Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was having a duel and it was not a normal duel, but a shadow duel. He was fighting against a stranger who was fighting for the shadow riders. Jaden was in a tight spot, however he had ”Elemental hero wildheart” on the field. He was about to do a direct attack on the stranger with wildheart, when suddenly the strangers body disappeared and a dragon was standing in front of Jaden. The dragon attacked with blue fire, destroyed wildheart and got Jaden's life points down to zero. 

”Jaden, Jaden, help!” could Jaden suddenly hear and saw Chumley and Syrus covered in blue flames and was about to disappear. They looked desperate after Jaden. 

”Sy, Chumley!” screamed Jaden ”I'm coming!”. However Jaden was not going anywhere. A pit of slimy monsters was holding his legs, and slowly began to drag him down towards them. Jaden got a last look on Syrus and Chumley before he was swallowed by the monsters and the darkness. 

”Jaden, Jaden, wake up!” screamed a voice near him. Jaden woke up, screaming, and looked worried and shocked at Syrus. 

”Sy!” said Jaden and then realised that he had bin dreaming. He laid down in the bed again gasping after air and was covered in sweat.

”You were having a bad dream!” Syrus said ”Are you okay Jay!”. Jaden looked at Syrus. He wasn't sure if he was okay. 

”I don't know sy!” He said ”I don't know!”. Jaden gasped after more air and didn't notice that his spirit ”Winged kuriboh” were watching. 

A little time skip. 

Jaden was out to get some fresh air. Syrus and Chumley had fallen asleep again, but Jaden couldn't sleep. He had left the his room without waking up his friends, and were now walking inside the forest. Jaden didn't feel okay at all. He was scared! And right now he needed someone to talk to. He needed his sister! Jaden was about to sent a message from his PDA to Tara, when suddenly he heard something. Jaden hadn't realised that he had walked inside a clearing, however he followed the noises and saw.. his sister! She was having a picnic with Zane while they were looking at the stars, in the middle of the night! The voice he heard was his sister laughing! Jaden smiled. Their relationship had really blossomed after the event with Camula. Jaden was really happy for them, but knew that he couldn't talk to Tara now. He didn't want to spoil his sister's date. He turned around, but unfortunately Jaden stepped on a tree branch! He was swore inside! Tara and Zane turned around and looked at Jaden. 

”Jay what are you doing here!” Tara asked. Jaden was trying to hide his concerned look with a awkward smile. 

”Um nothing! I was just out for a walk and.. yeah, but I was not spying on you, I swear!” Jaden said and tried to explain. Tara and Zane looked at each other.

”Well I don't want to spoil your date, so I will go now!” said Jaden and began walking away. I'm really an idiot, was Jaden thinking. 

”Hold it Jay!” said Tara suddenly. Jaden froze in his tracks. ”And stay there Jaden!”. Jaden looked at his sister. She got up on her feets. The same did Zane. 

”Zane, I am sorry to interrupt our date, but Jaden needs me!” She said. Jaden looked surprised at his sister. She noticed it already?! Jaden could see Zane smile. 

”Sure!” He said and kissed Tara on the forehead ”I understand! I will see you later then!”. Tara nodded and walked towards Jaden. 

”Really Jaden, didn't you think I would notice!” said Tara when they were a little away from the clearing. ”You have a problem right!”. Jaden smiled. 

”What gave me away!” said Jaden. Tara grinned. 

”Your smile!” She said ”And your forehead is sweaty!”. Jaden sighed a little. She knew him to well. They arrived at a big old tree log and chose to sit there. 

”So Jaden, tell me what's wrong!”. Tara said. Jaden smiled and began telling Tara about his dream. Jaden didn't notice that marshmallow was looking at him from a distant too. 

Time skip. The day after.

Tara's p.o.v.

”Oh come on boys!” said Tara while she was waiting outside at the slifer dorm, together with Alexis. Tara could hear some voices mumble at the other side off the door. Tara just smiled. She had talked with Jaden last night. He was afraid of his nightmare, but Tara noticed the real reason! He was afraid of losing! Tara had sighed inside. Jaden was a little bit stressed about the things with the shadow riders. Tara could duel the next opponent, but that wouldn't solve Jaden's fear for long. And that's why she was standing here together with Alexis outside the slifer dorm. She figured that Jaden needed something to relax! And what place would be better than at the islands spa and their hot spring! Lucky for them it was weekend!

”What is taking so long!” Tara almost scream ”If we stay here all day the spa would close on us!”. Tara could see that Alexis was smiling a little. The door to Jaden's room finally opened. The boys were ready with their bags. 

”Sorry it took so long!” said Chumley ”But I couldn't find my towels!”. Alexis and Tara looked at each other and grinned a little. However they didn't say anything. They began walking towards the spa. When they were close at the door, Tara slowly grabbed Chumley. 

”Listen Chumley!” said Tara really serious ”My brother is little on edge today, so if you boys could cheer him a little up, it would be fine. After all I am a girl and me and Alexis are at the girls side!”. Chumley just nodded. 

”I will try making Jaden happy Tara!” said Chumley ”This is going to be a lischus bath.!”. Tara nodded and walked inside the spa at the girls side together with Alexis. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

”Yihar!” screamed Syrus and jumped off the cliff and in the water. ”Ah the water is warm and relaxing!”. Jaden looked at Chumley and the both grinned and followed Syrus. 

”Yeah you are right sy!” said Jaden and relaxed in the water ”This is nice and warm!”. Jaden had a feeling that he could lie in here all day. Jaden looked at the fence that divided the hot spring in boys and girls selection. 

”Hey Tara are you over there!” Jaden asked ”It was a great idea you had!”. 

”Glad you like it!” screamed Tara back ”But it doesn't help us relax if you are screaming all the time!”. Jaden grinned a little awkward. 

”Um yeah sorry about that!” said Jaden a little embarrassed. Jaden was just relaxing in the water now. Chumley and Syrus was right beside him. 

”So Jaden are you over that nightmare yet!” asked Syrus suddenly. Jaden froze. 

”Nice going Syrus!” said Chumley angry at him. Jaden dived under water. No he was not over his stupid dream yet. He couldn't stop thinking about risk if you were gonna lose. Camula got her soul taken, two of her friends turned to dolls and back again. Jaden didn't want to lose! Suddenly he found a towel in the water and grinned a little.

”Hey who's towel is this!” He said when he arrived at the surface. Jaden saw the shock in Syrus's face. Apparently it was his. 

”Hey it is mine!” screamed Syrus and rushed after Jaden. 

”Yours!” said Jaden and grinned ”I thought yours was dry and fresh, this is a wet mess!”. Syrus rushed angry after Jaden in the water. 

”You are gonna mess with me! If you don't give it back!” screamed Syrus but got water splashed in the face by the arrogant little pervert Chazz!. 

”Hey keep it down noisy brat!” said Chazz and he happens to be close to the fence. ”I am trying to listen here!”. Jaden looked a little angry at Chazz.

”I wouldn't do that if I were you!” said Jaden suddenly. Chazz turned around. 

”Why not!” said Chazz angry. However Jaden didn't have to explain himself, when a bucket flew from the other side of the fence and hit Chazz in the head. 

”Chazz your pervert!” screamed the girls on the other side of the fence. 

”Hey brother, keep that pervert away from our fence!” screamed Tara back. 

”Um Chazz!” said Jaden ”My sister has a hunch about perverts, so if you don't want to get hit again, you will have to stay away from her! She can be scary!”. 

”Yeah you heard me Chazz!” screamed Tara. Jaden grinned. Chazz snort. Syrus splashed water in his face, and suddenly they began a water fight. However Jaden passed. Suddenly it turned a little foggy and Jaden could suddenly hear Winged kuriboh. He began to follow him. 

Tara's p.o.v.

On the girls side Alexis and Tara was relaxing in the water. However it was a short peace, because the boys were screaming a lot. Tara sighed, but suddenly she had a feeling and shushed Alexis. She grabbed one of the buckets and tossed it over the tall fence. She could hear it hit something and knew instantly that she had hit Chazz. 

”Sorry lexi!” said Tara ”But Chazz was picking again. Alexis just smiled.

”Um I kind of have something to tell you!” said Alexis and she began to tell Tara a little secret. Tara looked a little shocked.  

”Wait so you have feelings for my brother!” whispered Tara. Alexis nodded. 

”Yeah I know! Who could fall for that stupid idiot!” Alexis said and smiled. Tara grinned a little. However she had noticed Alexis feelings for him. 

”Apparently you!” said Tara and grinned ”But it is my brother you are talking about! And he is as clueless as ever sometimes.. especially with love! So just be yourself! Maybe he would notice!”. Alexis grinned and got up on her feets. Apparently she wants to get up now. Tara however wanted to be in the water a little longer. Suddenly she saw Marshmellow beside her and it wanted her to follow her. Tara did what the spirit said and suddenly she got swallowed by the water. 

Jaden' s p.o.v.

Jaden hit the floor pretty hard. He was in some weird cave. He has just followed ”Winged kuriboh” and now he was suddenly here. Jaden looked up in the sky, and now he needed to move pretty fast. 4 big lights hit the ground in this cave and after the dust cleared he found Tara, Chumley, Chazz and Syrus on the ground in their clothes. Jaden looked at himself. He was also dressed in his normal clothes. 

”Where in the world are we?” asked Chazz. Beside him was Ojama yellow. 

”We must be in some kind of spirit world!” replied Chumley surprised.

”Yeah I think you are right!” said Tara. She also looked surprised. Marshmellow was jumping around in her lap. Syrus was looking for his glasses and got a huge shock when des koala was giving him them. Suddenly Marshmellow joined winged kuriboh and was jumping around Jaden. Jaden looked confused at the spirit.

”Why are jumping around me!” asked Jaden ”That looks bizarre!”. 

”Your the one who looks bizarre!” said a voice suddenly and Jaden and co, turned around. A man in some weird clothes was looking at them. Kuriboh and marshmallow was jumping for joy around him. Jaden looked at him. He looked a little scary.

”It's kaibaman!” said Ojama yellow suddenly. 

”Kaibaman!” screamed Jaden and Tara in unison. 

”Wait as in the duel monster card!” asked Jaden confused ”Wait are you the one who brought us here, and wait is this a new shadow game?!”. Kaiba smirked a little.

”You are asking a lot of questions! But too get some answers you have to duel me!” Kaibaman said and smirked again. Jaden looked angry, but he accepted the duel. 

”I can see that you accepted my challenge, but what is it I sense!” Kaibaman said and grinned a little ”Oh now I know. I sense fear! You are afraid too lose and if you do, your friends would pay most dearly!”. Tara grabbed his hand and Jaden felt a little relieved, however Tara suddenly let go off his hand. 

”Jay this time I am not by your side!” She said and left his side and disappeared into the cave. Jaden looked a little more scared. Kaibaman laughed. 

”So even your sister leaves you, because she knows you will lose!” Kaibaman said ”And with good reason! Because you will face this!”. He showed Jaden the blue eyes white dragon monster card. Jaden looked in horror. 

”It looks like the monster in my nightmare, but I am not backing down now!” Jaden said brave. Kaibaman smiled and the duel began. 

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was hiding inside the cave behind Kaibaman, together with the other duel spirits. However she could see Jaden and Kaibaman's duel. Tara sighed relieved when Jaden still was facing Kaibaman. It was the first time Tara actually wasn't by his side, however she knew that Jaden had to fight all by himself this time. To conquer his fear! Tara had noticed the two spirits behavior when they arrived here. Winged kuriboh and Marshmellow was jumping around Jaden, like they were gonna signal something, and then Kaibaman showed up and challenged Jaden. The two spirit was jumping around kaibaman and looked really happy and Tara figured that Kaibaman was here to help Jaden. However she was not happy that it was kaibaman. There were rumors that Kaibaman was a card, Seto Kaiba had made to resemble himself. Tara didn't like him. Actually she had a little grudge against Kaiba. However the duel began. Jaden summoned ”Bubbleman” to the field and drew two more cards. He then equipped the spell ”Bubble blaster.” to bubbleman. He ended his turn. Tara could see that Jaden was looking at Chumley and Syrus from time to time. He also began to sweat a little. It was Kaibaman's turn. He summoned himself to the field and by using his eff, Kaibaman could summon ”Blue eyes white dragon” to the field. Jaden looked totally scared. Kaibaman attacked. Luckily bubbleman was equipped with ”Bubble blaster” and Jaden didn't take any damage and ”Bubbleman” was not destroyed. It was Jaden's turn again. Jaden only fusion summoned ”Mudballman” in def mode. Kaibaman's turn. He used the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. Kaibaman then used the spell ”Burst stream of destruction” and destroyed Jaden's mudballman. However since kaibaman just used that spell card, his blue eyes could not attack this turn. However Kaibaman made a combo. He first summoned a monster who's eff gave him a ritual monster to his hand. Then he used a ritual spell card and got the monster ”Paladin, the white dragon” on the field. It attacked Jaden. He lost 1900Lp. Kaibaman then sacrificed ”Paladin” to summon his second ”Blue eyes white dragon”. It was now Jaden's turn. However he now has to deal with both blue eyes. Tara felt a little sorry for him. Jaden used the spell ”Monster reincarnation”. He got ”Clayman” back to his hand and sent ”Necroshade” to the grave. By removing ”Necroshade”, Jaden could now summon ”Bladedge” to the field. He then used the field spell card ”Skyscraper” and destroyed one of Kaibaman's dragons. Jaden was jumping for joy. 

”And to think that I was worried I would lose!” said Jaden happy ”I am so over my fear now! The trick is to take what you are scared of and not let it happen!”. Tara facepalmed. He didn't learn anything! Kaibaman just grinned. 

”Anything can happen!” He said ”You think by beating one of my dragons, you have dodged the defeat! Think again!”. Then he was holding a long speech how a duelist should live. Tara didn't listen. She knew it already. Tara could see that Jaden didn't ether. It was kaiba man's turn. He played the spell card ”Silent doom” and got his dragon back from the grave. He then fused all his dragons into one. The ”Blue eyes ultimate dragon”. Jaden looked really scared. 

”The dragon from my dream!” Jaden said. Kaibaman attacked with his monster. However Jaden had a facedown trap card ”Edge hammer”. By sacrificing ”Bladedge”, Jaden could now destroy the blue eyes. Jaden grinned, thinking that he now would win. However Kaibaman had a quick spell card ready. It was ”De-fusion”. He now had three dragon on the field and Jaden's bladedge was gone. The dragons attacked and Jaden lost. Kaibaman laughed like a maniac, like the real seto kaiba would do. Tara sighed a little. She walked out of hiding and walked towards Jaden. He worked scared up and looked at his friends. However they were all alright. The duel monsters were pretty nice to them. 

”Jaden!” screamed Tara and smiled at her brother. Jaden looked confused. 

”Defeat is not something you should be scared off Jaden!” said Kaibaman. He was standing in front of Jaden now. Tara was glaring a little at him. ”What matters is if you can get up afterward!”. Tara was helping Jaden back on his feet. 

”So wait was this a lesson!” Jaden said Confused. Both Tara and Kaibaman nodded.

”So tell me Jaden are you scared now!” Kaibaman asked. Jaden shook his head. Jaden looked at Tara now. 

”Then why did you leave me sis!” said Jaden confused. ”You have always bin by my side in my duel!”. Tara smiled. 

”Well you had to face your fear by yourself!” Tara said ”And in the future, if I'm not by your side physical, then you know that I always will be with you in spirit!”. 

”Oh yeah!” said Jaden and grinned ”I will remember that!”. Tara was looking at kaibaman. He was about to leave. The twins rushed towards him.

”Hey kaibaman!” said Jaden ”Thank you!” Kaibaman smiled. 

”Don't thank me! Thank your spirits, they helped you!” Kaibaman said. Jaden began talking with Kuriboh, however Tara was still looking a little cold at kaibaman. 

”Kaibaman!” whispered Tara ”Can you give a message to the real seto kaiba!”.

”No!” said Kaiba and grinned ”He can't hear duel spirit!”. Tara smiled.

”Then give a message to someone who can, and knows the real kaiba!” Tara said whispering ”Tell Kaiba that I, Tara yuki, haven't forgotten, and that I'm still angry at him!”. 

”I shall try!” said Kaibaman with a cold voice ”But return to your friends and take good care of your brother! You both have a big future in store for you!”. Kaibaman then disappeared. Marshmellow jumped for joy around Tara and jumped up in her arms. They both returned to Jaden and co. Winged kuriboh told them how to get back, and soon they were back at the hotspring. Tara sighed and left the water she was totally beat, but it had bin a interesting adventure.
