Normal p.o.v.

It was a normal day at the duel academy. The first year had gone pretty fast, the second year was about to begin, and many things had changed. Chancellor Shepard has taken a break from the school, and had promoted Dr. Crowler to Chancellor. Yes! Crowler was the chancellor now! And it was not the only change around here. Crowler had hired a little man from france, to be his vice chancellor. His name was Bonapart, and right now, him and Crowler was rushing towards the harbor. They had heard a rumor about that the pro duelist, Aster Phoenix, was gonna be one of the new freshmens this year. Little did they know that he already had arrived at the island. 

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sitting on the beach. She was sulking a little bit. It had bin a while, since Zane had graduated, and left the island to become pro duelist, and she was missing him. She knew that Zane was really busy, but he could at least keep in touch with her. Tara was trowing another stone in the ocean again. Then she looked down at her feet, on the magazine who was placed at her lap, and sighed. It was the latest magazine from the pro league. She had looked in it a million times, but it didn't change the fact that there was nothing about Zane in it. He was not that famous yet. Tara sighed and got up on her feet. She was about to leave, when she heard a voice talking. 

”Um hello...!” said the voice and Tara turned shocked around. ”I don't hope I interrupted you in anything!”. A boy with gray hair and blue eyes, and was dressed in a gray suit, was standing behind her. He looked young, about same age as Tara. He was smiling at her.

”No you didn't!” said Tara and let out a sigh ”I just got scared, that's all!”. 

”Oh I am sorry!” said the boy ”But you are from here right? You can help me right? Because I am kind of lost!”. Tara looked at the new boy and nodded. 

”Um I can help, but why are you lost!” Tara asked. The boy smiled.

”Actually I was trying to find the card shop, but I have no idea where it is!”. He replied. Tara smiled. So he was a new freshman, thought Tara, of course she would help. She grabbed the new boys arm. 

”Come let me show you” She said and began walking. The new boy followed.

”Thank you!” said the boy ”I didn't catch the name of my savier!”.

”Um I am Tara, Tara Yuki!”. She replied ”What about you!”. 

”AP, I am called AP!” He said and smiled ”But then your the sister to the famous Jaden Yuki. The guy who saved us for the Shadow riders right!”. Tara smiled. 

”Well yes he did!” said Tara proud ”But how do you know!”. AP smiled. 

”It's the big news in the city right now!” He said ”The famous Yuki twins!”. Tara blushed a little. It was embarrassing.

They arrived at the card shop. It was still kind of shady in here, because the shop has bin closed for cleaning. 

”Dorothea, are you in here. Its me Tara!”. Scream Tara out loud. She saw AP cover his ears with his hands. Tara looked guilty at him. 

”Oh sorry about that! I didn't notice you were that close!” She said and bowed.

”Oh it is okay!” said AP ”But warn me next time!”. Tara nodded. 

”What is all this ruckus about!” screamed a voice from somewhere. Dorothea appeared from the storage. She looked tired, but when she saw Tara, her face lit up. 

”Oh Tara your back here again!” said Dorothea and smiled ”Are you here for another visit? That's makes a old lady happy!”. Tara grinned and shook her head.

”Sorry not today I am afraid! I am only here to show this freshman the way to the card shop!” said Tara and pointed at AP ”This is AP and he is..!”. But suddenly Tara's PDA began beeping. Tara looked and saw it was a message from her calendar. 

”Ups! Forgot I have meeting today with miss Fortaine. I have to leave now!”. Tara said and bowed towards both Dorothea and AP. ”Dorothea, please help AP with whatever he needs help to!”. Dorothea smiled and nodded. Tara rushed out of the card shop and towards Obelisk blue girls dorm. 

”I am not sure I am qualified for that kind of job, Miss fortaine!” said Tara polite. ”What about Alexis, she can take care of the freshmen, better than I can!”. She were at Miss. Fortaine's office. Fortaine had asked Tara to give the freshmen's from the girl dorm a tour around the campus. Miss Fortaine sighed. 

”Okay, I will ask Alexis!” said Fortaine ”I don't want to force you!”. Tara smiled and left the office. Tara didn't like giving tours right now. Sure she could handle one freshmen at the time, not a dozen. Like AP. Tara had a feeling she had seen him before and there were something mysterius over him. Tara shrugged a little. That couldn't be right? Tara arrived at her room. She had just placed herself on the bed, when suddenly the PDA rang. Tara instantly grabbed it and saw it was Zane's number. 

”Zane,!” She almost scream in the PDA. She could hear her boyfriend laugh.

”Hey Tara!” said Zane and grinned ”Let me guess, you have bin waiting for me to call you right!”. Tara blushed a little. Luckily Zane couldn't see it. 

”Um.. Yeah!” said Tara honest ”I actually thought you had forgotten me!”. 

”I could never forget you Tara!” He said ”But I am sorry I didn't call you sooner. The pro league is pretty tough, and I have had pretty many matches already!”. Tara grinned a little. She was so happy that she could hear Zane's sweat voice again. 

”But you defeated them all right!” said Tara and she could hear Zane laugh again.

”Of course!” He said ”A couple of more duels and I am maybe gonna have a big duel in the Kaiba dorm. But what about you? How's is it going at the duel academy!”.

”It is borring!” said Tara and told Zane everything what had happen. It was nothing important. Suddenly Tara could hear a voice scream Zane's name in the PDA and Zane had to stop the call, because his manager was calling. Tara understood. Tara sighed. She choose to leave her room and find her brother. It was to borring to be in her room the whole day. She rushed towards the Slifer dorm. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was sitting in his dorm room doing nothing with Syrus. The last year had bin so full of things to do, that Jaden and Syrus had decided to relax. Jaden was lying on the bed, checking his cards (maybe also talking to them) and Syrus was sitting on a chair reading a book. Suddenly someone was knocking on the door. Syrus opened it and found a boy outside. (It was AP, even trought Jaden don't know his name yet).

”Hey are you Jaden Yuki” asked the boy. Jaden looked confused at him.

”Yeah That's me!” said Jaden ”Who are you!”. 

”I am AP and I have heard that you are the best duelist at the campus!” AP said. ”Wanna duel?!”. Jaden grinned happily and got up on his feets. 

”Always!” said Jaden and left with AP. They were dueling at the sea cliff. 

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was, accompanied by Chazz and Alexis, on her way towards the Slifer dorm. They had all just arrived, when they saw Syrus and Dorothea standing on the hill. They could all hear Jaden's favorite quote ”Get your game on!” and Tara knew her brother was dueling again. They arrived at the hill, and Tara saw that her brother, was dueling the freshman AP. 

”Wow Jaden doesn't waist anytime does he!” Could Tara hear Alexis say. 

”Figures that he would challenge a freshman!” Chazz said and snort. 

”Actually he challenged Jaden!” said Syrus concerned ”And I have a feeling I have seen him before!”. Tara nodded. She had the same feeling.

”Maybe he graduated from the same prep school like you Chazz!” said Dorothea. 

”Maybe that's it!” said Syrus ”He looks rich enough, and has a bit of sturborn attitude”. Chazz looked angry at Syrus. 

”He is nothing like me!” scream Chazz. However AP just summoned ”Ojama Yellow” in def mode on the field. Chazz did a anime fall down. 

”Well when I talked to AP at the beach, he was really nice and polite!” said Tara and smiled ”I don't think he is from Chazz's old school! He is to nice!”.

”Why you!” almost scream Chazz at Tara, but pulled it together ”I would never make such a stupid move like that!”. Suddenly ”Ojama yellow” appeared. 

”You would save me for last right boss!” Ojama said. Tara grinned a little. Chazz snerred a little more, and his spirit disappeared. They began talking about AP's next move, and what his cards were like. Dorothea was telling them that he just had assembled this deck today at the card shop, and he only used leftover booster packs. 

”Wait! So you are telling me, the reason he was at the card shop, was to built his deck!” said Tara confused ”No one duel's with leftover cards!”. Alexis smiled.

”Appearently he does!” said Alexis. The duel continued. Jaden summoned ”Sparkman” to the field and attacked AP's monster. Tara facepalmed when Jaden began tutoring AP. Like he was much better, Tara thought. However Chazz did another anime fall down, when Jaden asked AP if he had dueling lessons from Chazz. 

Tara grinned again. Chazz was sending her angry eyes. It was AP's turn. Suddenly his cell phone was ringing in the middle of the duel. AP answered the call. The others looked at each other. That was pretty rude. Tara was thinking. Did they even have connection out here!

AP's p.o.v.

AP took his cell phone, in the middle of the duel. AP could see that this annoyed Jaden, but he really didn't care. This call was much more important than some school boy and a duel. It was a call from his manager!

”Hello!” said AP in the cell phone ”No, I am not doing anything important! Yes I have met them both, I am dueling the boy right now!”. He could hear his manager at the other end. He was grinning with his creepy voice, but AP didn't put much thought into it. His manager always sounds creepy inside the cell phone. 

”Excellent!” said his manager ”And the girl what about her!”. 

”I met her, she is kind of nice! Smarter than some people!” He said and looked at Tara for a moment ”Any last minutes advise!”. He could hear her manager grin. 

”The reaper of souls is in reverse. You know what to do!”. The manager said. AP thanked him and closed his phone. He continued the duel. He used the spell ”Reload”  shuffled his deck, and drew 4 new cards. He then placed the field spell card ”sanctuary in the sky”. He summoned a monster and sacrificed it to summon a bigger one with 2800 att (I really don't care what it is called. AP only used it ones). He used his monster's eff and destroyed Jaden's monster, and then he attacked him directly. At first AP thought, that Jaden was done for, but instead he got on his feet and were smiling, like a happy little kid.  Jaden summoned ”Clay guardian” in def mode. However because of his eff, AP got slammed by 600 points of damage. It annoyed AP a little, and it didn't help, that Jaden was giving me really stupid advise, like listening to his deck, and couldn't solve simple math. AP wished that he could get over with this duel, but his manager had told him that he has to lose. AP drew. 

”Ah did you get a bad card!” asked Jaden confused. AP smiled. 

”Maybe, maybe not!” He said ”Maybe I only let you think that. Didn't you even think about why I wanted to challenge you in the first place! That of all these students here,  I chose to challenge you!”. Jaden and his crew looked confused at AP.

”Well I can reveal that they told me you are the best, so I am here to test you!” AP said. Jaden sighed.

”Listen AP, we are at duel academy. We are having a test every day!”. Jaden said.

”Yeah of course I know!” AP said ”But this is about so much more! It's about destiny”. Jaden looked really confused now and so did his friends. AP used his face down trap card, and got a light monster back from the grave. He then used his monsters eff and destroyed Jaden's ”Clay guardian”. He was about to attack Jaden directly, but luckily Jaden had the spell to summon ”Winged Kuriboh” to the field. Jaden asked AP about the thing with destiny, and he expained that everything is decided by destiny. Losers is born to be losers, and legends are born to be legends. Jaden began to refer himself as legend now. AP sighed inside. He saw that Tara was facepalming again. She was really smarter that her brother, he thought. Jaden summoned ”Bubbleman” and drew two new cards because of its eff. He then fusion summoned ”Tempest” and destroyed AP's monster. Jaden then used ”De-fusion” and gave AP a triple direct attack. He won the duel. 

”How are you doing freshman!” said Jaden worried and rushed towards AP ”I hope that my triple attack didn't hurt you to much!”. AP was just smiling. 

”Ah that wasn't so bad!” said AP and got up on his feet. Jaden was just smiling at him, and telling him some stuff, but AP didn't listen. He began walking off. 

”I don't get It”. He thought ”Jaden is a okay duelist, but I don't see why Sartorius is so obsessed with him! But oh well, Sartorius knows best and Jaden's sister is kind of cute!”. AP looked at Jaden's friends and began leaving.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara had watched the whole duel with AP and Jaden, and she felt kind of embarrased. He was such a idiot sometimes. However Tara had figured out who AP was. She had bin so sure that she had seen him before, and his name sounded so familar. She had looked inside her Pro magazine and found Aster Phoenix. AP was Aster Phoenix! However Tara wouldn't desturb her brother's duel, so after the duel, she secretly followed Aster. He was walking towards the woods. Tara followed. However a little bit later, she lost him in there. Tara sighed. She had a million questions for him. Suddenly she felt arms around her mouth and neck, and was pulled towards something. She looked behind her and saw Aster. He had made the sign that she should be quiet. Tara nodded and Aster let her go. 

”Why are you following me!” Aster asked. Tara let out a sigh. 

”I know who you are! Your Aster Phoenix!” She said and saw Aster sigh a little. ”Why were you challenging my brother!”. 

”So you figured it out eh!” He said ”Your smarter than your brother! But if you really wanna know, my manager is looking for new talented students, and he wanted me to test them!”. Tara looked surprised. 

”And you think that my brother has was it takes, to go pro that is!” Tara asked in a happy voice, but also a little confused. 

”Who knows!” says Aster and shrugged. ”But if you will have to excuse me!”. Aster was about to leave, however Tara was not finished with him.

”Hold it!” She almost scream ”I am not finished with you yet! Why did you talk to me at the beach! Was that also a test?!”. Aster stopped up. 

”You are quite stubborn aren't you? And at the beach, I was really lost!” Aster said and shrugged ”But yeah my manager had asked me to talk to you too! I was just  lucky! If you would excuse me! I have to catch a plane!”. And before Tara could ask more questions, Aster disappeared.
