As the light started to go away, I open my eyes and see I'm in a warehouse nearby the docks.
Well, guess I better go find somewhere to sleep.
As I leave the warehouse, a camera catches sight of me. It follows my path, unknowingly to me.
****Two hours later****
I find that everyone is watching the huge screens on the buildings. I look up and see it's the duel between Strong Ishijima and Yuya Sakaki. I then feel a sudden headache hit me as Yuya's pendant starts glowing. I also notice my deck glowing a little bit. I pull it out, and see several of my cards I had aquired when I arrived in the Xyz Dimension had become pendulum cards. To say I was expecting this would be a lie, but I couldn't help but feel like I was given a major role. On what, I don't know.
"It-it's amazing! Yuya Sakaki has defeated the champion, Strong Ishijima, with a new Summoning method!"
Everyone stays silent, then there's yells claiming Yuya cheated. I look around where I was and the same at the stadium was going on. I was getting ready to leave until someone caught my eye. She was wearing a black shirt under a red blazer, had black jean shorts, and brown hair. She looks at me and I could tell something was off. She then runs to an alley way, me in pursuit. However, when I reach the entrance to said alley way, there's no sign of the brunette.
Hmmmmm. Something seemed familiar about her.....
I was then pull out of my thoughts by the sound of snickering behind me.
"Well what do we have here? A mouse for me to eat?" I turn to see someone I never thought I'd see since his major defeat in the original Yu-Gi-Oh, during Duelist Kingdom.
"Panik? Oh boy."
As I mentioned his name, he smiled hugely.
"Oh? So you've heard of me?" He laughs. "Good! It'll make beating you much sweeter."
As I simply activate my duel disk, I notice he has an Academia disk! At this, I narrow my eyes.
"You're an agent of Academia?" Panik simply laughs evily at this.
"Well yes. But I have a friend who wants help destroying you, Utopic Peace Keeper."
I stand there, shock clearly on my face for he laughed again.
"It's someone I am certain your ace monster might know. But let's get down to business. I'm certain that the Professor will give me a great reward for defeating and carding you for how much rumors you have spread among the ranks."
I got into a stance, but was clearly shaken. Who wanted me defeated other than the Professor? I had to think straight. Otherwise, I'd end up a card.
"DUEL!" We both yelled.
