A month flew by and Karla got the hang of working for Kaiba. Kaiba took note that she was responsible, always on time and always have a coffee ready for him when he gets to his office door. He was also happy at the fact her sarcasm has calm down.

Karla was currently on her leather chair leaning back and spinning around bored out of her mind. She got everything done early as usual and her boss was at the meeting which was probably ending soon.

Kaiba walked down the hall and saw Karla spinning around in her chair. He made a slight cough to catch her attention.

"This is a working place not a time for a relaxation"

"There is nothing to do"

Karla said continuing to spin on the chair not bothering to stop.

"What do you mean there is nothing to do, there is always something to do?"

"The files are organized and labeled to the right cabinet files. The scheduling is done, papers have already been fax and its not even 12 o'clock not a bad morning."

"Really?"

Kaiba asked impressed that everything is done. Karla then stopped spinning and sat up right.

"Yes, since everything is done from what I need to do, can I go home early"

Kaiba smirk.

"Nice try but if you get off early you wont get paid."

Karla groaned

"Fine, then keep me entertain will you"

"Can't I have papers to go over and sign"

Kaiba said walking inside his office. Karla invited herself inside and sat on the couch that was in front of the TV. Kaiba narrowed his eyes behind her.

"Just come right in and make yourself at home"

He said sarcastically. As he sat behind his desk and began to read. Karla was channel surfing and then got bored, turning the TV off she flipped over on the couch and sat in front of Kaiba watching him work. Kaiba looked up from his paper and saw Karla staring at him.

"What?"

He asked annoyed

"You look so serious"

Kaiba let out a sigh and went back to work ignoring his secretary in his office. Karla stood up and began exploring the room, profiling what kind of guy is her boss. After walking around in boredom, a bright idea pop up on Karla's head.

She happily skipped to where Kaiba was and again he looked up and notice her hands were behind her back and she had a big smile on her face. Kaiba rolled his eyes and set the paper down and leaned back.

"What do you want?"

"I think I found a way to bump up this place. How about we meaning me were to have a party not a big party but small karaoke party here at the lunchroom."

Kaiba's face remained motionless.

"In case you have forgotten where you are, this is a working business not a get together"

"I won't stop bugging you. Please please please please please please...."

"Alright already!! Just go and get out. So i can get some work done"

Karla smile and walked out happily

"You said it boss"

Karla was excited to be in charge of a party. She began to plan the best food, invites, beverages, balloons, tables, chairs, decorations, etc. Once she was done, Kaiba had stepped out of his office with his briefcase to head home but Karla stopped him on the way.

"Shouldn't you been gone?"

"I wanted to give you the list of things I have prepared for the party and here is your invitation"

"You're inviting me to my own company's party?"

Karla nodded happily.

"Of course, we are going to have security on the front door and plus you get to bring a guest"

Kaiba closed his eyes and grabbed invitation and ripped it in half in front of her but she still had a smile on her face.

"Sorry to rain on your parade but I'm not going"

"Of course you are, you're the guest of honor and besides I contacted your little brother Mokuba. I'm pretty sure he will convince you. So here and drive safe"

Karla said happily putting another invitation on Kaiba's chest as she walked away and Kaiba quickly grabbed it before it fell. He took a quick look at the invitation and spin around to see Karla getting in her car and driving off.

"Where did she get this picture?"

Kaiba said to himself as he looked at the invitation and it show reads:

You're Invited!
Karaoke Night of Fun!

Where: KaibaCorp Lounge
Time: 7pm
When: This Saturday

Guest of Honor Seto Kaiba

In the center was an image of Kaiba smiling.

'She sure is something else'

He thought shaking his head as he went inside his car and drove home.
