Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was walking down the hallways towards the infirmary. She had decided to pay Alexis a visit, and since she was not in her room, Tara figured that she was at the infirmary, beside her brother. Tara walked inside the room and could hear Alexis mumble something. Tara dicided to hide behind a screen in the room.

”Only two shadow rider left!” she mumbled ”But it will mean so much for me if my brother was here beside me!”. Tara sighed. She knew how Alexis felt. If Jaden wasn't by her side, she could never be as brave and hardworking as she was right now. She walked towards Alexis. Tara had decided to cheer her on. 

”So what's up Alexis!” she said. Alexis gave a little shock from her. When she saw it was Tara, she sighed relieved. 

”Oh it's only you Tara!” said Alexis and smiled ”So what's up!”. Tara grinned. 

”I am here to keep you company, and to cheer you on!” Tara said and smiled. 

”Oh!” said Alexis ”I appreciate it! It is so dark in here right now!”. Tara smiled. 

”I think it's because a storm is coming!” Tara said, and as soon she had said that a big thunder roared in the sky. Tara sighed. Alexis grinned a sad smile. 

”I wish Atticus was here!” Alexis said ”Like the old days!”. Tara was about to say something, when she heard a dark voice say:

”You miss him right!” It said ”There is a way to get him back!”. Alexis eyes looked distant for a moment and she stood up. Tara looked confused. She turned around and saw a black portal kind of thing. A man was about to enter. Tara had seen him before. It was that fake shadow duelist who had dueled Jaden ones. Alexis was about to walk over to him. Tara grabbed Alexis's hand and she stopped up. Tara could hear her say Atticus's name. Tara looked angry at the man. 

”What did you do to Alexis!” Tara asked angry. The man grinned. 

”Nothing!” The man said ”We were about to have a duel, thats all! So give up the girl!”. However Tara didn't move a inch. The man sighed. He created a little ball of darkness and tossed it at Tara, and even through it was small, it was fast and powerful. It hit Tara in the stomach and she flew back in the room, and hit the wall. Tara groaned in pain and fell to the ground. The last thing she saw, was Alexis leaving with the man. Then she passed out!

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was sleeping in his room together with his two friends. It was night! However he woke up when Winged Kuriboh was appearing beside him. 

”Hm what's up Kuriboh!” He said groggy. Suddenly someone was slamming on the door. Chumley opened the door and screamed. He looked like he seen a Ghost. Jaden looked and saw a really stressed Chazz at the door. 

”Chazz what's with you!” Jaden asked confused and stood up from his bed.

”No sleep!” said Chazz ”I have some really bad news! Alexis and Tara is gone!”. Jaden looked shocked. So did Syrus and Chumley.

”But why!” asked Syrus confused. Chazz sighed. 

”We think a new Shadow rider is at work here!” He said. ”Come on guys! We need more hands to cover some grounds!”. Jaden nodded and they all got dressed, and rushed out in the storm too look for them.

”Did you find them!” asked Jaden, Dr. Crowler and Zane. They all were assembled in the hallway of the school. It thundered outside and lightning balls was showed in the sky. Zane and Crowler both shook their heads. 

”No!” said Crowler and sighed ”But it is strange, Alexis and your sister are not someone who vanish just like that!”. The others agreed. 

”Zane! Your my sisters boyfriend! Has she told you anything! Where she was going today!” Jaden asked. Zane shook his head. 

”No she hasn't talked to me!” Zane said ”What about you Jaden, she is your twin!”. Jaden grinned. He actually had a feeling were Tara would be, if she wasn't with Zane. 

”If she is not with you Zane, Tara must be with Alexis, and where would Alexis go!” said Jaden really analysis. ”Let's rush to the infirmary!”. The other nodded and rushed after Jaden towards the infirmary. When they arrived. They found Atticus still sleeping, however Tara was lying on the floor, unconscious. Jaden rushed over to her. 

”Tara! Tara!” He scream. She slowly opened her eyes. Jaden took her hand. It was shaking! What in the world happened in here?!

”Jaden!” Tara said and groaned in pain. ”Jaden! Alexis! The charlatan man you dueled ones! He is back! Has Alexis... the abandon dorm!”. Tara groaned in pain again. She was holding her hand at her stomach. However Jaden looked at Tara and nodded. He took her up in his arms and placed her in a bed near Atticus.

”Stay here Tara!” Jaden said ”We will be back with Alexis!”. Tara nodded. Jaden and co. rushed towards the abandon dorm.

”I think I can see some light!” said Jaden and rushed towards it. They were inside the abandon dorm. They walked down some hallways and found Alexis. She was at the same spot where Jaden had dueled The charlatan before. 

”Alexis!” screamed Jaden and she looked at them. ”Is he a new shadow rider!”. 

”Jaden!” She screamed and smiled ”Yeah he is! And when I win he will restore Atticus's memory!”. The man laughed. 

”If you win!” He said ”My name is Titan, and if you lose dear! Then I will take your soul back to the shadow realm with me!”. Jaden looked a little scared. Alexis nodded. 

”Let's duel!” She scream. They other looked at the duel who was about to begin. 

Alexis's p.o.v.

Alexis was happy that her friends was with her. Especially Jaden! However she also wished that Atticus was with her. Alexis sighed a little and took her deck inside the duel disk. Soon, she was thinking, soon Atticus you gonna be by my side. She activated her duel disk and the duel began.  

Alexis: 4000lp.

Titan: 4000lp. 

Titan started off with the first move. He summoned his ”Picador fiend” in att mode. He then placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Alexis turn. She summoned ”Cyber tutu” in att mode and was about to attack him, when she remembered his facedown card. She equipped the spell ”Allegro Toile” to Cyber tutu, and destroyed Titan's facedown card. She then attacked him directly. Titan lost 1000 lp's. Alexis tossed down a facedown card and ended his turn. Titan's turn. He drew and attacked with his monster. However Alexis was ready and used her trap ”Doble Passe”, and took 1600 point of direct damage. However now could Cyber tutu attack Titan directly. He lost 1000 points again. Titan suddenly laughed a little. He activated a ritual spell called ”Ritual of the matador”. By sacrificing a lv 6 monster or higher, he could now summon ”Matador fiend” to field. Alexis looked at his monster. It had zero att. Titan laughed again. He played a field spell called ”Dark arena”. It covered the field in darkness. Alexis suddenly had a hard time seeing his monsters and Titan for that matter. However it was her turn. She could hear Titan laugh. 

”Ha, Ha it is fitting for a shadow duel, to duel in the shadows!” He said ”But maybe I should tell you that because you can't see, every monster in att mode, must attack, and since you can't see your monster, I can chose their targets!”. Alexis sneered. 

”Well fine! Then I will have to summon a monster who really packs a punch!” Alexis said and fusion summoned two monster's from her hand, to summon ”Cyber Blader ” to the field. Cyber blader's eff can change. It depents of the opponents monsters, and since Titan has two, Cyber blader's att was doubled. (4200 att) She attacked Titan, and he chose his monster ”Matador fiend”. Alexis thought she had the upper hand, but because of Titan's monster eff, Alexis's monster was destroyed. Then Titan's other monster and Alexis's Cyber tutu had to battle too. It also got destroyed. Alexis summoned ”Cyber gymnast” in def mode and ended her turn. Titan began telling her a long story about how he was lost in the darkness after the duel with Jaden. Alexis was half listening. She didn't really care. 

”So you see my dear!” Titan said and pointed at his Shadow charm on his forehead ”You can't beat me! I am more powerful than ever!”. Alexis just snort. 

”Yeah and uglier!” Alexis said ”But the reason for dueling is not to get power. It is the reason why you are dueling that counts!”. Titan was just laughing. Saying that his brother entered the shadows only to get power. Alexis didn't believe him. Titan just shrugged and attacked directly with his ”Picador fiend”. Alexis only had 200 lp's left. She fell down on her knees. Titan then summoned another monster called ”Banderillero Fiend” and used it's eff and destroyed Alexis only monster. In the next round, she would be finished. Alexis lost hope and fell to the ground. She had given up. 

Tara's p.o.v.

”Alexis!” Tara scream and woke up all sweaty in the hospital bed. She had just dreamed about Alexis and the duel. She placed her hand on her forehead. Was that a dream? She thought. However then she heard the screams inside her head. No, this couldn't be a dream. She hurried out of the bed and groaned in pain. That attack from Titan had broken a lot of her ribs, and it was only the will that made her walk. However it was really slowly. Tara looked at the bed beside her. Atticus was mumbling something in his sleep, and his sisters name got mentioned a lot of times. Tara remembered Alexis's words from before. She had wished that Atticus was by her side. However she wished that she could see the duel or at least do something for Alexis. Suddenly Tara heard a voice talking out of the blue. 

”Do you wish to see her!” The voice said ”Do you wish to do something for her!”. Tara didn't see any. There were no one around, however she knew her answer. 

”Yes I do! She is my friend!” Tara screamed back. She could hear the voice laugh a little. Tara got goosebumps! 

”And do you want to anything for that!” the voice said. Tara hessitated. Then she shook her head. She would do almost everything, but only almost. 

”I don't want to hurt my friends or duel for the shadows!” She said really loud ”But yes then I would do everything!”. The voice laughed. Suddenly lit a green book up on the table beside Tara's bed. Tara was sure it wasn't there a minute ago. 

”Then use this book! It will tell you what to do!” The voice said and laughed ”I will take the payment from you later on!”. The voice disappeared. Tara walked slowly over to the book, and when she touched it, she felt a lot of knowledge inside her head. Without knowing how, she had created a picture inside the room. She could see Alexis duel Titan. She also saw Alexis lose her will to fight and fell to the ground. 

”Alexis!” screamed Tara, but she couldn't hear her. Tara touched the picture. It was moving around, like when you touch a pudding. She also instanly knew it could be used as a portal, but it could only be used ones. Maybe it was the knowledge from the book. Tara looked at Atticus now, and then back at the portal picture. Alexis needed help, but the one she really needed was Atticus. Tara walked over to his bed and tried walking up Atticus. 

”Atticus, Atticus!” She scream and shook him like hell ”Wake up! Wake up, your sister needs you! Alexis needs you!”. After some time screaming, Atticus almost flew up from the bed. He looked tired and weak. His body was shaking, but at least he was awake. He looked at Tara!

”Alexis!” He asked confused ”Where is my sister?!”. Tara pointed at the picture. Atticus looked confused at her. Tara helped him on his feet. 

”How?!” He asked ”How did you make a portal!”. Tara shrugged. 

”I am not sure!” She asked ”But more importantly, Alexis needs you! Understand!”. 

”Lexi!” He said and walked on his shaking legs over to the portal. Tara was supporting him as good as she could, and in the end she got Atticus through the portal. The portal closed as soon as Atticus walked through it! Tara sighed. Now there were nothing she could do. She walked over to the bed towards the table and the green book, but when she looked at the table, the book had disappeared. Tara also had a feeling, that the knowlegde from the book also was disappeared from her mind. Tara sighed and placed herself inside the bed. She needed to relax. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden and company was standing outside of the dark sphere. They were really worried. They haven't heard or seen Alexis for a while now. 

”She is alright right!” Syrus asked. The others shrugged. 

”Of course she is!” said Jaden ”I believe in her!”. The others mumbled a bit. 

”But maybe we should go inside to check on her!” said Crowler ”Someone should go in there! Other than me that is!”. Jaden was about to say something, when suddenly they could hear someone scream. Suddenly out of the blue, Atticus appeared out of the thin air. He was standing in front of Jaden and Zane. 

”Alexis!” He scream and was trying to approach her and the sphere. However his legs were shaking. Jaden and Zane grabbed one of Atticus's arms and placed it around their necks. Atticus was still trying to reach the sphere, with his hands. 

”Lexi! Sis! Don't give up!” He scream. Jaden and co. looked confused at Atticus. 

”Atticus! Your not well yet!” Jaden said and sighed ”How in the world did you get in here, in the first place!”. Atticus stopped his attempt and looked at them. 

”Jaden, your sister sent me!” He said. Jaden and co. looked confused. ”She made a portal in some way and sent me over here! She said I was the only one who could help Alexis!”. Jaden formed a ”0”. He understood his sisters plan! He was about to scream something to Alexis too, when suddenly a bright light was appearing around the dark sphere, and it disappeared. Jaden saw that Alexis was still standing. She had 200 lp's left and had her monster ”Cyber blader” on the field. Jaden and co smiled. 

”Lexi!” Atticus scream. Jaden saw her turning around towards Atticus and she looked surprised, but also happy. 

”Atticus!” She scream ”It is really you!”. Atticus smiled back.

”Win sis!” He said. Alexis nodded and continued the duel. Cyber blader eff was activated. Jaden had a feeling, it was also that eff, who cancelled out the dark sphere. Alexis negated all Titan's monsters special eff, and attacked his ”Matador fiend”. Titan lost the duel. Suddenly a horde of ogly monsters were surrounding him. Jaden had seen these monsters before. It was these creatures who appeared that time, when Jaden was dueling Titan. A little bit after Titan was gone! Jaden and co walked out of the abandom dorm. The sun was about to rise. Atticus was having it better. He could walk now. Maybe it was because of that deal Alexis made with Titan, Jaden thought. The sibilings embraced each other and were looking at each other. Jaden felt happy for them. With reminded him, that he has to take care of Tara soon. 

”Atti!” Alexis said and smiled. She hugged him again. 

”Lexi!” Atticus replied. He also hugged her again. Jaden and co. just smiled. 

”Atti!” said Alexis and sighed ”There is so many unfinished questions! Like why you became a shadow rider! Titan said it was for the power!”. Atticus shook his head. 

”Believe me Lexi! I would never do it for power!”. He said and began telling his story. That he was lured inside this dorm, together with some others, but when they arrived, the same ogly creatures who took Titan, was waiting for them. Atticus tells them, that he was kept in the shadow realm, until he was brainwashed and became the person called ”Nightshroud”. Jaden and the others looked surprised. 

”But who brainwashed you!” Alexis asked. Atticus shook his head. 

”I never figured it out!” He said and sighed ”However the one who lured us in to the abandom dorm! It was professor Banner!”. Jaden and the others looked in horror. 

”Wait you mean our Banner!” Jaden asked confused. Atticus nodded. ”He is in on this!”. Jaden couldn't believe it! However at least Alexis and Atticus were together again. That's what matters right now! However Jaden knew that some day he will find the truth. He just knew it!
