Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden looked surprised at the move his sister made. Tara had just sended Sparkman over to his side of the field. He wondered what she was planing. In the background he could hear Yubel chuckle evilly.

"Your sister. She wants to protect you from me" she pointed out "But nothing can save you from my fury. Nothing at all". Jaden snort to that.

"We will see about that Yubel. Now make a move" he then replied. Yubel smirked.

"Well since your sister activated a spell, my chronicle now has another counter" she replied and grinned "I must thank you two. For allowing my chronicle to tell it's story. Because of you, the first chapter has been written".

"The first what?" Jaden said confused "What do you mean?".

"You see, the spell chronicle tells a story of a duel. For every two spells my opponents activate, a new chapter get's revealed, and for every chapter you gets to chose a card I removed from play, and add them straight to my hand" Yubel explained. Jaden noticed five cards that was shown in midair now. Two trap cards, one strong monster card and two spell cards. Jaden's heart skipped a beat. One of the spell cards was "Super polymerization". The card she stole from him. Yubel noticed the horror written in his face and chuckled a little at it.

"Yes Jaden it is true. I have super polymerization. The card you and the king forged by gathering duel energy from different people" Yubel then said "With it I can reunite the 12 dimensions. So accept my gift of hardship, pain and fear and chose super polymerization". Jaden sneered. Yubel didn't have to remind him what he had done with that card, and how many lives they had been sacrificing for it. He knew that too well. He was staring at the card now. Super polymerization, what are Yubel and the king planing to do with that card? I am pretty sure I don't wanna find out.

"Yeah I don't think so Yubel" he then replied "I pick the trap "Zero spite". The card Jaden picked, ended up in Yubel's hand. The fiend girl sighed.

"Oh well, you disappoint me Jaden" she then replied "You're so stubborn. No matter. I can be very patient. I have waited years, so what's few more rounds". Yubel drew and sacrificed her two tokens to summon "Regenerating rose" in att mode. It was a weird looking rose monster with 0 att points. If's effect activated. It became the same att as the monster it attacked. Yubel was going for a double knock out with flame wingman. However when her rose died, she was getting two new tokens to the field. Ah not good, I am losing Flame wingman, and she get's two rose tokens? What to do? Yubel smirked evilly and attacked. Jaden looked in horror. He had no way to counter. Then suddenly out of the blue, Flame wingman split apart. Burstinatrix and Avian was now on the field in att mode. Yubel sneered annoyed.

"Grr, your sister is a pain in the ass" she then said in an angry tone. "When my rose attacks monster's in def mode, it doesn't gain any att". Jaden looked over at his sister and found out she had been using the spell "De-fusion". That way she saved his monster. Tara just smiled happy at him and waved a hand at him. In some way telling him, she was having his back, which Jaden appreciated. Yubel glared at her.

"She may have stopped my attack, but because she used a spell, my chronicle gains another counter" she then told Jaden. Jaden snort to that reply. That may be, but he didn't care. He was happy regardless if she gained a counter or not. Just knowing that Tara was having his back, gave him immense power of courage. Yubel ended her turn. Jaden was up. He drew and used the combination from his sister. With spark blaster (Jaden has 2 shots left), he made Sparkman switch that rose of Yubel's into def mode. Her rose couldn't use it's eff when it was in def mode. Jaden looked over at Tara. He wondered if Tara had known what Yubel was planning to do, before she even had done it. Jaden attacked and destroyed that rose with sparkman. It leaved Yubel with two tokens however, but Jaden couldn't worry about them right now. He was more worried about Tara right now. He decided to send burstinatrix over to her in def mode and ended his turn with a facedown. It was the king's turn. Jaden watched as Haou special summoned his prodigy with it's eff. He could summon this monster to the field when his opponents had monsters out and he didn't. Then he sacrificed it to summon "Malicious edge". Since he summoned a hero monster, Haou could also draw another card. Jaden clenched his fists. The king's deck resembled his in many ways and then at the same time, didn't. It was more evil that Jaden's heroes. Haou attacked and destroyed Tara's burstinatrix. Since Malicious edge was giving piercing damage, Tara also lost 1400 life points.

"Tara!" Jaden yelled in horror. He couldn't do a thing to shield her from that attack. Tara fell to the ground when the attack hit, but she was quick on her feets. She smiled at Jaden. She was trying to reassure that she was okay. Haou just glared at her and placed a facedown and ended his turn. Tara was up. She started off her turn by using the spell "Hammer shot" from her hand, and destroyed malicious edge. Jaden could hear Yubel chuckle in the background. Since Tara activated a spell her chronicle was full once again. Then Tara used her face down "Call of haunted" and brought back Burstinatrix. Since it died on her field, it apparently ended in her graveyard. Then she surprisingly used "Polymerization" and fusion summoned the two monsters on the field to form "Rampart blaster" in def mode. Since Yubel's chronicle was full right now, Yubel didn't get a new counter. Jaden made a note of that. He would use this manure when it was his turn. Tara used "Rampart blaster's" eff to deal 1000 points of damage to the king. She summoned "Wildheart" to the field as well in def mode. Tara then ended her turn with sending wildheart over to Jaden's field. She also placed a facedown.

"Your sister seems like she is scared" Yubel then suddenly said and chuckled evilly "Oh wait she is facing Haou. She must feel rather terrified". Jaden sneered angry.

"Stop mocking my sister" he said in a cold angry tone "She is just playing safe". '

"She never win with that attitude" Yubel just replied and smirked "Which reminds me, her spell once again powered up my chronicle. Decide a card Jaden".

"Fine, I decide the trap "fiend rose" Jaden proclaimed. Yubel smirked.

"Good because now the highlights of the duel is about to begin" she then replied "I sacrifice my two tokens to summon out Yubel". Jaden looked surprised when a copy of Yubel appeared on the field.

"Did you just summon yourself?" he then questioned. Yubel smirked.

"Yes so prepare to feel my fury" she said "It is rather unfortunate Jaden, but my alter ego cannot get destroyed in battle, and whatever battle damage she receives, it is dealt straight back to you. Let me show you what I mean". Jaden looked in horror when his sparkman suddenly out of the blue attacked. A giant root of thorns appeared around Yubel as a protective shield. Then without warning the thorns absorbed the damage and sended it back towards Jaden. Soon he was wrapped up by the roots, feeling the pain of Sparkman's attack and lost 1600 life points.

"Ah we are finally one" Yubel said in a happy tone and smirked "My pain is yours, my sweet suffering. All my sorrow, I share it all with you Jaden. Actually I wanted to share this with your sister as well, but a deal is a deal. Haou is taking care of her, hehe". Jaden groaned in pain and fell down on his knees when the giant roots of thorns let go of him. This attack had hurt a lot. Now he was actually a little grateful that Haou was taking care of Tara. His attacks couldn't be as powerful as Yubel's, right?! Oh man, so even if I attack that Yubel card, it won't take any damage. Only I do! In the background he could hear Yubel chuckle again. She activated samsara lotus's eff from the graveyard. It could special summon itself to the field now, however since the Yubel card needed to sacrifice a monster to stay on the field, it was quickly sent back to the grave. With that Yubel ended her turn. Jaden sneered again. I got to figure out a way to destroy that Yubel card, before I deal more damage to myself. He got slowly up and drew. He couldn't do much for now, so he only switched all his monsters to def mode, and placed down a facedown. Yubel was glaring at him.

"That's it?" she questioned "Come now Jaden, don't get boring on me. You are playing as weak as your sister. Why didn't you attack me just now?".

"Listen Yubel, I know Tara and I made you sad and lonely" Jaden then replied "And I am sorry you had to go through it alone. If we could.. if I could, I will go back and undo everything I did". Yubel smirked at him.

"You misunderstood me Jaden" she then said "Yes you and Tara caused me pain, but that pain made me strong. I don't want you two to feel sorry. I want you to feel pain". Jaden's eyes narrowed. So Yubel and maybe even the king, is clearly looking to get even with Tara and I, no matter who they has to hurt? But Yubel is the way she is because of us. Shouldn't I wanna help them? Jaden looked over at Yubel again. Then he shook his head. Pictures of all the events that had happened here in this dimension ran through his head now. His four friends getting sacrificed, because of super polymerization. All those poor people who lost their duels and got sent to the stars. Jaden sneered. Wait a sec, think about all the terrible things Yubel and Haou has done. If it weren't for them Tara and I would be chilling back at our dorms. You shouldn't wanna help them. You should be angry at them! Without Jaden noticing it, his eyes turned golden for just a second, before they returned to his original color. Anger had been flowing a little through him at that moment. Jaden however looked over at Haou and his sister now. It was the king's turn. Jaden just hoped Tara could stand up to the pressure.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara looked rather surprised at the fight between Jaden and Yubel. She was just as surprised when Yubel summoned herself to the field. Even Haou looked over at duel field of some seconds, before returning his glare at Tara.

"You could have damaged me more" Haou pointed coldly out "Why?". Tara bit his lip. She was actually not sure why. She could last round have attacked with Wildheart before sending it over to Jaden. Why she haven't was a mystery to herself as well. Maybe because she wanted to protect Jaden and she felt he was more vulnerable. Maybe because she also was a little guilty. Guilty that they have caused Yubel that great pain. However one thing was sure she was gonna protect Jaden. Regardless what. She looked at the King. She decided to not reply to this question. Then a scream of pain could be heard from the other side of the feel and Tara looked in horror when Yubel used her card to deal Jaden a lot of damage. She wished she could something, but she was not having anything on the field that could protect him. Then she could hear the joy in Yubel's voice when she injured Jaden. She sounded so insane right now. Tara looked scared at Jaden, when he fell to the ground. He groaned in pain.

"One?!" Haou then suddenly said and made Tara turn towards him "Yubel, you are wrong..". The king stopped his own sentence when he noticed Tara was looking at him. No more words was coming from him now. Tara looked a little puzzled at him. She wondered what he had been about to say. The king was about to draw when Tara could hear Jaden's apologize to Yubel. She could also feel his mixed emotions. If she knew Jaden correctly he wanted to forgive Yubel, but at the same time didn't, because of all the things she had done. She could understand him. Tara knew how much Jaden had cared about Yubel. She had been his best friend after all.

"Hmm interesting" Haou then suddenly said "I can feel the darkness. Jaden anger rose, for a second". Tara looked horrified at the king. She did remember Haou once told her emotions were the trigger to their powers. Tara had witnessed that herself, when she had destroyed that fiend unit with her power of anger alone. Also when she had gotten scared when Chaos sorceror woke her up. Her powers had reacted to her emotions. Oh Jaden please, don't get possessed again. She looked at Haou. She wondered if he actually could possess Jaden while dueling with her. Haou snort.

"I can Tara" the king then replied "I can still read your mind. Not your moves, but your emotionally thoughts. You two have not learned to block me off". Tara sneered angry. She was more happy when she didn't know that info. She just hoped Jaden wouldn't get to emotionally, so Haou could take over again. However the duel continued. Haou used "Dark fusion" once again. Surprisingly Yubel's chronicle didn't lit up. Tara figured it was because Haou was Yubel's partner. He fusion summoned "Sparkman" and "Clayman" to form "Lightning golem" to the field in att mode. He then uses this monster's eff to destroy Tara's rampart blaster. If that weren't enough, Haou used his facedown card "Call of haunted" to summon Malicious edge back. Tara was in quite some trouble now. Haou attacked with his monsters, and Tara would have been done for, if it wasn't for Jaden's facedown "Negate attack". It stopped Haou's attack for now. Tara let out a relieved sigh. She was still in this. Haou snort coldy and ended his turn with a facedown. Tara was up. She drew and summoned "Big shield gardna" in def mode. She tosses yet another facedown and ended her turn. Yubel was up. It came as no surprise when Yubel attacked with her alter ego. With her eff she forced one of Jaden's monster to engage her in battle. However Tara was quick on her feets. She activated her "Hero barrier" and wanted to protect Jaden from Yubel's attack. Sadly that didn't go so well.

"Too bad Tara Yuki" she could hear Yubel say "Remember the trap 'Zero spite'. Well you both should, it was a card my dear Jaden chose from my chronicle". Tara looked in horror when Yubel activated the trap, equipping it to her alter ego. This reduced the Yubel card's att points to 0 (it had 0 att, so no difference) and with this card Yubel could attack twice in each battle phase. The first attack got blocked by Tara's trap, however the second didn't. Yubel forced Jaden's sparkman to attack and seconds later 1400 points of damage got returned back to Jaden. Since it was in def mode, Sparkman's def points got dealt as damage instead. Jaden let out yet another scream.

"Jaden!" Tara yelled in horror and rushed over to the glass wall and slammed her hands at it. She was hoping that she in some way could break it and rush over to Jaden. Tears were falling down her cheeks now. She couldn't do a thing to stop Jaden's suffering right now. Yubel continued her move. She summoned her lotus from the grave again and sacrificed it right away to keep her alter ego on the field.

"It will soon be over" Haou then said in a monotone voice "You don't have a chance against us Tara. Just accept your fate. You can't chance what was meant to be". Tara let out a little cry. Right now things really looked hopeless.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was not sure what to do right now. Tara had just tried to protect him, but failed. Yubel and Haou both just seems to be one step ahead of them, and that worried Jaden to no end. He needed to win this battle. He needed to do this so he could free Tara from that dimension. She was one of the few things he really had left. They had lost so many of their friends in this dimension. He just couldn't bear to lose Tara as well. He really didn't want to know, what happened to both of them if they lost. Jaden had a feeling Yubel would torture Tara to no end, and him.. well he wasn't sure about that, but whatever it was he was sure it was nothing good. If I don't destroy that card soon, Tara and I are both done for. Jaden knew that if he lost, there were slowly no saving for Tara in her battle against the king. The same could be said about him and Yubel.

"Jaden, Tara!" yelled a voice suddenly and Syrus popped up from out of the blue. Jaden had a feeling he just came through the clouds. He had appeared on Jaden's side of the field. Beside him was Ojama yellow.

"Syrus" Jaden said in disbelief "What are you doing? Get out of here!". Syrus shook his head and looked around. His eyes wandered to Yubel and Haou. Then to the twins. Yellow and Syrus looked rather surprised.

"Wait isn't that the king?" Yellow replied and looked scared "What is he doing here?". Syrus bit his lip a little.

"They are having a double battle" he proclaimed and then sneered "However that doesn't matter right now. Jaden, Tara, we saw them". Tara and Jaden looked puzzled.

"Saw who?" Jaden questioned confused.

"Chazz and the ojamas" Syrus replied and Yellow nodded "We saw them in these weird cosmic bubbles. We talked to them. Chazz told me something really interesting. You two can save everyone. They are locked inside some crazy dimension, and it is all Yubel's design. She created it, which means by beating her, they will all be free". Jaden's eyes lit up. He looked rather relieved.

"So Bastion was right all along" he then replied. Syrus nodded.

"Yes, however Jaden, maybe he was also right about something else" he then said "He also told you that you should control the king's power. You and Tara are his reincarnations right?! So that means you should be able to control his powers. You don't have to be afraid of these powers". Jaden looked rather shocked at Syrus. Tara was having a similar face expression. The speech from Bastion ran through the head of Jaden now. "Listen, you won't like this, but some of the stuff that vampire said was true. You, Tara, and the king are tangled together by fate. A fate who looks like is something you can't escape from. You feel bad about everything you did? Well then this your chance to do something about it. Your chance to put right what you made wrong. Sure the king is strong and powerful, but if you learn to control it, his powers are yours. The king's power is already dwelling inside of you two. You two are the reincarnation of the king, like it or not. But as long as you are scared of that part of you, you will never be the great duelists you two were meant to be". Jaden bit his lip. He looked over at the king. Haou's powers are inside of us? But if that is true how can he.. Bastion said they didn't know why the king was roaming around as a spirit, but we should still be able to use it? But what if I can't control it. What if I hurt Tara or... Jaden closed his eyes. He was not sure what to do now.

"You won't" said a voice suddenly and Jaden opened his eyes in surprise. He looked over at the other end of the field. Tara was smiling at him.

"Jaden, please don't be scared. We are twins, we have been able to do this for a while now right? However we were having our own self pity and guilt, that we forgot our true bond" he could then hear Tara say inside his head "I can hear everything Syrus just said by the way. Haou makes us able to hear you on the other end. He is the reversed kind of type. He mostly let Yubel explain everything. However I believe Yubel doesn't want you to hear us, to break our bond. However is our bond really so frantically, that a dimension can split us apart?". Jaden eyes widened.

"No of course not. We have been through so much together" he then replied.

"Then you also know what we must do. We must beat Yubel and I Haou in this battle. I don't think he will let you defeat Yubel so easily. We must use Haou's powers in this duel Jaden. I believe a shard of it is inside us" Tara then said. Jaden looked rather shocked at her. He could hear Tara sigh. She smiled a tiny smile at him.

"I know it is not easy, but I believe we can access it. That shard of power" She then said "I have used it, while Haou was around. I never told you because like you I felt guilty and ashamed of what I had done. At the same time maybe I also was scared of it. Just like you Jaden. However we no choice now. If we don't access it, we will surely lose". Jaden sighed deeply and nodded. He could see Tara smile at him.

"Jaden if the darkness takes us over, then at least we are doing it together. That is always a plus right?" Tara then said and Jaden couldn't keep himself from smiling.

"Are you going to make a move?" Yubel then suddenly said and broke the conversation between the twins "Jaden? What's the matter? You aren't going to give up are you? After all I done for you, I need you to step up". Jaden nodded and closed his eyes for a little bit. Thought were running through his head now.

"Don't worry Yubel, I am gonna step up. I am gonna end you, and Tara is gonna end the king" Jaden then told her "For too long we have been scared. Scared of our own anger, but I am not scared of my anger any more. You are going down. Once and for all". He opened his eyes and they were now completely golden.

"Jaden, I don't like the look in your eyes" Syrus said a little scared. Jaden figured it was because he was worried that the darkness, or the king took him over again.

"Don't worry about me Syrus, I am okay. I understand what needs to be done to win this duel" he then said and smiled a tiny smile "My sister can be quite convincing. We have to use the power of darkness. The supreme king's powers".

"What?!" Yubel said a little surprised. Jaden nodded.

"That's right. We can't be afraid of these powers anymore. As Bastion said we are the reincarnation of the king. These powers are a part of us and with them we are gonna defeat you two". Yubel looked rather shocked at that statement.

"Defeat us?! But you can't..".

"Oh yes I can and it starts here" Jaden proclaimed and drew. He looked at the card and nodded. He played the spell "Neo space wave".

"With this card, I can bring out my neo spacians" he said and looked at Yubel "Yubel, these are the cards there were infused with the cosmic energy I wanted you to have. With them and the power of darkness that the king possesses, you don't stand a chance". Jaden then removed his three elemental heroes to call up three neo spacian's in their place. He summoned "Aqua dolphin", "Glow moss" in att mode and "Air hummingbird" in def mode.

"These cards have always been by my side" Jaden then continued "And in a second Yubel, you will meet them up close and personal". At that Yubel sneered angry.

"I look forward to that" she then said "To think that after all these years, I might actually have the chance to destroy the cards that replaced me in your heart, and it is you who will help me do it. Remember for every spell, my spell chronicle gains power, and in the end it will destroy you and your neo spacians". The first counter lit up. Jaden snort a little by that.

"Well I am not changing my game plan" He then replied "Spell card or no spell card Yubel, now check this out". He played another spell card called "Nex". With it he could evolve glow moss into "Twinkle moss".

"And then I use my eff" Jaden could hear Air say and Jaden nodded. He could need a life points boost. Because Yubel had 3 cards in her hand, Jaden gained 1500 life points. Then he used twinkle moss's eff. He drew a card and depending on what type of card Twinkle moss gained a new power. He drew the spell "Space gift" and because of that, twinkle moss could now attack directly. Yubel lost 500 life points.

"Then I use the spell space gift" Jaden then said. Yubel sneered.

"Lucky for you Jaden" she said coldly.

"Yes, your spell chronicle is full, so the spells will keep on coming" Jaden replied. With space gift he could draw one card for each Neo spacians. He had three, so he got three cards. In the background he could hear Yellow and Syrus comment on that Jaden didn't have to worry because it was full. However Jaden was not agreeing. Her chronicle couldn't get charged for now, but at soon as it was Yubel's turn, she could force Jaden to make her hand even stronger. There were only three cards left.

"Don't worry Jaden. Before it is Yubel's turn, she will have to get passed me" he could hear Tara say inside his head."When it is my turn, I might have a move that can set that chronicle out of the game for awhile". Jaden smiled.

"Sounds good Tara" he replied "I will send you over air, so you can charge some life points too". Surprisingly Tara shook her head and was holding one card up.

"No, you need all the life points you can get to beat Yubel. Send me Twinkle moss I need cards" she replied. Jaden nodded. Placed a facedown and sended her twinkle moss. He was curious to see how Tara fought against Haou.

Tara's p.o.v.

Jaden: 2500 lp's.

Haou: 3000 lp's.

Tara: 2600 lp's.

Yubel: 3400 lp's.

Tara smiled a little when Jaden ended his turn and sended her twinkle moss. She wondered why they hadn't tried to contact each other in this way before now. They had been able to do that since the events with the society of light. But better late than never. Tara looked over at the king. Her eyes were flashing as gold as his now. A tiny bit of darkness was shown around both of them as well. Not enough for Yubel and Jaden to really notice though. They both could summon a lot more. Tara knew her darkness, if she let it, would instantly try equaling the kings, but for now they were only acknowledging each other. Or the powers were. It was in some way a kind of greeting. Then Haou snort coldly.

"So, you are letting powers out" he then said in his monotone voice. Tara nodded.

"Yes that is the only way I truly can beat you" she proclaimed. Haou snort again.

"Foolish little girl. You really believe you and Jaden are capable of controlling it?" He then replied "Let alone beat us with it?". Tara snort at that.

"This power is something you two awoke in us, and now we will use it for victory" she replied "Now do you regret that you trained me?". Haou glared back at her.

"No, I don't" he first replied, then added "You can't beat me with my own powers".

"Well we are gonna find out soon enough aren't we you're majesty" Tara then said and smirked "We both know that in the end, only one of us two can be the winner. So lets find out who it is going to be". Haou's eyes narrowed.

"As you wish Tara" he then replied and drew. A black force flew towards Tara as the king drew. She quickly countered with her own "It is my turn".

Haou started off with activating Lightning golem's eff, but Tara had been ready for it. She activated the trap "Memory loss". She could use it when an opponent's monster uses an effect. It negated that effect for the end of this turn, and even switched the monster in defense mode. Haou glared at Tara. Even if he had malicious edge attack, the attack would be pointless since both monsters had the same 2600 att and big shield gardna def.

"Still only stalling Tara" Haou then pointed out. Tara shrugged.

"That changes, when it is my turn" she then replied just as coldly. Haou sended her a cold look. In some way Tara had a feeling his eyes said, bring it on. She was gonna show him alright. The king ended his turn. It was Tara's turn. She started of by using the spell "Pot of greed" and gained two more cards. Yubel's chronicle was full after all. Then she summoned "Neo spacian dark panther" to the field. He purred a little.

"Hello Kitten" he said and rubbed up at Tara's leg "You look better. More determined as well. That is good, because you crying makes me sad". Tara patted it on the head. She remembered the trip to the village. She had been sitting on dark panther's back on the way down there. Panther then turned his face towards Haou and sneered.

"Kitten what do you want me to do?" He then said and glared at the king.

"I like to add some lightning please" Tara then replied with a smirk. The panther nodded and changed until there was a copy of Haou's lightning golem. Then she used the monster's eff against it and destroyed Haou's monster. Just like that. Then she uses "Mystical space typhoon" to destroy Haou's "call of haunted". That sended malicious edge back to the grave. She attacked with her monsters. Panther damaged him with 1000 points. Twinkle moss allowed Tara to draw a card and she draws a spell. A spell she had been waiting for. Haou lost 500 points for Twinkle's direct attack. Haou didn't seem so faced, but he never does. Tara placed a facedown and played the last card in her hand. The spell "Counter cleanser". Tara payed 500 life points and every counter on every card on the field got clenched. Yubel's eyes widened.

"Wait what?" she yelled angry, when the counters from her chronicle disappeared.

"Well you have to start over" Tara replied and Jaden repeated it on the other side of the glass wall. Tara was sure she had never seen Yubel so angry before.

"I am gonna get you for this" Yubel shouted angrily and glared at Tara. Jaden snort.

"To get to Tara, you have to go through me" he then proclaimed "And I won't allow it". Tara smiled a happy smile. She sended over twinkle to Jaden once again and ended her turn. Yubel was up. Tara just hoped Jaden was ready for her.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden smiled proudly when Tara clenched Yubel's chronicle. In some way it was out of the game for now, since Yubel needed them to use spells to power it up. Jaden had played a lot of spells, so the need for that was not so important right now. Right now he just had to survive this round with Yubel. It had possibly not been a good idea to stir Yubel's anger even more, but Jaden really didn't care. He was grateful for his sister's help. Her and the king was fighting pretty hard with their own powers and darkness was flowing around at their side of the field. Jaden was not worried or surprised. He just believed in Tara and that she could handle the pressure of the king. He had his own battle with Yubel to worry about. Right now Yubel was staring angry at him. Jaden's last sentence hadn't been the wisest of choices, since Yubel anger was now gonna be slammed towards him. This was properly gonna hurt. A lot. He wasn't disappointed when the Yubel card forced Aquas into battle. Making the dolphin attack and seconds later the thorns sended it back to him. Jaden let out a little scream and felt 600 life points got drained out of him. Then the thorns let go of him. Jaden groaned in pain.

"I am sorry" Aquas then apologized "I couldn't help but doing it".

"I know that" Jaden reassured the dolphin. He didn't blame any of his monsters for his. He could hear Yubel sneer.

"You know nothing Jaden" she then said "This is all your fault. You and your sister's fault. You sended me into space. Now revenge is mine! Due to Zero spite's eff, we get to attack each other again. So here comes the pain Jaden". Jaden watched in horror that Aquas attacked the Yubel card and seconds later slammed yet another 600 life points away from him. Yubel smirked and summoned her lotus combo again, so her alter ego could stay on the field. Then she placed two facedowns and ended her turn.

"I call this, a touch of blade justice, don't you think dear Jaden?" Yubel then said and smirked "My best friend hurt me, and now with each move, your best friends hurt you. Now answer me this, what would you think those sent to the stars would say, if they saw you embrace the power of the supreme king again". Jaden bit his lip a little. They properly never forgive me, much less understand. Maybe I am going about this all wrong. Maybe Tara's hunch was wrong.. I..

"Jaden, you can't listen to her, because then you start doubting yourself, and the king will take over again" Syrus then suddenly yelled "I know he is dueling Tara right now, but you are both using his powers, so there might be a slim chance he'll do it".

"Jaden, Syrus is right" Tara replied in his head "One slip up and we are taking over but the darkness. You have to believe in yourself". Jaden nodded slightly.

"I know, I have to follow my own advise" He then said "But Tara you seem to be in control. How are you able to handle it?". There were silence for a while now.

"I'm not really in control. These powers are triggered by our feelings so.." Tara then said slowly "I'm just focussing on the cause. That is enough for me to keep myself level headed. That and that I am fighting to protect you. Everything else doesn't matter. For now!". Jaden looked surprised up at Tara. Then he nodded. Tara is right. If I want to use the power of the king, I got to come to grips with what we.. I did. It is my fault my friends were lost, but now Tara and I can rescue them. I have to trust in the strength of my deck to write all the wrongs I caused. He looked over at Tara. And secondly I am fighting for my sister as well. When we use over power together. No one can stop us. Then Jaden drew. It was his turn.

"Jaden, how about a power boost?" Air then questioned and smirked.

"Sounds good" he replied and air used it's eff and gave him 1500 more life points.

"Ahr that bird brain of yours will pay for that" Yubel yelled annoyed "I can't wait to take him out". Jaden snort to that.

"We will see about that" he countered "Cause I play 'card ejector'. With it's eff, your samsara lotus is removed from the game. In other words, your resurrection combo is no more". Yellow smiled happily at that move.

"Haha see yer Yubel. There is nothing to sacrifice" he then replied.

"Maybe, but I am sure that card isn't going away that easily" Syrus then replied. Yubel activated a trap, but Jaden couldn't see which one. Yubel sighed deeply.

"Jaden, Why do you do this? Why do you try to get rid of me?" Yubel then questioned "Is it all to protect your new friends? You work so hard to keep them safe, but you will not save them all". Before Jaden knew it, his card ejector suddenly began flashing and the card left the field. He looked over at Yubel and noticed that she had triggered the trap "Zero hole". It destroyed the summoning of that card. However luckily for Jaden, he was having a plan B. He activated the trap "Neo signal". Since Yubel destroyed his monster, he was able to summon another neo spacian. He chose "Grand mole". Yubel didn't look pleased.

"Another one of your friends I take it" she said. Grand mole smiled.

"Hey boss let's party" the mole then said with a smirk. Jaden nodded.

"Sure have a crack at her" he replied and made the mole attack the Yubel card. Because of his mole's eff, when it attacks neither of the players takes any damage and both cards are sent back to their owners hands. However Yubel was ready for that move as well. She activated the trap "Hate buster". With this card both of the monsters were destroyed, but Jaden took damage equal to the att of his mole. That's 900 points of damage. A giant explosion occurred and a lot of smoke covered the field. Jaden groaned a little, because of the lost of life points.

"Well at least her Yubel card is off the field. Thanks for your help pal" he said slowly and opened his eyes. A dreadful sight met his eyes.

"Think again" he could hear Yubel say "I have evolved". On the field now was a two headed dragon like creature standing, who was having similar features as the Yubel card. Skin black and purple. Wings similar to Yubel's wings, and that eye she had on the forehead, was now on this new monster's chest. It was also having 0 att points. The real Yubel, the one doing the dueling, landed on the neck or shoulder of the two dragon heads and was staring down at Jaden with an evil smirk.

"Meet my new body Jaden" she said "Meet 'Yubel, terror incarnate".

A,N: Dun, Dun, Dun. Cliffhanger! Yep stopping in the middle of the important part of the duel. So Jaden got rid of the Yubel card, but well got Terror incarnate in it's place. Wonder if that is good or worse for Jaden now. Here is a picture of her new body if interested. 

the next chapter and hopefully the last one, Jaden is facing up against Yubel with hardships. A lot of hardships I may add. And there is also some surprises left, to make this chapter even more interesting and intense. Tara is gonna face up later against one of Haou's most strongest fusion monsters. That is not gonna be piece of cake. But she hopefully are bringing something out to change the ties in her favor. Only one chapter left and Season 3 is done.
