Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sighning. She was hiding inside the white dorm. She wanted to be alone! She felt weird! Tara didn't understand why?! She was one of the most important members of the society of light. She was the Queen of light! Master Sartorius's eternal servant! So why was she feeling so weird! Why was she feeling so sad? And why was Jaden and the boy Zane inside her mind all the time! Sartorius had told her to forget Zane, so why couldn't she! And why was Jaden on her mind all the time too! He was her master's target and her brother, so why was she wishing to see him again! He was only a stupid boy who was trying to ruin her master's plan! Nothing more! Tara sighed. What was she actually doing? No one knew she was hiding inside the libary! No one! Not even her master! Wasn't she actually ruining his plans also? By not being by his side! Tara didn't know what to do! She was hiding her head between her knees now! She felt so lost! Suddenly she could hear the door to the libary open! She knew someone was coming! She grabbed a book and pretended that she was reading! A little bit after, she saw Chazz! He was searching for something. After a little time, he saw her on a chair. He walked over to her.

”Tara, my Queen, why are you in here?!” He asked confused. Tara smiled a fake smile at him. She placed the book at the table beside her.

”Um I am just reading!” She said innocently. Chazz shrugged a little.

”Um okay my Queen!” He just said ”I just need some information! For the master! Normally it would be your job! The master is actually looking for you!”. Tara got up from the chair. She couldn't ignore a order from her Master!

”I will attent to him right now!” Tara said ”He is in his room right!”. Chazz nodded. Tara began walking towards Master Sartorius's room! Tara was actually smiling a little. Maybe Sartorius could help her! Maybe he knew what was wrong. Maybe he really had the answers she seeked!

”You are wrong girl!” said a voice suddenly. Tara looked confused around, but she couldn't see anyone! Tara shrugged a little. Maybe she was just imagining things.

She continued walking.

”You are not imagining this, girl!” said the mysterius voice again ”I am talking to you! However you can't see me!”. Tara stopped confused up. What was going on here! Who was talking to her?!

”Who are you?” She said a little scared ”What do you want from me?!”. She could hear the mysterius voice grin a little.

”I am actually here to stop you!” said the voice ”If you go to Sartorius now, everything would end right here! He is not the one with the answers you seek! Your brother is! Sartorius will only lie to you! Jaden has the answers!”. Tara felt even more confused! Who was she talking to? What was going on here? Her Master was lying? No he would never do that! She could hear the voice grin a little again.

”Since you don't believe me! I have to show you!” The voice said. Suddenly Tara could see a lot of pictures inside her mind. They were flashing and it was hard to see what it actually was. However Jaden was shown on every flashing picture. Suddenly they stopped. Tara felt to the floor, and had a headache. However she felt happy inside! She didn't know why?! Tara got up on her feets again.

”Now go! Find your brother! If you don't! Then Jaden won't have the power to save you!” said the mysterius voice. Tara looked around and began leaving the white dorm. She had disorbeyed her master's orders, however for the first time ever, Tara didn't care! She wanted to feel this weird happiness again. She began running away!

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden, Hassleberry and Syrus was sitting outside. It was in the afternoon, in the middle of the Gx turnament. Jaden was bored and was leaning up at a tree. Hassleberry and Syrus was looking at their cards and was trying to make their decks even better. Jaden looked up in the sky and sighed.

”Uh, Why am I not being challenged yet!” said Jaden and sighed ”This is really boring!”. Hassleberry and Syrus both grinned.

”Um I wonder why!” Syrus said and grinned ”Maybe the students want to keep their medals!”. Hassleberry was grinning too. He was agreeing with him too. Jaden sighed. Suddenly Kuriboh showed up! The spirit was pointing in the sky. Suddenly the sky turned black and suddenly in the middle of the forest a giant pillar of fire appeared. Jaden and co. looked really shocked at it. What in the world could that be?

”It must be a duel!” said Hassleberry concerned ”But who's dueling!”. Jaden looked at the pillar. He was sure he could see some glowing eyes in there. Suddenly everything went back to normal. Jaden and co. got really worried!

Time skip.

A hour later. Pegasus and Chumley arrived on the island. Jaden and Syrus were both happy to see their pal again. However Jaden really wished that Tara also was here! She couldn't miss such an opportunity. They were all assembled at Sheppard's office. Chumley gave Jaden a giant hug, however he noticed that Tara wasn't with them. Pegasus also noticed that. Jaden didn't want to lie to them, so he told them everything that had happened. Tar, saving his life in the duel with Aster, by sacrificing herself, and that she now was in the society of light. Jaden noticed that Pegasus had a really calm and cold expression on his face. It looked like it really didn't surprise him at all. Jaden ended his story by telling about that hero card who apparently had possesed Sartorius! Pegasus's eyebrown lifted a little.

”I am very sorry to hear that Jaden boy!” Pegasus said in a worried tone ”Losing someone who is dear to you! It must be really hard!”. Chumley was crying.

”Oh my lischus friend Tara!” He said and gave Jaden a bear hug. Jaden lost all air he had in his lungs now. Syrus intervened and saved Jaden for passing out. Jaden looked at Pegasus and Chumley now.

”So why are you here?!” Jaden asked. Chumley and Pegasus looked at each other and sighed. They began telling Jaden a story!

”What the copy of the winged dragon of Ra got stolen!” Jaden screamed. ”And you are telling me, that one of your employee has stolen the card!”. Pegasus and Chumley both nodded. Jaden was shocked.

”We actually believe that the employnee is on the island right now!” said Sheppard worried ”I need to cancel the the turnament for the time being!”. Jaden looked in horror. So that giant fire pillar could actually be Ra! Jaden clenched his fists. He couldn't let a so powerful monster run around on the island. Someone could get hurt. Jaden was thinking of his sister now! He really hoped she was save!

Time skip.

Jaden was at the slifer dorm. He was about to assemble his deck one last time. Sheppard had forbitten every student for leaving their dorm, so Hassleberry, Syrus and Chumley was also inside, making some hamburgers, to make Chumley happy. Jaden got up on his feets and placed his deck inside the deck case. The others looked at him.

”Where are you going sarge!” asked Hassleberry worried. Jaden didn't say anything.

”Oh you are about to go face Ra and that duelist's of pegasus right!” said Syrus worried. Jaden sighed and nodded. Since when was Syrus so good at reading him!

”Yeah!” said Jaden and sighed ”I want to help Pegasus! And stop Ra!”. The others looked at each other and suddenly they were grinning. Chumley got up on his feets and handed him a card.

”This is my newest card!” said Chumley and smiled ”This will help you against Ra! I just know it!”. Jaden looked at his friends. Apparently they knew what he was about to do, before he did! Jaden smiled and walked out of the dorm. He needed to find Pegasus and his mysterius duelist.

Time skip.

Jaden found Pegasus and his mysterius employnee Franz, who was the one who had stolen the copy card of Ra. He was telling, with a germany accent, about the 3 Egyptian god cards. Obelisk the tormentor, Slifer the sky dragon, and the winged dragon of Ra, who was the strongest of them all. He challenged Pegasus to a duel, however Jaden intervened and took on the challenge instead. The duel began!

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was running around on the island. She didn't know where she was going. However she knew that if she ever would stop, she would properly return back to Sartorius! She could fell the light around her. Tara couldn't believe she was running away! Why was she doing that? She was disorbeying her master's order! However she couldn't help it. A little memory was surfacing! She could see Jaden, telling her that everyone had a choice! Was that really true?! Tara stopped up! She needed to catch her breathe. She could feel that the light was trying to make her go back. Go back to her comfortable home at the white dorm. Tara was about to do as it was telling her, when she heard a familiar catch phase ”Get your game on!”. Tara walked towards it, and saw her brother, Jaden Yuki, challenge someone to a duel! She felt happy to see him, but at the same time scared. She dicided to stay hidden in the forest and watch the duel for now.

Jaden: 4000Lp.

Franz: 4000Lp.

”Non criminal goes first!” said Jaden and drew. He fusion summoned ”Necroid Shaman” to the field. Then he used ”Necroshade's” special eff, and summoned ”Neos” to the field. Tara felt weird when she saw him. It was one of these cards, Master Sartorius warned her about! However it didn't look dangerous! Now it was the opponent Franz's turn. He drew and summoned ”Ra's disciple” to the field. When this monster is summoned, Franz could now get two more ”Ra's disciple” into his hand. Then he used the spell ”Trap booster!”. By discarding a card, he could now use the trap ”Ultimate offering” from his hand. He could now normal summon more than ones per turn. However every main phase Franz had to pay 500 points every main phase. Even Jaden's!. Tara didn't like were this was going! Franz payed 1000 lp's and summoned his two disciple to the field. Clouds were showing at the sky now, and soon after followed lightning. Franz sacrificed his three monsters and summoned ”The winged dragon of Ra” to the field. He of course lost 500 points, but Tara knew Franz didn't care! He had played the most powerful egyptian god card! Tara looked at Jaden! Was he sweating a little, and was that fear in his eyes. Franz was grinning! Tara noticed that Jaden had clenched his fists. Ra was growling out loud. It's att was the combined att points from the monster's who was sacrificed. Ra had 3300 att.

”I don't care how powerful Ra is!” screamed Jaden at Franz ”As long as I can protect the people I care about!”. Tara felt weird now! Why was her heart beating so fast? Why did she want to run over to him? Why does she want to protect him from Ra?!

”Franz, stop this!” screamed Pegasus ”Only a duelist chosen by the gods, can use this card!”. Franz was grinning. He revealed a field spell card called ”Mound of the bound creator!”. Tara saw some chains who shut up from the ground. It had suddenly bound Ra! Tara could hear Pegasus say that Franz had made this card himself. He could now control Ra! Tara clenched his fist! This was not right! Any monster should be free! Even an powerful god! Franz grinned and attacked with Ra! He destroyed Jaden's necroid shaman, and dealt him damage. Jaden had 2600 lp's left.

”Und now my boy!” said Franz ”Since a level 10 monster destroyed one of yours, you are hit by 400 point of damage!”. Jaden sneered and lost more points. Franz ended his turn. Tara could hear Ra roar and noticed that Ra was crying.

”What have you done!” screamed Jaden suddenly at Franz ”This is not right!”. However suddenly Tara could hear someone call Jaden's name. She saw Chumley, Hassleberry and Syrus running towards him. Chumley thought Tara, why did she know, what that big boy was called? However they were all here to back up Jaden. Jaden smiled and switched ”Neos” in def mode. Then he summoned ”Card trooper”, also in def mode. Then he ended his turn. There were not must you can do, if he was standing in front of a god card! Franz's turn! He summoned the monster ”Nubian guard” to the field in att mode. Then he attacked with Ra and destroyed Jaden's neos. Because of the field spell, Jaden also lost 400 point's of damage. Then Franz attacked with his other monster and destroyed ”Card trooper”, however it had a special eff. When it was sent to the grave, Jaden could draw a card from his deck. It was Jaden's turn again. He played ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. Then he summoned ”Burstinatrix” to the field in att mode. Then he used the spell ”Burst impact”. Now every monster on the field, beside Burstinatrix, got destroyed, and the owner got hit by 300 points of damage for every monster who got destroyed! Franz loses 300 points of damage! Jaden's friends congrats him, thinking he had taken down Ra! However it was not the case! Only Franz's other monster got destroyed! Ra couldn't get destroyed by an eff, because of the field spell! Jaden played the continue's spell ”Damage off zone”. Now every damage their would take for the rest of the duel is halved. Jaden ended his turn. Franz grinned. He told them, that he couldn't be beat. He payed 1000 lp's to activate one of Ra's eff. It could now destroy Jaden's monster.

”When you are playing with Franz!” Franz said and grinned ”You will get burned!”.

”I don't get you!” said Jaden suddenly ”You have this awesome job! And then you are trowing it away for a card?!”. Tara looked at Franz too. What was his problem?

”You don't know the whole story!” Franz said angry. He began telling that Pegasus had rejected the card he had made, and that Chumley had taken his seat! Apparently Franz was jealous of Chumley!

”So that's the reason!” said Pegasus! Franz grinned and said that he should have chosen his cards, instead of Chumley's. Pegasus did still not agree! Franz was furious! He activated Ra's final eff. By sacrificing almost all his life points, beside 1, he could give them to Ra and raise his att points.

”Now you have to respect me!” screamed Franz ”I am not controling a god! I am one!”. Franz was laughing like hell! Ra now had 4499 att. Franz was about to attack Jaden. However Tara could no longer stay put and watch. She rushed towards him!

”Jaden watch out!” She scream. She saw her brother look at her! He looked really surprised at her. Tara hugged him and was trying to shield him for the attack.

”Tara what are you doing here! Leave now!” screamed Jaden in the middle of the confusing and attack. She was just smiling at him.

”I don't know, but I can't leave!” Tara replied ”I just don't want you to get hurt!”. Franz attacked. A pilar of fire hit them both. Tara and Jaden both screamed.

”Haha!” yelled Franz in the background ”Meet your demise!”. However when the pillar and the smoke cleared, Jaden and Tara both had survived. Jaden still had life points. 900 to be eksact! If he discarded the card ”Damage off zone” Together with half of his life point''s, the damage this round, was Zero! Franz placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Jaden looked at Tara and hugged her back. Tara felt that weird happiness again! What was wrong with her?

”Tara!” He said ”Don't ever do that again! You could have got hurt!”.

”I... Jaden I..! What is wrong with me!” She said and cried ”I feel so confused! I am seeing things! I disorbeyed Master Sartorius's order! I am hearing things too! A voice told me to find you! It said you had the answers I seek! I feel so lost!”. Jaden smiled and grabbed her hand. Tara looked confused at him.

”I do Tara!” He said ”However I am dueling Ra right now! Please sis! Give me your strength! So I can win!”. Tara looked at him and smiled.

”I don't know why?! But I trust you for some reason!”. She took his hand. Jaden drew and smiled. He looked at her and then at Chumley.

”I drew your card Chumley!” He said and looked at Tara ”Only because of you sis!”. Tara felt so happy again. However the duel continued! Jaden played the field spell card ”Skyscraper 2 – hero city”. Since it was a new field spell, Ra was now free from the chains. Then the field spell's eff kicks in. Jaden can now summon a elemental hero monster from the grave, who got destroyed in battle. Jaden summoned ”Neos” back again. Then Jaden summoned ”Glow moss” to the field, and used it's eff. Franz should draw a card from his deck. He drew ”Monster reborn”, a spell card. Now Glow moss could attack Franz directly. He only had one life points left. However Franz revealed his facedown card ”De-fusion”. He split himself and Ra. He gained all Ra's att points. Ra had zero att now and fell to the ground. Jaden sneered.

”You are the worse Franz!” He said angry ”First you steal the card, then you hurt people with it, and then you just discard Ra! Not cool!”. Tara looked at Jaden!

”Yeah that is right!” She suddenly said ”You can't treat Ra like this! Anyone need to be free!”. Jaden and the others looked at her. Jaden smiled a sad smile and squeezed Tara's hand a little. Tara didn't know what the problem was. However Jaden continued his move. First he made Glow moss attack Ra and sent it to the grave. Franz lost some points. Then Jaden attacked with Neos and hit him with a direct attack. Then lastly he played the quick spell ”Necro illusion”. Now Jaden could resurect one of Franz's monsters. He chose of course Ra! Tara gasped when she saw the giant Ra on their side of the field. She had heard a lot about it from class. She hoped it didn't burn them to crisp or other bad stuff.

”You can't control Ra without the field spell!” screamed Franz at them. Jaden smiled.

”I don't need chains to battle with my monsters!” He says ”If Ra turns me to dust, then so be it!”. Jaden activated Ra's eff, gave his life points, Neos's and Glow moss's power to Ra. It had enough att to win the duel now. Jaden attacked. Tara closed her eyes, and a little bit after, she heard Franz scream. He had lost the duel. Tara opened her eyes and looked at herself and Jaden. They weren't harmed. Jaden smiled at Ra.

”Thanks for dueling with us!” He told Ra. Ra growled a little and disappeared from the field. Jaden let go of her hand, and walked over to Pegasus. He gave Chumley his card back, and Pegasus the god card. Pegasus walked over to talk to Franz, and Jaden walked back to Tara. She was feeling a little tired. Maybe because she shared her power with him. Suddenly Tara got up on her feets and looked confused at Jaden. She could feel the light around her again. She had fought the light on the way down here! But this time, she were to tired to resist any longer.

”I need to return to Master Sartorius!” She said in a plain voice and began leaving. Jaden rushed after her. Tara could hear he was saying something to pegasus. It sounded like ”I need to follow Tara!”. She could hear him scream her name. However she was still walking toward the white dorm. A little part wanted to be with Jaden, but that part was not strong enough.

”Tara!” could she hear Jaden scream ”Don't leave me!”. Tara took a last look at Jaden and didn't notice where she was going! Suddenly she bumped into something, or in that case, someone, and fell to the ground! Aster was standing in front of her.

”Tara!” said Aster surprised ”What are you doing here?!”. Tara got up on her feet.

”I need to return to my Master!” she said and began walking.

”Aster!” screamed Jaden in the background ”Don't let her leave! She want to return to Sartorius!”. Tara felt Aster's arm on her shoulder now.

”I am sorry!” said Aster suddenly and hit her on the head. Tara fell unconscious.

A,N: I am sorry that I am breaking this on a cliffhanger! However I will try be finished with the next chapter! It is a chapter without a duel again!
