Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sitting at the tribune and was studying, while watching Jaden duel Bastion. Tara was sure Jaden would win. He had made really good progress since last year, when these two duelist dueled. And she was right when Jaden won over Bastion with ”Shiny flame wingman”. It took down Bastion's water dragon quite easy. Jaden and Bastion shook hands after the duel. Bastion congratulated Jaden because of his victory. Jaden smiled, but after Bastion left the field, Jaden sighed. Tara smiled and closed her book. She already knew Jaden would do that, before he did. She waved at him. Jaden smiled and walked over to her and sat down beside her. 

”So Jaden whats your problem!” Tara asked. Jaden sighed. 

”It is scary you knew that by just looking at me!” said Jaden and continued ”I don't have had a real challenge since.. I don't know!”. Tara grinned. 

”Since Zane actually!” said Tara ”And now you wished there were someone who could beat you, or at least give you a worthy challenge right!”. Jaden nodded. Tara was about to say something, when suddenly Syrus was rushing inside the arena. 

”Hey guys guess what!” He scream ”They announced it on the news! Guess who is dueling tomorrow!”. Tara grinned. 

”Zane!” She said. Syrus looked shocked. ”I know because he called me!”.

”Okay! But you would never guess who he is dueling against!” said Syrus a little more eager. Jaden looked at him. 

”Aster Phoenix!” said Jaden. Syrus screamed out loud. 

”Why can you both guess what I'm about to say!” He screamed. Jaden and Tara looked at each other and grinned. 

”We know you!” They said in unison. Syrus sighed. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden and co. was sitting in Chazz's living room, and was looking at the tv screen. They were watching the news, who was announcing about the big match against Zane and Aster Phoenix. Jaden and co. were all discussing the match. 

”So Zane is dueling Aster!” said Alexis a little shocked. Chazz snort a little. 

”Oh please!” said Chazz ”Zane is going to win! Aster couldn't even beat Jaden!”. Tara and Jaden looked at Chazz. Jaden sighed a little. He really want a rematch. 

”I am not so sure!” said Tara suddenly ”Because it wasn't his real deck!”. 

”Ha! Don't tell me you think your little boyfriend is going to lose!” replied Chazz and snort again. Jaden looked at his sister. She looked angry at Chazz, but also a little bit worried. Jaden took his sisters hand. 

”What do you think Jaden!” asked Syrus him. Jaden grinned.

”I think Zane would win!” He said. His sisters eyes lit a little up. 

”May I remind you all that Aster hasn't showed his true deck yet!” Bastion said ”Maybe this is going to be the most challenging duel in Zane's career!”. Jaden and the others nodded. This was going to be a awesome duel.

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane was standing outside of a big company. He had just signed a new contract with a new dueling supporter team. He was a big star now. 

”I hope you are ready for tomorrow!” The director said ”As one of our newest spokesmen, we want a victory from you!”. Zane nodded and shook the mans hand. 

”I will make sure of that!” Zane said ”I never lose!”. The director grinned. 

”That's good to hear!” He pointed at the car. ”Care for a ride!”. Zane smiled. 

”Thank you, but I like to walk, especially before a big match!” said Zane. The director smiled again and got in the car. He looked at Zane. 

”Be careful! There is a demon on the lose!” He said and showed Zane a picture in the papers. Zane looked and saw some weird shadow who looked like a monster. 

”Demon!” said Zane and gave the paper back ”I don't believe in rumors!”. Zane bowed and began walking down the streets. He saw posters of his match everywhere. He smiled inside. However the only thing he could think of now was calling his girlfriend, when he came home. He was thinking that it had been long since he had heard Tara's beautiful voice, when suddenly he heard a loud scream in one of the alleys. He followed the sound and could see a man lying on the floor. Zane rushed towards him. In the shadows he saw someone tossing cards on the man and he heard the quote ”You can't hide from destiny”. Zane finally approached the man, and saw on a rooftop some weird kind of creature. It looked like a demon!

Aster's p.o.v.

Aster was back at his mansion and was talking to his manager Sartorius. He was sitting at his usual place, on a chair beside a table, in a white little room, covered in a lot of light. Aster approached him. 

”Welcome back!” Sartorius said ”So your night was fruitful I presume!”. Aster nodded. He had sneaked in on Sartorius from behind, but Sartorius had noticed him. He hadn't even looked at him. Aster was impressed with his managers ability to predict the future. 

”You can say that!” replied Aster and walked towards Sartorius ”So whats up!”. 

”I wish you could stop your stupid games and use the time to prepare your duels instead! You are having one of your greatest challenge yet!” Sartorius said. He was looking at his tarot cards. Aster just snort. 

”Oh please! You know that I will win right!” He asked. Sartorius grinned. 

”Yes! My cards do predict victory!” said Sartorius ”But Zane Truesdale is just one step towards your true destiny!”. Aster just smiled. 

”Any chance you are gonna tell what my true destiny is!” asked Aster curious.

”No! Not yet! But you will find out soon enough! However until then, you will have to put your full faith in me!”. Aster just nodded. Then he remembered something. 

”Then what about the Yuki twins! Jaden in particularly! I throwed in the towel in that duel for you! Do you know how embarrassing that was! I have my career! A then you want me to duel that Jaden kid and lose! His sister was even watching!”. 

”It was the only thing you could do to test him! He has a lot of abilities, more than you know! And as for his sister! Do you have a crush on her?!”. Aster looked a little shocked. However it was Sartorius he was talking too! 

”No way! I am a pro! I don't have time for love!” Aster replied ”And why Jaden! He is not even a pro!”. However Aster's heart began beating faster for some stupid reason. He tried to forget that feeling! Sartorius grinned a little. 

”Talent and great powers can be found in mysterious places!” Sartorius said and grinned ”And it is the same with love! However after your match with Zane, you will go back to duel academy and have a new match with Jaden!”. Aster sighed. 

”And this time I can win right!” He said. Sartorius smiled. 

”Of course! But first things first! Your match with Zane awaits you!” Sartorius said. 

”Yeah I better get going!” Aster said ”After all this night is where I reveal my new true deck!”. Aster began leaving. However one thought was stuck in his head! Was Jaden's sister Tara gonna watch this match?!

Tara P.o.v.

Tara and co. was sitting in one of the classroom and was looking at a big screen. Chancellor Crowler had done something so that the whole school had connection to the mainland. Even though it was crowded in here, Tara wanted to be in here. She wanted to see her boyfriend on the big screen. The commentator was talking about the match who was about to begin and Aster's mysterious deck. They switched the camera to inside the Kaiba dorm, and introduced first Zane Truesdale.

”On the right side we are having the newest and famous pro duelist, Zane Truesdale!”. Some blue smoke was covering the screen and when it disappeared, Zane was standing there. He had his calm smile on and looked determined. 

”Oh look there is Zane!” screamed Tara and hugged someone. She didn't care who. 

”What does that guy have that I don't!” said Chazz angry ”I could easy go pro!”. 

”Tara what in the world do you see in him!” mumbled Hassleberry in a low voice. However Tara heard it and grinned.

”UM... Tara.. let go of me.. I can't breathe!” said a low voice and Tara looked and saw she was squeezing Syrus to tight. Jaden grinned. 

”I think you have some competition!” said Jaden and pointed at the screen. A lot of fangirls were screaming Zane's name. Tara just snort.

”Like Zane cares about these girls!” Tara said. The other grinned a little. The commentator was introducing Aster now. 

”And on the left we have the famous young pro duelist, who never had lost ones, Aster phoenix!”. Some smoke covered the left side of the field, and Aster appeared on the screen now. He also had a lot of fangirls. The judges and commentators was about to start the match, when suddenly Aster grabbed the judges microphone. Tara and co, + all people at the stadium was looking at him a little confused. 

”Good evening Domino city and the world!” Aster said and the crowd got wild. ”I will like to dedicate this duel to a special girl this evening!”. The crowd began mumbling. The fangirls looked a little shocked. Tara and co. looked confused at each other. 

”Does he have a girlfriend!” Jaden asked confused. The others shrugged. 

”I would like to dedicate this duel to Tara Yuki at duel academy!”. Tara looked shocked. Zane looked also shocked, and so did the rest of the duel academy. In the tv Zane began explaining to Aster that she had a boyfriend, and that would be him. Aster didn't care. He said that Tara only would go out with duelists who could win. They began fighting on worldwide tv screen. Tara was still in shock. 

”Wait! You have two pro duelist fighting over you!” screamed Chazz angry ”That's so not fair! I want a horde of girls around me too!”. Alexis hit Chazz on the head. 

”But.. But!” said Tara and looked at her brother ”I never said I liked Aster! Where in the world did he get that idea from!”. Jaden and the other shrugged. However Aster and Zane suddenly agreed on something. The one who wins, would have the right to go on a date with her! Tara looked in horror. 

”Great!” screamed Tara ”Now I am seeing the event with Hassleberry all over again!”. Tara sighed. However the duel began.

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane was stunned that Aster had fallen for his girlfriend. Second he didn't respect, that she had a boyfriend and that was him! However if Zane won, Aster would have to back off. Zane looked at Aster! His mystery deck was about to lose!

Aster: 4000Lp.

Zane: 4000Lp.

”Beauty before age!” screamed Aster and drew ”I don't understand what your little girlfriend sees in you old timer! However when I win all that is going to change!”. Zane sneered a little. However Aster summoned the monster ”Ele hero Avian” to the field. He placed two facedowns and ended his turn. 

”What!” screamed Zane ”You have a deck of heroes!”. Aster smirked.

”That's right! Like your little friend Jaden!” Aster said. Zane smiled now. He had faced Jaden's deck of heroes a lot of times. Zane summoned his monster ”Cyber dragon” to the field and attacked recklessly Aster's monster. However Aster activated a trap ”Draining shield” and could now stop Zane's attack and gain Lp equal to the monster who attacked. However Zane also had quick spell card ready. He used the spell ”Trap booster”. Now Zane could use a trap from his hand! Zane chose ”Trap Jammer” and he could now cancel Aster's trap. However Aster revealed his other Facedown. It was also ”Trap jammer” and in the end, Zane's attack was blocked and Aster gained 2100 lp's. It was Aster's turn. He used the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. He then fusion summoned ”Ele hero phoenix enforcer”. Zane looked a little surprised. However this monster didn't make any difference. Aster attacked Zane's monster and even through they had the same att, Phoenix enforcer eff kicks in. It can't be destroyed in battle! Aster smirked and placed down a facedown. Zane sneered a little. That kid was annoying! Zane's turn. He drew and also activated the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. He then activated the spell ”Power bond” and fusion summoned ”Cyber twin dragon” to the field (2800 att). However because of ”Power bond” Zane's dragon att was doubled. He attacked Aster and even through Aster's monster couldn't get destroyed, He got a lot of damage. However Zane was not finished yet! Because of his dragon's eff, he could now attack again, and win this duel. His dragon attacked and Zane smiled. He had won! However when the smoke cleared, Zane saw that Aster still was standing. He had 100 lp left. 

”But how!” screamed Zane. Aster smirked and pointed at his trap card ”Elemental recharge”. He gained 1000 more lp's and survived the attack. However Zane has to pay 2800 lp, because of ”Power bond”. It was Aster's turn again. He summoned ”Sparkman” to the field. He then equipped ”Spark blaster” to him. Aster then played the spell ”Guard Penalty”. For every monster who is switched to def mode, Aster could now draw a card. He used ”Spark blaster” to switch Zane's dragon to def mode and back to att mode, and then in def mode again. Aster could now drew two more cards. However the crowd was now laughing at Zane. 

”I really thought you were a real challenge Zane!” said Aster to him and smiled ”But oh well. At least I am kicking your sorry butt in front of your little girlfriend! Maybe she will realise what a big joke you are!”. Zane sneered. He was really pissed now. 

”Shut it!” He scream ”Tara would never fall for an idiot like you!”. 

”Oh you don't say!” said Aster and smirked ”But this duel is not over! Are you ready!”. Aster fusion summoned his two monsters on the field and summoned ”Shining phoenix enforcer”. He attacked Zane's dragon and destroyed it. It was stronger than Zane's because of it's eff. All heroes in the grave gave 300 more att to his monster. Aster placed a card facedown and ended his turn. It was now Zane's turn. He needed something big, to win this duel. He drew and looked at the card in his hand. He made a combo with ”Polymerization” and the spell ”Cybernetic Fusion Support”. By paying half of his life points and take all fusion monsters out from play to fusion summon them all into ”Cyber end dragon”.

”Nice knowing you Aster!” screamed Zane ”But Tara stays with me!”. He attacked with his monster, thinking that he had won. However Aster played his trap. He could now choose 5 cards from his deck and sent it to the grave. He chose 4 monsters and one trap. Aster's monster gained more att than Zane's dragon. Zane's monster got destroyed and Zane lost. He fell down on one knee. He couldn't believe he lost.

”You can't hide from destiny!” said Aster suddenly ”This was meant to be that you should lose here! Zane! Now your girlfriend has a date with me!”. Zane looked confused. There were something he just remembered!

”Wait are you that demon!” He scream back at Aster. Aster just smirked! ”As for Tara even through you won! She has to chose if she want a date with you or not!”.

”I know!” said Aster and smirked ”But even if she don't wont, I have at least showed her how a true pro duelist duels, and kicked your butt!”. Aster left the field. Zane felt his heart ache and slammed his fist in the ground. I am sorry Tara! I am so sorry! He scream inside his head.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara had watch the duel from start to the end. She clenched her fist when she saw Aster toy with Zane, when he used the ”Spark blaster”. She couldn't believe that Aster had the same deck as Jaden and she could not forgive Aster for making a fool out of Zane! She also got angry when Aster called Zane a joke! Jaden had taken her hand to make her relax a little. She was beginning to feel sick. However she got really surprised when Zane totally lost it and was screaming at Aster. Normally Zane was always calm and collected. But not this time! However she was happy when Zane did a comeback in the end, however she didn't watch the ending. Tara's body was beginning to shake. Jaden sighed a little. He was about to help her out, when Chazz sneered and grabbed her wrist. 

”I will follow her out slacker!” He said to Jaden ”Just watch your stupid show!”. Tara looked confused at Chazz however he walked away with her and placed her on the stairs outside of the arena. 

”So stay here!” said Chazz and snort ”I will go get you something to eat and drink!”. Tara just nodded. She took a deep breath and was trying to relax. She could still hear the screams and cheering from the class room. Suddenly she could hear a really loud scream from the students, and Tara sighed. She knew that Zane had lost. 

”Here!” said Chazz suddenly and gave her a cheeseburger and some juice. Tara hadn't notice him at all. She nodded and took the food from Chazz. 

”Um thank you!” she said. Chazz just snort. 

”Don't mention it!” said Chazz ”If I am gonna see one more picture of Aster and Zane fighting over you! I think I am gonna hurl!”. Tara grinned. So thats the reason. Jaden walked out of the classroom. He was looking for Tara. She waved at him and Jaden walked over to them. He sighed. 

”Zane just lost!” He said and sighed ”So you have a date with Aster! Even though Aster only said that to humiliate Zane, I think!”. Tara clenched her fists. 

”I don't like Aster” she said ”He is an idiot! I love Zane even if he loses!”. Jaden grinned. However Suddenly Syrus was rushing out of the classroom and towards them. He looked really worried. 

”You guys! Aster is on the news and he is talking about you two!” Syrus said and pointed at Tara and Jaden. Jaden rushed back to the classroom. Tara was right behind him, however she waited at the exit. However she could see and hear Aster on the screen.
