Tara's p.o.v.

”Are you finished soon Alexis!” asked Tara for the third time and sighed.

”Almost my Queen!” said Alexis and smiled. Tara was sitting on a chair and had closed her eyes. She had told Alexis that she wanted to be surprised. They were fixing Tara's hair for the upcoming assemble today at the boys dorm. Tara had actually moved in there, since Sartorius wanted her close by his side. Tara had chosen 4 girls including Alexis, to move in with her, and they were having rooms close to their Queen. Tara sighed. She was really nervous! Sartorius had chosen her to speak at the assemble today. Tara had felt honored, but also scared. Tara knew that the SOL members would believe everything she said, but Tara also knew Master Sartorius would be there, and she really wanted to please him. Especially since her stupid brother Jaden had turned Master Sartorius's invitation down. She couldn't believe him! He was an idiot. Funny enough the Master wasn't even angry! He was just smiling and told her that fate would catch up with him eventually.

”I am finished my Queen!” said Alexis suddenly. Tara opened her eyes and saw..

”Wauh this is good!” Tara said and was looking in the mirror. 

”I took your hair and placed it in a ponytail! And smoothed your hair a bit! Hope you like it my Queen!” Alexis said and looked down at the floor ”If you don't, then I am sure I can make some other styles!”. Tara smiled.

”You did a really good job Alexis!” she said and turned around while looking in the mirror. Suddenly someone knocked on the door.

”My Queen, may I enter!” could Tara hear Chazz say. Tara nodded and Alexis rushed over and opened the door. Chazz walked in and kneeled down without looking at Tara.

”My Queen! I am here to serve you!” Chazz said. Tara sighed and made Chazz rise up again. He got a little stunned, when he saw Tara's new hair style.

”You are pretty my Queen!” He said. Tara grinned.

”So what do you want Chazz!” she said a little cold. Chazz bowed.

”Master Sartorius asks if you are ready soon! And he has a little gift for you!” Chazz said and gave her a white cape with hoody. Tara looked at it. She noticed that there was written Queen on the back. Tara took it on.

”Master Sartorius promised you that you would never have to hide!” Chazz said ”The cape makes sure the school knows!”. Tara grinned a little.

”It is beautiful!” Tara said ”However I think we have to leave for the assemble. We can't let the Master wait right!”. Chazz and Alexis shook their heads.

”We will announce your arrival!” Chazz said and rushed out of the room. Alexis was right behind him. Tara smirked. She began walking slowly towards the hallway where they had their assemble.

”All hail the Queen of light!” screamed the members and was cheering her on like hell. Tara smiled and waved at them. The crowd got wild again. Tara was standing on the stairs in the middle of the hallways. She was actually standing on the platform at the stairs, who divided the stairs, and dorm into the east sector and west sector. Alexis and Chazz was standing a little downstairs and was looking at her. Master Sartorius was standing beside her and was also looking at her. Tara felt a little nervous again and gulped a little.

”Go on Tara!” Sartorius said and smirked ”It is your audience. They are cheering for you!”. Tara looked surprised at Sartorius.

”But Master, We are all serving you! I don't deserve this!” Tara said confused.

”I am only a humble prophet, who is showing you all the ways of fate and destiny!” Sartorius said and grinned a little ”You are the Queen of light Tara. Now speak to them!”. Tara sighed and took some step forward. Everyone in the crowd went silent! They were looking at her.

”Hi! And thanks for coming!” Tara began to say ”I am the Queen of light and represent you today! The day has arrived fellow SOL members! The day were the light finally will be set free! We will serve the light and show it to those who don't appreciate it's beautiful glowing power! Hail the light! Hail Master Sartorius!”. The crowd began cheering like crazy again.

”Hail the light, our master Sartorius and the Queen of light!” they scream in unison. Tara smiled. However suddenly Sartorius was standing beside her. He was smiling at her and touched her shoulder.

”For your first turn, Not bad!” Sartorius said and smirked ”But I will take over from here!”. Tara nodded and took a step backwards.

”My dear members, we are assembled here today under the eye of destiny!” Sartorius said. Everyone was quiet now. He continued ”Each one of us is a mere pupil, waiting for the hands of fate to make our future! And that time is now!”. The members were cheering again. They were saying the same chant over and over again.

”Hail the light, Hail master Sartorius and the Queen of light!” they said and was waving around with their hands in the air. Tara did the same thing. She felt the strength from the cohesion of the society. She loved it!

Jaden's p.o.v.

”What is he making my sister do!” screamed Jaden angry and clenched his fists ”They are cheering for her and Sartorius, non stop today!”. Jaden and his friends, Hassleberry, Syrus and Bastion was standing on the other side of the lake. However Jaden and co. could hear the SOL members cheer from here.

”Maybe they are assemble their troops!” said Hassleberry and shrugged.

”I wish I could go in there, grab my sister and take her out of their!” Jaden said angry. Syrus and Hassleberry both sighed.

”Yeah and then the rest of the members would properly catch you, and make you their prisoner, until you are one of them!” Bastion said. Jaden and co all sighed.

”Believe me that won't happen again!” Jaden said. Syrus looked at them.

”Do you really think they all are brainwashed!” Syrus said confused.

”It is pretty clear!” Hassleberry said ”Why would they else cheer like that! My beautiful Tara would never chose to stay in there at her free will!”. He covered his eyes with his hand and began to cry. The others just ignored him.

”We got to stop them!” Bastion said ”Before everyone is like that!”.

”Yeah, But how!” Jaden asked and the other let out a big sigh. No one of them knew.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was walking around at the hallway together with the other SOL members and Master Sartorius. Tara found out that, that cape Sartorius had given her, also was really warm and protected her from the cold. She was in totally love with her new gift. They arrived at their destination. Chancellor Crowler's office. Tara could hear Bonaparte and Crowler scream at each other inside the room.

”You seem to have forgotten something!” could Tara hear Crowler scream ”But I am in charge here! And I choose italy as our field trip!”.

”Well I prefer France!” screamed Bonaparte back at Crowler ”In the beautiful city Paris!”. Tara grinned a little. Sartorius smiled and tousled her hair.

”Tara stay with me!” He said ”Chazz proceed with the plan!”. Tara and Chazz both bowed and said in union ”Yes Master!”. Chazz and the rest of society walked inside the office. Tara could hear Chazz talk to Crowler and Bonaparte now. Sartorius smirked and walked in together with Tara. Tara could see that the members were making a partway for them. Tara blushed and hit her head under the hoody.

”Sorry to disturb you gentlemen!” Sartorius said ”But I had a vision about this field trip!”. Bonaparte and Crowler was looking skeptical at Sartorius. However all the members were staring at them. Serves them right for not believing Master Sartorius, Tara thought. Sartorius was about to say something more, when the door opened up again, Jaden and his crew walked in.

”Hold it guys, don't we have a vote!” Jaden said. Tara looked angry at him and removed the hoody.

”Jaden your idiot!” Tara screamed at him ”Stop interfering in Master Sartorius's plans all the time!”. Jaden and co. looked at her.

”I love what you have done with your hair sis!” Jaden said and gave her a sad smile. Hassleberry was biting in his t-shirt now.

”She is so beautiful!” Hassleberry said half mumbling ”She is the most beautiful reptile dino ever!”. Tara facepalmed. He was even more worse than Aster. Suddenly Jaden was standing beside her. Tara hadn't even noticed that he was this close. He grabbed her hands and was looking her into the eyes.

”Tara!” Jaden said and also hugged her ones. He grabbed her hands again ”I read your note! I read your diary! I know the truth now! Please wake up!”. Tara was totally stunned. What was he talking about?! Tara felt her head being dizzy and she felt weird. She didn't know what was happening..!

”Get away from me your freak!” screamed Tara and pushed Jaden away from her.

”Yeah get away from our Queen!” Chazz screamed back at Jaden.

”Yeah at least until you are smart enough to join us!” added Alexis. Tara looked at Jaden again. He had walked back to his friends again. Tara noticed that Syrus was trying to make Jaden relax or something. She really didn't care! She looked at Master Sartorius. He had closed his eyes under the whole scene. Jaden looked at him now.

”Hey Sartorius! What about settling this trip with a duel!” Jaden asked. Tara looked at her master. He had turned around and was now looking at Jaden.

”A duel you say! Interesting!” Sartorius said and smirked ”If you win! You can choose the destination of the trip! However if you lose you have to promise me this! You will join the Society of light, and stand by my side together with your sister!”. Jaden's friends began all talking at once. They didn't like these odds. Apparently they didn't want to lose Jaden! Tara snort a little. Like they couldn't defy destiny!

”Hey stop it you guys! We can't let this brainwashing get to us!” Jaden said ”We have to fight back!”. Sartorius laughed a little.

”You are right Jaden!” He said ”I am not even participate in this duel! I am a new student after all, and I really don't want to stand out!”. Tara looked confused at him.

”Then get a new haircut!” yelled Hassleberry back. Tara clenched his fists.

”Touché!” said Sartorius and grinned ”But are you accepting my challenge or not!”.

”I accept!” Jaden said and looked at Tara ”If I really should lose, which is not gonna happen, I will at least be together with Tara!”. Tara looked at the boy. What was wrong with him? Why does he want to save me? Sartorius smirked, and they all left the room. Tara took a last look at Jaden, before they all disappeared in the hallways.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Time skip.. at the duel field.

Jaden was standing on the duel field and was waiting for his opponent to show. He was kind of getting bored. However the tribune was beginning to get filled. Jaden noticed the white members take some seats, however Jaden couldn't see Tara among them. Jaden sighed. Sartorius kept Tara close by his side. It was hard getting close to her without the white members interfering. Jaden sighed again. He looked at his hands now. Something happened when he touched Tara's hands. He felt weird and a little wind was surrounding them. Then Tara had pushed him aside. Jaden didn't know what happened! However a little bit after Jaden slammed his face. He needed to get his game on.

”Are you ready to duel!” said a voice suddenly. Jaden turned towards the sound, and saw Alexis standing near the edge of the duel field.

”Alexis are you my opponent!” Jaden asked confused. Alexis snort.

”Yeah in your dreams dork!” She said cold ”You are gonna duel against her!”. Alexis pointed at the exit to the field. A girl dressed in a big blue dress was walking in. Jaden noticed that she was wearing a tiara too. Every boy in i the arena was sighing now.

”She is beautiful!” could Jaden hear Syrus said and Bastion agreed.

”She is pretty!” Hassleberry said ”But not as pretty as my beautiful flower Tara!”. Jaden looked at the girl. She was nothing special, but Jaden assumed she was a princess, since she was wearing a tiara. The girl walked over to the duel field.

”Princess Rose at your service!” She said and curtsied ”So your our Queen's brother eh! I thought you were taller! And you don't even look handsome! I am not impressed!”. Jaden shrugged a little. He really didn't care.

”But I love what you done with your hair though!” Rose said and smiled.

”Um thanks!” Jaden said ”I like yours too. Now get our game on!”. They both activated their duel disks, and the duel began.

Rose: 4000Lp.

Jaden: 4000Lp.

Rose started off by summoning ”T.a.d.p.o.l.e” in def mode. Jaden was a little surprised. It had 0 def points. Jaden could hear Hassleberry say, that Rose's monster was ugly. Rose went a little angry. However it was Jaden's turn and he summoned ”Ns air humming bird” to the field. Jaden used it's eff. He got 500 lp's for every card in Rose's hand, and she had 5. Jaden got 2500 lp's. Then he attcacked with his monster and destroyed Rose's. Her monster's eff activated. She got a new ”Tadpole” to the hand. Rose used the spell ”Frog resurrection”, discarded her tadpole in her hand to resurrect the other tadpole from before. Then she sacrificed it to summoned ”Des frog” to the field. However Rose wasn't done yet. If she had des frog on the field, she got 2 more ”Des frog's” to the field, because she had two tadpole's in the grave. Rose was smiling at her three frogs. She told them that they weren't frog's but prinses in disguise. They were duel monster spirits.

”So Jaden! I was told you could see duel spirits!” said Rose ”Can you see mine!”. Jaden looked really closely, but he could only see three frogs. Rose got angry.

”Fine! Be that way!” She said ”I know they are real! Isn't that right Jeffrey, Roosevelt, and percival”. She looked at the three frog's and they croaked. Appearently Rose believed the frog's were prinses and they were waiting for a kiss. Jaden was a little surprised! However he continued dueling.

Tara's p.o.v.

”Master may I ask you something!” Tara said. They were sitting at the glass table in Sartorius's room. Sartorius was of course looking at his tarot cards. However he looked at her, when she talked to him.

”You wanna know why I chose Rose for this duel right!” Sartorius said and smiled.

Tara nodded. She still got surprised, when his master knew her question before she actually told him.

”Well you see Tara!” Sartorius said ”I needed to test Jaden! His power to see duel monster spirits to be exact!”. Tara looked confused at him.

”Why didn't you chose me then Master?!” She said confused ”I see duel spirits too! I could beat the boy for you! Or Chazz, he can see them too!”. Sartorius smirked.

”I know you could Tara!” He said and grinned ”But you are to precious to me! I need you by my side! As for Chazz! He can't beat Jaden!”. Tara sighed.

”As you wish Master!” She said. Sartorius grinned.

”Don't worry Tara!” He said ”You will face Jaden one day and make him see the light! But lets see how he plans on taking Rose down for now!”. Tara bowed.

”Yes Master!” She said and mumbled ”Rose will lose!”.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Back at the dueling field. Jaden was trying to see Rose's prinses. However they were really only frogs. Jaden began getting a little bit nervous. Maybe he was about to lose his powers to see spirits.

”Frog's! Prinses!” could Jaden hear Syrus scream ”Who in the right mind would fall in love with a reptile!”. Jaden smiled. His sister actually, Jaden thought, she was still in love with cyber tech alligator. However Rose got furious again.

”They are not reptiles! They are amphibians!” She scream. Jaden just smiled. Rose continued the duel. She used the spell ”Des croaking”. She could now destroy every monster on Jaden's field. He was totally defenseless. He got attacked directly three times. Jaden only had 800 lp's left. Then Rose fused her three frogs together to get ”D.3.S. Frog” to the field. It was a really ugly toad. But apparently Rose had a big crush on him. Jaden sweatdropped a little. It was his turn. He summoned ”Bubbleman” to the field and got two more cards. Then he fused bubbleman and clayman and got ”Mudballman” in def mode on the field. He tossed down two facedown's and it was Rose's turn again. She played the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. Then she played her spell ”Foolish burial”. She could sent a monster to the grave. She chose ”treeborn frog”. Then she played the spell ”Flute of hamelin”. She could pick a frog card, like her treeborn frog, then the rest of the cards of that card was sent to the grave. Rose discarded two cards. Her toad's eff activated. It gained 500 points for every frog card she discarded. Her toad now had 4000 att. it ate mudballman and destroyed him, however Jaden revealed ”Hero signal” and special summoned ”Avian” to the field. However Rose was ready. She played the quick spell card ”De-fusion” and got her three frogs back. She attacked Jaden again. However Jaden revealed his facedown card ”Hero ring”. It protected Avian for all attacked this turn. Her frogs fell to the ground. Rose looked angry at Jaden. She sacrificed her three frogs and summoned ”Amphibian angel” to the field. A toad with wings! It had an ability. It could destroy every trap who is out, and Rose could also bring all her frogs back from the grave. Her three ”Des frogs” and her ”D.3.S. Frog”. And her ”Amphibian angel” couldn't get attacked.

”Hey stop this duel!” screamed Chazz suddenly. He was standing at the edge of the field beside Alexis and was staring at Rose and Jaden.

”Um you can't just bud in!” Jaden said confused. Chazz snort and looked at Rose.

”You lied to Master Sartorius!” Chazz said angry ”You can't see duel spirits! So let me in there and I will make Jaden see the light!”. Rose looked confused at him.

”But they are right here!” She said. Chazz just snort. He knew she was lying. Rose began telling them a story about, when she was a kid, she was all alone, but then she read the book ”The frog prince” and there her princes appeared. She was not making this op. Chazz snort and said she was insane. However Jaden believed her. In the end Rose continued to duel. It was Jaden's turn. He played ”pot of greed” and got two more cards. Then he summoned ”Burstinatrix” and then played the spell ”O- oversoul”. He got clayman back from the grave and on to the field. Then he played the field spell card ”Skyscraper”. If all his heroes are weaker than the opponent they gain 1000 att. Then Jaden equipped the spell ”Power charger” to avian. If Avian defeats a monster in battle, he added the monsters att to his own. Lastly Jaden activated the spell ”Feather shot”. For every monster Jaden had out, Avian could attack. He had three monster's so Avian could attack 3 times. Jaden attacked her des frogs, and for every monster Avian got stronger. In the end Jaden won the duel. Rose was devastated. She bowed and left the arena. Winged Kuriboh showed up and pointed at Rose. Behind her was a little frog spirit, dressed as a prince. He bowed to Jaden and left with Rose. Jaden smiled. So she had a spirit after all. Suddenly Jaden got surrounded by his friends. Hassleberry and Syrus was mugging him.

”So you won!” Bastion said and smiled ”Where to? You can chose our field trip now!”. Jaden grinned and grabbed the microphone.

”Duel academy I have decided for..!” Jaden screamed and smiled. He knew his sister would be happy about this.

Sartorius's p.o.v.

Sartorius grinned. Tara was looking confused at him.

”What's wrong master!” She asked. Sartorius smirked a little.

”Your brother won over Rose and has chosen Domino city as the field trip!”. He said and grinned ”A little Ironic don't you think Tara! You are both raised in domino!”. Sartorius saw the surprised look on Tara's face. He grinned again. He got up from the chair and began walking away from the room.

”Come Tara, we have a lot of things to do!” He said. The girl nodded and began following him. Sartorius smiled inside. He had predicted that Jaden would chose domino. Now fate only had to catch up with him!
