Saturday rolled in Karla was almost done setting everything up. The food was already in display, drinks were in the ice chest champagne served. The stage was set and decorated with the karaoke machine. The streamers were up. Karla was currently working on the balloons.

"And there that's the end of that"

Karla said with her hands on her hips looking around the room, proud of her hard work.

"Now I just need to go and change"

Karla took her dress and went into the bathroom to change. It was now 7pm and co workers were coming in. Everyone in the company got an invitation and they were surprised that their boss actually agreed to have a karaoke night at the lounge because he was strict man.

Karla had a fancy chair facing the stage where Kaiba was going to sit because after all he was the guest of honor. The lounge was soon filled in with lots of people. Kaiba was here, he was standing in the doorway looking at the decorated lounge.

Karla turned and look with a happy smile.

"Look the man of the hour arrived"

Everyone turned to look at the door and they all started to clap. Kaiba simply smirks and walks in, everyone went back to what they were doing and Karla walked up to Kaiba.

"Nice outfit. It really brings out the color of your eyes"

"Don't start to kiss ass to me"

Karla glared at him and bite her tongue before saying anything then simply turned away. Kaiba smirk and watched her leave.

'She sure does look beautiful in that dress, ugh what am I saying she is just a nobody to me'

He thought with a slight blush. He decided to at least enjoy himself as he made his way for to eat and sat at his own VIP chair.

'Not a bad food although all of these are my favorites'

Kaiba then turn his attention on stage as Karla went up.

"Hey everyone, I hope your enjoying yourself tonight because the fun is about to begin. First up we have Harvy singing Never Gonna Give You Up. Show him some love people and remember after everyone participates they're will only be one, second and third place winner for tonight's karaoke"

Harvy went on stage as everyone cheered. The list went on and on. Karla went to stand next Kaiba,

"So how are you liking this so far?"

"Pfft I don't care"

"Right. Well I hope you cheer me on because I am next"

Kaiba looked at her in surprise.

"Now this I got to see"

Karla then went on stage.

"Okay everyone I am the last contestant for the night so I will be singing Wrecking Ball"

Surprisingly Kaiba along with other stood up and cheered for Karla as she finished singing. She won the Karaoke Contest.
