Ryou was waiting at the airport, his friends Yugi, Tea, Joey and Tristan were there to meet Ryou best friend that he's been talking about non stop.

Ryou was so excited because he received a letter three days ago from his best friend Emma.

Dear Ryou Bakura,

Hey I have some good news to tell you. I finished school early and you know how i was also in law school well ....i finished my years in law school too. So, since I'm on my own I'm planning on moving back to Domino City. Please wait for me at the airport, i will be arriving in 3 days. It's going to be so exciting to see you again after all these years.

P.S. Once I get there let's go to eat.

Ryou told his friends about Emma and decided to come and meet her. He had a teddy bear and flowers as a welcoming. Just then the people started coming in, Ryou had his eyes open for Emma until finally he spotted her.

"Hey! Over here!"

He yelled and waved. Emma saw Ryou and smiled and waved back

"Hey!"

Emma then rushed her way through the people and apologizing along the way. Emma then reached Ryou, they both look at each other with a bright smile. Emma giggled and jumped on Ryou knocking him down into a tight hug.

After a couple of minutes, Emma got up and pulled on Ryou hand to help him up, he blushed handing her the teddy bear and flowers, she blushed taking them aswell.  Yugi and the others took notice of Emma.

"Wow, Ryou nice catch"

Joey said drooling looking at Emma. Ryou blushed embarrassed

"W-well actually..."

"She's a hot babe"

Tristan cut him off along with Joey. Emma looked at them and smirk.

"Thanks boy. So Ryou who are your friends?"

Ryou soon zone out of his blushing state.

"This is Yugi, Tea, Joey and Tristan"

Ryou said pointing to each one.

"Guys this is Emma my best friend"

"Hi guys"

Emma said with a smile.

"Hello Emma, Ryou told us all about so that's why we all decided to come out here and meet you"

Yugi said with a smile.

"Well that's sweet.... So Ryou wow look at you, you've changed a lot. You look even more handsome then I remembered."

Ryou blushed at her statement.

"So have you, you've gotten more attractive and beautiful"

It was now Emma turn to blush. Yugi then interrupted the two best friends that were staring into each others eyes with a slight cough.

"So how about we get out of here and go out to eat?"

Everyone agreed, Emma was about to get her bag but Ryou offered to carry her things for her. Together they all went to Burger World, they were enjoying their meal and got to lean more about Emma.

After eating, Ryou and Emma left to his home, she was going to be staying with Ryou until she got on her feet. She offered to pay half of everything because she didn't want Ryou to feel like she is taking advantage of him. Emma was finally able to settle in and went to the living room to sit and talk with Ryou and catch up in everything.

"What? You have school tomorrow? Bummer, I was hoping for us to hang out."

She said with a slight pout, he just laughed.

"I know but the time is different from here to america"

"I guess you right, I guess I'm gonna be going to look around for a job in being a lawyer"

"That sounds great"

"Thanks, wish me luck on my job hunt tomorrow"

Ryou smiled and nodded, Emma looked at Ryou for a moment biting her lips

"Ryou, are you dating anyone by any chance?"

Ryou was surprised by the question.

"Well no actually, everytime when I tried I guess for some reason I scare them off, I don't know why exactly. I guess I wasn't meant to be with anyone because I'm curse."

Ryou said with his head low, Emma looked at Ryou with sympathy before getting close to him bringing him in for a hug.

"Don't worry Ryou, I wont leave you no matter what"

She said with confidence. Ryou returned the hug and gently pulled away from each other. Until Ryou looked at her with a raise eyebrow and smirk on his face.

"And why may I ask did you ask me that kind of question?"

Emma nervously scratched the back of her head, giggling 'Yes I might have a chance with him after all'

"U-uh no reason hahaha"

Ryou didn't say anything but then ask

"Are you dating anyone?"

Emma cast her eyes down

"No no one yet but I think I might soon"

She said smiling, Ryou didn't notice that by that statement he got kind of hurt inside. 'No I can't have feeling for my best friend right, i don't want her to get hurt'
