The next day, Syrus met with Heather in front of her dorm. They happily greeted each other.

"Hey, so how did you sleep last night?"

"Like a baby hahaha but I did get kind of lost"

"You could have ask Alexis for assistance"

"Yeah but I didn't want to take up any of your guys time, I mean like I'm already taking up your time"

"I don't mind really"

"Are you sure?"

"Really"

"Well then thanks I will take it into consideration. So where are we off to today?"

"I thought I would show you the cliffs, it has a great view of the ocean and the forest"

"Great then lets go"

Syrus and Heather headed to the cliff to take in the nice scenery.

"Wow you weren't kidding this is place breath taking"

Heather had a bright smile looking down at the cliff and up to the ocean. Syrus had his eyes on Heather's face expression, her smile was breath taking instead of the view. They continued their way to the forest where a waterfall came into view.

"Ah Syrus are you seeing this"

Heather asked excitedly.

"This is the smallest waterfall I ever seen"

Syrus was confused and looked up at the waterfall.

"This is small. It looks big to me"

"I went to see the Niagara Falls with my parents on our vacation time. It was beautiful"

"Cool"

"Okay where to now?"

"How about I show you around the academy?"

"Sure"

"And um Heather?"

"Yeah"

She turned to look at him with a smile.

"If you want to but you don't have to me...i mean.."

But Heather cut him off giggling.

"Syrus I thought you passed this stage of stuttering when your with me. So what is it?"

Syrus swallow the lump in his throat

"At night the Duel Academy looks nice and I was wondering if you want to go with me?"

"Yeah I would like that but where to exactly?"

"The lake"

"This place has a lake too?"

Heather was amazed this place had everything. Syrus nodded.

"Where do I meet you?"

"I'll meet you at the front of your dorm"

"Okay. Man I'm starving, want to go get a bite to eat?"

"Yeah"

Together the two continued to make their way to the cafeteria, with their food in hand. Syrus saw his friends at their usual bench table and decided to go sit with them.

"Hey guys how was your day going?"

Jaden saw Syrus and Heather and smiled.

"It was good kind of boring but good. So Heather how do you like Duel Academy"

"Its amazing"

"Great and just one more thing"

"Sure what is it?"

"Do you think you can get me a chance to meet Yugi Moto in person, along with a couple of pictures and autographs and..."

"Alright we get it already!"

Chazz yelled at Jaden as he tries to eat his food in silence. Heather laughs and nodded.

"Sure, i'll see what I can do"

Jaden then looked at Syrus's food in hand and smirk as it haven't been touched.

"Hey bud, are you going to eat that?"

"Yes"

Syrus quickly tried to hide his food. Everyone else just laughs.

*Weeks Later*

Syrus and Heather continued to hang out, as the days go by they are seen together practically everyday to the point where their was a rumor started that Syrus and Heather are dating, but everytime when they ask the answer is always no.

Syrus and Heather were currently heading to the field. News were going around that a dance will be taking place so Heather and Syrus decided to take part in setting everything up. Syrus was really nervous because he is planning on asking Heather to be his date for the dance but decided to ask her later.

Night time rolled in and Syrus and Heather were taking a stroll along the lake, they made it a habit to do it every night. They came to a certain spot and sat down next to each looking out to the still water. Syrus looked at Heather nervously.

'Okay here I go'

He thought.

"Um Heather about the dance, do you have a date?"

Heather looked at him and then thought for a moment and then looked at him with a sad smile.

"No I don't unfortunately. I wasn't really thinking about that because since I will be singing through the night"

"Oh well that's great...uh I mean that's do bad"

Heather raised one eyebrow looking at him.

"Why do you ask?"

"Um..."

"Syrus"

"Will you go with me to the dance?"

Heather blushed with a smiled.

"Yes, I would love to go with you"

Out of excitement Syrus yelled.

"Yes alright!!"

He quickly remember where he was and blush scratching the back of his head nervously.

"Oops sorry"

Heather simply laughs.

"I'm glad you ask me Syrus"

She leaned over and gave him a peck on the cheek causing him to blush up a storm.
