The music was on full swing, people from the richest dressed in fancy clothing and luxury. These people weren't just any ordinary, these people are owners of the top company gathered together in a ballroom.

It was normal for these kind of events to happen especially for the rich people. Extravagant food served to the finest silverware on the table. Of all people, there he was Seto Kaiba owner of KaibaCorp company standing on the side shaking hands with other people.

He was looking at some people dance, chat and gossip showing off their expensive cars, jewelry, money, etc.

"Ugh I hate these parties"

Seto muttered to himself. He came alone even though he could have brought Mokuba with him but it was a school night so unfortunately he had to stay at home. Seto took a sip of his drink and decided to go get another beverage but without looking he bump into someone.

"Pardon me"

"No it was my fault I'm sorry"

Seto got a good look at the lady in front of him. She looks different from all the other ladies there, she had a simple dress, light jewelry and make up.

"My name is Karla Jean, yours?"

She asked stretching out her hand to him to shake but Seto didn't bother to shake the girl's hand.

"Seto Kaiba"

Karla realized he was going to shake her hand and so she slowly put it down.

"Well Mr. Kaiba it was nice meeting you"

Seto then walked away leaving the girl alone without any response. The girl glared at him and grabbed her drink and splattered it to Kaiba's back. Kaiba stopped froze in his spot.

"Rude much?"

Karla said sarcastically, the music stopped playing and everyone's attention was on Kaiba and Karla. Kaiba slowly turned around to see the girl glaring at him with a smirk on her face.

Kaiba remained quiet and turned away from the girl and continued to make his way to the beverage table taking a big gulp he went to the men's restroom. As he left, the music turned back on and everyone was now minding their own business.

Unfortunately, the scene didn't go unnoticed by Karla's parents. Her father walked up to Karla angrily pulling her outside.

"Do you have any idea what you just did?"

"He was being rude to me"

"He is the CEO of KaibaCorp one of the biggest company in Domino City"

"So?"

"So, you don't just throw your drink at anyone just because they were being rude"

"But.."

"But nothing. I want you to go over there and apologize right now"

Karla remained silent and followed her father back inside. Kaiba came out of the men's room and was met with Karla's father.

"Mr. Kaiba, I'm sorry for my daughter's behavor. I thought she would no better but apparently there was still more teaching to do"

Kaiba just kept his eyes on Karla who had her head down avoiding his eyes.

"Now Karla, do you have anything to say to Mr. Kaiba?"

Karla picked up her head and looked at Kaiba.

"Sorry for wasting my $10 drink on you"

"Karla?!"

"What?!"

Karla's father shook his head and looked at Kaiba with a apologetic look.

"Like I said, I'm sorry for my daughter's behavior."

He faced towards his daughter.

"As for your punishment, I would like for you to work with Mr. Kaiba"

Kaiba eyes open wide at that statement. This girl was causing him trouble at a party and if she was to work for him then their would be trouble at work. It was like he was punishing his own self.

Kaiba did a slight cough catching the father's attention.

"That would not be necessary"

"Nonsense, it for to teach my daughter here a lesson. Since you pulled that stunt you will now do what Mr. Kaiba says"

Kaiba remained silent, but Karla growled.

"That's not fair. Why him"

"Pulling that stunt was your idea and if you don't do it then you won't be getting your allowance"

Karla was stunned and crossed her arms and glared at the ground.

"Very well then. So do we have a deal Mr. Kaiba?"

Kaiba smirk and stretched out his hand to shake with Karla's father who happily shook it.

"Deal"

Kaiba then turned to Karla who has her eyes narrowing at him.

"I expect you to be at my company, tomorrow 9am sharp at my office door."

Karla remained silent so her father spoke up for her.

"She will be there, she is very responsible"

"We'll see."

Kaiba said walking away from them. Karla saw him walking away and then turned towards her father.

"You hate me that much don't you?"

"Relax sweetheart its just to show you how you should respect everyone."

"Yeah right. Lesson learn"

Karla said sarcastically.
