I have always believed that if you believe in your deck and the heart of the cards, you can always win. I just wonder if believing in my own hearts and my friends are enough, to win this fight or war?!

Thoughts from Yugi Muto. The king of games.

One of the wanted, who is on the run.

Normal p.o.v.

It was late at night, and this dark world was even more creepier than it was in the day. This time of the night, the light, the few lights they were having, was not showing and it was making this world really dark. Two shadows, two males, cloaked with hoodie over their heads, rushed through the shadows of this dark world. You wouldn't know they were in a forest, if you didn't know this place beforehand. However those two knew their surroundings. It was for that reason they could rush through the night without hitting stuff. Unless you were creatures of the night, but neither of them were vampires or demons. The less taller one of them was running like hell, while the other followed in a more normal tempo.

"My boy, please calm down, or you will give us away" he then said.

"Hey I am no boy" the other replied "It is you who is the old timer here. Pick of the pace will yer". The other sighed.

"Should I be offended by that?" the other replied and snort "It is you who is impatient as always, and will give us away boy".

"Listen we can talk all day or hurried it. We need to warn all of them, and that can't be fast enough" the first one replied coldly.

"You are just worried about your wife and child" the other replied "Understandable".

"And the others not to add. Now pick it up old timer" the first one sneered. The other sighed and they picked up the pace.

They soon arrived at a cottage, who was hidden really well somewhere in this forest. It may not look at much on the outside, but it was actually spacious inside. The impatient boy slammed the door open and took a deep breathe. He needed to catch his breath. He was meet by several people, when he entered the tiny entrance, followed by this normal sized living room. Torches was lit slowly around in the cottage, so it was easier to see. At a table two people were sitting around a tiny pot of food. Beside them was a tiny oil lamp standing. Two young adult was lying on the ground, both with a bowl of half eaten food, while playing an innocent game of duel monsters. One person was sitting in a old armchair and was eating as well. They all now looked up at the exhausted man at the doorstep. He was soon followed by his companion. They both walked inside.

"Father" a girl, one of the young adults, smiled happily and waved at him "Look, look, I am beating Mokuba's butt in duel monsters". The young male snort.

"Yeah right, the game is not over yet Maiyo" Mokuba snort and played a spell "Take that, 'frissure' kills your monster". Maiyo sneered angry when her monster got sent to the grave. The other three people looked a little more suspiciously at the door.

"Joey, what happened? You are out of breath" the female at the table asked.

"We.. Adrian Gecko.. Yugi, he is on to us" Joey blurred out. The female got up from her seat and lead Joey over to the table together with his companion.

"Joey, take a deep breath and tell us what happened from the get go" the woman encouraged "Take something to eat as well". Joey nodded. He began telling what happened at the tavern with Mr. Huffington and his son Chumley. He had been one of them in the tavern when Adrian arrived. While he stuffed his face of course.

"..Then he left in a hurry, but I can tell yer, he is on to us" Joey ended the story "Yugi what do we do?". Joey looked at the man in the armchair. He sighed deeply.

"Is all that true Pegasus?" he asked and turned towards the companion.

"I am afraid so, Yugi boy. Joey boy, is telling the truth, but maybe not that dramatically" the companion Pegasus replied and let his hoodie fall. Long sliver hair was shown. He took a plate and ate as well. "He left because of an SOS signal, but have he stayed longer, we might have been discovered". Yugi sighed and turned the chair to look at his friends. An adult version of Yugi Muto was shown. He was more muscular and well build compared to his younger self, and his innocent eyes were not so innocent anymore. Wrinkles were shown on his forehead, but beside that he looked like himself. He was thoughtful for a moment.

"Well that means we have to avoid that place" he concluded "For the time being..".

"Oh please don't say we shall move again" Maiyo then interrupted and looked at Yugi "I like it here, and we only been here in two weeks".

"You know we might have to Maiyo" Yugi replied slowly.

"But.. father please, tell him we still can stay here" Maiyo begged and looked at her father. Joey sighed deeply and scratched his hair.

"Maiyo we are on the run, I am agreeing with Yug. He is the leader, and his deck protects us.." Joey began, but Maiyo snort angry.

"There you go again with these awesome decks of ours" she sneered "If they are so special, then why aren't we gonna do something about it. Kagemaru has a deck, we have a deck. We go to America and challenge him to a duel". The others sighed.

"Maiyo it is not that simple" Yugi replied "Even if we do that, Kagemaru have enough guards to just capture us and deny our challenge. Even if he agrees, the chances of us succeeding against the sacred beasts are almost 0".

"Sweaty, I know it is hard, but we just have to hang in there" The female Mai replied.

"No, I am sick of traveling, sick of the whole thing. It is not fair!" Maiyo yelled. She picked up her cards and walked over to one of the rooms and slammed the door behind her. It was Joey, Mai and her room. Joey and the other sighed.

"Well she took it better than I would have expected" Pegasus replied and looked at the man beside him at the table. The man snort.

"She reminds me so much of the many children at DA once" the man then said "The sweet and innocent youth. If I just was chancellor again". Joey snort.

"Easy old timer, don't blame yourself now" he replied "It was not your fault the Shadow riders got away with the keys. You are not to blame Sheppard". Sheppard sighed, but he didn't reply him. The others knew he did blame himself anyways. After all he chose the students as key protector, and what did it cost them? Two of them turned vampire, one became an Amazon, one became a mad scientist's pupils, one got reduced to a doll, one serves Kagemaru with soul and body and lastly one betrayed them and tricked them, which properly was the reason for the whole thing turning to chaos in the first place. The only former key protector who was not turned into something, was Tara Yuki, and the only reason for that, was because her brother, at that time, had so much humanity in him that he made it possible for her to escape. Although Kaiba never saw it like that. He saw vampires as foul creatures. Joey was not sure he was okay with Kaiba calling his own son a foul creature.

"So what is the plan?" He questioned and looked at Yugi "Are we staying or fleeing?". Yugi were thoughtful for a moment.

"We are staying here one more day, then we flee" he then concluded "Adrian was not fully on to us, but he has a trail, and someone might find it as well".

"Then why wait" Mai questioned "Because you consider my daughter's feelings into this? Maiyo has to learn safety first". Joey nodded in agreement.

"Yeah she just have her female moments. Kind of like you Mai" he added and noticed a glare from his wife "What, it is true. It is one of the many qualities I love about you". Mai quickly looked away. She was a little red on her cheeks. In the background, Joey could hear Pegasus mumble "Good saving". Yugi shook his head a little.

"No that is not the reason" he said and looked at Mokuba. The boy nodded.

"We got a transmitting signal from my brother a while ago" He said and held a tiny brooch, shaped as a blue eyes, in his hand now. A weird crispy sounds was coming from it. Everyone went silent so they could hear it.

"Mo..kuba, come.. in" a voice sounding like Kaiba's voice rang a little static through the item "She.. has.. Ta..Yuki.. ran. She might... seek... Yugi.. out. Find her... protect her.. bring her... ". Then the message went death after that. Mokuba turned it off.

"That is all what it recorded. When my brother sended me with you, I had hoped on better equipment, but well we were in a hurry" He then said and sighed "I wished he hadn't sent me with you guys, but Seto said I was more safe. He didn't want me to fight in the resistance battle". Yugi smiled a little.

"We are actually happy you are here Mokuba" He then replied "You are our only contact to the resistance. Although it seems it finally happened". Pegasus nodded.

"Yes, Tara girl have finally left the headquarter. We all knew Kaiba boy couldn't keep her there. I am amazed she stayed that long" He added.

"My niece is like my sister. Free and a little reckless" Joey said and sighed.

"The recklessness she has from you my dear" Mai added "And she is as stubborn as Kaiba". The others nodded.

"We stay one day and if Tara shows, we will figure out what to do then" Yugi then said "If not we will leave next day". The others nodded quickly.

Atticus's p.o.v.

Atticus ran and ran once again. The darkness surrounded him. Atticus knew all this. He had been here before, so he wondered why it always surprised and scared him like that, every time. Why didn't he get used to it? However sadly that was never the case. The fear rose up in him every time he was here. It was creeping around and gave him goosebumps and made him run. He just had to run. Run away from HIM. The one who was after him.

"Atticus, Atticus, stop hiding from me" a voice teased through the darkness.

"Go away" Atticus yelled in response "I don't want your help". A voice chuckled.

"You are just delaying the inevitable" the voice then said "Especially since you meet him". Atticus stopped instantly up and looked shocked around. The voice grinned.

"So stopped running?" it said and suddenly he was standing in front of him. Nightshroud, the guy who looked so much like him, but wasn't "A wise choice, my dear Atticus".

"What.. what do you mean.. with.. meet him?" Atticus stuttered and took a step backwards.

"Oh that.. well you meet the other person who uses my power right?" Nightshroud questioned and smirked "And don't deny it. I can feel the power all around you. Unlike you who is afraid of me, Yusuke Fujiwara uses my powers. But at his free will I might add".

"Yusuke" Atticus said slowly. The image of the seaweed male entered his thoughts now. Suddenly he felt fingers on his face, and he quickly pushed the hand who had touched his cheek. Nightshroud's hand who had rested there for some seconds was pushed back.

"Don't touch me" Atticus yelled and looked determined at the dark masked lookalike. His lookalike chuckled.

"Atticus, why are you afraid of me?" Nightshroud questioned "Have I ever hurt you?".

"You brainwashed me" the boy replied pretty angry "You made me turn against my friends".

"No I didn't. I protected you" Nightshroud replied "Kagemaru did. He sended you to the grave robbers grave and let me remind you, they would have buried you alive, if you haven't put the mask on. After that I kept you save for the other shadow riders. I made a deal with Kagemaru to work for him, and they let you be after that". Atticus froze. Those memories from so long ago. He hadn't really tried to remember. Nightshroud hummed a little.

"I never controlled Yusuke Fujiwara" he then said and smirked. "By the way he is here..". Atticus looked confused around. What did he mean by that? The image around them was beginning to get blurry and then..

"Atticus, Atticus, wake up!" Atticus could feel someone shaking him, and he flew up gasping for air. The nightmare was still fresh in his mind.

"I am awake" he then said and shook his head. Purple eyes looked down at him.

"You were having a nightmare my dear Atticus" he could hear a voice say. Atticus rubbed his eyes a little. He was a little groggy. Who's that? Wait dear?

"Yusuke!" Atticus yelled and rushed up on his feets. He was in fighting stance. Yusuke sighed deeply. That outburst had awaken the others at the camp they were at right now. Axel, who was guard, turned around and looked at Yusuke with lifted sword. He was staring intensely at the shadow mage. Atticus wondered why Axel hadn't noticed him at all, being guard and all, but remembered that Yusuke could only be seen when he wanted to. That actually didn't make him feel better. Tara was the first one to wake up, but soon everyone were up and running, as well and was staring at the shadow mage in front of them. Yusuke sighed deeply again.

"You couldn't have been more quiet about this?" he asked Atticus and snort "Look you woke up all your friends". Atticus blinked a little confused.

"Step away from Atticus, Shadow mage" Axel said in a cold tone. Yusuke chuckled.

"Or what? Your sword can't hurt me" He mocked, but then smiled "However I didn't come here for you. I came for my dear Atticus, although he couldn't keep quiet now could he?". Yusuke sended him an annoyed look. Tara looked at both of them.

"So wait? He is really is your lover?" Tara questioned. Atticus turned red now.

"I told you, we don't have a relationship" he yelled out loud. Yusuke chuckled.

"Lover eh? I actually don't mind that. Atticus is rather cute" he replied and grinned.

"I am not cute" Atticus defended, then turned red again. This was embarrassing. The others looked a little puzzled at both of them. Aster eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean with that you came for Atticus? If you intend to kidnap our friend, you shall first bypass us" he said and lifted his sword. Yusuke smirked.

"I didn't come to kidnap him. If I wanted to do that, I would have done it already" the shadow mage proclaimed "No I was here in the neighborhood and thought I would stop by". Atticus snort. He was sure Yusuke was lying. The others eyes narrowed as well. Yusuke looked suddenly firmly at Atticus. He bowed down and picked up a black mask who was lying on the ground beside him. Atticus froze instantly.

"You have been dreaming about him, haven't you?" Yusuke then asked coldly "The others may not hear your silent screams in the night, but I can. We are connected. We have similar powers. Therefore don't let yourself get swallowed by your own powers Atticus. Tame them instead". Then the shadow mage placed the mask into Atticus's hand and closed it, making the mask turn into a card once again. Atticus could see the others look puzzled at him. He was not liking this at all.

"My powers are none of your business Yusuke. You clearly didn't arrive here to just wake me up and say that. Why are you here?". Yusuke eyes narrowed a little.

"Fine, be that way" he then replied "But you are right. I am here to give you a warning". Atticus and co. looked a little surprised now.

"What kind of warning Yusuke?" Tara then said. Yusuke eyed her a little.

"Hmm Tara Yuki, the newest leader of the resistance. I might as well share it with you too" He then concluded "You treat my Atticus as a true comrade and friend after all". Atticus jerked by that. His! I am not his anything here.

"Listen well, I will only say this once" Yusuke then said "Kagemaru is on to you. He knows that you all have left the resistance headquarter and are trying to find Yugi Muto. He has sent 'the hunter' after you, so beware". Atticus and the others looked really surprised now. Syrus looked suspiciously at him.

"And where do you know that from? We have been on this journey for less than a week. Where does Kagemaru and his followers know this already?" He then asked.

"Oh that is simple" Yusuke replied and grinned "I told him of course".

"Wait what?" Atticus yelled up "You promised you wouldn't tell him". Yusuke snort.

"No I promised not to reveal your headquarter to him" He replied and grinned "I never said anything about not spying on you, who left the headquarter".

"You lousy little snake" Aster replied and sneered "You are of course still Kagemaru's henchman. You have lured us in a trap haven't you?". Yusuke snort coldly at him.

"Watch it, I am Yusuke Fujiwara, the shadow mage. I work for no one. However I do create deals with people who I do keep of course" He said and chuckled "I have a deal with Kagemaru. I spy and deliver reports to him. Not trapping people. I could look the other way with your group Tara Yuki, but I don't think you will pay the toll for that. After all Atticus won't become mine now will he?". Atticus turned red again.

"Yusuke!" he yelled angry. Yusuke grinned evilly and smirked.

"Yes, you are right" Tara then replied and snort "Just leave now Yusuke".

"No wait" Jesse suddenly said "Shadow mage, who's the hunter?". Yusuke smirked.

"You already know that. Jesse Anderson" then he disappeared out of the blue. Atticus sneered and sighed deeply. The others looked a little at him.

"I am sorry. I am the reason, Yusuke keep coming around" He then apologized "Apparently someone hasn't realised our relationship is over. I understand if you don't want me around". Dimitri slammed a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't sweat it man" he said "That makes it interesting. But I think he wants you back". Atticus bit his lip a little. He didn't reply to that.

"It is okay Atticus" Tara then said "You can stay here. You could be useful, since you are a possible lover to the shadow mage. Secondly you are our friend. Let's just get some breakfast, then we can worry about the hunter". In the background they could hear Freya snort. She was apparently not agreeing. However they began eating.

Tara's p.o.v.

Time skip. Around Kaiba's message was send.

"You are sure he will be here?" Tara questioned and looked at Syrus.

"Positive" Syrus said "He told us to wait here". They were in a fortress, near a big mountain, who could be seen in the horizontal. Freya snort coldly.

"You know this could be a trap" She pointed out "Just saying". Tara snort coldly.

"Well if you began trusting people, then maybe you will see everything is not as dangerous as you think they are" She replied. Freya snort at that.

"Well don't come to me, because you have created your own mess" She replied. Tara clenched her fist. These couple of days they all had traveled together, Tara had begun to know the different personalities of her crew. They were all different. Syrus, Atticus, Aster, Dimitri and Alex she knew from the resistance, so they were compatible with each other. The new ones was a different story. Ace she had no problem with. The same with Jesse and Ember. They were both friendly, even though Ember was a little possessive with her boyfriend, but they were getting along just great. Freya on the other hand. Tara and Freya were as different as night and day. Tara was having her opinion, and Freya hers. She was not always agreeing on their leaders decisions, but since there were more voting for Tara's decisions, she was well outvoted. Sometimes she let out her frustrations by telling how wrong it might could go, and Tara was driving crazy by it. It was clearly shown Freya had some trust issues and was paranoid. A lot actually. Tara wondered why.

"Well if that happens, then we will work as a team and escape it" Tara then said.

"Teamwork" Freya snort coldly "That's for losers". Tara sneered angry.

"Okay that does it" she yelled and was on her way over to the girl, to beat some sense into her. She could see Freya was ready. However Aster came in between.

"Okay you two, stop fighting" he said "Do you want the enemies to know we are here?". Tara sneered angry and turned her back at Freya.

"She began it" she proclaimed. Freya just snort back at that.

"I don't care who began, but if we fight among ourselves, the bad guys get the upper hand" Aster replied and sighed "Try getting along okay?". Freya and Tara looked annoyed at each other. Then the both actually nodded in agreement, but no more words were spoken between them though.

"It is not licious when friends fight you know" said a voice suddenly. Everyone turned around towards the voice. All with lifted weapon. Out of the shadows, appeared a big koala sized man, who quickly tossed down his hoodie and lifted his hands in surrendering. Tara eyes widened and her mouth went up in a big smile.

"Chumley" Tara and Syrus replied and rushed over and gave the man a big hug, who he of course gave it back. Tara could hear Freya snort in the background and the words "Koala" could be heard, however she ignored her.

"How are you big guy?" Tara then asked and let go of her friend. Chumley sighed.

"Actually not the best" He replied and sighed again "Adrian visited our tavern and was almost about to figure out we were helping wanted people over the world".

"How did you get out trouble?" Syrus questioned "After what rumors state, Adrian is this epic spy". Chumley sighed.

"Chazz" he then replied and the others jerked a little "He got a call about him and a sos signal. After that he rushed out from there in a hurry". Tara couldn't stop smiling. Recalling her battle with Chazz and sparing his life. By doing that, she had apparently sent a chain reaction of events in motion. The good kind of stuff hopefully. She sended Freya a little smirk. In some way saying "See I told you so". At that Freya snort and looked away. Her body language saying "That proves nothing".

"So is it true, you were hosting, you know who at the tavern?" she instead asked.

"Yeah we hosted them" Chumley replied and sighed "But the chance of being around here is really slim. After all they are all wanted. However I can show you where we were suppose to deliver food to them". Tara nodded.

"You weren't followed were you?" Freya then asked him "You are not taking us anywhere unless I am sure we are not followed. After what happened with the shadow mage, I am not taking any chances". Tara could see that she was sending Atticus a cold glare. Tara sighed, but Freya was at least right about this one.

"Dimitri, Axel, scout the area" she then said and saw the two males nod. Dimitri touched her hand and grinned. Then soon after a copy of herself was standing there.

"Leave it to me" Tara could hear herself saying and sighed deeply.

"Why Tara?" they could hear Aster ask. Dimitri/Tara grinned.

"What? She is the most wanted out of all of us, if any saw her wander off, they would surely take her" he said "I can lure anyone out with that". Tara rubbed her head a little. At least he is not Jaden. They soon left, and came back minutes later, claiming no sign of then being followed was shown. With that they followed Chumley to the supposed location of the king of games.

Ember's p.o.v.

Time skip.

Ember sighed deeply when they finally cut in a break. Her feets were killing her. They were in this creepy forest. Living in this dark world for 7 years made Ember and properly every other human adapt to the darkness. They could move around pretty well. Of course not as good as the demons and vampires in this world, but still. They could make fire, but that would just make everyone aware of them. Only people who had nothing to hide or fear, made fire in this world. Ember placed a hand on the jewel at her belt. It was hanging in it's little bag. Ember was a little nervous. She wanted to find the secret about this jewel and why she could use fire. She knew it was because of the jewel. She had never been able to summon fire before after all. However when Tara had said that it was a demon crystal, it had shaken Ember a little. Am I a demon? Or becoming one? These thoughts was running through her mind now. She was a little worried.

"Ember? You alright?" Jesse then suddenly questioned "You are squeezing my hand". Ember looked at Jesse and noticed he was right. She quickly let go of him.

"I am just worried Jesse" she then said "I didn't think we would go out and solve the crystals secret right away. I may be a little scared". Jesse smiled and placed a around her and pulled her into a tiny hug.

"Don't worry Em, we will get through this together. Remember the more we knows about these crystals, the bigger chance we have from saving Jim and Hassleberry" he then said and Ember noticed him clenching his fists. She knew he wanted to save both of them. They might be Titan's tool for now, but if Jesse could decide, he would free them. He still saw them as his friends. Ember was feeling the same way. She nodded reassuring to Jesse and took his hand again. Chumley turned towards them.

"This is where we deliver the food" Chumley said and pointed at a clearing up ahead. In the middle was a giant pile of rocks. Ember frowned. It was out in the open. In some way neutral grounds. Enemies could see them, but at the same time allies could too. Tara took a quick look around and then looked at Aster.

"Aster if you will please" she then said and the gray haired male nodded. He walked a little away from them and out in the clearing. Then he let out a high whistling sound. Ember was so surprised that she had to cover her ears. Syrus did as well.

"Why did he do that for?" Jesse questioned. Tara smiled.

"Signaling" she said "If they are here, they now know where we are". Freya snort.

"Yeah and our enemies does as well" She replied coldly and crossed her arms. Ember sighed deeply inside. She really hoped they both didn't begin fighting again.

"Tara, Aster" they suddenly heard a voice say and two people was standing in a tree above them. Ember was a little surprised. They had popped out of the blue.

"Phoenix rises from the ashes" Aster then said.

"A hero's resistance gives hope to the people" Tara said and smiled.

"Magic can create illusions" One of them said and the other added "Luck is part of the battle". Then they jumped down from the branch. It took some time before Ember figured out they were talking in code. They let the hoodie fall and Ember looked surprised. In front of us was Yugi Muto and his best friend Joey wheeler. They were the legendary duelists. Everyone beside, Tara, Aster, Syrus, Atticus and Dimitri was gasping a little. Axel wasn't, but he was having widened eyes.

"Uncle" Tara yelled happily and gave Joey a big hug. Then turned towards Yugi and did the same thing "Godfather". By that Yugi chuckled and rubbed her hair a little.

"Call me by my name Tara. You know that" he then said. Tara grinned a little. The others were staring. A lot actually.

"You what?!" Aster then said and grabbed her "You in family with Joey and Kaiba, and Goddaughter to The Yugi muto, and you never told me". Tara shrugged slowly.

"It never came up. Can you please let me go now?" she replied. Aster did that and walked around mumbling something about 'I beat up Yugi's Goddaughter in practice'. It looked like he was not pleased with himself. Ember giggled a little.

"He looks troubled, don't you think Jesse? Jesse?" She looked over at the spot Jesse had been sitting, but there were no Jesse. Instead he was standing near Yugi.

"It has always been a honor to meet you" Jesse said and was shaking his hand wildly "I always wanted to meet you. You are one of my biggest idol". Ember facepalmed a little. She had forgotten Jesse was a big fan. Yugi smiled.

"Well um likewise um might let go of my hand now" Yugi said. Ember decided to meddle and rushed over to them.

"Jesse, please don't annoy him to much" she said and made him let go of Yugi's hand. Then she bowed deeply "I am sorry for my boyfriend's behavior". Tara chuckled.

"That is Ember and Jesse. Two new ones. They joined us a week or so ago" she began explaining. Ember turned a little red. Then they heard a voice cough a little.

"Oh yeah and that is Axel, one of my best friend and by own choice bodyguard" Tara then said. Ember smirked. Jesse was apparently not the only fan here.

"Hmm Jesse remind me of Jaden a little bit" Joey then said and smirked "Wonder how the brat is doing as vampire. He is still family of course".

"Thank you uncle. Father thinks Jaden is a monster" Tara said happily and hugged her uncle again "But Jaden is doing well. I meet him recently".

"You don't say" Joey replied and frowned. Yugi coughed a little.

"We have to go now. We have already been here for too long" he then said "We can hear the whole story and introductions, when we are in a more safe place". Ember could see Tara nod. Yugi swung his cloak to the side and showed a smaller model of a duel disk on his wrist. It looked a little more hightech that the ones Ember remembered from the past. It was looking like a big watch (remember Kaiba's round disk from Dm series anyone?) with 5 small duel monster slots. The device looked used. Yugi grabbed a card from the deck case at his belt and placed it on the disk.

"Dark magician appear, combining with mystic boxes" Yugi said and dark magician appeared beside them. Ember and the others were in awe. The magician swung his staff and a mystic box appeared. Yugi pointed at it.

"Go through it and you will all end up where the others are now" He explained. They all nodded and walked through the box. As soon as they all had walked through it, the box disappeared in midair. Like it was a magic show.

Mysterious p.o.v.

In the background a little away from where the group had been standing, was people hiding. Three people to be exact, and they were all males. One of them sneered.

"Damn the magician disappeared with them. We have been tracking them so hard" he said and mumbled cursing words. The second one chuckled.

"Don't worry, I got a tracker on one of the boys" he replied and smirked evilly "Not the best idea walking around in these parts now is it boy?". A third one nodded.

"Yes sir, I got a tracker on them, just like you asked them sir" he then said.

"Good, now we just need to lure them in" the first one said and looked at the boy "You sure we should have taken the boy with us?". The second one snort.

"Yeah, he needs to earn experience" he replied "We could need more hunters".

"Well sure, it is your mess if we fail then" the first replied "Any idea on how to lure them in?". The second one hummed.

"I think I have an idea" he replied and smirked evilly.
