Running away is not cowardly. You can be surrounded by enemies, and don't have any other way than to run. I would gladly run. I would gladly escape, just so I can fight and save my friends on another day.

Tara's p.o.v.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Tara sneered in annoyings and tried breaking free from the chair she was tied up from.

Pegasus, Sheppard, and Mokuba all sighed. They were at the cottage, who was now a small hunt. Without Yugi and his magic around, the cottage turned back to the original stage. However that didn't mean that they couldn't hide Pegasus, Sheppard, Mokuba, Chumley and Maiyo in here.

"You know we can't do that Tara girl" Pegasus then said and sighed "The others wouldn't like it if you meddled in their plans". Tara sneered angrily.

"I am the leader here, so why are you all tying me up" she then yelled "I am suppose to go out there and battle on Axel's behalf. Not tied to a chair". Pegasus hummed.

"We all know you don't have your head in this battle" Sheppard then said "Therefore it is the safest to keep you here". Maiyo snort annoyed.

"Oh and why does I have to stay behind then?" she then said "I do have my head in the battle. I am not like Tara, who would sacrifice herself for her friends".

"Your father explained that as well" Mokuba then said and smirked "We have to be back here as back up, and protect this place until the others are back remember". At that Maiyo sneered and lifted her duel disk.

"Yeah, but there is no action" she then complained "I want to fight too".

"You will see plenty of fight soon enough" Sheppard then said and chuckled "You see. Yugi and the others has decided to join the fight as well. That means they become active, and as your parents daughter, you will soon as well". Maiyo smiled happily and jumped up in joy. Tara on the other hand was rather annoyed. She couldn't believe the others had tied her up and gone to get the antidote from Trapper without her. That was just not fair.

"I don't understand why they don't want me there as well" Tara then sneered "I am not useless. I am the leader, I'm..".

"And for that reason you are to stay here Tara girl" Pegasus then said "You know full well they are taking a big risk here. If Jesse's info on this hunter is correct, then he can be unpredictable. Who knows what could happen?". Tara snort annoyed.

"Yeah that is why I should be with them. Not staying here tied up to a chair" she then yelled furiously and tried getting free once again. Sheppard sighed deeply.

"You really don't know how important you are do you Tara?" the old chancellor then said and looked firmly at her "You are our only hope left for this world now".

"Only hope left?" Tara questioned puzzled "What are you talking about?".

"We all know it Tara" Chumley then said slowly "Jaden had always been the role figure on duel academy. He had this warm. He made everyone believe in him, and made others gain courage. Like the event with my father. Well that was a licious duel. He made me stand up to my father..".

"Point is that Jaden boy sadly aren't there for us any longer" Pegasus then interrupted and sighed "Being in Camula's clutches, even though you say he is a good vampire, he is still Vampire mistress's progeny. When it comes down to it, he will do as she says. With or without human memories. That is the vampire enslavement. We read up on it, in hope on saving him". Sheppard nodded slowly.

"However it was never meant to be. The vampires are only free if we defeat the one turning them, and even after that they will still stay vampires" he then said slowly "That is why we are turning to you for help now Tara". Tara looked puzzled at them. Mokuba and Chumley nodded in agreement.

"Me?!" Tara then questioned "Why to me? I am nothing special".

"You are Jaden's twin Tara girl. We believe you have the same warm as your brother. Actually we know that is true. You also can make all believe in you and gain courage" Pegasus then said "You do remember Jaden's last words at duel academy right? When he saved you 7 years ago".

Tara nodded slightly. The memory of Jaden appearing in her Obelisk room. Now silent as the night, and with blood running down the corners of his mouth. Animal blood, she reminded herself. Kagemaru had made every student stay in their dorm room. In a way some sort of prison, since the the dark scorpions was guarding the hallways. Tara's room had been guarded more than anyone else's for a reason. Maybe because she was Jaden's twin. However Tara must admit she had been slightly scared seeing her brother like that in her room. That until Jaden had reassured her, he was sort of, still himself. Tara believed him. The hug she got and the bond they were having convinced her. They had snuck out. It was in the middle of the night with a full moon, Tara remembered. She remembered the helicopter from Pegasus and her father. The shocked expression they were having seeing her together with a vampire, along with all their kids they had been rescuing. Tara was still amazed that the security guards hadn't attacked. Now she wondered if Jaden had been using that weird ability he had, to keep them from harming them. It could might well be. He had pushed Tara into pegasus's arms and said they should leave. Then he had left through the shadows. Just like that.

"'Protect her. Protect her with your life'. Those were the words Jaden boy used" Pegasus then said "That and 'Keep her safe. Keep her safe from Them, and Me. That is all I ask off'. We believe he gave you the torch. The torch to be our hope to save this world". Tara looked a little surprised at them. She had never thought about that before. She bit her lip a little.

"If I promise not to run outside to save the others, would you then please free me from the chair" she then said. The others looked stunned at her.

"You promise?" Mokuba then said "Should we actually believe that?".

"I swear on my mother's grave" she then said. The others looked suspicious at her, but Mokuba and Maiyo knew Tara would never break a promise on her mom's grave. Soon they freed her from the chair. Tara stretched her body a little.

"Much better" she then said "As I promised I will not run away. I would surely ruin their plans if I do. We have to believe in them". The others nodded.

"By the way, this is something I should give you from Ace" Mokuba then said "She gave me it, while the others were tying you up. She said I should give it, when I felt it was the right time. It is some kind of code, but have no clue on what to do with it".

Tara took the letter from Mokuba. Some weird numbers and letters was on. Pegasus and the others looked at it as well. They looked just as confused as Tara felt right now. In the end Tara sighed deeply.

"Well codes are really my father's department" she then said "If we ever come back there, we can give it to him. Until then, you hold unto it uncle Mokuba". Mokuba nodded slightly. He was a little embarrassed that he was uncle actually.

"So what are we doing now?" Maiyo then questioned. Tara shrugged a little.

"Wait for the others I guess" she then replied "There aren't much to do". Maiyo was about to complain when they could hear a voice yell outside.

"Tara, everyone there is trouble!". Tara and the others stuck their head outside to see Syrus run out from the woods and was carrying, half dragged, Axel with him. Tara and the others quickly rushed over to him.

"Syrus what happened?" Tara questioned "Didn't you get the antidote? Where are the others?". Syrus gasped for air a little, while Pegasus took the sleeping Axel off him.

"They got it!" Syrus then said and holding up a bottle "We stole it from the trapper, but he had an intern named Lucian, and he shut down the duel disks. Yugi and the others can't use their decks at all. They made me flee with Axel so he wasn't in the crossfire when they fought. I didn't know what else to do you guys".

"Well the others aren't helpless" Tara said and clenched his fists "But I...".

"We need to help them" Maiyo then said "Mom and dad are in trouble".

"Yes, but we need to think here, and don't do something rash" Sheppard then said.

Pegasus nodded. Maiyo sneered annoyed. Tara hummed a little. Something was clearly not right here. Maiyo was arguing in the background with Pegasus and the others. Therefore they didn't hear the rustling who appeared in the bushes now. However Tara did.

"Maiyo watch out!" she yelled and quickly pushed Maiyo out of the way, when a giant snake like creature was about to attack her.

Maiyo and the others looked shocked at the giant boa who rushed towards them now. Tara had saved them from the attack though. Mokuba quickly activated his duel disk. A D.D warrior appeared and defended them. Maiyo shock her head.

"What is going on?" she questioned puzzled. They could hear a cold evil laughter now. It gave Tara goosebumps.

"Oh I would love to tell you" the voice then said "But I figure you all already knows what's going on. After all you are the resistance and smart people. Or so it should seem, because the little twerp lead me right to you".

A man with short black hair and was dressed in purple jacket and black pants and boots, walked out from some bushes. He was carrying a bag and some weird duel disk machine. Tara's eyes narrowed. She had never seen him before, but that couldn't be good news.

"Who are you?" Pegasus said firmly and activated his duel disk as well.

"Oh I am sorry. I forgot to introduce myself" the man then said "Thelonious Viper, the hunter at your service". At that Tara froze. Syrus sneered angry.

"A hunter! But I thought Trapper was the only hunter after us" he then yelled "Tell me, how many hunters are there after us?!".

"Hmm only three" Viper then said and smirked "Or I am not sure you could call Trapper's trainee a hunter. Trapper and I are partner so to speak. Especially when it is a pray like this. The most wanted in the world. We can't take any chances".

"I lead you right to them" Syrus said horrified "We didn't believe there was other hunters in the area". Tara sneered angry. However she didn't blame Syrus at all.

"You guys run!" Tara then said firmly and drew her sword. "Take Axel with you. It is important that you get away now. It is not your time to get captured".

"Tara girl.." Pegasus then began but Mokuba grabbed his arm and began running. They all supported Syrus with the support of Axel as well. Maiyo sneered in annoyings and activated her duel disk.

"No way, I am leaving him to you" she then said "I am finally getting the action I wanted". Sheppard also nodded and activated his duel disk too.

"And I can't let any more harm happen to my students" he then said "I started this apocalypse with those blasted keys, and I am ending it too. By protecting the girl who gives us hope, I can finally be of service".

Tara looked stunned at them. She was happy, but at the same time worried about her friends. She didn't want them to get into trouble, because they were protecting her. Tara slammed her own face. No! I can't think like that. They believe in me. I am the hope from this world, and I will not give up until I have succeed, or at least.. thoughts on Jaden entered her mind. Or until I freed Jaden and Zane! Suddenly her sword lit up, and Tara was encircled in a weird light. Pictures emerged in front of her. She could see herself, standing inside a giant throne room. At the throne, Camula was sitting, and at the feets was Jaden sitting. It looked like he was sleeping. Then the pictures disappeared, and Tara found herself back in front of the hunter and beside her friends. They however, didn't look like they had noticed anything. However, Maiyo looked worried at her.

"Tara you okay?" she questioned "You look pale. Don't tell me you quit this battle".

"Of course not!" Tara sneered and lifted her blade "Let's just get started".

The others nodded. Sheppard summoned his cyber ogre and Maiyo a harpie monster. Then they attacked. Tara quickly followed with raised blade. I don't know what those pictures were, but Freya said you unlocked your own potential with those weapons. If that was a vision, then I will not give up until it happens for real. Then she attacked..

Jesse's p.o.v.

Jesse sneered in annoyings, while dodging yet another Killer bee. He slammed it down with an iron pole. Jesse was one of them who hadn't got a new weapon from Freya yet, so Atticus had borrowed him one of his iron poles and daggert. Atticus was the second to that, but Freya sadly haven't had the time to make new ones. That and she pointed out she had no more materials for the time being. They had to fight with what they had. However, Jesse didn't complain at all. He was just happy to have something to fight with. Unlike Yugi and the others, who had got their duel disk shut down. They had to fight with whatever they could find. Joey had armed himself with a branch. Mai had grabbed a whip she had hidden on her, and Yugi used Dimitri's rapier since he couldn't use it. The blast from hunter's hounddog had paralyzed him in some way. Jesse made a mental note to also avoid the dogs and their blasts too.

"Watch out!" Atticus then yelled and pushed Jesse down to the ground. A killer bee was flying straight passed him now. Fire roasted it soon however.

"Jesse are you okay?" Ember then said worriedly by his side. Jesse nodded and got up on his feets once again. He sighed deeply. Dogs and insects were all around them.

"We are having our backs against the wall" Jesse then sneered and backed slowly away "They have infinitely resources. Sooner or later we will give in".

"Well we have to make a plan" Aster said firmly and his back hit Jesse's "We can't just charge in there". They watched as Joey did exactly that. Lucky Mai grabbed him before anything terrible happened. The others sighed deeply.

"Well we must use our heads" Freya then sneered "What do we have? In a fight you always have to visualize. Just like a game of duel monsters".

"Oh and where do you know that from?" Joey sneered before Mai slammed him in the head. She wanted him to be quiet. Yugi looked at him.

"I see you are familiar with the game I see" the king of games then said "That or you must have some kind of warrior training".

"She has been a dueling pro once" Aster replied quickly for her "That is why". Freya snort in annoyings, but didn't reply him on that.

"I see" Yugi then replied slowly "Well Miss Freya since you say we need to visualize. What do you think we should do? Bringing the pieces of the puzzle together".

"Well we have a fire user, that is Ember, and a sensory user, that is Atticus" Freya said slowly and looked at both of them. Atticus looked stunned at her.

"Sensory what?" he questioned "What do you mean I am that? What is that?".

"You can sense enemies attacks" Freya replied "Don't deny it. I noticed it when you saved Jesse. You have caught on to enemies pattern haven't you? I believe it has something to do with that mask of yours". Atticus looked pale at her.

"Are you suggesting I put it on?" He then asked in a low voice. Freya snort.

"That is not my decision" she then replied. "It is your mask. Your powers. I am not in control of it. But beside Atticus here, we have a couple of fighters. That is all of you, and the rest being extras, as Ace and Dimitry". Yugi hummed a little.

"So what is the rules of the games of yours?" he then questioned "We are not really that useful without our duel disks". Freya sent a glare at him.

"Some resistance members you are" she sneered "You have relied to much on your duel disks to realize that there are other ways to fight. You are the king of games for goodness sake. Use your head".

Yugi looked stunned at her. His eyes narrowed a little. Then he began looking around without doing anything. Joey and Mai or the other people from the resistance had to cover him more than once.

"Pieces of a puzzle" he then mumbled "Each piece is fitting each other. In some way helping each other out. Which means.. our puzzle should get cleared too". The others looked puzzled at him. Jesse noticed Freya smirk though. She had some plan.

"I got it!" Yugi then uttered "Of course, why didn't I think for that sooner".

"What is it Yugi?" Joey questioned. Yugi grinned.

"Duel disk's. They have duel disks" he then yelled "We have been so focused on surviving, that we didn't think on how to win in the first place. It is so simple".

"Um okay" Joey then said "Care to fill me and the others in?". Jesse noticed how Yugi looked around on all of them. He had been caught up in thoughts that he hadn't noticed things around them. He smiled a sheepishly smile.

"Oh yeah sure. Well if we disarm them and take the duel disks, then they can't summon any monsters any longer" Yugi said analytically. The others sighed.

"That is easier said that done Yug" Joey said and pointed the army of monsters all around them. Yugi's eyes narrowed a little.

"We need an opening" Freya then said "A swift moment. A quick opening to just disemble him. If we do that we win". Aster hummed a little.

"Yeah add that to his partner as well" he then said. Freya nodded.

"He is easy. Considered Ember and her fire who can burn his insects to crisp" she then replied "I am more worried about the dogs. That doesn't effect them much. That and Trapper are not an idiot. We need a distraction to get him to let his guard down".

"Fine, I will be that. He has a nag for seeing me in pain" Jesse replied with a sigh. "Then someone has to go in there to disarm him".

"I will do that. I have the right weapon for it" Aster replied "Atticus, Freya says you can sense things, so you keep your eyes open. Then everyone else will protect you".

The others nodded eagerly. Ace was the only one who looked worried. She was close at Dimitri's side, but since she was only healer, she wasn't much help there. Jesse tightens his grip around the pole he was holding. The dogs barked at him and the insects were flying all around them. Jesse knew the two hunters were toying with them. He looked at Atticus who was looking around on every monster, and hunter in here. On Trapper and that intern Lucian. Then he made a quick nod. Jesse charged against the nearest dog, who also happens to be closest to Trapper. He pretended he was attacking him, but also was aware of the monsters around him.

"Trapper!" he yelled in an angry voice "Come out and fight me like a real man!".

"Ehehe you are such a moron Jesse" he could hear the hunter say, and like Jesse predicted one of the dogs attacked him.

Jesse jumped to the side to dodge the attack. Sadly another dog was now present to his blind side, and it pushed him, so he fell flat face into the ground. Jesse had luckily good reflects. He rolled around on his back and just managed to move his head a little when Trapper's dog, almost placed his palm at his head. He could hear the dog growl angrily. It was about to bite him, when Jesse managed to get the pole in between it's teeth and mouth. He could hear the dog chew on it, and drooling spit fell slowly down on him. Jesse felt rather lucky that it's spit was not acid, but he still felt like he wanted to take a bath when this was over. If they survived this. Jesse shook his head a little. Of course they would survive this.

"They have a weak point underneath the stomach" said a voice then suddenly.

Jesse looked stunned around. It had sounded like a girl's voice. But there were no one around. Ember and Ace was too far away, and second, it hadn't really sounded like them. However Jesse hadn't the time to think much about this. He didn't want to be this dog's new chewing toy. With quick moments, he lifted one of his leg and with all his strength, he kicked it in the stomach. A surprising growl could be heard from the blast hound dog now. It fell backwards and hit the ground pretty hard. Jesse was quickly up on his feets and was holding his pole at the dog, pushing it into the ground so it couldn't get up. Jesse smirked coldly.

"Ha Trapper, I defeated your stupid dog!" he then yelled "Just retreat now, before it's get embarrassed for you. Leave us and the resistance alone.

"Ehehe impressive" he could hear Trapper say "But you are forgetting a tiny little thing. Actually two. When you have defeated one of my dogs, a new one instantly takes it's place. That and I have 4 more. Which reminds me, those friends of yours. They aren't that useful any longer".

Sounds from a blast could be heard and Jesse felt pain hit his body. Jesse let out a scream when the blast from the hounddog's blaster hit him. However that was not was really shocked him. He noticed that two other people also got hit. Aster and Atticus was like him, lying paralyzed on the ground.

"Aster, Atticus!" Jesse then whispered before his body also became unmovable.

"Now what you do now?" he could hear Trapper say and then he laughed like hell. Jesse groaned in pain. He wouldn't want to admit it out loud, but he had a feeling they were all doomed.

Yugi's p.o.v.

Yugi and the others looked in horror when the blasts hit their comrades and made them immobilized. Only few could fight now. That was Ember, Freya, Mai, Joey, Ace and Yugi himself. That was not really good odds. Even though Ember and Freya had disarmed Lucian Grimley, there were still 5 dogs of Trapper's left. They felt rather overpowered. Even if they beat one of the dogs, the effect of the hound dogs made it possible for Trapper, just to summon a new one from his deck. Yugi was rather sure Trapper's deck was filled with Blast Hound's actually. Maybe a few traps and spells, but the rest was those dogs. If this had been a real duel monster battle, Trapper's deck would be rather unbalanced, and a violations to the rules, but since this wasn't a battle, cheaters like Trapper could do as he pleased. Yugi clenched his hands. This was not how Duel monsters should be. It was not supposed to be used as a tool of evil powers. Not any longer. Not after Atem got rid of the shadow games in the past.

"Ehehe so are you going to surrender now?" Trapper then asked. Joey sneered.

"Not in a lifetime ugly" he then yelled at Trapper "We will never give up!".

"Oh really? But look around you. You are surrounded by my blast hounds, and your precious fighters are all immobilized. What can you possible do right now?" Trapper mocked and then tsk "Which reminds me, Lucian get your lazy ass over here, before I kick it over here". Lucian, the intern who they had manage to disarm, was leaning up at one of the trees, and was dodging Ember's small fireballs, looked over at Trapper, with an annoyed look.

"In a moment sir, I just have to get out of range of this fire girl" he then replied and jumped out of the way, when Ember attacked him again.

Yugi sighed deeply. They may have disarmed him, but Lucian had made sure to shut down his own duel disk with one of those balls of his. They couldn't use it. They were trapped. Littery! Trapper was just toying with them. His dogs could easily blast all of them to the ground now. However for some reason he even let them grab the immobilized crews and gather them over at Ace. It was like he wanted to play a little more with them.

"Well that was that" Freya snort "I knew we shouldn't have made that Tara girl our leader. Look what she got us into. That was that freedom". Joey sneered angry.

"Hey I refuse to give up" he yelled "There must be something we can do. And don't you dare talk about my Niece like that". He was glare at Freya now. Freya just snort and arms crossed. She didn't say anything more though. Yugi sneered.

"If we just could use our decks" he said "Then I would show him!".

"Well looks like I have to do this" Ace then said and sighed "I had hoped this never happened though. I swore to myself that as long as I stayed in this world where Banner is, that I would never ever use it. The less he knows the better".

"What do you mean Child?" Mai questioned. They all turned towards Ace who walked slowly over to them. She looked sad and determined at the same time.

"I am not as helpless as I look like" Ace said and sighed "There is a reason Banner wants his hands on me, and that is not because I am his test subject".

"So you can do something special?" Joey questioned "Then why didn't you do it in the first place? We need all the help we can get". Ace snort a little.

"I don't know you" she said slowly "I only give those ability to people I trust. That is Ember, Tara and Jesse so far. If it wasn't for our dire situation, I wouldn't have used this at all. However I want to protect my friends". Ember looked stunned at her, and that made Lucian escape. Freya sneered angry.

"Look what you did fire girl" she yelled "You let him escape!". Ace shook her head.

"Doesn't matter. We only need to defeat Trapper right?" she then questioned. The others nodded confused. Ace sighed and looked at Yugi.

"Okay out of all of you, the king of games is the only one I trust enough to do this with" she then replied "Place your hand at my shoulder and choose a monster from your deck. Chose wisely, you only get one shot. Tell me when you have chosen a monster".

Yugi looked puzzled at her, but now was not the time to argue or asking questions. He quickly grabbed his deck from the duel disk and roamed through the cards. Trapper, who figured out they were doing something, quickly made his dogs attack. The others quickly protected Yugi and Ace for the time being. They could only delay the dogs for a very short time.

"Here. This card!" Yugi then said and was holding it up "We only had one shot, so this is the most easiest and strongest magician I got". Ace nodded and began chanting. Light began appearing in her hands now.

"I summon thee to this world" they could hear Ace say "Beyond the gate of monsters and into this world of the humans. I call fought, Yugi say it's name!".

"Dark magician of chaos!" he said quickly. He had a hunch what was going on now.

Then in front of them at the ground, light appeared. They all covered their eyes for a minute. When they opened their eyes, the duel monster was standing in front of them. The dark magician of chaos. The monster looked puzzled around.

"Who summoned me?" he then questioned. Ace looked at Yugi and smiled.

"I did" Yugi then said. He couldn't believe his monster had come alive without a duel disk. The monster turned around and looked at him.

"Ah the king of games" it then said "Then I have no objections. You are a very kind user of games. If it were one of those evildoers, then I will burn them to crisp. Especially since I was summoned with this way of magic. What do you wish of me Master Yugi?".

Yugi looked stunned at the magician. Then at Ace. Magic? She summoned it here with Magic? Is she an evil witch? Then he shook his head. That was not important right now.

"If you would be so kind, Dark magician of chaos, to destroy this duelist's monsters and capture him and disarm him" Yugi then said and pointed at Trapper and the dogs.

"As you wish Master Yugi" the magician then said and energy got charged into the magician's scepter. "Sceptor strike!".

A blue lightning ball appeared and got fired towards the dog's and Trapper. Yugi and the others looked in awe when the magician blasted all the blast hounds away with one strike. Then with quick footwear the magician was in front of Trapper and his intern. Chaos grabbed Trapper in the collar in his shirt, and was holding up the hunter in midair. He took away his duel disk.

"What shall I do with him?" Chaos asked "I could burn him to crisp..".

"Maybe not that drastic" Yugi then said. Joey grinned.

"What about tossing him and that Intern into the cage of that wagon" Joey then suggested "Then he can feel how all the prisoners he had taken had it".

"Not bad" Yugi commented "But I just have some few questions for him first. Like how to cure that paralysis your dog's caused on our friends".

"I am not saying a thing" Trapper sneered "Even if you knew, it will make no different. You might all manage to escape now, but as long as Kagemaru and the beasts live, you will never be truly free. So live as those rats you are eheh".

"Actually now I prefer him burned to crisp now" Freya then sneered "He is not gonna tell us anything anyway". Yugi sighed deeply. That girl was problematic alright.

"No, I give him one more chance" he then said "Then we will burn him to crisp".

Trapper snort coldly and tried turning his head away. He really wasn't going to tell them. Yugi sighed. Very well, he leaves me no choice! He was about to make Chaos attack when a new voice spoke.

"Oh that is a easy question, Yugi muto, or should I call you King of games?". They all turned towards the sound, and saw a new man just entering the clearing.

"Well the blasters effect get's inactive after some couple of hours. After all we doesn't want our captives to stay in that state forever" the man continued "The same with your duel disks, if you are interested". Trapper sneered in annoyings.

"Viper, you're babbling idiot. Don't just stand there. Get me out of here!" he then yelled in quite an angry tone. Yugi's eyes widened. Another hunter?! Viper chuckled.

"Oh after that insult, I actually think I will let you hang there a little while longer" he then said "Is that how you greet a man, who is the only one who can get you two out of this mess? I told you to not underestimate them". Trapper snort in annoyings.

"Well does that really matter" he sneered "Just get me down from here". He had just said that when Yugi asked Chaos to do just that. Trapper let out a tiny yelp when he fell to the ground. They could hear Lucian giggle a little.

"Joey keep a watch on them" Yugi then said and looked at Viper. Then he looked at Chaos "Please take care of him too, before he causes us some trouble".

"As you wish" Chaos then replied and rushed forward to attack Viper.

"I hope you reconsider King" Viper then said and chuckled "After all you don't want anything happening to those two, would you? Show yourself my king and Queen".

The next that happened, well Yugi could memorize it forever. Two giant snakes appeared inside the clearing. Yugi knew them as the duel cards "Vennominaga the deity of poisonous snakes" and "Vennominon the king of poisonous snakes", and they were carrying three people. Yugi was sure he was pale as a ghost now. Maiyo, Tara and Chancellor Sheppard was tied up by those monstrosities. Sheppard, by the king, and Tara and Maiyo by the queen. Maiyo and Sheppard was both wide awake, but gagged by some snakes from their snake like bodies. Tara on the other hand was unconscious, so they didn't need to gag her. Maiyo and Sheppard looked at them with scared eyes.

"Ahr Chaos stop, don't hurt him!" Yugi then yelled. He didn't know what to do now.

"Maiyo! Tara!" Joey yelled angry and clenched his fists "Give them back your creep". He rushed forward to attack and free them. Viper snort coldly.

"One more step, and they are done for" Viper then said and as an example Vennominaga placed one of her snake like locks near the girls head now. Joey stopped instantly up. He didn't want any harm happening to his family.

"Your creepy coward" Mai yelled "Release my daughter right this instance".

"Wait, you wouldn't do this" Yugi then yelled "Tara.. they are suppose to be captured alive. Don't tell me all this with Trapper here was an distraction". Trapper laughed.

"Of course it was" he then said "We are not stupid. We knew the real Tara Yuki would never show. She is to precious to you. We did our homework".

"And why settle with one piece when you can have the whole cake" Viper then continued "Although some few escaped me, but with the haul we got here, I think Kagemaru would be rather pleased". Ember sneered in annoyings.

"Why are you doing this? Don't know you the rulers in the kingdom are ruthless and evil" she then yelled at them. Viper and Trapper both smirked.

"We don't care little missy. As long as we can get paid and get money on the table, we don't complain" Trapper then said and grinned "That and it is rather funny. Hunting humans instead of some few mindless animals".

"You creeps. I hope you end in hell when you die" Ace then sneered.

"Listen, I don't have all day" Viper then said "Either you surrender and come with us to the nearest penitentiary, or you fight and risk lives of your loved ones".

"I don't think so" Mai then said and grabbed hold in Trapper's shoulder "We got your partner as well. I suggest an exchange". At that Trapper actually laughed a little.

"Oh that is so kind of you sweetheart" he then said in a mocking tone "But you see we are the best in the business. We don't have attachment towards each other, but hey try if you want. Kill me if you want. I know Viper doesn't care about us. Only the cold cash interest him". Viper smirked at that.

"Yes that is how hunters works in this world, but by all means take the gamble if you like. Then I can get the pleasure of killing your precious daughter in the process. After all Kagemaru wants Tara Yuki alive. Everyone else over here doesn't matter" he then explained. Yugi clenched his hands. They really was tied into a corner.

"I.. I, fine!" he then sneered angry "We surrender. Just don't harm any of them. Not here or in the penitentiary". Viper hummed a little.

"That may can be arranged, but first I want that spellcaster gone" he replied "That and you all in chains. Then I will release them". Yugi sighed deeply.

"Chaos I am sorry. Your job here is done" he then told the magician. Chaos nodded.

"I am terrible sorry Master Yugi" then he disappeared out of the blue.

"Lucian, chain them" Trapper then said "And remember red iron for those who has special abilities. I will go get the immobilized fools".

He pointed at Jesse and his group. Lucian nodded and before the group knew it, they were chained with some shackles on hands at feets now. They were even collared, with collars in different colors. Lucian pulled in the lightweight chains, he was having on them and seconds later they were all tossed inside that giant cage at Trapper's wagon. Viper kept his word and made his snakes let go of Maiyo, Tara and Sheppard, even though that was tossing them inside the wagon as well. Maiyo rushed over and hugged her parents.

"I am so sorry father" she said with tears running down her cheeks "I brought you into all of this. If we hadn't been captured all of this wouldn't have happened".

"Shh it's okay" Mai said and roamed a hand through her hair "Stuff like that happens". Jóey sneered angry. ¨

"Yeah how should we know that there were one creepy hunter left" he said and glared at Viper through the cage "But mark my words, one day I will beat your butt".

"Well you can try" Viper said and shrugged "I have heard treats like that one before. What you should worry about is what Kagemaru wants with you". Joey sneered, but he didn't reply him. Yugi had crawled over to Tara, to be sure she was okay. She was still unconscious, but beside that everything was fine. Sheppard sneered in annoyings.

"He defeated us all" he then said "Viper is an surprisingly good duelist. However Tara wouldn't give up, so in the end Viper knocked her out". Yugi nodded. He had figured out that much too. Trapper returned and tossed Aster, Dimitri, Atticus and Jesse in here too. He smirked evilly.

"Well that was all of.. wait.. the girl. The blond complaining girl is not here!" he then uttered. "She must have escaped while Lucian chained the others". Yugi and the others looked stunned around. Freya was actually missing.

"Does it matter?" Viper said coldly and shrugged "She was not one of the wanted . I don't think the slave tribes would give a good price for her anyway. Let's just leave, so I can contact Kagemaru and the other rulers in the penitentiary". Trapper nodded.

"Sure" he replied and jumped inside on the driver seat. Viper joined him on the other side. Lucian was about to get in too, when Trapper pushed him away.

"You are gonna sit in the bag kid" he then said and pointed at the cages. "Make sure they don't do anything stupid". Lucian looked a little scared now. Then he nodded. However the others could hear him mumble something like "Just because I did one mistake. Geez!". Then he got inside the cage. Yugi had a hunch Lucian actually figured that they were gonna beat the crap out of him, but the others just ignored them. Soon they drove away.

A,N: Well that was the end of the hunter part. I sure you never guessed they would be captured lol. However it is rather important to the plot. The next chapters are with a little of the penitentiary. The rulers of the kingdom, with a little twist of the restly resistance. That and you find out what Ace truly is.
