Dumon P.O.V Barian world

I watching the events that happened so far with Girag and I'm very dissatisfied with the results "When I sent Girag to the human world, I made his mission clear, he was to defeat Yuma Tsukumo and get his Numbers. But clearly he is not strong enough for the task!" It's time to send someone else to the human world

"Alito, where are you?" Alito appeared while sitting on a floating crystal 

"Yes Dumon. What is it?" 

"Alito, you must travel to the human's world immediately! We need you to retrieve the Numbers located there!" Alito didn't seem interested 

"But why do I have to be the one?" Alito jumped off the crystal "Send someone else on this mission. I have no desire to assume human form with all their limits. Plus, my dueling skills would be completely squandered on their world"

My eyes glowed showing how serious I am "I have chosen you Alito" I said in a serious tone and Alito sighed 

"Fine. I will go then Dumon. Since you are so insistent" 

"Remember Barian world is depending on you!" I reminded him as the portal opened from behind him 

"I promise, I won't fail" Alito disappeared into the portal heading to the human world

"For all our sakes, I hope your right" I said and then I heard another portal opening from behind me and Mizar appeared 

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Yuma Tsukumo must be defeated, our world desperately needs those Numbers. Why send Alito? He only cares about himself and he's far too impulsive" Mizar said

"Mizar, I know what I'm doing. We need an expert duelist for this and Alito is certainly one of the best. His competitive nature will be a great advantage." One of the crystals showed an image of Yuma "Do not fear, Yuma Tsukumo's Numbers will soon be ours!" I said and sighed

Then I felt a hand on my shoulder "Dumon, you seem more stressed than usual. Is it because we haven't heard that girl sing for a while?" I sighed again 

"I guess so, I don't know why but whenever she sings... I feel all of my sadness and stress disappear like magic..." Mizar was about to say something when we heard singing...

'It's her!' It's been so long since I heard her sing, I closed my eyes to enjoy her melody 'I miss her singing... I wonder if it's the girl that appeared' The singing stops and I opened my eyes 

"Her voice is lovely as usual..." I said 

"I agree Dumon" Mizar said 

'I want to see her again' I thought to myself and once again, the singing voice of that girl healed me again, all the sadness and stress were washed away thanks to the song.

Alito P.O.V

I appeared behind Girag and it seems he likes that idol girl's song "What a voice, what sweet music. She's so good!" Girag said with excitement in his tone 

"Hey" I said and Girag froze 

"Girag, I didn't know you were  a music fan" He looked at me angerly for some reason 

"Who are you!" Girag yelled at me 

"What? You don't recognize me?" I looked at my hands and realized, I'm not in my Barian form! I found a mirror and saw my reflection 

"I forgot we never met in this form before" I said and Girag is ready to fight 

"You asked for it kid and you're gonna get it!" Girag launched his punch at me but of course I countered it and my fist was close to his face 

"No human could match my moves that way... Alito! It's you!" I smirked 

"It's been a long time"

I sat on top of the TV and Girag gave me food on a stick called shish-kabobs 

"It seems you haven't changed a bit. Even though you look very different but you're still a slacker!" I yelled while Girag finished chewing his food 

"I'm just takin' a break" Girag said and I got a bit upset 

"Well you've been taking it too easy, which is why I was sent here to get the mission back on track"

Girag got angry and yelled "You won't be any more successful than me!" 

"Of course I will! Because I'll keep all of my focus on dueling! I'm not gonna get distracted like you! While you keep failing, I'll get it done!" Girag grumbled while I left the room that Girag is staying and headed to the school where Yuma Tsukumo attends

I was walking down the hallway filled with students "This mission is a total waste of time" I took a bite of the kabob "I'm supposed to be collecting Numbers but I can only use pathetic humans to get them. I guess I won't be doing any dueling here. Oh well." I finished my kabob and dropped the stick to the floor, when suddenly someone bumped into me "Hey watch out!" I shouted at the person 

"Oh no! I'm so sorry!"

I couldn't believe my eyes... a beautiful girl with blue hair and yellow eyes appeared, she walked close to me 

"Um... Are you okay? I hope I didn't hurt you" The blue haired girl said while she gently grabbed my hand to help me stand up and I gazed upon her beautiful yellow eyes along with a gentle smile. I thought she was an angel or goddess 

"I must be dreaming" I said out loud and the blue haired girl looked at me with a confused look, when I got up I ran away because I have a mission of my own and it's called 'Operation win her Heart!'

Aoi P.O.V

That boy with tanned skin and brown hair ran off after I helped him 'He's weird' I thought while I left my classroom and went to the music room because I haven't been there for awhile due to all the Barian attacks lately. When I got to the music room, I saw a piano and decided to play it, the moment I started playing something inside me urged me to sing as well.

After I finished playing and singing, I heard clapping and when I turned around, I saw Yuma and everyone 

"Aoi, you played and sang beautifully!" Tori said and I blushed from embarrassment because I didn't know they were there! 

"Don't be embarrassed, you sounded amazing" Shark said 'I want to go home!' I thought to myself and I didn't notice how Astral is smiling at me after I sang and Astral hugged me from behind

"Aoi my sweet little sister, you sang beautifully, just as I remembered..." Astral said and I blushed even more

Next day~

I was walking to school when a giant bouquet of roses appeared 

"Huh?"  The same boy from I bumped into yesterday was the one who was holding the roses "Oh! You're the one I bumped into, I hope you're okay" I said in a worried tone 

"Don't worry, I'm okay and I want to apologize. Please forgive me" The boy said and I blushed 

"N-no, it's okay. I should've watched on where I was going." I didn't notice his smirk and I heard someone calling out 

"Aoi duck!" I heard Bronk yelling and I ducked down along with the mystery boy 

"Who's that?" He said and I heard Yuma 

"Don't be so sure Bronk!" Yuma jumped over the stairs but crashed into the mystery guy 

"You need to be more careful!" I said and Yuma laughed 

"See ya later Aoi!" I sighed and saw Ray running behind him, I also noticed Astral looking at the boy while he floating towards Yuma 

"Geez, he needs to be more careful." I tried lifting the guy up but to prove no avail 'I need to head to class, I better put him by the tree' I dragged the unconscious boy to the tree and headed to class

Pool~

My class had pool time after the first years, I was waiting for Shark and Rio when I heard someone calling me 

"Hey Aoi! How's it going?" I looked up and saw the boy again but he was close to the edge of the diving board 

"What are you doing?! Please careful!" I shouted and he slipped off the diving board which made me close my eyes, when I heard the splash I opened my eyes and walked towards the pool to see if he's okay. Then he resurfaced from the water 

"A-are you okay? You should be more careful" I said in a timid tone 

"Well it's your fault, I was dazzled by your eyes that it completely threw off my balance" He said and I blushed then a teacher appeared

"Sorry but this is the 2nd years turn to use the pool" The teacher dragged him away

Duel Period~

I was holding my duel disk and headed outside to meet up with Yuma, Ray and Tori. Yesterday Ray asked me if he can duel me and I told him we can duel the next day which made Ray really happy 'Where are they? Are they taking the Ray way?' I thought but I snapped out of it when I heard a voice behind me 

"Excuse me Aoi?" I turned around and saw the same boy again 

"I believe you dropped this" Holding in his hand was a pure white feather and I gave him a confused look 

"I'm sorry, but that feather doesn't belong to me" I said 

"That's strange. I was sure it had fallen from one of your wings since you're such an angel" He said and I blushed even more that I thought steam was coming out from my head

Then I heard Yuma sneeze and I heard Tori yelling at him 

"Cover your mouth!" Tori said

"Sorry!" Yuma apologized and he grabbed my wrist and started running along with Ray 

"C'mon Aoi! You promised Ray a duel!" Yuma said as we started to run

"Get back here, you here me!" I heard Tori yell again

Alito P.O.V

I drinking the glass of juice feeling upset "Your strategy didn't work?" Girag asked 

"Almost! If that kid didn't show and ruin it, she would've fallen for me by now!" I said angerly 

"Sounds like you have a rival. In that case, there's only one thing you can do." Girag said and I looked at him with a curious look 

"What should I do?" I asked

"You've gotta prove to her that you're better than this other guy. Challenge him to no-holds-barred one-on-one duel. Show her that you're a winner and she'll fall for you." Girag told me and he's right 

"You may be on to something Girag." I said

"Listen, your problem is solved if you just do this one thing. Win! Now fuel up for your duel and win the girl!" Girag said and handed me a bowl of pork cutlet 

"I will duel and win for her!" I said and started eating the pork cutlet

Yuma P.O.V The next day~

I rushed into class, thinking I might be late which I'm glad I wasn't and when I got close to my desk, I saw a note 

"What's this? 'Meet me on the roof to duel for Aoi'  A duel... for Aoi...? 

"Hey, who is that from?" Ray asked who popped out of nowhere 

"Ah! Where'd you come from?" I asked while I freaked out 

"Morning, I'm glad to see you too!" Ray said

"Yuma, why does the note say to duel for Aoi?" Astral appeared and asked

"I have no idea, I just hope it doesn't involve her into something dangerous like last time" I said but I was also afraid of what Astral would do if Aoi was in danger again

"Let's hope it doesn't her being in danger again" Astral said but I heard a hint of anger in his tone

End of school~

I ran to the roof to meet with whoever sent me this note and ask them what they mean a duel for Aoi, I hope she's not in danger. When I finally reached the roof, there I saw the guy who's just standing there, so he must be the one.

He turned around to look "Look, I got a note that says you're challenging me to a duel over Aoi, I hope you didn't put her in danger or something" I said 

"My note is serious and I'll never do such a thing to her! So answer my question, do you accept my challenge or not?" He said which made me confused 

"If you refuse, then Aoi will realize I am the only one who is worthy of her!" He said again and I can feel Astral anger rising

"I have no idea what you're talking about! But I never turn down the chance to duel!" I said

After the duel~ Astral P.O.V

"I won?" It took Yuma to realize he won the duel "I'm amazing!" I looked at Yuma's opponent's card and saw a spell card 

"He was prepared to utilize the spell card Flaming Knockout! If Yuma had not used his trap card to destroy Lead Yoke, then his opponent's spell card Flaming Knockout could've been activated and dealt damage equal to his own monster's attack points!" I said 'If that was the case, then Yuma would certainly lost the duel, it seems that whenever Yuma finds himself backed into a corner he always believes he will find a way to "high five the sky"... I am glad he does not fall flat on his face and I'm also glad that this time Aoi isn't in danger but I don't accept him as a suitable match for my sister' I thought to myself 

"Best win of all time!" Yuma said 

"Yuma!" I heard my little sister's voice and she was running towards us 

"Aoi, what's wrong?" Yuma asked my sister 

"Sorry Yuma, I didn't mean to blab about the note to Aoi, but I'm afraid that keeping secrets is not exactly the Ray way." Ray apologized

"Yuma, why are you dueling over me? I was afraid I might've caused trouble without realizing it, but please no more keeping secrets from me okay? We're friends right?" Aoi asked Yuma while Yuma is looking dumbfounded as usual 

"Yuma Tsukumo! I can't believe you defeated me!" The boy said "Not by much though" Yuma said "Still..." He was walking towards Yuma which made Aoi freak out 

"Look, it's no big deal. If we dueled again, it could turn out differently" Yuma said and Aoi was in the middle which made the boy pause at his movements 

"P-please... Don't fight... I have no idea what I did but I apologize and please let's be friends!" Aoi said and the boy looked at her, I noticed how his face turned red 

"W-well... Actually I was gonna tell Yuma my name and that we should duel again someday. Also, my name is Alito." The boy named Alito told Aoi 

"O-oh... I see. Then, if we see each other at school, we can have a chat if you want" Aoi said and Alito looked happy 

"Really?! Then I look forward to talking with you!" Aoi smiled at him 

"Okay!"

Then Alito grabbed both her hands "Know this, I'll do whatever it takes to win your heart." Alito said which made Aoi's turned red 

"Eh?!" Aoi said and I felt anger boiling inside of me 'Probably my big brother sense... I won't allow him to be with my little sister! He's not a good match for her!' I thought to myself
