Prompt (OFFICIAL): Shy

Raylee stayed away from her class as much as possible. It had been months ever since she entered the new class, but she didn't know how to approach them. Some girls came up to her, but she had found it hard to open up to them. She figured the boys would be even less approachable due to their rowdiness.

During every lunch break, she would find an empty table to sit, with her phone being her only companion.

Not until she noticed what the boys did every lunch break.

On that day, Raylee decided to walk past the tables where her class boys would sit together. Why? She always saw them glued to their phones, shouting to each other. "Dude! Why'd you place the wizard there?"

Curiosity had gotten the better of her. She pretended just to be walking past. She peered over their shoulders, discreetly tip-toeing. Her eyes widened, and she could not stop herself. "WOAH! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS ALL THESE WHILE???"

The boys stared at her, with their mouths hanging. Raylee, the silent student who barely talked, had shouted at the top of her voice. Realising her sudden outburst, she composed herself and this time; she politely asked, "May I join you guys?"

"You... play this game?" Raze asked.

Raylee nodded.

"You seem like the least likely person to play this game." Zachary burst into laughter.

Raylee tried not to let her irritation show. "Well, if you guys don't want--"

Zachary stopped his laughter and shook his head. "No no! You're free and welcome to join!"

Raylee sat down on an empty seat and asked, "So what's the clan name?"

As soon as she joined the clan and started playing with them, the boys once again froze. They all turned their gaze to her.

"What?"

Only when I had woke up today, I had realised I did not finish my entry yesterday. I'm not going to write an entry for that to remind myself to write every day if I ever write for Inktober again. 

So, now onto today's dedication. This post is dedicated to emptybottlesofjin!! Although I wouldn't say that I am very close to you, I would say that at least we're closer than some other admins.
