Aoi P.O.V

Today is still the weekend, so I decided to head to Heartland Academy to attend 'I called the academy yesterday before I got here, and they decided I can come in the next day so I better get ready and head out.' I grabbed my bag and key 'Alright, I got everything I need so I better get going or I'll be late.' I left my home and I made my way to the academy 'Maybe if I have time, I should go for a walk. Yeah a walk sounds nice' While I was walking to the academy, I saw a duel going on, so I put on my duel gazer to see who'd dueling who 'A boy named Yuma is dueling someone named Bronk. Huh... I would stay and watch but I can't, I need to get to the academy to register for school' I took off my duel gazer and left

'So this is Heartland Academy? It's pretty big...' I walked to the entrance of the school 'Wow! The inside is even better than the outside! Ah! I need to head to the faculty office right away!' I started running to the office to register for school, hopefully I'm not late! After some time, I finally found the office, I knocked on the door "Come in." I entered the room where I saw the teacher 

"Ah, you must be Aoi Suzuki. My name is Mr. Kay" 

"U-um I-It's nice to meet you Mr. Kay." I took a seat and we both began to do the paperwork for school

Couple of minutes later~

"Alright, everything is done, starting tomorrow you'll start your first day as second-year student. Here's your uniform and I hope to see you tomorrow Suzuki." I nodded my head and left the academy to head home 'Oh before I leave, I better head to a store to buy some food and drinks' I headed to a nearby to store to buy the stuff I need for a while until I find a part time job. After I found a store and some food including some drinks like water, tea, and some soda too, I can finally head home and put all the stuff away. I was walking until something hit me 

"Ah!" I fell on the ground and dropped my groceries to the ground as well 

"Oh no! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to run into like that!" I looked to see ran into me 

'Oh my goodness!!!!! He's so adorable' "I-It's alright." We both got up from the ground and we started picking up the groceries 

"Again, I'm really sorry for bumping into like that but at least I helped picking up your groceries though" The young boy said with a cute smile 'Ah! He's too cute!!!' Then we heard someone calling a name 

"Hart! There you are! Don't run off like that!" It was another boy, he looks older though 

"I'm sorry Kite, I was just excited to spend time with you again. Though I should be more careful, I did bumped into this girl though but I did say sorry!" 

'So this person is named Kite?' I thought to myself

"I apologize for my little brother" The person named Kite said

"N-no. It's alright, he helped me pick up my groceries though. Oh! My name is Aoi Suzuki, I just moved here yesterday. S-so um... It's nice to meet you both!" I said to the both of them 

"Well it's nice to meet you too. My name is Kite Tenjo and this is my little brother Hart Tenjo" Kite made the introduction and he grabbed my bags 

"Are you taking these home? Let us help you carrying this to your home" 

"Oh no! I-It's alright! You don't have to carry these for me!" 

"It's alright! We don't mind! So... will you please accept our help?" Hart was giving the puppy dog eyes 'I can't resist! He's too cute!' 

"A-alright... please follow me to my home" We started walking back to my home.

After some time, we finally reached my home "Wow! You live here?!" I nodded my head, I unlocked my door and we entered my home 

"This is your home? It's nice." I heard Kite said that "T-thanks" Kite and I carried the bags to the kitchen to put them 

"Oh. Hart, you can take seat if you want." 

"Thank you." After he took a seat, he found the remote and turned on the tv to watch some cartoons while he waits for his brother 

"Where should I put these?" Kite asked

"You can put them in the cabinet" I said and he put the boxed foods in the cabinet and after a while we finally put everything away 

"Thanks for the help Kite and you too Hart" Kite showed a small smile while Hart did a huge smile 

"Your welcome! I hope we can see you again!" I felt happy when Hart said that 

"Does that mean... we're friends?" Hart looked at me with a huge smile 

"Of course!" 

"Like Hart says, we're friends and we do hope we'll see each other again. C'mon Hart it's time we head home" After Kite and Hart said their good-byes, I decided to take a bath and get some sleep but before I got to bed I decided to sing again.

We were discussing how one of us should go to earth when suddenly we heard that beautiful singing voice again 

"That voice is beautiful. I wonder who's singing" 

"I have no idea Mizar, who ever that person is, her voice is very gentle." 

"Yeah, for once I agree with you Dumon." After a couple of minutes, the singing ended 

"Ah man. It's over already?" 

"Seems so"

 "Anyhow, back to business Girag you shall go to earth to collect Yuma's numbers" 

"Why do I have to go?!" 

"You are Barian's strongest warrior! That's why I chose you!" 

"Yes I am the a warrior" He destroyed a red floating crystal with one punch "And the strongest. I will get the numbers, do not worry Dumon" He disappeared into the portal

Back to Earth~

Aoi P.O.V

Today is finally my first day, I got up, changed into my school uniform 'My uniform looks nice', made myself some lunch, making sure I have everything for school, I even packed my duel disk and gazer, with everything packed I left for school 'I hope today will go well' I walked out the building and made my way to school, while walking I saw a boy on a hover board while the other boy was running 'Are they... racing?' He jumped from the stairway but... he didn't stick the landing 'I hope he's okay...' I looked at the time 'Oh no! I don't want to be late!' I started running and hoping that I make it on time.

I finally made it, with plenty of time too 'Phew... I made it, but I have time before class starts. So maybe I'll find my class' I was walking around to find my class but I failed to notice that everyone are staring at me 

"Hey who she?" 

"I have no idea, but she's pretty cute don't you think?" 

"Her uniform is green (or maybe aqua green I have no idea), so she's a second year" I heard a lot of whispering about me and I felt really embarrassed now, not paying attention I bumped into someone again 

"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" 

"It's alright. It was my fault for not stopping on time." I looked up and I saw the same boy who was racing 

"So... Are you new here?" I nodded and he looked excited for some reason 

"Really!? Alright! C'mon I'm gonna show you around before school starts!" 

"W-wait! Can you at least tell me your name?" He looked at me with a smile "My name is Yuma Tsukumo! What's your name?" 

"My name is Aoi Suzuki, I moved here two days ago" After we made introduction and started walking then something caught my eye 

"Hey Yuma... Why is there a person floating?" 

He looked surprised "Y-you can see Astral?" I nodded and the person named Astral looked me 

"How can you see me? Wait... You look familiar..." His hands touched my face and he looked into my eyes 

"*Gasp!* It can't be...! You're my..." Before he could finish talking, someone bumped into me 

"Ah! I'm sorry for not moving out of the way!" I looked up to see Shark 

"Oh! Shark!" 

"Huh? Aoi? What are you doing?" 

"Hey Shark! I didn't know the both of you are already friends!" We heard the bell ring meaning class will start pretty soon. I heard Shark calling for me 

"C'mon Aoi, we need to head to class." 

"Alright. See ya later Yuma!" After saying good-bye, Shark and I started walking to our class, while we were walking Shark gave me a notebook about the school and I thanked him.

Astral P.O.V

That girl... "Yuma" "What's up Astral?" "That girl... Aoi Suzuki, I believe I know her" Yuma looked at me shocked "No way! But where did you see her?" "...Astral world... Aoi Suzuki is my long lost sister who disappeared a long time ago." Yuma gasped "No way! We have to tell her!" "I don't think it's wise" "Huh? What do you mean?" "When Aoi looked at me, she didn't recognize me, so I believe she has amnesia." If Aoi is indeed my sister then how did she survive for so long? Oh my sweet sister 'I wonder if she still sings? I'll be happy, her voice is very lovely to hear.'

Aoi P.O.V

 "Looks like we're almost there. So just relax and you'll be fine" 

"Okay... I'll try." We entered the classroom and it's huge 'Uwa! This academy is crazy big! Was it supposed to be college or something?!' We heard the ring 'Eh?! It's gonna start already?!' I took a deep breath and breathed out 'Alright! Time to start my life here!' I heard someone calling me 

"Miss Suzuki." I jumped a little 

"Y-yes" 

"Stand by the podium please." I walked to podium and just stand there "Alright class, we have a new student here today. Her name is Aoi Suzuki and I want all of you to be nice to her."

The teacher pointed me a seat "You will sit next to Reginald Kastle. Reginald please rise your hand so miss Suzuki may take her seat" Reginald? Who's Reginald? Is he nice? I saw a hand and it belonged to...

SHARK?! Shark's actual name is Reginald?! So I started walking towards him to take a seat so class can start, I whispered to him 

"Your name is Reginald?" He nodded his head with his face red 

"Yeah it is, but I only let people certain people to use my name though." I smiled at him 

"It's alright. Let's take our time to get to know each other first." I looked at the board to write down the work our teacher gave us

Time skip to after school~

School has ended for the day 'Sigh... I survived my first day!' I packed my things and I decided to look around the school before I head home for day. I was walking around and saw a lot of different places, I stopped in front of a door that says 'Music room' I entered the room and I saw a lot of musical instruments and different stacks of CDs 'Wow! This is big and so much space too! Maybe I should sing...' I saw a beautiful harp and I know what song I should sing, I took a seat and started playing

After I finished playing, I saw a blurry figure of a woman 

"You've always had such a beautiful voice." When I blinked the blurry figure disappeared 'Who was she? Why did she look familiar to me?' I picked up my bag and left the music room 'I should continue my small tour of the school before I leave'

Small time skip~

"I think I've seen plenty of the school, so I better head home before it gets dark" I was walking to the entrance of the school when I saw a duel going on 'Eh?! W-what's going on?!' I saw Yuma dueling a man who looks like a gang boss 'Yuma is dueling that scary looking person?!' I'm freaking out 'What am I going to do?!' 

"Hey girly!" 

"EEP!" He's calling me...

"I'm gonna duel you! Right here, right now! So you better get ready!" I guess I don't have much of a choice, I took out my duel disk and gazer 

"Let's duel!" It showed my LP 'I hope I'll make through this if not then I'm done for!' I looked at the name of our opponent 'Fender' He's really scary! Yuma draws a card and something was glowing from his deck holder 'What is this light?' 

"I summon Goblindbergh! When I summon Goblindbergh, I can summon a level 4 or below monster from my hand!" That's a really good effect that I must say 

"This is gonna get you buzzing! Appear, Bachibachibachi!" Then Yuma used his spell card called 'Plus Star 123' he used on Bachibachibachi and it became a level 4 

"Now I overlay Goblindbergh and Bachibachibachi! With these two monsters, I build the Overlay network! I XYZ summon NB 39: Utopia!" 

'NB 39...? Why does this card sound so familiar?' Then I felt my head throbbing and had a small vision 

"Don't worry, as your big brother I promise to keep you safe from any danger especially the Barians." The image is quite blurry, I feel like I know him from somewhere but where...? I grabbed my head again due to the pain from the small flashback I had. 

"Ugh!" 

"Huh? Hey! What's wrong?!" My head... it hurts... Why...? When I saw that Number card... my head started hurting 

"I-It's fine. My head started hurting but I'll be fine. Let's continue the duel and win Yuma!" 

"Alright! We're feeling the flow!" Yuma commanded his number to attack Fender's monster but he activated an ability which protects his monster from being destroyed, Yuma also used Bachibachibachi's ability which causes his opponents to still take damage. From 4000 to 2500, I heard his friends cheering for him too, now it's my turn 

"I draw!"
