At the end of the world.

Normal p.o.v.

Thunder roared in the air and a black clouded sky covered the land. White fog covered the ocean beneath and made the vast sea and sky even more creepy. In the sky was a black carriage flying through the air, and was pulled by three enormous duel monsters alias "vampire bats". Even with the lightning and thunder roaring in the air the three bats kept a steady course. The storm didn't get to them, and even if it did, they also knew their mistress and her company inside would get angry. They tried to make the ride as much comfortable as they could, since they were happy to serve their mistress. In the horizon the three bats could see their destination. An old island, deserted for people. One of the bats let out of a little scream, to let their mistress know they were almost there. The curtains were removed from one of the windows in the carriage. Three shadows were showed and later revealed to be three persons. Two males and a female. All three vampires. The female, a young adult, who also was this mistress, the one and only Camula. The former shadow rider and now one of the rulers of this "doomed" world as humans called it. Camula smirked a little. It was funny how humans thought this world was doomed and wanted to change it. Even though they couldn't do a thing. This world was perfect, or almost perfect. A couple of things still needed to get fixed, but Camula was not in a hurry. She knew that she and her pack of vampires would fix it sooner or later. They just had to be patient. She was dressed in a red gorgeous dress, in her eyes, and a pair of black high heeled boots. The mistress looked over at the two males, two boys a little under her age. She couldn't stop smiling for a while. Starting off her journey as the only vampire left in the world, to now have a continuously rising pack. She couldn't be more pleased.

"Mistress is there something wrong?" one of them asked.

The oldest one Camula noticed. She tilted her head and smiled. He had been a prize indeed. She looked over at the other one. The younger one. He was currently looking out of the window. Camula smiled. They had both been a sweet prize indeed.

"No darling, just caught in memory lane for a while" She replied the older one.

"Oh I see" He replied and smiled back. "Apparently you are not the only one Mistress". He made a gesture with his hand toward the other boy. Camula turned towards the young vampire and placed a hand on top on his head while stroking it.

"Have you found something interesting to watch my dear" she asked the young boy.

He quickly woke up when he felt her hand stroke his hair and quickly turned his face towards her. His eyes looked at first distant black, then his red spark returned. He had always been a distant, moody and sometimes mysterious Vampire, compared to the other, who rarely spoke and almost always was calm and collected. However in presence of his mistress, the younger boy always lit up. He smiled a wide smile.

"Oh I am sorry mistress, I was just looking at the island" He said and looked down "I just can't believe we are returning after all this time. How long has it been? One? Two years?" He said and sighed in a dreamy voice. The other coughed a little.

"7!" the other said "It has been 7 years". The boy looked surprised, but then smiled.

"Really?" He said "Wow time flies, wonder how she..". He shook his head. Camula moved her hand down to his cheek, and the boy instantly calmed down.

"You know my dear, we are only on a short visit" She told him "As soon as I am finished here, it is back to the kingdom. Back to our home". The boy nodded.

"Of course Mistress" He said in a happy tone "There is no better place than home after all".

Camula smiled and removed her hand. She could hear the other hum something who sounded like "Be grateful". She just pretended she didn't hear it. They were both loyal and obedient, like people from her pack should be, despite the different personalities. They have both worked together before as well and their teamwork was exceptional. A sudden wind made the carriage move, and Camula looked out of the window. They were about to land.

As soon as they landed, the older one rushed out and was as a gentleman, guiding his mistress out of the carriage. The younger one, was holding the door, but as soon as his mistress was out, he was looking stunned around.

"Duel academy!" He said in an outburst "It has been so many years. It is a little darker than I remember, but it is the duel academy island". The other one snort.

"Of course it is. Everything is darker and better. This is our world" He said and snort "Be grateful our mistress rules the world and chose you to come with her". The younger one stopped up. He looked surprised for a moment, then he bowed to them.

"I am sorry if I am ungrateful or disrespectful Mistress" He said "I didn't mean to sound like that. I am really grateful". Camula smiled a little and nodded.

"I know you are my dear" she said "You are just yourself and I know you are eager to look around. Return to me when the day is about to end okay?". The boy nodded and bowed again. His face showed true happiness.

"Yes of course. You are too kind Mistress" He said and then suddenly lifted a pair of wings, who had been hidden really well on his back and seconds later, he was in the air and gone. The other male was gazing at the boy before he disappeared in the horizontal. Then he sighed. He turned toward his mistress.

"Mistress, that was considerable nice of you" He said "I suspect you chose him out of all of us for this quest, just so he could get over his sort of homesickness".

"You are seeing right through me every time darling" she said and smiled.

"I am doing my best" He said and smiled as well. "You are my mistress after all".

"Now let's keep going shall we" she suddenly said. The male nodded and they walked towards the old main building, they once used as school.

"It is always a honor to meet them again my dear Camula" said Banner and actually kissed her hand like a gentle man. Her follower sneered in the background, but she waved with her hand at him. He went quickly quiet.

"You haven't aged a bit" Banner continued and smiled "You are as beautiful as ever".

"I could say that to you too, at least with the aging part" She said and took her hand away "Is that a new body you have been making? You really have no idea how to make an attractive male body, now do you".

They were standing at the main gate to the school building, who was the only building who was taking care of after all these years. The other buildings etc. the dorms was not and Camula figured most of them either was overgrown with plants or beginning to crumple. Or she thought they were. She was after all not an architect. Banner smiled an innocent smile. Camula was sure he was faking it, like he did at that time when he was teacher and the world was filled with light. He was looked like he did last time they saw each other. Having his black hair and glasses. Rumors had it, that Banner created clones of himself in his lap, and used them to inhabit his soul. Something about that the sacred beasts had given and would give him some of their energy. It made his clone bodies like a real one, but he had to switch bodies once in a while. Secondly it gave him eternal youth. He was dressed in a similar dress code when he was teacher, but was having a long black trench coat on as well. Camula knew he was scientist and was having a kingdom in Europa or the old Europa. She had heard something about a spell Kagemaru and Banner had worked on that made the world as dark as it was now. She had heard that the spell should have changed the world drastic. Camula didn't care that much about it. Her own kingdom in the old Asia, suited her just fine.

"Well I am not that keen on my appearing's my dear Camula" Banner said "What I care about is pure science". The vampire mistress snort. He hadn't changed a bit.

"What about the others? Have they arrived?" She asked. Banner smiled a little again.

"Our lord Kagemaru is already here of course. However we are still missing Titan and Tania".

Camula snort by the mentioning of the amazon woman. Her and her pack didn't like her at all. Being the only female rulers, Amazons and Vampires was having a fierce rivalry. She could hear her follower sneer as well. Titan was not so bad, but Vampires were more keen about their own kind than anyone else actually. Banner looked up and was now staring at the vampire mistress's follower. He smiled.

"So you chose him and.. I thought you said you had two followers with you my dear Camula?" He said. The female vampire snort and waved her follower over to her side. He obeyed without question, but he was sending Banner a cold look.

"Huff Banner" said the vampire male and snort. Banner smiled a fake smile again.

"Oh I see, you brought HIM with you as the second one didn't you?. I would love to study up on him. A vampire who has weak memory link to his former life" he said "Properly around having a sightseeing of some sort right now I presume".

"You dare talk about my pack brother like that" The male said in an angry tone "We might not be dna related, but one from our pack is considered family". Camula smiled and her fangs was shown as well. Then she placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Easy darling, he will not lay a hand on your brother" she said "He has a treaty to uphold. He shall have a permission lay a hand on any of us, unless he wants to feel our fury". Banner grinned and nodded a little.

"Ah yes your mistress is right" He said "But you could just give me a little of your hair as dna for a test sample. You are after all the first who got changed. Isn't that right Zane Truesdale".

Zane's p.o.v.

Zane sneered. Oh how he hated the scientist right now. If it wasn't for his mistress's resting hand on his shoulder, he would have shredded him to pieces. However sadly his mistress hadn't given any order of that. He was actually happy that his partner, the other pack brother, wasn't here right now. He properly had to hold him back for injuring Banner right now if he wasn't. Zane sighed inside and snort at Banner.

"No dna" He said and added "No dna from any of us". He could feel his mistress clapping his shoulder in improvement, before she removed it. Banner sighed.

"Oh that is a shame" he said and smiled "Maybe another time". Zane snort. He didn't believe that there ever would be any from the pack who would give him any dna.

"So you have no follower with you?" Camula asked and looked around. Banner smiled and shook his head.

"I couldn't let any leave the lap. Research is the most important thing after all" He said "I can take care of myself just fine". Zane snort. He wondered by that.

"Well look who we have here" said a voice suddenly and a giant man in a long black coat and mask on appeared at the main gate "It looks like we weren't the first boy".

Behind the man appeared a boy on almost Zane's own age. Also dressed in black. In black and read pants, white shirt and a black jacket. He was having black hair and had a hat on. Over his clothes was a base cloak. Zane only saw his clothes because the wind was making the cloak blow in the wind. The boy sighed deeply.

"I am sorry master Titan, I was slow, I am sorry mat.." said the boy and bowed.

"Oh yes you are" the male giant said and hit the boy on the head "There is gonna be a hard training exercises when we come home". The boy didn't look so good, but nodded. It was pretty clear the boy was scared of his master.

"As you wish mat.. master" He just quickly said.

Zane looked at the boy's Master. It was Titan. His mistress had told him about him. A former shadow rider and now ruler of the old Scandinavian. What his mistress Camula had told him was that, he once was trapped in dark realm, but was saved by our lord Kagemaru. Now he had apparently mastered the darkness he was trapped in. Rumors said that he had turned into a sort of Satanist, and was experimenting with darkness and demons. Zane looked at the boy who was apparently his minion. Zane could smell something foul from him. Like he wasn't any normal human any longer. Just like his master wasn't. Zane knew the boy once had been a human though. He just couldn't remember what he was called as human sadly. Everything from before his change to vampire, he couldn't quite remember, but Zane also had a feeling, he hadn't seen him in his former life. However that was of course a hunch. Titan snort coldly.

"You saved that quick didn't you boy" His master said "You know I hate these words you are saying once in a while. Learn to control it". The boy nodded a little. Titan snort and turned towards the others.

"Minions" He said and laughed a little "Incompetent and worthless at first, but with the proper training, they can be quite useful". Zane snort inside. At least his mistress was not like that. Camula had never forced him to do anything he didn't like doing.

"Well let's all get inside" said Banner suddenly. "Tania said she would be a little late". Zane snort. Of course the amazons where late. They were amazons!

They walked inside the old school building and inside a meeting room, they have used before if they ever had important stuff to discuss. That really didn't happen that much. If Zane could recall, they only had one meeting in between the 7 years they had been ruling. He hadn't been with Camula at that meeting, because he had been on an assignment, so she had taken someone else from the pack with her. If Zane had his old memories he would know they were in that meeting room, where chancellor Sheppard and the teachers were discussing the school duel. It had been 7 years ago. In a chair at a table near a giant window was a giant muscular man sitting. He was dressed in a pair of black pants, with matching color blouse. A red, golden armored west was placed over it. A black belt was barely visible, but Zane knew a deck case was in it somewhere. His black long and a little curly hair was falling smoothly down at his shoulders. It kind of looked like a lion's mane, but at the same time fitted so well. Zane knew this was Kagemaru, the new ruler of the world. He was actually in charge of where the old north America was supposed to be. Tania had the south Amerika, but everything else of places who wasn't mentioning, belonged to Kagemaru. That was kind of the benefits of being the ruler. He looked at them.

"Ah welcome" he said and smirked a little "I wondered when you all showed up". He gestured with his hand at the table. The other 3 rulers nodded. Zane was a little confused on what to do here, when he felt his mistress's hand on his shoulder again.

"Darling, this may take a while" she said "You can either stay in here or go outside and take a break like your pack brother, you can chose". Zane frowned. He looked at his mistress and smiled a little. Then he shook his head.

"I have sworn to protect you Mistress" He said "You are only sending me away because you are worried about HIM, our pack brother, but he is stronger than he look. He can take care of himself". Camula looked at him and nodded.

"Fine then take a seat darling" she said and pointed out in the background behind her.

The other servants of the different kingdoms had also placed themselves in the background at either some chairs or on the floor. Zane nodded and left over there as well. He chose to stand beside Titan's servant boy, who was sitting on the floor as the only one. They were shortly looking at each other, without saying a word. Zane knew there were however two unspoken words, shown in the eyes between them. The words "Vampire" and the word "Demon". Zane sighed inside and was leaning towards the wall. He was shortly looking at the 4 rulers sitting at the table. Then he sighed. This was gonna be a long meeting. He just knew!

Mysterious p.o.v.

The other young vampire of Camula's pack was in the meantime flying around the island. He was pretty excited. He had been around the whole island looking at every place, he spotty remember from his memories. Being the only vampire with few memories of his former life, wasn't easy. His partner, friend and pack brother Zane, as well as the other vampires in the pack, didn't have this problem and therefore couldn't understand his pain fully. The boy sighed. Sometimes it was better to forget and start anew. The only thing he remembered was stuff here at the duel academy. Before the world was filled with darkness. Secondly he kind of didn't miss his old life. He was happy here in the pack. Camula was a good mistress. He let out a sigh and flapped with his wings. He was on his way over to the Slifer red dorm. He had already been at the Obelisk blue dorm, as well as Ra yellow. The grass had been standing tall, but the buildings had at least been standing. He had walked around in the dorms for a while, lost in memories, who as soon as he left the places, disappeared from his mind as well. He wanted to go to every dorm and even check the school, but first after his mistress's meeting of course. He could of course not disturb her. He could hear the sound of waves and smiled. It was so long since he had heard that sound. He must be close to the red dorm now. The boy looked down and frowned a little. Something was wrong here. Seen the view from above, like he had done with the other dorms, the grass should at least be taller and.. he frowned even more. He wasn't an expert in buildings and stuff, but he knew the yellow and the blue dorm was made out of some sort of stone. He also knew the red dorm was made out of wood right? He landed on the ground, close at the dorm. Yep! Something was differently wrong here. The grass had been cut recently and it actually looked like someone had been fixing the dorm. The wood on one of the post to the stairs looked like new. He smirked a little. Someone was differently living here. He didn't think their lord Kagemaru, would be interesting in fixing this place at all, or make someone do that. He licked his lip a little. Maybe there was living humans here. They all had eaten before they came here, but there was always room for desert. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. If someone was living here recently, then he would could smell them. Secondly he could hear some small sounds. Bingo! Humans and they were here right now. In this dumb. He opened his eyes and walked over to the cafeteria. He smirked. It was really nostalgic that he got some food in the old cafeteria. He was almost at the door when he heard this human voice yell up. It surprised him. Humans shouldn't normally notice Vampires. They were soundless. However someone had noticed him.

"Whoever you are, leave this place" yelled a women's voice "Or you will regret it".

The boy smirked. He didn't think this woman would have anything on her that could kill a vampire, but like Zane told him millions of times, you couldn't be too careful.

"Oh I am sorry" He said in a weak pretending voice "I got washed up on the beach. I have been wandering around here for a while and I am hungry and thirsty. I just want to find my family".

The boy grinned inside. He couldn't believe how good he had become over the years in acting. He could hear the women snort. The boy smirked. Figures someone wasn't that trustworthy, but he had to try. Then he heard voices talk. He figured there were more than one. Then he heard the door slowly open.

"I will see for myself how helpless you are" a woman's voice said and jumped quick out of the door armed with a rifle.

A skinny girl followed, ready with two sharp knives. The boy was eyeing the two females and was not sure if he should laugh. This whole scene was just awkwardly funny. The two ladies turned towards him and froze. The boy did as well actually. He was staring at the two female with widened eyes.

"Sadie and Dorothea" He said in a low voice and couldn't believe what he was seeing.

However it was really them. The strongly built Dorothea from the card shop so many years ago and her helper Sadie. Rumors had it that they were on the run together with Chancellor Sheppard and some other wanted people, Kagemaru wanted to get rid of. However that was apparently not the case. The two females was staring at him as well. The boy smirked inside. The years hadn't been good to them. Sadie was really skinny and Dorothea was not looking really healthy either. He smiled. They were gonna be too easy a prey. Dorothea's eyes widened when she looked at him.

"No!" she said shocked "No! It can't be! A vampire and then it is..". Tears were falling down her cheeks now. The boy smirked.

"Long time no see" he just said casually "You wouldn't mind becoming my food now would yer. You see I am kind of hungry for your blood". Sadie looked pale and Dorothea shook her head wildly. She dropped scared her rifle.

"We didn't believe the rumors" she said slowly and backed away "We believed with all.. you were such a.. you had your flaws, but this is just.. Mhh". The boy had rushed forward so fast that Dorothea didn't finished her sentence. He had slammed a hand over her mouth and prevented her from continuing. He snort coldly.

"You were about to say my name weren't you" He said coldly "I hate when people I sort of remember does that. It gives me the most annoying headache. I am trying to move on here people. This world is not worth saving anyway".

He looked over Sadie and quickly knocked her out cold. No one was allowed to use his name. At least not someone who could make him remember. His mistress or people from the pack could, but no one else was allowed. He knocked Dorothea out as well and removed his hand. He smirked and licked his lip. He was about to place his fangs in the ladies neck when he heard a weird sound and let go of his target. He sneered.

"Let go of that woman old friend" yelled another voice and a massive body hit him and made him fall down in the grass.

The boy sneered. On a giant "Soul tiger" in the air, was a bold woman sitting and looking down at him. On his chest was another girl sitting and was actually smiling at him. The boy sneered. Of course! Anyone who would disturb my dinner, would have to be amazons! He sneered again. Tania, the last of the rulers was sitting on that tiger. Oh how he hated Amazons stupid smile.

"My lady I got him" said the other female, who was sitting on his chest.

Her hands was placed firmly on his chest and pushed him down, however the boy had no intentions to move anyway. He had noticed who this amazon girl actually was. It was a girl with long brown hair.

"Oh of all the amazons, it just had to be you" he sneered "You are destroying my dinner here. You both are!". The girl just smiled.

"Yep! Long time no see" the girl replied. Tania snort and glared down at the boy now.

"Do your mistress know you are feasting out here" she asked. The boy sneered.

"She knows I am out here yes, but no she doesn't know I am about dine" He replied "Now move your little annoying minion from my chest and let me dine in peace".

Tania snort again and jumped down from the tiger as well. She walked over to the human females, noticed the boy and sneered. She wasn't gonna take his dinner from him wasn't she? Amazons had a stupid habit of doing that. She grabbed the two females and tossed them over her shoulder. Then she looked at the boy.

"You can let him go now" she told her minion and the girl nodded and got of him.

The boy sneered and was quick up on his feet's. If it wasn't for.. for this stupid peace treaty, he had attacked and knocked the girl off him. However his mistress had told him, that even though they weren't fond of the amazons, he couldn't attack them without a good reason. He snort and looked at the amazon leader.

"You are taking my dinner" he told her with an angry voice. The amazon just snort.

"They could be valued info for Kagemaru" She just told him "Therefore you can't just eat them". The boy sneered. Tania's tiger was standing on the ground now and the two amazons jumped up on the tiger's back. They were still carrying his prey.

"Not fair, I found them. Therefore they are mine!" the boy said. Tania snort.

"Well you can take that up with Kagemaru and your mistress" The amazon just said and smiled that annoying smile "You can fly on your own right? Or want a ride to the school?". The boy sneered and lifted his wings. Seconds later he was in the air.

"Like I need help from a stupid Amazon" He said "Just get a move on!". The amazons smiled and nodded. Then they rushed towards the school.

Camula's p.o.v.

Camula was sighing inside. She was really not a person who loved meetings. She could see the benefits for them, but they could be a drag as well. Banner and Kagemaru was in a conversation about this spell they had created in this world and it's benefits and weaknesses, but Camula and Titan couldn't really add anything to that subject. She sighed inside and looked over at her follower Zane. He was keeping a close eye on everything around him, but mostly he was looking at her from time to time. Her and the boy Titan brought with him. Zane and the boy was staring at each other and it looked like they almost was having a conversation. An unspoken conversation! She smiled a little.

"Well anything else do discuss until Tania arrives here" said Kagemaru suddenly "I would save the most pressing news for later. Until we all are gathered, but we can begin with small issue topics". Camula woke quickly up by that.

"I actually have something to say gentleman's" she said quickly and waved Zane over to her side.

The vampire quickly rushed over, but he looked a little confused. She wasn't surprised at all. This was an decision she made without consulting her pack.

"I have a request to ask actually" Camula continued. Kagemaru frowned a little.

"Oh and that would be, my dear Camula?" He asked. She smiled and her fangs were shown as well.

"I have someone in mind that I want to add to the pack" She said "And well you know the protocol of me adding a new vampire. I have to tell you about it first, before the change". Everyone went quiet. Kagemaru leaned back in his chair and looked like he was thinking about this quite a lot. The others looked a little surprised.

"That is a shock" said Banner and grinned a little "You haven't added to the pack in years. Aren't 9 bloodsuckers enough?!". Camula noticed Zane tense. He sneered a little as well. She figured he didn't like getting called bloodsucker.

"Calm down darling" she said "Just ignore his comment". Zane sneered, but nodded.

"Yes mistress, but why didn't you tell me you considered a new sibling" he said in a whispering voice. Camula smiled and padded his shoulder. Kagemaru coughed.

"So who is the individual" He asked "You normally doesn't consult this on the meetings, but more in private with me and your pack". Camula nodded.

"There is a reason for that my lord" she said and smiled. She tossed him a picture "I haven't caught this individual just yet. However I have considered this for a while, and even you must admit it is important to discuss here, don't you think". Kagemaru had grabbed the picture and his eyes widened a little.

"Who does she want?" Banner asked and Kagemaru gave the pic to the others as well. They both widened their eyes as well. Banner then grinned a little.

"Uhu interesting" He said "Really interesting. Maybe this could be worth studying as well". Titan hummed a little and was looking at the minion boy for a moment. Kagemaru didn't say something for a while. Still thinking. Then a voice rang through the room. A voice she really hated.

"Oh whatever individual this girl is adding to her pack, it can't be good news" Tania said and walked inside in the room.

She was carrying two females on her shoulders. Right behind her was her amazon follower. Smiling that happy smile Camula really hated. She sneered. Tania just had to show up right now. Then she noticed a sound. Almost soundless footsteps. Humans couldn't normally hear it, but for a vampire it wasn't a problem. She was therefore not even surprised, when her second Vampire minutes later kneeled beside her. However she could see he was angry. Zane was standing beside him, and had noticed his anger as well. Kagemaru looked at Tania.

"What makes you say that Tania?" He questioned. The amazon snort a little.

"I mean she can't even control the vampires she already have" She said "And then she wants to add another one. I don't think that is a good idea". Camula sneered. How dare she accuse that? Kagemaru coughed again and looked at Tania.

"And why do you accuse that?" He asked in a neutral tone. Tania sighed.

"I arrived on the island and saw him at the old red dorm" She began and pointed at the boy. She tossed the two females for the feet's of Kagemaru, then she continued. "He was about to dine on two people. These people, when we stopped him. He claims he is allowed free on the island". Kagemaru and the others looked over at Camula. She sighed and looked down at the boy.

"What happened my dear?" she asked him in a calm tone "And calm down before speaking". The boy nodded a little. Then he looked up at her.

"Mistress I am sorry, I couldn't help it. I was on a flight around the island. Looking around like I was allowed, when I noticed the red dorm was fixed. These two humans were there and I just couldn't help myself" He said "I know it is wrong to dine without your permission, but they.. I know them. They made me remember and I don't want that mistress. I don't want that!". Camula sighed and placed a hand on top his head and stroked his hair. He slowly calmed down. Kagemaru coughed a little.

"I see, so the boy found Sadie and Dorothea hiding on the island, maybe they are contacts to Sheppard or the other wanted, but maybe not. If they aren't, Camula he found them, so you decide what to do with them" Kagemaru decided and looked at Titan "And your group are gonna search the red dorm after this meeting Titan".

"With all respect my lord, but why wait?" Titan said and waved his minion over here. He was as quick as Zane, noticed Camula "The brat can do that while we continue our meeting. He is an excellent tracker. Isn't that right boy?". The boy bowed. First to Titan, then Kagemaru. He pushed up his hat a little too.

"Of course Master. May I leave right away?" He asked. Titan nodded a little.

"Yes and don't take too long" He just said. The boy nodded and rushed out of the room. Kagemaru nodded impressed and turned towards the others.

"Well, let the real meeting begin then" Kagemaru said and then looked at Camula "First point 'the resistance!', and if anyone sees this individual however, they shall get captured alive and turned over to Camula. She is getting a new vampire to her pack".
