Reader's P.o.v
You were currently walking around your school trying to avoid the girls who were bullying you. You see two people dueling so you decide to watch them along with a group of other people. The kid with spikey hair won without breaking a sweat.

"WHAT DID I DO WRONG? " The brown haired boy with the spiked hair asks. You knew it was a rhetorical question however you disregarded that and begin to walk through the crowd still making sure to keep your face hidden from those girls. You made it to the guy, and when you did you look at his current hand. "You should have played that trap card first. Your opponent wouldn't be able to avoid the trap if you played it earlier on in the duel" you explained. The spiky haired kid looked at you a bit impressed that you figured out a way to beat him so quickly, or at least help to raise the chances of the brown haired boy to win.

"Who are you? " the brown haired boy ask's, seemingly ignoring the advice you had just given him.
"....."
"Well I am Tristan, and this is Yugi" Tristan explained.
"And this is (y/n)" Someone grabbed your hand and pushes you onto the ground. You growl a little and stand back up only to be pushed back down again.
"STAY DOWN YOU STUPID RUNT" The bully shouted as she kicked you in the stomache. You let out a yelp of pain. The girl smirks and chuckles seeing you in pain.
"LEAVE HER ALONE (bullies name)" The boy you knew as Yugi said as he got up from his chair. "Or what? " (bullies name) said, and kicks you in the stomach again and laughs seeing you in pain.
"I challenge you to a duel" Yugi said even though he wasn't really Yugi any more. His voice was deeper then before, his eyes were more narrow, and he grew taller.
In your mind you were thinking "What the heck just happened?". "Fine" the bully replies. You slowly sit up.

Time skip after the duel

"How could I lose" The bully says surprised. You wanted to laugh and tell her that she messed up so much that, it was plan as day that she was going to lose. But you kept your mouth shut. You see the boy who looks like Yugi walk over to you and offer you his hand to help you stand up. You smile at him and take his hand letting him help you up. "Are you ok? " he ask's you looking at you with concern in his eyes. You smile at him and nod "Yes I am ok thank you for helping me" you say. He smiles at you "No problem I really hate it when people bully others". He then offers to walk you home. You blush a little but smile and accept his offer. As he walks you home he explains that his name is Yami and that he is the spirit of the millennium puzzle. Yod nod now understanding what had happened. When you reach your house Yami smiles at you "I hope that we can hangout sometime (y/n)" he says to you. You smile and nod "I would love to hangout with you sometime Yami". Yami smiles at you and then gently takes your hand and kisses it "Then till we meet again (y/n)".He smirks then walks off leaving you blushing like mad.

Time skip again

You and Yami have been hanging out whenever you could. You have really fallen for the mysterious spirit ever since the day you first meet him he has helped you he would stop to protect you from bullies and was always there to cheer you up when you were down. You love dueling with him and it's fun when the both of you to hang out and talk. But you are afraid of telling him how you really felt fearing rejection. School had just ended and it was raining really hard and you had forgot your umbrella. "(Y/n) let me walk you home since you don't have an umbrella" Yami says putting the umbrella over both of your heads. You smile at him " Sure thanks Yami" You say. He smiles back at you "No problem (y/n) I wouldn't want you to catch cold" Yami says. You blushing that all seemed that he was concerned for your well being. You both walk side by side to your house when you got too your house you look up at him " Would you like to come inside and dry off Yami?" you blush a letter asking him and opening the door. He smiles at you " I think I will take you up on your offer (y/n)" he walks inside putting up his umbrella and take off his shoes you take off yours as well and lead him into your living room your parents were currently away on a business trip. Yami sits down on the couch and you go into the kitchen and bring back some drinks you had one too Yami he smiles and thanks you. You smile and sit down beside him and turn on the TV to the Weather Channel." This is an important announcement please stay indoors major lightning storms are heading for Domino City I repeat stay indoors" when the announcer on the TV set this aside you really hate thunder and where there's lightning there is thunder. Yami suddenly brings you out of your thoughts "(y/n) is it alright if I stay here until the storms over?" He ask's. "Sure Yami" you smile and blush a little bit.
You and Yami continue to watch the TV when suddenly and loud crash of thunder comes you jump a little and surprise. "(Y/n) are you ok? " Yami ask's concerned. "Y-yes" you say nervously another crash of thunder sound and you close your eyes starting to shake a little. Yami see's this and grabs your hand and pulls you too sit down on his lap and hugs you close to his chest. you blush surprised by this you look up at Yami and you see him blushing a little bit. "(Y/n) you don't need to be afraid I'm right here to protect you and look after you" He says then gently takes your chin and kisses you passionately. You blush but slowly melt into the kiss and slowly kiss him back. When the need for air became to much you both break the kiss. And look into each other's eyes "I love you (y/n)" Yami says. "I love you too Yami" you says smiling at him. "(Y/n) will you be be my girlfriend" He ask's. You blush and give him a peak on the lips "I would love to be your girlfriend" you smile at him. He hugs you close to him by now you have forgotten all about the storm outside.

I knew somebody was going to ask for this eventually so I went ahead and wrote it it takes me awhile to write everything because I want to make sure I do that job so it takes me a little while to write this anyways hope you enjoy it
