Shadow caught up to them and went to the You Show School. While walking Yuya decided to ask him some questions.

Yuya: So, what kind type of Deck are you using, Shadow? I only know that you are using the Synchro method?

Yuya asked looking at him with curiosity in her eyes causing Shadow to chuckle

Shadow: Well I welled the Ice Barriers. I do have some other water monsters in my main deck. A earth monster in it. And some other surprises in my extra deck

Shadow said as Vicky showed up next to him

Vicky: Yea like powerful Xyz monsters called Numbers and Cxyz

Vicky said as she leans on him, but to due to her being a duel spirit only Shadow heard and saw her

Zuzu: I see, I totally see that since you summon that Ice Barrier dragon on the field

Zuzu said as Yuya got a little excited

Yuya: I can't wait to face you in a Duel, Shadow!

Shadow: You have to wait until we reach You Show School. Then maybe

Yuya said causing Zuzu to nod with a smile

Shadow said as they walked. An hour passed until they finally arrive at You Show School and once they enter the building, they got swarmed by three kids. Then Yuya and Zuzu introduced them to Shadow. The one with blue hair is Trina, the red-haired girl is Allie and the bunny girl is Dina.

Yuya and Zuzu are talking to Dina and Trina, while Allie came to Shadow and looks at him. Shadow smiles as he pet her head causing her to smile.

Shadow: Well then little girl, do you want to see what it looks like up here?

Shadow asked as she nods her head and with that, Shadow picks her up before putting her on his shoulder, and she widens her eyes sees the view up high, and smiles.

Allie: Wow! It's so high up here! You're tall mister!

Allie said causing Shadow to chuckle

Shadow: It's no problem at all I am pretty strong.

Shadow said as Miza appeared as she lifts his shirt up to reveal his abs

Miza: Pretty strong my ass

Miza said as Shadow glance at her. The then others walked toward Shadow, while the other kids is swarming him.

Trina: Is it true that you defeat Sylvio?

Trina asked looking up at him as Shadow smirks

Shadow: Of course, I beat him. And I sent those dogs running with their tails between their legs.

Shadow said as the kids look at him with admiration looks.

Trina: Wow, that's so cool!

Trina said as she had starts in her eyes

Dina: Cool? That's amazing.

Dina said as Yuya and Zuzu laugh at him for getting swarmed by the kids and their antics. Eventually, a man rushes out from the corner and introduces himself. The man had a red jacket with an orange flames tracksuit that matches his hair.

Skip: Hi! I am Skip Boyle, Principal of You Show Academy and Zuzu's father.

Skip said as he raises his hand at Shadow and he accept it and shook hands.

Shadow: I'm Shadow Todoroki, it's nice to meet you.

Shadow said as he introduced himself to the principal

Skip: Thanks for helping out Yuya and Zuzu here

Skip said causing Shadow to shrug

Shadow: It was no problem, I was just teaching the mutt a lesson.

Shadow said as the kids giggle

Skip: I heard that you're thinking of joining the You Show Duel Academy.

Skip said with this weird look his eyes causing Shadow to nod

Shadow: Yes, though I haven't made a decision yet. but Yuya and Zuzu are giving me the tour of this place.

Allie: In that case, we will give you a tour of the school,too

Allie as she hugs her friends close to her as a voice spoke up

Gong: Who is this person? Gong's never seen him before.

Gong said as Shadow turned around to see him as he and a short-haired girl with cyan hair followed him behind, appeared

Yuya: Hi Gong, when did you get here? I hope you weren't waiting for too long.

Yuya said as Gong shook his head

Gong: No, Gong was wondering if my rival is interested in another friendly match before the Maiami championship

Gong said as Yuya smiles before shaking her head

Yuya: Sorry Gong, maybe another time. For now, I want to introduce you to my new friend here!

Yuya said that and the bulky man walks towards Shadow. They both stare at each other with Shadow having an icy blue aura around him with Gong having a red aura around him. Everyone there watched in amazement as Shadow sticks his hand out

Shadow: I'm Shadow Todoroki, Nice to meet you.

Gong: Gong, Yuya's childhood friend. It's a pleasure to meet you too Shadow

Gong said as he shook Shadow's hand. Lastly, the cyan-haired girl walks toward him.

Sora: I'm Sora Perse! Nice to meet you!

Sora said as Shadow looks at her

Shadow: Nice to meet you as well.

Shadow said as had a fake smile as Yuya pops up

Yuya: Do you guys know? Shadow is a strong Duelist!

Yuya exclaimed as Zuzu chimed in

Zuzu: Yeah, he can Synchro summon and beat Sylvio in one turn!

Zuzu said and after hearing the name Sylvio, Gong was not pleased with all.

Gong: Was that Sylvio bothering you again, Yuya?

Gong asked the girl who shrugs

Yuya: Yeah, something like that.

Yuya said and with that, she explained to Gong what happened, how they met Shadow, how Sylvio wanted to have revenge, and how he beat him effortlessly with his Synchro monster.

Sora: Hmm, so you are an Synchro user...interesting

Sora said as Shadow narrows his eyes at her

Shadow: She's checking on me to see if I'm from the Synchro Dimension.

Shadow thought as Gong spoke up

Gong: Gong is grateful for you protecting my friend. Thank you, Shadow!

Shadow: I've been traveling around a lot of the countries and learning some Duel tactics in years. However, the reason I'm here is easy. I'm looking for an old....friend of mine

Shadow said as Zuzu voiced her concerns

Zuzu: What about your parents? They didn't mind you traveling?

Zuzu asked causing Shadow to shrug

Shadow: Don't really know don't really care

Shadow said as Zuzu narrows her eyes in annoyance

Skip said and upon hearing this, Sora was eager to participate. She wanted to see this Synchro Duelist power beforehand. Gong seemed voluntary too. Even though he wasn't a member of You Show, he still thought of himself as a big part of the school. Suddenly Yuya spoke up

Yuya: I will be your opponent. Since we are the ones who found you, it should be my job to impress you with my Entertainment Duel!

Yuya said causing Shadow to nod

Skip: Then it is settled! Prepare for a hot-blooded Duel!!

Skip said as he rushed to what Shadow believed is the Control room. Shadow puts down Allie from his shoulder and then followed Yuya to what seemed to be a large open room while Zuzu and the rest moved to the spectator area while Skip was preparing the action field. Meanwhile, Shadow just looked around.

Shadow: Are we Dueling here?

Shadow asked as Yuya nods

Yuya: Yes but first, I want to ask something. Have you been in an Action Duel Shadow?

Yuya asked as Shadow once again reached for his scar again without knowing before putting his hand back down

Shadow: I kinda been in one before.

Shadow said as Yuya looks on in concern

Yuya: I thought i imagined it before but whenever I say a certain thing he reaches for his scar. Was he in a duel related accident?

Yuya thought as she saw Shadow put on his Duel Disk and insert his Deck then activate it with Yuya doing the same.

Shuzo: Since this is Shadow's first Action Duel, I will pick this! Field spell: Ice Cavern!

Skip said as the whole arena changed into a town made out of ice.

Shadow: Is this an Action field or Field Spell?

Shadow asked as he and his duel spirits look around in amazement

Yuya: It is an Action field, but there are no power boosts or effects to support the monsters, this is a solid vision and everything turned into real reality.

Yuya said as she smiles

Shadow: Interesting...

Shadow said as he then touched one of the icicles and it feels real. He smiles as he saw the girls playing on the ice

Yuya: Now, Let's get started! Since this Duel is your first Action Duel, we will forego the chant and we will just say Action Duel.

Yayu said as Shadow nodded and stand straight as they both shout in unison.

Shadow said as his sea serpent girl appeared

Brionac roared. Meanwhile, at the LDS Headquarters, a man wearing a suit and glasses named Claude was looking at the monitors until it detected a strong summoning method.

Claude: Madam, we detected a strong summoning energy! And it's stronger than before!

Claude said gaining the attention of Delia

Delia: Do we have a visual?

Delia asked as the monitors shows You Show

Claude: It's from the You Show Duel School.

Claude said as the picture showed an Action Duel between Shadow vs Yuya.

Claude: It's Shadow Todoroki! The one who beat Sylvio and who use the Synchro method!

Claude said as Delia adjusted her glasses

Delia: Furthermore, he's Dueling with Yuya Sakaki. Excellent with this, we can collect data on her Pendulum summoning.

Delia said before she took notice of Shadow's ice barrier Dragon

Delia: But not even my strongest Synchro monster can produce such energy and he's clearly from Standard Dimension, is it about his card or...

Delia thought before taking note of the Barian necklace that Shadow had around his neck

Claude said as he went to do as told. Back at the You Show School and the Duel between Yuya and Shadow as the You Show students watched Shadow's synchro monster in awe

Zuzu said in awe as Sora looks at it with envy. All of those who didn't watch Shadow's first Duel against Sylvio were in awe of the dragon girl with clear wings

Trina: Shadow's monster is cool

Trina said as the others nodded in agreement

Allie: She's so cute

Allie said causing Brionac to twirl around

Dina: A show off too

Dina said with a big smile

Gong: So that his synchro monster

Gong said as Sora narrowed her eyes staring at the Synchro monster.

Shadow said as Brionac glowed an icy blue before rushing towards the hippo. Yuya found an Action Card and play it.

Yuya said she and her Hippo dodges Brionac attack. Causing the sea serpent to pout as she went back to Shadow side as he puts a hand on her head

Brionac said pouting as Shadow chuckles

Shadow: Then I set two cards facedown and end my turn.

Shadow said as two facedown cards materialize in front of him. Yuya then stands up

Yuya: Alright, then It's my turn, Draw!

Yuya said as she drew her card.

Yuya said as her Hippo disappeared into dust and in it's place was a huge red dragon with orbs on it and red/green eyes who lets out a roar

Shadow: And due to his effect I can add an ice barrier trap or spell from my deck to my hand

Shadow said as a card pops out as Shadow puts it into his hand before grabbing another card

Shadow: I now summon my tuner monster Reese the Ice Mistress

Shadow said as the woman with a gun appears again as Zuzu realizes something

Zuzu: He has another tuner monster on his field. So that means

Shadow said as women that looks a little like Brionac appears except to have a darker blue and with hints of red on her, her wings on her back, and a darker orange in her eyes

Landing in front of her user, Gungir let's out a deeper and more primal roar, which honestly was basically a louder GAO. Brionac then hugs the higher level synchro dragon

Dina said as the others nod

Trina: His new monster has the same strength as Yuya's Odd-Eyes

Trina said as Shadow smirks

Yuya asked in disbelief as Gungnir wing glowed as Shadow sent a card to the grave

Shadow said as Gungnir sent a red blizzard from her wings that destroyed Yuya's Odd-Eyes shocking everyone

Yuya said panicking that her Ace monster is destroyed as Shadow smirks

Shadow: Now Gungnir attack Yuya directly with Frozen Flames

Shadow said as his synchro dragon launched blue flames at the girl who managed to get an action card

Yuya: I activate the Action Card: Big escape! So that I can negate your attack and end your Battle Phase

Yuya said as the blue flames extinguished before they reached her

Shadow: I set a card and end my turn. You're up. Hmm?

Shadow asked as noticed Yuya on her knees and sad seeing her ace destroyed. Seeing this caused Shadow to narrow his eyes

Shadow: Pathetic

Shadow said causing Yuya to look up but flinched under his glare.

And she wasn't the only one. Zuzu and Sora clung onto each other as did the kids to Gong only to find him shivering slightly due to the coldness the gaze was causing

Shadow: Are you actually upset that your dragon got destroyed? Is this the daughter Yusho that I heard so much about? I didn't realize how much of a baby you are.

Shadow said making Yuya and her friends mad. Yuya clenched her fist as Zuzu grabs her fan, however none were prepared for Shadow jumping down and walks towards Yuya

Shadow: You want to be this dueltainer that claims that her dueling was gonna entertain and put smiles on people faces. But I'm not entertain and I'm definitely not smiling are you?

Shadow asked surprising everyone as he stood in front of Yuya

Shadow: If your dragon means that much to you. Then you have several cards to bring it back right?

Shadow asked causing Yuya to nod as Shadow grins a bit

Shadow: Then it's not over. So what are you going to do Yuya? Sit there and cry over your monster like Sylvio does? Or are you gonna earn that title you gave yourself and make me smile

Shadow asked as Yuya cracks a tiny smile at that before standing up

Yuya: I'm gonna make you smile

Yuya declares as Shadow starts to walk back to where he was. Unaware that his extra deck was slightly glowing blue before it fade away as he turns and face her

Shadow: Then go it's your turn

Shadow said turning around to face her as Yuya nods as she grabs a card from her deck

Yuya: It's my turn. Draw!

Yuya said drawing her card before looking at it as a huge smile appeared on her face

Yuya: It's here! Ladies and Gentlemen! Behold the newest style of Dueling

Yuya said as Shadow looks

Shadow: She must have what she needs to do her pendulum summon

Shadow thought as the kids got excited

Dina: This is what we been waiting for!

Dina said hopping up and down like the bunny she looks like

Allie: Do it Yuya!

Allie shouts as Yuya grabs two cards

Yuya: With my Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician I set the Pendulum Scale!"

Yuya said as she placed her magicians in the respective Pendulum zones and watched both her Pendulum monster being surrounded by pillars of light as they rise and an enlarged version of Yuya's pendant appears between them once again.

Sora: There it is, Yuya's famous Pendulum Summon!

Sora said with a smile as the kids began chanting

The Kids: Pendulum! Pendulum!

The kids said causing Shadow to chuckle at their cuteness

Yuya: With this I can summon monsters between levels two and seven at the same time. Swing far, Pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action!

Yuya yelled throwing her hand to sky as a portal appeared in the middle of her magicians. And three different color beams shot out of it

Yuya: Slice and dice 'em, Performapal Sword Fish!

Yuya said as blue fish that had on shades and bow tie while looking like sword appeared on her field

Shadow: So you summon three monsters at once. Big deal. Maybe if actually summoned monsters that can actually stand against my monsters other then your Odd-Eyes then I'd be impressed

Shadow said causing Yuya to pout before a grin appeared on her face as she remembered something

Yuya: Let's change that shall we? I activate Sword Fish ability, when this card is summoned all monsters you control loses six hundred attack points

Yuya said with a smile as duplicates of her monster appeared before launching themselves at Shadow's monsters sticking into the ground that surrounds em causing Brionac's Atk to drop to 1600 and Gungnir's Atk drop to 1900

Shadow: Ok better

Shadow said as Yuya smiles

Yuya: Odd-Eyes attack Gungnir

Yuya said as her dragon goes to attack Shadow's monster who narrows her eyes

Yuya: At this moment Drummerilla effect activates, once per turn when a monster I control battles a monster its attack points increase by six hundred.

Yuya said as her Drummerilla began to pound its chest sending sound waves to Odd-Eyes. Causing Odd-eyes Atk go to 3100

Yuya: Now Odd-Eyes effect activates, If it battles an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster, any battle damage Odd-Eyes inflicts to you is doubled. Spiral Flame Strike

Yuya said as Odd-Eyes launched its beam from its mouth as Gungnir simply smirks as she was destroyed causing Shadow's LPs to drop to 1600

Yuya: Now Drummerilla take out his Brionac

Yuya said as her monster went to take out Brionac only for said serpent to extend her claws and slash it oncoming monster only for them both to be destroyed

Zuzu: Now Shadow is wide open

Zuzu said excitedly as Sora narrows her eyes

Sora: I don't think so

Sora causing Zuzu to look at her in confusion

Yuya: Now Sword Fish attack Shadow directly

Yuya said as her monster got ready for attack while Zuzu look back to the field in order to see what Sora was talking about when she saw a tiny smirk forming on Shadow's face as she realized what Sora was on about

Zuzu: Yuya stop it's a trap!

Zuzu shouted much to Yuya's surprise

Yuya: Wha?

Yuya asked in confusion as Shadow took his chance

Shadow: She's right. I activate the trap Torrential Reborn.

Shadow said as one of his facedown cards flipped up showing a monster in the middle of a downpour

Dina: What does that do?

Dina asked causing Shadow to smile

Shadow: So glad you ask. When a WATER monster(s) i control is destroyed. I can special summon those monster(s), then my opponent takes 500 damage for each monster Special Summoned this way. And since I'm bringing back two Yuya takes 1000 points of damage

Shadow said as both Brionac and Gungnir flew out from the waters and back to Shadow's field as Yuya's LP's drop to 2200. Yuya called off her attack

Yuya: I end my turn

Yuya said as Shadow grabs a card

Shadow: It's my turn. I Draw!

Shadow said before his smirk returned

Shadow: Yuya you have showed me your pendulum summon and your ace, so I will return the favor by summoning my own ace.

Shadow said much to everyone's shock

Yuya: Wait neither Brionac and Gungir are your ace monster?

Yuya asked with a surprised look

Sora: The look on his face seems to tell it all

Sora said as the kids seemed excited to see his ace

Shadow: First I'll active the continuous spell, Freezing Chains of the Ice Barrier

Yuya asked as she voiced the question everyone was thinking which Shadow to chuckle as he held up a card

Shadow said as his Revealer twirls her staff before striking the ground creating a portal

Shadow: So I'm bringing out Hexa Spirit of the Ice Barrier

Shadow said as a little tan lizard with blue scales on its back and the Ice Barrier symbol in the middle of its forehead appears

Suddenly Yuya monsters got weaker causing even more confusion among Yuya and friends

Shadow: That would be Hexa effect. You see as long as I have another Ice Barrier on the field with Hexa it causes your monsters to lose 500 Atk points, but don't worry about that Yuya cause Hexa won't be on the field for long neither will Revealer or Speaker. I now tune my lvl 1 Hexa with my lvl 4s Revealer and Speaker

Shadow said as Hexa turns into a frozen ring as the girls turned into frozen orbs and flew into said ring

Sora: He's going for a Lvl 9

Sora said before she and the others began shivering and tried to keep warm from the blizzard that suddenly whipped up due to the new monster that was being summon. Shadow, however, stood unfazed as his hair and clothes merely moved with the wind as his teal eye was glowing slightly

Shadow said as the blizzard turn into a tornado and started to form something. When it was there stood a woman who resembled her siblings. Orange eyes, long platinum hair , and an orange gem sitting in the middle of an ice crown on top of her head. On her back was two huge ice wings. Also coming from behind her were two other serpent like dragons with orange slits for eyes with orange gems just inches above em. She also had ice gauntlets with ice claws on em.

Upon summoning she and the heads on her let's a powerful roar that dwarfs her sisters. Everyone are in awe at seeing his dragon on the field.

The Employee yelled with a shock look before he screamed due to the monitors began to blow up because of the energy being detected much to Delia's shock.

Delia: SHUT DOWN THE DETECTION SYSTEM NOW!!.

Delia yelled with a worried look. The employees did so much to their relief. Delia on the other hand looking at the screen with a shock look.

Delia: He may be from this world, but that deck certainly isn't, not even my strongest synchro monster can release this much summoning energy. I need to get to the bottom of this

Back at the You Show School at the Duel between Yuya and Shadow. Then suddenly Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and all three of Shadow Ice Barrier Dragons began to roar at each other.

Zuzu: Why did Yuya's Dragon and Shadow's Dragons do that?

Zuzu asked in confusion. Shadow however narrowed his eyes. He heard them talking instead of roaring

Shadow: Odd-Eyes is asking for help while my Dragons is telling it I have a plan

Gong: Maybe they recognized each other as rivals.

Gong suggested as Shadow decided to get on with his turn

Shadow: When Trishula is synchro summon her effect activates

Shadow said causing Trishula to smirk before she vanishes causing everyone to turns their heads quick, fast, and in a hurry in hopes to see where the dragon girl disappeared to. Not even a minute later Trishula returned except this time she held Hip Hippo and Timegazer Magician by their necks. Yuya looks on with worry as she saw Hip Hippo panicking and struggling to get free while Timegazer tried to pulls her claws off its neck while one of Yuya's cards was incased in ice

Allie: What is she doing?

Allie ask with worry as Shadow laughs

Shadow: She's activating her effect. You see when she's successfully synchro summoned she can banish up to 3 cards. 1 from you field, 1 from your grave, and a random 1 from your hand. Go Terror of Trishula

Shadow said as Trishula twin serpent heads struck both monsters in her claws causing them to disintegrate and scatter. The card that was incased in ice disintegrate into a purple sphere much to Yuya's dismay

Yuya said in sadness as Sora narrows her eyes

Sora: That's one dangerous effect. I need to find a way to counter it

Zuzu: if Trishula effect allows Shadow to banish any card on the field why did he choose Timegazer and not one of Yuya's monsters on the field?

Zuzu asked caused her friends think as Sora had a hunch

Shadow: Now Trishula take out Odd-Eyes Aurora Assault

Shadow said as rainbow like energy begins resonating through her orange eyes and gems. She and the serpents open their mouths revealing an multicolored orb before using said orbs to launch three beams right at Odd-Eyes. Which causes Yuya to use said dragon to rush to get an action card

Yuya: I activate the action spell high dive, this card increases my monster attack points by one thousand.

Yuya said grabbing and activating the action spell causing Shadow to smirk as he press a button on his duel disk

Shadow: I grew tired of your action spells Yuya. That's why I'm activating the continuous trap Imperial Order. All long as this card remains on the field all spells have there effects negated

Shadow said as Yuya's action spell was destroyed. The beams combine into one destroying Odd-Eyes and sent Yuya flying and her LPs hit 2000. As Sora's eyes lit up

Sora: That's why to prevent it from activating its pendulum ability. And that was the very card that Shadow placed down on his first turn he had this whole thing planned. Yuya never had a chance at winning

Sora said surprising everyone

Shadow: Now Gungnir and Brionac end this with Scorching Slash

Shadow said as both attacked as Yuya's LPs hit zero. Shadow walks up to Yuya as his monsters disappear

Shadow: I did say that my deck was not for entertainment

Shadow said as he helps Yuya up as she looks at him with stars in her eyes

Yuya exclaimed jumping up in the air a bit as the rest showed up

Shadow: Well if that's the case where am I sleeping and where's the shower?

Shadow asked as Yuko brought a hand to her chin in thought

Yuko: The shower is upstairs. As for where you shall be sleeping I would be suggesting the guest room but Sora took that

Yuya: You can sleep in my room with me

Yuya: I don't want you to get injured by sleeping on the cold floor. You mind sleeping next to me?
