Highfiving the Sky? Not So Much

Yugo P.O.V.

It was a lovely morning, and the morning sun was sending rays of sunlight through the curtains of the Synchro users bedroom. Yugo growled in protest as the ray of sunlight hit him directly in the face, and made him slowly wake up. Yugo turned around in his bed, and grabbed his pillow over his head, to block the sun for just a few more minutes. He was having an awesome dream, and he didn't want to wake up. He wanted to sleep a while longer. Sadly, he wasn't able to, because a loud roar could be heard at the nightstand near his bed. Yugo growled a little again.

"Alright, alright, easy there Clear Wing, I am awake," the boy said and sighed, turning to the monster card at the nightstand. "You didn't need to shout." The dragon roared once again, in a firm manner, and Yugo looked puzzled at it.

"What do you mean that I shouldn't be late?" he questioned. "What are you going on about?"

The dragon roared again, and made Yugo turn to the calendar which was hanging on the wall. This month, the days in the calendar were crossed over, counting down to a specific day, which was marked with a giant red circle and the letters 'T.T' in the middle. However, as it so happens, there were no days which needed to be marked with a cross, so that means...

"It's today!" Yugo shouted and flew, or more like fell out of bed, as quick as he could. Yugo got up from the floor with an pained groan, tossing around with his P.J's in quick movement.

"Clear Wing, why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" he then shouted and rushed around the room, trying to get his normal attire on. The dragon roared back at him.

"What do you mean with 'I did'? I am totally late! Ahr, what am I forgetting? What am I forgetting?" the Synchro user yelled up in panic. The dragon roared again.

"What soap?" Yugo questioned, but then it dawned on him. "Oh yeah, I promised I would take a bath for the upcoming event. Ahr, why is all this happening to me?" Then Yugo ran out of the room, carrying a pile of clothes, while at the same time being only half dressed, while rushing towards the bathroom. He never noticed that Clear Wing had actually woken him up early, so he didn't need to fuss at all.

Yugo arrived at the bathroom, only to find the bathroom occupied. There were six people in this household with only two bathrooms. Yoko and Yusho had their own near their room, meaning this bathroom was shared between the Yu boys. Something that Yusho meant was necessary so they could learn to share and become closer. Which resolved in bathroom fighting between two individuals.

"Yuri! Get your lazy ass out of the bathroom!" Yugo shouted and hammered on the door like crazy. "I should have known you would do this to me! And on my special day as well! You know I need to be ready!"

Chuckling sounds could be heard on the inside, confirming Yugo's suspicion that Yuri was really in there. He hammered a little more at the door. Then a little more. Then a little... The door flew open and an annoyed Yuri was at the doorstep. Dressed in his common attire. White pants and purple common shirt. Besides that, he was barefooted.

"Will you stop that?" Yuri sneered. "Can't a guy just fix himself up in peace?" Yugo rolled his eyes and walked quickly passed him.

"Not today. I need a bath. Today is my special day," he sneered at Yuri. "Now get out!" Yuri hummed at that a little.

"Oh, really now? Well, good for you," Yuri replied and smirked. "God knows how long you needed a bath. Just be careful. I dropped some soap on the floor. So don't hurt yourself." Yugo rolled his eyes at him now.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Get out!" Yugo said firmly. Yuri shrugged and did just that. Yugo sent him an annoyed look, before he closed the door, and undressed himself. Then he went to take a shower. Or tried. He had just hit the floor at the shower cubicle, when he tripped, and fell to the ground. Luckily, Yugo had good reflexes, so he didn't get badly hurt or anything. Yugo sneered and got up, finding the floor covered in soap residue.

"Yuri!" Yugo shouted as loud as he could.

Finally, finally, Yugo was back in his room, fully dressed in his white duel runner suit. His deck was placed inside his deck case, and was finally good to go. Right now however, he was looking at a giant poster, which was placed over his bed. It was not just any poster. It was a poster of the famous Accel Duel Champion, Yusei Fudo. The one and only Duel Runner champ and Yugo's eternal idol.

He was present at this years Tag Team tournament. The Accel Duel Tag Team Tournament, or A.D.T.T. for short. Yugo was of course participating along with Yuya. It was something they had been looking forward to.

"Look, the day is finally here, Clear Wing," Yugo told his dragon and Ace monster. He was holding up the card, for his dragon to see. "The day where I finally meet Yusei Fudo. My one and only idol. How I have been waiting for this day." Clear Wing growled in agreement to that.

"We will finally face up against Stardust Dragon," Yugo continued, clenching his hand. "And it's probably gonna be an epic, but tough duel." At that, Clear Wing growled again.

"Well, what are we waiting for?!" Yugo said in an eager tone, and smiled a big smile. Then he rushed down towards the kitchen. He knew that whatever happened today, nothing could ever ruin this day. That he knew.

Yugo, however, didn't know how wrong he could really be. It all started with him entering the kitchen. Yugo was always positive, and stubborn by nature. It was these qualities that enabled him to never give up at all. However, when he entered the kitchen, he was met with the most gloomy and depressed mood he had ever felt. Even Yugo was about to succumb to all this negativity. He found Yuya, Yuto, and Yuri silently at the kitchen table, eating a pile of Yoko's pancakes that were present on a plate at the table. However, neither Yusho nor Yoko were here though.

"Well, this is a depressing sight," Yugo said and sat down on one of the empty chairs they were having in there. He filled a plate with a pile of pancakes, and slowly began eating. "Where's Yusho and Yoko by the way?"

"Don't know, and who really cares?" Yuri sneered our in annoyance. Yuya sent him a disapproved look by that, which made Yuri silent pretty quickly.

"Dad is at the You Show Duel School teaching," Yuto replied slowly. "Mom is out shopping. She was sure we could handle being alone for a while." Yugo grinned at that.

"Of course, we're not little kids any longer," he then replied and glared at Yuri. "Or some of us are. Thanks a lot for the bath, Yuri. You nearly had me doing the splits! Next time, clean your own mess up!"

"You're welcome," Yuri replied with a smirk. "Next time, you might think twice about annoying someone when they're in the bathroom."

Yugo glared at him, but in the end he decided it was not worth it. Nothing, not even Yuri, could destroy this day. Instead, Yugo ignored him, which probably surprised the others a great deal. Normally, they always argue or something after all.

Yuto's eyes narrowed a little, but he decided not to ask into all this, and continued eating his breakfast. Silence was uttered around the table as the four 'brothers' were eating their share of breakfast.

"Ah, there is nothing like mom's pancakes!" Yugo then said and stretched his body. "Another great start on this beautiful morning, don't you think Yuya?"

"Yeah, sure," Yuya muttered out slowly and looked down at his feet for some reason. Yugo found that rather odd.

"Hey, what is it with you being down in the dump, Yuya?" Yugo then questioned. "You should be excited. You do know it is the day today right? For the A.D.T.T."

"I know..." Yuya replies in a low voice. Yugo looked puzzled at him.

"Then what? I thought you would be a lot more eager today, considering the fact that we'll win it all, and meet one of the most famous Accel Champions of all times - Yusei Fudo!" Yugo then shouted in an eager tone filled with enthusiasm. Yuri rolled his eyes at that display and Yuto looked worriedly at Yuya.

Yugo looked puzzled at his little brother. He had actually figured Yuya would shout along with him, like he did when he was performing in his action duels. Yuya, however, was still looking down at his feet.

"Yugo, there is something I kind've need to tell you..." Yuya began and looked up slowly. "So, uh, don't be mad, okay?"

Yugo looked puzzled at him, but nodded.

"I...I don't...think I...I'll be your partner for the A.D.T.T," he hen stuttered out slowly. "I have to...but the brakes on duels or actions duels...for today. Sorry!"

Yuya bowed his head deeply at the end. Yugo however was staring. He needed a little minute to comprehend what Yuya had told him. Then, of course, he flipped out.

"WHAT?! But that is...No! Yuya, you can't quit!" Yugo shouted angrily and looked like he was going to seriously maim Yuya at that very moment. However, Yugo settled for slamming his fist on the table, making the plates and cups rattle from the impact. "How can you even think of quitting?! The A.D.T.T is today! You all know how important this day is to me! Yuya, why are you doing this to me?! WHY?!"

Yuya gulped a little, and sent a pleading look at Yuto for help.

"Yuya isn't well enough to duel today, Yugo," Yuto then said, which in return made Yugo turn his glare in his direction. "He's had a lot of very intense nightmares the past week or so -"

"Nightmares?!" Yugo shouted. "That's a lame excuse. I haven't heard anything about it!"

Yuri rolled his eyes, and spoke in a cold tone. "Because while me and Yuto were trying to help Yuya get some sleep last night, you were acting like a thickheaded bear who went into hibernation and was snoring your ass off. Everyone else has heard Yuya screaming in his sleep: Yusho, Yoko, Yuto, me, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the neighbourhood heard him scream. You on the other hand didn't even bother to get up."

Yugo glared angrily at Yuri, and was probably gonna shout something at him, when Yuto stopped him.

"The point is, Yuya is not gonna duel on any duel runner for the time being," he said. "It'd be too dangerous for him because of the lack of sleep he has been getting."

"They have Auto-Pilot!" Yugo sneered. "He'll be fine! I-!"

"He can't duel if he falls asleep!" Yuto said firmly. "Honestly Yugo, I would've thought Yuya's health would be more important than your stupid tournament."

"It is!" Yugo replied slowly, before sighing. "It is more important than the tournament. It's just...I've been waiting for the last four months for this day to come. I mean, if I miss this chance to meet Yusei Fudo - the Shooting Star of New Domino City - then I'm never gonna get the chance again. I've gotta be there."

Yuri sighed, pinching his nose. "You can still go to the tournament without Yuya..."

"Yeah right. This is the Accel Duel Tag Team Tournament we're talking about here!" Yugo sneered and slammed his hand on the table again. "How am I suppose to find a partner, who needs to know my game plans, on such short notice...wait a minute. Yuto - you could be my partner."

Yuto shook his head. "I can't, Yugo. I'm taking Yuya for a checkup at the Leo Institute today," he began and added when he saw Yuri's eyes narrow. "And not for getting medicine. I want to know the reason why Yuya's nightmares seem to be getting worse as of late. I might talk with a shrink when we are there. Besides, even if none of that happened, I couldn't come with you. I can't ride a duel runner at all..."

"Oh, for the love of god! I may as well kiss my chance for entering the Tag Team Tournament goodbye!" Yugo cried out in dismay. "They'll never let me compete as a solo duellist..."

"Well, you can always switch up costumes, and pretend to be Yuya and yourself," Yuri said and chuckled. "Now THAT would be entertaining to watch."

"Ha-ha, very funny, Yuri. But you're still missing the point; there needs to be two duellists present at the start of the...tournament..." Yugo first shouted, and then went down in a lower voice. In the end, he finally went silent. He was then staring at Yuri with a weird look.

"What?" Yuri questioned, lifting one of his eyebrows. "Why are you looking at me like that for?"

Yugo's eyes narrowed as he got up from his chair. He then stalked with firm steps over to Yuri and was soon glaring down at the Fusion specialist.

"Yuri Sakaki, you're gonna be my duelling partner for A.D.T.T!" he then shouted.

Yuri's eyes widened in in surprise at first. Then he scoffed out a laugh and got up from his chair too.

"Fat chance," he replied. "Like I ever wanna team up with you. Besides, I have plans with Dennis today." He began walking away, but Yugo grabbed his arm in a vice grip so tight that it actually stunned him.

"Then cancel them!" he sneered at Yuri. "I'm not fond of this either, but if I'm gonna have a shot at meeting Yusei Fudo, I need a partner. You already know my game plan, we've battled enough times against each other to know. So swallow your damn pride and help me out will ya?"

Silence ran through the kitchen now. Yuya and Yuto were literally staring. They hadn't thought something like this would happen, when they woke up today. They figured lightning would have an easier chance of hitting them, than Yugo and Yuri working together for anything, even by their own choice.

"I say you should go for it," Yuya then encouraged. "It'd be an amazing opportunity for both of you."

Yuri hissed angrily at that. "As much as I would love to see you humiliate yourself in front of several hundred thousand others Yugo - and I really WOULD love to see that - I'm gonna pass up on that offer, because I have no intentions in helping you." He ripped his arm out of Yugo's tight grip. "Now, if you'll excuse me."

He began leaving, and Yugo's desperation started getting worse. Yuri was - IS - his only chance of entering the tournament. If he had no partner at all, then all chance of him going was thrown out of the window.

"So that's how it is then?! Are too big of a goddamn COWARD to enter a tournament with your brother?! Or am I too embarrassing for you to handle?! HUH?! Is that it, Yuri? Or is there more behind it?!" Yugo shouted angrily at him now. "You know what? I really thought you had changed. I thought you at least cared a little about any of us! But the truth is that you're still the same, cruel coward you were back in the war! You owe me, Yuri! For all you did to Rin, me and the others! You owe me BIG TIME! And if you walk out on me now, then I swear to god I will never forgive you!"

Once again, there was silence. Yuri had even stopped walking away, his back still facing Yugo. Yuya was looking at the whole event in surprise, and was probably about to say something - that Yugo was not fair here at all, but Yuto grabbed him and shook his head. The message was clear: Yuya shouldn't interrupt this at all. Yuri could be heard hissing in the background, but he didn't say anything of the sort. Yugo was not sure if that was because he couldn't or wouldn't talk. Then, sounds from the front door entrance could be heard, and the front door opened.

"Alright! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the stunning and dashing Dennis Macfield!" Dennis shouted and entered the household with a lot of passion, as well as enthusiasm. He entered the kitchen with his arms raised and with his eyes closed, as he waited for an obvious round of applause. When no one was saying anything, his eyes peeked up in confusion.

"Hey, why aren't any of you saying anything? Yuya, I thought you'd like it, I am imitating your old ma..." Dennis stopped mid sentence, and was now beginning to sense the tense atmosphere in the room.

"Am I interrupting something?" he then questioned.

Yuri hissed out a sigh. "No. you're not," he replied and looked at his 'brothers'. "But change of plans - I apparently have to enter a Tag Team Duel Runner Tournament with Slogo here!"

"Hey!" Yugo shouted in a offended tone. "My name is Yugo, not Slogo! Get it RIGHT!"

Yuri just smirked at Yugo.

"Uh okay, whatever pleases you, Yuri, but I didn't even know you could drive or duel on a duel runner," Dennis said in a perplexed tone.

"I don't have a runner either," Yuri mused out coldly. Yugo snorted at that.

"You'll have to borrow Yuya's then," he said, but couldn't stop smiling. "It's in the garage, and it's ripe for the taking."

"But it's red," Yuri complained. "Red is so not my colour."

Yugo rolled his eyes. Damn, this guy is hard work.

"Then you and Dennis will have to paint it purple," he snorted and looked firmly at Yuri. "You are NOT getting out of this one, and that's final!"

Yuri sighed deeply through his nose, pinching it. "Well then, let's get to it. The sooner I learn these ridiculous rules, the quicker we can go and be done with all of this."

Yugo smiled happily at that, making his way over to the garage. "Of course, Yuri. Maybe if we're really quick, I can teach you a couple of my own ace moves!"

Yuri sighed just as Yugo went into the garage. He threw his arms up into the air in annoyance. "Why?! Why me?!"

Yuto P.O.V.

Yuto was looking rather surprised after Yugo and Yuri left to prepare for that soon to be open tournament. Of all the things that could've happened today, Yuto never would never have thought of those two would get together for anything like this. He shook his head a little. It was bound to have happened at some point - after all, Yuri was part of the family whether he liked it or not. It didn't matter what the both of them were thinking . They might as well as accept it.

Yuto sighed inside. Maybe, just maybe, he would admit just a tiny bit that Yuri wasn't that bad. They could never find out if they should shut him out or not. Maybe Yuya had been right here - after all, if he could forgive Yuri for everything he had done and moved on from it, then why shouldn't Yuto?

Yuto turned to his counterpart. Yuya looked rather distant and was only poking at the pancakes on his plate. He had barely eaten as it was, and Yuto was getting really worried now.

"Yuya..." he began, but went silent when the young Pendulum master looked at him with depressed eyes. Yuto has a hunch why - Yuya really wanted to enter the tournament today. A tournament that Yuto had forbidden him to enter today.

Yuya sighed deeply. "Do we have to see Declan today? I can't bare the thought of going! I haven't forgiven the memory stealing bastard!"

"Yuya..." Yuto replies slowly and sighed deeply. He knew that this was going to be tricky. "You know...we could always visit Zuzu and Lulu on the way back, after we've talked with Declan and LID. It has been a while since you've seen them in private..."

"Really? We're going to see Zuzu? Oh, thank god. Then I can show her around..." Yuya uttered happily before stuffing his face with his pancakes. Just mentioning Zuzu was normally enough to make Yuya smile for hours on end.

"Then let's keep going," Yuto instructed as the two Yu boys got up from their seats. They of course cleaned up the kitchen after breakfast first (otherwise Yoko would complain about it later, and that was something Yuto definitely didn't want to happen), but they soon got out of he house and into the neighbour sidewalk.

Even though Yuya was still looking drained, he was back to his happy ongoing self. The part that Yuto has grown use to, and his most preferred mood. He didn't like it when Yuya was down in the dumps all the time. After all, Yuya was the most optimistic counterpart out of the four Yu boys. Yuri was way too mean and extremely sadistic most days; Yugo was way too energetic for his own good; and of course, Yuya had pointed out that Yuto himself was too gloomy, stern and too gothic.

Perhaps it's one of the reason why I chose my Phantom Knights deck, he always wondered to himself, subconsciously placing a hand on his deck. It reflected his personality in a lot of ways - it reflected his gothic nature, as well as his duelling skill. Pretty much the same way as it suited Yuya's Performapal deck.

"Hey Yuto, you didn't just want to cheer me up, did you?" Yuya questioned suddenly and was looking up at him with a slight smirk. "Did you only suggest that we meet Zuzu because you're hoping that Lulu is there as well?"

"Uh..." Yuto stopped and looked slightly red-faced. "What made you think that?"

"Yuri tells me that all people have a hidden agenda. So...I'm guessing that this is yours?" Yuya quipped.

Yuto looked at Yuya, before growling under his breath. Of all the people in the whole house hold, he had to listen to the purple haired twit! Yuto swore that when Yuri got back, he was going to have a nice little chat with him about teaching Yuya habits like this.

"I have no idea what you are talking about, Yuya," Yuto then replied. "I only suggested Zuzu because I thought it would cheer you up. Nothing more, nothing less."

"Yeah right," Yuya scoffed with that still present smirk on his face, patting Yuto on the shoulder in a friendly manner. "You just want to see Lulu again. After all, you two have been going out for the past few months, so just admit that you are, in fact, missing your girlfriend."

"Yuya!" Yuto shouted in disbelief. However, he also blushed a little bit.

He couldn't help but think about Lulu at that present moment. Ever since the Dimensional War had ended, and when everyone was more or less back to normal, Yuto and Lulu had been dating. Just thinking about her made Yuto's heart pound. Those dark pink eyes that sparkled like gemstones, and the way her dark purple hair blew in the wind...

"Or maybe you just want to check on her," Yuya continued, breaking Yuto's train of thought. "You two did have a date last night, right? And a pretty heated one from what dad said. Did you two-?"

"One more word about mine and Lulu's date last night, and I swear to god-!" Yuto shouted, making a few people passing by look at him funny. He was as red as a tomato now. He couldn't believe that Yuya was so forward in this. That, and it was none of his damn business. Yuto was a gentlemen, and was not going to talk about his or Lulu's night out.

"What? I was just asking," Yuya pried innocently. "You never tell me anything. You or Yugo. None of you tells me about the dates with Rin or Lulu. It drives me crazy. After all, how am I going to prepare myself when I ask Zuzu out, if I don't get any details on how to date a girl?!"

After that little speech, he suddenly turned bright red at what he said, covering his mouth. Yuto chuckled at the fact that he accidentally admitted that he was into Zuzu...even though it had been clear from the beginning. However, for Yuya to admit it out loud was a completely different story. Now that Yuya was deprived from his sleep, he apparently became much more talkative and a tiny bit careless. Yuto wasn't sure if he liked this Yuya compared to the usual one he was use to.

"If you wanted dating advice, then all you had to do was ask," Yuto said, patting Yuya's shoulder. "It's not like it's a secret that you like Zuzu. We've known for a long time now. You're not really that great when it comes to hiding your emotions, Yuya."

"Really? Well that's news to me," Yuya replies and sighed. "Guess you also know that Yuri has a slight crush on Celina then..."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, pause and rewind! He is WHAT?!" Yuto uttered rather stunned. "Yuri likes Celina? Since when?"

"Uh, how should I know? I caught him sneaking around and..." Yuya covered his mouth, a little in embarrassment. "I promised Yuri that I wouldn't tell anyone else about this. Ah, I really need more sleep. At the rate I'm going, I'll end spilling all of my secrets to Zuzu too!"

"Well then, let's get going," Yuto suggested and began walking again. One thing was Yuya spilling more secrets because of his lack of sleep, another was him spilling Yuto's secrets to Lulu. He had shared some with him too, which slowly made him realise that it was now a very bad thing. That, and the fact that they had shared the same head space once. The faster they got to LID, the better.

"AHHHHH! HELP! SOMEONE HELP! CATCH ME!" a voice suddenly scream from somewhere, making Yuto and Yuya turn around in surprise. They were both sure that they heard that scream for help. Then they looked up to see a boy literally falling from the sky for some reason.

"SOMEONE CATCH ME! HELLLLLLP!" the boy uttered scared as he tried with all his might to stop falling. All it was doing was making him fall even quicker.

"We gotta save him!" Yuya uttered, suddenly gaining a panicked expression. "What do I do?! What do I do?!" He then drew a card from his deck case. "I summon Performapal Trampolynx to the field!"

Yuto realised that Yuya had activated his duel disk before even Yuto could do anything. The Phantom Knights duellist has been about to summon his Dark Rebellion XYZ Dragon, which had clearly been the better choice than Yuya's Performapal. However, the boy surprisingly hit the trampoline on the cat's back. It stopped his fall, much to the boy and Yuya's obvious relief, but the boy bounced off the cat and -

"Ah, crap," Yuto muttered before he was slammed by the boy, both of them crashing to the ground.

"Oh, that could've been worse," the boy wheezed out, gripping the back of his head gingerly. "Thank goodness I landed on something soft."

Little did the boy knew that he was sitting on the back of a very annoyed Yuto Sakaki, who was gasping at how heavy the kid was despite his small size and lean frame.

"Get off. My. Back," Yuto barked angrily, as he clawed the ground. Finally, he had enough and threw the kid off his back and sent him crashing face first into the ground, making the kid groan from the impact. Yuto struggled to his feet, placing a hand on his sore back.

And now that the kid was on the floor, Yuto got a good look at him. The kid couldn't have been much younger than Yuya, and had tan skin, black and red spiked hair that pointed out and upward, and when he opened his eyes, Yuto saw that they were red. His attire made Yuto think that the boy was one of those kids that hung mostly out of the house and certainly during school holidays - a red vest with a white hood and a purple sleeveless shirt with a green "D" symbol. That, and the white pants and gloves made the kid look out of place almost.

"Yuma! YUMA! Yuma, are you alright?" a new voice suddenly said and to Yuto and Yuya's surprise, a spirit popped beside the weird looking kid.

Yuto and Yuya was really staring now. This was the most beautiful and weirdest spirit they had ever seen - a spirit with a transparent body in blue colouring, with green marking on it. Both of them had never seen anything like that before.

"I'm fine, Astral. Those two saved me from the fall," the boy proclaimed as he struggled to his feet, sending both Yuya and Yuto a big smile. "Thanks for saving my life."

"Who...who the hell are you?" Yuto demanded in a stern voice.

"Oh, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Yuma Tsukumo and..."

"Not you!" Yuto sneered, pointing at the spirit beside him. "Who is he?"

"Yuto wait, stop!" Yuya then exclaimed, looking at Yuma in surprise.

Yuto looked at Yuya, wondering why Yuya was turning white as a ghost right now. He was worried that Yuya was going to be sick, but kept quiet.

Yuya looked at Yuma. Then, he spoke. "You say that your name is Yuma?"

"Uh, yeah that's my name," Yuma said in a wary tone. "Why?"

"If you're Yuma..." Yuya turned to the spirit beside Yuma. "...then that means you're Astral, right?"

Both the spirit and Yuma looked surprised that Yuya would know about them. Even Yuto looked surprised, as he turned to Yuya.

"You know these two?" Yuto asked.

"Yeah, but only..." Yuya started but then stopped, as if the next part he was going to say was stupid.

"Only what?" Yuto persisted. "Where did last see these guys?"

Yuya hesitated but then spoke. "Only from a dream." He then looked back at Yuma, then frowned. "Hold on, there was a third person - a girl with orange hair with a serious attitude. Isn't she with you?"

That made the boys eyes go wide, as he and the spirit looked around and up above the sky. "Zaira! Aw man, please don't tell me we got separated?!"

"It is possible," Astral stated, crossing his arms across his transparent body. "We were after all escaping with our lives."

"Yeah, but I thought she'd be behind us!" Yuma exclaimed. "Aw man, where could she be?!"

He turned back to Yuto and Yuya. "Who are you, and how the heck do you even know us? Are you with the guys that attacked us back in Heartland City?"

"My name is Yuya Sakaki," Yuya replied slowly. "This is my brother, Yuto. We're citizens of Paradise City."

"Never mind that," Yuto interrupted, looking at Yuma intensely. Hearing about an attack on Heartland City made his heart skip a beat, as he was reminded of the terrible war Duel Academy had brought to the XYZ dimension. "What do you mean about the attack on Heartland City? There's been another attack?"

"You've gotta be with the ones that attacked us!" Yuma insisted. "Why else would you mention Zaira in the first place?!"

"Yuma, I don't think they know anything about Zaira," Astral said. "Despite the fact that this Yuya character saw us in a dream that he has had, they obviously don't know anything else."

"Alright, then explain how they can be able to see you," Yuma asked Astral. "No one, apart from our friends, can see you. How the hell do these guys know about you and can see you?"

"Hmm," Astral pondered, now gaining a look of interest as he looked at Yuto and Yuya. "That is an interesting question. You are not without merit on that fact, Yuma."

"Then I say that we duel these guys, and get the answer out of them," Yuma said, getting a funny looking duel disk on his arm prepped. "Then we find Zaira afterwards."

"Whoa, whoa, time out!" Yuya exclaimed with a look of panic. "We don't want to duel you!"

"Yuya, stay back," Yuto said, getting in front of Yuya, gently pushing him back. "They're obviously not going to listen. So if it's a duel they want, then it's a duel they'll GET!"

He then suddenly raised his arm, his duel disk activating a blade of dark purple energy appeared on his duel disk monitor, his Life Point meter going up to four thousand instantly.

"Whoa!" Yuma exclaimed as soon as he saw Yuto's duel disk. "What kind of-?! Never mind that! It's time to HIGH FIVE THE SKY!"
