Tara's p.o.v.

A couple of days has passed since the selection. Tara and Jaden was at the duel field. Jaden was totally pumped for the upcoming match against North academy. He was summoning all of his monsters on his dueling disk. He was ready for anything. His sister Tara, was sitting on the tribune, and was reading a book. She liked to study and now she also could have a close eye on Jaden. He was to excited for his own good. Suddenly Syrus rushed into the arena. He looked tired and beat. Tara had a feeling that he had been looking for Jaden, and a little bit later she was right.

”Jaden what are you doing? I have been looking all over for you” He said. A little bit after he waved at Tara ”Oh and hi Tara”. Tara waved back at him and closed her book. She placed it inside her rucksack and walked towards the two boys. 

”Hey Syrus” Said Jaden ”Why have you been looking for me?”. Syrus sighed a little. 

”The meeting assembled at the harbor” said Syrus ”North academy has arrived and so has your opponent”. 

”What?!” said both twins in unison. Tara looked furious. She hated being late.

”Well what are we waiting for” She yelled and grabbed Jaden. Jaden had grabbed Syrus and they all began running. Syrus was screaming from the back line. 

”No, not this again!”.

At the harbor.

Tara, Jaden and Syrus had just arrived at the harbor. They saw the two chancellor's greet each other, and before Tara could do anything, Jaden had gotten out of her grip and rushed towards the chancellor's. This could not end well, thought Tara. She looked at the beat up Syrus, who was lying on the ground, gasping after air. 

”One... day... you two... are going...to kill me” He said while gasping after air. Tara felt a little guilty. 

”Um sorry” She said ”But I didn't grab you. Jaden did”. Syrus just looked at her.

”Yeah, he grabbed me, but you started the running, but never mind” He said ”Just go over to Jaden, before he does something stupid”. Tara nodded and walked towards Jaden. He was again too excited to met his opponent. Tara could hear him say.

”Hi, how your doing? How about we just skip the greetings and tell me who my opponent is?”. Tara sighed. It was to late to stop him now. 

”Yeah Jaden, we were getting to that” said Chancellor Shepard. Jaden smiled.

”Great, then I will be waiting right here until you get to it” Jaden said. Tara sighed. Didn't he really have any manners at all, Tara thought, and was now standing beside her brother. She hit him on the head. 

”Jaden. Be nice. At least let the north academy students set foots on the harbor, before you assault them”.

Jaden looked angry at her, because she had hit him on the head, but he didn't say anything now. The North academy chancellor was laughing at them. Tara blushed a little. Jaden had embarrassed them in front of the whole school. 

”So you are the Yuki twin's I have heard so much about” said NA chancellor and now looked at Jaden ”And you must be Jaden, the duel academy's phenom”. 

”Phenom!” Jaden uttered excitedly ”That's the coolest thing I ever have been called. What does it mean?”. The NA chancellor fell to the floor in Anime fall down style. Tara face palmed. Jaden couldn't be that stupid, could he?,Tara thought. 

”Jaden, he thinks you are an really talented duelist” explained Tara. 

”Oh That's cool!” said Jaden and was jumping really excited around ”So come on. When will I met my opponent?”. Tara face palmed again. He was an idiot.

”Right now slacker” said a voice suddenly. Tara and Jaden turned towards it. Tara was sure she had heard it before. They saw Chazz standing on the submarine. 

”Wow isn't that Chazz?” said Jaden. His voice sounded a little angry. Tara placed a hand on his shoulder and shook her head. A little bit after Jaden calmed down. 

”Why are you here?” Jaden asked curious. 

”Well I am here for the duel”. Chazz said. Tara looked surprised. She had already figured it out, but Jaden on the other hand hadn't.

”I think I has been sold out” Began Jaden, but Chazz interrupted. 

”I am in it!” He said. Jaden was still clueless.

”You mean as a referee?” Jaden said. Tara sighed. Chazz looked a little angry.

”NO! AS IN DUELING YOU! You said that if want revenge, then I should try dueling!” screamed Chazz back at him ”So here I am”. Tara looked at her brother. Did he really say that? Jaden was patting his own hair.

”Yeah. I guess I said that” Jaden said ”And I will gladly accept, but why did you transfer to North academy? You could just have asked me for a rematch Chazz”. Tara saw that Chazz was looking at her for a moment. Wait, thought Tara, is he guilty because he locked me up in the storage room? Chazz looked away again.

”For no special reason” Chazz said ”I transferred because I didn't get the respect I deserved”.

There were fire in Jaden's and Chazz's eyes now. However suddenly two big helicopter appeared. Two men in suits had arrived together with a camera team. Tara found out that these to men were Chazz's big brothers. She didn't like them at all. They had this evil brother feeling over them. She had a feeling that they weren't always nice to Chazz. The two brothers told Chazz and the rest of the school, that this duel were going to be sent worldwide via television. Jaden flipped totally out. He was going to be in television. Tara were also blushing. She didn't brush her hair this morning. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was running through the hallway. He was rushing towards the boys bathroom. 

”Shit! If had known I would have been on tv, I would have taken a shower this morning” He yelled. He had just arrived at the door to the boys bathroom, when suddenly he heard someone talking in there. 

”Come on Chazz. You can do it. You can show them that you will win, that you can win. That you are a Princeton, not a slacker”.

Jaden was about to walk in there, when suddenly someone grabbed him from behind, and covered his mouth. Hiding inside the shadows were Tara standing, and she was giving a sign to Jaden that he should be quiet. Jaden nodded and Tara released him. 

”Why did you do that for sis?” whispered Jaden ”You heard him. It was Chazz and he sounded sad. Why did you stop me from going in there?”. 

”How will you feel if your opponent felt pity for you just before a match” She whispered a little louder than Jaden ”I will feel awful and even if he wins the duel, he will properly think you went easy on him”. Jaden sighed a little.

”But we can't leave him like that. He sounded so sad sis” Jaden said. 

”I know. I will go talk to him and you will attend to the match” Tara said and smiled. ”Duel like you always do, and make sure to win. I have a plan”. Jaden nodded. He fully trusted his sister. A little bit after, he left towards the arena. 

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara waited til Jaden was gone, before she knocked on the door. It all went quiet in there. Tara waited a few minutes before she walked inside. Chazz was standing up, and pretended, that he was looking at his face, in the mirror. When he saw Tara appear in here, he looked angry. 

”Hey look this is the boys bathroom sweety so get lost” He sneered. Tara didn't move at all. She looked at Chazz. He looked normal at first, but Tara noticed that he had clenched his fists and he was shaking. She walked a little closer to him.

”Listen Chazz I heard you from a moment ago. I have been following you and your so called brothers the whole day” She said cold ”So quit acting and tell me what's wrong?”. Chazz looked surprised at her. A little bit after, he got angry at her. 

”How dare you! Eavesdropping it.. it is wrong!” He then yelled. 

”Listen Chazz, I really don't care about your past life. I don't care about your brothers our there stupid plans, but what I do care about, is your present and maybe future” said Tara cold again. Chazz looked surprised and confused at her. Tara sighed.  

”I don't like the sadness and pressure your brothers are putting on you. But I can't force you to do anything Chazz” Tara said and continued ”Only you can chose your path. I only have one question through...”. Chazz snort a little.

”And what is that stupid sister of Jaden?” Chazz asked. Tara shrugged a little. 

”What deck you are gonna use?” Tara said and smiled ”And hey don't tell me, show it at the duel. But remember only you can chose your own happiness”. Tara turned around and began walking out of here. She had just left the room, when she heard Chazz say her name. 

”What?” She yelled and looked inside the room. Chazz looked at her.

”Um I am sorry Tara for locking you up in the storage room” He said mumbling.

”I forgive you Chazz, and my brother does too” Tara said and smiled ”But that doesn't mean we are best friends now. And don't worry, I will not tell him our little conversation”. Chazz smiled and grinned a little, and Tara left the room for good. This was going to be an interesting match. She just knew it. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden was waiting at the duel field. He was looking after Chazz and Tara. The match was about to begin. However a little bit after Chazz entered the arena with his pals from NA. They were holding his duel disk and deck. Jaden could hear the whole NA students scream ”Chazz it up” all the time. However Tara didn't show. 

”So how are you feeling?” asked Syrus, Jaden. ”To fight against your nemesis?”. Jaden shrugged a little. Syrus and Chumley looked a little worried at him.

”I am feeling okay” said Jaden ”I am just a little sad. I heard Chazz say some stuff and well I don't want any of us to lose”.

Syrus and Chumley looked confused. The chancellor asked Dr. Crowler to introduce the student. He introduced Jaden, but Chazz want's to introduce himself. It was speech about how much he had changed. All the students from NA was again screaming ”Chazz it up” and the duel began. 

Chazz: 4000 LP.

Jaden: 4000 LP.

Chazz started off by summoning ”Masked dragon” in def mode. Jaden's turn. He summoned ”Burstinatrix” in att mode and attacked Chazz's dragon, but because he did, Chazz could now summon ”Armed dragon Lv 3” from his deck. (Gonna call armed dragon, AD from now on) Jaden placed a facedown card and ended his turn. He was pretty excited and couldn't wait to see what Chazz's monster could do. He used his AD special eff and summoned AD lv 5 to the field. Jaden used his ”hero ring” on his monster, but it didn't stop Chazz's monster's eff. By sending a monster to the grave Chazz could destroy one monster one Jaden's field. Jaden was wide open for a direct attack. He got slammed by 2500 points of damage, and Jaden got slammed to the ground. Jaden was grinning and got back up on his feats. He was having a blast. Jaden summoned ”Bubbleman” and because of its eff, he could draw 2 more cards. He then fusion summoned ”Tempest” and destroys Chazz's monster. However it was not gone for good. Chazz used the trap ”Call of haunted” got ”AD lv 5” back from the grave. Jaden placed a facedown and it was Chazz's turn again. Chazz used his dragon's eff again and would have destroyed ”tempest” if it wasn't for Jaden's facedown card ”De-fusion”. He got his three elemental heroes back in def mode. However Chazz attacked him and he lost ”Sparkman”. Chazz then evolved his ”AD lv 5” to ”AD lv 7”. Jaden was totally excited. He was jumping up and down on the field, and was asking Chazz if wanted to trade. Chazz looked angry at him. He totally flipped and said ”That he had a plan, and deserved to win because of his duty”. Jaden just looked confused at him and began his turn. Jaden summoned ”Wroughtweiler” in def mode and placed down a facedown. It was Chazz's turn again. He used his new dragon's special ability. By discarding a monster from his hand, all Jaden's monster got destroyed. Jaden however got one elemental hero and ”Polymerization” back from the grave. Chazz was about to attack him. Jaden played his trap ”Hero spirit” and he took no damage in this round. It was his turn. Jaden drew. He could hear the voice of his partner ”Winged Kuriboh”. Jaden smiled and placed him in def mode on the field. Suddenly a yellow duel spirit appeared on the field. It was ”Yellow ojama”. Kuriboh appeared on Jaden's shoulder and was pointing towards Chazz. Jaden looked at Chazz and saw his duel spirit.

”Hey Chazz” said Jaden curious ”Who is your little friend there?”. Chazz looked angry at ”Ojama yellow” and he was jumping around, trying to get ride off it. Suddenly another duel spirit appeared on the dueling field, and of cause Chazz and Jaden was the only one who could see it, but Jaden knew who it was. It was marshmallow. Tara's duel spirit. 

Tara p.o.v.

Tara was standing the top floor and had seen the whole duel. When Chazz's little spirit appeared, Tara's Marshmallow was really eager to meet this new spirit. So Tara let it go down to the duel field. It had original being Tara's plan to wait up there, because she didn't want to disturb the duel and because it was to crowded in here. However because Marshmallow had appeared on the field, Jaden was now looking around in the Crowd to find her. He was waving a little at her, when he found her. Tara pointed at him and the duel and Jaden understood. He continued the duel. Tara saw Chazz attack ”Winged kuriboh”. Jaden was in a tight spot right now. 

”Why are you standing up here all by yourself?” said a voice suddenly.

Tara turned around and saw Zane standing beside her. Tara sighed relieved. She did get a little frightened. Tara saw Jaden use a spell card ”Special hurricane” and destroyed Chazz's dragon. He then summoned ”Wildheart” and attacked Chazz directly. He got sent flying. Tara saw these two brothers of Chazz getting pretty mad. 

”Well that did go well for Jaden” said Zane a little bit after. Tara nodded.

”Yeah. I am standing up here Zane because it is to crowded down there” Said Tara and smiled at Zane. He smiled back at her. 

”Because of you claustrophobia right?” said Zane concerned. ”You are gonna tell me if you are gonna be sick right?”. Tara nodded. 

”Of course” She said and smiled ”You know me to well Zane”.

They watched the rest of the duel together. Chazz had used a spell to get both of his ”AD lv 5 and 7” back from his grave and into his deck. He then summoned another ”AD lv 3” from his hand in def mode and one facedown. Tara looked at Chazz. He looked kind of stressed. Tara saw him looking at his brothers over and over. Even Jaden had realized this. That Chazz's two brother's was putting to much pressure on him. Tara looked at Zane and smiled a little. 

”When this duel is finished I need your help Zane” Tara said. Zane had a confused look on his face. 

”Sure, But what for?” He asked.

Tara were silent for a moment. She saw Jaden attack Chazz's dragon, however Chazz used his trap and special summoned his ”AD lv 5”. However Jaden could also special summon a monster. He choose ”Hero kid” and because it was special summoned, Jaden could now summon two more from his deck. Jaden trowed down a facedown card and ended his turn. 

”Ah sorry Zane”said Tara suddenly ”I got distracted by the duel”.

”Ah It's okay. It is a really excited match. But for what reason do you need my help?”  He asked again. Tara smiled. He was a really good friend. 

”Well after the match, can you stand by my side, when I am approaching the duel field? ” She asked ”I need to be there, when Jaden wins!”. Zane smiled. 

”Of course” He said and continued ”So you think Jaden is going to win? ”.

Tara nodded. The duel continued. Chazz's turn and he used the spell ”Level up” and got his ”AD lv 7” on the field. He then used an equip spell card and used it on his dragon. He attacked and destroyed Jaden's ”Wildheart”. Jaden only had 300 lp left. Because Chazz's dragon destroyed a monster, he got a new monster back from the grave. He discarded it to use his dragon's eff, and destroyed every monster on Jaden's field. Chazz was laughing pretty loud, thinking that this duel was over. He was totally wrong. Jaden fusion summoned ”Flame wingman”, used his trap ”Miracle kid” and Chazz's dragon lost 1200 att points. Jaden attacked and won the duel. Tara nodded towards Zane, and they both walked towards the duel field. 

They both arrived at the field. Chazz was getting scolded by his brothers. One of them also grabbed Chazz and were yelling at him. 

”Do you know how much we spent on this duel Chazz?” He screamed ”The TV, the rare card. The cards you didn't even use as I recall it”. 

”I am sorry. Give me another chance” begged Chazz ”I thought I could win with my own cards, by myself”. His two brothers both began screaming even more. 

”By yourself!” they yelled ”When were the last time you could do anything by yourself. You are a disgrace for our family and no longer a brother of ours”. 

”Hey stop it! You two jerks!” yelled the Twins in unison again ”And let him go!”. The two brothers of Chazz turned around and looked at the twins and there friends, who was standing in the back. 

”Jerks! Do you know who you are talking to?” said one of them. 

”Yeah” said Tara cold ”Two mean old brothers, who treat there little brother pretty badly just because he lost”. Jaden high five her. The two brothers looked angry at them. They let go of Chazz.

”Why are you all even defending Chazz anyway?” Said the other brother ”He is a nobody. A loser who got beat”. 

”Wrong” said Tara cold ”There was a fight he won. The fight against you too. Chazz choose to duel with his own cards. Not the ones you had bought, but his own. You and Jaden both won here”. The brothers looked angry at them.

”You are just saying that” said Chazz suddenly ”You are just saying that because you want me to feel better. No one thinks that I have won anything”.

However suddenly the whole school was cheering on Chazz and all of them was screaming his favorite quote ”Chazz it up!”. The two Brothers disappeared. Tara looked at Zane. She didn't feel so good. Zane saw the pain on her face and grabbed one of her arms and rushed out of there. Tara took a last look at Chazz. She hoped that he now was freed from his two brothers burden. Now he could return being her enemy again.

Later on at the Harbor.

”We will miss you Chazz” said Jaden. Tara smiled at her brother. Jaden really saw Chazz as a friend now. Chazz shook his head. 

”Jaden, Tara, everyone. I am gonna stay here” said Chazz and turned towards the NA students. ”I am sorry guys, but this place has always been my family”. We all looked surprised at Chazz. Both them from duel academy and NA. 

”If that's okay with Chancellor Shepard that is” said Chazz. Shepard agreed. The group from NA began to leave in there submarine. They all scream ”Chazz it up!”.

”There is just one thing Chazz” said Chancellor Shepard suddenly. 

”What is it?” said Chazz a little bit grumpy. 

”Well since you actually left for the NA. You will have to start at the bottom, Banner” said chancellor Shepard. Banner approached Chazz.

”Welcome too the slifer red dorm” He said. Chazz looked horrified. 

”Wha... I am beginning as Slifer. No wait, NA. I want to go back with you!” screamed Chazz, but the submarine was already out of sight. Jaden grinned.

”What about we give him the slifer cheer?” He said and they all began singing. Tara laughed a little at Chazz. He didn't want this. 

”Hey sis” said Jaden. He approached her. ”Have you told Zane yet?”. Tara blushed. 

”Go away Jaden. You are annoying” She said. Jaden grinned again.

”You are forgetting something. It was my wish. You should tell Zane your feelings right?”. Jaden said ”And you only have 13 days left”. Tara looked angry at him and began chasing him around the harbor. Jaden only laughed and began running. 

A,N: If you were wondering why I didn't call Chazz's two brother by there name in this chapter, then I will tell you my reason. It was out of respect for Chazz, even through he is not my favorite character. His two brothers, Slade and Jagger, do not deserve to be called by there names in this chapter, because nobody should treat there siblings in this way.
