The Ishtar family got off the plane, they were back in Egypt, due to Ishizu's job. "Ok, I work till eight tonight, can I trust you two that the house will still be standing when I come back?" Ishizu inquired. "Of course you can trust us sis! I probably won't be in the house for most of the day, now that I can finally be above ground." Marik exclaimed. "Very well then, just be careful." Ishizu warned.  Later that day, Marik set out to go explore the town "My, a lot has certainly changed I was here." Marik continued on his way, when he saw something, it was a young girl, about 4 or 5 running away with guards chasing after her. Marik took a shortcut and got to the girl first. "Keep your mouth shut and let me do the talking, I won't hurt you." You immediately nodded. "HALT! Remove yourself from this girl, citizen, for she is a thief." Marik noticed out of the corner of his eye that the girl was holding a loaf of bread. Not wanting the little girl to get in trouble, he came up with an idea. "I will not step away from my daughter thank you very much, and as for the loaf of bread, here." Marik handed a guard some money to pay for the loaf. "And I can assure you I will be having a long discussion about stealing with her. Isn't that right?" He looked at you, and you nodded. "Very well, just get out of our sight before I change my mind. Nodding, Marik took the girls' hand, and led her away from the village. "Ok kid, I helped you out, now you can help me by telling me who you are, and where your parents are." your gaze shifted to the ground, and you shuffled your feet. "My name is (y/n), and I don't have any parents, my mommy died a year ago, and I never met my daddy, that's why I stole, I was hungry. Here, I'm sorry." She handed out the loaf of bread for him to take, Marik shook his head. "Absolutely not, come on, you're coming home with me, would you like that?" You nodded eagerly, causing the Ishtar to chuckle. Besides, Marik thought as he led her back to his home. I'm sure Odion and Ishizu wouldn't mind her living with us. She needs all the help and nutrition she can get. Marik smiled, maybe coming back to Egypt wasn't so bad after all.
