Mice's p.o.v.

Freya and the mice was inside Freya's room at the top of the tower. Freya had just opened a chest and was now swinging around with an while and pink dress.

"Isn't it lovely?" she asked and looked at the mice "It was my mother's".

"It is pretty but looks old" Tara commented. The other girl mice nodded.

"Well maybe it is a little old fashioned, but I will fix that" Freya replied and hung the dress on a dressmaker mannequin. Syrus looked puzzled up at her.

"Um how you gonna do it?" He questioned. Freya smiled and took a book with ideas on how to make a nice dress. He showed the pictures to the mice.

"Oh nice, very nice" Tara commented and smiled. The other mice nodded.

"I have to shorten the sleeves. I also need a sash" Freya said slowly and looked at the book "A ruffle and something for collar..". Freya got quickly interrupted by a yelling voice from downstairs calling her name. Freya could hear it was Atticus's voice.

"Oh now what do they want?" she questioned. Now she could hear Alexis call on her as well. Freya sighed and got up "Oh well I guess my dress have to wait". Then she quickly left the room. The mice looked at the closed door and Freya. Jaden sighed.

"Poor Freya" He said and snort "Every time she finds a minute, that's the time when they begin it. Freya! Freya!". Then he kicked the door and in some way pretended it was the family downstairs he was kicking.

"Freya, Freya, everyday it's Freya, make the fire, fix the breakfast, wash the dishes, do the mopping" He yelled/sang.

"And the sweeping and the dusting" added/sang the three mice Ember, Ace and Maiyo "They always keep her hopping..".

"She go around in circles till she very, very dizzy, still they holler.." Jaden sang.

"Keep her busy, Poor Freya" the girls added/sang and ended the song.

"Gotcha keep her busy" Jaden said and kicked a thimble. Syrus later used it as chair. Jaden looked up at the dress and sighed "You know what? Freya won't go to the ball".

"What?" Tara yelled in surprise. The other mice added "Not go? What did you say?".

"You'll see gotcha, they'll fix her. Work, work, work. She'll never get her dress done".

"Poor Freya" Syrus said and sniffed. Tara looked at the dress and then at the book.

"Hey! We can do it!" she yelled and sang "We can do it, we can do it. We can help our friend Freya. We can make the dress so pretty there is nothing to it really".

"We will tie a sash around it and put a ribbon through it" the other mice added in singing as well "When dancing at the ball she'll be more beautiful than all, in the lovely dress we make for our friend Freya". Then they began getting the things from Freya's basket and began finding needle and threats. Other animals were quickly there to help them as well. Like etc the birds.

"We will cut it with the scissors" Syrus said and ran over with the human size scissor.

"And I can do the sewing" Jaden said and swung around with the human sized needle like it was a sword. Tara quickly grabbed it from him.

"Leave the sewing to the women" she said and smiled "You go get some trimmin'". Jaden smiled happily and waved at Syrus and made him come along as well. The little mouse quickly did that. It was only happy to help out his big brother.

"Gotcha follow me Sy, sy" Jaden encouraged when they were walking through the different mouse holes around the house "I know where to go. It's gonna be pretty. The dress. Freya is gonna be so surprised". Syrus nodded happily.

"Surprised, surprised, very surprised" he added. They arrived at one of the exits of the house. They removed a stone in the wall and could now look outside. They saw the two siblings fill Freya's hands with piles of clothes they needed for the ball.

"..And this too, and my slippers. Don't forget" they could hear Atticus say.

"Freya, take my dress and mend the button holes" Alexis said and tossed her dress in the poor Freya's arms. Atticus snort as well and tossed clothes in there as well.

"Here press my tuxedo and iron it the best you can" He commanded.

"Freya" said Banner suddenly and made the poor girl look at him "When you're through, and before you begin your regular chores, I have a few little things".

"Very well" she replied in a sad tone and left the room. Jaden sneered. If it wasn't for the fact that he was a mouse and that he wasn't taller than their little finger, he would have gone out there and kicked their butt. They watched the sibling flip out as well.

"Father I don't see why everyone else has such nice things to wear, and I always ends up with these ugly" Alexis sneered and was swing with some piece of jewelry "These beads. I am just sick of looking at them". She tossed some beads at the floor in the room. Jaden pointed at the beads and Syrus nodded. Atticus snort as well.

"You should talk. This sash for my tux, I would look completely stupid in it" He said and tossed the sash on the floor as well. In the end they left the room while still complaining. Jaden and Syrus used that moment to sneak out of the mouse hole. There were no one around after all. However for safety they were still sneaking around. After all Pharaoh could be somewhere in the house.

"Gotcha be careful" Jaden told Syrus and the little mouse nodded. They began slowly moving in the room. They were at some point under the foot chair of the room and saw that the sash and beads were in almost reach. The mice quickly rushed over.

"Gotcha Sy, Sy, we can use this white sash for the dress" Jaden told Syrus.

"Pretty, pretty, pretty" Syrus commented and was holding on to the sash, then Jaden suddenly placed a hand over his mouth. He pointed at the foot chair.

"Shh, look Pharaoh" Jaden said. Syrus turned slowly around and noticed Pharaoh lying on the foot chair and was sleeping. They quickly hid under the sash and rushed over to the mouse hole again. Of course Pharaoh woke up and questioned why there was a white sash running around under the chair. When it looked down it noticed the mice of course. However they manage to get inside the mouse hole with the sash. Pharaoh sneered, but he was waiting at the mouse hole in hope that they would come out again. Suddenly he could hear sound of creaking, and turned towards the noise. He saw the two mice in another of the secret mouse holes around the house. He saw Jaden point at something. Then Syrus smiled happily.

"Oh the beads" he said in a happy tone. The cat quickly placed two and two together. They wanted the beads. Pharaoh rushed over and placed his behind on them. He was smirking like hell. In someway telling the mice "Come on, take them! I am right here!". Jaden and Syrus looked in horror at the cat. Then Jaden got an idea. He quickly told Syrus and walked quickly out of the mouse hole. Pharaoh was ready for him, but found out Jaden wasn't interested in the beads suddenly. He had gone over to one of clothes in the pile on the floor. He was ripping up buttons from one of the dresses. Pharaoh noticed him of course and then decided to sneak in on him. That until he noticed that Syrus was on his way out of the mouse hole as well. He was on his way over to the beads. Pharaoh quickly rushed back and placed his behind on the beads again. Then he moved over to Jaden, while rubbing his rear end at the floor, so the beads followed. Syrus looked in horror. How should I now get the beads? Jaden in the meantime had gathered a pile of buttons. Pharaoh was not close by and had lifted his paw with claws to attack. Jaden had just placed another button at the piles when he made one of the buttons flick up in the air and slammed into the cat's nose. That made Pharaoh pretty angry. He hissed and forgot all about the beads. He only had one thought in his head and that was to capture and kill Jaden. He rushed forward to attack and the cat and the mouse hit the pile of clothes in furious war. Syrus in the meantime rushed out of the hole and grabbed the beads, while looked over at the piles for his now fighting brother. He saw Pharaoh appear out of the piles with an evil smirk on his face. Then he moved some of the clothes and made a hole in hope that Jaden was there. What the cat didn't know what that Jaden was sitting up at the top of the cat's head and was hiding as well as resting a little. He looked at Syrus who was rushing over to the mouse hole with the beads, but at the end tripped over them and the beads fell of the string they were attached to. Beads was lying everywhere around the mouse hole now. Pharaoh of course heard the sound and looked over at Syrus who was grabbing the beads and tossing them in the hole. Jaden gasped. He slammed his hands over the cat's eyelids and made it chase him in the pile of clothes once again. Then he even manage to trick Pharaoh into following him into one of the sleeves in a dress. Jaden got out of the sleeve, but Pharaoh only manage to get his head out of the sleeves. The rest of his body, just didn't fit. Jaden and Syrus quickly pulled the beads inside the hole and closed it. Then they were gasping for air.

"I hope Freya really is gonna like the dress gotcha" Jaden questioned and smiled.

"Oh she will, gotcha" Syrus replied. He was trying to imitate his big brother.

"Yeah you are right" Jaden said and got up "Let's get the things back to Freya's room, so we can sew the dress, Gotcha?". Syrus nodded eagerly.

"Gotcha!".

Freya's p.o.v.

The bell chimed 8 o'clock and Freya could see that the carriage who should bring them to the castle had arrived outside. She quickly, but also a little sad inside, walked over to her stepfather's room. She knocked on the door. Banner opened the door.

"Yes?" he questioned in a extremely calm tone. Freya sighed inside.

"The carriage is here" she told him and began leaving towards her room.

"Oh" Banner said and looked at the clothes she was wearing. Her usual cleaning outfit. Then he lifted a brow "Why Freya? You are not ready yet child".

"I am not going" she said in a sad tone. She didn't want to lose face to her stepfather and therefore didn't turn around to look at him. Alexis and Atticus snuck their head out of their respective rooms. They had an evil smirk on their face.

"Not going?" Banner said in fake concerned voice "Oh what a shame, but of course there will be other times". Freya was holding her head high.

"Yes, good night" she just replied and walked up the stairs to her room at the tower. She didn't notice Banner and the rest of the family smirking like hell. Their plan had worked.

Freya entered her own room, some minutes later not caring to turn on the light. She walked over to the windowsill and placed her arms there. From there she could see the castle in all its glory.

"Oh well what's a royal ball" she said to herself "After all I suppose it would be frightfully dull, and boring, and completely... completely wonderful!". She sighed deeply. Then suddenly some light got lit up in the old room and she turned around towards it. She saw two birds move the screen she used when she was dressing her clothes on or off for the day. On it hang the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. It was in pink and white colors and looked like the dress in her book. Freya gasped.

"It's my.. dress?!" she said stunned.

"Surprise! Surprise!" yelled all the mice all around her, beside Syrus who yelled "Happy birthday!". Which made the other facepalm, but Freya didn't care. She grabbed the dress and swung it happily around.

"I never dreamed it.. it is such as surprise" she said happily and looked at all the animals "Oh how can I ever.. Oh thank you, thank you so much". Then she began getting dressed.

A,N: Hope you like it so far. I just love the event with the mice, so just couldn't cut it out. The next part is with the fairy godmother and a certain prince named Aster. Oh and don't forget the ball. Hope the characters are not OOC too much.
