You find Zane standing over Atticus.

Y/N: Zane!

The duelist smirks and looks at you.

Zane: Come to suffer again?

Y/N: I'll defeat you! One way or another!

Zane: Bring it!

Y/N: I'll go first. I set a card and summon Edea the Heavenly Squire!

A woman in white armor appears.

(Edea Level 1 Atk: 800)

Y/N: Edea's effect will let me summon a Vassal or Squire from my deck. I choose Edos the Underworld Squire.

A creature in black armor joins Edea.

(Edos Level 2)

Y/N: When Edos is summoned I can normal summon a second time. I tribute Edea and Edos! Make way for this bad boy! I summon Erebus the Underworld Monarch!

A large shadowy monster appears.

(Erebus Level 8 Atk: 2800)

Zane: So you got some new cards.

Y/N: Yep. I also activate Shard of Greed! I set a card and end my turn.

Zane: I draw!

Y/N: During your Standby phase I activate Non-Fusion Area! Now neither one of us can Fusion Summon!

Zane: Fine. I summon Exploder Dragon! Exploder Dragon! Attack Erebus! And if Exploder Dragon goes down, so does your Monarch!

Y/N: No...

Zane: I set two cards and end.

Y/N: Draw! I activate the effect of Mithra the Thunder Vassal! I can Special Summon her and summon a Vassal token to your field!

A woman clad in shaman like armor appears.

(Mithra Level 2 Atk: 800)
(Vassal Token Level 1 Def: 1000)

Y/N: I tribute her right away! Come forth! Mobius the Frost Monarch!

Mobius appears in Mithra's place.

Y/N: Mobius's effect will destroy your set cards! Mithra has another effect as well. When she's used to tribute summon, I can tribute summon a second time! I tribute Mobius the Frost Monarch and call forth! Raiza the Storm Monarch!

In Mobius's place, stood a green monster.

(Raiza Level 6 Atk: 2400)

Y/N: Raiza sends a card on your field to the top of that card's owner's deck. And I target your token. It may not go to your deck, but you're now wide open! Raiza, Cyclone Fury!

Zane LP: 4000---> 1600

Y/N: I end my turn. I will get Hamon back and stop you!

Zane: You can try. I draw. I set a monster and end my turn.

Y/N: Draw! Since two turns have passed, I tribute Shard of Greed to draw two cards! I activate the Monarchs Stormforth! I'll use your monster to tribute summon! Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch!

A flaming warrior appears beside Raiza.

(Thestalos Level 6 Atk: 2400)

Y/N: Thestalos forces you to discard a random card and if it's a monster, you take damage equal to its level times one hundred.

Zane is forced to discard Cyberdark Horn.

Zane LP: 1600---> 1200)

Y/N: I'm not done! I activate Advance Carnival! This allows me to tribute summon yet again! I tribute Raiza and Thestalos! Come forth! Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord!

In the place of the two monarchs, a massive dark dragon stood.

(Van'Dalgyon Level 8 Atk: 2800)

Y/N: Van'Dalgyon! End this duel! Flames of Destruction!

The dragon fires a current of purple energy from its maw and defeats Zane. You take Hamon back and you hear his voice sigh in relief.

Hamon: Thanks for saving me, Partner.

Y/N: No problem.

You look at Zane. Not with rage, but with pity. You're disappointed in what the Former head of Obelisk has become.

Y/N: I hope this was worth it, Zane.

You walk off and Zane gets up.

Zane: I can't believe I lost.
