Normal p.o.v.

It was a normal night at the duel academy. The moon and the stars was shining on the bright sky, and everything was quiet. Or almost everything. Syrus was awake at the Slifer dorm. He stomach was aching. Something about eating to much chilly sauce. But anyway Syrus was, in a drowsy and groggy state, on his way to the bathroom. However he sadly mistaken Prof. Banner's room as the bathroom. Syrus saw that Banner was awake, and decided to close the door, when suddenly he heard a voice.

”Your not here to ask questions. Your here to obey” said the mysterious voice, coming from Banner's computer. Syrus got curious. 

”But Jaden and Tara is one of our best students” replied Banner ”In the tomb, the twin's could be buried alive”. Syrus looked shocked. Buried alive? 

”If the tomb shall be the end of the twin's then so be it” said the mysterious voice. Syrus were totally shocked and decided to leave before he got caught. He needed to tell Jaden this in the morning.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was sitting in the class and felt bored. Alexis was sitting next to her, and was paying attention to Banner's teaching. It was something about Alchemy. It was not one of Tara's favorite subjects. Jaden, her twin brother, was sitting at the slifer places, together with Chumley and Syrus, and Jaden was sleeping like always. Tara was about to fall asleep as well. If nothing interesting happen that is. Suddenly a big explosion appeared out of nowhere. Tara flew up from her chair and was totally surprised. Banner had made a chain reaction in his alchemy, and it caused the explosion. Banner was covering in smoke and ashes. Funny enough, Jaden was still asleep. Tara was sure this explosion could wake up an elephant. Jaden must be some sloth or something, if he didn't wake up form this. A little later the bell rang, and guess who woke up. Jaden did! He even asked Syrus what they had learned today. 

”To duck and take cover” replied Syrus. Tara was agreeing with Syrus on this one.

”May I have your attention?” said Banner suddenly. The whole class (That's Jaden,Syrus, Tara, Alexis and Chumley. The rest left for lunch) looked at him. ”I have prepared a field trip for tomorrow”. The class got a little excited. 

”Were to?!” asked Jaden ”To the mall, out bowling, our some other fun places”.

Tara sighed a little. If she knew professor Banner well, it would be a really boring place. Like his teaching in alchemy! Banner looked at them all and grinned. 

”It is even better” He said ”We a taking a 10 miles hike on the island to some old ruins, where we can take samples to my alchemy lessons. It is saturday 7 o clock in the morning. Don't be late”. Tara sighed. It sounded really boring. The rest of the class didn't sound to eager as well. 

Time skip.. At the girls dorm.

Tara was lying on her bed. She couldn't sleep. It just happens to be one of these nights. Tara was tossing and turning around in her bed. She kept starring at her PDA for some reason. She had a urge to write to someone. Zane, was her first choice, but she knew that Zane had to study for some test tomorrow, and didn't want to disturb him. Tara was thinking about sending Alexis a text message when her PDA was beeping. It was a text from Alexis. Are you awake? I can't sleep.

Tara answered that she was awake and couldn't sleep ether. A little bit after the PDA was beeping again. Is it okay if I visit you in the middle of the night? Tara said yes. And a little bit after, Alexis was knocking on the door. Tara let her in. Alexis was dressed in a blue pajamas, and had a carpet with her. Tara smiled at her.

”So what's wrong?” asked Tara when they were sitting comfortable in her bed. 

”Well I am a little worried about the field trip tomorrow” said Alexis guilty. ”I have heard a rumors that it had something to do with the shadow games and stuff”. 

”Oh your brother” said Tara worried ”Don't worry we will find him Alexis”. She hugged her and the two girls were talking together the rest of the night. 

The next morning.

”What? Where are the rest of the class?” asked Professor Banner worried. The twin's, Alexis, Chumley and Syrus was the only ones standing in front of the school. 

”Um I think they are still sleeping” said Syrus and sighed ”You know in there warm and comfortable beds”. Chumley sighed too. 

”That's were I wanna be. If Banner didn't threat with detention that is” said Chumley. The twin's looked at each other and Jaden began pumping the crowd a little bit up. 

”Oh come on guys. This is going to be fun. Checking some old ruins and..”. Jaden began falling asleep just talking about it. Tara pushed her brother awake. 

”Okay. Let's get going” said Banner suddenly and they began walking. ”But we must be careful. Inside these ruins are a ancient tomb”.

Tara could hear Chumley complain already. This was going to be a long trip. She just knew. However Syrus suddenly approached her and Jaden. 

”Be careful Jaden, Tara” said Syrus concerned. ”I heard Banner talking about a tomb and you being buried alive”.

Jaden was just grinning and said that Syrus only had a bad dream or something. Tara looked a little worried, but she didn't care about Syrus's warning ether. They began walking. 

It was a really long hike. Chumley couldn't stop complaining. Tara was sure she was going to kill him, if he said ”Are we there yet” one more time. However Tara must admit that is was a really dangerous road they were following. They were climbing (Chumley complained about it), walking on logs over a dangerous river, and walking near a volcano. When they finally arrived, Jaden and Syrus were almost carrying Chumley. They all chose to take a little lunch break. Banner told them that he was gonna have Pizza, and Tara could see the jealousy in her brothers eyes. 

”Wait, you are gonna have Pizza? And I am stuck eating, whatever I am holding!” Jaden said a little angry. Tara grinned at her brother.

”It is rice balls, Jaden” said Tara and began eating her rice ball.

”Well of course I am eating pizza” said Banner a little cruel ”I am your teacher, and I need a good meal to teach you all”.

However when Banner was going to get his food from his backpack, his cat Farao appeared. He had eaten Banner's lunch. Tara and the other students grinned. Banner looked devastated. He was trying to get Tara and the others to share their lunch with him. Jaden was only grinning.

”Sorry prof, but we need these rice balls so that we can learn” Jaden said. The others nodded. Banner was still trying to convince them, when suddenly some weird light beams shot out from the ground, and Tara could suddenly see three suns. 

”Anyone who can see triple?” asked Tara confused. The others nodded. Suddenly both Marshmellow and Winged kuriboh appeared. They were telling them to run! Suddenly a weird thunder storm was appearing.

”Hurry children” screamed Banner ”Let's take cover in... ”.

But nobody understood was he was talking about. Banner pointed at the building, and everyone ran towards it. However Tara tripped over a rock and fell to the ground. She could hear her brother scream her name, before everything went blank.

”Tara, Tara! Wake up!” Screamed a voice. Tara rolled away from the annoying voice.

”Just five more minutes mom” Tara said and yawned ”I don't want to go to school today”.

However suddenly Tara felt that someone was jumping on her chest. Tara opened her eyes and met Marshmellow's white eye color. She got up pretty fast. 

”Hey thanks for that Marshmellow” could Tara hear her brother say. Tara was totally shocked. Marshmellow was jumping around on the ground and was saying ”Mell, Mell” all the time. Jaden was standing beside her with a wild grin on his face. Tara looked around and saw a big pyramid standing in front of them. Tara looked really surprised now. Suddenly Marshmellow was jumping into her arms. Tara felt it was weird. She could actually touch Marshmellow?!. Jaden was doing the same thing to winged kuriboh. He also have a puzzled look on his face.

”Were are we?” asked Tara, Jaden. ”What happened?”. 

”Um you fell to the ground at the ruins. I rushed to your side and suddenly a weird light appeared and when I woke up, I was here”. Jaden pointed at the fixed ruins and pyramid. Suddenly Tara heard a voice speak to them.

”What are you doing here? This is sacred ground. You must leave this place immediately. You both are in a great danger”. The voice was coming from a weird dressed girl. Tara looked surprised at her. 

”Wow” said Jaden ”Where did you get these clothes?”.

Tara hid Jaden on the head. Behave, Jaden, behave, Tara was thinking. Suddenly they could both hear someone approaching them. The girl grabbed them and pushed the twin's towards the wall. She told them to be quiet. Tara could see that Jaden was blushing. Tara was laughing inside. A crowd of guards was walking towards the pyramid. The girl released them after the guards was gone. 

”What the hell is happening here?” asked Tara ”Where are we?!”. The girl began explaining. She told that they were trespassing on the ”Gravekeeper Chief's” sacred tomb, and if they didn't leave soon, they would share the others fate. 

”What other fate? ” said Tara and Jaden in unison.

”The people who dress the same as you” she relied ”They have been caught and will soon be punished”. Tara and Jaden looked both scared. 

”Punished!” they both scream ”Not if we have something to say. Take us to this Chief ”. The girl looked concerned at them, but nodded.

”I have warned you” She said and began walking away. Jaden and Tara followed her. 

”You have to wait here” said the girl and let them inside a stone building. 

”But what about our friends?” asked Jaden concern, but the girl still wanted them to wait here. Tara placed a hand on Jaden's shoulder and shook her head. 

”I think we shall listen to her” said Tara ”We can't save anyone, if we are caught too”.

Jaden sighed and waited. The girl left. Suddenly they both could hear someone scream. Could that be Alexis?. Soon after the rest of their friends followed. Jaden and Tara jump up and grabbed a window. They could see that the others was about to get buried alive. The twin's began screaming their friends names. Suddenly Tara felt a sharp object poking on the back. Both her and Jaden turned around and saw a horde of guards surrounding them. They were pointing at them with their spears. Behind the guards was a man standing. Jaden and Tara looked at each others. 

”Um Hi!” They said in unison ”We are Tara and Jaden Yuki. And who might you be?”. The man in the background was answering.

”I am the gravekeeper chief, and you two have trespassed on my domain”.

”Well we are terrible sorry about that” began Tara and Jaden continued ”Yeah so we are just gonna grab our friends, say goodbye and leave back to our dimension”. 

”That is not possible. You and your friends have trespassed on my sacred tomb and is now going to be punished”. Tara and Jaden looked at each other again. 

”Well can't we just say that we are sorry” said Jaden ”and leave it at that”. 

”No you can't not” the Chief said ”But maybe we can sort things out by having one of you, to accept my challenge”. The chief showed them his dueling deck. 

”I gladly accept” said Jaden. Tara smiled, but suddenly the guards grabbed Tara and was about to drag her away from there. 

”Jay. Jaden Help!” Tara scream ”Let go of me your stupid guards!”. 

”Hey where are you taking my sister?!” scream Jaden angrily. The chief smiled. 

”I only need one of you to the challenge. Your sister is joining the others in the tomb”. Tara looked really pale and began fighting even more. Jaden forced his way doing the guards, freed his sister and was standing in front of Tara as a shield. 

”You can't take her!” screamed Jaden ”Because She is joining me at the Challenge! She is not dueling but just standing beside me! That is allowed right?!”.

The chief and his people began whispering. Tara looked at Jaden. He really looked determined. She really loved him very much. The Chief turned towards the twin's again.

”Agreed” He said ”She will be joining you at the Shadow game. And when you lose she will share your fate”. Jaden looked concerned at Tara. Tara nodded at the Chief.

”And if my brother wins, We can all leave. Us and our friends.”. The chief nodded. They all left the building and began the shadow game outside, over the thumb. They began the duel. 

Jaden's p.o.v.

Jaden got totally scared, when the guards was gonna place Tara inside the tomb too. He had, without a moments hesitation, forced his way through the guards in a attempted to save his sister. It was the only thing he could think of. Now that she was standing beside him, Jaden felt relaxed ones again and ready to get his game on. Tara was smiling at him and nodded. They began the duel.

Chief: 4000Lp

Jaden/Tara 4000Lp.

The Chief began. He placed a monster facedown. Jaden summoned ”Bubbleman” to the field and got two cards from deck. He then placed a card facedown. It was the chief's turn again. He summoned ”Gravekeeper spear soldier” in att mode. He then flip summoned ”gravekeeper guard” in att mode. Because of it's eff, Jaden's monster got back into his hand. The chief gave him two direct attacks. Suddenly Tara began screaming. She was holding one hand on her shoulder and groaning in pain. 

”Tara are you alright?” Jaden asked confused and turned towards the chief ”Hey what gives. Why are my sister in pain right now?!”. The chief grinned. 

”It's a shadow game. Your sister is paying for your mistakes” said the chief cruel. ”Every Time you get a direct attack, your sister is going to feel the pain, And your friends down there is slowly going to be buried”. The chief pointed at the tomb. His friends were in a sarcophagus, and it was beginning to close. Jaden looked shocked. 

”Then what about me. Shouldn't I be punished too” asked Jaden confused. 

”You are” said the chief and grinned ”You are gonna watch your friends and sister suffer because of your mistakes. And you can't do anything to prevent that”.

Jaden looked in horror. Tara looked at him. ”Win” she said and Jaden nodded. He continued the duel. He fusion summoned ”Flame wingman”. He attacked the chief's ”Spear soldier”. The chief lost 2100 Lp's. Jaden then placed ”Wroughtweiler” in def mode and ended his turn. He looked concerned at his sister.

”Tara, are you okay?” Jaden asked. Tara nodded and got up on her feet.

”Don't worry about me Jay” She said ”I can take it. Just make sure to win”.

Jaden nodded. The chief had placed a monster face down and switched ”gravekeeper guard” in def mode. Jaden attacked again with ”Wingman” and destroyed ”gravekeeper guard” and dealt more damage to the chief. It was the chief''s turn. He used the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. He then summoned ”Gravekeeper assailant” in att mode. He also flip summoned ”Gravekeeper's curse” in att mode. Because of his eff, Jaden got slammed by 500 points of damage. Jaden could hear his sister scream. She was covering her ears. The chief was not finished yet. He used the field spell ”Necrovalley”. All his monster's gain 500 more att points. He used ”Assailant” eff and changed Jaden's ”Wingman” to def mode. The chief attacked and destroyed both monster. Jaden grinned a little.

”You forgot” said Jaden ”I am gonna get a hero and polymerization back”. The chief grinned. Jaden looked confused at him. 

”Jaden. You can't” said Tara to him ”Because of his field spell. No monsters can return from the grave”. Jaden looked shocked. 

”The girl is right” said the chief and ended his turn.

Jaden drew his spirit and placed it on the field. It was chief again. He was about to attack ”Winged Kuriboh” and when Jaden played his spell card ”Transcendent wings”, discarded two cards and was trying to evolve his spirit to level 10. However that move got countered by the chief. By discarding ”gravekeeper watcher” from his hand to the grave, he could negate the evolution. ”Assailant” attacked and destroyed ”Winged kuriboh”. The chief was laughing and trash talking about the spirit. Jaden got pretty angry. 

”Listen you chief!” said Tara suddenly and Jaden looked surprised at her ”My brothers spirit is not some piece of trash. He is our friend and also family”.

Marshmellow was jumping up and down and looked pretty angry at the chief. It was agreeing with Tara. Jaden smiled at them and drew. He used the spell ”Pot of greed” and got two more cards. He summoned ”Dark catapulter” in def mode. He placed 3 facedown's and used the spell ”Mirage of nightmare” and Jaden got 4 cards in his hand. The chief''s turn and he sacrificed ”Curse” to summoned himself ”Gravekeeper Chief” to the field. Because of his own eff the chief got ”GK spear soldier” back. He then used a trap and got yet another monster back from his grave. He chose ”GK curse”. Jaden got slammed with 500 points because ”Curse” was summoned. Jaden could hear his sister scream when she got covered in some green light and fell to the ground. The chief attacked with ”Assailant” against Jaden's monster. He used ”Emergency provisions” dropped two cards on the field (one of them was mirage) and gained 2000 life points. Jaden could see that the chief was a little angry with ”Assailant”. However the chief chose to attack Jaden now, and Jaden used his trap ”Draining shield.” and gained more lifepoints. However the chief still had two monsters out. He attacked with ”GK spear soldier”. Jaden could see his sister being blown a little away by that attack and Jaden catched her. The chief attacked with ”Curse” now. Green flames surrounded Tara and Jaden (Because he is holding her) and Jaden lost even more lifepoints. They both got up on the feets. Tara a little more beat up than Jaden. She was holding on too him by using him as crutch. The chief used a spell and got rid of every monster in Jaden's hand. It was Jaden's turn and he needed a miracle to win. Tara instantly grabbed Jaden's hand and wished him luck. Jaden drew. It was the monster ”Ele hero Bladedge”, but he couldn't summon it because he had nothing to sacrifice. Jaden sighed. He had lost. 

”Jaden!” said Tara however ”You can still win. You still have ”Necroshade” remember”.

Jaden looked confused at her, but then he remembered. Jaden removed ”Necroshade” from the grave to summon ”Bladedge”. He attacked the chief and won the duel. Jaden highfived his sister. He really did win.

Tara's p.o.v.

Jaden won! Jaden really won. Tara was so happy. Even through her body was a little beat up in this duel, it actually was a fun duel, and Tara could also see the happiness in her brother's eyes. He had a fun duel too. 

”Chief, Chief! Are you okay?” could Tara hear the other gravekeeper's say. Tara could see that Jaden want to help him, but didn't want to leave her. Tara just pushed Jaden a little away from her and nodded. Jaden rushed towards the chief. 

”Hey are you okay chief?” said Jaden concerned. The other gravekeeper's were pointing the spears at Jaden, but the Chief said they should let him be. The chief was telling Jaden something Tara couldn't hear and suddenly he gave Jaden a half broken Medal and a little bit after he freed our friends. Jaden returned to help Tara down the stairs even through Tara was telling him that she was fine. Suddenly a horde of guard's appeared. They still wanted to punish them even through Jaden had won the challenge. Assailant suddenly appeared and helped them, and it turned out to be the girl Jaden had a little crush on. Tara grinned a little. Now she had something to tease him with. However it turned out that the girl already had a boyfriend. The chief explained how to get away from here, and that they should hurry, before the 3 suns became one. All of them rushed towards the archway. Jaden was helping Tara. They were about to make it when Chumley suddenly fell and hurt his knee. 

”Aw!” He scream ”I can't make it now. You guys have to leave without me”.

”What are you talking about?!” scream Jaden ”We are not gonna leave without you!”. 

”Yeah, Jaden is right” said Tara ”Ether we leave together or none of is leaving”.

Chumley was crying out of happiness, when suddenly Tara could hear a voice. Jaden and the spirits could hear it too. The spirit was dancing around in happiness. The duel monster ”Des koala” appeared before Chumley and the monster spirit grabbed Chumley and rushed together with the others towards the exit. The same green light beams appeared and suddenly they were gone in a flash. 

Tara woke up. She was lying on the ground, beside Syrus and Chumley who were sleeping on the ground. All of them beside Tara was actually sleeping. Tara looked at Alexis and Jaden. They were sleeping beside each other, really peacefully. They were so sweet together. Tara was rubbing her head. Had it all been a dream? She heard the voice of ”Winged kuriboh”. It's card was lying beside Jaden. Tara picked it up and noticed the medal around Jaden's neck. Apparently it hadn't been a dream.
