Normal P.O.V

It was a normal day at Duel Academy. Many things had happened. Jaden and Syrus had won their Tag Duel against the Paradox Brothers. It had not been an easy win, but with a combination with Syrus's Power Bond card and Jaden's Elemental HERO Tempest, they won. Chumley's father had also been visiting and was trying to take Chumley home, but Chumley duelled him and made his father change his mind. Every thing was as it should be now. However..

Tara P.O.V

"Come on, Tara, you can do it!" screamed Jaden and was cheering from the sideline. They were having a PE lesson with a nice practice session of baseball. Tara was the batter on the team, together with Jaden.

"Hey, of course I can!" Tara yelled back at him. "Come on, Bastion, send it flying! I am ready!" Bastion was the pitcher from the other team and he smirked slyly at Tara.

"I'm sure you are" Bastion said and tossed the ball with all his might.

"Strike one!" said the judge and Tara bit herself on the inside of her cheek.

Okay, Bastion was good, she thought. Tara tried again and another "Strike". Tara trainee her determined eyes on Bastion. Bastion was throwing again and Tara hit the ball. It flew and it was a home run. Bastion looked impressed at Tara.

"Not bad. But what do you expect from a former Ra yellow?" he said, a little bit of pride in his voice. Tara was just smiling. It was Jaden's turn. He looked excited at Bastion.

"Give me your best shot, Bastion!" Jaden spoke loudly.

"Oh, you can count on it!" said Bastion, getting ready to throw the ball again.

Tara sighed. She had a feeling that this was gonna turn out to be some stupid rival between Jaden and Bastion. Bastion striked Jaden down. Tara sighed. She was right! Jaden was there teams pitcher, but Jaden hardly didn't bother tossing the ball correctly. Until Bastion came that is. Tara sighed again. Her brother was so stupid. Jaden had fire in his eyes when it was Bastions turn, and he tossed a ball with all his might, and Bastion hit it and -

Tara yelped in alarm. Bastion had accidentally slammed the ball into Dr. Crowlers face, who happened to have been passing through the court.

Tara, Jaden, Syrus and Bastion was approaching Dr. Crowler. And to say that he was mad was an understatement.

"How dare you!" he screeched at Jaden and Syrus. He didn't say anything to Tara or Bastion. "You ruined my face!"

"I'm sorry, Dr. Crowler, I was the one who hit the ball," Bastion spoke out. Dr. Crowler looked at Bastion for a moment and suddenly he changed his attitude.

"Oh no, Bastion, it's not your fault at all" said Crowler with a sweet voice.

Tara had a feeling that she should throw up, and made a funny face at Dr. Crowler, without him noticing it. Jaden and Syrus was laughing. Dr. Crowler looked angry at them.

"What are you standing here for?!" he screamed. "Move, go away" Tara, Jaden and Syrus left the place.

Later on at the Ra Yellow dorm...

"I know that hit was only pure luck Bastion" said Jaden. The group was on the way to the Ra Yellow dorm. Bastion had invited them. Tara sighed at her brother, wishing that he learned to give it a rest.

"It wasn't luck at all" said Tara. Syrus and Jaden looked at her.

"What the-? Hold on, how do you know?" Jaden asked.

"Well, I lived in Ra Yellow before, you know," said Tara and smiled. "And knowing Bastion, he had everything all formulated before the match."

"Thank you, Tara," Bastion said. "And I can tell you why I could hit that ball. I calculated it with one of my formulas"

Jaden and Syrus looked confused. Tara sighed. Man, how dense can they get?

"When you see his room, you'll understand," said Tara and with a knowing smile.

"We're here" said Bastion and opened the door to his room. Jaden and Syrus couldn't stop looking around. Tara could see that they were suprised and stunned. There were formulas everywhere. On the floor, on the walls and on the ceilings too.

"Welcome to my room, as well as my lab" Bastion announced with his arms outstretched.

"Okay, that's a lot of formulas," said Jaden, turning in circles as he glanced at all the calculations and formulas.

Syrus gasped too. "So you're calculating everything in life"

"Yeah, that right," Bastion confirmed, pointing to each section of his room. "This area is for traps; this for spells and.."

Tara walked a little away from the others and placed herself on Bastions bed. Bastion was beginning with one of his lectures and Tara didn't want to hear it. She felt bummed out. Suddenly Jaden was looking at her. He was standing beside the bed with a worried look on his face.

"Hey. What's wrong sis? You don't look too good. Is there something wrong?" he asked.

Tara looked at her brother and sighed. She was still being bothered by Mindy and Jasmine. The other day, when she returned home, Tara's room was completely wrecked and ruined. Everything that could get destroyed, was destroyed (of course not the windows). Tara was also beginning to avoid Alexis, since she kind of was the problem here, but she couldn't avoid Alexis at school and she was so easy to talk to...and Mindy and Jasmine was still torturing her. Tara got up on her feet.

"There's nothing wrong," she told her brother. Jaden still looked confused at her.

"Alright, I know something is wrong. Even I can tell that there is. But, if you don't want to tell me, then I'll leave it," said Jaden and placed a hand on her shoulder. "But listen, if you need someone to talk to, then talk to me. Alright?"

Tara nodded, touched that he would actually say that and feeling relieved that Jaden was having her back.

Jaden left her and went over to Bastion and Syrus again, as Bastion stated that he needed help repainting his room.

Tara hesitated, but slowly approached her brother. She was trying to tell Jaden her problem, but got interrupted by Bastion.

"Hey Tara, wanna help paint my room?" he asked "I running out of space as it was anyway."

Tara nodded and got a bucket of paint in her hands. They all began painting, but in the end it turned out to be a paint fight. Jaden accidentally hit Syrus with the paint brush and painted his face. They were throwing around with the paint. Tara was laughing at them all, and forgot her worries. She was of course throwing around with the paint too. After a long day of painting, the boys and Tara was finally finished painting the room. Bastion invited them for dinner at the Ra Yellow dorm. The boys were really happy, but Tara chose to eat at her own dorm. They had better food! She said goodbye to the others and walked towards the Obelisk Blue dorm.

Jaden P.O.V

"Wow, thanks for the invite Bastion" Jaden said. They were sitting at cafeteria, and Jaden was trying to stuff his face with everything that he could see. Syrus was doing the same thing, but not in the same tempo as Jaden. Bastion smiled at them.

"With pleasure," replied Bastion. "You all helped me paint my room, so this is your reward and I must say Jaden, you eat as fast as your sister"

Jaden grinned. "Well, she can't exactly have all the food, right? Sometimes, we race each other"

Bastion shrugged. He didn't comment that. Syrus looked at Bastion.

"What did Dr. Crowler talk to you about this morning anyway?" Syrus asked.

"Oh that..." said Bastion. "Well, he wanted me to become an Obelisk. So tomorrow, I am gonna have a match against someone from Obelisk Blue" Jaden and Syrus looked happy at Bastion.

"Well, congrats Bastion. You more than earned it," said Jaden.

"Yeah, no one works as hard as you" added Syrus.

"Well, thank you. It means a lot," said Bastion and smiled. They continued eating. After that, Jaden and Syrus invited Bastion over at the Slifer Red dorm for a place to sleep since he just painted his room. However, someone was watching them leave.

Tara P.O.V

Tara had just finished eating at the Obelisk Blue dorm. She had just returned to her room, when her PDA had sent her a message. Tara looked. It was Jaden's NR. She read the text:

Dear Tara.

I need to talk to you right now!

I know it's late, but meet me at the girls storage room tonight.

Love Jaden

Tara looked at the message. It was Jaden's PDA NR. She had a feeling something was off with this message. However, she couldn't figure it out. Tara shrugged and walked out of the room and towards the storage room. She really hoped it was important! She arrived at the storage room, but no one seems to be there.

"Hello? Anybody here?" she screamed, turning in circles.

Suddenly, she could hear someone laughing. Tara got goosebumps. Suddenly, out of the shadows, five people surrounded her. Tara recognised them all. It was Chazz, his two henchmen, along with Jasmine and Mindy.

"I didn't think you actually came" said Chazz and smiled evilly at her.

"What do you want?" Tara growled in an angry voice, but deep inside she was scared. "How the heck did you get my brothers PDA?". Chazz smiled cruel.

"Oh, you mean this here?" He was holding Jaden's PDA. "I found it at Bastion's place. I guess he forgot all about it, but it enabled me to get my revenge on you and your brother for humiliating me" He grinned evilly. The girls did the same thing.

"Yeah, and we made a deal with Chazz," Jasmine smiled cruelly. "Alexis told us your weakness. Chazz is helping us and we are helping him! Your friends with Bastion, right? If you disappear, they would have to look for you"

Tara got pale, and now she remembered why the text message was wrong: Jaden was always calling himself "Jay" in his messages. How careless of her. They surrounded her and dragged her inside the storage room and locked the door.

Tara immediately began to panic. The room was way too small. She was trying to get out of here with all her might. However, they had closed every possible way out of the place. Tara was screaming, but it was in the middle of the night and nobody was hearing her. Tara began to hyperventilate.

She could hear her brothers voice inside of her head. When in a situation like the one you're in, stay calm, he always told her. Tara took a deep breath. And another one. She didn't feel any better, but Tara knew she had to do something before she completely panicked.

She grabbed her PDA and wrote a message with the words, "Help, storage room!" and sent it to someones PDA. She didn't see who. Her hands were shaking! Tara screamed again and sat down on the floor. She was crying. Someone save me. she thought, before I loose my mind completely.

Jaden P.O.V

"Jaden! Come on you lot! Wake up!" screamed a voice outside of the door of the Slifer Dorm. Jaden and his friends all woke up and opened the door. They saw Dorothy from the card shop standing outside and she looked furious.

"What's the matter Dorothy?" asked Jaden in a concerned voice.

"Cards, cards all over the place. At the harbor!" she screamed. "Someone had tossed a huge amount of cards in the ocean at the Harbor!"

They all rushed towards the harbor and saw all the cards. There were some of them they could recognize.

"Wait a minute. Isn't that Vorse Raider and Ring of Destruction in the ocean?" Syrus asked, picking up the cards in question.

"But they're all your cards, Bastion" said Jaden in a furious. Bastion nodded, his face grim.

"Indeed. Someone doesn't want me to be an Obelisk," he said and sighed.

Suddenly, Jaden saw Alexis and her two friends running towards them. They all looked worried.

"Has anyone seen or heard from Tara?" asked Alexis, looking freaked out. "We can't find her. She wasn't in her room either"

"What?! My sister is missing?!" screamed Jaden and was about to shake all life out of Alexis. "How?! When?! Why?!" Bastion and Syrus grabbed him.

"I don't know when" Alexis exclaimed. She was a little dizzy. "She didn't show for breakfast and we got worried"

Bastion and Syrus let go of Jaden. Jaden was angry, but he controlled his emotions. He had a headache.

"We need to find her. Now!" He said in an agitated voice. "I can't let it happen again!" Jaden rushed off too find her.

============
Tara P.O.V

Tara was sitting in the storage room. She was crying and rocking, hardly able to breathe at all. Her body had taken the shape of a ball. She felt the world closing in around her. She didn't know how long she had been here, but needed to get out very soo . Painful memories were beginning to haunt her. She could hear those terrible voices of those men again...

"You're gonna stay there girl. Until someone pays for you that is" Tara was covering her ears, trying to block the voices out. She could remember that tiny cell...

Tara screamed again. A loud scream. She was so lost in her bad memories that she didn't hear that the door was finally open. But she heard the voice:

"Tara, Are you in here?!" Tara looked up. Her eyes were red and her voice was harsh. It took her some time to speak.

"I'm in here" she said in a scratchy voice. She was trying to move, but her body was so rigid and shaking, that it was hard to move at all.

"Tara" she could hear the voice close to her now, and looked up to a pair of purple eyes. She had a hard time breathing. She felt someone wrapping their arms around her and lifted her up bridal style, leaving the cluttered storage room. Tara tried to focus. She saw a face with purple eyes and blue hair.

"Zane..." she whispered and hugged him tight. She needed it! She needed it to feel safe. He embraced her too.

"I'm so sorry. I only got your message this morning, and I didn't know what storage room you were in" he said in a...was that a guilty tone in his voice?

"Okay, you've definitely got claustrophobia alright. It must have been awful. I'm taking you to the infirmary right away" Tara shook her head. She was still hugging Zane and her body was still shaking.

"No" she weakly said. "Please, call Bastion...and say that...the match...Chazz" She still had a hard time breathing. She continued still. "Jaden, I need him...please bring me there...".

She was so tired and was close to passing out, but muttered before she slept, "I like you too, Zane," and Zane heard it. She fell asleep in his arms, hugging him tight.

Jaden P.O.V

"You're sure she will be at the match?" Jaden said in confusion to Bastion. They were running towards the duelling field.

Bastion nodded. "Zane said so. He also said that I couldn't be late for my match, so lets keep running. "

The group arrived at the duel field. They saw Dr. Crowler and Chazz standing on the duel field. Jaden saw that Chazz was glaring at him.

"You're late, Bastion. " screamed Dr. Crowler and looked at them. "And I can see that you brought your little friends here too" He was sending Jaden an evil glare.

"Wait, Chazz is your opponent?!" Jaden angrily exclaimed. "Then it was Chazz who tossed Bastions cards into the water!"

Chazz was just smiling cruel. "Do you have any proof? " he calmly asked. Jaden clenched his fist. They didn't have anything at all.

However, suddenly a voice said, "I have proof" Jaden turned around and saw Zane enter the field. "I saw you this morning, tossing the cards into the ocean" Jaden eyes widened and was surprised when he saw Tara in his arms. He rushed towards Tara, not noticing the pale looks on Chazz, Mindy and Jasmine.

"Tara! What happened? Where was she?!" Jaden said in a really high voice.

"Jaden, lower your voice" Zane said in lower voice than Jaden. "She's sleeping. Someone locked her inside of the girls storage room."

Jaden looked up in horror, but then that feeling gave way to absolute rage. And if looks could kill, then the livid look on Jaden's face was enough to make anyone terrified.

"WHO DID THIS?!" he roared. "WHO WOULD DARE DO THIS TO MY-!" He was about to shout something else out, but was interrupted by Tara who woke up because of his loud screaming.

"Please...Jaden don't do...anything to anyone" Her voice was so weak that Jaden could barely hear her. "Please. You must...promise. Or I won't...tell you..." she said. She was still shaking in Zane's arms, but she could breathe. Jaden looked angry at her, but took a deep breath. He nodded.

"Swear it on our mother, Jaden," she said. Jaden sighed.

"Alright, I swear I won't do anything," Jaden said. Tara nodded.

"Chazz, his henchmen, Jasmine and Mindy ambushed me and locked me inside the storage room," she said. Tara was crying. "Please...don't expel them or anything. I forgive them already"

Jaden looked at his sister in surprise, but he still felt the raging feeling in his heart. He nodded to keep her happy, before she fell asleep again.

Then he turned around towards Chazz and the others. Jaden could see that Alexis was screaming at Mindy and Jasmine.

"How could you do this to her?!" Alexis screeched, making Jasmine and Mindy back away slightly. "What sort of horrible people do you think you are?! Bullying and scaring one of my friends?!"

"But I thought we were your friends" Jasmine tried defending herself, the desperate look on her face evident. "And she defeated you in a duel. We were trying to help you"

"By cornering, locking up and giving my sister a panic attack?!" Jaden snarled harshly, which made Jasmine shrink away from the enraged look on Jaden's face. "Do you have any idea what you, Princeton and the rest of you have done to her?! Not one of you knows why she has claustrophobia!".

"And you, Princeton..." Jaden snapped his head towards Chazz, who for the first time in his life was scared on the duellist he came to call the Slifer Slacker. "...you ambushed her and locked her inside an over-filled storage room where she could barely move and breathe. That's by far the worst thing you can possibly do. She got kidnapped when she was no more than a child. By some nasty people who used her a ransom. And guess what, she was locked inside a over filled storage room too!"

Jaden stopped to breathe. The others looked surprised and deeply ashamed. Chazz and the rest of the ambush group looked at the floor, not wanting to meet the outraged Slifer Red's eyes.

"Well, I hope you're all proud of yourselves. If this was for revenge, then try dueling. Be happy that my sister already had forgiven you. But I'm warning you now, and you better listen to me - if you ever harm, be cruel, and threaten and do anything that's horrible to my sister EVER again, then I swear on my mothers soul I WILL KICK YOUR ASS!" Jaden screamed, making everyone of the ambush group members flinch from his tone.

However, a minute after he shouted at them, Jaden stopped and looked at Dr. Crowler, who had a hard look on his face.

"Look at me all you want, Dr.Crowler, but I'm not taking back what I just said. They harmed my sister, and they need to be sorted out. Don't expel them however, as it is my sisters wish."

He finally turned towards Bastion. "If you ever duel Chazz, Bastion, then beat him for my sister."

"Oh, don't worry about that. I'm gonna do that right now" said Bastion and opened his jacket, revealing a vest of decks strapped to his chest. "I have six other duel decks besides the one that I had"

Jaden nodded his head and walked back to Zane and his sister.

"Let's get her to the infirmary," Jaden said, looking up at the top duellist. "If you don't mind holding onto her a little longer, that is? I don't want to wake her up." Jaden said.

Zane nodded, and with that, they walked towards the infirmary.
