Jaden's p.o.v.

"Dorothea more food please!" Jaden yelled "I have a lot of duels today!".

"Yeah me too!" Hassleberry added "Win duels so that I can win Tara's heart too!". Dorothea grins and gives them some more food. Jaden smiled and was about to dig in, when the door to the cafeteria opened and Chazz walks in.

"Same old dorm, same old food!" Chazz said and smirked. Hassleberry rushes over to Chazz. He want's some of his food. Like Chazz ever was gonna do that.

"Yihar! Chazz is back to his old self and the Slifer dorm is full again!" Jaden scream, and everyone was sharing this cheer! Beside Syrus that is! Jaden looks at his pal.

"Um something wrong Syrus! You haven't eaten yet!" Jaden said worried. Syrus sighed and suddenly looked around in the cafeteria. Then he looked at Jaden.

"Um your sister is not in here, or coming down here, is she!" Syrus asked. Jaden began thinking. Last time he saw Tara she was in her room at slifer dorm.

"Um I don't think so! Aster was at her room this morning again!" Jaden said.

"HE IS WHAT!" Hassleberry scream "I am gonna kill this oversized dino punk! He is not gonna get Tara!". Hassleberry began walking, However Jaden grabs him at his collar and sighed. Hassleberry has to forget about her.

"Um then I have to tell you something!" Syrus said concerned "I heard a rumor from someone, that Zane just have arrived on this island!". Jaden smiled happily.

"Yeah Zane is here!" He said "I can duel him again!". The other sighed.

"That's not the problem!" Syrus said a little angry "You haven't told Tara about Zane have you Jaden!". Jaden looked a little pale suddenly.

"Oh yeah right!" Jaden said and sighed. He placed himself at a chair "I couldn't bring it up! Tara doesn't know that he has changed at all!". Chazz snort. The others sighed.

"So what are you gonna do Jay!" Syrus asked "Are you gonna tell her about my brother or what?!". Jaden looked at Syrus and sighed.

"I.. She has just returned from SOL! I couldn't bring it up, she is hurting to much already! I was thinking that we can prevent them from meeting or something!". The others, even Chazz was listening to this conversation.

"I have a plan!" Jaden said and began whispering.

Tara's p.o.v.

In the mean time.

"Aster for the... I don't know how many times now..NO! I don't want to go on a date with you!" Tara screamed at Aster and placed herself at her bed.

"But Tara please give me a chance at least" Aster said and approached her. SLAM got hit by a pillow in the face. Tara looked angry at him.

"NO is a NO Aster!" She said "Please just leave!". Aster sighed. But he didn't leave.

"Tara! I have changed! I am not that cruel cruel guy anymore! I regret that I have humiliated your boyfriend, treated you like dirt and also brainwashed you! I am sorry!". Aster bowed and looked at the floor. Tara just snort a little angry.

"That is not good enough!" She said "Do you know how painful it was! Waking up in your mansion and finds out you have bin kidnapped by your manager! Just because they want your brother!". Tara was sending Aster an evil glare.

"I know that I hurt you Tara!" Aster said and sighed "But please just give me a change to show you how sorry I am!". Tara just snort a little angry.

"Please just leave Aster!" She said "I need to be alone". Aster sighed and was about to leave, when suddenly the door to the room opened and Jaden and his crew walked in. Tara looked confused at her brother. Really! She thought, he is coming now! Just great. Jaden smiled and looked confused at Aster and Tara.

"Um am I interrupting something!" He asked confused. Tara shook his head.

"Nope! Aster was about to leave anyway, right Aster!" Tara said cold. Aster nodded.

"Um Aster please stay a minute!" Jaden said and walked over to Tara. "Sis, you can't stay angry at Aster forever! Then you are just repeating what happened between you and our father! That you never can forgive him! I think you shall go on that date with him!". Tara looked surprised at Jaden. So did the others in the room.

"WHAT!" Screamed Hassleberry suddenly and was about to kill Jaden. However Syrus and Chazz had both grabbed him. "She is not gonna go on a date with that oversized dino punk! That was not even in the pla..!". However Syrus and Chazz covered his mouth and smiled awkwardly. They dragged Hassleberry out of the room. Tara looked surprised at Jaden, then at Aster. He looked surprised as well.

"Jaden! I can't date him! I am together with Zane you know! That would be cheating!" Tara said confused. Jaden smiled a little awkwardly.

"I know! But then it is NOT a DATE!" He said and glared at Aster "It is only a friendly feast or something! Where you can show Tara that you really are sorry! Nothing more!". Tara looked from Aster to Jaden. Her brother was really protective! She hugged him. Jaden hugged her back. Then she looked at Jaden.

"Okay Aster you heard my brother! I will give you one change! But it is not a date, so no kissing or anything like that! We are just friends right!" Tara said determined. Aster smiled happily. He looked at Jaden, then at Tara.

"Jaden thank you! And Tara, I will try my best! It is okay for me to be friends!" He said and bowed "The only thing I don't want is you hating me!". Jaden smiled and walked beside Aster on the way out of the door. Tara could hear Jaden speak to him.

"Hope I don't regret this Aster!" Jaden said "You are a nice guy and all! I have already forgiven you! But mark my words, if you ever hurt Tara ever again, then I am not gonna forgive you any longer!". Then he walked out of the door. Tara looked at Aster and saw his worried face. Tara grin.

"So what is your plan!" She asked Aster "To make me forgive you!". Aster smiled.

"Um you can decide! I am at your disposal! Pick something and we will do it!" Aster said. Tara looked at him. He really meant that about apologizing, Tara thought and grinned. She got up from the bed!

"Okay! I have these blurring memories from SOL!" Tara said and grinned "I want to do some extreme sport! I know you are good at it Aster". Aster looked surprised at her.

"Don't tell me that you can remember the one time we jumped out of a plain!" Aster said shocked. Tara looked shocked as well.

"I.. We did what!" Tara said surprised "I hate plains!". Aster smiled.

"Extreme sport that is!" He said "What about surfing or Wind surfing then! As a start up!". Tara looked at him and snort a little.

"Okay! But you have to tell about that jump from a plain Phoenix!" She said and walked towards the beach.

Atticus's p.o.v.

Atticus arrived on his little speed boat, at the beach. Atticus smiled. As always he was meet by some beautiful ladies, who he had stolen their hearts. Atticus grinned when a stampede of girls approached him.

"Atticus! My sweet little Atticus!" some of them scream "Please have my medal!".

"Oh no, no, no, girls!" He said and winked "I can't take your medals! Hey come on I have already stolen your hearts!". However the girls marched towards him. Atticus grinned and tried to runaway. But in reality he was disguising himself as a man, sitting on the bench, reading paper. When the stampede of girls has passed him, Atticus got rid of his disguise and began walking towards the harbor.

"Hey atticus!" could he hear a girl say. Atticus svore inside. He had hoped he had gotten rid of his fan club! He turned around and saw Tara and was that Aster phoenix behind her? They were dressed in swimsuits. Atticus sighed relieved. Luckily not a fan! However then he realised something and swore inside again. She didn't properly know that Zane was back!

"Oh I thought you were a crazy fan of mine!" Atticus said and smiled. Tara grinned.

"Or maybe you just should get a girlfriend or stop being a playboy!" She said and smiled. Atticus did the same thing. He looked at Aster.

"Um I am not the only one I see!" He said and grinned "You do have a touch with pro duelists my dear Tara!". Tara blushed a little. Aster did the same thing.

"We are just friends!" Tara said quickly "He is trying to apologize for humiliated Zane and other stuff!". Atticus looked at Aster and then at Tara.

"If you say so! So are you going for a swim!" He questioned. Tara smiled.

"Um I wanted Aster to teach me Extreme sport. Um what about you Atticus?! Wanna join us! You are good at stuff like this!". Atticus grinned a little.

"You say that again!" Atticus said "But um I am actually on my way to duel in the tournament! You know the GX tournament!". Atticus noticed that she looked at the sand now. He hoped there was nothing wrong.

"Um well you do that Atticus!" Tara said and grabbed Aster's hand "We will be surfing now so see yer!". Then she rushed towards the waves. Atticus smiled, and began walking away. He had more important matter. He was here to challenge Zane to a duel, and to save him from the shadows! The shadows of the underworld deck. He had promised Sheppard that! Atticus left towards the harbor and vulcano.

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane was standing at the lighthouse and was waiting. He was actually waiting for Tara to show. He had hoped that still could remember their old meeting place. However since she hadn't shown, Zane figured that she couldn't or that she didn't know he was back. Suddenly he noticed someone staring at him and turned towards them. He saw Atticus staring at him from a cliff. They were looking at each other for a moment and then Zane began leaving. Atticus did the same thing. Zane smirked. He knew a challenge when he saw one, and he didn't care if it was against his best friend. They arrived at the sides of the vulcano. It was a little wasteland there of course. Zane looked at Atticus.

"So you have dragged me out here! What do you want?!" He said cold. Atticus smiled.

"How quickly we forget!" He said and smiled. He had changed his clothes and was dressed in clothes nightshroud ones wearer. "This is the place where Jaden dueled Nightshroud! I will rescue you, by entering the darkness, then we will both escape together I hope!". Zane looked at him. Atticus was holding his deck and it glowed a little dark. Zane smirked.

"Entering the darkness!" He questioned "Sounds like you still have a little part of Nightshroud in you!". Atticus smiled.

"Nightshroud would always be a part of me!" He said "But now I am in control".

"And what does that mean?" Zane said angry "That I am not in control! Well I am disagreeing with you! I am in control! But see for yourself!". They activated their duel disks and the duel began.

Tara's p.o.v.

"Okay no more!" Tara yelled. She had fallen of the board for the who know how many times. Tara sneered a little. Aster was sitting on his board with the legs in the water, and was grinning at her. Tara looked angry at him.

"I hope you didn't expect this to be easy!" Aster said and smiled "It takes time to learn these things! Hope you didn't expect to learn this in only a day!". Tara felt a little stupid and looked down in the water.

"Maybe!" she said "When did you start training?!". Aster looked at her.

"Um I think I was really young! It was around that time my father disappeared! I wanted to be strong, fast and swiftly so that I could catch the bad guy who took my father away! That was my motivation!" Aster said and clenched his fists.

"Aster! I hope you aren't still on revenge!" Tara said a little bit after "Revenge is never something pretty! It only feeds the hatred!". Aster smiled at her.

"Nope! I am not on revenge any longer! Of course I want to find the man who took my father, but I will not use revenge on any other criminals!" He said "I am not sure what I would do, when I find the guy! Only time can tell!". Tara looked at him.

"Let me guess! Jaden told you that!" Tara said and grinned. Aster nodded. Tara smiled "I knew it! My brother has that kind of power! One of thousand things I like about him!". Aster grinned a little.

"You love your brother very much right!" Aster asked. Tara smiled.

"Love, that's a understatement!" She said and grin "I am never complete without him! But yes! Love him very much!". Aster smiled and looked at the beach.

"So wanna continue or do something else!" Aster asked. Tara smiled.

"Um I am hungry!" She said "I want to get out of the water!". Tara took her board and began walking in towards the beach again. Aster was right behind you.

"Um so do you want to eat at my place or the slifer dorm!" He asked.

"Um your boat!" She questioned and Aster nodded "Um why not, but I hope you have better food in at that place, then at the slifer dorm, and I will never go inside of your boat! Just thought you would know!". Aster nodded.

Atticus's p.o.v.

Atticus: 4000Lp.

Zane: 4000Lp.

Atticus started off. He summoned "R.e. Black chick" to the field, and because of it's special eff, Atticus could now summon "R.e black dragon" by sacrificing his chick. Then he played the spell "Inferno fire blast". Zane got slammed by 2400 points of damage. The same att as his dragon. Then he placed a card facedown. Zane smirked.

"You just played a really powerful combo!" He said in cold voice "Did you do it all by yourself or did nightshroud help Atticus!". Atticus looked at his friend and smiled.

"Like I said, Nightshroud is gone!" Atticus said and smiled "I am in control!". However Atticus looked down at his deck. A lot of black smoke was covering it now.

It was Zane's turn. He played his "Cyberdark horn" in att mode. He activated his monsters eff. He could check both their graveyards, and if there is a dragon there, Zane can equip the monster to his dragon. Zane snatched Atticus's chick and by doing so his Cyberdark horn gains 800 att extra. (the same amount as the equipped monster). Then Zane plays the spell "Megamorph" and are also equipping it to his monster. Because Zane had fewer life points, his monsters original att is now doubled. It is now as strong as Atticus's monster, however Zane's monster can't get destroyed in battle if it sacrifices the equipped monster. Zane attacked, however Atticus reveals his facedown card "Negate attack" trap card and stops Zane's attack. Zane ended his turn by placing a card facedown. Atticus's turn. He drew and noticed the dark aura around his card. He could hear the voice of nightshroud speak to him

"You can't hide from me Atticus!" He said "You and I are one and the same!".

Atticus sneered a little. He sacrificed his dragon to summon "R.e darkness dragon" to the field. The evil dark aura appeared around Atticus and he could hear Nightshroud laugh at him. Atticus sneered again.

"A wise choice!" Nightshroud said.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden had just won over a pro duelist. He was about to take his medals, when he heard a loud roar! Jaden turned towards the sound and saw a dragon in the sky a little away from him. It was Red eyes Darkness dragon!

"Jaden!" He could hear someone scream and saw Syrus and Hassleberry approaching him. Jaden waved at them.

"What's up guys!" He asked. Syrus looked at him.

"Haven't you heard!" He asked worried "My brother is dueling Atticus right now!".

"Um okay!" Jaden said and smiled "I think I have found them!". Jaden pointed at the dragon, and him, Syrus and Hassleberry rushed towards the duel.

Atticus's p.o.v.

Atticus: 4000Lp.

Zane: 1600Lp.

It was still Atticus's turn. He had just summoned darkness dragon, and its eff activated. For every dragon in his graveyard, his dragon gains 300 att and was now stronger than Zane's monster. He attacked and Zane lost some points, however by sacrificing his equipped monster, Zane's monster was safe. Atticus's dragon raised it's att again, because chick was in the grave again. Then Atticus plays the spell "Super rejuvenation". For every dragon who was discarded this turn, Attaícus draws a card. He drews one and ended his turn. He could hear Nightshroud laugh around him. It was Zane's turn again. He switches his horn, into def mode. Then he summoned "Cyberdark edge" to the field, and just like horn, it snatched a monster from the grave. He takes Atticus's chick. Then by cutting his att in half, Edge can attack the opponent directly. Atticus loses 800 points. Zane ended his turn by playing a facedown. Atticus sneered a little. It was his turn! He played the spell "Dragon heart". Now Atticus can sent 3 dragons from his deck to the grave, to give his dragon 1000 extra points, and because there is 3 dragons in the grave, Atticus's dragon gains 900 att points, and is now having 4600 att now. Atticus could feel the darkness around him now, and they were close at overpowering him now. But this may be the only way to save Zane, thought Atticus. He attacked with his dragon.

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden and his friends had just arrived at the field and saw how Atticus was about to attack Zane. A giant flame ball hit Zane. Jaden sighed. Was he really defeated. Zane's monster was of course not destroyed, because he sended Chick back to the grave, but his life points was a different matter. However when the smoke cleared, Zane was still standing, to everyone's surprise.

"But how!" screamed Atticus confused "You should have no life points left!".

"I played this!" said Zane and showed them a facedown card. It was called "Power wall". Zane took most of his deck and tossed it in the air. For every card he discarded, Zane could reduse the damage with 100 points, and since he discarded 37 cards, his life points were save. He only had 3 cards in his deck now though. Jaden and co. looked surprised. Zane never treated his card this badly.

"But why Zane?! Why?!" Atticus scream "Normally you would treat your monster with respect! I can't get though to you at all!". Jaden and co. saw how the darkness around Atticus increased, and suddenly he was wearing his Nightshroud mask again. Jaden looked really worried now. Nightshroud had taken over Atticus ones again. He grins and activated the spell "Dragon gunfire". With it he can destroy one of Zane's monster. He chose to destroy edge. At the end phase, Atticus's dragon loses att because of the effect of dragon heart is worn off. It is now Zane's turn again. He revealed his trap "Call of the haunted" and got Edge back from the grave again. Then he summoned "Cyberdark Keel" to the field. Zane then used "Polymerization" and fused his three monsters into "Cyberdark dragon" to the field, and like the rest of the monster's he could snatch a monster from his opponent's graveyard. He stole Atticus's R.e. Black dragon. Then his monster's second eff activated. For every card in the grave, his monster gained 100 att, and Zane had 37 cards in the grave. His monster had now, 7100 att point. Jaden and the other were really surprised.

"So that's why he trashed his own cards!" said Jaden confused. The others nodded.

"Yeah but he didn't need all there extra points to be Atticus!" said Syrus and clenched his fists. "He is just showing off! That is not like my brother at all!". Jaden nodded.

"What?! 7100 att points!" scream Nightshroud angry. Zane attacked Nightshroud and blasted the darkness away from Atticus. Atticus fell to the ground. He looked at Zane.

"Zane! What had happened to you?!" He said concerned. Jaden rushed over to him.

"Atticus are you okay! You are not possessed right?!" He asked concerned.

"No Jaden! I am fine!" He said and was starring at Zane. So was Syrus! Atticus got up on his feets and tossed his medal at Zane.

"Guess you won this Zane!" He said. However Zane just snort and stomped at it.

"I couldn't care less about it!" He said cruel "There is only two things I care about! The first thing is Victory! The second is..!". Jaden's eyes widened.

"My sister!" Jaden almost screamed "You want Tara!". Zane smirked a little.

"Yes!" He said in a cold voice "I want her!". Jaden clenched his fists a little. His sister was not just someone's price. She was a human being.

"You can't have her!" screamed a voice suddenly. Jaden turned around and saw Syrus standing really close at Zane now. He looked really angry!

"Tara is a sweet, caring girl! She has helped me a lot! Being my friend, and I'm her friend! And as her friend, I can not allow you to think of her as a price! She is more than that! She is your girlfriend!" screamed Syrus angry. "And as long as you see her as a price, I will stop you from claiming her! I will even fight you brother!". Jaden and the others looked surprised from Zane to Syrus. Jaden didn't know what to say, but he admired Syrus's courage. Zane snort suddenly and began walking away.

"You can try little brother!" said Zane cold "You can try!". Then he was gone. Jaden and co. looked after him. Jaden was stunned. What would Tara think of him by now!

Tara's p.o.v.

A little earlier.

"Wauh! This smells delicious!" Tara said and was sitting on a bench outside at Aster's boat. Aster had just placed it on the little table and smiled.

"Um then you should try it!" Aster said "Even though it is just noodles! I am not that good at making food!". Tara grinned.

"Well I don't care! I am starving!" She said and grabbed the bowl. There were some veggies and a little piece of meat in it. Aster smiled and took a cup of tea. His bowl was standing on the table next to him. Tara ate some of it and had christmas lights in her eyes. Aster grinned a little at her.

"It is so delicious!" She yelled and grabbed a fork and ate it with doubled tempo. Aster looked at her and grinned a little. He began slowly eating his food.

"You eat like Jaden!" He said "Must be a family trait of some sort!". Tara smiled.

"Well Jaden is always stealing my food as a child, so I have to eat faster than him!" She said. She was almost finished, when suddenly she could hear a giant blow of some sort, and she saw a giant ball of fire hit the volcano's side. Aster also looked at it. Tara was staring closely at it, and suddenly she noticed something. She was sure she saw a dragon, and just not any dragon, but Red eyes darkness dragon. Tara got up from her seat and was about to leave the boat, then she turned towards Aster and bowed polite.

"Um thanks for the food Aster!" She said "I have enjoyed myself today! And I forgive you! I hope we can be friends!". Aster smiled.

"Of course we can!" He said "I don't want to keep you! I think you want to know about that blow just now right!". Tara nodded and rushed towards the volcano.

At the vulcano side.

"Jaden, everyone!" yelled Tara. She could see Jaden, Atticus, Syrus and Hassleberry in front of her. She was a little confused! What had happened here?! Then she could see the beat up Atticus and rushed over to him. She noticed that he was dressed in Nightshroud's clothes. Jaden and Hassleberry was helping him walk a little, however they all looked at her, when she arrived.

"Sis! What are you doing here!" asked Jaden worried. Tara snort a little.

"I saw the fire blast and rushed over here! What happened? You aren't possessed aren't you Atticus!". She asked concerned. Atticus smiled a little.

"Why does all assume I am possessed!" He said and smiled "Never mind that! Nightshroud is gone for now, so don't worry!".

"Well and Atticus here had a duel..!" began Hassleberry, however Syrus covered his mouth again and grinned a little awkwardly. Tara was about to ask why they were all acting so weird, however Jaden was faster.

"Um so how about we take Atticus to the red dorm right now!" he said "I think Atticus needs some rest!". Tara looked confused at Jaden.

"Um what is wrong with the infirmary!" Tara asked confused.

"Yeah what is wrong with that!" Syrus added. Jaden grinned a little awkward.

"Well it is close at a dorm Syrus!" Jaden said "You know!". Tara looked from Syrus to Jaden. Something was fishy here! Syrus suddenly nodded.

"Oh yeah!" He said "Um yeah red dorm is maybe better!". They all began walking towards the red dorm. Tara looked suspiciously at them. She knew they were hiding something! She just needed to find out what!!

A,N: Yeah I know! Made Zane a little crueler! And he didn't meet Tara sadly! But they will meet! I can promise you that! The next Chapter is about Alexis and Jaden I think! It is going to be so much fun hehe!!
