Jesse's p.o.v.

Time skip. At the hideout.

Jesse was sitting in a chair at the table in this surprisingly big cottage. Jesse had a feeling that the cottage was surrounded by magic. In some way Yugi Muto's deck. Jesse was not a sorcerer by any means, but he knew magic when he saw it. In Titan's kingdom, the demon kingdom, Jesse had seen his share of it. As a servant in that kingdom, he had seen demons use magic as well as how to avoid it. The demons loved playing with the servants you see. He had a feeling Yugi's spellcasters, mostly Dark magician, properly kept the cottage secure and and spacious. After all the cottage could hold all of them and still have place to more people. At least in his eyes. Jesse looked at the king of games, who was sitting in that arm chair and actually looked really tired. He must admit he had thought Yugi was some kind of amazingly hero, that could do anything, and once they found him, every problem would be solved. Or so was the stories from his home when he was a little kid. The great stories about Yugi Muto and his friends. He knew deep down that he might have been too optimistic here. After all heroes was hard to come by.

"So you all came here because you needed my help?" Yugi then asked and sighed. He leaned back in the arm chair. All of the resistance members nodded.

"Please Yugi, help us" Tara then pledged and bowed her head. Jesse and the others followed as well. Yugi sighed deeply.

"So what do you need my help for?" he then questioned.

Tara was about to reply him when the door to one of the room got open, and a groggy long blond haired girl with blue eyes, stuck her head out. Jesse's eyes widened. Who was she?

"What is all this noise? Can't a girl get her beauty sleep?" she questioned angry. Then she noticed everyone else there and her eyes widened. She also blinked a little.

"Tara, is that you?" she then said slowly and walked inside in the room. Tara smiled.

"Maiyo, how are you?" she questioned. Maiyo looked a little dumbfounded at her.

"Oh Tara, how have I missed you" she said and hugged her "Finally a female beside my mother in this dumb". Jesse eyed this new girl a little. Then he looked over all the other members. With Ace, Freya, Tara and his beloved Ember, he figured there were enough females right now.

"You always been dramatical" Tara replied and gave her a quick hug. Jesse noticed that Maiyo finally looked around and noticed the others around here.

"What is going on here?" she questioned "Are we gathering troops now?".

"Not quite" Joey replied "Or I don't hope that is the case. Yug can't keep us all here save forever. Not with this large number". Jesse eyes widened. So even Yugi the legendary duelist couldn't keep them safe? Then what was there to do? Jesse shook his head. He was not about to give up. He was fighting for his friends.

"They are from the resistance" Yugi replied and looked at Maiyo "Tara is apparently now leader and seeks our help..".

"Then give it to her!" Maiyo said firmly "If my cousin asks for help, then we will naturally give it to her. You are not denying her this Yugi. Family sticks together or is that also a lie". Jesse was a little surprised by that. This Maiyo girl had just as much willpower as Tara. No wonder they were related. Yugi chuckled a little.

"Of course not, family stick together" He replied "I haven't denied Tara anything, but she was about to tell me her problem, when you interrupted". Jesse couldn't stop smiling a little, when Maiyo's eyes widened. She looked from Yugi to Tara, then she looked a little embarrassed.

"Oh okay, um I think I will sit down and listen then" she said and took a chair beside her family, Pegasus and chancellor Sheppard. Tara grinned a little.

"Well we um need your help with identifying a Item" she then began and then looked over at Jesse and Ember. Jesse looked at Ember who was sitting nervously at his side.

"Are you ready?" he questioned.

He knew Ember was nervous. She had been that since they arrived here. Because of the crystal and it's secret. Ember took a deep breath and squeezed his hand a little. Then she nodded. They walked over to them. Ember showed Yugi the crystal. Jesse began explaining how they stole the crystal and the demon kingdom. Dimitri and the resistance made their input about how they lost Jim and Hassleberry when they spied on Titan and his men in Australia. Dimitri even showed the device he stored with the mysterious letters on. When they were done telling the story, Yugi looked thoughtful for a second.

"Pegasus, doesn't these signs remind you of something" he then said. He gave the device to Pegasus. The long silver haired male was thoughtful for a minute.

"Well if I do recall Yugi boy, we saw something similar in egypt some years ago" he then said. Yugi nodded. Jesse looked surprised at them. Egypt, but that is somewhere in afrika. He wondered if they needed to go there now. Ember looked puzzled as well. Pegasus hummed a little.

"However the letters, even I was unable to read them and I research in archeology" he then said "It is written in a language I sadly don't know". Jesse sighed deeply. That sounded like a clue who they couldn't get cleared.

"But add that we were on the run at that time, you might could solve it now, if you were given the time for it" Sheppard then suddenly said. Pegasus hummed.

"It might well be" he replied and shrugged "I could give it a try again I suppose, if we ever hit Egypt that is". The others nodded in agreement.

"Then what about Ember's crystal" Tara questioned "You have a sorcerers deck Yugi, can't you examine it?". Jesse looked at the crystal, Ember was holding.

"Well I could give it a try" he said and placed Dark magician and girl on the disk. The two magicians appeared inside the cottage. Jesse looked in awe. He was really meeting both Dark Magician and girl on the same day.

"Mahad, Mana, would you mind examine this crystal?" Yugi then asked. The two magicians looked at him and nodded. Mahad pointed with his staff at Mana. In some way say "You go", and the girl approached happily the crystal. However as soon as she came close to it, she froze suddenly. She looked at Ember.

"I can't master Yugi, it won't let me" She then said and rushed quickly over to dark magician. It was like she was scared or something. Jesse and the others looked puzzled at her. Yugi looked up at his magicians.

"What do you mean Mana?" he questioned. "It? Who is that?".

"The monster inside the crystal" Dark magician then replied and swung his staff "There is a demon inside. I feel strong dark energies from it".

"Wait what?" Ember replied and dropped the crystal to the floor "Demon!". Jesse was as surprised as Ember was right now. Surprisingly the crystal stopped up in midair. It floated over to Ember once again and slided itself into the bag at Ember's belt.

"And it looks like the demon inside there, chose this girl as its vessel" Mahad continued "I am not sure why, but someone locked this demon inside a crystal. Now the demon has to rely on a human partner to well survive". Ember looked shocked at them. She looked like she was about to faint. Jesse placed protective arms around her.

"So are you saying, Ember is turning into a demon?" He then asked angrily "I don't want that. I lost two friends already. I don't want to lose Ember to a demon as well".

"No, the girl Ember as you call her, are not turning demon. Not now. She is a wessel, not a host. They are coexisting. This crystalised demon chose her for some reason. It must have sensed something in her. No one else but the chosen one can pick it up" Mahad replied "However she is now a human, who can use a demon's powers. Hear my warning child. With great power comes great responsibilities". Ember still looked a little shocked, but she nodded. Jesse looked puzzled at the magician.

"But, I have two friends who has two similar crystals, but I am sure they didn't decide becoming wessels to demons" Jesse replied angry "They are called hybrids by others and can shapeshift and stuff".

"I can't reply you on that. What I know is that this girl is human, with demon powers, but your friends, I can't say. You have to find the answer on your own" The magician replied "But remember this, the demon here is not to blame. It is as much as a victim here as your so called friends. It didn't chose to get sealed away".

Jesse was a little surprised by that. However now that he thought about it, Dark magician was right. It was not the one to blame. Jesse nodded. He clenched one of his hands. Titan, he is the one to blame. Yugi thanked the magicians and they soon disappeared into the card. The others looked a little stunned at each other. Who could blame them. Ember had apparently got chosen by a demon who was living inside the crystal.

"Em?" Jesse questioned worried "How are you?". Ember sniffed a little and rubbed her face. Then she looked determined at Jesse.

"Fine" she then said and smiled a little "Now I know why I can use fire, and well we found out a lot. Demon inside the crystal. At least I am not a demon, that was the only thing I was afraid off". She hugged Jesse a little. Yugi smiled.

"Yes, I believe that is the main concern" he replied "But I am still worried about Titan and his plans with these crystals". The others nodded.

"Well we got that solved, but what is next then?" Atticus replied and looked at Tara.

"Well we got that lead in Egypt, but if no one of us can read it then.." Tara began.

"Don't worry Tara, we will go with you" Yugi said and looked at the others "Isn't that right you guys? We are gonna help them out?". Joey grinned.

"Oh yeah, finally some time for some adventure" He replied. Maiyo smiled happily.

"Anything that can stop Kagemaru, I gladly help you" Sheppard said.

"Fine, but what about all the food I got from my dad?" Chumley then said "It is not licious to toss away good food". Syrus grinned and hit his shoulder.

"That's the Chumley I know" He replied and grinned. Then his stomach rumbled.

"Okay, we gonna have some dinner to the kids" Yugi replied and grinned "Then a good nights rest and early in the morning, we are gonna find a way to get to egypt". Everyone let out a happy cheer to that. Jesse couldn't stop smiling. The things really began looking bright now. However Jesse didn't know how wrong he could be.

Axel's p.o.v.

Axel leaned his back at the wall. His head lied at a pillow who was placed up at the wall as well, and a blanket was wrapped around him. To keep him warm. He was suppose to sleep, but couldn't. Everyone else was sleeping tightly. Yugi was snoring from the armchair, Tara was also sound asleep beside him, but there was really no surprise there. It was in the middle of the night after all. After the dinner from Chumley they had decided on a plan for what to do next. Chumley had surprisingly told them that his father had sent him away from home in other to keep him safe. He had asked Tara if he could join the resistance and Tara had accept. To Freya's dismay. Then they had all decided to sleep a little before they began the journey to Egypt. The continent of Africa. Axel sighed a little. He was not really happy about going. He had of course agreed. If Tara was going, he was following. It was that simple. However Axel was still a little hesitating about going. He was from that continent. He was a citizen of Africa. He was not living in egypt of course, but it was his home continent. I haven't been home in ages. Wonder how father has it? Or the people in the village. And mother.. Axel looked up in the ceiling. A snore from Atticus who was lying at the floor, could be heard now. They were all stuffed inside the living room. Few of them like Ember and Jesse had gotten the honor of sleeping inside Maiyo's room with her parents because of space problems. Mostly because Ember was a little emotionally. Even though she says she is fine. Everyone else from the resistance was lying here in the living room and was sleeping. Axel couldn't keep himself from smiling. His comrades was so carefree in their sleep. He looked up in the ceiling again. Father, would you be proud of me? Would you like the way my life has turned out? He turned towards Tara with a tiny smile on his lips. Would you agree on my decision of protecting her? He sighed a little. He wasn't sure if his father would approve of anything. But mother would be proud. I am sure of it. Wonder how she is in heaven? She is in heaven for sure. Axel sighed again. His mother died in a car crash many years ago. It was before Kagemaru even took control of this world. He was very young, but Axel still remembered the flames from the car and the gas explosion when the fire hit the gasoline. She had been stuck in the car for some reason. Axel had been in the car as well, however his mother had tossed him out of the car, before the fire had hit the gasoline. His father had tried saving her of course, but it had been too late at that time. Some couple days later there was a funeral in honor of her name. Axel and everyone else in the village had cried of course. There wasn't anyone who didn't like his mother. She was kind, caring, loving and helpful. One of the reason Axel knew she was in heaven. He still remembered some of the things she always told him when he was little. She had always hugged him when he had returned with his father after a hunting trip and called him 'Her little warrior'. Correction she had called Axel and his father 'her two brave warriors'. His father was the chef of the village. It was for that reason Axel wanted to become a warrior when he grew up. Just like his father. However because of certain events later on, Axel had left the village. It was something he didn't want to think and talk about.

Suddenly Axel got abrupt out of his thoughts. A weird sound could suddenly be heard. Axel was not sure what that was, but it annoyed him to no end. What is that? It's annoying. He looked around. There were nothing out of the ordinary, but Axel had this weird feeling. Something is wrong here. Something is off. He was about to get up and wake the others around him up, when he finally noticed it. Close beside Tara was tiny, tiny insect. Or at first Axel thought it was an insect. It was the size of a mosquito and also looked like it, but Axel completely sure that was not a mosquito. A mosquito was not buzzing that sound, and secondly it was not metalic either.

"Tara watch out!" he yelled as loud as he could and pushed her out of the way. This weird insect was having sting at the end and was heading for her. A metallic insect heading for her could never be a good thing. Tara woke slowly up with groggy eyes.

"Hmm what is happening?" she questioned. Axel groaned weakly.

"We are being attacked" he whispered and groaned in pain. The stinger from the mosquito was stuck in his right arm. Then he passed out.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was not sure what had happened at first. She had been having a dreamless sleep. That until she heard Axel's voice yelling "Tara, watch out". She had just opened her eyes and saw Axel push her out of the way. Seconds later he fell forwards towards her. He was groaning in pain and some weird insect was stuck in his arm.

"Axel!" she yelled up rather shocked "What is happening?".

"We are being attacked" he whispered and then he passed out. Tara looked shocked at the scene. She quickly tried shaking him awake.

"Axel! You got to wake up! You can't leave me now. Axel!" she yelled in panic.

The loud outbursts from Tara had quickly woken everyone up in the cottage. Yugi was the first one and the also first to be by her side. He had ready duel disk and was looking around. He also removed the metal insect from Axel's arm and was giving it to Mokuba, who quickly examined it. Axel groaned a little. Tara sighed relieved. He was at least not dead. The others quickly assembled around them. Mai was examine the wound and everything was kind of confusing as of yet. Tara was still a little shocked too. She couldn't believe Axel had saved her life.

"Tara, what happened?" Joey then asked and shook her a little "Tell me what happened?". Tara looked at him and nodded. She began telling everything she knew. With the bug and Axel protecting her. Joey sneered and looked around.

"Okay, is there any other bugs around here?" he then said.

"No, I have checked" Yugi said and sneered "How could it come in? I protected the place with a..". Then he began cursing a little. The others looked at him.

"What is it Yug?" Joey questioned. Yugi sighed and walked over to the bug at the table. Mokuba was studying it right now. He picked it up.

"I knew it" he sneered "I only placed a spell to protect us from living creatures, vampires included, but not machine like objects. How could I be so stupid".

"Not your fault Yug. We never been encountered by machines before" Joey replied and sneered "But this is rather frustrating".

Then laugher could suddenly be heard and they all went silent. Suddenly the insect in Yugi's hand began moving. Yugi quickly let go of it, so he didn't get stung. The others quickly were ready with whatever weapon they could find. The laughter was coming from the insect.

"Ehehe, right you are, king. We figured you only protected them with a living spell. Well my machines aren't living as you can see" a voice then said from the machine.

"Who are you?" Yugi questioned and looked at the insect.

"Trapper!" sneered Jesse suddenly. He was clenching Ember's hand "What did you do to Axel?". The man, Trapper laughed again from the insect.

"Hello Jesse. Long time no see. I heard you ran away again. Tsk, tsk, you really never learn, do you boy" Trapper then said and grinned "Wasn't captured by me once enough for you?". Jesse sneered angry. Tara looked at Jesse. Then at Ember.

"Jesse knows the hunter?" Tara questioned. Ember sighed and nodded.

"They go way back. To around where the 5 kingdoms were just made. People ran away all the time. Wanting their freedom from the different places. Etc. slave tribes and well other places like the demon kingdom" She then began explaining "Kagemaru didn't have that much order in his police force at that time, so he announced a hunting competition between self proclaimed hunters and slave tribes..".

"And the best ended working for him" Trapper finished and grinned again "Jesse ran away too, with his little girlfriend. However they got seperated, and I caught him. Along with a lot of other people. We had such a fun time". Jesse sneered angry.

"No we didn't. You just loved beating me up at the penitentiary" he said coldly "But no more chit chat, what did you do to Axel?". Trapper laughed.

"It seems like I hit the wrong target, but oh well. He has been poisoned. I guess he has about day more or less to live" he then said. The others looked shocked around.

"However I am not unreasonable. I do have an antidote" Trapper then said and Tara could swear that he was smirking "All you have to do is making the wanted surrender, at it will be yours. That stupid boy shouldn't have meddled. He wasn't even wanted. I only target people with bounties over their heads". Tara sneered angry.

"Where to find you Trapper?" she then asked "I don't presume you are waiting outside our doorstep". Laugher could be heard again.

"You are are sharp kid Tara Yuki. I will give you my locations" Trapper replied and grinned again "That is if you survive the self destruct device on my insect robot. You have 30 seconds. See yer". Then a timer appeared on the insect.

"Shit, we need to get rid of that thing fast" Joey said and grabbed the device.

"How?" Mai yelled after him "30 seconds, you will never make it to the windows".

"I will make it happen" Joey yelled. Maiyo and Mai, as well as the others looked shocked at him. Tara was not liking this at all. There were 10 seconds left. Joey hadn't even managed over there yet. We all looked in horror.

"Give me that" said Ember then suddenly and grabbed the device and ran a little away from the other "Leave that to me". That was the last thing she said, before the device blew up and we all got hit by a shockwave created by the explosion.

"Ember!" yelled Jesse, got up and rushed towards all the smoke to find her. A coughing voice could then be heard and Ember walked out of the smoke with a stunned Jesse at her side. She looked relative unharmed. The others looked puzzled.

"How? Was that a trick of the trapper?" Jesse questioned confused. Ember shook her head and was holding up the blade she had gotten from Freya. Freya snort.

"Of course, you used the blade to absorb the fire. That's why you are unharmed" she concluded "But kind of reckless to use my weapons like that, hmf, you could have been killed".

Tara looked a little surprised at Freya. It sounds like.. does that mean she actually cares? Then Tara shrugged. She might never know. Yugi and and the others from his group eyed Freya a little, but they didn't say anything. Tara sighed. She looked at Axel who was lying beside her. He was still breathing, but it sounded really weak. Tara had of course protected him when the blast had appeared and Axel didn't get to badly hurt. Not more than he already were with that poison in him. Tara looked worried at him and clenched her fists. Then she got up and grabbed her backpack.

"Tara? Where are you going?" Aster then questioned. Everyone looked at her.

"Out!" she said and hanged up in Axel "Don't try to stop me".

"You are not gonna do what I think you are doing" Aster said shocked "You are really gonna go there. To the hunter. That is crazy".

"Hmf of all the stupid plans you ever had Tara, this takes the top" Freya said "Can't you see they are luring us out there". Tara snort.

"Axel is my friend and he saved my life" she replied just as coldly "I am going to save him. Even if I have to sacrifice myself in the process to do it". She began walking. The others looked at at her.

"Grab her! Don't let her do something that foolish" Aster then said and well everyone surprisingly grabbed her and Axel and forced Tara down on the floor where she was struggling like hell. It was no use with Joey and Aster pushing her down. '

"Ahr, let me go!" yelled Tara like hell "I thought friends stuck together. If we don't go Axel will die. Is that what you want?". Yugi hummed a little.

"No, we don't, but we need to use our heads here, just not rush into things here" he reminded her and was thoughtful "Hmm Trapper surely thinks one of us is knocked out because of his insect. That blast was only to knock one of us out...hmm". Tara was still struggling at the floor. Then Dimitri suddenly began laughing.

"I think I have a plan" he then said and grinned.

Normal P.o.v.

Time skip.

Tara walked through the landscape towards the coordinates Trapper has given them. In her arms she was carrying a weak Axel. He was stripped of his armor and was now dressed in a black pants and boots. Was having a red tank top on, and a golden pendant around his neck. Tara didn't know what it was, but she knew it was important to Axel. He had told her that once, when she had asked. For that reason they haven't taken it off him yet. Joey had given him one of his jackets, to cover his bare arms. It was rather cold outside. Axel was gasping a lot because of the poison. Tara knew if she didn't get the antidote, he would surely die soon. She was of course not letting this happen. Axel gasped again.

"Tara" he whispered weakly "Leave me. I am not worth it". Tara shook her head.

"You are my friend and have always protected me Axel" she then said and smiled a tiny weak smile "Let me return the favor".

Axel gasped again and closed his eyes. He didn't reply her. Tara knew he couldn't change his mind anyway. Soon they arrived at their location. The clearing from before. The clearing she and the others meet Yugi and the others. Tara was a little surprised. When the insect exploded, a bigger insect machine had tapped at the window with a tracking device who showed Trapper's location. They had taken it. There were not much to do after all. They needed the antidote. Or Tara did so she could save Axel. She looked around.

"Hello Trapper!" Tara then yelled "I am here! Now show yourself!".

A roaming sound could be heard and a giant jep formed wagon appeared. A high tech system was strapped to it. A giant cage with net and looked really high tech too, was tied to the wagon and it made Tara gulp a little. She wondered how many people had been trapped in there already. Trapper jumped out of the wagon with a smirk. Then he looked around, and his eyes narrowed slowly.

"Only you kid?" he then questioned "You and the injured boy who saved your life".

"Yes only me. The others wouldn't want to help me" Tara then sneered "They said it was a suicide mission". At that Trapper laughed evilly.

"You don't say, but tell me kid, what am I supposed to do with you eh?" he then said and shrugged "You and that injured teammate of yours". Tara sneered angry.

"Heal him of course" she then yelled "You had the antidote. The antidote in exchange of me. I have a bounty on my head after all". Trapper laughed his insane laughter.

"Oh and you believe I would just give my bargain tool away so easily?" he then questioned "You are right, you are having a bounty on your head, and even though I would get a nice bounty by capturing you, I have specific orders. Kagemaru gives an extra bonus, if I claim Ace as well. Ace, Jesse and Ember. That assignment Chazz the executor couldn't handle". Tara bit her lip. This was not good news.

"Then capture me and use me as that bargain tool" Tara then said slowly "Just please heal Axel. He is innocent. Jesse told me you don't target the innocent. Your only good trait". Trapper laughed evilly.

"Oh Jesse has gossiped about me?" he then said and grinned "How sweet. Yes it is true. I don't target the innocent, but the boy jumped in between. So it is none of my business any longer. You don't have anything else to give me". Tara snort coldly.

"Oh I do" she then said and began changing form. A boy dressed in resistance clothes was now appearing in front of them "Like give you the real Tara Yuki. After all I the copycat Dimitry doesn't give much of a bounty".

Trapper looked a little annoyed at him. Then he smirked a little. He also began laughing like hell. Before Dimitri could do or say anything, a ball of fire hit him. Dimitri groaned in pain and fell to the ground. He also let go Axel. A growling sound could be heard behind him. Dimitri looked behind him and found a giant dog with blasters on it's back.

"Meet my infernal blast hound" Trapper then introduced and smirked. The giant dog growled angry at Dimitri as well. Dimitri backed a little away from the dog.

"Nice doggy" he then said slowly. Trapper then grinned a little. A technologist duel disk was shown on his hand now. He had apparently summoned it.

"He doesn't do you anything unless I say so kid" Trapper then explained "But if you want to get away in one piece you might tell me where your so call friends are. I am not interested in small flies". A snort could be heard now and a group of people walked out from the trees. Dimitri noticed 7 people walking out in the clearing.

"I told you I could handle it!" Dimitri sneered "So why meddle?".

"OH yeah you totally could handle it" Freya sneered "This is the worst plan ever".

"Now, now Freya, give him a least a chance to redeem himself" Aster then said and drew his sword "We did find the tracker on him after all". The others had drawn their weapons as well. Trapper hummed a little.

"Only 8 of you, plus the injured one" He then said and snort "You are also also missing your leader Tara Yuki. Care to explain". Jesse snort coldly.

"Tara Yuki is not showing Trapper" he then replied "Aren't you getting a little greedy now? Aren't we 7 enough? Give us that antidote and heal our friend, your dog doesn't stand a chance against us". Atticus chuckled a little.

"Yep we tied her up pretty good" he then said and smirked "We didn't want her to be here. She is our leader. Tara will change the world". The others, beside Freya nodded. Trapper on the other hand snort annoyed.

"Yeah many people believe that" he then said and his hounddog growled in agreement. Jesse sneered annoyed now.

"Just give us that antidote now! Stop toying with us!" he then yelled.

"Eheh you mean this antidote Jesse?" Trapper then said and was holding up a elixir bottle "If you all surrender then I might give the boy it".

The others suddenly smirked. Jesse even grinned a little. A whip was flying through the air now. Without warning it grabbed the antidote, and got pulled back to a branch of a tree nearby. Trapper looked shocked over there. At the branch was Mai standing with a duel disk and a spell card "Rose whip". It was holding the antidote.

"As easy as steal candy from a baby" she then proclaimed and grinned "I forgot how fun this is. Being in active duty". She tossed the antidote towards the other resistance members and Syrus quickly catched it. He gave immediately from the antidote. 2 people jumped out from the shadows as well and had lifted duel disks.

"You dare to touch these kids Hunter" Joey sneered and was summoning gearfried on his duel disk now. "Not as long as we are here". Yugi nodded eagerly.

"Now get close to me" Yugi then said and summoned dark magician on the field "We are not gonna stay here for long".

He was holding up the spell mystical box once again, but then surprisingly something happened. A ball flew out from somewhere in the woods and exploded all around them now. The others coughed now when smoke was all around them now. When the resistance members could see again, a dreadful sight meet their eyes. The monsters from the duel disk's were suddenly gone.

"I made your duel disks ineffective" a new voice then said and a boy with black hair wrapped up in a ponytail, with spiked front locks was standing behind them now. Black cold eyes were looking at them now.

"Lucian?!" Jesse said stunned "Lucian Grimley?! You here? I thought.. why are you siding with the trapper? I don't understand. I thought you hated him, just as much as I did?". Yugi and the others looked puzzled at Jesse and this new boy.

"You know him Jesse?" Aster questioned. Jesse nodded.

"We were friends at North academy, when Titan took over. He was one of the kids who went missing at some point" he replied puzzled "But I don't understand..".

"Oh Jesse you always been so clueless" Trapper said and grinned "There is so many things you don't know. Never wondered why you and your little girlfriend is wanted back so desperately? It is not just because you two stole for him". Jesse sneered.

"I don't understand.." he then said slowly and Lucian grinned a little.

"You are so lucky Jesse" Lucian said and snort "You always been. I must admit I always were jealous at you for some point. Always happy and outgoing. Had a girlfriend even as the dumb as servants. The demons didn't even mess a lot with you. You were special". At that Trapper laughed evilly.

"True there has always been something over you Jesse" Trapper then said "I always wanted you as trainee, but Titan didn't want to give you up. So I had to settle with Lucian here". Lucian bowed deeply.

"And that I am eternally grateful for" he then said "Everything is better than being the demons plaything. Wouldn't you agree Jesse?". Jesse didn't reply. However he didn't think that. Everything was better than getting captured by trapper again.

"I am not going to the penitentiary" Jesse then sneered. "Not in your life time".

"Oh really boy" Trapper said and laughed "You are surrounded and your precious duel disks doesn't work now. Whatever can you do?". Aster snort in annoyings.

"We will fight!" he then said firmly and turned towards Syrus and Axel "Syrus get Axel out of here. Get far away and don't near us, before we or other call you".

Syrus looked stunned at him at first. Then he nodded. He hanged up in Axel and began leaving. Surprisingly Trapper and Lucian let the two of them go. Jesse and the others figured that was because Syrus and Axel wasn't a important catch. Not compared to Yugi and the other wanted here. Trapper snort and whistled. 4 more dogs of his appeared around them. Lucian even summoned some "Killer bee's" to the field as well. Jesse noticed he had a duel disk as well. Jesse and the other resistance members lifted their weapons now. They were not giving up. They would succeed. They just have to.

A,N: Well that was that chapter. Actually didn't figure it would turn out to be so long. I mean split in three parts? Hehe Yugi and the others must be good since they can get a three part chapter. Oh well. The chapter was getting to long so had to split it. In the next one the battle continues, and surprisingly stuff happens. Tara is having a part in it, along with getting a surprised secret out from Ace. She is not what she looks like lol. Hope that sounds interesting.
