A few months went by and Sapphire grew even though she was still a baby she had Kaiba's look and Karla's feature. Karla was back in work but was working on a secret project Kaiba had no idea of.

As for Kaiba he has his scientist working on a new duel disk and a recreation of himself dueling the pharoah Yami Yugi since he was no longer here. Karla got rid of her baby fat and had Kaiba babysit in which she thought.

At a church-like setting, Yami Yugi dressed as he was, while sharing Yugi's body and has two additional gold armbands. He walks through a set of doors, where he faces Kaiba. The two engage in a duel which ultimately ends in Kaiba's victory.

The Duel is revealed to have taken place in a virtual reality, while Kaiba is in his space station. One of Kaiba's scientist hands him a bottle of water and comments on how well the system is performing, but Kaiba is not happy. He deems the Duel imperfect, because despite the accuracy and fine-tuning of his recreation of Atem, it was not the real thing. In frustration, he throws the bottle on to the ground.

"Fire whoever designed that bottle, Kaiba Corp's products shouldn't bend that easily"

Kaiba said walking away from them but stopped when he heard his name called and recognize who it was and cringed.

"Kaiba!!"

It was Karla walking up to him angrily. Kaiba saw the look and stood his ground.

"Get out!!"

Karla yelled at the scientists so she can talk in private with her husband.

"Where is the baby?"

"She is with Mokuba"

"Oh yeah, from what I know Mokuba is running errands for you"

Kaiba rolled his eyes

"She's with him"

"He's in Egypt. What were you doing? You were suppose to be watching her"

Karla growled, even though Kaiba was taller than Karla she was still a threat.

"I'm working on something important"

Karla let out a sigh pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Don't tell me its that game again?"

Kaiba narrowed his eyes at her.

"This is about winning a title that is rightfully mine. I am going the extra mile for i can beat my rival. I am trying to prove it to the world that i am not just a second rate duelist and have people step over me"

Karla placed both her hands on Kaiba's cheek.

"Your my world, you don't have to prove anything to me"

Kaiba let out a growl

"You know what I mean Karla"

Karla released his cheek and shook her head

"Yeah yeah, i feel the love"

Kaiba wrapped his arm around her waist and together they walked to the operator room where Mokuba contacted the space station and informed Kaiba that they had found the pieces of the Millennium Puzzle at the excavation.

"Mokuba is Sapphire okay?"

Karla asked concern. Mokuba smiled and took Sapphire in his arms until it showed her on the screen.

"Yeah she is fine, I'm making sure she stays hydrated"

"I'm sorry I had no idea my husband would dump our child on you"

Karla said glaring at her husband once more. Kaiba rolled his eyes

"We just finished talking about it"

Kaiba said also returning the glare. Karla faced him

"It doesn't mean it was over"

Kaiba and Karla continued their bickering while Mokuba looked down at his niece.

"Don't worry Sapphire it's just the way they communicate"

Sapphire made some babbling noise in response. The only thing Kaiba now had to do is set up the pieces and another world tournament which will take a few years to complete but he is determine to get it done as soon as possible.

*Few Years Later*
Sapphire grew and grew she is now 8yrs old. Kaiba had everything done even the tournament in which he lost again but that didn't stop him. Karla's secret project was already complete, in a few days she will reveal it to her husband.

Sapphire went to a private school and got into drama acting for singing and talent. She learned to sing and play a piano, she had an act coming up soon and she really wanted to impress her mother and father.

She haven't told them about it until the next day before the recital performance at her school. She has been practicing ever since her mother sang to her when she was little and she grew attach to sing just like her mother.

"Okay I'm almost perfected my singing, i just need a little more practice for i can hit the high note good"

Sapphire said to herself. She announced her parents about the recital performance she signed up for and wanted her parents to see her sing.
