Aoi P.O.V

I was walking with Rio when we heard a commotion going on in Yuma's class, so we decided to check it out

"What's going on guys? Sounds like you're having an interesting discussion" Rio asked

"Rio! Hey I know! Why don't we make Rio our cheerleader?" Bronk said which made me tilt my head

"Cheerleader? What are you guys talking about?" I asked then Ray grabbed my shoulders

"We should ask Aoi to be our cheerleader! She's a girl, knows how to duel and she has a Number!" Ray said which made me even more confused

"No way! We need a real duelist, not Shark's guppy little sister!" Cathy said

"It's true that Aoi knows how to duel and has a Number but she's still a shy crybaby!" Tori said about which really hurt me and I ran off crying while I heard Yuma calling out to me 'How could Tori say that about me? I know I'm shy but I'm still trying!' I ran home in tears

Yuma P.O.V

When Tori said that about Aoi, she ran off crying and I called out to her but she was already gone

"Tori! Why did you say that to Aoi?! You know she's trying her best to duel!" I shouted

"I d-didn't mean to say that about her..." Tori said

"So, next time you see her, you apologize to her, cause right now Astral is looking at you with a lot anger in his eyes and I'm literally scared right now" I said while shaking uncontrollably and they know how serious it is

'Please be in school tomorrow Aoi!' I thought to myself

The next day~ Aoi P.O.V

I didn't go to school, I told the teachers that I wasn't feeling well 'I know I shouldn't lie to my teachers but... I'm upset what Tori said to me yesterday...' I sighed I got up from my bed and decided to go out for a bit.

After changing, I left my home and decided to walk around for bit maybe go shopping for a bit 'I need to buy some more food, drinks and maybe some snacks...' I was thinking to myself while heading to the mall, but I didn't notice that I was being watched from afar by a mysterious figure

Finally... Finally... I found her... Now my mission to protect the princess will begin... I'll do whatever I can to bring her back home to Astral world... To her family...

Aoi P.O.V

After buying some food, drinks and snacks, I started to head home and I saw a river 'The river looks beautiful... especially the sunset...' I was awe struck and without thinking I started to sing

After singing, I didn't realize I attracted a crowd when I heard multiple clapping behind me, I turned around and saw a lot of different people and I blushed in embarrassment, so I slowly walked away 'I didn't know I attracted people again, I need to stop doing that' I thought to myself when I got call on my duel gazer

"Who's calling me?" I took out my duel gazer and it was Yuma who was calling "Hi Yuma, is there something you need?" I asked

"Hey Aoi, are you free tomorrow?" Yuma asked 'Is something going on tomorrow?' I thought "I'm free. What's going on tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow we're holding the first ever Friendship Games to help everyone to get along again. Will you be there? Ray said you can be a commentator with him if you want" Yuma told me

"Okay, I'll do that. I'll see you guys tomorrow then." I said and I ended the call 'I hope the Friendship Games really works and everyone will stop fighting' I thought to myself and headed home

The next day~

I woke up the next morning, I got up and got ready for the games, I was looking through my closet to find something to wear and I found a another cute outfit

I started to head to school where the games are gonna take place 'I hope this plan will work... I don't want everyone to fight each other over something...' I thought to myself as I got to the school, I heard some fireworks and saw everyone under a banner

"I officially welcome all of you to the first ever Friendship Games!" The tall with a mohawk said

"Remember to do your best and good luck!" Yuma said

"It's gonna be fun" Ray said but for everyone else they don't look very excited

"Maybe for him but not for me" Bronk said

"Whatever." Flip said

"I only wish I had some competition" Rio said and I noticed Cathy glaring at her with her sharp nails and I noticed Shark sitting on the steps

"When will this be over?" Shark said 'I guess he's not interested... Wait, why is he here? I don't remember him being part of the quarrel from 2 days ago' I thought

"Look, let's just try. If we all get into this, we'll all come away happy!" Yuma said with a excited tone

"Okay, now here are the rules. You're gonna play in teams, if you win then your team gets a point. The two teams with the most points advance to the finals. All right, here are the teams: Yuma and Shark "Too cool and the Fool", Caswell and Flip "Nerd Herd", Bronk and Rio "Beauty and the Bronk", Cat and Tori "Grrr-l Power" " The mohawk guy said

"These teams are awful!" Tori yelled

"I'm not playing with her!" Cathy yelled too

"I love my teammate" Bronk said with a happy smile on his face

"And as a special bonus, the winner of the Friendship Games will be named the Super Secret Number Hunter's Investigation Club's cheerleader!" Ray said

"Awesome!" Cathy said

"Along with Aoi of course" Ray said again and my body stiffen

"Eh?! Ray! I didn't sign up to be a cheerleader!" I shouted

"Huh? But I thought Yuma told you about this yesterday" Ray said and I looked at Yuma who was looking away while whistling

"Yuma...!" I said with an upset tone and an angry aura surrounding me

Yuma felt scared, her friend's felt scared including Shark because they never knew she could be this angry. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder

"Aoi, please calm down. I know you're upset at Yuma for not telling you the full story but please don't try anything that'll risk Yuma going to the hospital" Astral said to me as I try to calm down, I took a few deep breaths and finally calmed down

"Are you feeling better?" Astral asked

"Yes I am. Thank you" I said to Astral

"Ahem. Okay everyone, let's get started." The mohawk male said as he put his hand in the box

"I'll pick a card at random. And the first event is skydiving!" He said as our surroundings changed and for some reason I was in a plane with Ray who was wearing a biege jumpsuit and I was wearing a light blue jumpsuit and a parachute pack on my back.

No one's P.O.V

Both Caswell and Flip were screaming while falling due to not having a duel monster that can fly "And now, the first duel will take place in the sky! Do you have anything to say to the participants Aoi?" Ray asked Aoi

"Always make sure to have at least some monsters that can fly in the sky or at least have a parachute with you just in case" Aoi said while she was carried by her monster Angel of Roses

Shark was on top of his monster Aero Shark "Go Aero Shark" Shark said in a bored tone and won "Hey, look Shark we beat'em!" Yuma said while holding on to his monster Zubaba Knight

"The first duel is a quick victory for Yuma and Shark!" Ray said as he pulled the string from the parachute and onto the next round

Field: Beach volleyball

The mohawk guy blew the whistle to start the match between Yuma and Shark vs Rio and Bronk "Now it's the beach volleyball duel!" Ray said

"Any words to say Aoi?" Ray asked Aoi again "Make sure to wear sun block so you won't get sunburned and please remember to be safe and have fun at the beach!" Aoi said which made Ray smile and he hugged her

"Wise words Aoi!" Ray said

"Just stick to our game plan." Rio said to Bronk

"Right!" then the volleyball duel began as the volleyball appeared. It was going for a few minutes as Bronk was to hit the ball to the other side, Shark countered it

"Hey Bronk... In your face!" Shark as he hit the ball along with Black Ray Lancer, the ball hit Bronk in the face and his monster was destroyed

"And that is a facial 'disgracial' " Ray said

Field: Tennis court

The tennis duel between Tori and Cathy vs Caswell and Flip began, everything looked well until "I got this!" Cathy said but ended up bumping into Tori and they argued again even their monsters don't like this

"See, they're finally speaking to each other again" Ray said

"I don't think so Ray" Aoi said as she sweat dropped

"Sounds like yelling" The mohawk guy said

"Right now the team of Shark and Yuma is in the lead!" Ray said as he showed the points

Yuma and Shark: 4

Bronk and Rio: 3

Caswell and Flip: 3

Tori and Cat: 0

Timeskip~ Breaktime Aoi P.O.V

Everyone (except Shark and Rio) were exhausted "I'm kinda beat, but... I gotta admit, this is fun" Bronk said to Caswell and Flip

"Yeah. Playing together makes you forget why we were mad at each other" Caswell said and I heard both Tori and Cat sighing, they looked at each other and smiled

"Cathy, I apologize about being so catty" Tori apologized

"I was jealous of you too" Cat said to Tori and I couldn't help but smile.

I started to walk towards them along with Rio "Oh, by the way, you guys make a great team. I hope you make it to the finals, so we can play you" Rio said and I noticed Tori looking at me

"Aoi, I'm sorry for what I said 2 days ago. I guess I was caught up in the moment that the words came out" Tori apologized to me and I hugged Tori

"It's okay, I forgive you." I said and Cat joined into our hug including Rio

"Hey Yuma, your friend's strategy's working perfectly." I heard Ray say to Yuma

"Yeah! This just makes me so happy!" Yuma said while crying happily until Yuma yelled at Astral about something and I noticed the mohawk guy smirking which made me a bit confused

"Okay, listen up. These are the teams that are advancing to the finals." He said and I know I didn't duel today but I'm exciting for the results "First is Team Yuma and Shark!" Which made Yuma very happy "And goin' against'em in the finals will be Cathy and Tori!" I was surprised and I wasn't the only one surprised

"Hey, they don't have as many points as Rio and me, so how come they get to play?" Bronk asked in a disappointed tone

"Did I forget to mention all-girl teams get a 50 point bonus?" The mohawk guy said and the guys fell to the ground while Rio had a disappointed look

"Aw! I wish I knew then I would've asked if Aoi can be my teammate!" Rio said while clinging to me. He asked Tori and Cathy to come with him so he can give them a special prize which I find suspicious including Astral and I think Ray thought the same too.

Some time later~

"It's time for the final event in our Friendship Games! And now... Let's play ball!" He said as the field changed into a baseball stadium

"Allow me to introduce the players! First the all-girl team: Tori and Cathy!" Ray announced and Tori and Cathy looked odd 'They're not waving or looking excited for this. Something isn't right' I thought to myself

"Opposing them is our school's top duelist duo: Shark and Yuma!" Ray announced again but noticed Shark isn't there 'I guess he left' Yuma looks excited but the mohawk was telling Yuma something and after talking to Yuma, he was about to talk to Shark but noticed he's not there

"Where's Shark?!" The mohawk guy yelled

"I'm sorry. But my brother has left the building." Rio said

"He was bored. He didn't care who won or lost" Caswell said and the guy looked dumb-struck like something had failed

"This is bad" The guy muttered

"I hate a quitter. Well, you'll just have to be my teammate." Yuma said

"Huh?! Who me? No, no wait, I can't be..." He didn't finish as his baseball uniform appeared on him

"Hey! Get this off of me!" The guy said while was looking excited as he set up his duel disk

The duel ended as Yuma and the mohawk guy who I learned is named Girag won the duel

"Thank goodness..." I breathed easy now due to how worried I was

"All right! Yuma did it!" Ray shouted and Girag falling to his knees as he started crying, while Yuma went to check on Tori and Cathy

"Hey, are you both okay?" Yuma asked "I think so" Cathy answered

"What happened? Did we duel?" Tori asked "I don't know" Cathy answered who was also confused.

We ran towards them to see if they're okay "Let's have the final duel now!" Tori demanded

"Pretty kitty please?" Cathy asked and Yuma ran away while the girls were chasing him and I couldn't help but giggle

"Well I guess I better start heading home now. I'll see you guys tomorrow" I said and waved everyone goodbye.

As I was walking home, I had a feeling someone is watching me, I turned around and saw no one "I guess it's my imagination" I continued my walk home but I didn't notice a mysterious figure standing on top of the building looking down at me

Girag P.O.V

I was standing the roof of the school, looking down at Yuma "You saved me today, but tomorrow's another day Yuma and I'll get you yet" Then I went back to the storage room where I saw Alito looking at me like he wants something

"What do you want?" I asked

"So... Did you get them?" Alito asked and I was confused then I remembered

"Oh yeah. Here." I took out some pictures of Aoi during the Friendship Games while she was wearing those costumes

"Ah! My sweet goddess!" Alito yelled as he put them in his scrapbook of Aoi. This guy really needs to go out more or at least talk to her a normal person

"You do know you can talk to her right?" I said as I sweat dropped

"I know but... I have no idea what to say!" Alito shouted.

Oh boy... I'm gonna go eat some pork cutlet
