It was unexpected to everyone (except myself) that Yuya apparently fell into a coma. While this was going on, I spoke with my ace as something was causing me to worry.

"Did you notice anything off when we defeated Fluffstein, Utopia? Like someone has been watching us from afar." I ask, glancing out the window of my room I was given by Mrs. Sakaki. While I couldn't see anything, I knew someone was watching me.

"Yes, yet it felt familiar in a way. I fear it could be a rogue Number, taking form once again..." As Utopia says this, a knock is heard at the door.

"Come in!" I say, dismissing Utopia back to the Spirit World for now. The door opens to reveal Yuzu, a bit nervous it seemed.

"Hey John? I know this might be an odd question, but have you happened to see someone who looked similar to Yuya lately? I can't help but feel like I'm seeing things..."

I look to her, unsure if I should say anything. But after some thought, I decided to take a gamble and half lie.

"You know Yuzu, maybe you seen someone that was like Yuya's double. I have heard sometimes, somewhere in the world, there is always a double of us born as well. As for if I have seen anyone who was similar, I would be lying if I said no."

Hearing this, Yuzu seemed to nod, still not satisfied, but accepted my answer. I get up and head to the door, preparing to head to the stadium.

"Where are you off to?" Yuzu asked. I smile back at her, taking her hand.

"I think we should watch some duels to get your mind out of the stress train it's on."

And with that, I lead/drag her to the stadium, unaware that today was Shiro's turn to duel.

"Welcome duelists to the next day of the tournament! I am yout MC, Nico Smiley, and I am happy to announce we have another newcomer to LDS and Miamai City competing today! She is said to use Fusion, and today, we will see what her cards are capable of! Please welcome Shiro Yuki!"

Stepping onto the duel field, Shiro waves gently, unsure if she should have gone this far or just hide. However, she sees Shun from the sidelines, and a smile creeps across her face as she remembers the night before. Their promise to help each other would stand, and she would show him what she's got.

"Now, her opponent! From outside of Maiami City, she has raised her rank in just a month to be able to enter this tournament. Please welcome Alice!"

At the announcement of her opponents name, Shiro looked across to see a young girl in black hair wearing a black dress you'd probably see on a doll, wearing biker boots and a headband.

Alice looked across to Shiro, and a sly smile like a Cheshire cat crossed her face.

"Let's have a fun duel, shall we?" Asked Alice, her voice hiding something.

Nico Smiley then announces for the action field to activate.
The randomizer for field selection soon lands on what seemed like a cityscape.

"Action Field: Metropolis of Heros!"

Shiro would smile, as she had home field advantage in a way now.

"Duelists locked in battle!" starts Shiro.

"Kicking the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters!" continued Alice.
"They storm through this field!" Shouts the audience.
"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Exclaims Nico.
"ACTION," I shout from the bleachers.
"DUEL!" Declare both Shiro and Alice

"I'll start this off," declares Shiro, looking at her hand and smiling, "by summoning Neo Spacian Air Hummingbird!"
As she placed the card on her duel disk supplied by Reji, the Neo Spacian appeared in a flurry of feathers before taking a heroic pose.

"Air Hummingbird's effect! I gain 500 life points for each card you have in hand, Alice, so I'll be taking an additional 2500, so thank you."

Shiro's monster takes flight over to Alice, whose cards turned into flowers as he collected nectar, it seemed. Particles fall on Shiro, raising her life points to 6500.

"Next, I'll place two cards face down and end my turn." With that, Shiro then is lifted up by Air Humming Bird in search of Action Cards.

"Well, that is quite the start for Shiro, fans! She has already increased her life points through her monster's effect, effectively taking the lead! How will Alice counter this on her turn?" Announces Nico, getting the crowd excited.

Just entering the stands, Yuzu and I would go to the railing to watch. After seeing Shiro adapting to Action Dueling with ease, I smile. However, my smile drops when I see her opponent.

"Wait, is that...."

"I draw." Says Alice. Looking at her hand, she smiles even more.
"I will set two cards, then summon Doll Chameleon."
As she says this, two cards appear facedown before fading, and a lizard like monster that appeared like a plush in a suit with a monocle.

Doll Chameleon: Level 4

Atk: 1200

Def: 2000

"I will use Chameleon's effect. He can copy the effect of an opponent, monster. As you have two cards in hand, I'll copy your Hummingbird's effect to gain 1000 life points."

Alice Life points: 5000

"Now, I will end my turn. Chameleon, go forth and seek out Action cards."

Doll Chameleon then bows to Alice before disappearing to find any Action Cards for its mistress.

"This is an interesting start so far, folks! While Shiro does have more life points than her opponent, Alice seemed to be able to close that gap significantly by Doll Chameleon's own effect!" explains Nico Smiley, while everyone cheers on for the two to make the duel entertaining. However, one individual in the crowd was unsettled.

"Hmmmm. So another doll has appeared, yet this one I do recall from my binge watching in my former life." I mutter, unsure if Shiro knew Alice's origins or not.

"I draw!" shouts Shiro, and she motions for Air Hummingbird to land on a nearby building as she grabs an Action Card. Unfortunately, it was an Action Trap.

"Oh dear! Seems Shiro has activated the Action Trap - Bank Robbery! For each card in her hand and on her field, she will lose 200 Life Points! She has a total of 6 cards, meaning she will lose 1200 Life Points!" Shouts Nico, and as if on cue, several chibi assailants attack Shiro from all sides. Air Hummingbird does his best to keep them off her, but the damage was done.

Shiro's Life Points: 6500-1200= 5300

"Dang, for little guys, they definity packed some punches." chuckles Shiro, getting back up and looking to her hand.
"Since that happened, I should play some offense. I will normal summon Elemental HERO Neos Alias in attack mode!"
As she placed her card on her blade, a white hero with red lines and blue gems appears. However to some in the audience, he seemed more like a sidekick than a hero due to his stature of being thinned arm.

Elemental HERO Neos Alias: Level 4

Atk: 1900

Def: 1300

"Next, I will activate his hidden power with this equip spell in hand, Supervise! In case you were not away, my fair viewers, Neos Alias is a Gemini Monster! Once his inner power is awakened by Supervise, his name is treated as Elemental HERO Neos!"

At this declaration, Neos Alias is engulfed in flames. However, he emerges more buffed and even glowing, a slight silhouette behind him of a similar dressed warrior, but more grand.

"Next, I play the risky spell known as Draw Pain. I have to pay 1000 Life points in order to draw an additional card, and thankfully I will do that 5 times since I have 5300 Life Points!" Shiro does this, and then gets struck by several bolts of lightning for each card drawn.

Shiro's Life Points: 5300-5000= 300

"What is Shiro doing!? She may have drawn more cards, but now she has only 300 Life points left! Is she giving up?" yells Nico, clearly confused by this move.

"A hero never gives up, and sometimes they need to face strong adversity to become stronger. Now, let me show you what I mean! I set 2 cards, and then I will Contact Fuse Neo Spacian Air Hummingbird with Neos Alias treated as Elemenetal HERO Neos! Monsters used in a Contact Fusion are returned to the deck instead of going to the graveyard!"

As she explains, Shiro's Air Hummingbird and Neos Alias fly up, the sky becoming a cosmic galaxy.

"Agent of Neo Space's skies, Warrior who dons the mask of Neos, Unite and show the world the teamwork of HEROs! Fusion Summon! Take to the skies, Elemental HERO Air Neos!"

After her chant finishes, a red suited hero with white wings descends, causing the winds in the stadium to blow around. A certain Leo Student with golden blonde hair cries out in despair as his cotton candy was blown into his uniform and hair, ruining his look to all those around him.

Elemental HERO Air Neos: Level 7

Atk: 2500

Def: 2000

"Hmmm. So that is one of 'his' ace monster's forms? This is interesting." mutters Alice, as she goes to activate one of her set cards. "I activate my trap, Doll Photography! With it, I special summon a clone of your monster as a Doll Token. Though I feel calling it a doll in this case is insulting. How about I call my clone monster an Action Figure Token?"

As Alice finishes her talk, a figuring steps out of the light from her trap. It was literally like an action figure version of Air Neos, but with less attention to detail in some places. 

"Next, my other trap goes off. Doll Shield! With this card, all monsters with Doll in their original name, besides token monsters, are able to survive attacks once per battle phase. Now that my two cards are done, you may continue your turn.... Shiro Yuki."

After Alice says her last name with a hint of malice, Shiro feels a bit uneasy. However, she knew she had to finish this duel with a win to get further.
"Fine then Alice. As my life points are lower than yours, Air Neos gains the difference to his attack! So now he goes from 2500 to 7200! And next," Shiro grabs an action card that was blown loose from the raging winds caused by Air Neo's summon, "I play the Action Spell - No Action! Just to make sure you don't get the jump on me. Now, Battle Phase! Neos, attack Doll Chameleon!"

As she declared the attack, Air Neos flies up, blowing up more winds which cause Doll Chameleon to lose its invisibility for a moment. However, as he dives in with a punch, Alice's token version of Air Neos intercepts the attack, taking it into its chest as it fell to pieces as plastic.

"Doll Chameleon's additional effect protects him as long as I have another Doll monster on the field. As my Action Figure Token is technically a Doll Token, he fits into the criteria for this to be used." explains Alice smugly, while slightly getting blown back as her life points drop to 300.

"Tch. You definitely have some good counter measures, Alice. I will end my turn with one face down and after equipping Air Neos with Neos Gift. It lets him ignore his effect of returning to my extra deck at the end of the turn, which would have been bad for me." Explains Shiro.

"Amazing! While Shiro almost one with an OTK, Alice counters it and brings the life point count to both being equally 300 each! What kind of moves will we see next!?"
