Claws hit the barren wasteland as a beast, maybe even categorized as a monster, ran through the landscape with great speed. The only time it stopped up was when it needed to sniff the air around it, in order to pick up the scent it was following. After all this animal was on a mission. On a hunt so to speak and it was not letting its prey escape it. With a loud growl it picked up the track it was following and once again craws hit the barren wasteland. It was on a hunt and it had no intention in letting its soon to be pray escape.

"I believe we will stay here for the night" Yuto proclaimed firmly and pointed at the building in front of them. Gili and the others were staring at him in disbelief.

"A hut?" Gili then questioned and were surely saying what everyone was thinking. Besides the hut, was actually a forest, who was alive. One of the few locations where the location wasn't a barren wasteland.

"Actually, it is a cabin and I know what you are all thinking, but this cabin is spacy enough for all of us. Trust me" Yuto stated as he was about to open the front door.

"Oh, why is that?" Sorano questioned suspiciously "Is it magical?".

"Hmm properly. Father made his magicians build it for us. I believe the whole area is magical actually" Yuto replied rather proud "Welcome to the royal family's cabin you guys. My siblings and father have had great times here to...".

That was all he managed to say before he got sent flying by a red draconic monster, who amazingly had managed to rush through the narrow doorway and were now assaulting Yuto. Gili now believed this place were indeed magical. How else could this beast manage to get through the door like that?

"Yuto!" Shay shouted surprised and drew his sword, believing Yuto was under attack.

Who could really blame him? Gili didn't. She had already hidden behind Sorano for safety. However, then the tense air disappeared when Yuto was outright laughing and a strange sight met them all. The red dragon was nuzzling him, hugging him and even licking him once very affectionate. All while Yuto were grinning.

"Yuya! Yuya. I know it has been a while but please contain yourself" Yuto then finally managed to say as he pushed the dragon's head away from him "We are not alone. You are embarrassing me in front of my entourage of friends...".

Gili could see how the dragon tilted its head towards them. It was like it first now had noticed that they were here. The dragon let go of Yuto of course before shifting into its human form. Gili was surprised over how used to that she had gotten. People changing from demons to humans had almost become a normality to her.

"Oh, you are all Yuto's friends?!" a boy now with tomato colored hair greeted very excitedly as he first greeted everyone with a very shaken handshake. Besides Sorano who got a fist bump greeting. Then the boy bowed respectfully. Like he was a showman and said "Oh, where is my manners. Yuya Haouryu, youngest prince, at your service. So sorry for my display before. Just haven't seen my brother Yuto in a very long time. That and demon dragons gets very affectionate with their kin...".

"Yeah sure. Just make them believe that brother" Yuto said and rolled his eyes "You are the only one of us who is affectionate here...".

"What are you doing here Yuya?" Sorano questioned as he interrupted Yuto "I thought you were in the royal city. Not at the outskirt of the land".

"Well, he-he Yugo and Yuri says I drive them crazy, so here I am. Having my vacation in the woods" Yuya replied cheerfully and added when he saw Yuto's worried expression "Don't worry I brought my gazers with me".

"Yeah that's not it" Yuto mused out slowly "Does father know you are here?".

"Nope! But who cares? He has been absent for so long that he surely won't notice I am gone" Yuya replied as he grabbed his hand "But enough about me. Tell me about yourself and your friends Yuto. Wait, let's do it while drinking delicious food and drinks. My treat". Then he pulled Yuto inside, leaving everyone else in his dust.

Time skip.

"What? Declan Akaba is kidnapped? Who could pull that off? He is one of the strongest I know" Yuya uttered as they were sitting in the spacy living room in front of a giant fireplace and drinking hot chocolate.

Yuto didn't question Yuya in where he had gotten that from, because there was only one clan having that kind of luxury besides their own, who did buy from them. Sora and the gluttony clan.

"His father apparently. He forced him by using his true name" Yuto replied him and sighed "Do you think father has that kind of power over us? It is said that when you get your true name at birth, your parents hear it as well...".

"No! Never! Father would never do that to us. That I am sure of" Yuya defended.

"How can you be so sure of that Yuya?" Yuto questioned slowly. He was amazed over his brother's faith in their father.

"If he had or could, he just wouldn't" Yuya mused slowly and this time sighed deeply "If father had that kind of power over us, he would force Yuri to stop his rebellion against him. Instead he encourages him. Father is strange".

Yuto hummed at that. That might well be true. Unlike the pride clan, their father Zarc did seem to care about them, which is weird, considered demons are all about power. Maybe their mother Ray did show him how to love and feel compassion. It would make sense considering how their father decorated this place like the human world.

"Wait...what?!" Yuto suddenly uttered as he realized what Yuya had just said "You know about the rebellion And Father knows about it? How?".

"That's easy. I eavesdropped on some of Yuri's conversations when he wasn't looking. He is not as sneaky as he believes he is" Yuya mused out slowly "Either that or he wants me to know. I of course went to father in hopes of stopping it, but it backfired. Never seen father that sad to be honest. He made me promise to keep it between us. As in us in the royal family. Nobody else".

Yuto could see the sadness in the eyes of his brother now. It didn't suit Yuya who usually was cheerful as hell. However, at the same time Yuto understood everything. His father's actions. His brother's actions in killing him, and why Yuri was doing all this. It made a bile feeling rise all the way through him, because if this issue wasn't resolved Yuto would lose a family member either way.

"I... am sorry to hear that Yuya. Father has just a lot on his plate at the moment...".

"Yeah I guess so. I just wish he would confine with me once in a while" Yuya mused "I know I am the youngest prince and all that. Father does not confine with me the same way he does you or Yuri".

Yuya replied with a sigh. Yuto shrugged casually. To be honest their father didn't confine in any of them. Not him nor Yuri. Sure, he loved them and would give them the world if they asked, but besides that he didn't trust anyone else. Okay maybe he did Astrograph and Chronograph sorcerer, but that said they were beings, servants, he had created out of his own powers.

"My dearest children. I love you so very much.

Do not blame your brother for my demise. He didn't know better.

All I ask for is that you will take care of each other and your father.

We loved each other so very much and I am not sure how my soon to be death will affect him. He was always a tough guy demon and would surely try to bury his emotions. Please just don't make him shut his heart...".

"We need to thaw up father's heart" Yuto then mused out. More to himself that anyone else really, but of course his brother heard him.

"Father's heart? What do you mean Yuto? Did it get hit by ice?" his brother asked.

"Not physically no. It is just, I recently discovered the truth between our father and the holy mother of the order. They are our parents" Yuto then explained.

"They are what?" Yuya uttered stunned and accidentally dropped the cup with chocolate onto the floor.

Instantly, his loyal gazers were by his side, and by their magic, the drink were soon in his hands anyway. All to make him happy. No one wanted an enraged Odd eyed dragon after all. Yuto bit his lip a little. He might have spoken over him. Sure, Yuya was the youngest and lowest ranked person in their royal hierarchy but enraged made him rival Yuri's power as crown prince.

"The reason I left was to find out the truth about our mother" Yuto admitted "I entered the holy order undercover. I met friends there, but also the answers I sought in her diary. Our mother is indeed Ray, the holy mother of the order. Our father and Ray were lovers. That is why we are half demon and half human, while also have the strange powers that we do". Yuya was stating bewildered at him.

"Oh wow, just wow. Our mother is Ray" he then ended up saying and drank a bit of his drink to call him nerves "Father was always so sad, whenever I asked about her. He never remarried, even though a lot of demons alike threw themselves at him. He must really have loved her. Even though she was human...".

"Wait, he did what?" Yuya uttered rather shocked "If he did that, why, why did our mother die? She shouldn't be able to...".

"Eternal youth Yuya. Not immortality. She could still be killed" Yuto interrupted.

"What? Where is the son of a bitch who is responsible for my mom's death! I will kill that bastard!" Yuya hissed in an angry tone.

"It was Yuri, Yuya. Yuri accidentally killed her!" Yuto then uttered rather quickly before his brother went and did something stupid. Like wanting to leave and run away from here "But before you blame him, know this. He was just a newborn demon who were trying to see how far he could go. It has always been like this in our realm. Only the strongest survive and mother was weak because of child's birth...".

"Our power struggle as kids" Yuya whispered and rubbed his neck "I barely remember, besides the bite marks you all gave me. I... I can't believe it!".

"Yes, I didn't either, when I read it, but is true" Yuto said and rubbed his neck as well "Hadn't Yuri bit me that day, I might have been the one doing the deed instead. I know father put us all in line afterwards, but the deed was done, but it was too late for our mother. I believe that is the reason father treats Yuri differently".

"But that is not true. Father loves Yuri very much!" Yuya uttered suddenly "Sure, they never meet eye to eye, but he does love him as much as he does us".

"Yuya" Yuto said and sighed "Father barely acknowledge him...".

"But he does. Why else would Yuri be alive today if he wasn't? He has enough children to raise and be his heirs. If he didn't love him, he would have killed him. That is how demons' rolls" Yuya pointed out stubbornly "The day I messed up with the souls, and we both went back to earth to collect them, father reprimanded me to be more like Yuri and that he was proud of him. He even asked which of the souls were fitting Yuri the most, since he wanted to give him a gift for his hard work. If he didn't care about him, why give him Dennis in the first place?".

"But then I don't understand. If he loves him, why are Yuri being treated different than the rest of us?" Yuto questioned confused "Why not look him in the eye?".

"Guilt prince Yuto. Guilt" a voice then said and then both suddenly found Gili Sakaki in front of them. She was glowing in a strange, weird light now "The king of demons never forgave himself after Ray died. He blames himself that he was not able to protect her. He should be. That was why he never made her immortal. For that reason, he is not able to lock eyes with your brother or see what is right in front of him. The guilt is tearing him up ".

"Miss Gili Sakaki. I am honored by your presence, but you shouldn't use your powers on us..." Yuto began but then his eyes widened "Wait, you shouldn't be able to access your powers without Declan here. How are...?".

"Harmonics indeed need a demonic counterpart to trigger it, but it is never stated that it was limited to one demonic partner" Gili responded "As long as there is trust and love between demon and wielder, the power will blossom. Especially, if the other demon possesses a piece of the harmonic's themselves".

"Piece of the harmonics themselves?" Yuto questioned puzzled "Are you saying...?".

"Yuya. You, the odd eyed dragon boy, born from Zarc and Ray and are holding a piece of their combined powers, harmonics within you. We are here to give you a warning. Listen and heed my words or your actions might doom us all" Gili replied and pointed at the boy making Yuya stare in bewilderment at her "Be aware of your actions towards other beings! Find yourself a mate to bond with. Find someone you trust with all your heart and let them keep your powers in check. You already doomed one soul and as you grow older it will only get worse. Keep yourself in check until then".

That was all Gili rode, before she collapsed to the floor. Sorano was quick to catch her before hitting the floor completely. He was sending Yuto an annoyed look before he left the room towards one of the bedrooms in there.

"Warning? Harmonics? I don't understand a thing!" Yuya then uttered confused.

"You hold the holy power of our mother?!" Yuto uttered as well "Or a piece. Is that why you always been able to be on good terms with everyone?".

"How should I know? I don't even know what this Harmonics is?!" Yuya uttered rather annoyed "Will someone please tell me?!".

"Yuya, harmonics is the power to harmonize with everyone and everything. It kills war and create peace. But it needs a demon counterpart, or your power will slowly go out of control and influence everyone and everything without you knowing it. Maybe because you are a demon yourself, you could hold it in check yourself for this long? I don't know. But lady Gili says so and..." Yuto took a deep breath and were locking eyes with his brother "Have you influenced anyone recently Yuya? She spoke of dooming a soul. Has anyone been obsessed or were overly friendly with you lately? You might have influenced them without knowing".

"I am not sure. I...Shit! He might" Yuya then mused out slowly and bit his lip "I had this battle against him, and I won, but ever since then he won't leave me in peace. I had to have Gong on the lookout lately and forced me to retrieve inside the palace for safety, because he constantly wants to battle me".

"And who is this individual Yuya? It is very important!" Yuto said and he grabbed around his brothers' shoulder "He could be out to harm you. Mother even spoke of fanatic people father had to kill because they wouldn't stop following her".

"It's... It's..." Yuya was never able to finish his sentence because a crashing sound could be heard, and someone crashed through the roof and created a giant hole.

"I finally found you Yuya!" a male voice then shouted fiercely and when the dust cleared, he was standing there, ready to fight him rather fiercely. "This time you will not escape me! I want My rematch".

Yuto's eyes widened. It was Iggy Arlo. The heir to the envy clan.
