Malik was walking alone in silence in the city. He had just won a duel, "That mortal was pathetic didn't even stand a chance against me." He was making his way home when he heard a sniffle coming from an alleyway. Deciding to investigate, he went in to see you, you were at least 4 years old, and looked scared. Malik came up to you, "Are you alright? Where are your parents?" The little girl sniffed again and said "I don't have a daddy, and some man shot my mommy." It was then that Malik noticed a body not too far from them, and it looked a lot like her mother. Malik was trying to figure out what to do, normally he had no problems with letting mortals such as the girl suffer, but somehow he couldn't. He didn't know why but he couldn't. "How about if you come and live with me? It would be better than living out here." You nodded liking the idea, "I'm (y/n) by the way." "Malik." Malik picked up the little girl and started heading back for home, the little girl snuggled into his arms and fell asleep. "Maybe this whole parenting thing won't be so bad after all.
