Tara's p.o.v.

"Put your backs to it your rule breaker" yelled robot Crowler, which made Tara sneer angry. If he yelled at her one more time, she would make sure to pull out that robot's power supply. She was sure Aster, who was sitting on the ground beside her, would agree. However he was actually in a pretty good mood. He was humming and stuff. Tara figured it couldn't be because they were washing floors. She really couldn't see the fun in that. However that was their punishment for breaking the rules. Tara for running away to the 'villages' without telling, and Aster for breaking the codex.

"She is so beautiful, hmm, hmm" Aster hummed and rubbed the floor near them and yelled "She is so awesome. She makes my heart race.!". Tara grinned a little. She knew it was because of a certain new girl in here that Aster was in such a happy mood. Aster looked confused at her, when Tara began laughing.

"Easy there casanova, you really have it bad, don't you?" she then said. Aster sighed.

"Is it that easy to see?" He questioned and blushed a little. Tara smiled.

"Oh yes it is. You are in head over heel in love with that Freya girl. What did she do? Cast an evil spell on you?". Aster turned completely red now. He looked at Tara.

"Well you are good at keeping secrets right?" He asked slowly. Tara nodded puzzled.

"Um you see, I meet Freya before the world was doomed actually" Aster then whispered "We meet at a pro match just before Kagemaru changed the world. I kind of saw her as cute and wanted to date her then, but well we were both were pretty busy, and I never got the time". Tara giggled a little.

"So that was why you broke the codex?" she questioned "Because she is your old crush?". Aster shook his head.

"No that is because I didn't want her to be food for the vampires" He replied, which made Tara flinch a little. Luckily Aster didn't notice. Tara hadn't forgotten the meeting with the vampires. With her twin brother and Zane. However no one beside her and Axel knew of that event. Luckily for that. Tara didn't know what her father would do if he knew. She had a feeling he wouldn't just move the headquarter to Europe. They had been there for a week now. In that week Tara and Aster had been busy with washing floors. Well the mansion was big. Secondly both of them was not allowed to leave the headquarter at all. Aster didn't mind however. He and Freya had something cooking in one of the outside houses they were having on the headquarter grounds. Freya had gotten permission to use it. Aster was the only one Freya let in. People questioned if it was because he saved her life, but they couldn't be sure. Aster didn't spill anything either. However it did leave Tara curious.

"So, um how was your date?" Aster then whispered. Tara looked puzzled at him.

"Date?" she questioned. Aster grinned a little.

"Yeah, Axel told me you had a secret meeting with someone" He whispered and smiled "Don't worry, I haven't told any. So who is it?". Tara bit his lip. If she remembered Aster had been the guard post after Axel, but she didn't figure Axel would have lied like that. He was really not good at that. She looked at Aster and sighed. Aster had been Tara's first friend when the resistance got made. After all she was around when Sartorius and her father talked about it. That Aster got saved in the process was also part of the deal they made. At first Tara hadn't liked him. He was a stuck up pro. However as time passed, and the times got hard, Aster had been a really good friend doing all of it. Therefore Tara decided to tell him the truth. After all he had told her a secret just now. She hoped he would keep hers as well.

"It was actually not a date, but a meeting" Tara whispered slowly "I can tell you more, but you have swear to never tell any". Aster looked at her and nodded. Then Tara whispered him slowly in the ear. Seconds later, Aster's eyes widened big time.

"You did what?!" he almost yelled and Tara covered quickly his mouth. Crowler who was walking up and down the long hallway, turned around and looked at them. They both began rubbing the floors until he looked away. Then Aster looked at her.

"You meet a.. Vampire?" He whispered and looked stunned "Well that explains how you got out in one piece when saving Axel.. but they really didn't do a thing to you".

"I told you Jaden is not a bad vampire" Tara replied quickly back "But you know my father. Can I have your silence on this one? Please Aster". Aster sighed deeply.

"Yep you are one of a kind Tara" He replied "I keep this one. You are my best friend after all. However who else knows this?". Tara sighed.

"Axel and you are the only ones" she replied "Although Sartorius may have a hunch, but if he knows he had kept it to himself". Aster nodded thoughtful. Then suddenly a voice was about to yell Tara's ears off once again.

"Hey slackers, no breaks!" yelled Crowler at them "Continue working and stop your whispering". Tara sneered a little.

"Yes Dr. crowler" they both replied. They were about to continue rubbing, when a new voice could be heard in the room.

"There you are you guys" Syrus yelled and rushed over to them "New orders. Your punishment is turned off for now. Kaiba wants all of us in the command central".

"For what reason?" Aster asked and got up from the floor. Tara followed.

"Not fully sure. He said that something had happened" Syrus replied. Seconds later the team rushed towards the central. Tara wondered what had happened.

Ace's p.o.v.

Some hours maybe earlier.

"How are you today Ace?" Ember said and smiled at the girl who was lying on the ground beside the warm camp fire. Ace smiled back. She sat slowly up.

"Much better" she said and grinned "And I can thank you and Jesse for it. You have me food and made me rest. Jesse even carried me. How can I ever repay you?". Ember grinned a little bit and shook her head.

"You don't have to, I am just glad your feeling better. You said you hadn't eaten in a long time and that someone was after you right? It is only natural to help people out" she replied. Ace nodded slowly. However not all were like that. She had learned that the hard way by staying at Banner's place. She sighed a little. She was happy there at least were some good people in this world. Like that Jesse and Ember.

"Hmm wonder what is taking Jesse so long?" Ember said then worried. "Hope he is alright". Ace chuckled a little. It was sweet to see how carrying this couple could be. Especially when this world was as dark as it was.

"Ah he is alright. It is Jesse we are talking about. You should be more worried about the animals he is hunting. They don't stand a chance". She told her. Ember lit up.

"Yeah that is right. No one can beat Jesse" She said and made Ace grin a little. However it was showed that Ember was worried a lot.

"Ember, I am back" yelled a voice suddenly and made the two girls turn their heads. Jesse walked up on the hill they were sitting at. It was easier to spot if there were any enemies nearby from there. However it was also easier to spot their location. Ace knew that but they risked it anyway.

"Jesse!" Ember said and rushed into Jesse's arms. He was carrying the backpack. Ace wondered what he had got for them to eat. She was a little hungry. She quickly found out when Jesse and Ember began preparing food over the fire. Apparently Jesse had catched some few fishes, a bunny and gotten some wild berries. Maybe not the biggest feast, but better than nothing. Ace asked if there was something she should do to help, but the couple told her to relax, since she was not fully up to date. Ace had said she was just fine, after all she had been up and running, at least in her statement, but Ember refused to let her help. So in the end she was lying in the grass and was looking up in the sky. Then she heard it. A little sound. Ace flew up and looked around. Jesse and Ember looked confused at her.

"Ace? Something wrong?" Jesse questioned. Ace looked slowly around.

"I thought I heard something" she said and narrowed her eyes, but she couldn't spot anything out of the ordinary. Jesse's eyes narrowed as well. He began searching around the place. Just for safety, but when he came back, he shook his head.

"Nothing, not a footprint, nothing. We are all alone here" He said "Maybe it was the wind Ace? But for safety matter, I will have the first guard tonight". Ace nodded slowly. She was sure she had heard something. Then she shrugged. Maybe she was getting paranoid. However what she didn't know was that 3 small creatures was watching from afar.

"Man this is delicious" Ace said "You are really a good cook". Ember blushed.

"Yeah she is right about that" Jesse added "My Ember is the world's best cook".

"Oh Jesse, you exaggerating" Ember said and tried hiding her red face. Ace grinned. She was about to sing 'there is love in the air' but figured it would be to cruel. The moment right now was so sweet. Ember ate a little of the meat and looked at Ace.

"So Ace, you think you are fit for a long travel tomorrow?" She questioned "We want to hit the resistance hopefully tomorrow, but if you need more breaks, you can tell us though". Ace bit her lip a little. It was clear that Ace was not used to traveling as much as Jesse and Ember, but like them she wanted to go the resistance, before it was too late. After all the information she had, shouldn't fall in the wrong hands. She had told Jesse and Ember that she had some secret information, but not what it was. It was for their safety. The less they knew the better. They had agreed on that.

"Well I could just carry her, if she gets too tired" conclude Jesse. Ace and Ember was thoughtful for a while. Then Ember slowly nodded. Ace knew she didn't like her Jesse to carry other girls. She could be jealously type. Ace knew that because Ember had told her that they were a couple the second time she woke up. Just to make sure Ace didn't flirt with Jesse. Ace had rolled with her eyes. Jesse was not her type.

"Yeah well you could do that if you want" she then replied "However you two never told me why you wanted to find the resistance. Is it for safety?". The couple looked at each other, then back at Ace. Jesse then smiled a little.

"You doesn't look like a spy" he concluded and looked at Ember "Is it okay to show her? It is up to you Em". Ember stared at Ace. She then nodded and took a sack out from Ace first now noticed at her belt. Ember took out a big juvel. A ruby. Ace's eyes widened. She had never seen such a big juvel before. Actually she was sure she never had seen juvels before. She looked at Ember.

"Um okay, why do you have a giant juvel on you?" she questioned. "You could buy, I don't know the gigantic house I know and still have money". Ember sighed a little.

"Yes, maybe we could, but I don't think it is normal, you see we come from the demon kingdom..". Then she began telling about Titan and his demons, and that he maybe used them to do terrible experiment to others. All Ember and Jesse knew was that their friends didn't have a juvel before the experiment and had after. They didn't know what they were, but they hoped that the resistance knew maybe. One thing was for sure. Titan should not have the juvel back. Ace nodded stunned.

"I would do everything to help you find out the secret about it then" she replied and smiled "That's the least I can do to pay you back". Jesse and Ember smiled back.

"Well, well that is interesting indeed" said a voice suddenly and the group flew up from the ground they had been sitting at. Out of the shadows appeared a man with with black hair and black eyes. He was dressed almost black beside the purple t-shirt he was having on. He was having a belt on, that made Ace almost freeze. The ones letting the dogs after her, had something similar on. He was having two scabbards in his belt. Ace knew this could not be something good. The male smirked a little.

"I was curious about why you two, Ember and Jesse, was so wanted, with only 10.000 dp to your name" He said "You stole from one of the rulers ehh".

"Who are you?" said Jesse and made the group back slowly away from him.

"Me? Oh I'm merely a servant for my master, but you can call me 'the Chazz' if you like" He replied and looked at the group. "I waited for the girl to be able to travel again. It is easier for me to bring back". Jesse and the others flinched.

"Bring her.. who are you talking about?" Jesse asked. He looked scared. Ember was having a thoughtful look in her eyes. Ace could hear her mumble "The chazz, I am sure I heard the name before". Ace didn't care. He could either be a bounty hunter or he could be here on a mission to get them. It was the only solution she could figure out now. After all a good guy wouldn't smirk that much or have so dull eyes. The man tilted his head and looked now at Ace for a second. The girl froze by that.

"Ace" he said coldly "I am here to get you back. My master requires it. But you Jesse and Ember are also wanted. A certain satanist want you two back". Ace froze. Shit! He is really here on a mission to get me. Us! What to do? Then Ace felt Ember take her hand and then she began running as fast as they could. Ace just followed.

"We got to leave" Ember yelled "I know who he is, and we have no chance at all against him in battle". Jesse looked surprised at her.

"Who is he then?" He questioned. Ace looked puzzled as well. Ember bit her lip.

"He is.. He is one of Kagemaru's top minions. He is known as Chazz the executor" she replied "We can't win against him. We have to run". Ace flinched inside. She had heard about him. He was said to be ruthless. Ace just hoped they could get away from him. They just had too.

Missy's p.o.v.

Missy was standing at a giant tree in the middle of the forest. It was near a little lake. It was at that place, they had agreed to meet. Missy sighed deeply. She looked up at the sky. She was restly. She hoped he would soon be here. Missy might not have any watch or anything resembling time, but her instincts told her he was late in some way.

"Grr, I really don't like waiting" she murmured. She needed to talk to him. To know what she saw in that cave was true. The wind blew..

"Impatient aren't you, my dear lady vampire" a voice then said and in front of her was the seaweed haired male named Yusuke. Missy gasped a little. She didn't notice him before and it scared her a little. She was a vampire. No one could sneak up on her. However that was what sadly happened. Yusuke tilted his head.

"Not happy to see me?" he questioned in a teasing manner. Missy snort.

"Your late, shadow mage" she said coldly. Yusuke chuckled.

"Shadow mage? I like that, but I am not late, I have been here before you even arrived. I just like observing things" He said and smirked "You are really impatient you know". Missy snort coldly.

"Who cares, I am not the one who needed my help to find the resistance headquarter" she replied coldly "You do need my help right?". Yusuke smiled.

"Oh yes I do, how rude of me" he said in a sick sweet tone "I assume you have the device with you? And don't forget If you don't help me, then I can't and will not help you either". Missy sneered a little and was holding a device in her hand.

"Here then, it is the device I placed on Jaden, showing the route he took to meet with his sister, but I really can't see what you can use that for" she said and snort. Yusuke took the device with a big smile. Darkness was shown in his palm when he took the device and soon after the device disappeared.

"Thanks a ton, it was just what I needed. I am actually impressed that you used your own brother for this operation" he said and chuckled "Camula doesn't know".

"I don't care what mom is thinking" Missy replied "Jaden was the perfect bait. It is not my fault, he is so naive and emotional. Now keep your end of the bargain".

"Are you sure?" He questioned and smirked "I did as you asked and spied on the boy you liked. Zane Truesdale, and let me give you an advice. You made quite the commotion at the castle, maybe you should not go home for now. Or see my report on the boy. It is not good to know too much hehe". Missy snort angry at him.

"Just give me what I want shadow mage" She yelled "Or are you running from your part of the bargain". Yusuke sighed and summoned a black sphere in his hand.

"Fine here then, this is my memories on the events with the truesdale boy" he replied "Just place on your forehead and you will see what I have been seeing. However remember my warning, do not return home. I will come for you when I need your help once again vampire girl. I know you need my help later after all". Then he disappeared into the thin air. Missy snort when he was gone. She looked at the black orb in her hand. She had made the deal with the 'Shadow mage' as she called him, because she now could be sure Zane didn't love anyone else. She just had too, even if she knew it was stalking in some way. She never thought that she actually was obsessed with him, which she of course where. She placed the orb at the forehead. Memories was floating into her mind. All in some way seen from her alias Yusuke's eyes, when he was spying on Zane. Missy saw memories of the whole day. It was nothing unusual at first. She saw Zane with their mom like always. Discussing things Missy actually didn't care about. Then he was with Mindy and Jasmine, same thing like usual. It was first when she saw the slave boy of Jaden's get pumped that things got interested. She saw Zane realise Jaden had run away. Missy chuckled. He had always been the smartest of them. However it only lead backwards from there. Zane and her brothers discussing to punish her for letting Jaden go away. She had frowned by that. So important could that little brat not be right? However the worst shock was in the cave when Zane got to get Jaden back and she saw it. She saw that expression, that made Missy sneer in anger. Zane had that longing expression on his face and worst of all, it was not for Missy, but for some, some lowly human. A human girl! Missy let out a scream and broke the orb and the restly memories. She was seriously angry. She remembered Zane's words "I would rather date a human than you Missy". She had thought it was only meant as a joke, but apparently he longed for a human girl. It was an outrage. Without any logical reasoning at all, she rushed home.

Before Missy knew it, she was captured by a some of her siblings, T-bone and Blaze who brought her to Camula. Missy was too angry to even care and soon she was lying for the vampire mistress feet. Missy however still didn't care and was instead looking around in the throne room. All her siblings, beside Jaden, was present in the room, together with some heralds. The vampire snort.

"Welcome home Missy" said Camula in a cold tone "Where have you been?".

"Ahr you know places" she replied and glared angry at Zane. The male vampire frowned by that, but seconds later he glared back.

"Reply our Mistress" sneered Frost at her "Tell her where you have been. Or I can tell her where you weren't. You weren't here, when your brother ran away".

"Yeah he was in black mode" yelled Blaze at her "Zane thinks you had something to do with it". By that Missy snort and glared at Zane.

"Oh and what is with him thinking that. Maybe it is true or maybe it's not" she sneered angry "Let me ask you something Zane? When have you been falling in love with a human". Zane looked puzzled at her. So did the others.

"I have no idea what you are talking about" he replied coldly "Did you make Jaden run away?". Missy sneered angry.

"Fine play dumb. I saw you. I saw you in the memories of the shadow mage. The deal I made with him. I saw that look you had on that girl.. wait that was Jaden's sister wasn't it" She yelled. Suddenly she could feel a force hit her and she was suddenly staring eye to eye with Camula.

"What shadow made? Actually I know him, you made a deal with Kagemaru's Yusuke?" the vampire mistress asked coldly "Tell me everything!". Missy nodded. She couldn't refuse for some reason. She told her everything. About Jaden, the resistance, the spying on Zane, Yusuke, Everything. When she was done she got released from the force. Then she felt stinging pain on her cheek. Her mother had given her a high five on the cheek. Missy looked stunned. She had gotten so surprised by that, that she had lost her balance and fell down on the floor.

"How dare you!" Camula yelled angrily "How dare you use your own siblings as bait without telling them. Especially Jaden when he is in black mode. You know as well as I, how vunuable he is in that state. He could have been killed". Missy snort.

"Well maybe he shouldn't be such a weak vampire" she snort coldly "You all say he is so special. Well I am impressed with his red mode, but beside that, he is really weak". She had just said that when T-bone, Blaze, Frost and Thunder grabbed her.

"You dare say that about our big brother" Frost yelled "Now I will pummel you".

"Stop! Don't do it!" yelled another voice and everyone turned towards it. Jaden rushed into the room. He pushed the boys a little away from Missy.

"Jaden, why are you defending her? She just called you weak" Thunder said.

"Not to forget, that she made you run away" Blaze added. Jaden just smiled.

"But she is our sister" he commented "Everyone makes mistakes. You did one recently with the resistance member Frost. This is no difference". Missy could hear Zane snort in the background. He looked at Camula, then at Jaden.

"No, she almost killed you" he pointed out "If you had gotten too close the resistance would have killed you. We are a family. No one kills any from the family".

"But hurting is okay? She is our family as well" Jaden added and sighed. He looked at Camula "Please mother, don't hurt Missy. Please reconsider". Missy looked in surprise at Jaden. He was the last she had expected to help her. He were the one she had used for the operation, so why weren't he angry. Why were he smiling?

"Come here my dear" Their mother then said and Jaden quickly rushed over and kneeled down, with that happy smile. She roamed a finger through his hair "You really think I would hurt one of my children, do you my dear?". Jaden shook his head. He looked up at Camula.

"No of course not mistress" he said quickly "But I know the others would. My brothers would. They would do it because of me, but I am not even angry at Missy. She reunited me with my sister. I have never been more happy. I am only grateful. I know now it was dangerous, but let's be honest mother, sooner or later I would have run away. I would have left to look for Tara. Please let Missy go". Missy could see Camula look at her for a second. She was actually smiling a little.

"I wouldn't have my dear. Not when she didn't kill you. If she did I would punish her a lot more. Therefore Missy you will not go on hunting for a month. You will have house arrest. It should be enough time for you to think about what you have done" the vampire mistress said. Missy's eyes widened in surprise. She had house arrest, just because she used her brother as bait. That was not fair! She glared at Zane. If I can't leave the castle, then that means Zane can meet that human girl again. That shall never happen! Even if I have to kill her myself. She sneered angry.

"Well Missy isn't that good?" she could suddenly hear Jaden say. He was smiling that happy smile and standing in front of her and was holding a hand towards her "Here let me help you up". However Missy didn't want that. She sneered angry and slammed him instead with an highfive on his cheek.

"I don't need your help" She yelled at him and got up "I don't need help from mom's little favorite. So stop smiling. What are you so happy about anyway?". The others looked shocked at the scene in front of them. They were about to grab her, when Jaden once again shook his head. He was rubbing his cheek, but he still smiled at her.

"Why I am smiling?" He said and sent her another one of these annoying smiles "I am just so happy that is all. I haven't been so happy for months, and I can thank you for all of it Missy. You reunited me with my sister. I can't thank you enough for that". Missy just sneered and was about to hit him once again, but Thunder and Frost grabbed her. She could hear Camula had doubled her punishment to two months and got placed in the dungeon until she had cooled off. Missy was fighting like hell. She looked at Zane, then Jaden.

"I will kill her!" she yelled as loud as she could "I will kill her. Your sister Jaden, then you will stop smiling. You and Zane will both stop smiling. You see I will kill her". Then they dragged her away from there.

Tara's p.o.v.

Tara was not sure what she has expected when she sat her food at the commando central. However the sound of warnings and noisy machines hadn't been one of them. She saw every member in here, beside Sartorius and his sister. She found her father at the chair and sneered at the computer screen. When they entered in here, Kaiba turned around and looked at them.

"As you can hear, we have enemies near us" He told them "But because of a certain someone.. we can't move the headquarter again. Serina is keeping the barrier a little stronger as we speak, but it is only a matter of time". Tara's eyes widened. She could see her father glare at her. She had a feeling he thought this was all her fault. Tara actually didn't care. She knew she had done the right thing. Just like Aster.

"Does that mean we have to fight?" she questioned "Who's the enemy?".

"Not entirely" they could hear Rebecka and sighed "The people who is near us, I don't think they know we are near them". Kaiba nodded.

"If we just hadn't lost Jim and Hassleberry years ago. We might have a chance" He said and sneered. Tara rolled with her eyes. It was true they lost them on a misson years ago and that they were one of the biggest fighters there were, but her father really should let that go. Kaiba pushed a button on the screen and a camera picture was shown. 4 people were shown. 2 males and 2 females. Tara's eyes narrowed. She was sure she had seen at least one of them before. Then her eyes widened.

"Chazz?!" she said in disbelief "Chazz the executor?! What is he doing here? I thought Kagemaru only used him for special missions". Tara was not happy that he was here. He was one of her old friends. Everyone knew what happened to him, and Tara was really feeling sorry for him. She liked his former self, not this Chazz.

"I think he is" Rebecca replied and touched the keyboard a little. Three wanted posters appeared on the screen now. Tara noticed that it was the same wanted once that were outside with Chazz now. This girl Ember, the boy Jesse and this girl Ace. Together they gave the sum of 85.000 dp, which surprised Tara. Ace was as much wanted as she was.

"Wait, Chazz is not here to find the resistance?" Syrus questioned and sighed "I was worried that I lead him here, from my last assignment".

"No I believe he is here to collecting these three" Kaiba said slowly "They are all 3 runaways from the kingdom. If we let him capture these three, we will properly not be in danger". Tara's eyes widened. She clenched her fists.

"What are you saying father? That we just shall let them get captured" she yelled angry "No way! We are a resistance. We help people". Kaiba sneered.

"I know that" He yelled "But it would be easier to let things happen".

"No way, I am going out to save them" Tara yelled "I have trained for this, and I am no coward". Then she turned around on the heal and left towards the storage where they were having the weapons.
