Jaden's p.o.v.

”Jaden! You promised you would help me find Zane!” Tara yelled at him. Jaden had taken his sister hand and smiled. She was looking angry at him.

”I will! I will!” He said and grinned ”I just need to watch this duel with Syrus!”. They were standing on the hill, close at the slifer red dorm. Tara and Jaden was finally over their colds, and it had been a big one. They had been in bed in almost a week. Amazing what a ice duel could do, but hey they were almost transformed into ice sculptures, so who blames them. However in the mean time, Syrus had gone around on the island and winning medal after medal. Jaden could see his friend now, at the sea cliff. He was dueling a oberlisk boy and was actually winning. Syrus had 2500 lp's and two monsters on the field. ”Patroid” and ”Submarineroid”. His opponent had 700 lp's and also two monsters, ”Gagagigo” and ”Amphibian beast” on the field, and they were stronger than Syrus's monster.

”You never explained why Syrus is dueling so hard!” Tara suddenly said and looked at Jaden ”Normally he is avoiding every challenger, but now..!”. Jaden sighed.

”Well I never told you that did I?!” Jaden said and looked at Tara ”He is training!”.

”Um why is he training?!” Tara said and looked confused at Jaden ”Who is he trying to beat anyway?!”. Jaden sighed and looked at Syrus again.

”Um well he is um actually training, so that he can duel against Zane!” mumbled Jaden and hoped that Tara didn't hear him. She did!!

”WHAT!” She screamed ”Why is he doing that!”. Jaden sighed.

”Well because of you actually! Syrus sees you as his friend, and he was really happy that you and Zane are together! However since Zane has changed, he has decided to protect you from him, until he can bring Zane back that is!” Jaden said and smiled a little sad smile. Tara looked at him and snort.

”I don't need protection!” She stated ”I can take care of myself! And I know Zane hasn't changed! He is only acting that or something! I know he still loves me!”. Jaden looked worried at Tara and took her hand again and smiled.

”If you say so sis!” He said ”What about we watch this duel and then go out to look for him!”. Tara smiled and nodded. They watched the rest of the duel. Syrus had activated his submarineroid's eff, and attacked the oberlisk blue student directly. He won the duel. Jaden waved at Syrus, when he had taken his opponents medal's, and was now walking towards them.

”Awesome duel Sy!” said Jaden and grinned ”You were really kicking duels out there!”. Syrus smiled and looked a split second at Tara.

”Um thank! But I am still not ready yet!” Syrus said and smiled. Tara snort a little.

”What are you talking about Sy!” She said and smiled ”I saw your duel! I know you are ready to face Zane! Jaden told me! And next time, I don't need a bodyguard!”. She pointed at Syrus's cheek and Jaden saw that he actually blushed a little.

”Oh Syrus!” Jaden said and grinned ”You like my sister! Don't you!”.

”Um NO, NO!” Syrus said and turned tomato red ”I like her as a friend! Um and I love seeing her with Zane! Um well I like her as a sister!”. He totally lost it.

”I get it!” Jaden said and smiled. Tara did the same thing ”You like us as family right! We like you as family as well! And as Tara told you! You are already ready to face Zane! There is no special time for dueling your brother!”. Syrus smiled and sighed.

”I am not sure Jaden! You know ”Power bond”, the card Zane gave me! There is a reason it is not there! I will put it in when I am ready!”. Tara and Jaden looked at each other. They didn't say anything. Suddenly Hassleberry was running towards them.

”Hey you guys!” He scream ”Aster and Zane are about to fight each other! At the main entrance!”. Jaden looked really shocked.

”They are WHAT!” said Tara and clenched her fists. Syrus sighed.

”Now we know what Aster meant by fixing things!” Syrus said ”He want to either change Zane back or lose to him on purpose!”. Jaden looked at his sister and Syrus. They were about to run to the main entrance. Jaden was still standing on the hill.

”Are you coming Jay!” asked Tara worried. Jaden waved at her.

”Um I need to do something first! Just meet me there!” He said. Tara shrugged. Jaden could see her running after Syrus. Jaden sighed.

”So where would Syrus hide his power bond card!” said Jaden out loud and rushed towards the Ra yellow dorm.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was running and running. She was running towards the main entrance with only one thing in mind, and that was Zane. Zane her boyfriend. Zane, the boy she was in love with, and hadn't seen in ages. (In her mind, It is actually only a half year). She passed Syrus at some point, but Tara didn't have time to wait for him. She was only thinking, to get to the main entrance as fast as possible. She didn't believe the others! She didn't believe that her beloved Zane had turned into a really cruel and satanistiske person. She just couldn't believe it. She was almost at the entrance now. She could hear Asters voice in the background now.

”So what's with the new goth look Truesdale! Thinking that you could scare me or your opponent away?!” Aster said. ”Well you have to face me now! Or are you to scared because I beat you on tv ones. I am fighting you for Tara's sake! Want revenge?!”. Tara clenched her fist a little, and was sending a prayer inside her mind.

”Please don't let them fight!” she was thinking. Tara stopped up at the streets to the entrance. She could see Aster and Zane now. Zane was standing a little away from her, with his back turned against her, however Tara could recognize his blue hair anywhere. She was catching her breath now. Syrus was running pass her and was apparently trying to stop the match, however Tara didn't really care. She was staring at Zane now. It was really him! He had got new clothes, but he was still her Zane. She walked slowly towards him. Tara could have rushed over to him, but a lot of thoughts were running through her head now. What if he really had changed? What if he didn't like her any longer? Did she actually brush her hair this morning, and a lot of other stuff. She was scared! However suddenly Aster noticed her.

”Tara!” He said in a low voice, however apparently Zane heard it, and turned around. Tara stopped up again. She was staring at him, and Zane was staring at her. They did that in some minutes, until Tara broke the silence. She rushed over to him.

”Zane!” She said and tossed herself at his chest. She had closed her eyes and were only hugging him. He was still the same old Zane! He had changed his appearances, but he was still her loving Zane! However she was only imagining this inside her mind, where love sadly can make you blind.

”Tara!” said a cold cruel voice. Tara flinched. It didn't sound right! She opened her eyes and were looking at some cold purple eyes. Tara got a little scared! It was no longer the caring, loving purple eyes, she could remember. They were cold now. However suddenly she is pulled into a hug. Zane had placed his arms around her.

”Tara! I have really missed you!” He whispered into her ear. Tara sighed relieved. He was only changed on the outside! Not the inside! Suddenly she can feel Zane's lips against hers. He was actually kissing her. Tara got really surprised, and she forgot to kiss him back. It didn't feel right. Tara noticed that Aster, Syrus and Hassleberry were watching, and turns a little red. She also noticed Aster's sad face. Tara pulls back. Zane looks at her, with a cold glare and a minute later, he grabs her hand.

”Come! We are leaving!” He said and began walking away with her. Tara was so confused. She didn't know what was going on! Why where they leaving? She didn't want to leave!

”Um Zane! Where are we going?!” She asked worried. Zane snort angry.

”I just want to get away from the idiotic maggots!” He said cold. Tara stopped up and was staring at Zane. She had never heard him say that about his friends before.

”But I don't want to leave!” Tara said suddenly and got out of his grip. She wanted to stay! She began walking back to her friends, however Zane suddenly grabs her hand again.

”I said we are leaving!” He said cold and squeezed her arm a little tight. Tara looked really shocked at him now. He had never forced her to do anything! Tara tried to get out his grip, but he just squeezed her arm a little more.

”Av Zane you are hurting me!” She said. Zane only looked cold at her. A minute or two later, he let go of her. He was looking at her now.

”You don't belong with them Tara!” He said cold ”They are all just maggots! Your mine! You belong with me!”. Tara couldn't believe what she was hearing! She was scared now, and began backing away from him. It was not her Zane at all. She couldn't recognize him at all. His warm smiles and hugs. His laugher and beautiful eyes who was always sparkling. It was all gone now! Even his kisses felt different. Zane grabbed her arm again, and tried to drag her with him, however suddenly Syrus was standing in between them. She didn't even noticed him! Maybe because he was a little small! However he pushes Zane away from her, and shielded her like a bodyguard of some sort. Tara looked shocked at him.

”Brother! I told you! If you ever would claim Tara only because she was a price to you! I would stop you!” He said and was staring at Zane. ”I also said that I would fight you! You have to get through me first, if you ever wants Tara!”. Tara looked shocked from Syrus to Zane. She didn't know what to do!

”Tara!” said a voice suddenly, and Tara saw Jaden and the rest of the gang appear beside her. Tara looked at Jaden, and suddenly tears began falling down her cheeks. Jaden slowly embraced her and she cried at his chest.

”I was so scared!” She said while crying ”I can't recognize him at all!”.

”I know!” Jaden said and tried to comfort her ”I told you, but I understand why you didn't believe me! You love him!”. Tara let out a cry.

”Jaden!” Tara could suddenly hear Zane talk. He sounded angry ”Give her up! She is mine! Tara doesn't belong to any of you maggots!”. Jaden sneered back.

”Oh yeah!” He said angry ”Well who does she belong to then! You! Forget it! You promised her that you would never hurt her! But guess what you are doing right now!”. Tara looked at Jaden, then at Zane. He looked angry and was staring at her.

Jaden let go of Tara, and she could see that Aster and Hassleberry standing beside her and was protecting her too. Syrus was staring at Zane now. Suddenly Jaden tripped and hit Syrus's duel disk, and his cards were flying around in the air. Jaden got fast up on his feets and grabbed every card. He smiled awkwardly and took the rest of the cards, from the duel disk and shuffled the cards. He gave Syrus them back.

”Sorry Sy!” He said and smiled ”But I need to ask you a favor! Can you duel Zane and show him what respect is! Show him he can't claim everything!”. Syrus was glaring at Zane. He smiled at Jaden.

”It would be my pleasure!” Syrus said. Tara looked at Zane. He looked like he really didn't care. He was still staring at her.

”Zane! I duel you to a challenge! Um I mean I am challenging you to a duel!” Syrus stated. Tara noticed that Zane was sending him a cruel smile.

”It is your funeral little brother!” He said and smirked ”And if you really want to challenge me, you will have to duel my way!”. Zane took a giant suitcase out from somewhere, and inside was some iron rings. Tara didn't know what that was, but it couldn't be good! Zane told them, that it made the duel more electrifying. Tara looked in horror! They were shock devices!

”Oh Zane!” said Tara concerned ”What have you been through!”. Zane looked at her.

”I have been through hell!” He said cold ”But it made me stronger! It made me realise that respect is for losers! And the only thing who is important is Victory! The winner can take it all, and the loser deserves nothing! So little brother are you ready to enter hell together with me!”. Syrus looked at the rings.

”Um Sy!” Began Jaden ”Um about what I said, you don't need too..!”.

”I accept!” Syrus said ”I will enter hell with you and even bring you back from there”.

Tara looked in horror, when Zane and Syrus took these rings and placed them on their bodies. They couldn't go through with this. She rushes over to Zane's side.

”Zane! Please stop this duel!” She begged ”I don't want to see any of you hurt!”.

”Tell that to Syrus!” said Zane cold and looked at her ”He challenged me! I will never back down from a challenge! Now move it, or you will get in between the crossfire!”. He pushed her a little away and walked two steps so that he was standing in front of Syrus now. Tara sighed and walked over to the others. Jaden was holding her hand, as a sign that he was with her, then he let go. The duel began.

Syrus: 4000Lp.

Zane: 4000Lp.

Zane started off. He summoned his ”Infernal dragon” to the field in def mode. He ended his turn with a facedown. Syrus's turn. He summoned ”Truckroid” to the field, and attacks Zane's dragon. Syrus's monster special eff kicks in. When it beats a monster, that monster gets equipped to Truckroid and it adds the att points from the monster to truckroid. It now had 3000 att. Syrus ends his turn with a facedown.

”So how long has you bin keeping an eye on my duels, little brother!” Zane said and smirked. Syrus was glaring at him.

”Long enough! I know you need monsters in your grave, to use that underworld deck of yours!” Syrus stated. Zane smirked a cruel smile.

”You will still lose twerp!” Zane said. Syrus ended his turn with a facedown.

”Let the destruction begin!” said Zane and smirked again. He summoned his ”Exploder dragon” to the field, and made it attack Syrus's truckroid. When this monster get's destroyed, the monster who destroyed it, gets destroyed as well, and Zane doesn't get any damage. Then he used the spell ”Quick summon” which made him summon ”Cyberdark horn” to the field. Tara had never seen that monster before. What had happened to all his cyber dragons? She thought. However Zane's monster eff activated. He took his infernal dragon from the grave and equipped it to his monster. His horn gained 2000 more att. he attacks Syrus directly, however Syrus had a trap ready. It was called ”Life force” and by sacrificing 400 lp's, Zane's attack damage, returns to zero. Zane looked at Syrus and smirked.

”Even though you stopped my attack, you will still get hurt, for the life points you sacrificed! This is gonna hurt a lot, little brother!”. Electricity runs through Syrus's body. Tara looked in horror. She could hear and see Syrus scream. This was painful to watch. She looked at Zane. He was grinning. Did he think it was fun! Shocking his own little brother. Tara couldn't believe it!!

”I am beginning to see your strategy Syrus!” He said in a cold voice and smiled ”You have filled your deck with cards, who reduce battle damage I see! But even they come with a price! The pain isn't to much for you now? Is it?! How long can you last I wonder! Before you fall!!”.

”I will.. be fine!” Syrus said in a angry tone and summoned his ”Submarineroid” to the field. He activated his special eff, and attacked Zane directly. He lost 800 points, and of course he got shocked as well. However he wasn't screaming or anything. He was just standing there, like it didn't hurt at all. Syrus switched his monster in def mode and placed a card facedown, and ended his turn. Zane smiled.

”It is funny!” said Zane suddenly ”I have actually gotten used to the pain! Now I don't see this as a problem any more! Now I see this as the feeling of victory!”. He grinned a little and summoned this time his ”Cyberdark edge” to the field, and like horn, it grabbed a dragon from Zane's grave and equipped it to his monster. Then he made Horn attack Syrus's monster, however Syrus had a trap ready again. It was called ”Cyber repairer”. Zane had to draw a card from his deck, and now Syrus's monster couldn't get destroyed in battle this turn. However Zane's monster gave piercing damage. Syrus activated ”Life force”, sacrificed 400 points, and all other damage was Zero again. Zane smirked. He had stopped his attack again, but he would still get a little shock. Syrus screamed once again. Tara covered her ears. However Zane wasn't done. By cutting it's att points in half, Edge could now attack Syrus directly. Syrus activated life force again, lost 400 points and got another shock through his body. Tara was crying! It was painful to watch. Zane ended his turn with a facedown.

”Oh man!” said Aster suddenly ”Zane is taking this duel to far! This is nuts!”. The others all nodded. However they couldn't do anything, since Syrus chose this on his own. They could only watch him and Zane getting hurt.

”What are you thinking Zane!” Syrus shouted at him ”This isn't a duel! This is sick!”.

”Just give it some time!” Zane said and smirked ”I had the same feeling when I started to duel in the underground dueling arena! However then I discovered the pleasure of pain! Duels aren't just fun and games! They hurt! Especially when you lose something important! Duels are about enduring pain and make your opponent suffer!”. Tara looked shocked! Zane what had happened to you! She thought confused! Then she remembered what he just said. Especially when you lose something important! Was this all my fault? Thought Tara, because I wasn't by his side! She felt so confused?! She snapped out of her world when Syrus said:

”You don't really mean that Zane! You used to care! Had respect for others”.

”Respect is for losers!” Zane replied cruel and smirked ”When I win, I can take what I want!”. Tara noticed that Zane was looking at her. Syrus sneered.

”No you won't!” He said ”I am still in this!”. Syrus continued the duel. It was his turn. He played the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two cards. Then he summoned ”Cycroid” to the field, and equipped the spell ”Training wheels” onto it. His monster could now attack directly. Zane got slammed by two direct attacks, and like before, Zane didn't say a word when he got shocked. He was only smiling. Syrus's Cycroid got removed from play, until his next standby phase. Then Syrus switched his other monster into def mode, placed a facedown and ended his turn. It was Zane's turn again. He also used ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. Then he summoned ”Cyberdark keel” to the field.

”How many cyberdark thing, can one man have!” said Jaden suddenly ”I just wished this stupid duel would end soon!”. Tara nodded.

”Me too sarge!” said Hassleberry and sighed. Tara sighed as well. Zane attacked with horn and destroyed Syrus's monster. Syrus activated life force and got shocked. Then Zane attacked with his two other monster, and Syrus had to activate life force or he would have been done for. He got shocked one more time and screamed. He fell down on one knee. Tara was about to rush into the duel and help Syrus, however Aster had grabbed her hand and shook his head. She couldn't meddle. Zane placed a card facedown and ended his turn. He was smiling cruel at Syrus.

”Syrus are you okay!” Jaden yelled. Syrus got slowly up from the ground.

”Zane!” he said ”Who are you! I don't recognize you any longer! And I feel like I am done respecting you!”. Zane smiled evilly.

”Now you finally get it!” Zane said and laughed ”Respecting your opponent is absolutely pointless! Only the winners deserve respect! As for the losers, they deserve pain! A lot of it! The world if full of hurt, you either get hurt or you control the hurt, and inflict it on the weak! You see that know don't you Sy!”. Tara looked a Zane. Was that really true! Was it really okay to hurt others like this?! Suddenly she felt Jaden's hand. He had grabbed it and was looking worried at her.

”Don't listen to him!” He said at was looking at Tara. Then he turned towards Syrus ”Don't listen to him Sy! Zane isn't himself! You said you would protect Tara and show Zane the ways of respect! The respect for his opponent! The respect for his cards and the respect for himself and others right!”. Syrus looked at Jaden and smiled. Tara looked at Jaden too.

”Thanks!” She said ”You are right Jaden! He needs to learn some respect!”. She wiped her face, to get rid of her tears and smiled back at Jaden.

”You are welcome!” He said and grinned. Syrus was suddenly staring at Jaden.

”Jay! How in the world did power bond end in my deck! I said I would use it, when I am ready!” Syrus said. Tara looked at her brother. So that's why he tripped.

”But you are ready Sy!” Jaden said ”I may have shuffled it into your deck, but I didn't make you draw it! Now show your brother the ways of respect!”. Syrus nodded.

It was his turn and he got back his Cycroid. Then he played his power bond spell card and fused together his two cycroids in his hand and on the field, to create ”Pair cycroid”, and because he used power bond it's attack was doubled. (1600 – 3200). Syrus activated his monster's special eff, by giving up on 500 att points, Pair Cycroid could attack Zane directly. Tara was holding her breath. If this attack success, Zane would lose the duel. However Zane activated a trap called ”Power wall”. He took 27 cards from his deck and tossed it to the grave. Now he didn't get any damage at all. Syrus sighed and placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Now the downside of power bond, kicks in. Syrus had to give up 1600 lp's, for using it, however Syrus reveals a trap called ”Mirror damage”. Since Syrus's life points was about to get hit by an eff, then he could with this trap, reverse the damage over to Zane instead. Now Zane had to give up 1600 lp's. However Zane also reveals a trap. It is called ”Fusion guard”, and by sending a fusion card to the grave, Zane didn't take any damage. He chose to send his ”Cyber end dragon” to the grave. Tara looked in horror. She could hear the dragon scream from the grave. It was really hurting! Zane! She was thinking, what have you done! However Zane looked like he didn't care! It was Zane's turn now. He had only one card left in his deck.

”One card Syrus!” He said and grinned ”One card! And I still beat you!”.

”You might! You might not!” replied Syrus and sighed. Zane draw his last card. He used the spell ”Warp beam” and equipped it to his horn and keel. Then he took the two equipped dragon, and sended them to the grave. His two target monster could now attack Syrus directly, by losing 200 points (800- 600), and edge could also attack by cutting his att points in half. Syrus activated life force and payed 1200 life points, to survive all three attacks. However Zane was not finished yet. He had activated his trap ”Rebirth Judgement”. Now every monster card, in both their graves, turns into dragons. Then Zane activated his spell card ”Instant fusion” and fused his three cyberdark monsters into ”Cyber dark dragon”. Like the other cyberdark monsters, his dragon grabbed a dragon from his grave, and since every card in their grave was dragons, Zane chose his ”Cyber end dragon” and equipped it to his dragon. The second eff activated. For every dragon card in the grave, Zane's dragon gained 100 points extra. His dragon had now 8800 att. He attacks Syrus's monster. Tara bit herself in the lip. Syrus only had 400 life points. So even if he plays life force, it was game over. However Syrus surprised everyone, when he revealed his facedown card. It was the spell ”Emergency provisions”. By sacrificing his trap ”Mirror damage” Syrus gained 1000 extra life points. Then he played life force, lost 400 points and got shocked. However now Zane's turn was done. Tara looked at Zane and noticed that he was still smiling. He was holding the quick spell ”De-fusion” and played it. His three cyberdark monsters returned to the field, and they could now attack. Syrus had 800 life points left. Zane three dragons. Syrus had lost the duel. Zane attacked and finished up Syrus. He got shocked one last time, and lost the duel. He looked at Zane one last time, and then he fell to the ground. It had only bin pure will strength that made him fight to the end, and now that he lost, his will power left with him.

Jaden rushed over to Syrus, together with Hassleberry. Tara and Aster both stayed where they are. Tara was looking at Zane. He snort a little at Syrus and walked over to her. He didn't even check if Syrus were alright or not. Tara clenched her fist a little.

Zane was standing in front of her, and he was actually smiling.

”Tara! Come!” He said and was holding a hand towards her, but was not taking her arm like before. He was not forcing her, like before. Tara was longing for taking his hand, and just forgetting everything. Everything that had happened, but she couldn't. Instead she pushed his hand away from her and was staring into his eyes.

”No!” she said ”I am not going with you! Not until I gets some answers from you!”. Zane looked at her, then snort a little angry. However a minute or two he sighed.

”You are stubborn!” He said ”You know that!”. Tara snort a little as a reply.  

”Not as stubborn as you!” She said and actually smiled a little. Zane sighed.

”What do you want to know” He said a little cold. Tara sighed a little.

”Why are you treating your friends and brother like this!” She asked. Zane smirked.

”You means these people around us!” He said and snort cold ”I couldn't care less about them! They are all worthless losers! They are not my friends!”. Tara looked really sad at Zane now and sighed. She took a look at Syrus, who was lying in Jaden's arms. He was unconscious! Jaden would properly had taken him to the infirmary by now, but Tara knew he was listening to this conversation. She looked at Zane again.

”Is there even something you cares for!” Tara asked ”Beside victory! Or have your heart turned to stone already!”. Zane was staring at her for a moment. Tara was a little shocked, that he didn't get angry at that statement.

”Yes!” said Zane suddenly and actually smiled a normal smile ”I care for you! You are the only thing beside Victory, who is important to me!”. Tara was a little stunned by these words. She looked over at Aster suddenly! She could see that he was looking at the ground. She looked over at Jaden. He was looking at her and smiled a little. She could hear a thought from him. Follow your heart!. Tara sighed.

”Then let me ask you this Zane!” She said and took a deep breath ”If I ever challenged you like Syrus did you! Would you then duel me?!”. Zane looked at her for a moment, and then grinned a little.

”You would never do that!” He said and grinned again ”But if you really were that foolish Tara! Then Yes, I would accept your challenge!”. Tara looked at him! Inside she was about to cry, but she didn't want to cry in front of him. What should she do now?! She was so confused! Suddenly Zane took her hand and smiled.

”Are you finished with your foolished questions!” He asked ”I have waited a long time to see you again Tara! I have claimed you, you know!”. He was looking at her with cold eyes and smile. Suddenly Tara could remember something! At that time in Aster's mansion and meet Sartorius for the first time! She was not brainwashed yet!

”I see a lot of hurt in your future! You will be hurting a lot, before you will be happy!”. Tara looked at Zane! She looked at Aster, and then she looked down at the floor, and at her feets. She felt that tears was about to come out of her eyes.

”No! You have not claimed me yet!” She said. Zane lifted his eyebrowns.

”What do you mean?!” He asked confused and looked a little angry. Tara took a deep breathe and got out of his grip. She looked at Zane. She loved him so much! She even loved this not so pretty side of him! She sighed.

”ZANE! I AM BREAKING UP WITH YOU!” She screamed and continued ”Until you know how to treat other people, I will not see you or be with you! Goodbye!”. Then she began running away. Towards the forest! She didn't care where she was going, she just wanted to get away. Tears where falling from her eyes!

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was holding his best friend who had collapsed on the ground after the duel.

”Sy are you okay!” He asked. Syrus was just conscious and looked weakly at Jaden.

”Where is..my brother!” He asked in a low voice. Jaden smiled a little.

”He is talking to Tara!” He replied. Syrus looked at him.

”No he can't! I... have to protect..!” but they he felt unconscious. Jaden was screaming inside. What have Zane done?! He was really angry now! However then he noticed Tara, and that she was talking to him. He noticed her sad eyes, and was sending her a smile. Follow your heart!, He said inside his mind, and noticed that Tara actually catched that. Suddenly she was looking at the floor and then she moved a little away from Zane?! Jaden was confused?! Then he heard her scream the break up! Jaden was actually sure the whole island could hear that, and looked shocked at his sister. She rushed away from Zane, and Jaden was sure that he saw her crying! Jaden looked at Hassleberry, and placed Syrus in his arms.

”He needs a doctor!” Jaden said ”Please take him to the infirmary Hassleberry!”.

”10,4 Sarge!” Hassleberry said and got up on his feets ”But what about you!”.

”I am staying!” He said ”I think I have to stop a fight in a minute!”. Hassleberry looked at Jaden and nodded. Then he rushed toward the infirmary. Jaden sighed and began walking over to Zane, who was in staring out in the middle of the air, like he was paralyzed. Who could blame him, Tara just broke up with him! A minute later it turned into rage instead, and Zane grabbed Aster by the collar. Aster didn't do anything to prevent this. Maybe he was stunned as well, thought Jaden.

”You!” Screamed Zane angry at Aster ”It is all your fault! If you hadn't interfered in the first place! She would still be with me!”. Jaden sighed. Here we go!

”Yes! You are right about that Zane!” said Aster suddenly. ”I am the one, who destroyed both of your lives! I am sorry!”. It surprised Jaden. He thought Aster would fight back or something. Zane sneered angry at him.

”Bring her back! Bring her back, your worthless scum!” He said angry and tossed Aster at the ground. Jaden stopped Zane, before he did more things to Aster.

”Zane stop!” He said angry ”This doesn't help anybody, and especially not you! Aster can't bring Tara back! She is gone! She decided this on her own, and she is no longer yours, or anybody for that matter!”. Zane looked angry at Jaden.

”Move your little maggots! He is gonna pay!” Zane said. However Jaden shielded Aster, and was staring inside Zane's cold eyes.

”What about you think instead of just letting your rage out on others!” Jaden said ”Think about why my sister broke up with you instead! When you have found the answer, then try do something about it! Maybe Tara would give you a change then!”.

Zane looked angry at him, and was about to hit Jaden, but stopped himself. He looked at Jaden, then at Aster, and then at the place Tara had rushed away. Then he snort.

”Whatever!” He said and began leaving in the opposite direction Tara had taken. Jaden sighed relieved and looked at Aster and helped him up.

”If you excuse me! I need to talk to my sister!” Jaden said.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was crying. She was crying her heart out. She was standing beside the stairs at the slifer dorm and was hugging one of the poles to the stairs. She could have gone inside her room to cry, but Tara didn't feel like going in there. She didn't want to do anything actually. She couldn't believe that she had broken up with him. Zane! She loved him so much, but Tara also knew deep down, that if she had stayed, she would have regretted it for the rest of her life. Zane would still be as cold as ever, and properly never be his old self again. She hoped that she at least shook him a little awake. Tara let out a cry again. Why was her stupid heart hurting so much? She couldn't stand it. Suddenly she heard footsteps, and they sounded like they were walking towards her. Tara had her head at the pole, and had closed her eyes. She didn't care look who it was.

”Go away Jaden! I am not in the mood, talking to you!” she said.

”I am not Jaden!” said a voice suddenly. Tara gasped a little and turned around. Aster was standing in front of her and was smiling a sad smile.

”Aster wha..!” She began, but Aster interrupted her.

”I took your brothers place!” He said ”He was about to go after you, but I stopped him, and said I would do it, and that he should be by Syrus's side!”. Tara looked at Aster and turned around again. She couldn't stand to look at him.

”Why are you here?!” She said, maybe a little cold ”Taking advantage that I have no boyfriend any longer, and thinks you can get me, now that my heart are hurting!”.

”I would never do that! Or maybe the old me would!” Aster said and sighed ”I can't deny that I have done that in the past! Breaking up with a girl, and then just take the next girl hours later! The good thing about being a pro! You have a fans everywhere! But you Tara, you are not a fan!”. Tara snort cold back at him.

”Very observant of you!” Tara said cold ”What does that have to do with anything!”.

”You are different Tara!” He said ”You treated me like a normal human, a normal boy, when we first meet! I was surprised! No one does that! Even after you knew who I was! You were screaming at me, when I asked you out remember! Every girl would gladly say yes! But not you! I falled in love with you from the first sight! However it really didn't turn out right. Sartorius interfered, and I hurt you in so many ways! You and your ex boyfriend!”. Tara turned around and looked at him.

”Yes! Yes you did!” She said, but smiled (If you can do that, while crying). ”But I told you I forgive you! I still forgive you!”. Aster nodded and sighed.

”Let me finish Tara!” He said ” and I know you forgive me! I am not here to trying to claim you! I am trying to tell you that I give up on you!”. Tara looked confused at him. Aster sighed.

”I know you would never love me back Tara! That's the reason why I give up on you! I am only asking you to be my friend! Your heart belongs to someone else forever, I know! But if you ever need to talk to someone, I will be there!”. Aster said and began leaving. Tara looked at Aster, and grabbed his hand!

”Please! It hurts so much! Aster please stay!” She begged. Aster turned around and looked at her. Then he smiled.

”I think you need a giant ice bucket! Isn't that what girls eats when they have a broken heart!” Aster said and grinned. Tara hit him on the arm.

”Really funny Aster!” She said and smiled a little smile ”I actually doesn't like Ice cream at all! What about some of your delicious noodles instead?!”. Aster smiled and pulled her into a hug, then he let her go.

”Want a race! From here to my boat! The loser makes dinner!” He said. Tara smiled and wiped her face clean. Then she smiled a little again.

”You are on!” She said, and began running.
