Jaden's p.o.v.

”Jaden! Watch out!” screamed Tara and jumped in front of him. Jaden looked confused at his sister. Aster's monster dreadmaster was about to attack one of Jaden's monster, and the hologram cut through Tara. 

”Tara what in the world are you doing!” He asked. His sister sent him a last sad smile. Suddenly a bright light appeared out of nowhere and Jaden had to close his eyes. He could hear his sister scream. Jaden opened his eyes and saw Tara unconscious on the floor. He rushed to his side, but the same bright light appeared again. Jaden had to close his eyes again. He felt weird. Suddenly his duel disk exploded, and all his cards were blowing out of it. Jaden saw Winged Kuriboh disappear in front of him! Everything went blank. Jaden screamed his spirits and sisters name, before he passed out on the floor too. 

Unknown p.o.v.

Around the duel field was a stranger watching. Nobody of the others could see Him/Her. It had seen everything! The duel and Tara's sacrifice. The stranger was furious! It had bin so close to get Jaden's soul. 

”Stupid girl!” The stranger scream, but a little bit after it smirked. 

”No matter! The girl will do for now!”. The stranger laughed and disappeared. Just like that.

Jaden's p.o.v.

”You can't be serious!” screamed Syrus concerned ”Tell me this is a joke Jay!”.

”No I am serious Sy!” Jaden said and sighed ”I can't see my cards! They all blank!”. They were at the infirmary and the headmaster of the girl dorm, Miss Fontaine was examining Jaden. His friends Alexis, Chazz, Bastion, Syrus and Hassleberry was with him and they were really worried. On a bed a little away from Jaden and the others, were Tara lying. She was in a coma!

”Something happened in Jaden's duel that made Jaden see blank cards and turned Tara into a coma!” Miss Fontaine said and sighed. She also looked worried. 

”But there were nothing out of the ordinary!” said Alexis confused. The others agreed. Hassleberry was sitting on a chair next to Tara's bed, and he was crying his heart out. 

”Oh Tara, my beautiful little fern!” He cried ”Why did you leave me!”. 

”Hassleberry shut up!” screamed Syrus ”It is already bad as it is! We don't need you to cry out to a girl you never get anyway! Tara doesn't love you! Get over it!”. 

”Oh yeah!” screamed Hassleberry back ”What do you know about love private Truesdale! I love her and that's that! One day Tara will love me!”.

”No she won't!” screamed Syrus ”She is in love with my brother! Tell them Jay!”.

But Jaden wasn't answering. He was standing beside Tara's bed and were distant. The others looked surprised at him. 

”Jaden, are you okay!” asked Alexis worried. Jaden didn't answer. He was just looking at Tara. He had taken her hand. Tara didn't respond at all. Jaden suddenly began crying. Some of his tears were falling down on Tara's cheek. 

”Tara!” said Jaden with a harsh voice. He was trying to hold his tears back. ”I am sorry. I could not protect you! I didn't listen to you!”. With his last strength of will, he ran towards the exit.

”I...I need some fresh air!” He said.

”But Sarge” said Hassleberry confused ”What about your sister!”. But Jaden were already gone. He was running towards the slifer dorm. He was crying again. He needed to be alone. It was the second time, he lost someone. First time it was his mother!

Flashback. 

They were 10 years old.

”I am gonna win this race!” said Tara and teased her brother. Jaden looked angry at her. Tara was already in the lead, but Jaden had no intentions to let her sister win another race. This was something the twins was doing everyday after school. They raced each other to see who was fastest. Tara was always winning the races, but Jaden was always winning the duels. 

”I win again!” said Tara proud when they arrived at their house. Jaden was out of breath and was sending his sister a angry look.

”You always win!” He said sulking ”Couldn't you let me win just ones!”.

”Sure!” said Tara and smiled ”But then you are gonna let me win some duels in a while!”. Jaden smiled.

”Never!” He said and grinned. His sister smiled too and grinned.

”Then I am never gonna let you win ether!”. Tara opened the door and froze. Something was wrong! Jaden didn't feel it and walked inside. 

”Jay, hold on. Something is not right!” said Tara. There were not any light inside the house, and they couldn't hear there mother singing. She was not saying ”Welcome home” like she always does when they did return home. The twins was rushing inside, looking for the mother. They found her in the bedroom. She was lying on the floor and didn't move at all. Jaden was trying to shake his mother awake, but it didn't help. Tara was the smart one. She grabbed the cellphone, and called the doctors and police. Jaden was just sitting by his mothers side. Totally in shock. When doctors and co. arrived it was already to late. Their mother was already dead. She had died from an stroke inside the brain. Now the twins was all alone. They didn't know who their farther was. The only family they had, was an uncle who was on a journey overseas together with his wife to become pro duelist. Luckily there mother had left a will, and someone from the system was helping them, but jaden had always sworn, that he would protect his sister from any harm. Funny enough Tara was thinking the same thing. 

End of flashback.

Tara had always bin by his side no matter what. She was the smarter one. She was the one, who moved on after there mothers dead. She was the one he relied on, and she had promised him, that she would be by his side always. Tara had broken that promise. Jaden was not angry at her for it, but he was angry at himself, because he couldn't protect her. He got depressed.

Normal p.o.v.

Jaden's friends were back at Chazz's place. They were discussing what to do. 

”I'm sad to tell you that without Jaden, this dorm is going to be torn down!” said Bastion and sighed. The others sighed too. 

”Nope!” said Chazz suddenly and grinned ”We may be two persons short, but we are still 1 woman, 3 boys and Syrus!”. 

”Hey!” screamed Syrus, but he also smiled. However soon after they heard singing. Atticus arrived and challenged Alexis to a duel. If she loses then she will start this popstar group with him. Luckily Alexis won that duel. 

In the mean time:

Taras p.o.v.

Tara was in a coma, but that didn't mean that she was out of the game yet. She was having one of those ”Out of the body!” experience. She was in some kind of ghost stade, and had watched Jaden when he approached her body. She saw him crying. She knew how he felt, she could feel it with her twin power. Her brother was guilty. Guilty and angry over that he couldn't protect her. She also knew that if Jaden just relaxed, he would feel her too. But he was too upset. Tara wished she could say something to her brother, but he couldn't hear her. Instinctly she followed Jaden, when he left towards the slifer dorm. Her brother was just lying on the bed, crying. Tara was thinking! She wished to comfort him. She approached him and was trying to touch him, when suddenly a loud voice screamed.

”Don't touch him! He is mine!”. 

Satorius's p.o.v.

A,N: I have made up some of the tarot cards in this chapter, and some of them are corect. I thought it wasn't that important.

Satorius was sitting in his white room. He was sitting on a glass chair near a glass table like always. On the table he had his precious tarot cards. Satorius was angry. Jaden's sister had ruined his plan! His plan to obtain Jaden, and make him his servant. She had shielded her brother from 3/4 of the power, he had put into Aster's deck. And even through 1/4 of the power hid Jaden, it was not enough. He was still in control of his soul. Satorius had grabbed the tarot cards to find answers to his problems. He chose 5 cards from the pile, and placed them on the table. 1 card in the middle and the others around it. He turned the cards around. The first one in the middle was ”The fool” card, who represented Jaden. That was nothing new. He turned the other cards around. It was ”the hangman” who represented Chazz, ”the strength” who represented Hassleberry, ”the Queen” who represented Alexis and ”the Pigeon” who represented Syrus. Satorius was smiling. The 4 cards was surrounding ”The fool” card. They were surrounding Jaden and protected him. 

”Ah!” said Satorius to himself ”If I remove his friends, Jaden would be mine!”. He liftede ”The fool” card from the table. Another card appeared and fell towards the floor. Satorius looked surprised at the card. He picked it up. It was ”The shooting star” card. The card had bin stuck on ”the fool card” and was protecting the card from the shadows. 

”The girl!” said Satorius angry ”Tara Yuki is protecting him from the shadows. No wonder my spell didn't work! I need to take care of the girl before she ruins my plans again!”. He grinned evilly. A beam shoots out of Satorius's body and disappeared towards the girl.

Tara's p.o.v.

”Don't touch him! He is mine!” said a cruel voice out of the blue. Tara was looking around to find the voice, and suddenly a bright light appeared, and was surrounding Tara. She had to close her eyes. The light was too bright. When she opened her eyes again, she was not inside the slifer dorm any longer. Tara looked around. It was completly dark in here. A white flashing creature appeared. It looked like a flash light human with yellow eyes and white wings. It's body was completly white. (A,N: Actually looks like a Barion, when Vector approached Dr. faker for the first time. The color is different though.

”Who are you?!” asked Tara. She was a little bit scared, but she didn't want to show it ”And where am I!”. The white creature was laughing. Tara could hear, it was the voice from before and got a little bit more brave. 

”Who am I?!” said the creature in a cruel voice ”I am many things girl! Have many names, but let's just say, I am the light you were blocking in the duel, your brother was playing with Aster!”. Tara looked in horror. 

”Your the voice I heard coming from Aster's deck!” said Tara. Her voice was shaking.

”Thats right!” said the light ”I had a feeling you could hear me! And too answer your second question. We are inside your mind!”. Tara looked confused and shocked. 

”My mind! But my mind are not that dark!” She said angry. 

”Of course it is girl” said the light cold ”Your in coma after all!”. The white monster smiled. Tara didn't know what to do. She wanted this weird creature out of her mind.

”However this is not important right now!” said the light suddenly and grinned ”You are Tara Yuki!”. Tara looked comfused at the monster.

”What do you mean?!” She asked ”Why am I important?! Why are you even inside my mind?! Get out!”. The light grinned and moved closer to Tara. Tara gulped.

”I am inside your mind, because you let me in girl!” said the light with a evil voice. ”And I am not gonna leave. Not when I am so close!”. Tara backed away from the monster. She was scared. The monster moved closer to her.

”What do you mean!” She said in a low voice. The monster heard her and grinned.

”I mean since you were so nice to take the blast for your brother, you enabled me to enter your body!” said the light and laughed. He continued. ”You are gonna be one of my servants, Tara Yuki. Now embrace the light and fulfil your destiny!”. Tara tried to run away, but the human like monster, grabbed her shoulders with it's white hands. White orbs was slowly appearing around Tara and the monster. 

”My brother will stop you!” said Tara brave. She was terrified of the monster ”Just you wait”. The monster laughed. The last orb was placed and closed a cirkel around them. Tara felt the bright light shining again and closed her eyes. 

”Soon you will bring Jaden too me with your free will!” It said and commanded. ”LOOK INTO MY EYES TARA YUKI!”. Tara could not resist and looked into the monsters eyes. She screamed.
