only mean one thing. Yubel was about to summon the one thing they had been waiting for. Jesse started his move with summoning pegasus to the field once again. Then with it's eff, he placed "A.C.B. Amethyst cat" in his S/T card zone. Then he activated the spell "Crystal beagon". With it he could call out "A.C.B. Topaz tiger" to the field in att mode.

"I got three beast in my grave, and four beast on my field" Jesse then told them and smirked. He was holding up a card "Then there is this. The ultimate beast. I can only summon it when all crystal beasts are on the field or in my grave. Thanks to you, I got that. Be ready to beg for mercy you two. Rise my mighty beast. Rainbow dark dragon!". Jaden and Tara looked in horror when this giant dark dragon, with att on 4000, was looking at them with an cold dark expression. This was a foe you couldn't take on lightly. Jaden and Tara gulped a little inside. There it is. Let's just hope Tara and I were correct about this. Hopefully Jesse's and Ember's spirit are locked away and trapped inside this dark dragon. Now we just have to get through to them.

"Jesse, Ember are you in there?" Tara then suddenly began yelling out loud "Say something. Please!". Jaden could hear Yubel chuckle at that.

"Now get ready" Jesse yelled "Rainbow dark dragon, attack Neos!". Jaden looked in horror. Tara had just got out in plain sight trying to talk to the dragon. She was surely gonna get hit badly by this, which he knew was what Yubel wanted. Without thinking about anything else Jaden rushed over to her and tried to pull her away, which only made the attack hit Jaden as well. Neos got destroyed and the twins got blown backwards into the ground. Both hitting the ground pretty hard. Jaden groaned loudly. Their life points went down to 300. He could hear Tara groan beside him now. Jaden lifted his head slowly. Eyes still closed. His body was aching like hell after the attack.

"Tara, you okay?" he questioned and was moving his hand around, trying to feel and find hers. Seconds later Tara's hand hit his. She growled in pain.

"I.. I think I manage" she said slowly "Maybe not the best idea eh". Jaden grinned.

"You can say that again" he replied and opened his eyes and smiled at his beat up sister beside him "Oh well nothing to do about it, but to move forward". Tara nodded and they both began slowly getting up on their feets. They refused to let go of each others hand. They always felt stronger when they were holding hands, even through it took them longer to get up. Then they both heard it. Voices. Voices they knew.

"Jaden, Tara, Help me! Help us please" the voices begged. Jaden and Tara's eyes widened and they looked surprised at each other. It was in some way coming from the dark dragon. A picture emerges in their heads. A dark place with an dark abyss and floating crystals all around in there. Jaden and Tara were both focused on a giant crystals there. In it was two people. Jesse and Ember. They looked like they were sealed inside. They were both hugging each other as well as sleeping.

"Jesse!" Jaden said determined and got up on his feets completely,

"Ember!" Tara said and did the same thing. Then they said in unison "You are in there". The twins were both stumbling a bit.

"Oh they can barely stand" they could hear yellow comment.

"Oh this isn't good" Crowler commented "Yubel has two more crystal beasts on the field. If one of them succeeds in attacking, it is over". Syrus nodded.

"And they only got 300 life points to their names" he added. The twins didn't care.

"Jesse, Ember, listen up, hang on as long as you can" They said in unison instead "We are gonna save you. Somehow. Someway!".

A,N: Well that was that part. Interesting right? Or so I hope. In the next part the duel of course continues. Jaden and Tara fighting to get over the hurdles Yubel are throwing at them. They also both have one big thing they have to overcome here in the end. Or Jaden has. Then lastly Yubel's scheme is shown in the end. If I can write the next part right way, I will update soon.
